Up until he met you, he had never really thought about his sexuality or what his preferences were. In fact, he never really considered relationships at all since his focus was on entirely different things.

You were a new transfer to the school and Hairo, as friendly as ever, introduced himself and offered a quick tour around the school. You hit it off almost immediately. Your personalities balanced each other out really well and Hairo was pleased to know you had similar interests. Ever since that day, things just kind of went naturally. There wasn´t any awkward tension that most people would have in the earlier stages of a friendship. Instead, it felt like you had known each other your whole lives.

It was during this time that Hairo began to develop feelings for you, though he wasn´t aware it was romantic attraction. He always assumed the fluttering in his belly and the tightening in his chest was caused by his affection for you as a friend. It wasn´t until you had hugged him tightly one day that he began to question if that was the case.

It took him a while to bring up the topic. He found out, that it was a lot harder than he imagined. At last though, he managed to bring it up, hoping you wouldn´t catch on to his nervousness. However, the conversation helped him ground himself back to earth and possibly make a move on you.

Hairo tried to be subtle, to make small moves on you that weren´t too obvious. But, at the end of the day, he´s a boisterous guy, and being straightforward was his suit. The more he waited the more agitated he grew, he couldn´t stand waiting around much longer. Which is why, ona Friday afternoon after classes, he held you back, bringing you over to your usual spot under the cherry blossom tree. With a shaky hand, he held out your favorite flower. "Y/n I like you" He didn´t beat around the bush. Subconsciously, he held his breath, wating for rejection.

Instead, he hears your soft laugh, the smile he loves so much plastered on your lips. "I like you too Hairo"

Your relationship from then on went smoothly. Hairo was proud to be your boyfriend and he showed you off as often as possible. PDA? Sign him up for that. He had zero shame in being affectionate with you, whether it´d be by pressing kisses to your face or hugging you. He´s very vocal about his affections too. He loves loves lovesss complimenting you and hyping you up. Anything just to see that cute blush of pink on your cheeks.

He´s always sure to call out any homophobia when he´s around, especially if it´s comments directed towards your relationship. He is not scared to voice his opinions or fight back. He´s very protective of you and doesn´t want to see you hurt over homophobes.

He´s a golden retriever!! You have him wrapped around your finger and trust when I say he will do anything for you. He´s always like a puppy chasing behind his owner, looking up at them with puppy eyes waiting for their approval. He´s a lovesick puppy and isn´t ashamed to admit it! Your word is the law, whatever you say he agrees. So arguments are not common. If his boyfriend tells him to shut up, he will do just that.

All in all, he´s a very loving boyfie and deserves all the hype in the world <3

-The notebook being thrown into the water at the start, I. did not know there was water there.

-The lights turning off during fights in general was just spectacular to see, the noise of it shutting off as it did made it all the better.

-Darrel going to Ponyboy first after he's jumped & the rumble. Same as the book but sweet non the less.

-Soda always trying to get Darrel away whenever he's about to argue with Pony.

-Two-bit got a hubcap from the Socs, knew this but still funny to see.

-Ace saying "Yeah I like girls" after Soda says "You'd know huh Ace?" or something along those lines in GGAH. I was shaking when I heard that

-Soda didn't catch the hair grease when it was thrown at him, had another one in his back pocket 😭

-Ponyboy mentioning Sodapop saying Sandy's name in his sleep sometimes, awkward conversation to have..

-Johnny just plopping right into the tire when Dallas came to check on him as his parents fought, and then swatting him away when Dallas tried to go in his house, and the silence that came after. Ouch.

-Loved the dances during Friday at the drive in!

-PONY TRYING TO LOOK COOL BEFORE SITTING NEXT TO CHERRY IN THE DRIVE IN, I wasn't looking at them when they were hyping each other to get up at the start, only caught the last glimpse but then Pony popped up his collar, Johnny copying 😭 and then smoothing down his hair and sitting "all cool" cracked me up. -Darrel SOBBING when Ponyboy came to the table to eat at the very end. I did not expect that at all and felt myself tear up a bit (I didn't cry at all before that). He turned right to my section when he was trying to hide his sobs so I got a clear view of him trying to bottle it back up :(

-Loved the Gold lighting at the very end. Beautiful show overall!! Shame I can't see it again 💔

I must admit, I was part of the crowd who'd rather not have Ciri as the main protagonist for Witcher 4. Ever since the topic for the Witcher 4 protagonist arose years ago, I had always stuck to that POV. After all, Ciri's story is done. They've taken all that inspiration from her childhood to her bloodline to her linkage with elves, to her reunion with her parents, to her taking revenge and saving the world, and finally let you decide her ending by being a good father to her in the third game.

So, even though I knew there was that probability CDPR would go ahead with making her the protagonist, I had always, always, hoped they would not go down that line. But welp, they did!

I did not find out about the trailer reveal myself; I had found out about it that Friday morning when one of my closest mates DM'ed me on IG about the trailer which was just revealed. And not gonna lie, knowing the big reveal before watching the trailer made me feel a stab of disappointment at first. But you know, Witcher is Witcher, and I shouldn't judge it without first watching the trailer.

And so...I watched it. And I almost cried. Maybe because I felt too connected to them and love Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri way too much, or maybe because Ciri is too hot and badass af in the trailer. Or because it's slavic and staying true to its roots. Or the way it's still grim and just felt so familiar to me. And I guess it's actually ALL of those reasons. I could feel, again, CDPR's passion in making Witcher games as lore accurate, and as morally gray as possible. I've always loved that about them and it was what made me love Witcher from the start. Seeing most of my friends hyped up over it sort of influenced me too, and now I absolutely can't wait for the new game.

Though...despite that excitement, a little fear does remain that CDPR might mess up this new trilogy. So I do understand why several fans are against it (we shall not talk about the other group of people who were only upset because they have to play as a gIrL) But seeing how Witcher 1 only improved with each game as it progressed up to the masterpiece known as TW3, I want to put my hope in CDPR and trust in their writing abilities.

THAT SAID, to celebrate that fantastic new trailer and to show off my excitement, I've tried to make Witcher 4 Ciri in Witcher 3, only possible to the quick, god's work of Modders as usual :') Also!! Can I just say...@witcherscreenshotsdump's Ciri Ursine mod fist so well with this hair! [1] [2] [3]

I don't usually pen opinions like these online but there is so much controversy over this that I felt as if I need to explain myself ^^; I am more used to writing oneshots and cheesy romance lines for the characters I love so...if you read this to the end, THANK YOUU and I do want to know what you think about Witcher 4 too :D

The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update 21/April/2023

I have this weird thing where I both love and hate planning, hehe! :D

I love it because I get to decide everything that's coming up and get hyped about the scenes I'm going to get to write (some of them I've been waiting over a decade to turn from notes into actual scenes, so I am intensely excited about that!).

On the other hand...because there's so much I wanna write I just want to be writing it now, lol!

But I definitely learned from Book Three that I can't rush the planning stage. Especially not with how varied the branches are becoming and wanting to get those stories weaving around each other. The more work I put into planning now, the smoother writing will go!

Writing definitely is always a learning experience! :D

I'm focusing on the overall story at the moment. I tend to find it easier to look at the story as a whole and break it down into the basics: beginning, middle, end. Just the story for Book Four. Once I've got that down, then I can start seeing how the other branches will work within it.

Book Four is a big one for me as it's not just the ball we've all been waiting for, but the antagonist has...motivations that are different.

They are still after the MC drawn in by their blood, as all the villains generally are, but it's for a different reason...which makes it all the more interesting in how that plays out with the vampires and especially the love interest!

Plus they're the first antagonist that is a supernatural made up specifically for Wayhaven and not based on an existing legend! (And in true Wayhaven tradition, I am of course a little bit in love with them already, hehe!)

Next week will be continuing on with big picture planning and getting the beats for that solidly set.

heallo everynyan!!! For thanksgiving break I spent the whole time at my grandma's kinda wanted to go home earlier but oh well. On Friday I binge watched the entirety of clash to be champions (1st and second season) and I enjoyed it, I think I'll follow through to the end! It was kinda just to see the hype bc I srsly never heard of it til like a week or two ago but. I dont like firepound that much sorry ^-^; I was a bit spoiled for their relationship cuz of the comments on earlier episodes so that already heightened my expectations (which I guess isn't fair but.. shrug) and its just.. Mediocre? Idk most of it was "aahhh I miss pound I only tolerate HIM" "ime so happy fireball is in my team now heh" idk. Thousands of years ago dragons ruled the skies. With their terrible fiery breaths and intelligence they were seen as the biggest threat to mankind. But as the years pass and the world changed dragons started to disappear one by one from the war between them and humans. Nowadays they are simply deemed a fantasy in storybooks. But you are still alive. Sure you might have to stick to your human form and adapt to modern life but the large scaly beast was still active inside of you, waiting to break free.

You lived in an apartment complex in the lesser side of the city, where crime was a bit more prominent, your typical robbers and car jackers. No one dared to bother you so you were never worried of waking up with your stuff stolen or getting mugged off the street. The reason you moved here was because it was much more interesting than surrounding yourself around pompous idiots in the white collar district. You also had made a couple of friends in the complex including a young mother with two young children that you babysit every Friday night and an widow who always told nice stories.

It took awhile to adjust to your new mundane life. You missed the times when you were a large liege seizing havoc upon knights and hoarding your prized possessions but that didn’t mean you couldn’t entertain yourself. At night you would fly through the dark skies over the city looking down at the light up buildings just like the old times.

This particular morning you woke up around six am getting up and ready for work at your new job. You was a camera person for this live set children’s show called ‘Welcome Home’. If you had to pick it reminded you a bit of Mister Rogers and Sesame Street. There were live actors that would dress up as these characters and do your typical lessons like being kind to one another and how to count to ten. You didn’t have no opinion on it since you wasn’t the targeted audience. After getting dress and shoving a toast in your mouth you rush out of the building to the train station taking the D train to the uptown area. While riding the train you looked down at your phone scrolling through your feed not paying anyone no mind, even when someone was singing loudly drunk.

After getting to the studio and clocking in you immediately got to work setting up the cameras. The other workers rushed around preparing to record a few episodes while the actors got ready. You’ve met all of them finding them kinda quirky but friendly folks, but your least favorite of them all was Wally. He was a weirdo to say the least. The ‘star’ of the show most would say and for good reason; he was funny, charming, and pretty outgoing to everyone who met him. A lot of the people around here and his fanbase found him attractive as well with his cocoa brown skin and dark blue dyed hair that was always put up in a pompodor. You however didn’t see the hype but then again humans didn’t really get you going, you only dated a handful in the past. On top of all of this he just had a weird vibe that you couldn’t exactly place, maybe because he had a bit of a staring problem that people overlooked.

After thirty minutes everything was put in place as you started to record. You sat there with the other camera people as the actors performed on the set. This particular episode featured Wally, Barnaby, and Howdy teaching kids about counting and adding. Wally was explaining how adding works while looking straight at your camera, but it felt like he was staring at you. There goes that weird feeling again but you quickly shook it off. Afterwards the break bell rings and you all stepped away to eat lunch. You pick up your subway sandwich sitting down between Poppy and Frank diving in hungrily, scarfing it down in less than ten minutes.

“Geez Y/N, you sure can eat!” Barnaby says teasingly from across the table. “That wasn’t even five minutes!”

“What can I say? I’m a growing person.” You respond patting your stomach causing the others to laugh.

“How about about an eating contest?” He challenge raising an eyebrow.

“You’re on big guy.” You smirk as Julie jumps up clapping her hands. “Me and Frank can be the judge!” Frank cuts his eyes over at the rest of you while holding up a book. “Why me? They’re going to just get themselves sick.” He shakes his head.

“Come on Frank, it’ll be fun.” Julie pleads as he sighs putting a bookmark in his book before closing it.

“Can I also judge?” A voice calls as all of you turn to the star of the show himself, Wally. While everyone lights up you couldn’t help a frown appearing. Great. Mister big shot was here.

“Sure Wally!” Julie was saying excitedly as she starts listing stuff they would need. You could feel his eyes boring into the side of your face as you tried not to look over at the blue haired man. Don’t make eye contact to give him any ideas. The bell rings signaling that lunch was over. As everyone disperse to go back to their places you felt a hand on your shoulder looking over to see it was Wally. He was staring at you so intensely that it felt like he was looking into your soul.

“Hello Y/N, how have you been?” He asks in that sickly sweet voice you loathed.

“I’ve been alright Wally.” You said putting your hands on your pockets. You both stared at one another in some type of staring contest. He was shorter than you, probably just above 5’1, so he was looking up at you. You wasn’t intimidated by this kid, in fact you was more annoyed by him than ever. What did he want? You couldn’t help but feel like he was hiding something.

“So did you needed something or did you just wanted to stare at my pretty face?” You said chuckling trying to break the tension. At your comment Wally grins flashing all of his teeth and you could have sworn his pupils got larger.

“I don’t mind either.” He said in a flirtatious tone causing you to double take. Was he…flirting with you? Just as you was about to say something he turns and strolls off casually, hands behind his back as he hummed the Welcome Home theme song.

God he was weird.

There's more flavours on mountain dew?

Mountain Dew has had a ton of limited time flavors.

But Mango Heat was not a mere flavor. It was an experience.

Picture it, Versailles KY, 2017. It's a Friday. You walk to work and on your way you stop in the gas station for some caffeine.

Then you see it for the first time. The amber-orange Mango Heat Mountain Dew.

You think to yourself that it's a weird combo for the drink. You won't like it. You buy one anyway.

As you continue on the the physically demanding drudgery that is the hell of a 9 buck an hour factory job at Yokohama you crack it open.

Instantly your tastebuds are met with the divine riot of flavors that combine into what mere mortals' limited vocabulary can only describe as "Mango Heat".

The flavor is sunny. The peppery undertones promise adventure while simultaneously fulfilling that promise for your tongue.

Your lips tingle with spice and a desire for more as caffeine reverbrates through your brain.

After you walk home from your 10hr shift you are exhausted. But it is Friday. And your roommate is your bestie. You can't just sleep.

But you need fuel to stay up and play games and make fun of bad movies. You need snacks.

Then you remember. Mango. Heat.

You tell your friend of this glorious nectar of the gods and so at 1:30 in the am you march on through the night across town to the 24/7 Circle K that housed the spicy beverage.

On the way you sing a perfect duet of the song "Tribute" by Tenacious D, followed by making loud moany orgasm noises as you pass by a residential area to embarrass your friend.

You get to the gas station and share what is one of the two greatest drinks of all time. You take your treasure back home and play games while eating chips and getting hyped up on caffeine.

That is Mango Heat. And when you drink it years later you don't just taste the exquisite interplay of sweet and spicy, but you taste the memories.

**SPOILERS AHEAD, don't be that dick that complains about spoilers when there's a clear warning, and it's been 2 whole days since the event**

All these opinions are my own, and some may not be popular, and most will be controversial in essence. Probably. Maybe I'm just not used to people agreeing with me?

I was so excited for this PLE, and the fact that it was held in Scotland. I'm not Scottish, but I do live in Northern England, which is the closest I've ever been to a WWE PLE.

On the run-up to CATC, these were my predictions:

Cody Rhodes d. AJ Styles Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill d. Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn and Shayna Baszler & Zoe Stark Sami Zayn d. Chad Gable Bayley d. Piper Niven Drew McIntyre d. Damien Priest

We'll go chronologically...

Cody Rhodes vs AJ Styles - "I Quit" Match

I'm a realist when it comes to things like this, so I knew that AJ wasn't going to win the championship. However, that doesn't deter from the fact that I wanted him to win so badly.

If you follow me or know me, you'll know my stance on Cody Rhodes... I hate him. I used to really like him, but as soon as he won the 2024 Royal Rumble, he became really tedious to me. Sure, he's a good athlete. But you have to be to make it in WWE. I truly don't understand the hype he got in Scotland, or the hype he gets in general. His "reign" is embarrassing, and so weak coming off the back of Roman Reigns' title run. I don't like the way he holds the belt, I don't like how arrogant he is. And I especially don't like the saviour complex and the "good guy" image he tries so hard to protect and project, when he was quite happy to see his fanbase verbally brutalise another (that's not even mentioning the race-themed insults...)

Anyway, the press event on the Friday solidified how annoying he is to me. The crowd surf? So unneccessary. It was like you could sense the raging hard-on he was getting from the fan's reactions to him being in their presence. There's a way to appreciate support without being a dick.

I enjoyed seeing AJ beat the crap out of Cody, despite the fact I knew that he wasn't going to win. And I actually agree with the fact he didn't win; as much as I love AJ, that title needs to be taken from Cody by someone who's a lot bigger than him. After all, the reason why Cody's win over Roman at WMXL worked was because of the long-form storytelling and the feud that slowly built between them. That, and it was time for Roman to move on to bigger and better things than Cody bloody Rhodes. Believe that.

Also yes I fucking screamed when Solo made his appearence, and then the boys, I'm--

Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill vs. Shayna Baszler & Zoe Stark vs. Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn - Triple Threat Tag Team Match

I have a fair amount of followers/people I'm following who love Jade and Bianca. I understand it. And I 1000% agree with anyone who says Bianca is a phenomenal athlete and has brought a lot for the WWE. I can see Jade's potential, though I'm not entirely sure she's ready to handle anything more than a Tag Team Championship just yet.

I know a lot of people disagree with the outcome of this match, and I can't say that I fully understand why it panned out the way it did. I can only guess that it was the necessity to have at least one Scottish opponent win during a PLE in Scotland.

Bianca and Jade not winning this match is a positive for them, in my opinion. It gives Jade a chance to perhaps develop her presence as a solo performer and athlete, now that Bianca has helped with her exposure to the masses. I'm interested in where they plan to take the two of them as characters and how they evolve in the future... potential enemies? Can't say for certain just yet, but their reaction to the loss was significant and will mean more than we realise as of right now.

That being said, I have the utmost respect for Alba for getting through this, considering what she's had to deal with recently. Losing your mum in such a tragic way is devestating, and I commend her for her strength and ability.

I like Alba and Isla a lot, and I'm hoping that we see more of them in the future now that they have the championship. They deserve a bit of a push.

However, I have to say that I really wanted Shayna and Zoe to win this one. They're a badass tag team, and the crowd's chant of "Shayna scares me" had me rollinggggg!

Sami Zayn vs. Chad Gable

I don't have that much to say about this match. If they chose to take the title from Sami, it would just be weird. To me, anyways.

What I do find wholesome about this whole story is Otis and Maxine. How they're under the manipulative guise of a heel, and Sami sees right through it. Sami harbours no ill feelings towards Chad's subjects, and shows compassion to Otis in particular. Otis' development and personal growth is showing, and I'm so excited for what they're going to do with him in the future.

In regards to the match itself, I don't think anyone can say it was a bad match, or a boring one for that matter. People often forget just how incredible of a wrestler and athlete Sami Zayn is, and mostly remember him as the "Ucey" guy. And whilst I love comedic Sami, I adore the version of Sami we have currently. The hard-hitter, the no-bullshit fiery warrior. Gah!

All in all, in terms of the actual wrestling, this was my favourite match of the night. It was the most entertaining and most satisfying as a viewer.

Bayley vs. Piper Niven

Oh Piper...

I love both of these women to pieces, and it must have been so cool for Bayley to go out there on her birthday and have people acknowledge that.

I always enjoy Piper and Bayley when they're in the ring, together and separately. I still maintain that Bayley and Iyo's match at WMXL was the best of the whole weekend. Bayley's transformation over the last 5 years has been nothing short of entertaining and I love seeing her flourish with the championship.

Piper Niven has one of the strongest willpowers I've ever seen, and it shows in the way she conducts herself in the ring. I would have liked to see either of these win the match, however, I wouldn't have necessarily agreed if Piper did win.

Personally, I think Bayley needs to keep the title a little longer before it's taken from her, and Piper needs to be put in big matches like these for a little longer until she takes a title like that. Like I said with Cody vs. Roman, it's about the build up that makes a win credible, or satisfying.

Chelsea is growing on me, too. She's incredibly funny and talented, and I wish they pushed her a bit more. She's got a huge personality and has the potential to be a lot bigger of a star.

Drew McIntyre vs. Damien Priest

Where's the *sigh* button?

I recently started reading Drew's autobiography so watching Drew have such incredible moments over the weekend only 30 minutes from his hometown hit me a little harder than it should have. And yes, I did tear up at the simple prospect of Drew winning.... Imagine if he did?

Drew is up there in my top 5 favourite wrestlers of all time, and Damien is in The Judgement Day, which is my second favourite faction (after The Bloodline ofc), so deciding who I wanted to win was a very difficult decision. I was positive that they were going to give Drew this win, purely with it being in Scotland, and that the build up has been weighty enough for it to pay off in a win. But the fact that Hunter has chosen to take the other path... makes me nervous for what he does have up his sleeve for Drew.

I was disappointed that CM Punk decided to pop in and fuck everything up (again), but after a while I started to think about it a bit more... It wouldn't have actually made sense for Drew to win this match. And I'll tell you why.

Unless I'm mistaken, the Heavyweight Champion will go on to face Gunther at Summerslam, right? Why would Drew be needing to face Gunther? Surely the only person that it would make sense for Drew to be fighting right now is Punk! Damien has found himself in a situation where he's not involved in the feud between Drew and Punk; he isn't involved in any of that. So Damien vs. Gunther makes more sense, and it allows that space for a Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk match at Summerslam, or any other PLE.

Not only that, but Damien needs to keep a championship, otherwise Mami has a completely broken faction to return to. Between Finn and Damien's tension, and Dom's predicaments with Liv, a titleless faction is not something they need at the moment.

So, yes, I'm sad for Drew that he didn't get to have his moment in his home country, but it absolutely makes more sense for Damien to win and for the tension between Punk and Drew to intensify... Once again... long-form storytelling always pays off in the end. I'm confident Drew will get a title in the future, and keep it. He really deserves that. And I can only hope that Hunter sees that.

Hunter may not always make the best decisions, or what may seem like it at the time, but he's been in the game (hehe) long enough... I have faith in him that he knows what he's doing and he's got some good stuff lined up for us.
