You let out a tired sigh, leaning on the counter, resting your head on your hands, waiting for someone to walk in. It’s been a long day, lots of people entering and leaving your store. It’s always like this on game day, college students wanting to get alcohol or snacks. Now that the game’s over, and you’re still not sure who won, it’s empty again, simply quiet and peaceful. You grab your phone and starting scrolling through TikTok, liking random videos. Suddenly, you get a text. “Got plans tonight?” The text reads from Armin. “Nah. Why?” You reply. He’s typing, momentarily stopping. “Our team is having a little after party, you’re welcome to come.” Your phone dings. “Wish I could, I have to work.” You send back. Turning your phone off, you place it back on the counter. Armin is also on the football team. You usually avoid hanging out with the guys on the team, as they all lack brain cells, but he’s an exception, as he’s actually super smart and thoughtful. You met him while you were in the library, requesting his help to find a certain book. “Yoooo!” You break out of your trance when you hear a deep voice yell, barging into your store, a group of guys following. They’re on the team as well, the specific group you avoid. “Hey.” You mumble, looking away and grabbing a chocolate bar from the rack on the counter, opening it and starting to eat it, distracting yourself from them. Looking up, you meet one of their stares. He raises his eyebrows and quickly looks away, grabbing a bag of Taki’s and turning back to face his friends. “We good.” One of them says, “Hurry.” He rushes them towards the register. “What’s good?” Another one asks you as they all place their food and drinks down on the counter. “Nothing much, you?” You ask him, ringing all the stuff up. “I’m doing fucking amazing right now! We won!” The guy laughs, smacking his hand down on the counter. “Oh, for real? Nice.” You smile, placing everything in a bag. The same guy that was staring at you earlier cuts in, “We’re about to go to the after party, you wanna come?” He questions you. “Thanks for the offer, I gotta stay here.” You hand him the bag and he shrugs, motioning for his friends to leave the store. “Hopefully I’ll see you again.” He calls out, the door closing behind him. “Yeah, aight.” You shake your head, talking to yourself and laughing at him.

This scene in Class of '09 reminds me of a plot point I planned in the Stolitz Roommates AU, so I'll write it here

Ya Blitz attempting is a plot point in it but the method is different, it's more Blitz pulling a Heather McNamara

Blitz: Alright, Stolas is shopping and Loona won't be back from Bee's party for another 4 hours, so that's plenty of time *Random Song in Loona's room's stereo begins playing* Blitz: "Are you kidding me! I just wanted to slice my wrist dramatically and this is killing the whole vibe! ...Whatever, I wanna die, doesn't matter how" *Blitz grabs a knife and enters the bathroom* ---------- Stolas: "Blitz, I forgot my credit card would you know where it- OH MY SATAN BLITZ!" Blitz, very dazed from the blood loss: "Huh,.. what?" Stolas: "What did you do to yourself?!" Blitz: "Can I just die in peace..?" Stolas: "Where's your phone, I'm calling an ambulance, you will be okay Blitz. Blitz: "Yeah, it would be a lot better if you just fucking left" Stolas: *Calls Hell's equivalent to 911/111* "HELLO?! Yes, my boyfriend (?) [they aren't dating yet] just attempted suicide, there's blood everywhere! PLEASE SEND SOMEONE!"

That one Schismist who insists that he's The Wizard's equal, he can TOTALLY beat them in a fight, and he's just like some rando that fought the wizard one time before and got his ass beat instantly. Yeah. That guy^! I made a character outta him, say hello to Denkichi, Spiral's most pathetic man. Feat. a very tired YW (Persephone).

SO absolutely obsessed with the npc dialogue, compelled into basing an entire character around it, I've been possessed for days making him and I am THRILLED, I haven't made a new wizard in years, okay. The story goes as follows ofc, that being that Denkichi, a former Ravenwood student and heavy YW admirer, developed a very weird one-sided complex with her. That being that they are rivals - nay, MORTAL ENEMIES, destined by the gods themselves! Persephone may not even know his name but shhh!! He swears it to be true! So fella just up and joins the Schismists SOLELY to try and fight her and prove their rivalry. He doesn't know what the they are even doing<3 He has no clue why it even exists, he just heard they hate the YW and said haha bet?? Not as much as me though- It's going to lead to him becoming her new travelling companion after the events of Novus! In that he decides that the Schismists are annoying, not letting him fight The Wizard enough, and that if he just trailed after her like a lost little puppy... then he could have many more chances. Tada! B...Best friends... (Sidenote: In game the mob/boss is balance. But I wanted him to be storm in my version, so I could make fun of storm magic even further, AND so that he could be a yokai! He's a raiju, a sparky, blue golden retriever. My nonhuman wizard agenda prevails.)
