A visit to the beach (circa 1553)

Back when I was still named Mimitan, I was born by the sea, nearly atop the sands if not for the dock. My parents would take me to the shore whenever they could, and this winter-- winters being warm in the South Seas-- was just after my second nameday. I don't recall, but I'm told I threw a fit when they tossed on my hat and prepared to make the short walk home. To think I was once even smaller than those pictures show... I feel like a palm tree in comparison!

Animedia in 2018 had a cute double page article about "the wonderful family-like relationship between Acerola and Nanu" (and an interview with Acerola's voice actress)... (ahhh that relationship arrow from Nanu to Acerola saying, "a hassle, but important" ;_;)

Pocket Monsters Sun & Moon: Appreciation Week, Day 2: Your favorite characters - Bonus round!

Acerola

She’s one of my favourite characters from the games, and I’m thoroughly happy with how she was handled in Pokeani. Fun, caring, mysterious, not scared of a single ghost. I’m really happy to have seen more of her after her Ula’ula Arc debut, and be an excellent match-up for Kaki in the League. Already miss her and her shenanigans with Kuchinashi/Nanu.
