when i was a kid i fell in love with dandelions. when i told my parents, they said they were just weeds, not flowers at all. i was always upset on the dandelions behalf- why didnt people love them too? why were they a problem when they were just as pretty?

#this story reminded me of roxas so i wanted to draw him with dandelions #this is a true story though lol #idk if this is a thing other kids did but #when we were in elementary school everyone would get excited for spring because of dandelions #we would make competitions of who could blow off the most seeds in one breath #and we called them wish flowers because you were supposed to make wishes on them when you did #but your wish would only come true if you could blow them all off at once #anyways yeah i love dandelions #i was always so pissed abt people not respecting dandelions #people never listened to me when i tried to argue on their behalf #i think it only made me love them more lol #doodles #roxas #kingdom hearts

sweaters of 2024 so far !! a creamy white ribbed cardigan w pearl buttons for my loveeee, a mottled seaglass green turtleneck for myself, and a THICK woolen midnight blue cable sweater w little starry speckles

#rly rly rly proud of them :)#i’ve made lots of other little things too!!#rust fingerless gloves and white leg warmers and socks the color of sweet peas and the forest #and and and little cotton washcloths covered w music notes for my cousin’s baby #but my sweaters r my pride n joy :))#i also started 2 other sweaters i ended up unraveling. i basically completed one w the dark blue yarn and then frogged it to make a new one #and i started a striped sweater to get rid of some of my stash of acrylic yarns but im just not that excited abt it #so it’s collecting dust in the cabinet #OH and a spring green scarf bandana triangle thing w ribbing for my gf too #i’ve been busy this year #personal #knitting

It has been 14 hours since I found out that, according to Kubo, Byakuya calls Renji by his given name "because Rukia does" and I am obsessed with this information.

This is both the best and worst possible answer to this question. I feel like if you asked Byakuya, this is exactly the reason he would give. However, if Rukia were present, she would lose her damn mind. While I do think Rukia's assertion that Byakuya didn't look at her even once in 40 years is hyperbole, over that time I can imagine Renji's name coming up in conversation once, maybe twice tops.

Like, two weeks before she goes on her fateful mission to the Living World, B's been shortlisting Vice-Captain candidates, and over dinner, real casual:

B: Rukia. You know your friend?

Rukia: My who now?

B: That friend of yours who shouts too much. The boorishly tall one. With the red hair. Is he in Squad Eleven now?

Rukia (wracking her brain frantically for people Byakuya would consider 'her friend'): You mean Renji?

B: Yes, him.

Rukia: What about him?

B: Is he in Squad Eleven? The Sixth Seat?

Rukia: ...maybe? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The next day, Byakuya's office, Renji shows up for his job interview.

B: You must be Renji.

Renji: uhhhhhhhh sure why not?
