Heyy, I hope I am not pestering you in case you were asked this question a lot or you already posted something about it. But I was craving to reread your Sleeper Hit follow up (I think it was called) Impact hypothesis and I can't find it. Is there a reason you took it down or did you post it somewhere else? I really loved it so thank you for the chance to read it back them :D

Thank you so much for wanting to read it! I never put it up on AO3 as it was really just a silly little extra, and I didn't want it detracting from Sleeper Hit as I think that stands much stronger on its own. But you can read it here on my tumblr!

As of this morning, Our Flag Means Death is at x18.8 expected viewership numbers in the UK (BBC). Up 11.3% in last 30 days. The numbers are there and rising. Little to no marketing here. This is true grassroots.

Hot tip: Next time you go to Olive Garden, get the doughnuts for dessert. I know, I know, it's an Americanized chain restaurant - generally tasty when you're hungry, but nothing to write home about.

All their other desserts are pre-made and served cold. The doughnuts are fried fresh. They come hot and fluffy, and dusted in sugar. The chocolate dipping sauce is good, but the blueberry sauce is amazing! Just a little sour to balance with the sugar.

Trust me, they are the sleeper hit on their menu.

Oh my heart! This is one of those stories told in a quiet, calming, manner, with everything unfolding and being presented by, and to, our characters. That isn’t to say it didn’t have an impact, because it tore straight into heart from the very beginning. Elora and Roman, blossomed? discovered? no, they became themselves while growing and having shared, but differing, experiences together. I loved every second, every moment, every stop, they made, and am privileged I got to take this journey with them <3

thinking about lazy weekends in the Vidal-Harkness house:

Rio wakes up first, naturally an early riser (and Agatha sleeps like a log). she'll slip out of bed, toss on one of Agatha's baggy hoodies and do her morning routine before getting coffee brewing.

after about an hour or so she'll sneak back into the bedroom, climb back into her spot, and curl up against Agatha's side. she wraps her hands around Agatha's forearm, squeezing it as she presses kisses into her shoulder. Agatha grumbles, eyes not open yet but she's waking up. "i made you coffee, babe," Rio whispers, kissing Agatha's shoulder again, "don't need you in bed all day, we have stuff to do."

the mention of coffee always gets her up. her eyes blink open slowly, the sharp intake of breath through the nose as she grimaces at the amount of light in the room. Rio laughs, lifting herself up to kiss Agatha's nose and then her lips. brief little "hi" "sleep well?" "yeah i dreamt of you" "oh i'm sure, get outta bed" interactions before they both are out of bed.

Agatha quick makes the bed, a habit she's had all her life, then follows the smell of fresh coffee. Rio has her usual coffee mug on the counter while she's sipping from her own. Agatha ignores the cup and wraps her arms around Rio, pulling the woman in to bury her face into her neck and inhale her scent and aura, feeling it warm her soul. they kiss, a simple kiss of love as they smile against each other's mouths and the taste of Rio's absurd coffee on her lips.

Agatha's face morphs into one of disgust, but she laughs after as she reaches for the coffee pot. "you don't have to pretend you don't like my coffee," Rio states, offering her mug forward. "it's not that bad."

Agatha sips her mug, smacking her lips comically after she swallows. "i just like how it tastes on you. mine is better."
