New idea that just hit-

Bear and Alex fake dating. Bear finds out that Lena is seeing someone during their time apart and he's determined to not let her come out on top so he claims that he's seeing someone, too. But when Lena questions him about who, he panics and says the first name that pops into his head- Alex. But it works because Lena would hate that on multiple fronts. And Alex is perfectly happy getting dragged into these shenanigans because he's seen how unhappy Lena has made Bear lately. And you know I'm always a fan of fake dating turns into real feelings

Oh my god. From the second I started this show I loved Graves’ and Caulder’s friendship.

Watching Caulder’s od scene made my heart break a little. The way Joe handles it makes me wanna curl up and die (PSA: if you know someone is overdosing, call an ambulance ASAP!)

I don’t know if the fact that he told Dharma that he’s seen this before implies that Caulder has od’d and he had to take care of it, or if he’s had to deal with overdoses in general. My guess is Caulder because of Joe instantly asking if it was oxy.

Joe is always taking care of Alex. Flashback to the infamous “your finger or mine” scene LMFAOOOO. But it speaks volumes on both of their characters.

This moment makes me want to DIEEE… I love their friendship. A man who can’t take care of himself and a man who takes care of the ones he loves.

okay, sorry, but rereading your fic just made me a little bit more insane about those two and i had to come scream about it lol. i absolutely adore those two. i think their dynamic is very interesting, the tension being there from the very first moment we see them.

at first it's like, okay they have a tough love type of thing going on. but its actually more than that as episodes progress; there's genuine love and care. bear knows alex better than anyone else, just like alex does bear. it's like they have this unspoken thing going on between them for the longest time.

its also very interesting because there's Lena. Bear being religious and having Lena on one hand, his clashing, sinful, thoughts and feelings on the other hand. To Alex it's no different. He's literally ready to give it all up for Joe the moment he asks 😭 but Joe... Man. He's clearly attracted to the man, and its so close to him, yet so far away because of who he is. There's some good angst potential there. I really really like these two

So, so sorry for the rant. Its just, I don't think anyone else cares about Six so i had to come yell about it 😭

First of all, thank you- it's always nice to hear when people are reading and enjoying your fics.

And, OMG, I could go fully insane over these two. Like I was just immediately gone for them. Because there is that huge connection there, undeniably, regardless of whether you ship it or not. But obvs I do.

I just think that Alex is the one who gets the most emotion out of Bear. And okay a lot of that emotion is anger, but that still feels a lot more than Lena gets out of Bear and she's his wife.

Now how I like to think of it like absolutely everyone knows that Alex is in love with Bear. He has constant heart eyes so it would be pretty hard to miss that and all. And he would wait forever for Bear. And they are both aware of that. And I also think Bear loves Alex, but he doesn't think he would ever be able to give Alex everything that he wants (because of Lena, religion etc). But because he does love him, he still wants to give him as much as he can. And then that's how they end up so fucked up basically. And that can be such a fascinating dynamic to explore.

But also sometimes, in fic, I do just like to pretend it's less complicated and they're just in love and even when issues do crop up, what they have is the most important thing
