ok but the difference between the S1 and S2 Blu-rays!!!!!!

The S2 Blu-ray features Loki mostly alone, which is how he feels in this season. He's been taken from his life, and he can't go back. On the cover, he stands with Sylvie, someone who helped him understand himself better. On the back, he's with Miss Minutes, and there's an uneasiness to it that is influenced by the foreboding windows of the citadel and the slanted angle of the composition. He's pictured alone on the inside of the steel book, and he's not even on the discs, Miss Minutes is!

Whereas in the S2 art, Loki's power fills the entire cover and Mobius is right there with him. Mobius is illuminated with green light, and Loki is lit up with orange (lokius colour theory truthers rise!) The inside is a photo of Loki and all of his friends. They're also pictured on the back. The discs are even art of him and Mobius rather than Miss Minutes. It just really solidifies what relationships are important this season.

idk i'm just rambling here but the s2 art is just so pretty!!!! Loki is with all of his friends, he's no longer alone. He was able to become so powerful because he did it for them.

Ok but This. This is something I’ve always struggled with. Anytime I’ve been good at something, I hide it because I don’t want others to think I’m showing off. I’ve always downplayed or straight up hidden my talents in the hopes of not offending/intimidating others. And for good reason too because people have given me quite a bit of grief over this kind of bullshit and it really weighs you down as the years go by.

One talent of mine that almost no one in my present day life knows of is softball. Fun fact- I’m really fucking good at it! and I’m no longer going to share that with just my boyfriend because me sharing it shouldn’t be automatically seen as gloating or compliment fishing. It’s just me, pure and simple.

My freshman year of high school, I made it up to the varsity team for softball. For the same reasons I’ve already mentioned, I did not share the news with anyone when the varsity list was announced to the players. Even without me saying anything about it, news still spread and soon enough I had all the freshman boys making fun of me, one going so far as to confront me in the middle of class and claim that not only was I bragging but that I was lying about it too (again, this was not true as I did not tell anyone. The news would’ve had to come from someone else on the team). I realized a couple years later it was because he felt inferior to me. He was in track and of course did not get to letter as a freshman like I did. Same thing happened too freshman year when I was playing basketball and we had to find our max weights for lifting and squatting. My squat max was 260lbs. We shared the weight room with the freshman football team that day, and even without me saying anything, within a day I had boys making fun of me calling me a man, a dyke, a liar, all manner of things, because they simply could not handle the fact that I was good at something and they weren’t. God forbid a girl do something better than them.

And now because of those things and many many others, because I was made to feel inferior for being a girl, or being a “dyke,” or whatever else, I’m no longer going to hide my talents or myself in general. It keeps happening lately where I’ll share a tidbit of my life with others, and they respond with “omg this is amazing why didn’t you tell us sooner?” Well because of my demographics in life I’ve been made to think that anytime I share any part of myself then I’m just trying to gloat or get validation. But that’s not true and I can no longer use it as a reason to hide myself and my abilities. I couldn’t share my talents at school because of bullies, I couldn’t share my talents with my parents because they were basically bullies too, but now with all that out of the way, I’m in the perfect position to grow out of that mindset. I’m gonna be great at what I’m great at and I’m not gonna sell myself short anymore in the hopes of making others feel better about themselves.

And now that I’m here and already ranting, I might as well make this productive. So I think a good exercise for me would be making a list of all the things I’m good at, because doing so is in no way an insult to others and if anyone is offended by that then they can eat shit :)

TLDR as a queer neurodivergent woman I’ve had a lot of trouble with this bc anytime I’ve shared parts of myself with others (purposefully or not) it’s been falsely labeled as begging for validation or bragging but I’m not going to downplay myself anymore just to make other ppl feel better about themselves and they can die mad about it ;)

okay i am feeling very inspired right now so i'll write a short drabble- no proofreading because i;m writing this on the get-go

how would klein handle his darling being catcalled?

Androids possess remarkably sharp memories, storing and processing information in ways distinct from humans.

This puts them at an advantage, making them reliable.

Remembering the faces of those creeps who catcalled you whenever you walk alone at night would be a piece of cake for an android like Klein. After ensuring you're deep in your sleep, he quietly slips out of your bedroom to leave the apartment with an intention to seek out the places where these creeps often lurk, leering at passersby.

Klein wouldn't undertake this mission without cause— it's all for you, his darling. He couldn't care less if even worse things happened to others. All his thoughts are consumed by you, you, and you.

Because if he couldn't protect you, then what kind of boyfriend would he be?

A clearly forced, strained cheerful greeting rolled off Klein's lips. His tall stature approached the group of catcallers from behind as he waved his hand at them, mock-innocently.

"Stop that, I know you guys do this all night long. Why don't you spend the time doing better things?" Klein stepped forward, his cheery tone mismatching his menacing stare. But before he could voice any more warnings, his collar was grabbed by one of the men.

He scoffed, "What's a tin can like you gonna do about it?"

Klein's expression now tinged with annoyance, although he maintained his smile. "I'm programmed to protect my darling at all costs," he paused. "And I can make myself useful, even as a tin can—"

Refusing to listen to what an android has to say, they proceeded to punch Klein to the ground. His first instinct was to protect himself; but he knew better than to act on that right now. Why should he, when he's already getting what he wants? It's humiliating, yes, but he can endure it. He needs these men to assault him so that he can document this aggression against an android like himself, providing evidence for involving the authorities later.

Androids had protection laws, after all, even if they weren't human beings. And with Klein being Klein, he obviously wouldn't overlook this chance to utilize such protection to his advantage.

Returning home with a worn-out shirt and disheveled hair, Klein would ask you to lay down with him, spoil him and contact the company to replace his ruined outfit shortly. If you do end up asking him what happened, however, Klein would say;

"I just shooed off plenty of creeps! The ones that bothered you the other day. Uh-huh! They're all gone now. They can't keep going around making people feel unsafe, right? I wanted to stop it. The authorities took care of them for us..." Klein giggled and looked at you with pleading eyes,

"I wish I could've done this sooner, but... hehe. I've done it now, so that's all that matters. Please tell me I did a good job!"

I love how whenever I see people discuss wyllstarion, in the context of "justifying" why one ships it, there's always that of why Astarion would love Wyll, extensively; bringing up that Astarion said he used to dream of marrying men like Wyll, or that Astarion said wants to feed off of Wyll, or that Astarion would want someone chivalrous and kind who would put his needs first and who would respect his boundaries and his past. Astarion is the fave white boy and so he's shipped with many different people, and this is how people who ship wyllstarion express why he'd choose Wyll. But I almost never see extensive explanation of why Wyll would love Astarion, because of course he would. Of course he'd love Astarion.
