The funny thing about the PJO cabin system is that everyone's always all 'oh the twelve' this and 'the twelve' that but that's absolutely not even remotely accurate. To start, right off the bat it's thirteen, not twelve, because they don't count Hades. But not really because before Percy, there were no big three kids, so we're down to ten active cabins already but it's actually eight because Artemis and Hera don't make demigods.
And of those eight, Mr. D is stuck at camp (thus not really making new demigods all that often) and his only two kids don't even sleep in a cabin, they sleep in the Big House with him.
So, pre-Percy, there are seven active cabins at Camp Half-Blood:
Glee club, the Jocks, the Nerds, the Geeks, the Farmers, the 'Sketchy Kids' and the Popular Kids.
Or, in other words, the Apollo, Ares, Athena, Hephaestus, Demeter, Hermes (and the unclaimed kids) and Aphrodite cabins.
What's cool is that you can already see the cabin dynamics in the show. For example, the Athena cabin allies with the Hermes cabin for the numbers. The Hermes kids plus all the unclaimed kids? It's the biggest cabin in the camp by far. It's a battle strategy. Luke and Annabeth's close relationship is just the cherry on top for Annabeth. It'll be really cool to see how the show develops the differences in the cabins during the series.

Marble hornets x Slendermansion AU but instead of Hoodie and Masky being proxies they also live in a small cabin in the same woods and are constantly trying to sabotage the creeps plans. Hoodie learns Jeff is supposed to kill some random family and follows him there to purposely set the home security system off and Masky jumps out of the closet and tackles Jeff. They all run away to their own homes afterwards when the cops are called. The Operator/Slenderman could put a stop to it if he so pleased, but finds the shenanigans amusing.
#creepypasta#marble hornets#mh#masky#masky marble hornets#Tim Wright#hoodie#hoodie marble hornets#Brian Thomas#Jeff the killer#Do you think Alex is a proxie in denial who keeps having to get dragged back to the mansion#Since Brian's alive so we might as well resurrect the rest of the cast#Is Jay in this small cabin or is he just desperately wandering around Rosswood with his camera trying to find these two homes#Since Totheark has started posting vlogs about how he beat up random local serial killers that have been evading the police#For months. Years. Decades perhaps#The video starts off a peaceful nature documentary#It starts off peaceful nature documentary#then three seconds later the blaring distorted sound of the alarm is is in your ears#And Masky is on the ground beating up Jeff#And ofc there's ominous codes and messages implying that there is a mansion they live in in Rosswood#And what about what happens to Tim after he finally returns to his normal state#Does he still stay in the cabin? Does Hoodie bring him to wherever Jay is staying for the night?#Cause clearly leaving him unconscious in the woods with a bunch of serial killers is a bad idea especially with their history in this au#Who knows really#I'm stuck on the imagery of a very tired EJ having to handle dragging Alex back to the mansion#Cause he keeps trying to kill Proxies “in training” (aka the ones infected with Slender Sickness)#And yes I copy pasted these tags from a reblog I made for another reblog on this post#I felt they belonged here too

Thinking about how Percy is trying not to be 'special' from the beginning. Thinking about how out of place he feels. Thinking about Luke telling him, when he first arrives at camp half-blood, that this is the one place where, for the first time, he's just like everyone else. Thinking about Percy's prayer to his mom, how he talks about finding belonging and real friends.
Then thinking about Percy entering the Poseidon cabin for the first time, and Chiron's voice-over telling him that as a forbidden child, he is singular, even amongst demi-gods. Alone, again.

I don't know what to think about the price of this 1980 "storybook cottage," according to the real estate description, b/c it has 1bd, 1ba (which is separate from the house, and called a "wash shed w/some bathroom facilities.") Located in Coupeville, WA, the asking price is $315k + $39mo. HOA.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Enter the living room area. Lots of windows, so it's light and bright. The wood stove is the only heat source, but there is electricity and water to the house. (The description says that the heat source is a wood stove and fireplaces, but I don't see any fireplaces.)
Tumblr media
Next to the living room area there's a ladder to the bedroom on the 2nd fl., and a little kitchen.
Tumblr media
This is cute. I suppose that you can use a cooktop, and there's a microwave on top of the little fridge, which are included in the sale.
Tumblr media
There's a sink, but I'm not sure about a water heater.
Tumblr media
The stairs have a cute branch decor. If there's electricity, I would put in electric heat. There's a 30 amp hookup for an RV, also.
Tumblr media
Upstairs there's a loft bed and a tiny home office.
Tumblr media
I don't see a heat source up here, though.
Tumblr media
This is actually cute.
Tumblr media
Outdoors, there's a large open storage structure.
Tumblr media
And, this is the wash shed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What is the little square thing connected to the electricity? Is it a heater?
Tumblr media
Well, there's a sink & a composting toilet, but I don't see a shower.
Tumblr media
Is that a tub? There are other outbuildings, also.
Tumblr media
The property is 4.71 "established acres." I don't know what that means.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's a local trail system and the description says that the new owner can make their own. There's also access to a community beach.
Tumblr media
Look at how cute. If there's hunting allowed, it would be a deal breaker for me.
Tumblr media
This is weird- are those the neighbors' names? Looks like this is one of the largest properties. I think that the little house can be expanded and improved upon.

I am not immune to making more ocs and @drizzledrawings announced the cowbians contest so I am, of course, a lost cause.
So, meet Bonnie and Anabel!!
Bonnie ran away from home at a young age after growing increasingly frustrated with her overbearing father. She bounced between various gangs but almost always ends up on her own again. So, for the most part she wanders on her own taking on odd jobs to make money.
Anabel is a shifter (that's the little ferret you see) who was orphaned young and forced to pickpocket and pawn off what she steals to make enough money to get by.
One day, Ana picks the wrong pocket and gets on the bad side of a local gang. Bonnie, unwilling to let a child get shot, steps in. The situation escalates and the two are forced to go on the run together.
Bonnie is not happy about having to essentially babysit a child at first, but after travelling with her for a while (and learning that Ana can turn into a ferret), she warms up to Anabel and becomes very protective of her, like an older sister of sorts.
Bonnie is then determined to give this girl as good a life as she can give her and the two are near inseparable.
