Diomedes: who has been a solider since he was 5 who has intersting thoughts about his own personhood who has a much more traditional relationship with Athena and would rather literally stab his own eye out with a rusted sword than speak out of turn: I don't know what you're talking about

#sneak peek #whew this next update is taking me longer than I thought I was going to #I have a two hour time limit for my drawing app. And I don’t always draw every day. So it can be a slow process.#and I also don’t really have future pages like- up and ready to make so it’s idnfdfvdvddv it just takes me a while #I wish I had a better upload schedule rather than just like once a month. But it just kind of be like that. :(#I’m a busy college kid. I’m truly surprised. I’m even still doing this comic. I’m glad I am.

there are SO many different ways that migraines can show up and affect people i feel like i tell people this once a month at least. a mild headache that lasts for days is probably a migraine. a lack of headache but visual disturbances and suddenly horrible coordination is a migraine. random vomiting can be a migraine. if youre always thinking "damn i felt REALLY good yesterday why do i have a migraine today" that could have been a warning sign especially if you think that a lot on migraine days. a mild headache, like milder than actual non-migraine headaches, and terrible processing issues/brain fog is a migraine. it's not always about the headache itself, the headache is just one symptom of an overarching neurological disorder that fucks up your ability to function in a lot of different ways other than causing pain/nausea/etc

#there have been times where i had no headache at all but malaise and coordination issues so bad i've dropped things and taken a solid ten #seconds to process that i did that. genuine processing so slow i'm like 'okay something happened. what happened' and there's glass all over #the floor

Actually I think it's severely underrated how fucking funny ejm Brian has the potential to be when there is no actual end. When he's just living on the ship on the day to day between stories and the like. Ends are so, so subjective when there are no wars or really even active society. Stuff like

Brian on his way to the kitchen to grab smth to feed the octokittens -> Jonny and Tim are arguing in front of the door -> he knows from experience that interrupting or trying to get by would only mean getting himself dragged into it -> the octokittens make (most) everyone happy and deserve to be fed food that won't immediately kill them -> conclusion: shoot both Jonny and Tim before they notice him so he can walk over their corpses to the fridge and get the octokittens food
