- It doesn't take itself too seriously.

- It feels more like Xena: Warrior Princess than Game of Thrones.

- Its showrunner/head writer and lead composer are women.

- Monsters, monsters, everywhere!

- The fact that Geralt doesn't want to admit it but he's really a big softie who loves horses and baths and his BFF
