Captain of the quidditch team, he and jimin are best friends even if the duo couldn't be more different. A hopeless romantic, denies jimin the pleasure of taking him on his love haunts. Smart in school, loyal and kind, he is the perfect boy, and you noticed, dear Merlin if you did. Since Jimin had introduced you both, you seemed to stumble upon him everywhere you went, only to realize, in front of a butterbeer that you both have fallen hopelessly in love.

Plays Beater in Quidditch, he and his bff jungkook are the power couple of the School. He's a player, the worst, famous for having broke so many hearts it's hard to say his name around the Castle without hearing a girl cry. Proud Gryffindor, he has colored his hair bright red for his house once and liked it so much he decided to just keep it.

Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw, if you've a ready mind, Where those of wit and learning, Will always find their kind;

The smartest of his house, he's the brightest achievement of the Revenclaws' since its foundation. Headboy, captain of the quidditch team, is also known for being the number one answer when asked people about their first crush at Hogwarts; if you say you never thought about Kim Namjoon as your lover, you're lying.

Or perhaps in Slytherin You'll make your real friends, Those cunning folks use any means To achieve their ends.

Looks tough, has a soft spot: you. Befriending the boy in your second year, you both have grown inseparable; surviving your teenage years with him by your side had you know one thing: people should know better than to mess with you. Your ride or die honestly.

Looks innocent, is lethal. Hates quidditch and everyone who plays it. Gives this mysterious, narcissistic boy vibe; bad for him, you're worse. Being the first who had the guts of talking back to him when he was being petty, he liked you instantly, but it's not like he can tell you, so you're stuck in this enemies-who-wish-to-be-lovers thing. People call you Queen and King of Slytherin, you can't change my mind.

You might belong in Hufflepuff, Where they are just and loyal, Those patient Hufflepuffs are true And unafraid of toil;

You thought Hufflepuff were lame till you met this boy; still shocked that he wasn't sorted into Slytherin you catch him one day petting a Thestral in the forbidden forest, a smile on his face and suddenly you realize why. Getting to know Kim Taehyung had been a dark and difficult ride, but once you're in, you can't seem to come out. You can't think of a person who knows you better than this boy.

Sweetest boy you know, once helped you with your transfiguration's spells and still takes the blame for having turned the professors' pet into a pot. After that incident you engraved his name on the left side of your heart; there was no way you were not gonna become best friends after this.

My credentials: I have two hyper fixations in my life, the only two things I actually care about, the only two things I spend all day and night thinking about and they are: Harry Potter and BTS.

Without further ado, here is how I would sort them

THERE ARE ONLY TWO THAT I AM CERTAIN OF, ONLY TWO THAT I AM ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE THAT THEY ARE IN THESE HOUSES AND THEY ARE: 

Jung Hoseok: Hufflepuff

Where tf else would he go

Sweetie pie

Chill

Always trying to be nice to everyone and make everyone seem loved and appreciated 

Possibly a stoner 

OBSCENELY humble and cool 

Mom Friend™

Min Yoongi: Slytherin

Smart as fuck

Knows what he’s good at and doesn’t need any validation whatsoever 

Not unwilling to cheat in order to win a game 

Along that note: Competitive 

EXTREMELY prideful in where he came from

Confident 

NOW AS FOR THE NEXT TWO, I AM FAIRLY CERTAIN ON WHAT HOUSE THEY WOULD BE PLACED IN, BUT I COULD SEE ARGUMENTS MADE FOR OTHERS. THEY ARE: 

Kim Seokjin: Gryffindor (?)

Funny, class clown type 

Studies well, but prefers to do just about anything else 

Competative, but moreso in theory

Like he goes to all the quidditch matches and screams so loudly for his team, and talks made shit on whoever they’re playing against, but would never actually play the sport. 

Overly Confident 

HOWEVER

I could literally see him being sorted into any of the houses and it making sense. 

Hufflepuff? 

Sure, he’s a chill guy. 

Prefers to spend his time relaxing rather than doing things

Has known how to sneak into the kitchens since first year, and does it almost nightly. 

Ravenclaw? 

Why not? He’s smart and works hard 

Dad jokes are basically cheesy riddles, so he can get into the common room no problem 

Would probably be studying anything other than what’s been assigned to him. 

Slytherin? 

He might not fit in perfectly, but the traits are there

NOW, WE MOVE ONTO THE BANE OF MY EXISTANCE, FOR HE IS SPLIT DEADASS DOWN THE MIDDLE BETWEEN TWO HOUSES, AND I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME DECIDE WHICH ONE IS MORE ACCURATE. I PRESENT TO YOU: 

Park Jimin: Slytherin/Hufflepuff

He’s a Slytherin because: 

Smart, but make it mischievous 

Knows exactly how to get what he wants 

Very sure of himself 

C O M P E T A T I V E 

Get’s top grades and will tell everyone about it 

Generally not unwilling to cut a bitch 

But he’s a Hufflepuff because:

The most loyal and empathetic man to maybe have ever existed 

Will do anything to make his friends/loved ones happy

AND FINALLY, THIS LAST SECTION COULD’VE GONE INTO THE SECOND SECTION JUST FINE, BUT I’M PETTY AND DISAGREE WITH NAMJOON’S SORTING DECISIONS (that he made like 7 years ago) AND LIKE I CAN SEE HIS POINT BUT HE’S SO WRONG. FINALLY, AT LONG LAST, WE HAVE: 

Jeon Jungkook: Ravenclaw/Gryffindor 

He’s a Ravenclaw because: 

Very smart, and he definitely prides himself on it to some degree

A true Jack of all Trades 

Wants to be the best at everything, and is very willing to work towards getting it

Namjoon said he’d be a Ravenclaw (and who am I to argue with Joonie?) 

But he’s a Gryffindor because: 

Outwardly, he’s the most Gryffindor person you could get 

Competative 

Athletic 

Academically driven 

Popular Jock type 

A mischievous little shit 

Seriously, would make the Marauders proud 

But he would take the house cup so fucking seriously guys 

I cannot stress that enough 

If they lost even one of the years he attended Hogwarts

He’d never let it go. It would keep him up at night for years to come 

(And I feel like that’s a very Gryffindor trait)

(Turns out I’m very willing to argue with Joonie. Sorry, babe)

Note: Regardless of all of this, I think it'd would be hilarious if Jungkook was still sorted into Ravenclaw. He's just outwardly extremely Gryffindor, bringing complete chaos and unprecedented success to Ravenclaw that they haven't seen in centuries. 10/10 concept.

If you had to cast all of the members in a reboot of Daria, who would they be?

Bloobs, you brilliant butterfly, what a great question. Let's dive in. 💕

Daria - I went back and forth on this one for a while. Daria's sharp. She recognizes just how ridiculous existing is. She's deeply sarcastic and cynical. I was torn between Yoongi and Jin for Daria, but I think ultimately Jin's too animated (lol) for this character. So Yoongi it is.

Jane - So that freed Jin up to be Jane. Think about it: they're both very independent and very confident. Jane's just as witty and cutting as Daria but she's a lot louder about it. Plus, Jane and Jin are both the babies of their families. Also, they know how to rock a red blazer.

Quinn - Jimin. First thought best thought. Jimin's every bit as pretty as Quinn. He's also just as shrewd. One of the things I love about Quinn is how everyone underestimates her. But beneath that shiny veneer is a scheming mind, always calculating the best way to become the queen bee at school. We all know Jimin's a Slytherin. He's also a Quinn.

Kevin - Jungkook. I'm sorry, babe. ��� Kevin's not a bad guy (from what I remember), he's just not the brightest. He's a big dumb jock overflowing with energy and excitement and the desire to WIN. Please understand, I don't think Jungkook is dumb! But I think he could very easily slip into this role. (I know this gif isn't him playing football but like… look at him go 🤣)

Jodie - Had to be Namjoon. Overachiever, smart as fuck, determined to accomplish every goal she sets for herself. But also feels a lot of pressure to live up to her high standards. Even though she and Daria sometimes disagree, they still have tremendous respect for one another.

Trent - Come on. Taehyung, right? The dark hair and gravelly voice. A true visionary, devoted to his art. Always in his own world, but also easily distracted. Someone Daria would be drawn to even if it would never work.

Hey Dia! I’d like to share more stuff I talked about in my last message (the seven deadly sins au) if it’s fine. Fair warning, I’m gonna send more than one ask related to this fic, so be on the lookout lol.

For Lust, I’ve been thinking about casting Taehyung. I do like Jimin being associated with the same sin but I thought of doing something different and just to make it less predictable (like with EANA). Also idk if I’m the only one but I feel like Tae and Jimin give different vibes when they’re depicted as the sin of lust, not that it’s bad of course. Idk how I can explain it though.

In this story, OC here feels lonely because everyone she knows is dating someone except her. The thing is though, she has a fear of commitment and intimacy (because trauma). So one night at a bar, OC meets Taehyung and sleeps with him that same night. And for a while, OC would regularly visit and spend time with him and the 2 of them would explore all kinds of kinks. But the problem is that their whole relationship revolves around sex and nothing else, (which is shallow and superficial obviously). But they both realize that eventually. For Taehyung, he realizes he’s never learned how to form genuine connections with ordinary humans (despite wandering the earth for several years). And for OC, she realizes she needs to love herself before loving others. She only wanted to “date” Taehyung because she felt left out and didn’t know (or see) her self worth. And she only likes the idea of being in love.

I came up with this storyline in particular because when I watched that one video I mentioned from my last message, it explains how lust stems from loneliness. And I just think that’s something a lot of people can relate to. I’m ngl, idk if it’s just me (or maybe I don’t have as wide as a variety with reading fics as I thought lol) but I haven’t really seen lot of fics out there with realistic portrayals of friends with benefits relationships (and the side effects). Ig I’m just curious what it would be like to write one that shows the more unhealthy sides of those kinds of relationships. Not that it’s bad to write fics the way you want to of course (I really hope it doesn’t sound like I’m shaming anybody’s writing btw)

I actually have a rough draft that’s in progress rn but nothing’s set it stone yet. I like what I’ve written so far though😊

I'm sorry I always so late getting back to you but OMG you need to write this 😭😭😭 for real. I love it!

I can totally see what you meant about Tae and Jimin having different vibes if you want to relate them with Lust. I think it's similar to how people always see Jimin as somewhat a Slytherin, as he seems to have this mischievous and darker side that can be completely unpredictable, which is why he seems to be the perfect candidate for Lust. But you know, seeing Taehyung's most recent..."endeavours" (the thirst traps he constantly threw at us ever since he started Instagram, his photoshoots, his most recent release), he does have this bad boy side of him that feels a bit more like a frat boy-ish vibe which, I can totally see as Lust.

You always have different twists with your ideas, so they're always awesome and I love reading through them.

Back to your idea, I think it's great to challenge yourself with writing in a darker theme. People are often afraid of delving into heavy topics like unhealthy relationships because they know that readers often dive into fiction work looking for happy endings as their form of escape, but there are others (like me, heh) who love reading these types of stories. Yes, writing toxic relationships, cheating, or types of relationships you mentioned above, often takes you a bit too close to reality as they happen in real life, but that's actually the beauty of writing, you know? Bringing real topics that we meet in life into a story so we can truly "feel" it. Sometimes, reading about pain can be cathartic and healing for some, which is why angst fics still have many readers.

What I love about your idea for this story is how it challenges your characters to grow as people and to test whether or not they can communicate with each other in the story. While your challenge would be about bringing all of this to life (which seems fun, tbh. I love challenges).

I say continue polishing your rough draft and let your your idea grow. The way you write in bullet points (the way you sent the ideas for EANA to me) was one of the ways I often do when I brainstorm ideas. You'll probably end up fixing some plotholes and filling up the scenes once you continue going with it.

One of my favorite things about tumblr is the community! I love interacting with my readers so intimately and being able to convey their thoughts and feelings in my own way! The ask box is such a fun thing and it’s really a great way for me to bond with you.

Unfortunately there are those who abuse the ask box by sending hate, and things they aren’t supposed to, to my inbox…

So i have compiled a list of rules for sending in reqs and just general asks! Plus an ever growing list of characters/people i want to write for, or do currently write for.

things i do write;

If you send in a request and i answer it by not answering it, that is my right, because this is my blog! If you send something in and it contains things that aren’t on my no list and i still don’t write it, that is also my right!

Sometimes people send in things that im not comfortable writing, or things that I cannot write. That is perfectly okay! Im not mad at you for that. I will however get mad if you pester me about writing something you sent in, or if i tell you I won’t write something and you send it again or ask why — i will be upset, and i might just block you depending on how i feel.

Also! I don’t want to write something someone else has written! Do not send me in an ask that you’ve sent to somebody else, and ESPECIALLY not if they have already answered it.

Lastly, nearly all my works will be under 1k. That’s just the way it usually ends up, and i try to stretch my answers in most cases, but I can’t always do it. I call 99 percent of my works drabbles, which to me is something in between 300-1k words, and sometimes blurbs, which is something under 300 words to me.
