Every Jonerys theory acts like it's stumbled onto something so profound when like half the evidence is the most basic, boring ass visual parallels (dark hair/white hair, night/day, fire/ice, blue/red), as though those aren't the EASIEST parallels to grasp onto and describe like 90% of popular het ships (most of which didn't become canon). hi hello gals and gays. Here is a rare wav from me struggling with the flu. The virus has mainly been in my chest but my entire body is so wrecked I was able to induce super easily. No talking bc I’m literally unable to 😭 Do not listen if you can't stand harsh coughing because it gets a bit rough. If it sounds a bit weird the first half of the recording is from yesterday and the second half is from today, bc the coughing is so much worse in the second half lmao. Ok that's it thankkk you for feeding me so good lately tumblr love u all <3

Long story short, YES I can see! its just verrrrrry narrow.

There's a very thin sliver of inset mesh that I painted to match that is nestled right under his nose. The hard shadow cast from his nose causes it to become borderline invisible if you're not looking for it!

The visibility isn't that great when i'm wearing it, and i think my field of view may be like... 2 feet wide and around 3 to 4 inches tall... not ideal for a busy and crowded con floor, but certainly passable. The pictures above should help show what i mean, but my phone camera is a bit myopic so it's not quite as accurate. :(

Of course, i still have a bit of peripheral vision due to the "face hider" (also know as his circuit board) not being as enveloping of the sides of my face as i would have liked or expected.

And obviously, I wasn't seeing all that well anyway due to being nearsighted and not being able to wear my glasses, heh. It was too much work to swap out my glasses with the mask all the time, so i just squinted everywhere lmaooo

I understand why people love warmer water beaches, they're gorgeous. Beautiful.

But as a person who was raised near a northern pacific coast, can confirm that nothing will ever compare to the feeling of walking in the surf of an ocean with water so cold it numbs your skin and burns your bones, the wind snatching at your clothes with icy fingers, silver overcast sky as far as the eye can see

something about sand that's smooth and chilly on your feet, and half-hidden shards of seashell, and an ocean that you know could drag you under at will

something about cliffs and rocks emerging from the mist at night, and the roar of waves, and the occasional seal that pops up between swells, the sea foam and shiny black mussels clinging to tide-beaten rocks

Idk there's something very special about beaches that are cold for a majority of the year and tbh I'd take one of those any day.
