been busy so here is a fem gale and bucky sleepy morning drabble

For what may be the first time ever, Bucky is awake before Gale.

Normally it's Gale getting up early, completing all her tasks for the day before Bucky even rolls out of bed. But today for some reason, Bucky has awoken and can't seem to fall back asleep.

It's no issue with her though, it's not often she gets to hold Gale in her arms while she sleeps, arms wrapped around her sides, Gale's soft breaths against her neck.

The rising sun shines onto Gale's golden hair through the window and Bucky can't help but bring a hand around to comb her fingers through it.

It's soft and shiny and Bucky can't help but be a little envious of it. Her curls are hard to maintain and she feels bad whenever Gale tries to play with it because all they do is get tangled up in her hands.

Gale's hair is warm from the sun and Bucky moves her hand up to her scalp to softly scratch at it. She moves a strand of hair stuck to Gale's slightly parted lips and tucks it behind her ear. Bucky wishes she would wake up earlier more, she never gets to see Gale so at peace, always running around and finding something to do around the house.

She watches Gale's chest rise and fall slowly, traces a finger along her collarbone and up along her neck and jaw, brushes the same finger across her lips.

Gale stirs slightly and Bucky can now see every freckle on her face in the sun. They dot across her nose and cheeks, standing out in the soft blush that always seems to be there. She grazes her hand across Gale's cheeks, connecting the freckles like they're constellations and committing them to memory.

Bucky sees Gale's chest stutter and she knows that Gale is now awake. That doesn't stop her from tracing Gale's features as she slowly opens her eyes, bright and blue from the sun's beams.

Gale doesn't say anything as she reaches over and places a kiss to the juncture of Bucky's neck, leaving her lips there as she breaths in and out. Bucky wraps her arms tighter around Gale, moving her hands under Gale's shirt and rubbing up and down her back, skin warm and soft.

Gale lazily places more kisses along Bucky's neck, taking her arm from Bucky's embrace and tracing along her jaw. Bucky revels in the way her nails slightly scratch at her skin, leaning into the touch.

Apparently she's had enough though, because Gale tightens her grip ever so slightly and brings Bucky's face down to hers and places a kiss on her lips.

Bucky presses into the kiss, memorizing every movement of Gale's lips, tightening her grip on Gale's waist and bringing her impossibly closer. Gale moves so that she's on top of Bucky, never breaking the connection between them.

Golden hair falls between them and Bucky tucks the strands behind Gale's ears again as she pulls away. Gale looks more awake now, eyes slightly alert, but the swollen lips tell otherwise.

"Morning." Bucky laughs, voice raspy from not using it all night, hands thoughtlessly moving back and forth along the sides of Gale's body.

"Good morning." Gale replies softly, hands going back to Bucky's jaw as she leans down to continue the kiss.

me and the metric paper wasp building a nest on my front door have a deep, emotional bond built from making eye contact multiple times a day through the glass and so naturally i wanted to express my love for him by way of little treat and looked up if paper wasps like sugar water but the search results were all "HERE'S HOW TO LURE WASPS INTO A TRAP TO KILL THEM AS HORRIFICALLY AS POSSIBLE TO ENSURE THEIR LAST MOMENTS ARE PURE TORTURE AND AGONY" and like no, sir, you do not understand, we are in love

For Personal Reasons I Am Fleeing The Country and i didn't book a return train ticket so basically for the next 5 to 10-ish days i can go anywheeeeerrrreeee... the world is my oyster etc etc. or at least the part of the world that's within an 8 hr train ride away

Since we didn't get pseudo-fiend designs for the alignment characters in SMT4, I was curious in seeing how they'd look! So I made a pseudo-fiend design and reference/turnaround sheet for Walter-Lucifer just for fun😈💜 He uses elements from both of Lucifer SMT4's phases, as well as Walter's human features.

On the "darker" side of being comforted by one's immortality (not in the physical, but metaphorical), I've always been comforted by bone needles.

The idea that even after death, you've still been remembered by how you are used. No, bone needles probably weren't used with human bones, but it's a reminder that you aren't just going to... disappear. I'm comforted in the knowledge that I don't end in a "me" but in a "we," in nature. Everything about me is reused material so much more ancient than I am, and knowing that, I feel so much closer to the world.
