Going to do a Nevermoor series reread in June + July + August ? if anyone else also wants to do a reread around that time, could be fun to have more of the fandom prepping for Silverborn
Did initially make a roadmap plan to split the books up into weeks on top of already being months, so that people could focus on specific parts and discuss each weekâŚ.. but between the fact that I messed it up the first time, Silverborn kept getting delayed as I planned it, and Iâm actually really bad at keeping to stuff like that (looking at you, Silverborn Countdown ChallengeâŚ) Iâm deciding to just go for it at whatever pace happens.
#will def be June/July but weâll have to see if I get into August. may want to keep most of that + September as Silverborn Hype Months lol#nevermoor#silverborn#if you ever followed my rereads thoughts masterpost for my (reread?) eternal reread and wondered âwhy no hollowpoxâ? boy is it a doozy#beginning of the year Apple Books updated and Iâm not huge on it!#and since I couldn't fix I decided I would try and delete and reinstall the app.....#âŚ..forgetting that my books and notes are tied to the app and not saved otherwiseâŚ..#so I lost all my notes INCLUDING all my reactions and thoughts from my very first reread that I was excited to look back on and share đĽ˛đđđ#so Iâve just been in mourning and never continued out of my personal beef with the appâŚ.#so this time I think Iâll take use of all my different physical copies and read them physically to give myself a break from screens lol#this summer is just grindset time of getting back into drawing and trying to get good so this reread I also want to draw stuff alongside#like try to nail some character designs and such to make it easier for Silverborn lol#I fear I will need to figure out how to draw dragonsâŚâŚ#anyways. if youâve read all these tags you are now required to join in on the reread with me đŤľ#this also reminds me I need to keep working / actually work on the nine spreadsheet / masterpost. will do that âď¸#I have had several drafts saved of posts I want to respond to with theories that Iâve been saving for my hollowpox reread that now Iâm like#do I just save them for Silverborn?? lol

âż Aries Mars tend to have a quick reaction or just move very fast
âż Men with Sagittarius placements tend to have a very active lifestyle. Also they LOVE to spend time in nature/outdoors đ. Most of their hobbies include skydiving, hiking, camping, etc.
âż Individuals with Virgo placements hate having leftover food sit in their fridgeâŚ
âż Also, individuals with Cancer suns always seems so calm? Whether itâs true or not is a whole other story but they always seem like the shy and quiet upon first impressionâŚex: Ateezâs San, Seventeenâs Wonwoo, NCTâs Taeyong, etc.
âż Virgos tend to do a lot of editing/proofreading before submitting anything (if they could change it afterwards, they would too)
âż Sagittarius Mars on the other hand are on a whole other level of competitiveness like theyâre out for bloodâŚthereâs Yuqi from G-idle, Gunwook from ZB1 and even Li ChenâŚ. if you can't tell just watch running man china and you'll know what I'm talking about đ¤Ł
âż Remember the time when Seok Matthew (Cancer Mars) won an arm wrestling match with Kim Donghyun (6th best UFC Wrestler who participated in Physical 100/ Virgo Mars) but lost to Gunwook (Sagittarius Mars)? Yeah, out for blood
âż I noticed that in many idol groups, idols with libra placements tend to get popular and praised for the way they act/their mannerisms and charismaâŚthereâs something fresh and unique that they bring to the table that the audience loves (Ex: BTSâs Jimin, Aespaâs Ningning, Gidleâs Yuqi, NMixxâs Lily, SKZâs Bang Chan, Monsta Xâs Joohoney, P1Harmonyâs Keeho, Shineeâs Key, etc.)
âż Thereâs two types of Scorpio marsâ 1) Relies on their strength and drive to get through things (ex: BTSâs Jungkook, Ateezâs San & Seventeenâs Dino) and then thereâs 2) One who relies on their mentality and emotional strength to get through things (ex: BTSâs Jimin and Seventeenâs Jeonghan)
âż You know what is funny? Cancer mars won't get into a physical fight but they are strong??? Their strength is kind of unexpected because they donât use it all that much.
âż Aries placement tend to have the type of beauty that captures peopleâs attention first (ex: Hyunjin of SKZ have an Aries Mars, Karina of Aespa is an Aries Sun + Venus, Mingyu of SVT is an Aries Sun + Venus, Lisa of BlackPink is a Aries Stellium, Jackson Wang is an Aries Sun + Venus, Asa + Ahyeon of BabyMonster is an Aries Sun + Mercury, Cha Eunwoo is an Aries Stellium, Ryujin of ITZY is an Aries stellium, etc.)
âż Leo placements and their hyperfocus on their hair is so real like my mom is a Leo sun and she always say to take care of your hair, my brother is a Leo Venus and he would always style his hair and use multiple different products before leaving the house and my friend is a Leo Venus and she would change hairstyle every other monthâŚ.
âż Pisces Mars women make excellent "gold diggers". I think its because they easily play into people's fantasies. (Ex. Sheraseven, Lauren Sanchez, and my aunt in law đ.) Also they have this intuition to knowing what it is that the other desires so it may come easier for them to play into the "ideal woman" but before you know it you're trapped...point is I think they can easily bag up a provider.
âż Pisces Mars women in general seems like the ideal fantasy women. I also notice that their "mask" slips easily but they make it up just as quick. They are the type of people to play a persona/character so well that they eventually end up embodying that energy. (Ex. Marilyn Monroe, Paris Hilton, Im Yoona) Not saying that they are fake, I am just saying that these people often make others fall in love with their personas.
âż Adding on to the previous statement pisces mars can make great manifestors and I think they will benefit a lot from Law of Assumption. Congratulations đĽłđ.
âż This might as well become a pisces mars (both men and women) post but i think its a great deal of delusion + intuition + acting that pisces mars end up manifesting their dream life. (quite literally delulu until it becomes trululu...)

Hi I hope you're doing well! Anyways, how do you think the four boys (Dwayne, David, Marko, Paul) would react if we just ran away, like went to our friends house and refused to come back to the cave? Also what punishments do they give, like after we ran away and in general? Also sorry if my grammer is bad English isn't my first language, anyways have a good day/night!
Running away
Platonic Yandere lost boys x reader
Notes- Hey Iâm doing great thanks! Your English is very good- I couldnât tell you werenât a native speaker :)
Warnings- Choking, Yandere behaviour, Confinement, Psychological abuse, Dehumanisation
Part 2
⢠I think itâs safe to say all four of your fathers would be absolutely LIVID if you ran away.
⢠They genuinely donât understand why you would even think to do something so senseless. After all, it was them who saved you from your biological family when you first moved to Santa Carla.
⢠Not only that, but you had also stolen Dwayneâs bike (his being the obvious choice, as you spent the most time on it).
⢠They discovered your absence a few hours after you had snuck out, but couldnât go after you due to the burning rays of the July sun.
⢠Meanwhile, you had found yourself at Bethanyâs house. She knew enough about your parents to gladly let you stay as long as you need, despite your warnings about how dangerous they are.
⢠Coming back to the boys, I think their individual reactions would vary. Dwayne would be more worried than pissed off. The thought of his baby girl being out there alone without their protection fills him with this hopeless dread. Heâs not even mad about the bike because heâs so scared that youâve crashed somewhere and are lying under a mangled pile of metal, injured and alone.
⢠Marko is also terrified for you. As Iâve said before, heâs in denial about you growing up, so he wonât even entertain the idea that you might be able to look after yourself. Heâs not used to being afraid. Out of everyone in the pack itâs generally agreed that Marko is the most sadistic and violent when it comes to preying on humans. He thrives off of scaring people (you included) so the fact that you are scaring him makes him angry.
⢠He finds himself pacing the cave, eyes shining a brilliant yellow and fangs on display as he pictures the moment they find you. David eventually has to tell him to knock it off or heâll tire himself out before nightfall.
⢠Speaking of David, I think that out of everyone heâd be the least panicky. Thatâs not to say he isnât worried about you, but he understands you better than the others do. He knows that it takes careful planning to pull off a stunt like this, and you arenât stupid enough to get yourself caught up in anything too dangerous.
⢠This stems from the fact that Davidâs obsession with you doesnât come from a deep rooted paternal desire like it does for the others. Sure, he loves you as his daughter and feels a strong sense of pride that they were the ones to mould you into who you are today, but itâs more complicated than that.
⢠The more you grow, the more he sees himself and the others within you, but beneath all that is someone else. A small fragment of a broken child waiting to spiral into something else. Thatâs what intrigues him. That hidden part of you locked behind years of painful love and comforting abuse.
⢠Paulâs reaction is a lot simpler than Davidâs. He feels guilty that their previous argument with you has led to you doing something so drastic. Itâs not that he doesnât trust you, he just doesnât trust all the creepy men around that could hurt you.
⢠I donât think heâd be on the verge of a complete meltdown like Dwayne and Marko, but heâd definitely be on edge, with a million different scenarios playing out through his head.
⢠Once the sun is finally down, it wouldnât take them long to find you. You werenât stupid enough to leave Dwayneâs bike right outside Bethanyâs house, but it was still close enough for your fathers to track you down with relative ease.
⢠The only problem they faced was actually getting to you. Vampires have to be invited inside, and there was no way Bethanyâs mother was going to let in a group of leather clad punks demanding to see their fifteen year old daughter.
⢠So naturally, they went to Max and begged asked him to politely introduce himself as your uncle and bring you home.
⢠Of course, with his charming nature Max had no problem getting invited into Bethanyâs home.
⢠In all fairness, he didnât lie. Sure, he had left out the part where Marko choked you until you were on the verge of passing out, but nothing he did say was untrue. It was more just a careful avoidance of certain details.
⢠You knew you were in deep shit when you came downstairs for dinner and saw your uncle sat at the table with a plate of lasagne of his own.
⢠It was an awkward dinner, well for you at least. Bethâs mum seemed pretty into Max, and he clearly loved the attention.
⢠Once the meal was over, Max announced that he would be taking you home, his tone stern- a subtle warning for you not to argue.
⢠So you didnât argue. At least, not until you were out of Bethanyâs house.
⢠As soon as her door clicked shut you bolted.
⢠It was a stupid idea really. Maxâs car was parked right outside the driveway, so even if you did manage to get away from him, heâd easily be able to chase you down in the vehicle.
⢠It wasnât Max who caught you though. In fact, he made little effort to chase you as you ran.
⢠That didnât strike you as odd until the street you were sprinting down was suddenly lit by a harsh white light.
⢠For a moment you thought it was a car speeding towards you, but as your eyes adjusted it became clear that there were three beams of light, not two.
⢠Your fathers had been waiting round the corner for you and Max.
⢠You, being a stubborn teenager, didnât stop running. You ignored the aggressive revving of their engines and legged it down the road.
⢠The gleaming headlights honed in on you, allowing no darkness to conceal your desperate escape.
⢠Their bikes almost seemed to leap forwards after you, as if they were an extension of your fathers, feeding from their obsessions.
⢠It only took a matter of seconds for them to catch up to you, even after you veered from the road and tried to make a break for the forest at the end of the street.
⢠They had you surrounded in an instant. David in front, Marko to your right and Dwayne and Paul sharing a bike to your left.
⢠Perhaps you would have found the sight amusing if it wasnât for that look in their eyes.
⢠This must have been what it felt like to be a deer. Trapped under the gazes of four hungry wolves, with your only advantage being your primal fear of being dragged back to the cave- something that you knew would be your inevitable fate.
⢠Despite the futility of the situation, you still tried to break past them, spinning on your heel and dashing to the gap between Marko and Davidâs bikes.
⢠For a fleeting second you truly believed you had succeeded in getting past them, but then a hand snared in the neck of your top and yanked you back.
⢠The force of it pulled you to the ground, where you lay momentarily stunned, choking for air.
⢠David was quick the dismount his bike, crouching over where you lay on the sidewalk.
⢠There was nothing you could do except stare up at him, dazed as he pulled you to your feet and forced you onto the back of his bike.
⢠They didnât speak to you on the ride back, only stopping once to pick up Dwayneâs discarded bike (after youâd been forced to hand over the keys).
⢠The only conversation was between Marko and Paul, who seemed almost giddy to return to the cave. You expected that from Marko, always the sadist, but Paul? That stung a little. You supposed he was just feeding off of his mateâs energy.
⢠David was clearly pissed off. You were surprised he hadnât berated you yet, but it seemed as though he was waiting to get home for your punishment.
⢠As for Dwayne, you could tell he was deeply disappointed that you had even wanted to leave them, let alone actually do it.
⢠When it comes to punishments, David is usually in charge. Heâs the leader of the pack and therefore creates the rules and enforces them the most out of everyone.
⢠The only exception being when Marko occasionally decides to make a new rule without telling any of the others so when you inevitably break it, he punishes you.
⢠There was a lot of debate between them about what the punishment for running away should be.
⢠Dwayne was more inclined to taking away certain privileges. No trips to the boardwalk, no choice in what you get to eat, no visiting Uncle Max and Thorn, etc.
⢠Marko would rather just break your legs. It solves the issue of you running away in the future and makes you completely dependent on them, solidifying how much you need your fathers to help you.
⢠In the end though, David gets the final call. He decided that if you donât want to be around them then fine, but it wonât be in your terms.
⢠They left you chained up like a dog in a secluded part of the cave- far from where your fathers would be spending much of their time.
⢠You were left there for two months, only seeing David once a day when he brought you a bottle of water and a ham sandwich.
⢠Being treated like an animal slowly chips away at your sanity. Davidâs silent glare and the bland flavours of your basic meal are the only markers of the time spend in the darkness.
⢠The chain around your ankle feels heavier the longer youâre there. Your weight loss making you weaker by the day as you almost forget that Dwayne, Marko and Paul must be somewhere in the cave as well.
⢠You wondered if they thought about you as little as you thought about them.
⢠It felt like years before David finally brought a key along with your meagre meal.
⢠He watched silently as you ate your sandwich. You kept your gaze averted, staring at those cold leather boots as you chewed your way through the stale bread.
⢠âNot in the mood for talkinâ huh?â
⢠David twisted the keys around between his fingers. Your silence wasnât much of a surprise to him, after all it had been a whole two months since you had spoken to him or your other fathers. He briefly wondered if youâd been talking to yourself to cope with the loneliness.
⢠How much damage could enough isolation do to a person?
⢠The chain unlocked with a small click, but you still made no effort to move.
⢠David sighed and cupped your cheek, guiding you to look at him. âYouâre free now, punishmentâs over. Cmon, the others have missed you.â
⢠You let him help you stand up- something you hadnât done it a long time.
⢠David guided you back to the main area where Dwayne, Marko and Paul waited restlessly to see you again.
⢠Dwayne was the first to rush over to you, enveloping you in a big hug. You didnât return it. It was hard to feel anything but the cold chill that still remained after those two long months.
⢠Your fathers were quick to wrap you in a thick blanket and curl up on the couch. Marko was practically spoon feeding you the bolognaise they had prepared earlier that day, but you hardly noticed.
⢠No one admitted it out loud, but it was clear that your isolation had scarred you a lot worse than a pair of broken legs from Marko wouldâve.
⢠They were going to need to put in a lot of work to get you back.

principiis amoris.
synopsis: In other words, five times Dottore swore he hated you and the one time he realized it was the opposite.
includes: dottore w/ gn! reader
notes: I wanted to try my hand at these 5+1 fics, and Dottore seemed to be the best candidate. Behold, 6k+ words of fluff. Reader and Dottore are complete menaces (and not very good people) and you also throw a book at someone.
I. blindness
Much to anyoneâs surprise, Zandik was having what he would call a good day. Today was the last day of all of his especially boring and easy classes, the illegal parts he secretly ordered came in, and he would be able to stay in his dorm for a while before classes started again. A break from these all these so-called scholars would be much appreciated. He was growing rather tired of them and was greatly looking forward to the much-needed retreat of progressing his research. He could feel it already - the sweet sensation of tinkering with the new parts quickened his pace.
What he was not expecting was his door to be open, voices and rustling noises coming from inside. Immediately a frown appeared and his good feeling was lost. Quickly, he entered the room and saw an unknown figure donning the Akademiyaâs robes, and an academic counselor he recognized standing in his room. Now he was glad he made sure to put his tools away. Ones that were totally not prohibited.
âWhat is the meaning of this?â He didnât try to hide the loathing in his voice.
The counselor shifted in place, clearly not wanting to be here anymore due to his presence. You, on the other hand, didnât seem to care. In fact, Zandik could see that you were smiling.
âAh, hello Zandik. Good to see you are doing well,â she lied through her teeth. âThis here is [Name], your-â
âYour new roommate!â you chimed in. The counselor shrunk in her place even more, probably regretting all her life choices now as Zandikâs laser gaze was on her now.Â
âI thought I made myself clear when I informed you that I did not want anyone in my dorm?â
âYes, well, as per the rules of the Akademiya, every scholar should try to have a roommate for the purpose of cooperationâŚâ Her voice became progressively smaller as Zandik continued to burn his gaze onto her, âa-and collaboration. Regardless of your thoughts, [Name] has to try to dorm with someone, and that someone happens to be you.â You nodded your head in agreement as the counselor spoke.
âSo please, um, try to get along!â She quickly excused herself and scurried out of the room, leaving the two of you alone. You smiled at him yet again, sticking your hand out for a handshake, to which he only spared a glance and turned away.
âPleased to meet you! Iâm excited to live with you!â
âWeâll see about that,â he scoffed. Youâd be out of here in less than a week, just like the few other roommates he had. But to think he had to spend his break with a nuisance in his room now? That irritated him to no end. Though what confused him more was your sunny disposition. Quite literally everyone in the Akademiya knew him and acted the complete opposite.
âHehe, sure. By the way, I call the top bunk bed!â
It was from that moment he knew.
Zandik hated you.
II. relentless
Zandik had been giving you the cold shoulder since the moment you stepped into his (now yours too) dorm. You knew this would be a tough journey, but damn. At least he was good eye candy and wasnât loud. (If you excused his eerie laughter in the middle of the night.)
On this particular night, Zandik was at his makeshift workbench tinkering with Archon knows what, as usual. Unfortunately, even though you found it to be interesting, you were unfamiliar with all of that mechanical stuff. You always would look at him while he worked, and while he would sometimes snap at you to stop staring, he never actually did anything about it. Today was one of those nights.
âYouâve certainly been at that for a while,â you commented. Zandik showed no sign of reaction.
âYou donât want anything to eat? Or drink?â you continued.
âDonât have time,â he responded with no hesitation, far too interested in his new play toys, and also wanting to shut down this conversation immediately. But, you didnât think these were the ones he usually used. You think he kept the deadlier ones hidden away in case you reported him or something.
âTo consume something?â
âTo make something right now,â he corrected.
âWell, yeah, I know. Thatâs why Iâm going to make it for you,â you clarified, kind of surprised (but also not) that you needed to say it directly. This managed to make your roommate pause.
âSo you are offering to cook for me?â he clarified your statement yet again.
âYes?â This time he freed his hand of items completely and looked you dead in the eye.
âExplain.â
âE-Explain? Well, I mean, weâre roommates and all, habiting the same space. It only makes sense that we do things we each other once in a while.â
âSo you expect a transaction.â
âA transactionâŚ? Huh? No! This isnât some kind of business deal or whatever. No, I do not expect anything back from you. I am doing this for you because I want to. Thereâs nothing more to it.â There was no response from Zandik, and he was silent as if he was trying to process what you just said, which was rather cute.
âI do not understand.â
You mentally sighed. âThatâs fine, for now. Iâm gonna whip something up anyway.â Before he could protest further, you disappeared into the tiny kitchen the Akademiyaâs dorms provided.
You had to think of a suitable snack. He probably wouldnât eat it if it was too cumbersome and distracting from whatever he was doing. He needed some kind of finger food⌠and you had just the idea. You believed that when you were a struggling Akademiya student, it was only natural to have some good recipes up your sleeve.
Samosas. Delicious bite-sized pieces of goodness. Although they would take a bit to make, you didnât think Zandik would care. He hardly realized the difference between minutes and hours when he was in this kind of scientific state. And you were glad you stocked up the pantry with your own products because you really had no idea how Zandik lived in these conditions.
Soon enough, you had made a portion for him (and secretly snuck a few for yourself) and you had also made a piping hot cup of coffee, a studentâs best friend of course. You then plated it and brought it to your roommate, setting it down in front of him wordlessly, to which he seemed surprised.
Zandik did not realize you were even still doing that. He thought you were bluffing. But now that such aromatic food was right in front of him, his stomach came to life and he noticed the dryness of his throat. With squinted eyes, he tentatively picked up one of the samosas and inspected it. (Did he think you poisoned it or something?) But then he popped one into his mouth and began to chew experimentally. His face did not betray his emotions, but your questions were answered by his next actions.
âHmm,â he said matter-of-factly, before nomming on another samosa. You peered at him from the top bunk bed as he polished off the bowl of samosas rather quickly. Now, he was waiting for the coffee to cool.
âSooooo, how was my cooking?â you questioned, already internally knowing the answer even if he didnât admit it.
âIt was convenient,â he admitted. Most of the time, Zandik did not cook for himself, as he found the process a waste of time when he could be doing other things.Â
âIâm glad. And the taste?â
âIt was fine.â Actually, it was far more than fine. The constant consumption of the easiest food to make had dulled his taste buds and made him accustomed to bland food. Though your food was quite tasty, Zandik was not about to let you get a big head now.
âJust fine? Seemed like you scarfed them down pretty quickly,â you teased.
âThe quicker I eat, the quicker I am able to devote my full attention to the research,â he corrected you. You pouted but still felt pleased.
âThen Iâll make something for you every day.â
He felt on guard again at your kindness. âWhy?â
You raised an eyebrow at him. âDidnât I already say? âCause weâre roommates and all, and also soon-to-be friends. And friends usually help each other out, yeah? And also because Iâm kind of worried how you eat the same thing over and over.âÂ
He immediately frowned at your proposal. âI am not your friend. And never will be.â
You shrugged your shoulders and moved to lie down instead, pulling the blankets over you. âEhe, weâll see. I have a way with words, you know!â You smiled and winked at him, to which you received a deadpan glare. âGood night, Zandik! Oh, and make sure to clean up afterward!â
âHmph.â
Friend. He toyed with the word and idea in his head, mocking it internally. Friend⌠friend, as if that could ever be feasible. Of course not.
Zandik hated you.
III. possessivenessÂ
It had been a while since you moved in with Zandik, and he stopped treating you with disdain. Though, Zandik was Zandik, so you still got a tongue-lashing from time to time. (But you could never take him seriously anymore, which irritated him.)
Lately, though, he had begun to show you some of his research, and even begun to let you tinker with some of his stuff! Only while he was present of course, but you were elated. Though, he seemed to be enjoying this more than you somehow. You could ask one question and suddenly heâd be on a tangent. But you were just happy he was talking to you.
You had been upgraded from hated stranger to tolerable stranger to okay acquaintance in Zandikâs eyes. You had insisted on calling him your friend, to which he still did not understand, but for some reason he allowed it. Perhaps it was because it felt nice.
Actually, you were a helpful, okay acquaintance. You frequently looked over his notes for him, correcting spelling and grammar errors from when he scribbled so fast. Tidied up his bed and work space too. The best part was that you had begun to run errands for him so he didnât need to leave the dorm himself. After these series of events, you had declared yourself his assistant without even asking him first, but he supposed that was okay. He valued usefulness. And maybe your company a bit, too. And although he enjoyed silence the most, maybe he liked how nice your voice was in the background.
Today was one of those days where he waited for you to get back from an errand. It was quick and easy, and the seller wasnât too far away. Like always, he occupied himself with his work and awaited your return, which proved to be fruitful as usual. But after a while, something did not feel right.
Zandik could not put his finger on it. Why did he have this feeling in the back of his mind? He was quite irritated at this itch he could not reach. Perhaps you would have-
Thatâs right. You. You. You. Where were you? Thatâs when he realized that you were gone longer than you usually were. To think that his body and mind would get so accustomed to your presence. He wasnât sure whether to feel disgusted or not by this feeling.
He wondered what was the holdup. But there was naught he could do except wait. And wait. And wait. Until the jiggle of the doorknob drew his attention and you stepped through the door with the items he requested.Â
âHey, Zandik,â you greeted, locking the door behind you and dropping the bag on the table. He didnât respond, but you didnât think that was anything strange since he never cared much for greetings. âGot your stuff,â you continued your normal routine, kicking off your shoes and shedding your sweater, expecting the silence to continue.
âWhat took you so long?â You almost did a double-take when he spoke.
âWhat?â
âWhat took you so long?â he repeated.
âOh, on the way back, some students stopped me and asked if I could explain some stuff to them. I guess I did take a bit longer than usual. Why?â you questioned. Did he really notice the difference? It hadnât even been that long, maybe ten to fifteen minutes extra that you took. And plus, itâs not like you two were doing anything together. Just sitting in silence with metal clanking as usual.
When you did not get any response, you raised your eyebrows and tip-toed your way over to him to get a glimpse of his expression. It was mostly empty if you ignored the eye twitching and the downward curve. You had to dig your fingernails into your palm to control the chuckles.Â
âCould it be⌠did you miss little old me, Zandik?â
âPerish the thought,â Zandik immediately interrupted before you could even finish your sentence. âYour whereabouts are not my concern,â he vehemently denied.
âMhm, alright then.â
âI simply do not see why you need to talk to those so-called scholars. They are not worth the time or energy to even look at.â
Ah, there it was. So he was jealous. You understood now.
âWell, I was just doing what a normal, nice person would do.â
âThe fact that you are still living with me proves youâre not normal. As for the nice part, you donât need to do that for anyone.â
âOh really? So what should I do, turn a blind eye to everyone else and save the sweet words for you?â you joked.
âYes. Were you not the one who declared yourself as my assistant? Assistants always follow their seniors,â he stated matter-of-factly.
You were completely surprised at his mini confession, that if you spoke carelessly, you knew youâd stutter. But you werenât complaining. You ignored the heat on your face, and matched his words.
âHmm⌠I would say in that case, you canât speak to anyone either, but itâs not like you do that anyway,â you said simply, biting down on your lip to prevent laughing. Zandik immediately scowled at your statement.
âI donât need, want, or care to speak to anyone. But since you clearly need to be around these low-tier scholars, you can get out this instant.â You couldnât help but double over with giggles now at his defensiveness and landed on Zandikâs bed. He huffed. You loved when he acted like this.
âAh, Iâm so glad I asked to dorm with you,â you giggled with a dopey grin. Zandik paused his work, taking in what you just said.
âYou⌠what?â
You turned to lay on your side and propped yourself up on your arm. âHmm? Did I say something strange?â you questioned.
âYou chose to live here? With me, of your own choice? I knew it was strange when the counselor chose me of all people. Surely there were others available?â Zandik was utterly baffled as he had now temporarily abandoned his tinkering to gauge your expression.
âYes! Shall I recount the exact events for you?â Without waiting for an answer, you prattled on. âOkay so, I went to the counselor lady and she wanted me to dorm with this random guy, and I was like okay cool, but then I got this little sneak peek of the list she had and I saw your name in fancy handwriting. And then I was like, hey, thatâs the smart cute morally dubious guy that I hear people talking about! So then I said, nah, give Zandik to me instead please- hey, why is your face kind of red?âÂ
You ended your little rambling and sat up straight, leaning into your roommateâs face. âHey, are you embar-â Before you could finish your sentence, he quickly spun back around to face his desk, trying to block out your incessant giggling.
âShut up,â he hissed in reply, quick to defend himself. âNo one in this school would willingly live with me.â And how dare you call him that? That⌠c-word.
âWell,â you clutched your chest to prevent any more laughter, âThatâs clearly not true anymore, because Iâve been here for quite a while! But wow, your face!â You toppled back onto his bed grinning. He swore you were brain-dead.Â
Zandik hated you.
IV. like-mindedness
Zandik did not like being in public. That was something you came to realize and understand rather quickly. For the most part, you had no qualms with it. You were quite content with bantering with him in the privacy of the dorm or in the desert or forest looking for whatever specimens he wanted. There were no distractions, no other people to give you weird stares or looks.
It was another normal day for you, and you came to realize that youâd actually been living with Zandik for quite a while. You liked to think that you two were rather close now. The time had flown by quickly for you, but apparently very long for others. To say people were baffled was an understatement.Â
People were shocked, fascinated, intrigued, fearful, any word you could think of, at how you managed to dorm with Zandik and still be alive, mentally and physically. Many people even applauded you for managing to live with Zandik for so long. You had people coming up to you asking for tips on how you confronted your fears so easily. The crazier ones even wanted to write a paper on your mental fortitude. (Thankfully your roommate hadnât found out about that yet.)
Today, however, the two of you decided to stop by Puspa CafĂŠ after class. It was a nice day to dine outside, and the coffee and food there was excellent. You had no complaints, especially since this was your first time doing this kind of thing with Zandik. It was going quite well, as the two of you read over your notes in silence until whispers began to penetrate the tranquility.
âHey, look over there. Is that Zandik?â
âOh wow, youâre right! This is my first time seeing him outside of class.â
âReally? This is my first time seeing him in general.â
âWell yeah, he only goes to class and then back to his dorm. Everyone knows heâs a freak.â Their blathering continued and you twitched your eye, unable to concentrate. You peaked at Zandik but he looked unbothered.
âWeâre right in front of them and can still talk about you like that?â You were simultaneously shocked and impressed at their audacity and stupidity. Zandik simply shrugged his shoulders, his uncaring attitude shining through as he was practically immune to these kinds of scenarios now. You huffed and flipped a page in your book. Sometimes you wished you could borrow some of his ability to not care what people think.
But there was only so much you could take. And Archons above, these scholars and their incessant talking were annoying. You had no idea how Zandik could continue to read so intently with this racket. At least he was more pretty when he was quiet.
Slowly you stood up, and Zandik glanced at you, a bit confused but not too interested, still absorbed in his own book. His eyes returned to the text, but then he heard a loud thump from the side. Now more of his attention was on you, as he saw you now closed the thick book shut.
â[Name]?â he questioned, raising an eyebrow. You were now retrieving some Mora, probably for the bill, and laying it on the table. âDo you have business to attend to?â
âBusiness? You know what, yes, yes I do,â you chuckled a bit eerily. âBut itâll only take a couple of seconds.â With that, you picked up the textbook and lifted it up and down like a weight. Finally, you positioned yourself properly and raised your arm toward the direction of the student.
You threw the fucking textbook.
It was a sight that Zandik would never forget. A heavy book that would hurt anyoneâs arm from lugging it around, flew through the air, and with uncanny precision, knocked the scholar right in the face.
It was dead silence for a few seconds.
And then chaos.
Screams erupted from the other students at the table at the sight of their fallen friend. A commotion was born as people scrambled to the boy. Zandik was having a bit of trouble comprehending what just happened. Yes, he just understood that you just threw a textbook at a guy, but he did not understand at the same time. Even he knew not to harm someone in public. (Private was a different case.) And you did it with no hesitation, no logical thought process of what would happen. It was an activity far from what most scholars did.
While he was in a little stupor, you quickly pushed your papers into your bag and slung it over your shoulder. âHey! Teyvat to Zandik! Donât just sit there! We have to leave the scene!â you scolded him, taking initiative and stuffing his work into his bag as well. He wasnât the most pleased with how you treated his precious research material but that was only a fleeting thought compared to what just occurred. You threw his bag over your shoulder as well and cursed at how heavy his damn textbook was. But what he did not expect was what you did next.
Rolling your shoulders back to prepare yourself for the weight, you then grabbed his hand and started pulling him away.Â
Zandik then had no words to describe his emotions. He could only focus on the prickles that arose from all over his body at such prolonged and close contact with you. He was used to your teasing - running your hands through his hair on occasion, or leaning in close to his ear to whisper something, but this simply broke his scale. He felt as though he was moving unconsciously, feet moving in sync with yours, and he had no idea how to feel or even understand this phenomenon.Â
âHey, I know you can walk faster than that!â Your voice snapped him out of his unfamiliar sensations, and thatâs when he realized what was happening. You had actually managed to drag him so far along that you were both probably halfway through the city looking like complete, bumbling fools. And you were still holding his hand, and thatâs when he realized again how lovely you looked in this moment. He quickly discarded those thoughts.
âRelease me this instant, [Name],â he threatened, immediately putting his vexed look back up. He could feel your warmth penetrating his whole body just from your hand.
âSure, sure~! Letâs turn into this alley to hide,â He could tell that was a complete lie because your laugh was so loud it probably rang out all the way to Port Ormos. Zandik scoffed and bit his lip to prevent a smile.
Soon enough, you both reached a secluded part of the city, away from all the hustle and bustle and caught your breath. You slid down a wall in relief and closed your eyes while Zandik had his eyes trained on you for what you just put him through.
âDo you have anything to say for yourself?â he raised an eyebrow at your crazy behavior. You peeked at him and put your hand on your chin, in a thinking position.
âHmm⌠well, that was quite fun, was it not?!â you tried to keep a straight face but you could not help but laugh at your friendâs incredulous expression.
âYou- we, we are going to get in trouble with the dean you know. And the counselors,â he said, trying to bite down the smile that kept rising when he remembered the expression on the assaulted studentâs face.
âWeâll be fineeeee,â you shrugged your shoulders and stretched your letters. âHavenât you gotten into more trouble with the head administration with your little controversial experiments? Besides, if weâre lucky, heâll be too scared to report the incident,â you laughed, completely nonchalant about what you just did.
âHmph. The blame is on you if anything happens,â he attempted to speak in an irritated voice, but he could not help but be amused. A bit elated, even. There were many people he wanted to see get chucked with a textbook. And do worse things too.
But a bit of the thrill came from how you did that with no hesitation. It was a⌠strange feeling to have someone do that for him. Actually, this whole relationship was strange. You were strange. Even he felt strange. He was honestly a straight-up asshole to you sometimes, like he was to everyone else. But that didnât drive you off. You still did things for him. You still spoke to him. You didnât want anything in return, not money, not knowledge, not relics, but perhaps what you did want was-
Zandik stopped that line of thoughts in its tracks, trying to ignore how his hand was all tingly from you holding it. Things were fine this way, he declared. He could not admit he was enamored with you. Nothing needed to change. He had to maintain his view of you, otherwiseâŚÂ
âYou know, Iâm surprised I even got you to do that. Did you hit your head too?â
âShut up.â
Zandik hated you.
(You two did get into trouble. The Akademiya assigned you an apology essay which Zandik refused to do so you had to write two separate essays for each of you. With some begging, he did your homework for you in return, and somehow managed to get the blood stain off of that textbook you had thrown. You didnât question where he learned that.)
V. kindness
It had been years since that fateful day, the time when you first moved in with Zandik. The Akademiya was a long and arduous grind, but that was to be expected. Your friendship with Zandik was one you cherished more than most things.
To say the two of you were close was an understatement. You still remember the counselorâs expression when you told her how well the two of you were getting along, and that there was no need for you to ever switch roommates. You think she became afraid of you too after that.
Tonight was a relaxed night. Zandik and you were not doing any work, simply laying side by side on his bed. (Even though he always threw fierce words at you, you knew he liked your touch.)
In the beginning, you would never be able to tear him away from that desk, but with time comes new things. You were just happy he was getting more hours of sleep.
The two of you lied in the dark as usual, simply enjoying the cool Sumeru breeze and the muffled noises from the city. You learned to grow content with these simple moments. But tonight you felt like talking.
âHey, Zandik?â
âHm?â
âRemember when you met me?â You could feel his head shift to look at you, probably for asking such a dumb question.
âYes, I do. Too well, actually.â
âWhat was your first impression of me?â you questioned, realizing you never actually asked him that.
âThat you were quite annoying and a thorn in my side.â
Anyone else might have been hurt by these words, but you did not mind. He made it pretty obvious that was how he felt in the beginning anyway, so it was no surprise. âBut what about now?â
âYouâre fine.â Even in the dark, he could feel your pout and pleading eyes. âAnd your intelligence and helpfulness deserve to be praised, I suppose.â And then he could feel your smile grow as your face was partially on his shoulder. From then the conversation flowed through many things. That research paper you two were working on, some kind of experiment he wanted to do on you (he swore it was painless), about that one scholar who was always annoying during the lectures.
The more you spoke, the more you realized how much of your life centered around being with Zandik here. You didnât know if you ever wanted to graduate. To ever be apart from him.
âYou know, Iâve been thinking. How long do you think weâll live here?â
âHmm, itâs hard to say. The benefits the Akademiya provides are far too good to let go of now. Speaking of that, thereâs somewhere I want to visit.âÂ
âOh, you mean those hidden ruins you think are connected with Khaenriâah?â How nice it would be if you could just drape your arm over his chest.
âYes. Though I donât know if the Akademiya will let me make another trip back to the desert as of right now,â he pondered.
âAre you referring to how youâve been on the Matraâs watch list for years? So they started following you everywhere?â you giggled.
âNot just me. You too, [Name],â he rolled his eyes. âAt least I never threw a book at someone in public.â You pouted and playfully punched his arm.
âCâmon, that was so long ago! You can stop bringing it up!â you whined. He would never let that go, huh? The conversation died down from there, but it was a comfortable silence, which you loved. After that little banter, your eyes began to droop and you yawned. Zandik glanced at you.
âTired?â You nodded and blearily rubbed your eyes.
âSleep, then,â he commanded, and you had no qualms with following that. Soon enough, Zandik was the only one left awake, staring out at the open window. He had found these little resting sessions of yours good for clearing his mind. He closed his eyes too.Â
Two people, on the same tiny, college-sized bed, arms brushing each other and talking nonchalantly. Totally, two good friends.
Friends. Friends, friends, friends. Long ago, the word left a distasteful feeling in his mouth, and it still did, but not for the reason he originally felt. Now, what he desired was more complicated.
Zandik hated you.
VI. endless
Zandik knew he would be expelled from the Akademiya soon, for the crimes he committed. And yet, instead of preparing for any future plans, he found himself following the directions of a note you left on his workbench. Meet me at our usual spot, 8 PM.
He was a busy man, more so in soon-to-be exile. He didnât have time for your frivolous games. But for some reason, he found himself heading over to the cliff anyway. It was dark outside, but the stars illuminated your figure, and that was when he noticed the basket next to you as well. You noticed him and sat up eagerly.
âHey, you made it! I was worried you wouldnât come, to be honest.â
â...What is this?â
âEh? A picnic, of course. The weather is real perfect for one.â
He was so astonished that the laugh building in his throat could not come out immediately. Surely you were aware of what he had done? Practically everyone in the Akademiya knew. You couldnât walk for five minutes without hearing rumors floating around. Or perhaps you were that oblivious?
âOh really?â His familiar, eerie laugh that you loved finally rang out. âDid a Ruin Guard finally toss you around well enough? Only an idiot wouldnât know what Iâve-â
âI mean, do killers not like picnics anymore?â You replied so nonchalantly, he was actually a bit shocked.Â
âYouâre⌠youâre frustrating,â he murmured.
The way you managed to make him so tongue-tied all the time made him itch to put you in your place, to snap back somehow, but he found himself unable to lately. Actually, he struggled to do that for a while now, and he despised how you made him feel like a bumbling fool.
âHeh, perhaps some of your unhingedness rubbed off on me,â you shrugged, patting down the spot next to you. âLook, I made samosas for you again.â
The blanket was soft and comfy, and though he didnât care much for the flavors of food, he did enjoy your cooking. You continued to polish off your meal before you spoke again.
âSo, I hear youâre going to be expelled soon.â
âCorrect. Though I care little for this place, itâs a shame to lose a suitable environment for my research.â
âHave you decided where youâre going? Iâm sure youâre not planning to stay exiled in the desert for the rest of your life,â you hummed. âLeaving this country, perhaps?â
âThat seems to be the most logical action. There is nowhere in this nation that would fund my research.â
âI see. Youâre going far away from here.â Zandik nodded in reply, but the more he thought about it, the more irritated he felt. Far away from here meant far away from you.
To think he felt no remorse for murder but he felt a tingle of emotion (sadness? regret? anger?) at no longer being with you. Whatever it was, it left a bitter taste in his mouth. He loathed to admit it, but he enjoyed your company. He enjoyed dragging you out of bed in the morning, and he enjoyed you dragging him to bed at night. He enjoyed your bantering, your inquisitive nature towards his work. He enjoyed being the only person youâd treat like this and having one person to himself. Zandik enjoyed you, thoroughly and fully.
âWell, keep me updated. I already got my bags packed and ready to go.âÂ
âWhat?â A quirk of yours, he realized, was being able to leave him surprised at the most unpredictable times. Although scholars must plan for every possibility, he found it difficult to prepare for yours.
âIâm coming with you, of course. Youâre gonna need your number one assistant with you. Hey, whyâd you stop eating? We still need to get through the Padisarah Pudding.â
âYou? Accompany me?â All of a sudden, everything made perfect sense. Yes, of course! You were right, he thought, as a fit of laughter overcame him. It was a splendid idea, one that pleased him immensely. Having you with him would be a great asset for his research. No one suited the role better than you. And you, in general, were⌠nice. You didnât grate on his nerves like everyone else.
âHa! Good! Amazing, even! I shall be sure to tell you when we depart from this nation of fools.â You raised your eyebrows at his sudden enthusiasm, but witnessing Zandikâs bursts of inspiration was nothing new to you either.Â
âWell, glad to see youâre so keen on it,â you chuckled. âBut I have a request. Actually, itâs more like something I have to say to you before we embark on this. Itâs crucial, really.â
âOh? Do tell.â He wasnât rich, but he had the ability to procure a wide variety of items. The Nation of Wisdom was more corrupt than one would think. But he did wonder what you would ever want. You didnât chase after material goods like the majority of humans.
âTo be frank, I like you,â you declared, looking right into his eyes. At that moment, it felt like the world had gone silent. The wind stopped blowing, the animals lied low, the grass no longer rustled. âI like you. I want to be more than just friends with you,â you stated bluntly. You felt that getting straight to the point was the best course of action with Zandik, since many things besides his research and manipulating people tended to go over his head.
âSo, what do you say?â
There was no response. You attempted to build your case.
âBy the way, did you think Iâd go through all this trouble if I didnât want to be with you? I didnât dorm with you for no reason, you know.â
â...â
âFor such a smart guy, you arenât very good at this, are you? Well, I canât be too mad. Iâve been dealing with the denseness for a few years now. You know, Iâve been making the first moves this whole time.â
â...âÂ
The lack of response was beginning to make you nervous. You preferred the maniacal laughter of rejection at this point. âH-hey, Iâd like a reply, you know. You donât need to accept-â
Zandik thought. And he found that the words he spoke next were genuine.
âI find you⌠agreeable as well.â
You couldnât help but throw your head back and laugh, shoulders now relaxed. âWhy, such an amazing compliment from the high and mighty Zandik has me even more lovestruck!â He wanted to be mad, he really did, but it was at this moment he understood what it meant to be mesmerized by another person. He had found himself mesmerized by ancient machines, ruins, texts, his research. But he truly found you beautiful, your giggles echoing through the night.
âIâm agreeable, yes?â You turned to face him, your body leaning in closer to his. âAm I agreeable enough to do⌠this?â You tentatively glided your fingers over his hand, gauging to see how far Zandik would let you go. He stiffened at the foreign contact, clearly unused to it, but let you continue.
âWhat about this?â You slid your hand up and down his arm, keeping your eyes on his face the whole time. He tried not to show any emotions, besides a half-hearted scowl, but you could still see the red tips of his ears. He was so cute.
You scooted closer to him and let your other hand rest on Zandikâs thigh. âI think Iâm much more than agreeable in your books,â you teased, cupping his cheek. He scoffed in response but did nothing to refuse your advancement. You leaned in and connected your lips with your loverâs. It felt damn good. Zandik had no idea what he was doing, but it was endearing nonetheless. You kissed him again, and again, and he reciprocated, albeit a little awkwardly. Your heart soared as you pulled away, and placed a few final kisses on his cheeks.
âNow, how did that feel?â You already knew the answer to that, of course. You knew Zandik for a long time, and could tell when he was in a shitty mood, a bad mood, a grumpy one, an excited one, a happy one, and much more. This mood was one you havenât seen until now, but it sure was a good one. Completely flustered was a great look on him.
âI⌠I cannot come to a definitive answer as of now. I would say that I need to carry out some more experiments to reach a conclusion.â
âOh? Then Iâm a willing participant for however long as you want,â you smiled, finding comfort in his soft, teal locks.Â
And thatâs when Zandik truly realized. You were more tolerable than the rest. You were bearable enough to want to keep you around forever. Smart enough for him to desire to hear your honeyed voice. Soft enough to want to feel your skin against his. Ah, he would never say it though, as he brushed his lips over yours once again.
Zandik loved you.

TIT AUCKLAND FINAL RECAP
the spoilery stuff is at the bottom of the post, the rest is safe
Since June there has been a discord server going for everyone at the Auckland show. It was amazing to make so many friends before even going to the show. We all got to know each other in the months leading up to the event. Super cool!
We all met up for lunch before the show to hang out and exchanged our crafts. (craft haul x) It made me so happy to see people excited to meet Carlos and my dolls :).
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/9962e862067e50747d15b48a128f5ed5/b46d82918f56cd7a-08/s540x810/ba15af016dbba9b46fe5cfd92949f710d6fa5c8e.jpg)
@peter-must-die with his amazing shirt holding Carlos
We made our way to the KTK theater, and I bought some merch. Literally shouted when I opened my photocards to see BLONDE QUIFF PHIL!!!!!! :O
I came PREPARED for my meet and greet, had an agenda broken down into 3 steps. I had been overthinking this for months and have lost so much sleep from tit anxiety. The plan was very helpful! I was revising it in the line.
My hands were totally full. Sister Daniel kept on escaping my grip, we think she was trying to run away. I also recall repeatedly doing my Christophe Giacometti (from yuri on ice) impression in the line.
In the meet and greet line I discovered that I randomly have a lot of upper body strength đ
. I was giving out VERYYY tight deep pressure hugs to people who wanted them. It was very calming. I also got a stopwatch out and we did some 4/4/8 breathing. Then our time was almost up, and WE COULD SEE DAN.
I filmed Max's meet and greet for them first. So that was good getting to spend a minute or so in front of Dan and Phil before it was my turn. I had briefed Max on my agenda, so they knew exactly what to do. My full meet and greet post with photos and the video are here (x). THANK YOU SO MUCH @shitwheresfoxy FOR BEING THE BEST GLAMOUROUS ASSISTANT EVER!
Phil did not seem like a human. I stupidly told him he was like an animatronic robot. He is just SO BEAUTIFUL IT DOESNT SEEM REAL. You need to understand, PHIL LESTER IS SO ETHERALLY GORGEOUS IT IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!!!!! He's just so đĽ°. No wonder Dan can't stop looking at him like that in the videos. I get it now.
Dan definitely led my m&g, and I've heard others say this too. He does most of the talking, offers to take the photos, and he had the biggest reactions to things. I made him cackle a few times and I will wear that like a badge of honour. Some other highlights include:
Dan's first reaction to Carlos "uhh.. what?"
Dan's crab hands in our selfie
Dan talking to my camera whilst I fetched something from Max
Their first reaction to my dolls
Phil waving and saying bye to me
BONUS 1 MINUTE AND 39 MINUTE VIDEO OF PHIL HOLDING CARLOS, THIS MEANS THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE TO ME
I am slightly embarrassed about how excited I got, I went a bit nuts. Told them Carlos was "the love of my life" đ¤Ś. Was completely hyper after the m&g, had major zoomies and couldn't calm down. That's when we caught up with the silver VIP people from the server.
@totally-srs-all-the-time made this STUNNING bedsheet cape and wanted to put it on me to have mega bed sheet titfit. Only when she held it up to me, I thought she was wanting to use it as a weighted blanket to calm me. So I lay on the floor đ, she still put it on me and got this pic.
Met the phiwi backpack too!!!
I recorded our preshow and put it on youtube (x). Can't believe Olly's figure skating question was answered! That was wickedly cool. There is a very small group of us who got SUPER into ice skating these past couple of months. So to have our niche acknowledged by Dan himself was PHENOMENAL.
We all danced to HOTOGO, @einsteinfrizz 's amazing video from the balcony can be found here (x)
And then it was time for the show.
SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!
I took notes during intermission and after the show of what I remembered.
Our conspiracies were:
Toilet, Clothes, Bus, and Vegas
"They share clothes." Went on about how their nipples touch the same cloth and did weird nipply gestures.
Lawyer Dan banned Australia, wrote erotic fanfiction about Gollum, and went to jail for killing phil. (Phil then said "hopefully he was not a CEO" and everyone CHEERED SO LOUDLY FOR AGES. They were both caught off guard by the big audience reaction, and it seemed like Dan was genuinely surprised/shocked that Phil said that.
Linguist Phil's favourite word was 'perky nana', he liked to help old ladies cum, and had a secret collection of lesbians.
Phil's 1 minute improv was on stationary. He thought the person said penis, but he changed it to pens, and then decided to change it to stationary. He told a story of how he had a cola scented gel pen and would fill in an entire page and just sniff it.
Early on in the show Phil thought he swallowed a fly and started choking. He then yelled for a "minion" to fetch him water. Dan was taken back by this and it was about a minute before a crew member walked on with his water bottle.
(I'm sensing this show is a lot of Phil saying off-script random shit and dan being shocked by him. Which honestly checks out.)
"Jesus but more shippable" IM SORRY WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY DAN
Phil said reject modernity embrace tradition correctly.
They still think the phanniversary was "last month."
Everyone yelling "gay" together in unison was so healing.
Phil messed up the song lyric again and said "I got the tattoo" instead of "you"
SISTER DANIEL HOLY FUCK WHERE DO I BEGIN. I was in the 4th row on the left side which is where she stood. I knew all the spoilers going into it BUT NOTHING COULD HAVE PREPARED ME. I screamed at the top of my lungs when I first saw her come out. I AM SO THANKFUL FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF GETTING TO SEE HER IN PERSON I WILL NEVER TAKE THAT FOR GRANTED. She is so AAAH. Religious, eye-opening experiences were certainly had. AND SHE WAS IN DOC MARTENS. I'm never gonna be able to put into words how feral she made me.
I would say that I was very familiar with the show content before I got there. But in reality, everything was 100x weirder than I thought it would be. I mean that in the best way possible!!! Dnp were OFF. THE. RAILS. They were still the same people you see in the videos, but uncut and UNLEASHED.
AND THEN THERE WAS THE FACT THAT I WENT HOME WITH AN ACTUAL PROP?!?!?!
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0e540d26570507e600770b65c80527da/b46d82918f56cd7a-89/s540x810/283c168c17a62e41dad14a67bff426e6c5a14ca2.jpg)
At the end of the show, I rushed to the front of the stage to steal the confetti. (I'm a hoe for collecting show confetti, I did the same thing at WAD).
Whilst I was collecting confetti and taking pics of Carlos, one of the stagehands came out a few times, handing out the Australian props to random people standing at the stage.
THIS IS THE GREATEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME!!! Here are some close-up photos I took of Obi Wan, and a video of what he can do (x). I walked into TIT with a Sister Daniel and Father Philip doll, and I came out of TIT with Phobi Phan Phenobi.
I also got one of the role model or no-le model cards, it is blank on the other side apart from their signature.
I also got to get up and close with other people's props. I even got to play Max's ukulele. I played the TIT song and I can tell you first hand that that thing was VERY out of tune. I know Dan was only fake playing it, but at least tune it first đ.
The day after, a big group of us went to Auckland Zoo! Man that was a lot of fun. We signed TABINOFs, and I got a bunchhhh of pics of Phobi Wan, my photo dump is here (x). @spanielt0wel also got a doll, so I made sure to get some photos with them together.
The post-tit depression is REALLLLLL. I miss being surrounded by like minded people. It was so easy to unmask and just be completely myself. I have never felt more like me than when I was surrounded by all the queer, neurodivergent phannies. This was the happiest I've felt in years. So thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who came to talk to me, and to all the friends I've made through the discord đ.
Now I am back home and terrible influencing up my room cause I never want to forget this amazing experience.

Also thank you to everyone who voted on my poll you've convinced me that #4 is the way to go and I shall be ordering that flag soon.

âLimits.â
Baizhu x Reader
Words: 1550
Google Docs Pages: 2,5
Warnings: Lantern Rite 2025 spoilers, established relationship, injury recovery, comfort, idk nothing too emotional.Â
Opening: Hu Tao drags you back to Bubu in poor shape after saving her, but your partner isnât quite as happy about this sacrifice. Too bad heâd sacrifice himself for you as well, so youâre in good hands.Â
AN// G/N Reader. I have a request to write but because my main finally was let out the basement and got content AND he was voicedâŚI felt like this came first. But also because I wanted this part to be included in the Lantern Rite cut scene but it wasnât soâŚHaha, I didnât make this too long or detailed, since I have other stuff to work on. Hope itâs still okay :âD
âLimits.â
The amount of fetor your body had been exposed to far exceeded the amount youâd expected to face. But none of the efforts had been in vain. Since whatever had happened after, youâd made sure Hu Tao was alive and well before ultimately collapsing in exhaustion.Â
And she was well. Enough so, to having taken the task of getting you back for treatment on herself. You had no memory of this, barely bits and pieces of the journey. Flashes of small bits of road, faint sounds of Hu Tao cheering herself on under her breath and a faint memory of stairs. A feeling you'd had each time, of wanting to ease her burden of dragging you back by getting back on your feet. But the overwhelming exhaustion prevented you from moving, there was no arguing against it.Â
It was already dark by the time Hu Tao had made it back to Bubu pharmacy. Allowing herself a moment of rest when Baizhu helped her by taking on some of the weight of your collapsed form, brows furrowed in worry. His hand brushed back some of the lost strands of hair from your face while diligently checking your vitals. Most of the actions done so automatically on the spot he hadnât even noticed doing them.Â
He felt displeased, most of that stemming from worry. A part of him not fully comprehending the fact that youâd willingly gone and done something so dangerous. But then again, you had saved the life of the funeral parlorâs director successfully. That fact confused his thought process, not really knowing who to be displeased with. Ultimately deciding that maybe it was better if those feelings werenât directed at anyone. There were more pressing matters at hand.Â
That didnât stop him from mumbling a few rather opinionated comments under his breath while helping Hu Tao escort you to the back room for a more thorough exam. Laying your form neatly on to the bed before going over to the shelves. Mind ticking to find anything to ease the exhaustion that heâd concluded as the cause for the collapse. You needed rest, that much was clear. But he couldnât have you sleeping without consuming anything for an extended amount of time. That would far increase the risk of more harm than good.Â
In his hurry to find the best possible medicine, heâd forgotten to thank Hu Tao. Furthermore, heâd forgotten that the girl needed a check up as well. Sheâd been in the very same place as you, and therefore having had the fetor run through her as well.Â
âAh, indeed. Thank you, Director Hu. Once their condition is stable, I suggest you come in for a check up as well.â He spoke swiftly, an attempt to hide the worry in his tone from the other and himself. He wouldnât have been of much help to anyone if any of those selfish feelings were to come through now.Â
He couldnât see the reaction of the Director, merely hearing an agreeing âokayâ before she saw it best to leave the doctor to perform his duty in peace. The silence so dreadful when he finally seated himself beside the bed.Â
He did what he could. Applying all the medicine he could think of that had a chance of easing your condition, taking note of any changes with your vitals. By now having realised that this case with the fetor could have been of use in further research. Then again, that could have been a desperate attempt to distract himself from the identity of the patient he was caring for. It was an odd feeling, seeing something he held close to his heart be injured and unresponsive.Â
But he knew better than to rue over something that couldnât be changed anymore. Heâd done what he could, knowing that since the fetor didnât exactly cause an illness, it meant there was nothing he could heal. Merely ease the effects of it now and hope that your recovery would perhaps be sped up by the medicine.Â
Time passed faster than he expected. The situation had taken such a strain on his condition, heâd barely noticed when he had started nodding off. Changsheng sensed the stress of the situation, not daring to start waking Baizhu up again once heâd fallen asleep by the bed. Thinking it best to allow him rest now, rather than waking him up and having the man fuss over you again for the rest of the night. His body could hardly take the strain, no matter if he always argued otherwise.Â
Thankfully his dignity was saved, since you hadnât shown any signs of waking up the next morning either. Only, heâd received a few displeased looks and comments from Changsheng over him straining himself like heâd done. After another overly thorough examination, heâd been able to only conclude that you appeared fine on the outside. Deciding it best to start off his day to get his mind off of the situation. Knowing all he could do was to wait for your body to naturally wake up again.Â
The day kept him busy with all the check ups he had to do with the patients affected with fetor previously, allowing him to take his mind off of your condition. It was only after Zhongli had come in to visit you that heâd received the news of your conscious state. The other man having seen it best to start leaving so Baizhu had space to make sure nothing fatal had happened due to the extreme exposure to fetor.Â
He hurried to the back room, relieved to find you sitting on the bed with a hand on your forehead. Seemingly having just woken up. âWell, good morning,â his usual voice greeted you and immediately gained the attention heâd missed. âYou know, youâre lucky your constitution is as strong as it is. You dealt a serious blow back there.â He continued, a hint of stress apparent in his voice. But maybe that was only to your more trained ear. You were aware of how skilled he was with holding himself back for the sake of others, and that included you.Â
But he was right, of course. But even if youâd survived, the feeling after wasnât pleasant. Your head still felt heavy with exhaustion, not to mention the overpowering feeling of wanting to lay back down and sleep. It took every ounce of willpower you had left to muster up a few words. âCould I have a drink?â Like an automatic request. You hadnât even noticed how thirsty you were, so far having no idea how long youâd been out for.Â
Baizhu had been already on it, handing you the cool cup right after hearing the request. âYouâve been asleep for quite some timeâŚâ He spoke up again, keeping up conversation in order to keep you awake. It wasnât hard to tell you kept nodding off every once in a while. So he proceeded to raise his voice a little then, give you a gentle push while checking your vitals again.
Gentle with his process, he made one final check up and agreed to let his mind rest after. It truly seemed to only be exhaustion from taking the blow of the ritual. Youâd be fine with proper rest, as much as heâd feared otherwise.Â
The cooling drink ran out faster than you would have hoped, placing the empty cup beside the bed. âYou know, I can tell youâre worrying,â voice a little more clearer this time. âBut I feel fine, the drowsiness asideâŚâ You tried to chuckle a little to lighten up the mood. âHe stayed up almost all night watching over you.â Changsheng spoke up before the man himself was able to, exposing his little endeavors the previous night. âBaizhu-..â You were able to begin the all too practised lecture, only to be interrupted by him. âIâm keenly aware of my limits, unlike some,â he allowed a sight to escape. Letting out some of the built up stress from the ordeal. âThat was a trick I do not wish for you to perform again..â He sat down beside you on the bed, brushing some of your hair back with a gentle motion. In the end, pulling you in for a light embrace which was gladly returned soon after. âI think the Funeral Parlor will be in check for some time after thisâŚNo need for another rescue, donât worry.â You hummed, feeling your eyes start to close once again.Â
Baizhu pulled back, feeling your weight start to shift on to him a little more. âThey may be fine, but you..â He laid you down gently, standing back up. âAre not. Which is exactly why youâre going to rest so that no lasting damage will raise its head.â Baizhu explained with the usual firm tone behind his words, knowing fully well that he wasn't going to let you walk this off. But wanting to believe that your negotiable nature wasnât due to exhaustion, but instead out of wanting to ease the mind of the other. âAlrightâŚâÂ
You could see the warm smile on his face before your eyes forced themselves shut. Only feeling the light peck he pressed against your forehead before outstretching his hand to allow Changsheng to climb back up to his shoulders. âRest well, dear.â He said silently, before exiting the room. Now with a little more peace of mind.

___________________________________
âGood morning!â was what greeted you once you entered the classroom.
When you stepped foot into the lively classroom, you felt like someone was watching you. It was Todoroki, he was eyeing you but you ignored it as you replied to Mina, who greeted you.
You smiled at her and she returned the gesture. You strolled past her and sat on your seat, making yourself comfortable.
You felt someone touch your shoulders blade, to which you looked back, being met with heterochromatic eyes.
âGood morning.â
Your lips parted slightly, not quite expecting the greeting to come from him. Once you got to your senses, you smiled sweetly and greeted him back.
âGood morning!â
Certainly, it was a good morning for you.
After a few minutes had passed, Aizawa-sensei came into the classroom to take attendance.
âFor todayâs task, I will be grouping you up into pairs and the two of you must photograph scenarios that are pleasing to the eyes. Deadline will be by next week. Be as creative as you can with your output.â Aizawa-sensei explained, looking at us lazily.
âHow will we be paired up, sensei?â Iida asked.
âWell⌠just be paired with the person sitting behind you.â He replied, to which you automatically turned behind even though you already knew who was sitting behind you.
Todoroki stared back at you which made you awkwardly smile at him as you faced forward.
âIf there are no more questions to be entertained, then Iâll be going now.â
Since no one asked anymore questions, Aizawa-sensei left the classroom. Just like the speed of light, everyone started talking to their partners. You, included.
You faced Todoroki, who was writing down notes in his notebook. You coughed purposely to get his attention, to which you succeeded as he looked up at you.
âSo⌠I guess youâre my partner now?â You asked, and he looked at you, lost.
âArenât we already?â Your brows furrowed in confusion at what he said.
âWhat do you mean? Aizawa-sensei just announced the pairings not long ago.â
He looked enlightened at what you said, apologising. âAh, my bad. Sorry, I thought you meant partners as in lovers.â
You bit your bottom lip, trying to contain your smile but failed. You let out a small chuckle at what he confessed. He looked puzzled at your reaction, titling his head slightly to the side.
âSorry, did I offend you?â He asked, concern written all over his face.
âNo, not at all, Todoroki! In fact, I found you adorable. Itâs fine, I swear!â You waved your hands profusely to show that you were not offended at all.
âAh, is that so? Then, thatâs good to knowâŚâ He replied.
The topic changed and the two of you started to discuss what youâll do for the task.
âWhen are you free?â He asked.
âIâm free anytime. How about you?â You hummed, resting your palm on your chin.
âHmm⌠does Friday sound good to you?â
âThatâs fine with me. Friday it is, then?â
âFriday it is,â He nodded. âBy the way⌠can I ask you a question?â
âHmm?â
âWhat did you mean when you said you found me adorable?â He asked, curiosity in his eyes.
You almost choked on air, not expecting him to ask that. âOh, uh⌠Your reaction was adorableâŚâ
You decided to say the truthâ well, half the truth, that is. Technically you werenât lying, it was true. You found his reaction to be cute, but he himself was adorable, too.
He nodded to himself at what you said. âOh, is that so?â You nodded, and he continued. âThen, can I say something?â
You gestured for him to go on, which he did.
âI find you adorable. Very, very much, too.â
Your eyes widened at what he said, stunned.
Before you could react or reply, the teacher entered the classroom, leaving you a blushing mess as your back faced him.
If you had paid more attention to his facial expressions, you wouldâve noticed the way his lips curled upwards a bit.
(A/N) Hello!! Itâs been a while, hasnât it? I just wanted to say that iâm very sorry for not updating for a long time. My mental health hasnât been the best, and i had no motivation to do anything. I apologise. Iâve gotten way better, so iâll make sure to finish this series! âMai

+18, MINORS DNI
Notes: Reader has the mouth of a sailor, just like me muahaha.Â
You came to your senses when someone grabbed your limp body from what you guessed was the back of the truck, you felt cold, and⌠they handled you poorly as they dragged your feet in the air while they grabbed you by your arms.Â
You felt the moaning of walkers, feet walking on cement, big metal doors opening, but when you thought you opened your eyes you still couldnât see anything, they had placed some sort of potato sack over your head.
âWho the hell is that?â
âWe want to talk to the bossâ, said one of your captors.Â
âNegan is not hereâ
âWe are all Negan assholeâ
âHey gents!â, said a fourth person, âIâm Negan, whatâs up?â
âWe bought a guest that we thought Negan would like to meetâ
âAre you an idiot? you never bring people back here!â, you heard an annoyed voice, and then, the hood they placed over your head was removed, âwell shit! unless they look like that!â. a man was standing right in front of you, he was lean and tall, wearing an indiana jones kinda outfit and a horseshoe kinda mustache, he was⌠middle aged?, you were guessing early fifties. He was very creepy looking
âMy oh my!â, he said, in a very exaggerated way, âand who this might be?â
âWe found her in sector 8â, said one of those clowns trying to be professional, âwouldnât tell us where her people isâ
âIs that right sweetheart?â, he asked
âI tried to tell Thing One and Thing Two that Iâm alone, but they decided to clog me and bring me hereâ, you said, annoyed, he looked back at you, theatrically pretending to think about this âdilemmaâ
âOh I seeâ, he said, âso I guess you didnât tell themâ
âI didâ, you said with a fake smile. Trying to act as you were not scared to death. You were in some sort of factory, this thing was huge. They led you in, to what would be the operation floor of the factory, and oh Gods⌠This was a huge operation, and barely an hour out from Alexandria, well, the town, so maybe two hours or so, you lost consciousness, but it was still early on the day. The thing was fill to the brim with people, and some of them were armed to the teeth, and this main dude looked like a maniac
You could not break
You couldnât tell them what you knew, where you came from, where you were.
âIâm aloneâ, you said softly, âI scavenge for a living, never stay put in one placeâ, you said with certainty.Â
You couldnât help but hug yourself, as a shiver ran down through you when you realizedâŚ
You couldnât see a way out of this one
He analyzed you, looked down at you with piercing dark eyes, seeing every reaction, every movement of your face, he seemed like he could see your very thoughts. He passed one of his skinny arms over your shoulders.Â
âWell, I have to say⌠those guysâŚâ, he hissed theatrically, ânot the brightest bulbs in the boxâ, he whispered to your ear, âsorry about thatâŚâ, he placed his finger strategically where a bruise had formed in the side of your head. You hissed in pain, trying to release yourself from his hold. âWell!â, he said, so suddenly it made you jump, releasing you, âif you are alone in the world, we can remedy that! right?â, he asked those who were near, âwe are The Saviors for a reason!â
No, no, no, no, the more youâll see, the less are the chances of them letting you leave with the information you were going to collect
âLet me give you a nice little tourâ, he offered, you shook your head
âIâd really like to get goingâ, you said, seeing as you were barely on the entrance
âNonsenseâ, he said quickly
âYes it will get dark and I need to get my things and find shelterâ, you said, you took a step back, but immediately felt a thick presence behind you. There was a tall, big guy
Now you were scared, you took shaky breaths, you felt your heart beatingÂ
âNow darling do you really expect me to believe you are out there alone?â, he asked mockingly, âyou donât strike me as the type who would survive out thereâ, you were getting tired of hearing that, âand your clothes are all cleaned upâŚâ, he leaned in, sniffing your shoulder, âis that freakinâ Tide?â, he asked. This guy did not know personal space, and that scared the crap out of you.
âI got luckyâ, you mumbled, âin my last raidâ, you said, but he chuckled darkly
âYou donât have to be afraid sweetheartâ, he said, he leaned in, he was really creepy, âtell me where it is, the place you called homeâ, you shook your head slowly.
âSuch a place doesnât existâ, you mumbled, âIâm alone, wandering, my people are dead, we got overrun, months agoâ, you said quickly.
âWell!â, he said, making you jump, âif thatâs the caseâŚ.â, he spread his arms as you pointed at the whole factory, âyou can join us!â, he said quickly. You looked back nervously
âIs not like you are giving me much of a choiceâ, you said
âFat Joey, leave the lady alone, donât you see you are making her uncomfortable?â, he said simply, the big man only chuckled and backed away a few steps. âLet me show you aroundâ, he said with a crazy smile, he grabbed you by your injured shoulder, it didnât hurt anymore so long you didnât⌠You hissed and that made him stop, so he grabbed the neck of your shirt and opened it until he saw the wound.Â
He laughed again, the very sound made you tremble
âAnd who might have patch you up, uh? if you are all alone?â, he asked
âI didâ, you said firmly
âFront⌠and back?â, he kept going, he grabbed you and made you walk⌠each step you took, each room you saw, each person you watched walk by with a gun, you were getting more and more scared⌠oh gods, this place was a menace.
âWe are dedicated to the protection of communities all over the stateâ, he said, against trying to sound professional, âAs nobody told you before, this place, is the Sanctuary, we, are the saviorsâ
âThatâs just misleading propagandaâ, you said, âyou save shitâ, he laughed at your humorless joke.
âWe saved you darling!â, he said. You got to one of the top floors, to some very luxurious apartments, until you reached a big room, with couches, fancy furniture, a bar even, and existing in it, where there were beautiful ladies.
âThis⌠are Neganâs wivesâ, he said
âWives? like⌠pluralâŚ?â, you asked, disgusted, they didnât even look at you, they kept doing what they were doing, there was one crying in the corner.
âLook I usually donât do this, and Iâm in no position to offer for you to become one of Neganâs wives, or⌠you could be one of mineâ, it was your turn to laugh.Â
âYou donât even know meâ, you said
âWell, you have been out there, alone, carrying some cool ass weapon, you are a looker for sureâ, you winced, this guy was really creepy. but your face of disgust was clearly noticeable, so he hissed and kept going, you humiliated him, thankfully in private. Well, not in private, a woman and the man that was nicknamed Fat Joey were walking behind you closely.
âBe a soldier thenâ, he said, as he kept walking to the inferior levels. âYou will live like a freakinâ Queen, respected, anything you want will be yoursâ
âAnd what does being a soldier entails?â, you asked him, now, you were learning
âYou go and do as Negan commandsâ, he said simply, âOrâŚâ
âDoor number three?â, you asked him, âI wonder behind which door you let me go on my merry wayâ, you mocked
âIf you have a special skill you will become a worker and work for points!â, he said.
âPoints?â, you asked him back, not impressed
âBut you can clearly be a soldierâ, he said. You did not like this at all, this man seemed determined, he was not this Negan person but he was high in the chain of command, if not the second in command, and he wanted to climb up, giving you these creepy proposals. To you, a stranger.Â
You walk back to the inferior levels as he kept yapping about the orders of things and they believed in. And you had dictated in your head, that they were a terrible threat, if they came across Alexandria you stood no chance against them.Â
You came back to the main floor, where the heat of things was.Â
âYou didn't tell me your name darlingâ, he asked, and you calculated that you could not possibly push him down the stairs with a kick and not suffer the consequences.Â
âYou didnât tell me yoursâ, you said back, frowning
âIâm Neganâ, he said simply, you frowned when you looked at him. You stood on some sort of balcony.Â
âYou are not Neganâ, you said, âyou are just some type of henchmenâ, you admitted, you had ears and you were not an idiot. He deadass laughed in your face, but his eyes were like crazy eyes, you had seen a lot of those since the world collapsed.
âHey!â, he screamed, the factory floor stopped and looked at you both, âWHO ARE YOU!?â, he asked out loud.Â
âNegan!â, they all said at the same time. He turned back to you, smiling
âNice cult you got hereâ, you said with a exaggerated smile, ânow if youâll excuse me, Iâd like to get a ride back into townâ, you mocked, âand out of hereâ
âAfter seeing all this you donât wannaâ stay?â, he asked, he leaned in even more, you could feel his minty breath on your face, âYou know what that tells me?â, he asked all dandy, âYou have a camp, donât you? a nice one at thatâ, you cursed yourself for having such a âreadableâ face
âIâm better off on my ownâ, you said quickly
âNo, you see, I donât think thatâs itâ, he said, always exaggerating with his body language, âyou are eager to leave, that tells me someone is waiting for you, maybe a Mr? Or Mrsâ, he said with his hands in the air, âI donât judgeâ, he smiled creepily at you, âwhereâs your camp?â, you looked at him dead in the eye
âI donât have oneâ, you werenât lying, it wasnât a camp
âDamn youâre goodâ, he exclaimed. âLook, I donât wanna hurt youâ, he said dangerously, âI can get my men to squeeze it out of you, I donât want to do that⌠now⌠show me the place you call homeâ, he said, dangerously slow. Your hair in the back of your head stood up, goosebumps down your arms. You shook your head
Who the fuck do he thinks he is?
âIâm aloneâ, you said shakily. He closed his eyes, like asking someone else to give him patience.
âArat!â, he called and a woman showed up, âthis is our new guest, show her to her suiteâ, he demanded. If he thought than a tiny woman was going to make you do anything, he was sorely mistaken, with a kick you made her fall on her ass on the metal stairs, you turned to him quickly, kicking him in the shin, when he folded in pain, you grabbed his head and smacked it against the metal railing
Sounded like a freakinâ bong
âLEAVE ME ALONE!â, you demanded, but now you had like 6 assault rifles pointing at you , Fat Joey grabbing you and pulling backwards.Â
âARAT!â, he screamed, like he was in a tantrum. You looked to your right and the same woman punched you in the face with the butt of a gun. This time, you didnât lose consciousness, but fuck it hurt, she and Joey grabbed you and dragged you through the hallways
âLeave me alone!â, you demanded.
She opened a door and they threw you in there like you were a sack of potatoes, and closed the door behind them. This was some sort of broom closet, no windows, only one door, 2x2mtrs.
Oh now you were truly fucked.Â
Someone came pounding on the door.
âYOU ARE GOING TO TELL ME WHERE THE FUCK YOUR COMMUNITY IS! OR YOU ARE GOING TO JOIN US, OR YOU ARE NEVER GOING TO SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY AGAIN!â, that guy screamed into the door
âFUCK YOU!â, you screamed, âWhy donât you open the door so I can ring your bell a couple of more times, uh!? [YOU MELANCHOLIC CLOWN]!â, you let out a string of ugly curses in your native language, as you tried to kick the door down.
Simon heard you from the outside of the door, so enraged he wanted to strangle you
âShe is just a child, having a tantrumâ, said Gavin, who had witnessed the whole thing, âthe best thing you can do, is⌠let her scream her rage out of her, in a couple of hours, she will be exhausted, ready for a bit more of⌠convincingâ, he said, and left the scene, already stressed and bored of it.
Oh gods, you started to panic, quickly, telling him where Alexandria is was out of the question, and you started to wonder if Daryl had already knew you were gone, and what he would do⌠in some other lights you wonder if they were going to come looking for you, and a part of you, a big part, wished they didnât, because they were never gonna be able to do it without losing people, oh gods, where they even going to know where to look?
Carol saw everything went down, was she going to tell Daryl? Yeah, I mean she didn't like you but she didnât want you âdeadâ, right?. Oh gods what was Daryl going to do? you hoped he didnât âlose itâ much.Â
Oh Daryl
What if you never see him again?
You didnât want this to be the way your story was going to end, you wanted to see him again, see where your story goes, you loved him, you pictured a future, in this crappy world where every new day you got to walk the earth was a mix between luck, skill and fate or something like that. Even then, you imagined a future with him. it involved a nice small house, with a single open space for living room, dining room and kitchen, and one room, maybe two, you imagined youâd have a dog, even though you were more of a cat person, and⌠big windows, and a big garage where Daryl can work on his bike andâŚ
A single tear rolled down your cheek
Oh gods you were scared
Sometimes, even though you didnât admit it to yourself⌠in the corner of your imaginary room youâd put a little crib, although you could never picture anything beyond that, it was silly⌠you had been together together for merely weeks⌠but since the very first moment you saw him, that night where your lives were endangered⌠you were done for, an unbreakable bond was formed between you two.Â
He was the one for you
Two days ago you were having baby-making sex and now⌠you were hold hostage by a freakinâ cult
After testing all the possibilities of getting out, that being through the only door, and failing miserably, you had dropped, tired, hungry⌠and angrierâŚ
But eventually as the hours passed, your anger passed, and left you literally cold in there, the sweat in your skin that had gathered there because of your efforts cooled you in a negative way, and now you were shaking on the floor
And those bastards left you there for the rest of what you guessed⌠was a day.Â
You still got a bit of light from around the frame of the door and a dirty little window that wouldnât allow you to see the exterior, but eventually that shut down as well⌠thatâs how you know it was ânightâ, you could say that you werenât afraid of the dark, you had grown accustomed to the monsters that hid in it, but this dark⌠This empty darkness was something else entirely.Â
Eventually you fell asleep
You were woken up by the door opening, and because of the fear that enveloped you, you remembered the knives you had hidden in your boots, you could still feel them, so you stood still.Â
Fat Joey came in the door, he had a paper plate with a âsandwich on itâ, he offered it to you, and only because of the smell you knew exactly what it was⌠You only looked at his entertained face with a frown.
âWow!â, said Simon, when he saw Fat Joey entering the meeting room, âwhat the hell happened to you?â, he laughed, as he had a footprint occupying the half of his face, because of the kick you had happily given him.
âOur guest did not liked her breakfastâ, he saidÂ
âIs that so?â, he asked, with a mix of entertainment and rage
âWhen is Negan coming back?â, asked Gavin
âIâm Neganâ, said Simon, his counterpart just rolled his eyes.
âThe real oneâ
âHe is playing his game, he will come, soonâ, he looked at Arat, âitâs time we start our own gamesâ
You were not making yourself any favors by punching every person that happened to enter your space, it wasnât going to last, you were starving and you didnât have much strengthÂ
So you were not prepared for when the next group of people came. It was the same woman A rat? Was he calling her a rat? Whatever, with another guy, you got a couple of good licks in, you didnât kill them, or stabbed them of gravity, but you scratched them good, you managed to advance a couple of feet beyond your entrapment, and then, they pushed you back in.
The trio that came to âsee youâ next, were armed to the teeth, and they⌠beat you up
âTell me where your camp is, bitch!â, and others were exchanged.
Now you were laying on the floor, your body hurt so much you couldnât move it, and they had taken⌠most of your clothes, your boots, your jacket, your hoodie, leaving you with a plain loose t shirt and your pants. No boots, no socks
Then A-rat came back
âi didnât want to do thisâ, oh but she stood back and watched, smiling, as they kicked your ass
âYou are enjoying thisâ, they didnât punch you in the face, they didn't want to ruin it for Negan they said.Â
âYeah I gotta say⌠I enjoy seeing how they beat up a stuck up bitchâ, you chuckled humorlessly, âtell me where your stuck up camp isâ, she said.Â
âI can tell you were to fuck off toâ, you offered, and you could tell she was keeping herself from beating you up some more.Â
âTell me where it is, so you can go back to itâ, she said, âweâll leave you aloneâ
âIf you want to go all the way to Atlanta to a run down camp, be my guestâ, you muttered. âIâve been alone since then, monthsâ, you muttered, âI thought DC was the answerâ, you whispered
âI donât believe youâ, she said, âyou look, well⌠looked all fancy and cleanâ, she said through gritted teeth
âItâs not my fault I can put 2 and 2 together and raid a house properlyâ
âWell thenâ, she said simply, âLetâs say I believe you, then join usâ
âSo far Iâm not very convinced about my welcome packageâ, you mumbled, âwhat the fuck do I have to do for you to release me, dammit! I didnât do anything to youâ, you said angrily.Â
âAh there it isâ, she said with a sick smile, âIâll leave you another day so you can think about whatâs been offered to youâ, you only grunted as she left you in the darkness again.
And the next time they left you a bottle of water and a dog food sandwich
You ate it
You donât remember when you woke up, you donât remember when you started crying, you donât remember when you started to lose it.Â
You had tried to keep it together but you couldnât, your body was in pain, and your mind was gripped tightly by fear
But you had eaten a sandwich and slept a lot, and drank water, so the next time they came, you wore a smile on your face and a âfuck youâ in your eyes.
âThere she is, miss stuck up bitchâ, she said
âOh, a ratâ, you said back
âthink about what you are going to answer me?â, she said
âThere is something you can answer meâ, you said, because if you were not going to give them Alexandria, you could give them something else, âthat Toyota Tacoma, with the M2 on the back, where did you get it?â, you asked, she seemed surprised by your question, but then she hid that
âI donât answer SHIT to youâ, you said, but could barely hide her excitement
âHow boringâ, you muttered, she grabbed you by your face then
âAnswer meâ, she said, âwhereâs your people? I bet they are all fancy, like youâ, you chuckled
âYou have no ideaâ, you said, she released you, making you hit your head against the cement wall, âwhereâs Negan?â, you asked, âI gotta say, Iâm curiousâ
âIâm the one asking the questionsâ, she said
âWatch me, where did you get the Tacoma?â, you asked her again
âShut up!â, she said, she raised from the floor, and left you without another word.
If you had to guess, they gave you a sandwich a day, so they gave you two more, and a pill you identified as paracetamol for the pain. So three days or so since they took you.Â
On the fourth day, the door opened again, and when you looked up, you managed to exhale all the air in your lungs.
âYouâ, you mumbled.Â
âHell on earth, itâs youâ, he said with a grave voice, and a dumb smirk on his face
âSon of a bitchâ, you cursed
âItâs you alrightâ, he laughed, âI came all the way from my outpost once I heardâ
âThese bastards donât know who I amâ, you said
âOh but you asked about our truckâ, he said. You exchanged looks, he was amused, you were fucking angry, this rapacious rat bastardÂ
âYou left Popeâ, you accused, after a while, âyou abandoned himâ
âReally? havenât seen each other in over a year and your first thing you recriminate me for is that big whiny bastard?â, he chuckled,
âThe only whiny bastard in the squad was youâ, you said, looking up at him, he really hadn't change a thing, âfound him turned in the bathroomâ, you said
âWasnât even strong enough to end himselfâ, he said, you frowned
âWhyâd you leave him?â, you asked. You never rehearsed what you were gonna say when you met him again, because never in a thousand years youâd thought youâd see him again
âYou know? I donât feel like answering your shitty questions right nowâ, he said mockingly, âbut you can answer mineâ
âSame shit different flies thenâ, you mumbled
âWhereâs your group?â, he asked
âWhereâs your balls?â, you asked him back with a smile, âI have been alone since we splitâ, you said, "I walked all the way hereâŚâ
âI donât believe youâ, he said, crouching until he was on your height, âyou always needed a big man to protect you, since day oneâ
âFuck youâ, you said back, âwhy did you left Pope?â, you asked him
âWhereâs your people?â
âWHY DID YOU LEFT POPE?â, you asked him back, he laughed. You breathed heavily, even if it pained you, your ribs were bruised
âWherever they areâŚâ, he said, âwhoever they areâŚâ, he kept going, âthey cannot take us down, rather they work for us or we kill them, thatâs how it worksâ, he said
âYep, this group sounds like your speedâ, you said, âyou ever only cared about yourselfâ, he only laughed at you
âLook around, at the end of the day, thereâs only yourself to live forâŚâ
âI feel sorry for youâ, you accused, he looked down at you and laughed
âYou are so predictableâ, he said, âyou canât be alone, thatâs why, you have a camp filled with people donât you?â, he was mocking you now, âi bet you are a familyâŚâ, he said with a mocking voice, pouting at the end
âNoâ, you said back, looking straight at him
âYou are gonna like being a savior thenâ, he said, with a smile, âI always saw the excited look on your face when you took fuckers hundreads at a timeâ, he said, âit gets you offâ. he said smiling, âyou can do it here⌠with better machinery, oh, we have all the toysâ, he said
âYou are never going to believe that Iâm aloneâ, you said, âso what, iâm supposed to join you?â
âOh well, Negan is going to be thrilled with youâ, he said, âI know he will, he will have you on your kneesâ
âRiddle me this, who out of the both of us needs a man to protect him then?â, you asked him, wiping his smirk off of his face, âit seems to me that the only one whoâs gonna be kneeling here is youâ, you laughed. He grabbed you by the neck.
âYou'll join us or you will fucking dieâ, he said, he raised you from the ground, having you grabbed by the neck. âYou abandoned our groupâ, he said, as he dragged you out of your cell, âyou never get married to anyone, or anything, do you? always with scaping plans in your mind? well, not this timeâ
âFuck you!â, you cursed, he dragged you back to the main floor, everybody was gathered around a huge oven, you didn't even know what it was called. Even the wives of Negan were there, they loved a show , didn't they?
This wasnât about your community anymore. These were sadist sons of bitches, and they wanted to dominate you and communities alike.Â
The rat was waiting for you, with a sickening smile on her face. Baer put you on a chair in front of the oven, the heat making your skin prickle.Â
âThis is happening because this woman doesnât want to tell us where her people are, so we can save them!â, said that creepy guy, âshe abandoned our beloved Baer in Atlanta, and⌠well, she beat Fat Joey, Nick, Arat and MIckey up and we just cannot allow that!â, you laughed when you saw the bruise you left on his face, this was just bananas.
Arat came for you and grabbed you by the back of your head.
âYou think you're better than us?â, she asked, clawing at you, her nails digging on your skin, your scalp was burning at this point
âOh I know I amâ, you spitted outÂ
âLetâs see about thatâ, she said, the hate, the disdain in her voice, a week ago you had never seen this woman in your entire life. You had never done anything to her, âthinking yourself too good to be a wife of our leader? our savior?â
âOh this IS a cultâ, you groanedÂ
â... or being a soldier?â
âFuck you!â, you said quickly, she pulled your head backwards making you grunt in desperation, âIâm not a soldier, Iâm a friend, a sister, a daughter, a fucking designerâ, you said, â...Iâm a lover, Iâm a fucking survivorâ, you winked at her. Baer appeared in your sights again, he came to her, with a sick smile on his face and a hot iron on his hands
You squirmed, moved desperately trying to release yourself. It was a brand, you could see two letters shining bright orange because of the temperature
âNo, no, noâ, you grunted, but another set of hands came to grab you and keep you still, âNO! NO!â, you screamed at the top of your lungs as Arat uncovered your left arm, she grabbed your hand and pulled, making you show her your forearm, âI swear Iâll fucking put my ax trough your fucking skullâ, you threatened, âof all of you!â
âFor you to never forget who you belong toâ, and she pressed the hot Iron into your skin.
You had never felt a pain as strong as this one, she burned you with a fucking brand like you would cattle.Â
Your scream of pain resounded all over the factory.Â
They dropped you back in that cell, you were so exhausted, your body so traumatized that you felt like it had numbed itself not to feel anymore.Â
And while you were laying there, you looked at your arm, where two initials were now branded on your skin
NS
PCN: Thing 1 and Thing 2 hahaha I want to let you know that everything that Simon said, was suposed to be Negan, I had written this before anything else on this story... SO, it was going to be Negan but I played it both ways with having him infiltrate Alexandria, so it had to be Simon, funny enough... didn't feel the need to change anything... he wants to be Negan so bad its sad

THIS SONG IS SO VERY VERY HUGO CODED.
EASY AS LIFE FROM AIDA
I'm now going to go over my ideas for it, in an over exuberant amount of detail đâď¸â¨ď¸
Lyrics are in Blue
Notes/Thoughts are in white
----------------------------------------------------------
I was listening to the song on repeat while listening to this. Enjoy the rant.â¨ď¸đâ¨ď¸
Tell me if there are spelling errorsđ
----------------------------------------------------------
This is the moment when the gods expect me to beg for help
Don wants him to understand that leaving her for team radical is not the right move. Much like Gothel trying to convince Rapunzel that running off with Eugene was a bad move.
but I won't even try
I want nothing in the world but myself to protect me
He doesn't want to owe her any more than he already does. Nor does he want to look weak in her eyes for not being about to choke down his feelings and move on.
And I won't lie down, roll over and die
He absolutely refuses to let Anyone have the upper had over him. Not Donella because he needed help from her to do what's expected of him. And not Varian because Varian has his heart.
All I have to do is to forget how much I love him
All I have to do is put my longing to one side
He truly wishes for a love and a life that is perfect for him, and he thinks the love can be Varian, and that life could be with Team Radical. But It'd be easier to betray him if he ignores that fact.
Tell myself that love's an ever-changing situation
Passion would have cooled and all the magic would have died
He wants needs stability. He's trying to convince himself that what feelings he has for Varian are fleeting. The strength of the crush he has, is not worth throwing away his life with Donella.
It's easy, it's easy
He has to convince him self that it's something simple and easy to do.
All I have to do is to pretend I never knew him
On those very rare occasions when he steals into my heart
Better to have lost him when the ties were barely binding
It's best to forget any connection they had at all, especially times when they bonded, and Hugo fell for Varian more. It's easier to hurt people you don't know.
Better the contempt of the familiar cannot start
It's better to be agitated that you can't get to know people or have close friends. Not just pertaining to Varian, but possible loves and friendships in the past that he's looked over or walked away from.
It's easy, it's easy
Until I think about him as he was when I last touched him
He will slip up and think back to the time they spent together and how close they've gotten. But when he does, it's so much harder to ignore it.
And how he would have been were I to be with him today
Not only what connections they've made in the past, but what they could do in the future, if Hugo didn't betray them, if they had their whole lives ahead of them, what they could do, what feelings could grow
Those very rare occasions, don't let up, they keep on coming
As he emotionally pulls away from the group more and more, the more he misses the time they've spent together, he thinks of what could have been, the more he misses what could have been, what could be if he doesn't do what he feels he has to.
All I ever wanted and I'm throwing it away
He's only ever wanted to life comfortably with the people he loves.
It's easy, it's easy as life
And then I see the faces of a worn defeated people
He imagines their faces, their reactions when they learn his true intentions and what he's done to them.
A father and a nation who won't let a coward run
(This one us less solid than the rest but)
I see Quirin and Varian's family (Team radical, Raps, Eugene, etc) not taking kindly to what Hugo does. Not letting him get away with hurting the people they care about.
Is this how the gods reward a faithful through the ages?
Forcing us to prove that the hardest things we've done
'The Gods' just refers to a higher power, this can in Hugo's mind, include Donella. In turn, is this how she teaches him that his life with her is easy, what she has him do and the life she has him live is easy. At least compared to the hurt he is going through with Team radical, and what he should do. No choice is am easier choice than a rock and a hard place.
They're easy, so easy
And though I'll think about him until the earth draws in around me
Even if the thoughts of Varian and what could have been haunt him for ever, he knows what he has to do.
And though I choose to leave him for another kind of love
Even though he is chosing to leave, and not join team radical, he is doing it for the love of his mother.
This is no denial, no betrayal, but redemption
Redeemed in my own eyes and in the pantheon above
He tries to convince himself that it's not a betrayal, he's not really hurting them. What he's doing is getting back on the right path. He is redeeming himself in Donella's eyes and in his own because he is returning to what he should have done in the first place, the 'right path'.
It's easy, it's easy as life
It's easy as life

The Sign surprised me with many things, but most probably with how much I like Tharn (he's actually my fav character now), although I started watching the series for Billy đ
Billy is one of my favorite actors of BL series, because he perfectly portrays falling in love, being in love and - what I especially note - also being horny for the object of his feelings đ Billy in SCOY was PERFECT at it. He's like that in The Sign too. All these sneaky glances and open stares, touches, being focused on the other person - the episode is packed with such little things that add up to growing interest and fascination and a love relationship. I love it, I love it when characters act believable with their feelings, and this IS believable. I thought that Billy would definitely be able to handle it, that he would probably be the main character in this relationship and the burden of carrying this relationship would rest on him. And, oh boy, was I wrong đ Because Billy got the perfect partner. Babe as Tharn is *chef's kiss*, what a babe indeed! Let me start by saying that Babe, as Billy is very attractive. He has such a non-obvious beauty, that is, at the same time he is very masculine, but he also has a very delicate, almost feminine beauty, an aura⌠I don't know what to call it. It's so hot! I love how he plays his character, making Tharn a tough guy with a principles, but at the same time there is such innocence and kindness about him, even a little child-like naivety. I'm not surprised at all that he is liked and evokes protective feelings in everyone (including me). His being in love for the first time in his life is absolutely wonderful, and so real, it has a very "high school, first crush" vibe with being easily flustered, offended, blushing and being turned on by anything, even a voice. That's so sweet! đ§ I'm not surprised that Phaya is so focused on him and keeps pulling his pigtails, who wouldn't be! Tharn is just so lovely, he can stand up for himself, he's tough but also charmingly innocent and straightforward, teasing him is pure fun and he's so cute when he's flustered. Phaya had no chance from the beginning đ¤ˇââď¸. Especially from the moment Tharn's voice broke when he said his name after pulling him out of the water đĽşđĽş
Anyway: Billy and Babe are my new beloved couple, Saturdays this year are somehow exceptionally rich in well-matched pairs of actors and characters, I mean, there was Laws of Attraction, then Love in Translation, probably more and now them đĽ°
(I'm also curious about Tharn's reaction to Phaya's voice in the bathroom scene. Because this reaction, yes, it could just be Tharn being horny, but Phaya speaks with a changed voice and Tharn immediately becomes lost in it and submissive and I wonder if there is some supernatural aspect here đ¤ )

torchwood fanfic resources
so i'm a chronic livejournal archaeologist, and fixating on 2000s media is particularly fun for me because it means i get to go digging on lj / dw / old fanfic forums. below you'll find some of the excavations from my torchwood fixation (give it up for month 6!) it's pretty much got every comm i've ever stumbled upon and found useful, or thought others would find useful. it's largely fanfic-oriented, though there's some more generalized comms, too. i hope you guys enjoy!
i was originally going to include a link to my reclist on this post as well, but it's still a wip, so i'll just post that separately in the future.
general disclaimer: most of the content here is from 2006-2013 or so. period-typical attitudes may pop up in places. i'm not sure if most modern tw fans have witnessed the original fandom at all, but i felt a need to say this anyway, because i've seen some icky stuff. i've warned for anything notable. gwen bashing in particular may unfortunately pop up in some of these comms, especially in the comments, so tread carefully.
if you're new to probing through old lj comms, remember to always have the wayback machine on hand, because you're going to run into a lot of purged accounts and seemingly lost fics, but sometimes you get lucky and something's been archived :)
as of the date i'm posting this, all of these comms are still accessible, but if you're from the future and some have been deleted, again, go ahead and give the wayback machine a try. additionally, livejournal has a system that includes 'cross-posting' in which, if authors choose to (and the majority of them do, to get their fics more visibility), fics get posted to multiple comms at once. so chances are, even if one comm gets deleted, the contents will survive through other comms. kind of like how reblogs continue to exist even when the original blog is deleted.
finally, ctrl + f is your best friend if you have a specific ship/character/trope you're invested in, especially in comms with less than ideal tagging systems. if a comm does have a substantial tagging system, you can find all of its tags by adding '/tags' the end of the urls i've provided.
ok... let's begin :-)
assorted livejournal communities
â torch-wood: this is essentially a torchwood subreddit. it started before the show even aired, and one of the highlights of it is episode reaction posts (easily accessible on the right side of the lj) that document how everyone immediately reacted to the eps, which is pretty damn cool, fandom-history wise. only thing i should mention is there's quite a lot of gwen and owen bashing in the comments of some of those reaction posts, so just be wary of that if you love those two like i do, 'cuz it's a bit of a bummer.
â torchwood-three: this comm is an extremely cool then-daily newsletter (that still updates sometimes?!) that compiled as much fan-content as it could find into cleanly organized lists. the posts made immediately after new episodes aired contain reactions, discussions, meta, theories, new fic, fanmixes, just about everything. very very cool to go back and see the way the fandom was thinking as the show was airing and as they were getting to know the characters. here's a direct link to all posts made in late 2006, during the airing of s1.
â torchwood-fic: exactly what it says on the tin. desktop layout is easy to navigate, tags are all there!
â torchwood-fic's profile page also features a list of affiliated accounts that's pretty handy. it's worth taking a peek at, in case i've excluded anything in this post that you might be interested in.
â twgenrefinders: handy dandy comm where people would ask for fics of a certain variety & be treated with reclists, or hyper-specific fics... pretty cool stuff, ive got several threads bookmarked to sort through the links later. ofc, please note that some of the things people asked for might be stinky. particularly i've seen a lot of ppl requesting gwen bashing fics :/
â twstoryfinder: cousin to the above comm; here, people would ask for a very specific fic they'd lost. it's kind of fun to find fics through because you get someone describing memorable scenes + hyping it up, so it's different than just a standard summary. this one still gets posted on, too, which is crazyyy.
â tw-unpaired: for gen fics! no romance allowed! there's some good character studies + friendship fics in there. stuff's tagged by character + authors are even tagged, in case you find one whose writing you particularly enjoy. this is v useful for when someone's main journal has been deleted.
â torchwood-decaf: a comm where janto is BANNED. nah i'm kidding, it's not anti-janto, it was just made because janto is so huge that it overshadows everything else. pretty smart, tbh; wading through the sheer mass of janto content can be tiresome.
â jack-in-cuffs: for dark tw fic, or uber smutty tw fic. as a fan of dark!fic, there's some goodies in here, but of course it's not everyone's cup of tea. most of the writers included warnings, but if you go a little further back, some people weren't as courteous; navigate with caution.
â jack-owen: for fic featuring our captain and his (second favorite) doctor. i know this pairing's kinda divisive nowadays, but i enjoy it a lot. the comm's got a dismal tagging system and, ngl, i don't truly like any of the fics there (i'm very intrigued by jack and owen's relationship but i've never found fic that really does them justice, and i still haven't figured out how to write them myself) - but i'll include it anyway.
â odetojoi: for fic featuring owen in the middle of a janto sandwich, for those of us who are allergic to women (/sarcasm). there's an oddly impressive supply of fics of the three of them, and a good chunk of them can be found in this comm. (everytime i see this comm i think of a certain abbreviation found in p/rnogr/phy... but i digress)
â halfwee-and-tea: for ianto x owen fic. haven't gone through this one much, truthfully. i hate when comms have no tagging systems agh.
â owenharper-fans: a comm for the saddest undeadest bisexualest doctor around. also features a few burn appreciation posts, which is nice to see pre-pac rim era. mostly just features a shit ton of owen fic, particularly owen x ianto fic. mostly sufficiently tagged. if you need me once i post this, btw, i will be balls deep in this comm.
â the pro-owen alliance: another owen-focused comm - i think this one was made directly in response to owen bashing. haven't combed through this one much but it's got a fair amount of fics.
â house-of-cooper: a gwen comm! made in response to gwen bashing. haven't gone through it, but i'm glad it exists.
â torchwoodcoffee: ianto comm! this one's hugeee. the majority of it's janto, but the pairings aren't tagged, which is really frustrating. about 6k fics on there, though! just untagged. fff.
â tw-femficfest: a comm for fic about any and all of the torchwood ladies. tagging's cleanly done & there's some handy fic round ups, too.
â tw-femslash: yuri!!! wahoo!!! a comm for f/f tw ships. there's quite a lot of fic on here, but unfortunately there's no tagging whatsoever. sigh.
â tw-classic: a comm for 'all things series one and two of torchwood'. was made after s3 and was popular around s4 out of nostalgia for the golden age <3 good amount of fic, discussions, etc.
â torchwood-house: this comm is, like, letterboxd, but for torchwood fanfic. basically a group of individuals who thought of themselves as having Good Taste would read Good Fic and then go in this comm and write a post about why they recommend it. it's well-made, easy to scroll through, and sells the fics v well, and it kinda gets you more excited to read them when you get to see someone hype them up with Fancy Words. it's like a little torchwood yaoi bookclub. we're eating quiche
â tw100: a drabble challenge; this thing's full of 100 word drabbles. ngl i hate drabbles but i'm throwing it in here anyway
â touchyerwood: i love kink memes... i love kink memes less when my favorite character/pairing is unpopular. the pac rim kink meme's been a blessing bc i'm a basic ass newmann - the torchwood kink meme? not so much. it's got a fair amount of shit, though, so maybe someone else will appreciate it. this one isn't the original, that one's been wiped off the internet, to my chagrin. keep in mind before digging that people in kink memes are horny & gross. that's your warning.
â reel-torchwood: for any and all movie aus... ok i have a bone to pick with this comm. i'm a big movie nerd, i love film, i've seen dozens of films i've thought would make good aus - i combed through this and there is not a SINGLE fic in there that piqued my interest. NOTHING. needless to say my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. i'm sure my experiences aren't universal though.
â torchwoodslash: ah, remember when we called it slash? gee whiz. i'm not big on this comm, it's not very user friendly + there's like no tags whatsoever so it's extremely hard to navigate. enter at your own risk & good luck, lol.
â rounds-of-kink: this isn't a torchwood-exclusive comm, but it's got a sizeable torchwood tag, which can be found here. pretty organized tagging system; makes me happy.
â tw-declassified: this comm was mainly used for running a 'torchwood bingo', which, i've been in other fandoms that do episode bingos and it's usually cute... this one confused me a little so i didn't bother peeking around too much, but still a cool little bit of fandom history.
â writerinadrawer: this was an annual torchwood writer's challenge that ran for four years... it's kinda hard to navigate but it does have some fic in it so i'm putting it here.
â dmarley-recs: a recs journal someone ran for compiling torchwood fic; it's got a l o t of recs on there, largely jack/ianto.
ok and straying from lj briefly for two other places to find fic...
â kink_bingo: this is a dreamwidth comm, and it's not torchwood-exclusive, so i've linked straight to the torchwood tag. this comm has a livejournal equivalent, but for some reason the tw tag is pretty barren on that one? not sure why. but on dw it's got a fair amount. the tagging system is rough, it tags fandom and kink but not pairing, which is irritating, and every post is hidden under a cut AND makes you go through a discretion barrier every single time (but probably only if you don't have an account? i'm not logged in) which makes navigation a pain. but i dunno, more smut, if you want it.
â whofic.com: this site is for doctor who fic, but it's got a very substantial amount of torchwood fic. i do not, however, like the formatting at all. i'm being overly nice; i HATE the formatting. it's very reminiscent of fanfic dot net but, like, worse. it reminds me of adultfanfiction dot org which was a NIGHTMARE to use. but! there is torchwood fic there so it's going in here.
aaaand there we go! that's all i have. i hope these prove handy! enjoy :D

SPOILERS FOR OPPENHEIMER BY THE WAY BECAUSE I HAVE WAY TOO MANY THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS MOVIE AND WANT TO DISSECT IT
Okay so I know there are some very reasonable and valuable complaints, comments, and criticisms about Oppenheimer and how it handles the ACTUAL victims of the war, martyrizing Oppenheimer, an arguably very gray character in reality for more reasons than the atomic bomb and...trying to poison his mentor. You know. The basics.
THAT SAID I AM GOING ABSOLUTELY FERAL FOR CILLIAN MURPHY'S PORTRAYAL OF OPPENHEIMER LIKE I HAVE A 3 IN 1 DEAL FOR HYPERFIXATIONS RIGHT NOW I THINK BECAUSE WE HAVE THE ACTUAL MOVIE, CILLIAN, AND THEN OPPENHEIMER. AGH. LOSING MY MIND. PICKING APART EVERY SCENE AND DETAIL WHILE ALSO GUSHING ABOUT CILLIAN'S PERFORMANCE.
on that note here's some things I worked out about the movie, or rather, my takes on them for those curious (some of these are definitely a stretch, but I like seeing how far I can push a metaphor once I find one, so here we go):
Lotta controversy about the "I am become death" quote during the sex scene, which, fair. I can see why they included it though, upon reflection. In the moment, it just feels like a strange foreshadowing of the bomb itself, which did Not resonate with me and seemed fairly jarring, but upon closer inspection, I think the relevance of that quote in *that* context is that this is the first person Oppenheimer lost. Jean needed Oppenheimer, and he blamed himself for her suicide (or murder, maybe). This was the first time he "became death, destroyer of worlds"; the first marble in the bowl, which mirrors Oppie's reaction to the bomb's actual detonation quite well, too, I think. Something terrible has just happened, and yet the expectation is that Oppenheimer shows up and pretends all is well and he isn't horribly damaged, just martyring on.
SECOND
The orange from Rabi might be a bit deep or I might be a bit stupid. Oranges tend to symbolize positivity and aid, so being told to eat one by a friend in his most vulnerable moment is a kindness, hence some symbolism there. I did unpack this deeper though, say, such that oranges need to be peeled to get to the sweetness, and they are one of the sweetest citrus fruits, though they maintain their tang. This represents perfectly how the orange delivery felt in that scene; sweetness from Rabi in a moment of vulnerability, the orange peel gone, the bitter and trauma numbed exterior of Oppenheimer stripped away for just a moment before the sour slammed back in full force. Also just. Really stretching it but oranges being segmented could both represent a fractured mind AND the different perspectives on Oppenheimer as a whole and his reputation to this day.
Oh and General Groves when telling Oppenheimer he's essentially done with him but will ..try? To keep in contact? And update him?? He's buttoning up his coat if I remember right, mirroring his guard getting put up as he ends his amicable dealings and negotiations with Oppenheimer, adding layers and making himself less vulnerable. Oppie, meanwhile, smokes as the quiet, socially acceptable way to perform an anxious ritual.
Also the RAIN. Don't have this one fully unpacked yet and maybe never will but Cillian in an interview mentioned that Nolan described Oppenheimer as "dancing between the raindrops" and this has only half clicked with me but oh well here we go. The basic idea is likely that Oppenheimer doesn't abide by just one grouping of people or their ideas, or hop on any flow bound for one particular destination. Rather, he dances in the space between; in the uncertainty that looms closer towards the ground the further things fall. I think this works decently with what I've listened to and read about Oppenheimer as a person, saying he'd follow recent physics, always growing impatient with the current field he was in and seeking something more...I don't like the use of this word in relation to science but "trendy." I guess the dust particles and whatnot in the headspace sequences work in line with the whole rain theory too in terms of how Oppenheimer doesn't just think about the interactions and the space between, but lives and breathes it as the space between the raindrops; between those that make the biggest splashes, as he gets caught in the ripples. Also given his anti-war rhetoric throughout the movie I feel like there's maybe a fire/water thing going on with him trying to quench the bomb he created but ultimately failing? Who knows. Maybe it's just rain.
Anyways here's all the ramblings I did to myself to reach these conclusions. They are incomprehensible.

Hey hey đ I hope everythingâs okay! What are your thoughts abt the new MW3?
have so many opinions so I know I must give a warning for spoilers
A/N: This is a summary and personal opinion, so piss off if you get hurt about what I say
MW3 Spoilers ahead
Started the campaign somewhat early in the day off the early access thing and I have to admit that as someone who loves to read the last pages of books for possible spoilers, I avoided the internet until I was able to play it myself. And oh do I have opinions.
Now, as someone who has been involved in Call of Duty since 2009, I was 6 years old (my cousins played it, but I have great recollection and memories from them) I have to unfortunately admit this one was bad. The storyline made no sense. The problems that were written for this part of MW were not resolved however they created even more problems. The way past characters were filled with real human emotions, the crying, the anxiousness and the evil and vile acts that were presented in OG times are simply thrown out the window this time around.
Yes we lost a well beloved character and to be honest, as much as the next person I am upset and saddened, however, the death was foreseeable. We know Soap, Gaz, Roach and Ghost die in the OG. So for me, Soap's death came as no impact, it was shit how they didn't give much grief around it as in the OG but it is what it is and now he is dead. Sorry it sounds mean but it's the truth.
Now, let's talk about Makarov and the 'No Russian' mission.
In the original, I remember that everyone around the world was in shock by how evil this mission was. I mean it, this certain part even went on international news and so many tv networks talked about how violent it was, just look it up. It is one of the many reasons why COD is titled a 'Violent' game. But this time around, the mission for me at least wasn't as shocking as the original. In the OG, the way it all came down, how it even had a warning before playing that certain mission was proof enough of how violent and evil it will be for its players. This time around, I truly believe they downgraded, Activision and the entire team behind COD went soft for this mission, and it is a reason as to why I believe many, including myself, find this reboot so shit.
The game went soft, there I said it.
Soap's death:
I won't shine a huge light on Soap as like I said before, the death wasn't something that was heartbreaking. However, I will talk about the reactions to the characters death. For this, I will compare the OG and the 2023 reboot. In the OG, we see and hear Price have such a huge reaction to his death, which is very reasonable. Ghost as well, I mean they all lost their teammate and a man who fought until his very last breath, someone they trusted with all. Reboot was shit, we don't see even a single outburst of any emotion that isn't heartbreaking besides their cold way of dealing with it. Take in consideration they know him well, he allows Ghost to call him Johnny, Price to call him sunshine and Gaz to call him brother, all this and not a 'SOAP, NO NO NO SOAP' ???? yeah, not in character. I think it was in retaliation to what the women in the COD community have given, we give them so much emotion when writing non canon emotions or actions of them that I strongly believe they didn't want to make it canon that these men do have more than a soldier mentality.
Much nicer moments:
Now, on a cuter note. I love the relationship we see between Price and Farah as well as the moments we got with the banter between the 141 men.
MW 2019, we get introduced to two young people who will become great leaders. Farah and Price. A woman who has so much potential and a man who also has immense potential in his field. Then, if we see how much they've grown, taking in account they met when both weren't in their now respective ranks, we can get a glimpse of how deeply their bond goes. "Old man," she calls him, something I found so adorable and how she is his option of snipers. Who do you choose for this mission, he gets asked multiple times since the reboot and most of the time, when needed/available, Farah is that answer.
The banter, we love to see it and I love it how in moments of darkness, we got a glimpse of the man with the skull mask being just any other man who says jokes or teases his mates. When Gaz says that Price's face could've melted(along the lines bc I simply forgot the exact quote), Ghost responds and it gives me the impression he isn't just a cold soldier. Something along the lines of "If you ask me it would've been an improvement," when his captain nearly died because of the gas, made me chuckle, its a glim of a man who does find humour in dark spaces but it makes other chuckle with him.
The way Price called Soap 'Sunshine' was to me adorable. I often call my friends honey or babe bc I am fond of them and to hear Price say it made my heart melt. 'Brother' when Nik called Gaz that, gosh the most cutest of them all. It shows these men are truly bonded by memories, trust and that life no one outside of that team will understand. 'Boss' Another cute nickname that Price was given my Ghost, a glimpse that yet again, there is respect but also friendship, something that will stay in the field, even if it isn't in the guidebook.
Overall:
I think the rating the game was given, which was 4, is very reasonable. Take in mind, Activision wants to expand into more games with the remaining characters. Some of the good guys in this campaign might become the bad guys, like the now criminal Cpt. John Price. Some villains are wanted to be the good guys, to have some character development. But I truly do believe Activision and COD in general should do a better job, it's lacking in creativity, and a steady storyline. I fear most gamers will abandon the game and move on and that COD will become just another shit game from the past.

I Start Over With You
[SOLANGELO FANFIC]
summary: After the great battle against the forces of Gaea, Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter had formed a long-lasting alliance. Everything had gone well, and everyone was ready to start anew. This included Nico, who, after confessing his feelings to Percy, was prepared to open a new chapter in his lifeâperhaps the happiest one the Fates had ever written.
note: the chapters will be updated every Wednesday. If you want to read upcoming chapters of the fanfiction in advance, I invite you to follow me on Patreon. [CHAPTER 15]
NICO STOOD STILL, GAZING INTO THE DARKNESS THAT SHROUDED HIS NEW ROOM. That room seemed to have grown colder after the message. He sighed before lying down on the bed, staring at the ceiling of his room and thinking about that one boy who could unsettle his mind with just one smile. He tossed and turned, wanting to try to really sleep for the night.
He fell asleep around three in the morning, with Will's sad eyes on his mind, somehow looking shattered. He had never seen that expression on that sunny face before. He was certain that whatever Will hadn't been able to tell him that night in the woods must be something important to so affect the son of the sun god.
With his head full of thoughts, he managed to fall asleep. It didn't seem like a long sleep to him; it felt like just five minutes, but the alarm clearly stated otherwise. He got up with a grunt, dressing and preparing for the first day of school.
He brought along a few things, some pens and a notebook, hoping they wouldn't start lessons right away on the first day.
The outside was kissed by the cold morning rays, slowly awakening the city. Nico took a deep breath of that air that seemed to smell like true Rome.
Lost in his memories, he made his way to the school. There was already a hustle and bustle of people on the streets accompanying younger children, and then there were older kids in groups making their way to the building. The building looked very welcoming; he hoped the inside would be too.
Finding his classroom was a real challenge. The school was larger than he had expected. But once he found it, he went to sit in one of those desks at the back of the class, near the window overlooking the courtyard.
Soon, the classroom began to fill with boys and girls, all cheerful and excited to start the year. They filled the air with warm and contagious laughter, asking each other how they had spent their holidays, ignoring the war that had just passed.
Then the bell rang, and with it came the teacher of the day. She introduced herself as their literature and Latin teacher, and then went on to outline the program they would be tackling throughout the year.
The morning seemed to fly by, perhaps because it was just an orientation day. Nico wrote down some notes on a piece of paper, names and class schedules along with the names of the books to bring.
During the break, someone had tried to strike up a conversation with Nico, but it died down when he mentioned which camp he came from or that his father was Hades. He was already used to those reactions; he had seen them in the eyes of his companions at Camp Half-Blood, although by now they had gotten somewhat used to it there.
He left in the afternoon, heading towards his new home. Outside the building, his sister was waiting for him, wearing the usual purple T-shirt from the camp. He smiled at her, hugging her as he always did when he saw her, then inviting her to come up.
Still, the apartment was empty; he had nothing to offer her except running water. He would make sure to stock the pantry the next day.
At the table, they began to talk a bit about school, how the first day had seemed to him, which according to Nico had been considered "normal" or rather, it went more or less as he expected. He also mentioned those two boys who had come to talk to him. Hazel shrugged, accustomed like him to the same welcomes.
"Speaking of more pleasant things" his sister changed the subject. "Jason sent a message to Reyna a little while ago, he said he'll come tomorrow to see how the work is going" she told him.
"Good" he managed to say, not expecting him to arrive so soon.
"Anyway, aside from Jason, what happened yesterday?" she asked, with that kindness that seemed to have been forgotten. Nico sighed, leaning back in his chair. "Do you know Will Solace?" he lowered his gaze slowly, wanting to lift that weight off his chest.
"Yes, by sight" he replied. "Has something happened to him?" she asked, immediately concerned. Her brother shook his head, crossing his arms over his chest.
"No, he's fine" he reassured her. "We spent time together, as friends" he told her everything, about the week in the infirmary, then about the canoeing, archery and even fencing lessons. He didn't spare her a single detail of those days spent smiling again. He also told her about the awkward conversations with friends, and there Hazel had to refrain from blushing, in those times people were really very explicit about certain things. "Then there was capture the flag" he said with a sigh, also telling her about that night when he had held his hand in the dark. "And that's not all" he lifted his gaze, resting his arms on the table. "On the hill, before coming here yesterday" he began, recalling in his mind that warm and pleasant memory. "Well, he kissed me. Right here" he pointed to his cheek, which still seemed warm.
Hazel remained silent, nodding at her brother's words. She knew that look; it was the same one she had when she got lost in memories of Sammy's smiles. "Nico, do you like him?" she asked.
The son of Hades didn't answer immediately, but the answer was obvious, clear as a fresh water spring. "Yes, Hazel, I like him" he confessed, unable to meet her eyes. "I like him in a completely different way than I liked Percy" he said, lifting his gaze to her amber irises. Pluto's daughter pursed her lips slightly, she wanted to see him happy finally, much like everyone else. She wanted to do something, but she knew she couldn't interfere in her brother's life; she would never forgive herself. "Nico, you have to tell him" she reached out, taking his hand, locking her eyes with her brother's dark and brooding ones.
"Hazel, I can't" his voice trembled; he had been there once before, hating the pain that emotion brought. "Who's to say he feels the same way?" he asked more to himself than to his sister.
Hazel didn't respond, Nico's question was a difficult one.
"No one tells you" she replied. "But you should try, from the way you've talked about him, it seems like this Will is looking for a different kind of relationship" she smiled. "Trust what you feel and tell him" the girl added, placing her hand on his wrist.
"I don't know, Hazel, I don't want to lose him as a friend" he looked at his sister, revealing his biggest fear.
"Trust me" she smiled.
Nico sighed and lowered his gaze. He knew Hazel was right, and so were the others. In a corner of his mind, he also wanted to talk to Will about his feelings that had developed over the course of the summer. Even Zephyr had warned him about his own feelings. He had to be honest and talk to Will, he couldn't keep it inside. "I'll try"
Before it got dark, Hazel said her goodbyes, hugging him one last time before leaving the apartment.
The boy went to his room, putting on something more comfortable, then glanced at the books still sealed in plastic wrap on the desk. He hadn't had a chance to take a peek yet. He randomly picked one, removing the protective film and started reading a few pages. They weren't bad, the words were large and spaced enough for him to read without them starting to blur together. Of course, it was still a struggle; his vision started to blur after the first two lines, but at least what he read more or less stuck in his mind.
The next moment, he remembered the schedule for the following day, where he had marked the books he needed to bring. He put them in his backpack, which suddenly felt heavy.
He resumed reading, occasionally flipping through some pages, eagerly awaiting Will's Iris message, and as he had thought, the air folded in on itself, revealing a window into the son of Apollo's room.
"Hi" Nico greeted.
"Hey!" Will replied, instinctively spreading his lips into a contagious smile. "How was the first day?" the boy asked, taking a seat. Nico shrugged, closing the book. "Normal, I think" he replied, briefly recounting what he had also told Hazel, mentioning those guys. Will couldn't help but let out a gentle laugh. "I've already told you, when you greet someone, you have to smile. Just like I do" he gave him a quick demonstration, still stretching his lips into a smile. Nico rolled his eyes, shaking his head, wanting to keep up the banter. "I swear, I tried. Smiles don't work even with me" he sighed theatrically.
"Then they must be blind, because you have a nice smile" he said, without any hint of joking. Will really meant it.
Nico was taken aback by that statement, then chuckled. "You must be blind too, it's not true that I have a nice smile" he replied.
"I like it" he said seriously. Once again, Nico fell silent.
"I like yours too" he murmured, trying not to lower his gaze due to embarrassment. Will smiled gently at him. "Thank you"
They remained silent for a few moments, with Will occasionally parting his lips as if to say something and then closing them as he reconsidered. It was Nico who broke the awkwardness, clearing his throat first.
"Soâ" he said. "Will I ever get to know what you wanted to tell me?" he asked, with a slight smile. Will's lips trembled a bit, he had been pondering it all day, even discussing it with his mother, whom he couldn't hide anything from. She had advised him to tell Nico, just like his half-siblings from Cabin Seven.
The boy took a long sigh, reorganizing his thoughts. Nico stared at him, patiently waiting to hear what he wanted to say that night, when they had accidentally held hands.
Will met his gaze, his heart beating loudly in his chest. He was convinced it would eventually burst out of his chest. "Wellâ" he began, stuttering a bit. "The thing, Nico, is that Iâwell, in a way, I admire you" he said, cursing himself for being so cowardly, but he couldn't bring himself to tell him the truth, not there, not in that barbaric way. He would tell him one day, for sure, but he would do it with the real Nico, not with a projection of himself that couldn't even touch.
Nico looked at him, slowly lowering his shoulders and slightly parting his lips as if to utter a weak "oh". A part of him was disappointed to hear this, he had hoped Will would say something else, something he had thought and hoped for all day. It seemed he had been so wrong.
The two talked a bit more before Nico asked to end the conversation, saying he was tired and that the next day would be a very heavy one. It wasn't entirely false, but he couldn't bear another moment looking at those blue irises, not now that he was sure Will considered him only a good friend.
"Shall we talk tomorrow?" he asked before ending the conversation. Nico didn't respond; at that moment, he wasn't sure if he wanted to spend another night talking to Will, who "admired" him only. "Maybe" he replied vaguely, his gaze now lowered and his eyes slightly stinging. "Will you call me?" he asked, extending his gaze in an attempt to see those dark eyes again, which he knew didn't only contain sadness but also joy.
Nico simply nodded. "Goodnight, Solace" he said, trying to sound stronger than he actually was.
"Goodnight, Nico" the boy replied, his voice sounding more subdued, he should have told him what he really thought.
The son of Hades looked away, quickly passing a hand over that steam-made window, thus wiping out the light from his room.

âď¸âď¸ *Tosses stars at you for the ask game*
(ask for a directorâs cut on any of my fics!)
!!! thank you for giving me the opportunity to ramble :D
SO for Write Our Names in the Wet Concrete, which I just updated a couple days ago so it's still very much on the mind, I have many many feelings about casey junior (as I'm sure anyone can tell lol I'm not subtle). specifically, I have many feelings about his relationship with his mom, bad future!cassandra jones.
I know there was some stuff from the rottmnt crew on the former bird site or something (?) about how cassandra died when casey was pretty young and he was mostly raised by future leo, but I personally do not subscribe to that. not for his backstory in wonitwc, at least. as much as i love dad leo, it's important to me that he's just as much a jones as he is a hamato, especially given that he uses the jones last name.
anyway, many thoughts about the wonitwc iteration of bad future!cassandra jones under the cut, bc i uh. definitely rambled haha ^.^
(also, important note: a lot of my characterization and backstory for cassandra is probably inspired - both consciously and not - by the mean teen fighting machines fic series by @radishhqueen, which is an absolutely incredible character exploration series for april and cassandra that made me fall in love with cassandra jones as a character. please go read it if you have a chance, it's SO good!!!)
so in wonitwc, after cassandra found casey as a baby and decided to raise him, she fully committed. it definitely wasn't an easy decision to take a step back from field work, but a baby is a 24/7 job, and the shift to handling the more organizational/admin side of the growing resistance (as mentioned in chapter 10) helped her feel less like she was costing the group by making others fight in her place. she never regretted that decision, but I think there were a few times she came close. maybe when a mission party would come back having lost someone because they didn't have enough eyes, maybe when a scout never returned after running into a trap that she knew she could've spotted.
as a parent, i think that cassandra was, honestly, not too different from what we see of her in the show lol. a bit more even-keeled with age, but still wholeheartedly committed to everything she put her mind to and not shy about it, which is why i find it extremely funny that casey somehow turned out a Good Kid (TM) who listens to authority (mostly) and respects his elders (unless theyre wrong). he's definitely got moments when his temper breaks, like when he yells at teen leo in the movie, but on the whole, his brand of feral is less⌠loud, i guess. not sure that's the best way to describe it but it's all my brain is coming up with right now haha.
part of casey's comparatively calmer personality can probably be attributed to the turtles and april, who also played large parts in raising him, but it's not like they're chill either. the final movie opening didn't get to really show this, but in the storyboards for a previous version of the movie's opening, it's shown that future leo has still retained a lot of teen leo's goofiness, though it's hard to say how much of that is performative. at any rate, i interpreted that as showing that the turtles were still themselves in the bad future, at least in some small part.
speaking of the turtles!! my general headcanon is that they and april informally adopt cassandra as family at some point in the future, and joke that she's a distant cousin since the hamato clan started as an offshoot of the foot clan. they get very emotional when cassandra decides to include "hamato" as part of casey junior's full name, which is a real whiplash moment from their reactions when she told them she was going to name him directly after herself lmao. anyway, casey junior grows up knowing that he's a part of the hamato clan, in name and spirit if not by blood.
cassandra was definitely grateful for the help raising casey junior, too. i don't think she ever really considered herself a single parent - raising casey was very much a team effort, even if she was his primary caregiver. cassandra is the only person that casey ever used a parental title for, though. i think she first started teaching casey to address the others by their titles out of ingrained tradition (foot clan was traditional in an oddly random assortment of ways lol) but then let him keep doing it bc it was funny. this does not help casey's Good Kid (TM) image haha.
cassandra's feelings on becoming a hamato, meanwhile, are initially mixed. on one hand, nothing brings people together like an external threat that's in the process of ending the world, so she's bonded a lot with the remaining members of the hamato clan in the apocalypse. on the other hand, she was still in the midst of finding herself after leaving the foot clan when the apocalypse hit, and the invasion triggered by her former cult definitely did not help with that. especially not when she had to put down the krang-infected foot brute and foot lieutenant. i debated taking that out, since it got darker than i expected, but it felt fitting for the tone of the chapter, so. sorry, cassandra :P
i think that cassandra's relationship with her sensei's was very much a "it didn't change anything, but it matters that the love was there" situation. they did terrible things, but they were her only family for a long time, and they cared about her. i don't think she ever fully reconciled with that. there's a reason she never really talked about them to casey junior, besides the fact that reminding people in the apocalypse that she was a former member of the clan that started said apocalypse by summoning the krang would've been a terrible idea.
but. there were times, especially when casey was little, that cassandra would catch herself wishing she could show him off to her senseis. the brute would let casey ride around on his shoulders while the lieutenant would teach him how to fold perfect origami. in another world, maybe those would've been casey junior's eccentric grandpas, visiting on alternate weekends to spoil him. fighting splinter for the position of "favorite grandparent," lol.
maybe something like that could happen far in the future of wonitwc, depending on how things go. we'll see!
#darkscales answers stuff#wonitwc#rottmnt#rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles#casey jones junior#cassandra jones#thank u for sending this ask i am always ready to ramble about fics haha#i have SO many emotions about casey jr and cassandra jones in this au#cassandra jones is his mom and she raised him!! that's his mom!!!

some info / headcanons about the au where dorothy is a student at shiz. please note i am ignoring mcguireâs take on quadling country in the wicked books. my take is based a little bit on baumâs original version mixed with personal headcanon. the ruby city, royal ruby ballet, the ruby & bronze emporium, and library of lurline are my own creations. this au is request only.
dorothy was raised by her aunt emily and uncle henry on a cherry tree farm in quadling country. they also have smaller sections for red apple trees and strawberry plants as well. with her guardians blessing she sets up a little side business making and selling various cherry, apple, or strawberry based foods and homemade jams as well.
when she wasnât on her familyâs farm she enjoyed spending time in the ruby city, which boasted very lovely architecture of marble buildings with ruby red / bronze accents. generally considered one of the most beautiful cities in oz. it is an hour and a half journey from the galeâs cherry tree farm.
some notable places in the ruby city include the royal ruby ballet ( the best and most prestigious ballet company in oz ), the ruby & bronze emporium ( a shop selling beautiful and various creations crafted from materials from the ruby & bronze mines ---- this is where dorothy's guardians purchase her ruby slippers ) and the library of lurline ( a grand library named to honor the lost queen of oz )
like most quadlings, dorothy wears a lot of various shades of red. she also wears lots of white and pinks as well.
at shiz university, dorothy becomes fairly well liked by her peers due to her sweet and caring personality though she isnât nearly as popular / influential in the way galinda or fiyero are. she is still well regarded and admired.
she joins the choir club and the lgbtq+ club.
her thoughts on elphaba: of course the color of her skin is a bit of a shock but dorothy wouldnât have an over the top dramatic reaction and she would get over it very quickly. she admires elphabaâs passion and strong sense of justice.
her thoughts on galinda: itâs hard to not admire galinda, dorothy finds her to be very funny, she also feels thereâs more to her than meets the surface.
she thinks both of them are beautiful.
her thoughts on the wizard: like all of oz she believes that the wizard is a mysterious and very powerful magical being.
knowing how passionate elphaba is about injustices against animals she finds it very odd and out of character that she would use magic to purposefully mutilate monkeys so this plants a seed of doubt about the wizard / madam morrible.
