#i changed his colors !!#treat this as a suggestion than a solid ref. i spent like 3 hours drawing and redrawing the legs bc i couldnt get the shape right so if u#wanna draw them more planti or digi i do not mind ^_^ get silly with it!! same goes for pelt pattern do whatevr u want with it#the pelt pattern is loosely based on a snowshoe cat which was fun to play with. as u can see they kinda have a butterfly motif going on#if u squint the ear tufts kinda resemble luna moths or swallowtails with the long tail at the end of the wings#i was kinda torn about changing the costume color but it clashed too much with the new color palette so i had to change it#i didnt include the cape here so its easier to see the costume but ill draw it another time if i remember lol#its also a lil hard to see but i put pinstripes on their pants but thats optional. their design is pretty flexible anyway#god im pretty attached to this guy already. hes like semi fan character semi regular character... oc... thing#i should draw more furries. i followed some furry artists for giggles recently and its true what they say. u need furries in your life#btw while i was drawing this i was fooling around while trying to figure out his costume color and colored it as kaito kids suit for fun#and i just stared at it for a solid 5 minutes before saving a picture. maybe ill post it later#my art#myart#my oc#oc#furry art#fur#furry#laika's comet#laika's comet oc#fan character#sleight#ref sheet#oc ref sheet

hey guys i found this weird discontinued doll line from 2014, seems like the gimmick is each doll comes with a pet, except the pet is just an entire dude? so theyre mostly sold in two-packs, technically. i cant find much information on these except a weird tie-in comic on neocities, but i cant tell if its official or fan-made. can anyone let me know if they find more pictures of these? thx

all the time i am aware of the fact that i need to actually sit down and figure out what grimm's actual cowboy getup looks like bc i've just been kinda coasting on vibes and sporadic research this whole time. get some chaps for that beast
#i said months ago i need to sit down and design character outfits and. well i have only marginally done that#stylistically i love drawing grimm in all dark clothes but realistically i don't think their wardobe has all dark colors esp when they're#on the move for a good chunk of the story so they have this sort of 'take what they can get' mentality to clothes i think#yarrow could also stand to get some more clothes in the mix but he's easier to design for#ideally this will be done before art fight. however#oughgh their profiles have been like. only marginally updated since last year maybe since i have less characters i'll try to reformat#things a bit. i don't think i gotta rewrite their descs that much though so that's a win#but also i don't think i'm jumping in immediately this year bc i have. work stuff......#rambles#grimm

I REACHED MAX TAGS ON MY LAST POST COMPLAINING ABOUT DRAWING MY FAVS
#anyways#picking back up where those left off#now that i think about it the only ones i can draw satisfactorily are haru 😭😭#sakuyas fun to draw plus i love his color palette#same deal for citron but i also feel obligated to be able to draw them and azuma bc f/o status#itarus hair is fun#and i do love drawing that perpetual 'fml' face#i need to stare at pictures of tsuzuru every time i draw him to make sure i get his hair right but unlike with tenma it end up looking right#i have to pull up masumi refs when i draw him too bc i just CANNOT get the bleach pattern right on my own#but other than that hes a breeze#chikage gives me the most trouble#and considering sakyo and tsumugi are my biggest hair fails i think you can guess why#the glasses mess me up a little sometimes but i pretty much always draw him in the round thin rimmed ones#so unlike sakyos they dont actually get in the way of anything#and it does have a little volume to it. i just have to be careful not to give it TOO much volume yk.#idk why but i think bc of chikages facial structure its just easier for me to get his hair right compared to tsumugi#then again ive drawn tsumugi maybe once in this style so i probably just need more practice

i want to see the progression of Will's art skills with all the drawings of Mike he's done in his life
from the little cartoonish drawing of little Mike he did when he was bored at six yo through the sketches of Mike's face he secretly did when in Cali and was missing him and just wanted to remember his face to the gorgeous portrait of Mike Wheeler he spent months painting in college
#oh just imagine#mike going through all the drawings seeing how they became better and better#more and more realistic#seeing how will drew his face over and over until he learned to bring out the very last detail#how you can see the love in every stroke in every painting of him#just mike drawn and painted in different art styles and shit#some are just in pencil some are in color some are in watercolors and you can feel the love from every single one#but you can also feel the frustration from some of them because this eye shape is just not right#and will spent so much time looking at mike's face cataloguing every angle#every mole every freckle every little scar#he knows every detail so why can't his hand just do it right??#but with time it gets better and better and easier and easier to draw him#and one day it's the easiest thing in the world to draw Mike's soft smile and gentle eyes looking at him with love#because he sees that look every day and now he can unashamedly bring it on a paper or canvas over and over and over#and mike is wondering how will won't get sick and tired if drawing him#but oh Will would never#it's his favorite thing to draw and he loves doing it oh so much#this is his muse how could he ever get tired of drawing it?#byler#will byers#mike wheeler

I was looking for mikumas art so I could see it and found an amino post listing some stuff that they apparently include while drawing Fukase, including: point also has paw prints, Fukase's left eye Glows or is implied to, Fukase has a bigger version of point but they “Don't exactly look alive”, Fukase also apparently has a + symbol in his left eye? Oh and Point has a Point-sized hat to match Fukase's -🌟

I need to make a new pmd story right now or I'll explode
#rat rambles#someone I follow made some pmd ocs based on one of their pokerogue runs and Im just sitting here like why didnt I do that first fuck#I have three guys Ive been using in literally every run (because theyre my only tier 3 shinies lol) and I wanna make them ocs sooo bad#I might end up doing it but I mostly am just unsure because Id have to make some tough decisions when it comes to their designs#mainly if I stick closer to the actual colors used for the shinies or make my own pallets for them#on the one hand I Do like the colors used for them but on the other hand I wouldn't actually want this story to be too pokerogue inspired#so like Id feel bad using the pokerogue shinies for a story that ultimately has little to nothing to do with it#second biggest issue is that one of them is a golurk and god I dont wanna draw that#also one of them is a pyukumuku and thats fine by me but it does necessitate some creativity#the other two are an eevee and leavanny#although Id definitely have the eevee evolve into flareon since my best runs with him were when he was one#now tbf those also happened to be the runs I got multilense on him (one of them I got two on him) and he was able to stunlock anything#slower than him to death with bites and steal all their items with covet#Im so glad they switched eevee's passive to pick up it makes my life so much easier#simple wasnt Terrible but it was hard to use well since most of its evolutions arent strong or defensive enough to utilize it well#tbf I didnt try very hard since leavanny is my default sweeper and he learns sword dance#but eevee does make for good support early on at least even if it takes good rng for it to hold up well late game#tbf leavanny should also be in that camp but its simply built different (gets sharpness as a passive)#golurk is the real one that falls off hard tho unfortunately#which sucks because it's terrible early game and good for like five seconds mid game and then mostly terrible late game#I say mostly because god does my boy hard carry me through the final boss every time#generally a decently built leavanny with stone axe can cleave through 90% of the game but bestie gets hard countered by the final boss#I will say tho that Ive enjoyed using pyukymuku Way more than I thought I would its lowkey highkey saved my ass more time than I can count#its soooo important in pokerogue to have a stalling pokemon because youre inevitably going to need one#oh yeah I forgot to mention that eevee isnt one of the tier three shinies but my boy is the lesser of two evils amongs my tier two shinies#the other is goldeen. which I have also used in a huge chunk of my runs. it was the second shiny I got.#that guy tormented me so bad I was sitting here having to convince myself that the seaking carry was real#every now and then I get to use a better water type and I feel a surge of emotion as I remember what it feels like to use a good water type#and then I sigh and go back to seaking since I need my luck score maxxed out and I dont have space for my other tier two shines because#theyre both 5 costs
