Receber um elogio tão carinhoso e espontâneo de Lucas, era algo que ela não sabia lidar propriamente. Toda a graça de ver as imagens postadas no instagram hackeado se esvaiu. Sentiu um incomodo em seu peito e um peso no estômago. Inconscientemente, levantou o olhar para as peças em questão daquela história, sentindo-se mal e extremamente empática por Evelyn. “Thats… That’s horrible. She doesn’t deserve it.”

“Ah, eu não me importo não. Me divirto horrores, inclusive. As quinta-feiras eu faço aula de fit dance lá na academia perto da faculdade, são só queridas da terceira idade e é extremamente legal!” Disse animada. A forma como Lucas demonstrava um sutil carinho em todas as suas falas com ela a fazia sentir seu coração derreter um pouquinho mais. De repente, uma súbita animação tomou forma em seu coração quando se lembrou que ele estava hipoteticamente solteiro. “I’ll text you then.”

“Sim, acho que meu senso de direção não era dos melhores ainda...” na verdade até hoje Lucas ainda era desengonçado e sem muito senso de direção, por vezes se tacando em portas por ai. “Ah eu acho que uns seis? Ou sete? Não era tão novo assim, mas também não era velho...” fez uma expressão pensativa “bom, o que importa é que meu dente cresceu e só fiquei com a experiência traumática mesmo, mas acho que faz parte da construção de caráter!” Lucas olhou na direção de Marianna, achando peculiar a fala dela. “Ah, mas isso não importa, você é engraçada mesmo!” Deu de ombros, balançando seus pés dentro da piscina. Não conseguia imaginar como as pessoas não poderiam achar a loira engraçada, lembrava perfeitamente de ter rido algumas vezes quando ela visitou seu dormitório para hackearem dona Marianna. “É, por isso fiz o que fiz...” assentiu devagar, lembrando de como havia sido horrível ver Evie tão quebrada por causa de alguém.

“Aulas de fit dance?” perguntou interessado, “minha vó faz zumba! Ela vive dizendo que eu deveria tentar também, quem sabe assim adquiro mais coordenação motora. O que você acha?” A opinião de Marianna era muito importante, na verdade, lembrava de como ela havia o incentivado a pegar um cacto para cuidar e agora ele já tinha três! “Ótimo. Nem acredito que vamos nos ver novamente sem ser sob o pretexto de hackear alguém hipoteticamente morto!”

Marianna gostava de pensar que era uma pessoa de muita sorte. Estava vivendo um bom momento da sua vida, conhecendo pessoas ótimas pessoas novas e se sentindo acolhida. Ainda estava sentada à beira da piscina, com os pés balançando na água, sentia o sol aquecer sua pele.

Tentava, no entanto, focar nas coisas boas que aconteciam em sua vida e não na sua pequena desilusão amorosa. “Beam, você sabe o que nós vamos almoçar eu já-” Falou suavemente, até notar que não era Beam que estava se aproximando. “H-hi, Lucas.” Disse em um sorriso tímido, tentando fingir que jamais, sob qualquer hipótese, teria desenvolvido um interesse maior do que de amizade pelo rapaz. “Que coincidência, né?”

Do you think Casey Marie would be upset by how long it takes for her to meet the babies, since there adults when she meets them meaning she missed out on their whole childhood

During the years which Casey is leading the resistance (and winning!) she sets her mind to the goal of getting New York back so she truly doesn't think much about the matter.

She definitely feels bad about it though after being victorious. She can't help it tho because it's just a fact, she did indeed miss out for a big part of the tots lifes, she can't change all the time that has passed.

That doesn't mean that she will forever be bitter about it though, it is a sad passing thought from time to time but it goes away when spending time with her family, all complete and together in the end!

“I mean,” El says, from behind the blindfold, with way more patience than Max currently has for Mike’s bullshit, “I can’t find him.” She sounds worried. Badly worried.

Max can’t blame her. “You found Billy fine just yesterday.”

“I know,” El says. She sounds so miserable that Max instantly feels like a shit for saying anything.

“Is there something we can do to help?” Mike asks. Max hates that he said it first. “Do you need it quieter?”

Dustin turns to Lucas and shushes him, loudly, with a finger to his lips. Lucas shoves him in the shoulder.

“Try looking for somebody else,” Will suggests, tucking his knees up in front of him on the couch. Somehow, they all ended up in Mike Wheeler’s basement for this. Again. Max still isn’t sure why they always seem to default to here. “Somebody you know you can find. That way you’ll know if the problem’s with you, or with Billy.”

El pushes the blindfold up on her forehead to give Will a long look. Max kind of wishes she could borrow Mike’s power for a second or two, just so she’d have some idea of what that face means.

Will just looks steadily back at El.

“With all the other weird stuff going on? My money’s on Billy,” Lucas says, to El, ignoring Dustin giving him a shove back.

From the little grateful smile El beams in his direction, Max wishes she’d thought to say that first, too.

“Can the Mind Flayer even have two spies?” Dustin asks, which is, honestly, a really good question. “It can’t be affecting Heather and Billy. Right?”

“It did control all of those dogs at once,” Lucas says.

“Demodogs, Lucas! How many times!”

“I’m just saying. Who says it couldn’t do that to people, too?”

“Max?” Mike asks, and Max realises with horror that he’s giving her a look that almost seems concerned.

“I am not worried about Billy,” she warns him. It’d be stupid to try to convince Mike of all people that she’s not worried at all, not now that he’s obviously noticed. “But none of this sounds good. Even if we still don’t know for sure that it’s the Mind Flayer, I think it’s time. We should tell the others.”

She looks around at El, at the boys, and can’t say she sees much disagreement. “Barbara’s premonition – the mall fire’s happening tonight, right? The Fourth of July? We’re running out of time. And whatever it is, there’s definitely something strange going on.”

“Always is,” Will mutters, under his breath.

Unsure if anyone’s asked you this before, but since Ganondorf was close with the queen, does that effect his feelings toward Zelda at all? (also sorry if this has been answered before, my time online has been spotty)

I also can't remember if anyone's asked me about this because I've been yelling about it in other spaces!! I can't find anything about it here other than my piano/hair/twinrova-related headcanons, but, in short: YES. YES IT DOES. sorry for yelling this is another one of my favorite eidolon headcanons

So I have a lot of thoughts about this which I can happily break down but generally speaking, I really enjoy writing Ganondorf and BabyZel's relationship as kind of tragic, in that they are (in the way that I approach them, at least) characters who could have been very good for one another.

Unfortunately, (my) Ganondorf does not have the emotional skills to properly cope with the loss of someone as close to him as the late queen was, and does not have any real experience spending time with children. Both of those circumstances put him at absolute odds with Zelda, despite her having fundamentally more in common with him than anyone else in the cast:

Born into a role you didn't ask for

immense pressure and expectations from a very young age

being Othered by way of your society's religion

being isolated from the community you're intended to lead

All of which he had in common with the late queen, too, and is indeed what made their traumabond uniquely their own. But additionally, now he and this tiny princess both know how it feels to know your birth mother died as a direct result of your birth.

For Ganondorf, though, he doesn't think about it much. Twinrova has always been transparent about not being his birth mother, but he's never heard anyone else speak of her, and he assumes that is by design. For Zelda, there is open scorn for the loss from her father, and castle full of people who loved their queen and miss her every day.

For Zelda it's just this one ghost haunting every aspect of her life, all the time. That's something Ganondorf could've helped her navigate, because despite him not being told about it, he's certain there are people he knows who knew and cared about the woman who bore him. But unfortunately he, too, carries a quiet disdain -- but he knows it's irrational, and Impa has pointed out that it would upset the late queen to see it.

So it's this weird line he toes of 'This is my friend's baby, who she loved' and 'This is my friend's cause of death, which I hate', and it mostly comes across as polite indifference toward her, which may or may not be worse than just hating her outright.

I have a blurb drabble thought vomit about a moment between them regarding this exact thing. I sent it to some friends, but I could post it here. I'm not sure if it will make it into the comic, but I like it lol

Me, playing along at home: Girl, quit lying 😂. Number one, when you were in the Pretty Girl seat (for like three weeks before you were promoted to Weird Girl), never did you ever wear anything remotely sexy. Number two, thirty seconds ago the cameraman decided to shoot you just sitting there doing nothing so America could appreciate your perfect jawline and cheekbones. Number three, you are absolutely Match Game’s Mae West and not only do you very well know it but also nobody’s trying to make you forget it. 😂

I'd like to introduce to everyone this horrid thing I created about a year ago but haven't shown many people yet (probably for the best).

This is Baby. AKA The Monster. AKA Sight Tremendous and Abhorred, AKA Vile Insect, AKA A Thing Such As Even Dante Could Not Have Conceived, etc, etc. It's made from bits of scrap fabric I scrounged from various sources and is roughly the size of a human toddler. Its design is based on Mary Shelly's original descriptions of Frankenstein's creature.

But that's not all! Behold!

You can dissect this little abomination to reveal a full set of crocheted, knitted, and scrap fabric organs, all hand-stitched by yours truly!

It has a heart, stomach, lungs, liver, small and large intestine, kidneys, bladder, and, of course, a brain! So it can ponder the horrors of its own existence!

I used this pattern by Less Than Three for the heart. I ended up felting it because I screwed up most of the stitches (I was relatively new to crochet at the time). The result was a bit of a blobby mess, but oh well.

So yeah. This thing lives in my house now (my family hates it). I have yet to reap the full consequences of my hubris.
