au where john doesn't go missing, dean never gets sam from stanford, and almost five years from when sam walked out on them and never looked back, dean gets a call from a sobbing woman telling him that sam's missing and she needs his help

dean and john go to palo alto where they meet jessica, an engagement ring and a thin gold band on her left hand, which is how they find out that there's one more person out there carrying the winchester name

they don't even get to linger over the fact that sam's married, that they're talking to his wife, because she tells him that he just disappeared, that she came home and he was missing but their living room was covered in sulpher

she tells him about the past two years, about how sam has been getting visions of other psychic children like him, some who had mothers that died in their nursery at six months, others that didn't. they met a lot of them, kept in regular contact, but the past few months they've been disappearing one by one and now sam's gone too

(jess keeps the telekinesis to herself, keeps the information about the demon to herself, doesn't breathe a word about the mind control or the super strength or electric shock or any of things that the other children could do that they'd been slowly testing to see if sam could do too. she's gone to dean and john because she has to but she doesn't forget that there's a reason sam hadn't gone to them when this all started happening, that instead he'd come clean to her about every lie about his life and told her to run, that something was coming for her and for him too

she hadn't run then and she won't now)

dean is losing his mind, all these things about his brother that he didn't know about and has to deal with, meanwhile john is quietly having a little mental breakdown, realizing this is the moment, where if he can't save his son then he's going to have to kill him

jess refuses to be left behind, reminds them pointedly that she's sam's wife and they're either doing this with her or not all

so dean and john have to deal with their sister in law / daughter in law tagging along and helping them track sam all while obviously not liking or trusting them an inch

ranchers au of the story of a woman who'll marry whoever can get the key off her cats neck

except it's tango, who is a magician of sorts so he's highly sought after, so he comes up with this test of whoever can get the key he'll marry. people start setting traps and whatnot. most of them tango avoids with ease, but he gets caught in one. depressed, he waits for the inevitable downfall.

only, the person who finds him isnt the one who set the trap. a man finds him, and, aghast at the sight, let's tango go. later in town as jimmy recounts this happenstance everyone around him angrily tells him off because he's squandered this perfect opportunity, and this is how Jimmy finds out about the contest.

he thinks the contest is rather upsetting, because how could someone set the whole town against a poor cat like that?

jimmy takes it upon himself to take care of the cat. he listens as people brag about traps so he can find them and dismantle them. he leaves food and fresh water out when he can, and sets up a small shelter for when it rains. he can't imagine that the cat will use it, with it looking so obviously like a trap, but he sets it up anyway.

he gets a rather negative reputation in town because of this. but instead of backing down, jimmy instead snaps back about what kind of person tango must be, to pit the whole town against an innocent animal! because of the pushback from the townspeople he gets rather righteous about his position.

his opinion is cemented further as the cat slowly learns to trust him. sometimes Jimmy rants to the cat about his neglectful and cruel owner.

time passes. many people in town give up on their endeavors. they set traps, but can't afford to check them frequently. they're too busy working. jimmy gains the cats trust and the cat hides in the shelter he built it. eventually, the cat even walks into his home.

jimmy all but adopts this cat, at this point. he feeds it, cares for it, makes sure it's safe during storms and warm on cold nights. the cat hangs around him all the time, the key dangling from its neck. it's startling, the first time the cat jumps on his lap, but jimmy rewards this trust with lots of pets and nothing else.

the cat grows bolder. it bumps it's forehead against jimmy's hand, curls up on jimmy's lap, and yowls for food at the crack of dawn. it leaves the house but never for longer than a day, always returning with an expectant gaze.

Jimmy tries to ignore the key but he grows restless. this tango guy hasn't even asked about his cat, and Jimmy's been caring for it for ages! He knows the key is to tangos house and is only for the winning suitor, but after the weather turns cold and jimmy despairs about how the cat would survive in such extreme weather without help, he takes the key and stomps up to tangos house to give him a piece of his mind.

it's a long, winding path. The cat follows him the whole way, which is odd, since the cat usually only follows Jimmy when he's safe at home. jimmy reaches the house and he knocks first, he has manners, but after no answer he unlocks it and storms in.

only, the whole place is empty. it's clean, someone clearly lives here, but there's nobody home. jimmy deflates. the cat jumps on a large cushioned chair and stares at him.

jimmy slumps over to the cat and pets it, mumbling about what to do next. he does one final sweep of the house (in jimmy's opinion, if tango wanted privacy he wouldnt have put his key on a cat!). and when he turns back to the cat, hands on his hips and ready to announce failure, his cat isn't... there. in it's place is a man with fiery red hair and a smirk firmly upon his lips.

jimmy has his moments of foolishness but he's not dense. he makes the connection. he realizes, and gapes at the man -- at tango, who's been the cat all along.

tango teases him about marriage and jimmy flusters. the two of them finally get to know each other outside of the contest and tango is firm in his reward, announcing it to the townspeople (many of which are furious at Jimmy, loudest anti-tango spokesman around, being the winner).

and jimmy and tango fall in love and live happily ever after the end.

and yes, jimmy is incredibly embarrassed about unknowingly insulting tango to his face. tango, for his part, found it hilarious and it actually endeared him to jimmy, since jimmy was so furious on the cat's behalf.

AT au where instead of Betty, it's actually FINN who sacrifices himself and makes the wish with the crown.

I've seen some au's about Simon doing this, but we're forgetting the secret third option I guess?

now obviously, the loss of Finn will have an impact on most, if not all of the citizens of Ooo. but I'd like to think that Finn's intention is to make this wish, not just for the safety of one person, but to keep all of Ooo safe and free from any more chaos. I've seen some shows where the hero "dies" on the end (though in this case, there'd be the idea that he IS still conscious and able to watch over everyone), and honestly it can be a great ending if played right.

here's how it would go down: Finn, Simon, and Betty are being digested by Golb. they're at the point where Betty and Simon have both returned to their sane, pre-Mushroom War selves and are having their reunion. Finn notices that the crown has reset, and also taking notice that he's not being "digested" because he hasn't changed all that much. he realizes that he has the chance to make a wish, make a true difference in Ooo and ensure the peace and safety of all his friends, something that he's clearly wanted through the whole series. he sees how happy Betty and Simon are now that they're reunited, and begins to put on the crown. when the tunnel opens up, he tells Betty and Simon to leave. he gives them some brief things to tell his friends and family on his behalf. he also tells them to finally get married, and to go on with their lives together. (I'd like to think he also, in Finn fashion, jokingly tells them to name their first kid after him :) )

after some coaxing, and tears, they finally give in and leave Golb. Finn makes his wish, which is "I wish for the power to keep Ooo safe", and merges with Golb in the same style Betry did (idk what he'd be called- maybe "Golbfinn"? a silly name kinda like goldfish lol). Jake would be torn, but I feel like he would also be a bit proud of Finn after a bit of grieving. as Finn said in the episode before (in canon), he used to be all about violence. and now, he's keeping the peace.

Gunther still gets the crown in this universe bc that's just funny

in the little Come Along With Me montage, we'd see the other characters rebuilding the tree house, along with the rest of Ooo that had gotten destroyed. I think they would start to worship Finn actually, he would become the hero that everyone would tell stories about, the stuff of legends. we'd also get to see the Petrigrof wedding! it also flashes forward to about a year or so later, we see that they do, in fact have a kid. a little girl named Fionna, who grows into her namesake and becomes hero- material herself.

hii margot!! i love home run! could you please tell us more about ffofa spencer and jareau reader timeline? I believe they’ve met in season 6, right? and home run happened around season 8?

i have been waiting for this one!!!!! this is their timeline for season six through eight!!!!

so technically, the first time they ever cross paths is in season 4 when Henry is born. obviously, it makes sense for j!reader to be there especially since she went to Georgetown. they don't officially meet until season 6 when reader takes JJ's spot on the team (but as a profiler) so in this specific AU, Seaver doesn't exist.

reader is 100% already smitten from the moment she meets him, but there's always this omnipresent fear of ruining the team dynamic or whatever reason reader can come up with. so in season 6 she actually gets a boyfriend, but her and Spencer remain really close friends throughout. he's also going through his whole migraine thing at the time. and then we hit the Lauren arc. i cannot disclose a lot about this because it may or may not be getting it's own fic, but they lean on each other heavy during that time.

in season 7 we obviously start with Spencer being an absolute dweeb to JJ, putting reader in the middle of it. again, i cannot disclose exactly what happens here, because it will potentially be in it's own fic. within season 7 reader breaks up with her bf and Spencer comforts her because they ended on bad terms, but Spencer is so heinously down bad for this girl that he doesn't even care that he's comforting her over another guy. there's a lot of like build up to this and they're kind of stuck in this "will they? wont they?" limbo and they're scared of ruining their friendship. when the bomb goes off in the season 7 finale, reader's in the building and Spencer freaks. they start dating shortly after JJ's wedding (which is why the line “She met Will and got pregnant and got married and you were so in love with her that you took the off-brand version just to have something.” from the ffofa 1 is so important).

that more or less brings us to season 8. home run takes place following "god complex" where they're dating and so stupid in love. their relationship is a secret at first, until something angsty happens and they come clean to everyone. i also feel it goes without saying that Maeve doesn't exist in this AU.

Okay soooo fun mash up idea that I've created recently, which is DC crosses over with The last of us part 1! (But the game version though with some parts of the show included)

So it would be like this:

Joel: Bruce (for many obvious reasons, like for example being the old grumpy, cold man who grows into the Father figure role once warming up to the kid that changes a part of his life, causing him to become more of a softy)

Tommy: Dick (the one who eventually became tired of Bruce's bull and went his own ways in the future, but reconciled after reuniting with him in their next meeting)

Sarah: Kid!Jason (the innocent kid who didn't deserve to die)

Ellie: Damian (has her attitude, stubbornness, fearless determination, shameless cussing, loyalty, humorous side but in his own way, artistic side, and stabbing skills, so he fits perfectly well. It would also be interesting that him and Bruce have no idea they're related to eachother at all, so they don't bond because of known shared blood, only because of the many things they've been through together that brang them closer overtime to being like a Father and Son, and then they find out this secret about themselves much, much later after the end of their very long journey)

Riley: Maya (not a love interest like in the game and show, but just the first good friend and a trusted sister figure to Damian who knew things well)

Tess: Diana (A well trusted and respected partner for Bruce in work)

Maria: Starfire as Dick's wife

Sam: Jon (shares that innocent vibe with Sam and just like him with Ellie, he'd be quick to want to befriend Damian and see him as the cool older kid he'd like to impress)

Henry: Kon (is young just like him and is just trying his best to keep his baby bro safe the way he believes is best, since he is the only one who can now)

Marlene: Amal (Talia's only known friend in comics, so she fits as Marlene who used to be close friends with Ellie's Mom and made the promise to always watch over Ellie for her, so here she does that for Talia with Damian)

David: Joker (both a total weird, creep that can secretly hide who they truly are whenever they felt like it for their own benefits and then reveal their horrible sides and true intentions by surprise)

Bill: Lucious Fox (because he makes Bruce's gadgets and vehicles in canon and since Bill has a skill of doing just that for himself and gives Joel a new gadget and also a needed car, he is fitted enough for the role in this way)

And then for some small details and also additional things that help make the au stand out a little more differently:

Chris will be included with Jon and Kon here just to have all the Superbros together

Mar'i and Jake exist here but are really young twins (6 years old)

When things were still normal, Bruce was married to Talia here and they both were raising Kid!Jason together. They both got separated during the event of the outbreak and never found eachother again after that

Instead of 20 years of the apocalypse, it's 14 years here instead, because Talia was already pregnant with Damian when things began going wild

Damian will be immune just like Ellie (well obviously loll), but just for a little bit of play, it's cause it actually has to do with mixed Lazarus blood in his body that saved him, which comes from a small, strange part of his brain that keeps creating and pumping it out into his veins. This was naturally passed down from Ra's always over using the pits so much for years, causing the body inside to develop and grow in becoming much stronger and different in unique ways. And Lazarus pits are gone now, so Damian is like the only source that holds it in him as the possibe cure of the world

Unlike Ellie's Mom, Talia survived the birth of Damian and lived until he was 7 after saving him from an attack in a herd of infected that they were both trying to outrun. Damian stayed always feeling heavily guilty about it ever since and blames himself, even though how it happened wasn't actually his fault (still kind of debating on this one just a little bit for small reasons though)

Jon won't be 8 like Sam from the show, he will be around his canon age from the game instead. He will also be Damian's first love instead in this au and they will both have crushes on eachother

Instead of the games original cities and other places as settings, things are set in Gotham and other known DC cities Instead

Instead of a switchblade, Damian was left with a dagger from Talia, and all collected comics in his backpack from his adventure are mangas. He also carries around old special photos of Talia and him to remember and cherishes them very much, since that's all he has left of her besides her dagger

All characters wear their own versions of the tlou outfits to fit their style better instead of just using the existing ones

One of the things Damian would never want is to get killed by a bloater the most, because they actually just kill kids with only a slap instead of tearing up their jaws like the adults, so he would feel SO humiliated if it ever happened to him too (based on how this actually happens to Ellie in the game whenever she gets caught by them because she's underage loll, which makes the bloaters look like a bully to children)

Despite killing in this au having to be done against all kinds of enemies in order to survive, Bruce never feels comfortable with it, but he does what he has to. He also has sympathy for all the infected people, usually seeing them more as victims who didn't ask to become what they are now instead of just harmful, angry creatures, but knows he can't be pity them too much, cause at the end of the day it's either him or them during encounters. He also tries taking the pacifist route whenever he sees he has the chance to in a situation where confrontations aren't actually nesscarry, allowing him to flee without notice instead, and during stealth he will choke human enemies in a way that he knows will only make them pass out and not die

Annnd I think that's probably it for now!

I also have a lot of drawings from this au that I really wanna make and also put out soon heheh and I'm also working on Damian outfits that replaces all of Ellie's, which I'm almost done with!! And if anyone maybe has questions for the au btw, feel free to ask anything!

Single Mom AU pt 3

Laia’s (Laios’) Timeline

Pt. 1 (AU Summary) Pt.2 (Name Guide) Pt. 4 (Chilchuck's Timeline)

Age 13- tried to disguise herself as a boy and join the army to escape ridicule from both her father and the other kids at school. Was caught and returned home near immediately. This resulted in severe punishments from her parents and even more social isolation from her peers. Her close relationship with her little brother, Fanil, is what got her through this dark period in her life.

Age 14- Encouraged Fanil to go to the magic school their parents have been threatening to send him to. She knew that since Fanil was their only son they didn't want to actually send him and were hoping that the threat would be enough to get Fanil to “act normal” but Laia knew Fanil could use this as an opportunity to escape and make something better of his life than inheriting their father's position.

Age 16- Reached adulthood and was married off to Dimar, the 19 year old eldest son of a wealthy merchant from their village. Dimar's family only agreed to the marriage because of Laia’s status and the chief's daughter and eldest child. While Dimar had heard of Laia's peculiar ways, he also knew she was proficient in many of the skills a “good wife” needed to have, and he considered her good looking enough to be fine with the arrangement. Laia wasn't thrilled but was raised to expect an arranged marriage and was honestly relieved that her husband seemed kind and was of a similar age.

Age 17- Her daughter, Lind, was born. It was shortly after the birth of their daughter, that Dimar's feelings towards the marriage turned from passive contentedness to resentment, as the added responsibility of raising a child with a woman he did not love began to weigh on him. Laia noticed her husband growing distant but blamed it on the exhaustion of having a newborn (despite Dimar doing little to help with Lind). 

Age 19- Dimar's resentment towards Laia and, by extension, Lind, for supposedly holding him back and saddling him with responsibility at a young age and leaving him unfulfilled boils over. He divorces Laia suddenly, leaving their village without informing anyone where he’s gone. He even, vindictively, sold their home expecting her and Lind to simply move back in with her parents. 

Laia, instead, took this as an opportunity to finally leave her village and try to make a life for herself and her daughter thats better than what she's experienced thus far. Obviously her parents were strongly against this, but being an adult now they couldn't do anything about it.

She felt only mild irritation at Dimar's action as she also felt no satisfaction with her life as his wife, had never loved him, and again, saw this as a chance for a new life 

Age 19 cont. - Made it to the Magic academy to see Fanil before she picked where to settle. Besides, Fanil had never had the chance to actually meet his niece before, which Laia wanted to remedy ASAP. 

Fanil convinced her to settle in the town next to the school so they can see each other regularly, which she did, picking up odd-jobs to fund the small apartment she was renting.

Age 22 - Odd jobs stop paying as well and living expenses get dire. Fanil suggests they start adventuring while they ask the school to look after Lind while they're gone. Laia is hesitant at first, considering Lind is only 5, but relents when Fanil asks his best friend and teacher Marcel to help them find long term babysitters for  Lind for cheap. They then join the gold stripping party.

(Marcel is EXTREMELY against this idea as he doesn't want Fanil to leave the school so close to graduation, but relents because he knows Fanil is going to go regardless, and knows that Lind being at the school means he HAS to come back. Still low-key judges Laia, whom he has never met, for being so much of a hot mess she has to “kidnap” her little brother away from his education and dump her daughter on the school.)

Age 23- Leaves the gold stripping party and forms her own party with Fanil. 

Lind, now 7, is old enough to enroll in the Magic Academy, allowing Laia and Fanil to go on longer Adventures as they don't need to go back to the school quite as often. (Both still write Lind as often as possible and visit frequently, as well as Laia sending most of her money back to Lind)

Laia discovers that Chilchuck is also adventuring for the sake of her daughters as a single mother. This happens after Chil discovers Laia quietly crying over a letter from her daughter. In order to comfort her, she explains that she understands her feelings because she has kids to look after too. However, Chil doesn't specify her daughters’ ages and tells Laia to keep her family info quiet.

Age 24 - Marcel joins the party to look after Fanil and try to convince him to come back, after a year ensuring Lind is adjusting well to the school. Decides to stay for research and Fanil.

Age 26 - Plot begins. Fanil is swallowed by the red dragon and with the weight of having her (now 9 year old) daughter on the surface waiting for her safe return, she ventures back into the dungeon with no provision to save her brother.

It's been almost a year since I wrote up this Role Swap AU, and we've had a couple significant character reveals since then so I think it's time to add to it.

Melinda takes the Yuri role, obviously. She's overly devoted and clingy with her sweet baby boy Damian (who is thirty years old), and though she likes the idea of him getting married in theory, no woman is ever going to be good enough for her tiny little baby (who is 6'2"). And unfortunately even with a cover identity as smooth as Anya's, she is a widow with a young son and from a lower social class than the Desmonds. She never stood a chance.

Publicly Melinda is "retired" from the social scene, but she maintains a broad range of contacts and is still popular enough that she could show up at any event and be welcomed. She is also not retired from anything in fact, and still works for the SSS in an administrative role.

Loid eventually manages to get her to warm up to him, as a nice young man if not as a grandson. Anya continues to never stand a chance, but at least Melinda is too classy to try and ruin her social life.

When Damian takes in the Briar siblings, they allow Melinda to think it was his own idea instead of a family agreement, which makes her more accepting. This isn't more "fake" grandchildren, this is her son being the generous caring man she knows he is!

She takes to Yor the fastest since she never had a little girl to raise before! (Yor is 14.) It helps that Yor isn't weirdly intelligent for her age like her sons and Loid and even Yuri are. She's a normal teenager surrounded by geniuses, which brings out Melinda's protective side. (Yor is still the LAST character in need of protection in the entire series.)

Though Melinda's security clearance is high enough that she knows Garden exists, she has no idea her own son is part of it, and she would be furious if she found out.

Demetrius is, and stay with me on this one, replacing the Authens. He's a former scholar whose declining mental health (PTSD) means he can't work anymore, and ends up moving in next door to the Forgers (Melinda arranged it) and helping Loid with his studies (Loid works better with someone who is blunt and straightforward).

For the last few years Demetrius was living in the Desmond family's old country house, but his condition has improved enough that he can handle other people, albeit in small doses. During the war Demetrius worked in weapons, especially bombs, and his triggers now are mostly to do with the sky and wide spaces. So the city is better for him, even though he rarely leaves his apartment except for doctor's appointments.

The public believes that Demetrius took to the countryside to write a dissertation, and since he was never very social to begin with people eventually forgot about him. His name only comes up when people are lamenting how disappointing the Desmond sons turned out to be. A reclusive bookworm and a middle manager.

Damian was never close to him either, though he did dutifully visit him twice a year while he was "convalescing." They usually didn't speak at all during these visits. Demetrius is more communicative now but he doesn't have anything to say most of the time. Damian feels awkward around him until they get to the topic of Loid's schooling and both agree, firmly, that children should be allowed to be children.

Interestingly, Demetrius's paranoia means that he correctly deduces that both Anya and Loid are a lot smarter and more calculating than they're letting on, but because he knows he's paranoid he dismisses his own observations most of the time.

Eventually he will be the second person that Loid tells about his powers.

Oooooh that one was a lot. Very sweet though! I honestly love the AUs where Shigaraki owns V.

I don't doubt that Shigaraki pays attention to all of his workers, but Dabi, I don't think he memorized your preferences for nothing.

I do love the collar as part of the uniform. Something to show that they're under Shigaraki's protection. At the same time, I do not want to know how often Shigaraki had to stop himself from staring at Dabi, wearing his collar, his colours, trusting Shigaraki to (indirectly) keep him safe.

God I hate Muscular. From what I can tell, one of the onlookers noticed Dabi safewording and since Muscular didn't react, they got security involved, which is how the information reached Shigaraki.

I honestly adore the idea that Shigaraki took over La Venus, made it reputable, but absolutely is still a criminal and employs criminals if they prove to be trustworthy and not cause trouble.

Oh, Dabi, no. Poor baby is so convinced he did something wrong, that he will be thrown out. The abandonment issues are hitting hard here. He is convinced that he did something wrong.

Shigaraki is so sweet on Dabi. Ahhh, they're so cute. On that note, Dabi is right. Shigaraki didn't have to stay the entire night and also sleep with Dabi. He didn't have to jump in through the window. But he did, because he will make sure people follow his rules or so help them God. Also, he is an absolute simp. That too.

You don't question what happens to the people who mistreat staff at La Venus, you just accept that everyone who behaves is safe there <3

Like, Compress definitely knows what goes on in the basement, and Twice does too, obviously.

I think Shigaraki watched Dabi absolutely burn Muscular's face off and fell in love all over again.

Dabi makes rational choices! Well, kind of. Taking a week off to think was a rational choice at least. On that note, I think while Shigaraki would have accepted if Dabi didn't come back and kept his distance, it would have absolutely destroyed him. Dabi would be safe, but at the same time, he would habe lost him. He would have lost him with no way of ensuring he stays that way too. Good that that isn't the timeline they live in!

Love the fact that Dabi absolutely recognizes that Shigaraki would destroy the world for him and is just immediately ready to help him, just like the others are, lol.

They're together now! Kind of! I bet they'll talk about it and then Dabi will get his own custom collar that he can wear while he isn't working ;)

This one was definitely a lot, but Shigaraki happily gave Dabi everything he needed to feel better 💕 He was 100% simping for Dabi since he showed up at the club and by the end of the story they are essentially married because Shig is never going to let Dabi go (unless he's asked, but he's gonna do his damn best to never reach that point). You nailed the sequence of events and Dabi definitely should have done more rational thinking in this story (not sleeping with someone immediately after such a severe drop) and being down for murder .25 seconds after it was offered to him as an option, but babyboy is a little unhinged too, and we (and Shiggy), love him for that

So enemies reverse villain AU where super villain Toxinelle faces off against super hero Chat Nior

Marinette is the daughter and heiress of the Agreste fashion empire. Gabriel married Sabine, oldest daughter of the Chang corporation, in hopes of expansion the brand in Asia. Meanwhile Adrien is the one born to a happy normal family from Emily and her husband, but Marinette absolutely hates Adrien since her father is pining for Emily and would prefer to adopt Adrien than to properly raise her.

FYI I was totally inspired by this song Cristina Vee sang:

Marinette grows up under the strict schedules and expectations of both her parents, she's much more cold and comes off as a bit demure (very mindful very demure jkjk) to the public. She knows that what she wants, thinks, and feels is not important in her household, as long as she keeps up appearances and can compete against her other cousins successes between her hyper competitive two faced relatives on the Chang side of her family.

(minor aside: NGL as someone coming from an Chinese immigrant household, the cannon Chinese Chang-family dynamics are Hella unrealistic IMO, what I could guess of Toxinelle's version seems more realistic and goddamnit I'm exploring that in this AU idea)

She became super closed off and selective and calculative of her words because of how careful she had to be around her relatives, one mis spoken phrase or word and she would be ripped to shreds, note: she was also forced to be perfectly fluent in Mandarin as well. With cultural differences, and especially as both a "foreigner" and the daughter of a daughter, the Chang family pretty much dismisses and cuts off Sabine and Marinette. The rest of the relatives view Sabine as someone who threw away their culture to move to the west/France, who thinks she's too good for the rest of them who choose to stay in China, and they view Marinette as being spoilt (which is rich (heh rich) coming from them since they're all second generation rich kids) for being brought up living the "cushy" life abroad.

Meanwhile on the Agreste side, she and Sabine were never really accepted since obviously neither of them have the classic Agreste family resemblance and her parents marriage was for political/business reasons. Gabriel meanwhile also doesn't really care or do anything about that. (Not really sure what to make of the relationship dynamic between Marinette and Felix?)

Marinette absolutely hates Gabriel, she thinks he's cheating on Sabine, with his old flame Emily. (Reality is that Gabriel tried to but Emily was having none of it, he choose his business plans over her and she certainly was not going to lower herself to become someone's mistress and a homewrecker even if it was a loveless political/business marriage. Honestly this is worse because Gabriels would be a cheating scumbag if Emily weren't so firm) Even though she has a rocky relationship with Sabine in this AU and she knows her mother doesn't care, it's the principles and disrespect to the family and the humiliation it brings on both her and her mother that pisses her off (the tabloids have a field day every time and it certainly doesn't help their standing in the Chang family).

Gabriel also doesn't care to hide his anger issues in front of either her or Sabine (since he never loved either of them, he's always regretted leaving Emily, and they're both just a reminder of the bed he made himself and had to lie in). Marinette hates it but she knows deep inside that she's terrified of him. She freezes up on the inside but tries to play it off as if she doesn't care and is blank faced. The blank face mask works for a while but it actually further infuriates Gabriel and he keeps going untill he does manage to make her crack. Sabine does fight argue back but never comforts Marinette more than telling Marinette that Gabriel tooootallly cares about her underneath it all and that she under no circumstances should rebel against him

Marinette's plan is to pretend to stay as the doll-like heiress and continue doing as both parents/families dictate while she secretly takes over more of the Agreste empire (she starts with modelling, she expands into creating her own side fashion design brand and tries to cut off control from the main brand/her father, one route is to have her take over the main line using hers if it's possible in the future) (she has no chance with the Chang family, they're all but outcasts). But she's also too nervous deep down inside to make major moves currently.

Tldr: she's scared trapped and angry but has learnt to be calculating and has an ice queen mask thanks to her shitty family

(Note: I don't want to make her self pitying, I think she would know that she has a super comfortable life in terms of superficial materialistic means, and since she has never known what it's like to have real meaningful connections that aren't toxic there's not anything to make her miss that, but that doesn't stop her from all the negative emotions she has including hating her relatives, father and herself for being weak)

In this AU Adrien is still the son of Emily but between her and another normal guy (whom she loves, she was healthy and moved on unlike Gabriel). His family are pretty well off and does run in some of the same circles as the Agreste family (which is how Emily and Gabriel still know eachother) but they're relatively a normal and loving family (compared to the Agreste-Chang household). The only issue is Gabriel, which has caused a couple arguments between Emily and her husband but in the end her husband trusts her and the three of them weather the paparazzi shit storms together. There has been a few times where Gabriel tries to barge in and get to know Emily's son, but Adrien hates him and Emily is pissed off about this and tries to stop those whenever she can.

This has the knock on effect of Marinette absolutely hating Adrien out of jealousy (even though she doesn't want her father's approval actually but it's the principle of the situation). Adrien feels sorry for Marinette but they're not close at all (in the same course at university but that's it) so he doesn't say anything to her (he thinks it probably would come off as weird). He's also a bit intimidated by her stone face and cold facade, and he's put off by how she's friends with Chloe

Chloe ends up trying to suck up to Marinette and tells everyone they're besties. Marinette doesn't care for Chloe much as she thinks it's to use her, and it was at first but then Chloe actually came to admire her (for her poise, calm calculating nature, and for all the things she works for like the modelling and her business) and became sincere in trying, in her awful fucked up spoilt rich kid way, to be real friends. Chloe is a friend simp for Marinette

Meanwhile, with superhero/villain side of the AU:

This AU Gabriel is still after the miraculous but this time to rewind time to get back Emily. (Gabriel big incel dumbass energy)

Marinette (as Toxinelle, could be another name but I'll go for that for now) doesn't know this is the goal, she's just forced to in the situation, and is against her will Akumatised (but still has some of her consciousness) to do as Gabriel commands.

She only became a super villain under Gabriel/Hawkmoth's direction. She has no choice and she knows who it is. He choose her since he can easily sense the crazy insane amount of negative emotions around her and it's perfect because she's his most powerful minion. Marinette hates it because it's just another way she's trapped, but is slightly apathetic to what she's actually doing since she's only seen the worst in people so far in life and there's no real friends to show her that not everyone is like that.

Chat Nior has no partner in this world and usually faces off against Toxinelle. He hates her because she's harming people, but Toxinelle doesn't really care about Chat Nior since she's just here because she has to. Slowly Chat realises she doesn't want to do it but they he gets frustrated that she doesn't try to break free from Hawkmoth, he doesn't understand. That annoys Toxinelle because she doesn't want to listen to his preaching and prying, she prefers when they don't speak to eachother and just tried to kill eachother

Toxinelle + Adrien: Uses him as hostage or something one day (trying to test out a plan against Gabriel) and is very aggressive against him. He gets suspicious, asks if she knows him (maybe she lets slip something only close people know about him as well? Bit it's mostly just how weirdly personally she seems to hate him?). She retorts that she's cruel to everyone, she's a supervillain for crying out loud. But inside she tries to talk to him less since she doesn't want to give him clues. Because of this Adrien becomes more talkative trying to weedle out any information he can from his enemy (her goal, if he can convert her).

They meet more. Either she ends up make a couple of visits to Adrien to test things for her plans or it's whenever he detransforms after a scuffle and he "bumps" into her. She realises she enjoys the banter a bit but doesn't like that since she still hates him. She's forced to put up with him because she wants to use him in her plan against Gabriel, and Adrien realises she's holding back for some reason and takes advantage of that. He teases her saying he noticed how she hasn't torn his head from his shoulders yet, could it be the nastiest supervillain in Paris fell for his charms. Toxinelle tells him there's still time for her to change her mind. Their banter goes from trading barbs to more friendly teasing (as friendly as Toxinelle gets at least).

Wayyyy later when they become friends (not that they admit it believe it themselves, and it's still super complicated for Toxinelle), they both feel bad about using eachother (Adrien for information on her, Toxinelle for her future plans)

Marinette + Chat Nior: When Marinette detransforms Chat thinks she's caught up in the aftermath and tries to make sure she's okay (he feels guilty towards her so is try to keep an eye out for her). Marinette has to be cordial to not give away her identity and through that ends up enjoying talking with Chat when they're not fighting. She likes Chat more than Adrien at this point so she's more open to talking.

Maybe Chat comes to regularly check in on her later on (since she keeps getting caught up in the aftermath for some reason haha how unlucky), and after a while Marinette thinks they would've been good friends in another world where they weren't enemies.

After a very long time, she admits that Chat is the closest friend she has.

Here's my current fic ideas--all of these are up for grabs to whoever wins my @marveltrumpshate auction. (Gonna do these in a few reblogs)

Fic Idea:

Steve and tony are outted by the press 6 months into a healthy happy relationship and it takes less than 2 months for them to fall apart due to the pressure and scrutiny. How they find their way back and manage leading the Avengers is a bit messier and takes longer.

Fic Idea:

Bucky has a one night stand before he goes to war. He goes missing in action and months later, Steve is sent his personal belongings. Including letters from an omega he's never heard of, named Tony, sending pictures of a pretty baby. Bucky's baby.

Steve finds Tony--if for no other reason, than to tell him about Bucky and to meet what amounts to his nephew. But he realizes how broke Tony is, alone and disowned and trying to finish school. Maybe Tony didnt mean much to Bucky--no one ever did--but he smells like home and safety, like everything Steve didn't know he wanted. And Peter fits, in his arms, a way nothing ever has. It's easy, to welcome them into his home, to help them. It's even easier to fall in love.

And then--Bucky comes home, and finds the pretty omega he barely remembers in his brother's clothes and home, and holding a baby.

Fic Idea:

Howard finds Steve in the early seventies. He marries Peggy but she's killed and he's left lost and angry and without any real purpose. Until Howard calls and asks for a favor. His son has been getting in trouble and could use a bodyguard.

Fic Idea:

After Endgame, Steve and Tony are together and life is good but there's the small matter of the cults that have sprung up worshiping them. Because Steve wielded the power of a god and Tony wielded the Gauntlet. And people are trying to process that so cults.

Fic Idea:

Today I'm thinking about that fic I started, in which Tony is an Omega in need of an Alpha chaperone at MIT and Rhodey takes the job. And then, when Howard & Maria die, Bonds with Tony so he can inherit SI and not be forced to Bond with Obie.

So for twenty odd years, it's very common knowledge that Tony Stark is Bonded to his college 'sweetheart' Rhodey, and then--Steve shows up and Tony falls head over heels for him and that's 100% mutual but TONY HAS AN ALPHA OH NOS!

And Tony can't figure out why Steve who is OBVIOUSLY into him won't make a move, even when he's in heat and throwing himself at Steve, until Steve explains, a little confused and a lot conflicted, that he's not gonna steal another Alpha's omega, and James deserves better.

And that's when Tony calls Rhodey from the other room and says, hey baby, do you mind if I break our Bond to get with Steve and he's like, FUCKING FINALLY, DUDE! And Steve finds out that it was only ever a platonic Bond because Rhodey would literally do anything for his bestie.

Fic Idea:

The PR agent responsible for Steve getting a Twitter is also responsible for every time he gets fighty online, which happens every time Tony is insulted. Tony is DELIGHTED he isn't PR's problem child anymore.

Fic Idea:

Tony watches WWII unfolding and knows that something is necessary to help win, so he sends a piece of himself to earth--the Tesseract. And when that's not enough, he falls, giving up his place with the stars, to help humanity.

And then he meets Steve, and uses his fading power--he's dying but he's not going to tell any of them that--to power Project Rebirth. I think probably too he's part of why Steve survives the ice, but I need to work on that.

Fic Idea:

Dragon rider SteveTony AU.

They're from different clans. But they're forced together because of blah blah reasons (oh maybe the dragons are mating?) And Tony loathes Steve who is a big damn hero his father won't shut up about. And maybe he's projecting a little--

He wasn't supposed to Bond with a dragon, he isn't supposed to even be here--but he's never going to live up to Cap's expectations, not the guy who rewrote the rules on dragon bonds and single handily turned the course of the war.

Steve meanwhile cant get a single word out because gosh Tony is pretty and smart and when he rides his dragon--🤯

Their dragons would Very Much Appreciate if the idiot humans would get their shit together.

Fic Idea:

Steve never had a soulmate. Never had a mark. But one night in late may, he wakes up to a burning on his arm and his name in almost illegible scrawl. Howard calls and tells him about the birth of his son the next day.

He goes to see the baby a week later and holds Tony and he can see it, his words too large on Tony's little chest, but he murmurs them anyway. It's terrifying and everything he wanted and Tony is a BABY so he puts the kid down and swears to himself to keep his distance.

But he has a half formed bond with Tony and he doesn't always stay away and then when Tony is two--he's brilliant but talks late--he says 'steeb' at a Christmas party. It's his first word and it completes the bond. Tony grows up with it. He never realizes that they're soulmates.

Because he was so tiny when they bonded and it's all he's ever known and Steve is convinced he can't be with Tony and Tony--wants nothing to do with the nameless faceless person responsible for his words, he just wants Steve.

Fic Idea:

Steve is a successful happy security contractor. He's kinda slutty but that's ok, he's not hurting anyone and he's always honest. And then one day he gets an email that he's pretty sure isnt for him but intrigues him anyway.

Tony is miserable. His company is on the verge of collapse, he hasn't talked to his best friends in years, and his husband is a distant asshole--and those are the good days. He emails a private investigator and somehow ends up contacting a security contractor instead.

isn't a working number, hell it doesn't even have enough numbers--they keep talking. And Steve maybe stops sleeping around because Tony, Tony is fascinating. Tony smiles more, even if sneaking around is dangerous.

And there are things that are…off. little bits of conversation that is just a little bit wrong. Not enough to concern them. Eventually they decide to meet, Tony's husband be damned. But when they go to the coffee shop they agree on--there's no one waiting.

And through the argument and hurt,they finally peace it together. They're in parallel universes.

More THOUGHTS: ok but when they realize this it spooks them both and they kinda retreat from each other. But. They both look, in their worlds. Tony find a Steve Rogers but he died as a little boy. He didn't have a best friend to protect and help him. Steve find Tony too.

He was killed by a buisness rival a few weeks after his father's death. Vanko is still in prison for it, but--Tony is still dead. It terrifies him, losing that Tony without ever knowing him, and it drives him back to his Tony, desperate to know he's safe.

It's heartbreaking because they're so close to each other, but they're universes apart, too, and Tony can't tolerate that. Won't. He's a genius, even if Ty's abuse broke him and made him small, and he's willing to try, if it means making his way to Steve.

Goldenheart AU Pt. 2

[Part 1]

I'm gonna talk about why the Director/Livia (I'll be calling her Livia because calling her "Director" feels weird in this AU (she doesn't deserve a name but oh well)) doesn't want Goldenheart/Boldloin to be a thing

Just for fun, I'll also talk a bit (I say while writing a whole book) about the band members' backstories

Livia's reasons of not wanting Ambrosius and Ballister to get together comes down to three things: Social Classes, Influence and Reputation

Even though Ballister is doing pretty well thanks to his band, his family is essentially part of the Lower-Middle Class; he had some trouble when it came to getting education and his parents had a low income.

Ambrosius on the other hand is part of the Upper-Upper Class; a good portion of the Goldenloins' money is "old money" which has been passed through generations in his family thanks to their very successful company

For the influence part. The Goldenloins have an absurd amount of influence in a lot of stuff, and Livia worries that Ambrosius marrying someone like Ballister, who kind of has influence in the music industry but not much, will change the way other see him and will then make other companies trust them less (they aren't influenced much by him) which would send the company tumbling to the ground

Reputation now. The Goldenloins' reputation is interesting to say the least. They're known to indulge in their company a lot, making changes to raise profits and all in all just keep it at the top, but they're also known to be snob and kind of rude. Something that's interesting about Livia, Valerin and Ambrosius is that none of them fall in the same categories

Livia is the snob one. She is always seen following Valerin around and is often the one sent to attend meetings when Valerin isn't available. She says her decisions are for the good of the people, but often makes them because she does not wish for the lower/middle class people to gain more money and cause this whole social class thing to fall

Valerin is exceptionally kind and spends a portion of her work looking into helping the lower/middle class people, but she still spends most of her time concentrating on the company because she believes her status and money is what allows her to have such influence and therefore allows her to help the lower/middle classes

Ambrosius falls into none of the two categories. He is kind and charming and doesn't mind stopping to talk to kids who are curious about "his work" (he doesn't have the heart to tell them he doesn't own the company yet) contrary to Livia who will more often than not glare at them and keep walking (that's just an example). Ambrosius also believes that although keeping the company running is important, keeping on top isn't. His main idea for when he inherits the company is to make a few changes that will benefit the lower/middle class people only without lowering the upper class people. He basically just wants to start slowly removing social classes until everyone is around the same level when it comes to education, money and food because he made a friend who lived in bad conditions (Ballister) and wants to change society to make it a better place for people who had similar struggles as him

Obviously, Livia doesn't like Ambrosius' idea, so when she realizes Bal is actually just Ballister (shocking, I know) she is convinced he put those ideas in Ambrosius' head and basically tries to foil their relationship to make sure Ambrosius doesn't "ruin" everything his ancestors have built

Now onto the band. In the first part, @echoing-locations talked about how they thought The Shifters (band) could be a three person band with Nimona, Bal and Meredith Blitzmeyer (character from the comic) and I loved that idea

Nimona would definitely play the drums. Hitting something on repeat to make a beat, it fits them so wonderfully. At first I wanted to make Bal the lead singer, but I think the both of them sing their own songs throughout the shows and have occasional songs they sing together

Bal definitely plays bass. I have no idea when or from where this idea came to me, but I think it just fits.

Then I was struggling with how Meredith would fit into the band, which instrument she would play, especially considering she's this kinda weird scientist in the comic, but I eventually decided she works more backstage, with the lights, making sure the mics, bass and drums work, and everything else that needs to be done backstage

So I had written down what I wanted for the band members' backstories but I lost my notes and my memory is shit so I'll do another part about that when I either find my notebook or write down new ideas.

I stumbled upon your selkie au fanart and i must say, I LOVE how the art's body language foreshadows what will happen. Jon's body language is open and he is relaxed and the look in his eyes is trusting.

Elias's smile doesn't reach his eyes and they are cold. The way he looks at Jon is predatory and calculating.

Ough thank you!! i at some point planned on writing parts of it but im a slow writer and my interests jumps between aus so quickly ;;

lemme give a quick little idea of what happens since i dont remember how much ive said or if ill do more art for it in the future,,,

basically Elias meets Jon and gains his trust by approaching him in an academic way. Jon is curious about humans, so despite all his warnings about them he humors Elias and they share information about their species. eventually Elias convinces Jon to return with him to london after telling Jon all about how amazing human cities are. he also convinces Jon to let Elias safeguard his coat (he acts like many humans will be interested in stealing it and only Elias will be able to protect it). Jon is simultaneously extremely interested in london and also completely overwhelmed by all the sounds and people. he lives with Elias and is pampered by him, taught to read (he learns he loves books), given clothes (which he hates), and treated to good food (hes mixed on this). Jon does start to fall for Elias and willingly starts a relationship with him but eventually he decides he misses the ocean and wants to go home but yeah ~surprise~ Elias was never going to give Jon his coat back. he had just hoped Jon would like living with Elias enough that he would choose to stay of his own free will. Elias forces Jon to marry him all while promising that he'll adjust to this life eventually.

Jon is obviously enraged by this and tries everything he can to escape at first. this part of the au is the least fleshed out but suffice to say Jon is rather miserable and depressed. he spends a lot of his time in their library and finds a book that talks about the ocean and has photographs in it which he looks at for comfort. Elias does bring him for a trip to see the ocean but its not where hes from and he doesnt allow Jon his coat to transform so its bittersweet.

(a good amount time passes between these two points and theres a good amount of up and down in their relationship. elias lovebombs jon a lot and tries to make him happy but is not willing to let go of his control over jon's life. jon kind of accepts that he wont be free and tries to make the best of his situation but hes still pretty homesick and depressed)

Elias gets frustrated that Jon can't just be happy with what he has (he had rather grandiose and unrealistic expectations for their marriage) and vents to Peter about it. He's more under the delusion that they're just having a marital spat and Jon will come around eventually but Peter tells him that selkies will never be tame and Jon will fight him till one of them dies. Elias wants to prove to Peter that Jon does love him so he brings him back to where he found him and gives him his coat back, sure that Jon will choose to stay with him buuuut. he runs

in the fic there was going to be a timeskip of about a year (maybe even ending there and then having a sequel) here where Jon eventually returns to where he met Elias and finds a package elias left him with their rings, some letters, and a couple of Jon's favorite books. he realizes that he misses his old life.. at least part of it. the sea is freedom but its also very lonely. he doesnt actually think he'll ever see Elias again but he comes back on the year anniversary of Jon leaving to reminisce and leave the rest of Jon's things as a symbol of moving on. I was going to have them work on things and have Jon come back to the relationship on his own terms with his own rules

is Elias actually changed in the end? honestly im not sure I didnt think that far. It definitely could go the way of being a cycle of abuse and i think he'd have to work quite hard to break his negative behavior. though tbf the Elias in this au isn't Jonah magnus (meaning he isn't a regency body-hopper not that he is OG Elias). this whole summary is only talking about the relationship A plot which was going to coincide with some Lovecraftian inspired occult mystery stuff : D (which isnt fleshed out at all other than i wanted those vibes)

Horror House Horror Prison!

Warnings: Like two gore mentions.

First of all, prison is not co-ed, so Chucky and Tiffany are separated- Though they are married, so they get conjugal visits. It is the worst day for everyone in the male prison, because Chucky comes back all smug and they all wanna kill him 😅.

Freddy is on constant suicide watch, because if he dies he can get back in the dream world and that make him very difficult to imprison 😅

No one fucks with Jason there (Apart from other Slashers), because he is huge and everyone knows better. Billy tries to stick around him for that reason XDD While Stu on the other hand has no problem because he's tall and fun and other prisoners just like him XD He makes prison fun! He befriends them and compliments their tattoos/crimes! Basically he's a natural there, extrovert that he is XDD

So yeah, Stu has a bunch of scary crime friends now and Billy is on very thin ice with them.

Bubba also sticks with Jason- but because he loves him, not because he needs him. Other prisoners will pick on him but no one actually touches him because he would go berserk.

Michael also doesn't get bothered but its not because of his size, obviously, he's not large- its because on the first day there he ripped someone's ear clean off their head. People give him a wide berth, apart from other Slashers (Unfortunately. Michael would love it if they would leave him be too but they always sit with him 😒😒 😅😅).

Michael, siting at lunch alone: 😑(But peaceful) Michael, when Jason sits down with his entourage (Bubba and Billy): 😑 (But frustrated) Michael, when Stu sits down, long legs knocking his own under the table: 😑 (But irritated) Michael, when Jerry, Pat and Pennywise sit down: 😑 (But questioning. Jerry, Patrick and 'Tad' (The name Pennywiseis under, pretending to be human so he can hang out in prison 🤣🤣) also hang out with the Slashers most of the time, but they're more independent.

Jerry is constantly fed only the tiniest bit of blood- enough to keep him 'living' but not powerful enough to escape. And he cant drink from anyone else around, because all the water has been blessed.

Also Jerry usually has the prison gossip. He walks around and charms people and they tell him what's going on (Who's coming in, who's leaving, who plans to shank Freddy or leave dog food in Chucky's bed later) and that is his addition to the group.

Patrick is pretty quiet here. He doesn't know how this happened. He was faking it so well! He covered his tracks! For this reason he kinda blames the Slashers though, because they dunno how to control themselves and got them all locked up for it (Which is true). Goes into rages and gets sent to isolation quite a bit.

Freddy is constantly bothering Pennywise about getting them out but Penny is just having so much fun here! Soooooo many fears... so many dark secrets... Its delicious.

Bubba gets really badly written letters from Drayton, Chop Top and Grandpa. Chucky and Freddy usually read them for him (I know, so nice. But they're nosy okay?? XD Allow me this). Jerry will read it if they blow him off though ^^

Michael gets visits from Dr Loomis and it can basically one of two ways- either the two men just sit there and glare at eachother for 45 minutes or Michael sits there and Dr Loomis lectures him for 45 minutes.

Okay over to the women's side of the prison!!

Just like her son, who takes after her obviously, Pam is the Big Boss and no one fucks with her around there. One sniff of disrespect and you will get a spoon in crammed down you throat.

Speaking of her son- Pam sends message with Tiffany to give to Chucky to pass son to Jason. She doenst truly trust that Chucky is doing his part-- but she has to believe ^^

And Pam is not the only one using Tiffany and Chucky's conjugal visits for her own gain XD Jennifer uses them to find out if anyone has been shanked. She has a betting pool going on with herself XD So Tiffany is just super happy, getting to go see her husband, and then Pam and Jennifer pop up just to harass her like

oh my gosh nonny you asked this a million million years ago and boy do I EVER

Modern AU neighbors starts out when they're apartment neighbors and become friends through any number of fun means such as:

WWX cooking disaster that sets off the building fire alarm -> JYL offering to teach him

both of them surreptitiously caring for the sad little abandoned plants on the roof

they're in some sort of class together and then realize they're neighbors and become study buddies

Eventually they're in and out of each other's apartments and lives so often that it just makes sense for one day Jiang Yanli to ask "Would you ever want to buy a house?" And they find one that needs some love but has great bones, so they buy it and fix it up and have a big housewarming party for all their friends and get a cat and grow flowers and tomatoes and way too many zucchini out back. The garden is a riot, but well-loved, and their home is always full of life.

(Jiang Cheng is very suspicious of Wei Wuxian at first, convinced he's playing some kind of weird long con on his sister. He comes around eventually when he realizes they just... make each other happy.)

They know they both adore kids, and eventually Jiang Yanli confides that she'd like to try to get pregnant. There is a brief and hilarious moment of uuuuhhhhhh before she goes, "I wanted your opinions on a donor, Wei Wuxian," and then he's like OH!!! and then oh my GOSH he's just the most supportive partner all through her prenatal checkups and morning sickness and weird cravings and scent aversions and other indignities of growing a whole person in your body. It's weird and it's hard, but she's so so excited to be a mom on her own terms.

And then about a month before she's due, Wei Wuxian comes home late one day from his afterschool program (he's a middle school art teacher in this AU; the baby's nursery is MAGAZINE worthy) with this kinda shellshocked kid in tow all, "So I know it's not the best timing, but Xuanyu needs a place to stay, at least for a little while, and—"

"—and obviously our home is open as long as they'd like." It's not even a debate. (Jiang Yanli knows he's been worried about Mo Xuanyu for months, and neither of them have ever been one to turn away someone in need.)

So then she has baby A-Ling, who is the most perfect child ever born, according to his uncle, who is over all the TIME, which works out perfectly once her maternity leave is up. Mo Xuanyu stays with them and absolutely flourishes in a home where they can be themself. Wei Wuxian paints a brand new mural on their fence every spring, and their garden is still wild but they've learned what grows well, and occasionally he gets to tell off some nosy person who makes assumptions about their domestic arrangements, which is very fun for him. They're all just... very happy. It's a home full of love.

And because I cannot resist torturing Jiang Cheng just a little bit, a few years down the road, while he's tearing his hair out over his wedding arrangements — "I have planned a thousand of these, but I somehow cannot get my in-laws to accept that the fucking peonies will be OUT OF SEASON" — Jiang Yanli lets slip that she and Wei Wuxian have been technically married on paper for over a decade. So then he gets to be performatively outraged about not getting to plan her wedding — "We didn't want a wedding, didi, that was the whole point of not telling anyone" — which makes him feel better, because Jiang Yanli understands her little brother.

SO YEAH. QPPs Jiang Yanli and Wei Wuxian. 10/10 here for it!!!

I love this so much! If you can't tell, Lemon is one of my favourite characters to write so far. He's such a sweetheart I love him.

Lemon x GN! Reader Bubble Tea Shop AU

Notes; I realized halfway through that this was starting to look very similar to another lemon x reader that also just so happens to be a bubble tea shop au sorta thing, so I just wanna clear up that I'm not purposely "stealing," ideas or work and I'm basing it off of the request.👍

Warnings; One swear word is about it, this is sort of a 'the-twins-are-off-of-work' sort of thing, so no violence, blood, or death in this fic.

You were currently working in a small Bubble Tea Cafe, it was fairly popular amongst the teens that lived within the area, but you still had some adults show up there too that were regulars. But there were so few of them that you could name them off the top of your head; Matthew, Edmund, Olive, Hannah, Ella, Jane, Jim, Scott, and the most particular name of them all, Lemon.

Olive and Hannah were best friends, Jim was a buissiness man, Jim and Scott were married to eachother, you didn't know much about Ella and Jane, and Lemon sometimes came in with his brother, Tangerine, and always got the same order.

Lemon in particular was your favourite customer to serve, he would typically come around the quieter hours that the Cafe was open, he was simple with his order, and he was funny and kept a conversation when you would make his drink, something that most people don't do either because they think its bothering or because they're on their phones.

You'd much rather people talk to you than they be on their phones.

You hadn't known much about him except that he has a brother obviously, that he's about the same age as you, and most importantly that he loves Thomas and Friends.

That's what you two would typically talk about when he came around. Though you could tell that his brother wasn't very fond of it whenever he came with him due to the annoyed look on his face. He was typically pretty quiet for the most part though.

You were currently washing the blenders off so you could have clean ones for the next customers that wanted a blended order.

Ding!

You finish drying your hands so you could get to the customer, only to turn around and find Lemon with his brother. Tangerine had that grumpy look on his face he always had, whilst Lemon had a large grin on his.

"Oh, hey guys, its always a pleasure to see you two, I'm going to assume the same thing today right?" You say, quickly making your way to the order station.

"Great to see you too, Y/n. I think I'm gonna try something different today though," Lemon says, looking at the menu.

"Alright, cool. What about you Tan, same thing?" You say, leaning on the counter.

"Yeah just the coffee bubble tea," Tangerine replies.

"Alright, Lemon, have you decided yet?" You look at him.

"What do you recommend," Lemon asks, a nervous look on his face.

"Ooh, well my favourite is the Jasmine tea with coconut milk and the jelly cubes. Its fairly herbal and fruity so I think you might like it," You say.

You could see Tangerine snicker slightly before Lemon gives him a hard nudge at his ribs with his elbow.

"Yeah I'll have that," Lemon says.

You turn around to go and make the two their drinks, them bickering at eachother before it eventually stops. This wasn't odd behaviour for the two, they seemed to fight quite often actually, so you've just learned to ignore them.

"Y/n, darling, can I tell you something," You hear Tangerine say from behind you.

"Uh, yeah sure," You say, slightly confused.

Tangerine wasn't much one to talk, at least not when he was in the shop. And when he would talk to you it was just to give you his order, which was slightly unnecessary being he got the same thing everytime. So why is he talking to you now?

"Alright, you've got to really promise not to say anything to Lemon though because he'd try to kill me,"

"Um, alright?" Now you were even more confused, what does he have to say that can't be told to Lemon?

"Okay, Lem's got a little bit of a thing for you. Never told me directly but all he ever does is go on about you constantly. If he's not trying to get fuckin' Thomas and Friends into the conversation, he's trying to get you into it," He says, in a hushed tone.

You freeze up for a second, you could feel your face and ears rapidly starting to go red.

You'll admit, Lemon was a very handsome man. He was always very well dressed, he was nice and funny, and he had that cheeky smile that could be contagious to anyone, except for Tangerine apparently.

You didn't say anything until you finished the drinks and place them onto the counter in front of him, still letting Tangerine's words process into your mind.

"Do you really think he fancies me?" You ask, furrowing your eyebrows.

"Why? Do you fancy him?" Tangerine asks, raising an eyebrow, an amused smirk forming on his lips.

"P-possibly," You stutter out, the same heat burning the tips of your ears and your cheeks.

He didn't say anything, just paid for the drinks and left with a cheeky grin on his face.

It had been a few days since the twins had last come to the shop. It wasn't like Lemon came everyday but it worried you now being what you told Tangerine.

You were currently on your lunch break, sitting in the staff room while your co-worker was up for his shift. You munched on your sandwich and read a book to pass the time.

When it was finally up you placed your white apron back on and placed your book back into your bag, then going back into your station.

You wiped the countertop down to get rid of any wet spots your co-worker forgot to clean.

Ding!

You turn around to see none other than Lemon come in.

"Ah, Lemon! Great to see you!" You exclaim, sounding a bit more ecstatic than you would've liked.

"Do you want the same thing or something different today?" You ask, a smile on your face.

"I think I'll try something different again," Lemon says, twiddling with his fingers.

"Alright, you need time to think?" You ask.

"No, I think I've got it," Lemon replies.

"Alright, go on ahead,"

"How about a date?"

"What?" You say, taken aback.

"A date. I would like a date with you," He repeats, a twinge of nervousness in his voice.

You could feel your face burn up again once more. Curse your easiness to fluster so quickly.

"You don't have to say yes or anything its your ch-"

"I'd love to," You say, cutting Lemon off, silently cursing yourself for not letting him finish.

"R-really?" Lemon stutters, an awestruck look on his face.

"Really," You reply back.

Lemon grins widely, "Great, here's my number," He says, taking a small yellow post it out of his pocket.

"Did you have that piece of paper ready for if I said yes?" You giggle, taking it gingerly from his hand.

"Maybe," He says, sheepishly.

You chuckle before reaching next to the cash register to grab a pen and paper to write your phone number down for him. You draw a little smile face down next to your name before handing the paper to him.

"I'll text you soon," Lemon says, giving a wink before leaving the Café.

You could see him walk to his car, Tangerine in the drivers seat, as he excitedly opens the car door and shows Tangerine the piece of paper you'd given him. Tangerine gives him a smile before starting the car up and driving off.

You wondered if Tangerine told Lemon what you'd said. You'll ask him about it eventually.

Okay so this took me a bit to think about because Elayna? With a happy ending? lol. lmao even. Genuinely I would think of something that would keep Elayna happy, and then like. Ten terrible things have to happen for that one thing to occur, and twenty awful things come from that one good thing

Okay. I'm going to be honest. I had to really think if Jaenna/Aemond lives or not. Because if Jaenna/Aemond lives then like. It's a polycule but like. If this is specifically Elayna and Tyland. Uuuuuggghhhhh this was such a hard choice because of so many factors

This is the canon compliant one. There's a couple other options in several AUs I have

I'm going with Aemond instead of Jaenna. Aemond and Elayna do get married and have the twins, Aelon and Reynard. Unfortunately Aemond dies. After Aegon executes Rhaenyra, Elayna returns to KL a widow and like. She knows she'll probably end up being married off to some Lord or other. Tyland obviously makes it back to KL, and Elayna and Tyland reunite

I'm gonna be honest. The longer I think about, the more I realize Elayna and Tyland probably have sex for the first time at this point. Because they've both experienced a lot of tragedy, and Elayna is super vulnerable, and like. It's also absolutely "I thought you died" sex. Which Elayna does promptly feel guilty about, and she tries to pick a fight with him. That also ends with them having sex because Elayna thinks a hate fuck is what she wants, and Tyland plays into it initially. Until he pins her down and tells her no, he doesn’t hate her, and he's not going to give her what she wants until she's honest with herself. Naturally this leads to Elayna having a full blown confession because she feels she should hate him but doesn't. And then they have ridiculously soft sex to the point of being romantic

I don't think Elayna or Tyland suggest the marriage, I think the Council decides on it because like. Elayna does have to stay in KL because Aelon and Reynard are Targs. Plus having Elayna marry into the Lannisters assures the Westerlands Elayna isn't going to try and start another civil war

Elayna and Tyland talk about it, and Tyland is absolutely willing to find a way for Elayna to get out of it. Until Elayna confesses he's the person she trusts the most right now

Elayna and Tyland's wedding ends up being a huge deal because it's the first big wedding the Realm has because Tyland is Hand at this point. They don't have a bedding ceremony because Tyland knows Elayna being exposed and vulnerable around people would kill the mood for her

I'm thinking Elayna confesses she loves him mid-sex. Oops. Mostly because she truly trusts him at this point. And Elayna is a romantic at heart even if she sometimes expresses it in... unusual ways sometimes

Elayna probably ends up pregnant not too long after? Because with how many people died there's extra pressure to produce heirs AND there's like... at least 5 years of UST between them at this point. Tyland doesn't expect to be as into seeing Elayna pregnant as he is btw but it does Something to him

Elayna gives birth to another set of twins, Jaenella and Tybalt. Tyland actually also likes being a dad more than he expected to. I feel like he's a little awkward at first when they're born, but when they get to the wanting to learn about stuff stage, he's so onboard

I think. At some point Jaehaera dies, and Jaenella is betrothed to Aegon III. Obviously it's not until Jaenella is older, like 10 or so? Obviously Tyland and Elayna are elated because their daughter is going to be Queen. It does unfortunately endear the Lannisters towards Elayna which she hates. Aelon and Reynard are also in good standing within Court with everyone knowing Tyland is training Aelon to be Hand, and Elayna kinda sorta also raises Aegon the Younger since Aegon would still be of playing age when Aelon and Reynard get to that age

In their ideal world I think Tybalt also somehow ends up taking control of Casterly Rock. I have no idea, but Tyland absolutely is happy with that. Elayna is too because in her mind, that makes Casterly Rock safe for her. Reynard ends up going into the King’s Guard

Lmao I just realized they probably have the most power out of any couple in the Realm since Aegon and his sisters sdsdsdsdsd Aegon the Younger probably sees Elayna as the closest thing to a mother figure he's had especially since Elayna does try to give him as normal a childhood as she can and isn't outright trying to manipulate him. So Tyland and Elayna have a son in all but name on the Throne, their daughter as Queen, one of Elayna’s sons set up to be the Hand and the other in the King's Guard. And then Tyland and Elayna's son as Lord of Casterly Rock/Warden of the West

B R U H

Also I think Elayna and Tyland have like... 5 or 6 kids? I think Jaenella and Tybalt, then another son, then maybe triplets? Probably would have had another set of twins if there weren't health concerns

Oh, and Tymon has to die at some point. He probably gets caught trying to kill Elayna

Uuuuuhhhhh Tyland doesn't die from the sickness, he dies of old age. I'm torn between Elayna dying shortly after him or Elayna being like Olenna. I think she ends up like Olenna and is in a weird position of being a powerful matriarch. Yes technically Elayna isn't/wasn’t Queen but holy fuck does Elayna have an insane amount of power

Tbh? I think when Elayna’s ready to die she travels to Castamere and dies there in her sleep

But because I'm me I still think the Reynes end up dying. And Elayna’s legacy as Reyne gets erased in favor of her being like one of the most powerful Lannisters. Like Cersei probably idolizes her when in reality Elayna would strangle Cersei with her bare hands

I'm gonna make it happy, though and have Elayna’s ghost haunt the ever living fuck out of Cersei. And maybe help Sansa too
