If there is one thing I want from Pokémon Horizons japanese marketing, it's us getting confirmations on how Rakua, Rakurium, and different character names are to be romanjified. Err, you know, in alphabet, not katakana/hiragana/kanji.

If I hate anything, it's me using wrong terms for characters and locations. Dub opted for Laqua and Lakurium, but I don't hear any sort of L for those in japanese version, despite hearing clear L for Liko, Lucius, Lucca etc. But I admit it could be conditioned hearing, like laurel/yanni lol.

I am absolutely curious how dub will do Rystal, because I am convinced it comes from Crystal. So making her Lystal would be, well, not accurate lol. But I fear that is what dub will opt for. Despite Lucius & Rystal sounding better as a combo of names. Like Liko & Roy.

We know Rising Volt Tacklers was written exactly that way in a japanese magazine. Thus I keep calling them that. We also know Landau was written as Randou in a merch, so uh, that's something I struggle with LOL. Ludlow, Randou, I guess Randou is a real name, and Landau is not? Man it's hard sometimes lol.

Does anyone else have opinions on how certain uncertain characters and locations should officially be called in japanese version? 🤔 Do note I am well aware japanese doesn't have La Li Lu Le Lo, thus all are written with Ra Ri Ru Re Ro. But japanese does often pronounce the L correctly in names where it should be an L. So, yeh.

Bets on whether Spinel will end up going insane like Gibeon sorta did once he finds Rakurium?

Like many have suggested, there is a high chance that things will go badly at Rakua. The ingredients for the impending disaster have been laid out: prophecy of black Rayquaza and White Zygarde indicating an upcoming doom, Spinel manipulating and very clearily preparing to betray Gibeon, RVT having done all they can to finally reach Rakua... and the fact that the kids aren't full power level yet.

Something WILL go wrong. And I am scared to find out how. Will it be akin to what's been shown in the opening now? Or worse? Or "better"?

Man, it's gonna be one heck of a February.

I feel Gibeon's recollection of events is flawed, because if I came across my friend surrounded by weird gas and acting out of his mind, I would have some concerns too.

The Explorers weren't there in Kitakami.

Did it even get mentioned during Area Zero arc? Was there any chance of Onyx and Sango having heard that?

Something about that "btw Liko is decendant" scene feels off...

Anipoke_PR has released concept art of Amethio's younger self. The little child and probably a bit younger than his current self. We did not see the design on the right in the ep itself thou. Wonder if we'll see it later, or if that is a casual outfit of his from before joining the Explorers? Anipoke_PR doesn't say.

HZ083 is pretty good for Amethio. Also shows different views on what exactly happened in Rakua. Gibeon has his own views, Rystal her own.

Makes me wonder if we'll learn Lucius' own view on what happened.

Roughly talking about how latest ep has new updates in the opening, and how it shows Pagogo's bond with Rystal, and asking where/who Liko is reaching out to.

Seems to me they want us to pay attention to this.

There is no evidence whatsoever so take this little throwaway idea as just a little... fun(?) idea. Related to Spinel. Contains some info learned from latest ep, hz083.

What if Spinel arranged for Amethio's mom's accident 👀

The idea is STUPID, I know, but with Spinel having ties to Crave, being the only one in Explorers Gibeon himself recruited apparently (rest were through Hamber, also trained by him), it kinda feels like he would do anything to get his hands on Rakurium.

One thing I am certain on right now is that Spinel is a skilled manipulator, is using Gibeon to get to Rakurium's source, and is gonna double-cross Gibeon in Rakua. And for some reason Agate is in on it.

Why is Agate in on it...

And why is Crave all friends with Spinel. How did those two get on terms.

Maybe Spinel's entire motivation gets revealed in this final act of Rayquaza Rising arc.

Couple things regarding Amethio's childhood now that I've found more info on dialogue:

Amethio and Soublades being confirmed to have grown together is so sweet, sniff...

His mom was confirmed dead, from traffic accident? And Hamber raised Amethio after the accident. Explains why he cares so much for Amethio.
