Acerola

She’s one of my favourite characters from the games, and I’m thoroughly happy with how she was handled in Pokeani. Fun, caring, mysterious, not scared of a single ghost. I’m really happy to have seen more of her after her Ula’ula Arc debut, and be an excellent match-up for Kaki in the League. Already miss her and her shenanigans with Kuchinashi/Nanu.

Sun&Moon episode 94 is one of the best Ghost Pokemon treats in the entire series, such a huge variety of different ghosts were shown and they actually did some interesting things such as Banette literally turning people into dolls. The locations were pretty unique as well.

Ho and Sui’s carefree reactions to all the scary things are just the kind of cute stuff I love. But of course, no one is without weakness

Honestly, Suiren has such troublesome twin sisters. It's a good thing she does have that switch that turns her extra mad, she'll be able to handle them fine when she flips.

I honestly appreciate SM094 so much nowdays, esp. when I know more about past horror-episodes Pokeani has had in its time. Mumagi's skill is so perfect. And this was a fun focus episode of Suiren and her relationship with her sisters. Ho, Sui, care more for your safety. Geez.

I'll watch one more :D Oh Hikers....

Since Satoshi is a huge fan of his, he begs Professor Kukui about attending the event, which puts Kukui in quite a spot when he realizes Satoshi might figure out that he is the Royal Mask. It's been decided that Satoshi and the others will put on a play at the Pokémon School. As the play begins they all act their parts, albeit in a slightly nervous manner, but then the Rocket Gang barges in, having stumbled over a copy of the script that Satoshi dropped earlier. As a Digimon fan, this just immediately made me think of the Dark Masters arc. I can’t be the only one? Not saying its a reference because it’s not that specific thing but, I just immediately thought of it. Also...

Vibes to both OS series where Misty/Kasumi and Brock/Takeshi got turned into dolls, and to Digimon when Piemon turned everyone to dolls. :D (Except Takeru and Hikari).

Anyway real hyped for Halloween/Pumpjeen episode! (I think Pokeaniverse equalent of Halloween is called Pumpjeen, named after Pumpjin and Halloween. Need someone to confirm it.)

Aaaahhh @its-whitetomorrow You got me thinking with your reblog addition to full summary...

Hitomoshi/Litwick isn’t really listed in the VA cast for next week’s episode (sm094) but... if it is there, voiced by someone in the cast.. the ghost world could very well be related to that same place that BW trio and Rocket Gang almost got sucked into....

I mean... it’d be cool, thou it’d mean they’re all dead with no hope of survival lol. It’s a theory alright!

What other ghost worlds would there be in Pokemon? I don’t think there’s been many introduced. Is there any talk of it in Sun & Moon pokedex entries? Of any ghost Pokemon? Litwick evolution line aren’t really Alola-native, thou they can be obtained through Island Scan, so I don’t think it’d be farfetched to see them. Thou it might be unlikely. But still, I’m so curious for the preview tomorrow now. It’s gonna be an amazing Halloween isn’t it?

Anyone else got some ideas? I’d love to hear!

I’m so very excited ;V; Also, last night while watching the Halloween episode of XY, Pokeaniverse does indeed call their version of Halloween a Pumpjin Festival. No Pumpjeen, just Pumpjin. That works :D Guess once Halloween arrives, Pokemon fandom’s equal saying would be Happy Pumpjin! :D Love it!
