bEGGING for something with the marauders with drunk reader at a halloween party!!! make it literally anything you want follow ur heart ily and ur writing is AMAZING!!!!
thank you, ily ♡ modern au, fem
The rugby uniform felt like a funny idea at the time, but now you're cold and wondering how James manages to stay warm when he plays. You must ask him.
He sits on the couch with Remus and another friend, Frank. You like Frank but he's not one of your boys, leaving you no options —you have to slide yourself between Remus and James, emphasis on have to. Remus touches your waist unthinkingly as you do, like he might catch you if you fell.
James is ecstatic to see you as always. "Where have you been? I was about to send out the search party."
He's been very, very pleased with you upon the reveal of your costume. Like, pleased enough to take a handful of your thigh and squeeze at the soft inner part greedily. You lean back into Remus, enjoying the feeling and wanting his comfort. He's used to it, and he adapts by pressing his face indulgently to the side of your head.
You giggle. This is usually a nice feeling, but drunk? You're euphoric.
"You can't stray too far, lovely, I need my victim," Remus says.
"Where have your fangs gone?" you ask, pointing at your neck. "I made the bite mark so perfect. Everyone will think I have rabies if you don't commit."
James laughs like you're hilarious. Later, you'll find out that you didn't quite say every word that you thought you said, and that you'd been slurring your words into one another to create Frankenstein's sentences.
"Everybody already thinks you have rabies," James says. He's wearing a chef's costume from a show he likes, a white shirt that's sleeves strain against his biceps and a blue apron. Sirius spent an hour drawing tattoos into his brown skin with a sharpie. "That's why we've decided to put you down."
"I'll have one last night of passion with her first, if you don't mind," Sirius says, announcing his presence.
You like the sound of that, lifting yourself away from the other two boys and their touches to take Sirius' fine hands. He's in a button up and tie, the sticker on his chest proudly proclaiming, Hello, my name is: Dave.
"You're here to kiss me, right?" you ask.
Sirius grins and presses a quick kiss to the corner of your mouth. "My little alcoholic, you smell like lambrini. What did we say about lambrini?"
"Uh, that it makes me sloppy drunk."
"Exactly!" He kisses your cheek, working an arm around your shoulder as though showing you off with pride to the other boys. "My darling, you're so smart."
"Not that smart, she still drank the lambrini."
"Remus, don't start," Sirius admonishes. "You just hate that she chooses me when she's drunk."
"You're her enabler," James says, "of course she does. But before she was drunk she chose to dress as me for Halloween, so if anyone is the favourite–"
"Oh, please don't start," Remus says.
The boys start, arguing over who your favourite is. It's a silly pass time with no real merit but no malice, either, and you're just drunk enough to goad them on. "Maybe Remus should be my favourite. After all, he's my vampire. Our love is, like, eternal."
The furrowed brow he gets whenever the other two boys debate slips. "It's so eternal," he says, nodding confidently. "Quite right, dove."
"Eternal doesn't mean better."
"Then what does it mean, Sirius?"
You decide that James' lap looks comfortable and that you might be here for a long time, so you push his legs down flat and sit carefully (not very carefully in reality, but in your heart) on his thighs, socked feet pulled up onto the couch, sideways and skewiff in his company.
"Well, obvious winner," James says, encompassing your back with a big arm, pulling you into him. Under his hand your shoulders feel like a more delicate system; you aren't necessarily small, but his touch feels so everywhere, a pervasive feeling of safety and comfort in the palm of his hand where it grasps you.
"You have the more comfortable seat," Sirius says nonchalantly. "It means nothing."
Remus pulls one of your socks up where it's slipping down your calf and Sirius interrupts the arguing to ask if you need a glass of water. You don't have favourites. They're each incredibly lovely in their own way.

Like my father {Blurb}
Sirius Black x Porter!Reader
Summary: Reader wants a man to love her like her father loves her mom. She just hasn't met him yet.. maybe.
AN: I needed a break from all the angst I'm writing.
Wc: 1494
Cw: use of Y/N, oblivious reader, idiots in love, not proof read
Part two
“Lily, I implore you to raise your standards.” You snarked as you entered the kitchen, giving your mother a kiss on the cheek and she playfully pinched your side.
“{Y/N} Euphemia Potter!” She scolded and you giggled, hurrying over to your father and kissing on the head.
“Good morning, princess.” He hummed and you smiled.
“Morning daddy!”
“Oi! Pops, she just insulted me!” James shouted across the table and Fleamont huffed, looking up at you. “Be nice to your brother, princess.”
“Daddy you know I can't.” You insisted as you walked across the table to give Lily a hug. Pressing your cheek to hers as she giggled.
“You're way too pretty for my wack of a brother.” You continued and your mother looked at her father fondly, taking his hand in her own, which he quickly squeezed in return.
“You're one to talk, you haven't dated anyone… ever. Not that anyone would date-” James smirked and Lily rolled her eyes, laying her head on his chest and pinching his side as he tried to continue.
“Ouch!”
“Thank you Lily.” You giggled and sat down at your seat, muttering a thank you to Sirius as he handed you your morning tea. Giving a low hum at the smell of the sugars and fragrant tea leaves he shifted for it. “Besides, I have standards that prevent me from stooping too low.”
“Standards?” James scoffed and you hummed as you took a sip of your tea, muttering another thanks to Sirius who began to serve you breakfast- a routine you two picked up at Hogwarts that was getting hard to break. “You have standards? You used to crush on boys left and right!”
“Yes but the second they didn't meet my standards they were gone.” You insisted with a hum and James shook his head with a scoff.
“What standards could you possibly be talking about?”
“Well…” You muttered and began to tap on your mug in thought. Slowly smiling to yourself. “I want a man who loves me like daddy loves mum.”
You could feel the room quiet as your words hung in the air. Your father glanced up from his breakfast, a soft smile spreading across his face, while your mother’s eyes sparkled with pride.
“Now that is a standard I can get behind,” Fleamont said, his voice warm and filled with affection. “A man who cherishes you and treats you with respect is worth waiting for.”
“Exactly!” You exclaimed, feeling a surge of confidence. “I want someone who understands the value of love and partnership, not just a fleeting crush. Someone who will stand by me through thick and thin, just like you two do.”
James rolled his eyes dramatically, leaning back and throwing his arm around Lily. “So, like us?”
You gave a long sigh before you slowly smiled. “Unfortunately, yes. You were gifted with dad’s love language, it's your only redeeming quality, I fear.”
Lily snickered and James gave an offended gasp.
“I want…” You trailed off as you put your hand to your cheek and crossed your leg over the other. “I want to come home to flowers. And tea made the way he knows I like. I want him to think about coming home to me at the end of the day.”
You didn't even seem to look when Sirius poured more tea into your cup, stirring in some sugar as you talked. Even though everyone else at the table noticed.
“I want a man who gets along with my parents too! And daddy has high enough standards as it is!”
You glanced over at your father, who was smiling proudly at you, his eyes twinkling with affection as he glanced at your mother who seemed to just be eating it up. “I do have high standards.” He mumbled with a playful grin, leaning in to kiss your mothers temple. “But I’m confident that any young man would be lucky to have you.”
“See?” You said, pointing at him with a mock-serious expression. “Even Dad agrees! So, boys, do take note: you’ve got to bring your A-game if you want to win my heart.”
James snorted, not noticing as Lily and Sirius seemed to make eye contact over the table. “What if they show up with flowers but no charm? Or worse, what if they have charm but no flowers? Sounds like a dilemma.”
You rolled your eyes, shaking your head. “That’s why I’m not settling for just flowers or just charm, James. It’s about the whole package. I want someone who knows me better than anyone. Someone who knows my favorite flower,” You held up your finger and Sirius smirked from beside you.
“Sunflowers.”
“My favorite movie,”
“Grease.”
“My favorite book,”
“Little Woman.”
“And even my favorite meal!”
“Anything your mom cooks.”
“Exactly!” You turned to face Sirius with a bright smile. “See? It's not so hard, even my brothers best friend can figure it out.”
You smiled to yourself and took another sip of tea, not noticing your parents sharing a look and your brother giving you the most shocked expression.
Sirius just chuckled and picked a grape off his plate. “It's easy when you never shut it, Potter.” He then proceeded to flick it at you, quickly, you caught it and rolled it between your fingers.
“Oh! And playful too! I don't want to be dreadfully bored around the bloke.”
“Playful? So you want someone who can keep up with your incessant snark?” James interjected, eyebrows raised in mock disbelief. “Good luck finding that! You’ll be searching for ages.”
You shot him a playful glare. “I’ll have you know that my wit is one of my greatest assets, thank you very much. I need someone who can challenge me, not someone who’s going to sit there and nod while I talk.”
“Couldn’t agree more.” Lily chimed in, her voice light and teasing. “After all, who would want to date someone as dull as a rock?”
“Exactly!” You grinned. “I want someone who can banter with me, someone who can make me laugh until I cry; I want to marry my best friend.”
“Do you have other friends?” Sirius sassed and you gave him an offended but playful gasp.
“Excuse me?” You exclaimed, hand over your heart in mock horror. “I have plenty of friends, thank you very much! Just because you’re one of them doesn’t mean you can throw shade like that.”
“Friends who actually like you, though?” Sirius teased, leaning back in his chair with a smirk. “That’s the real question.”
James burst into laughter, shaking her head. “Honestly, {Y/N}, you might need to reconsider your definition of ‘friends’ if he’s the best you’ve got.”
“Hey now, I’ll have you know that Sirius is a very valuable friend.” You shot back, your eyes narrowing playfully. “And let's not forget, I was Lily’s favorite Potter first.”
“You still are!” Lily cooed as she reached across the table, James quickly lifting his hands to keep you two apart.
“Hey! Hands off my wife!” He playfully scolded and you laughed, before giving a dramatic sigh.
“I want a man… who’s patient and sweet. Who knows what he wants and will take his time for it.” You nodded as if to agree with yourself. “I want someone who doesn't see me as some fleeting crush. He sees me as someone to work for, who puts in the time and energy.”
James smirked, leaning forward with a teasing grin. “Good luck with that! You’re going to have to beat them off with a stick.”
“I’m serious, James!” You shot back, a hint of frustration lacing your voice. “I want someone who values me, not just for my looks or what I can do, but for who I am. Someone who appreciates my quirks and my drive. Someone who knows all my little weird things.”
“Wow, when did you become so profound?” Sirius said, feigning shock as he dramatically placed a hand over his heart. “I didn’t know you had it in you, Potter.”
“Oh, shut it, Black. I’m just stating facts.” You replied, your tone playful yet earnest. “I deserve someone who sees my worth and is willing to fight for it, just like my dad did for my mum.”
Your father smiled at that, clearly pleased with your sentiment. “That’s right, my dear. Love is about commitment and effort.” He stood up and walked around the table to kiss your temple. “You should never settle for less than you deserve.”
“Exactly!” You nodded, feeling empowered. “I want a man who knows that love isn’t a race.”
“Mhm.” You father agreed before he patted Sirius’s back as he passed. “Good luck, son.”
Sirius felt his face flush and he slowly smirked to himself, biting his cheek.
You looked at him and furrowed your brow, before you mother came over and kissed your cheek and dismissed herself as well.
“What was that for?” You huffed and Sirius shrugged.
“Who knows?”

When Remus and James get home from their shift, they find you and Sirius curled up on the couch, you with a mug of what appears to be noodle soup steaming in your hands. You’re taking sips of it like it’s tea.
“Hello,” says Remus, perching on the armrest to peck his boyfriend on the head. “You two aren’t where we left you.”
“One can only lie around in bed for so many hours,” Sirius replies, tilting his head back for a real kiss. Remus gives him one, and Sirius takes another for himself. “I’m very entertaining, but after a while we both needed a change of scenery.”
“And why is our girl drinking soup like a warm beverage?” James directs the question towards you, but you don’t seem to notice. After a moment, Sirius answers for you.
“She wasn’t doing very well with the spoon, and though I made some excellent points about how romantic it’d be, she wouldn’t let me feed it to her.” Sirius grins salaciously at you. You offer only a faint smile in return, and he squishes your thigh in his hand teasingly. “Eventually we had to compromise on a more innovative solution.”
“I see.” James ducks his head, finding his way into your field of vision. “Sweetheart,” he says carefully, “are you with us?”
You blink. Your eyes look fever glazed. “Yeah.” You match his gentle tone. “Hi.”
He smiles softly. “Hey there. You seemed a bit far away, m’love.”
“She’s only tired.” Sirius kisses the side of your head. “We’ve just had a nap.”
“Oh, must be nice,” James jokes. You smile in response.
Remus frowns pensively as he plays with Sirius’ hair where it’s draped over the edge of the couch. It spills through his fingers like stygian water. “What’s her fever at?” he asks.
“It’s coming down.” Sirius nods to the fever reducers sitting next to a half-empty bottle of cough syrup on the coffee table. “We’re working on it.”
“What was it last you checked?” James presses, but Remus has already picked up the thermometer. He murmurs a quiet direction to you as he nestles it in your ear.
“Her cough’s gotten a lot better, too, if you haven’t noticed,” Sirius says proudly. “Right, babydoll? We haven’t been having many problems since the last time she had medicine.”
That’s not saying much, James thinks as he looks around. There are still wadded up tissues strewn about the coffee table, enough that he wonders whether one of them ought to go buy more before you all get ready for bed, and even if your cough has abated the scrape of your voice indicates your throat still feels like you’ve swallowed knives.
Still, he tries to sound upbeat as he says, “Yeah? That’s great,” and kisses your shoulder lightly.
“I can see why you’re so tired,” Remus says. The thermometer beeps, and his brow pinches sympathetically as he reads the screen. “That nap was the first good sleep you’ve had in a while, hm, dovey?”
“Yeah,” you say, your voice a thin rasp. “I still have to turn over every now and then when my nose clogs up, though.”
“Poor love,” James coos, kissing your shoulder again. “I’m about to have a shower, would you want to sit in the bathroom with me and see if the steam does anything? I could use the company.”
“That’s a good idea,” Remus agrees. “After you’ve finished your soup, though.”
You give James a sweet, thoughtful look. “That would be nice,” you say. The sound of your voice makes him want to burst into tears. “Thank you guys for taking care of me.”
Sirius makes an indignant squawking sound. “Um, that’s actually been me, in case you’ve forgotten. These two only just got here.”
“Sorry.” You crack a smile, sleepy but real, and lean your head on Sirius’ shoulder. “Thank you the most.”
He hums, quickly pacified, and lets his head rest atop yours. “Apology accepted. Luckily for you, I actually quite enjoy it.”

hiya elle!!!
could i request a first-time dad sirius fic of siri introducing his baby to the other marauders?? 🩷🩷
so. stinkin'. cute.
dad!Sirius Black x mom!reader who are introducing their first child to the Marauders
You felt as though you were experiencing the world through glasses that weren’t your exact prescription, riding out the last of the adrenaline coursing through your veins after the past 24 hours. You were floating in this liminal space between discomfort and euphoria, pain and joy, worry and love.
You thought perhaps though the love was beginning to win out.
You were sitting in your hospital bed as you watched Sirius gently bounce the tiny bundle he was holding up to his face.
“Isn’t her nose just perfect, sweets?” He asked you (for quite possibly the 13th time in the four hours your daughter has been earth side) without moving his gaze from said nose.
“So perfect.” You agreed readily, smiling softly at the picture and hoping that this image in your memory didn’t fade as you became more lucid.
There was a gentle knock before a mop of wild hair and a pair of spectacles shoved its head in through the door to your room.
James gasped quietly yet no less dramatically as he looked between you and Sirius.
“Can we come in?” He whispered, adorning quite possibly one of the biggest smiles you’d even seen on him (which was really saying something, considering he has been notoriously sunny since the day you met him), before Lily shoved her head in just below his.
“I promise we’ll behave.” She added.
Sirius chuckled and nodded his head in invitation. “You were never the one we were worried about, Red.”
In a way that only happened throughout the history of humanity at the precise moment family members or loved ones entered the room of a newborn and their parents; Lily, James, and Peter all tiptoed in, for some reason even hunching low as if their lack of height would somehow make them any quieter.
James gasped again as he and Lily peered over Sirius’ shoulder to get a glimpse of the newborn in his hands; all three friends sharing identical beaming grins. “She’s beautiful, Sirius.” Lily whispered in awe.
“Bloody perfect, is what she is.” James agreed, leaning around Sirius to look at you. “Way to go, mum. Brilliant job you’ve done.”
“Thank you, Jamie.” You replied, turning a little shy as Sirius turned his lovesick gaze to you, which was very embarrassing considering he literally just watched you push his fucking child out of your crotch.
“What’s her name?” Peter asked, standing in front of Sirius like an eager kid waiting for their turn to pick a toy from the treasure box.
“This is Aurora Jubilee.” Sirius said proudly, turning his daughter slightly so that Pete could get a look.
“Bloody perfect.” James reiterated when you heard a quiet commotion outside your hospital room.
“I said I was sorry, Reg. The baby can’t tell time yet, she won’t know you’re late!”
You then heard something that sounded an awful lot like someone being whacked with a bouquet of flowers.
“Idiot.” Regulus hissed. “I’m trying to make a good impression; just because you don’t worry whether or not Harry finds his uncle to be untimely doesn’t mean I want to set the same precedent for my niece. Tu as tellement de chance tu es une bonne baise.”
The door pushed open slightly further as Remus and Regulus quietly stepped in, furious blushes adorning their faces when they realised that you all had paused in order to eavesdrop on their conversation.
“How nice of you to finally join us, little brother. Your niece has been asking for you.” Sirius deadpanned.
Regulus scoffed and Remus grimaced as Regulus came rushing over to your side and pressed a kiss to your hair. “How are you doing, mama?” He asked, pulling back to consider your form as Remus pressed his own kiss to your head.
“I’m good, uncle Reggie, thank you.” You smiled at him.
“Good.” He said with a curt nod. “I worry, leaving you in the care of my brother - you deserve better.”
“Sod off.” Sirius muttered, causing Lily to gently swat at his back.
“Watch your mouth, Sirius. There are little ears now.”
“Yeah, watch your fucking mouth, Sirius.” Remus volleyed.
“Christ, our kids are doomed.” Lily complained as she moved to sit on the end of your bed.
“Okay, I can’t take it anymore; let me hold her.” James demanded, making grabby hands to Sirius.
“Okay but Prongs, I swear to god if you fumble this like you fum-”
“I didn’t fumble that pass! You threw it too hard!” James quickly negated with a petulant whine.
Moving in slow motion, Sirius relinquished his hold on his new favourite person into James’ capable and seasoned dad hands before moving to perch himself beside you on your bed.
“‘Lo, Aurora. I’m uncle Prongs; your favourite. I’m going to buy you so many stuffies, your dad and mum will need to buy a second place just to have somewhere to put them all. And Haz is going to be the best big cousin you could ever ask for; he’s already trying to convince me to buy you a bike so you guys can ride together. And-”
“Okay.” Lily interrupted. “My turn.”
James harrumphed but acquiesced and passed her over to his wife.
“She has her mummy’s nose.” Lily cooed, causing Sirius to gently pull you into his side and pressing his nose into your hair.
“That’s what I’ve been saying.” He said, causing you to snort.
“No. You just kept saying it was perfect.” You argued.
“Exactly.”
“Let’s just hope you have your mummy’s smarts, too.” Lily concluded, passing Aurora to Pete.
“Oi!”
“Hi, ‘Ro.” Peter said, smiling down at the infant as she started to stir slightly. “No, no. Please don’t wake up. Oh god, oh god, James take her - take her! I’m not ready for this!”
“Oh hand her ‘ere.” Remus mumbled, moving to take the tiny bundle from his mate. “Wormy smells, doesn’t he, little love?” He cooed at the baby who, much to Peter’s chagrin, stopped fussing immediately.
“Oh you and I are going to get into so much trouble, darlin’. I’m going to teach you so many swear words, and I’ll help you prank your dad any time you want - you just give me a ring and I’ll be there.”
Any contention between Remus and Regulus from their arrival melted quickly as Regulus leaned into Remus’ side to gaze at the newest Black family member.
“You wanna hold her, love?” Remus asked him quietly, causing Regulus to shake his head quickly.
“I don’t want to hurt her.”
Sirius scoffed. “Please, we let Peter hold her.”
“Sod off!”
“What if I drop her?” Regulus continued.
“Just don’t drop her. God, you’re a weird bloke.” Sirius muttered under his breath, though Regulus seemed to catch it as he levelled his brother with a glare.
His face softened considerably as Remus shifted his hold in order to transfer Aurora into Regulus’ careful arms.
He spent a few moments just looking down at his new niece, a silent conversation seeming to pass between them as Remus reached around him to stroke the downy soft skin on the side of her face.
“Okay, I’ve only known Aurora for three minutes; but if anything ever happened to her, I would kill everyone in this room and then myself.” He said simply.
Peter let out a nervous laugh before he realised Regulus was quite serious.
“Good.” Sirius said with a nod. “That’s why we picked you to be her godfather.”
Regulus’ head whipped up at that as he seemed to strengthen his hold on the baby in his arms.
“You what?”
“If anything ever happened to us, we know you’d do everything in your power to give her a good life - the best life.” You explained.
“I- but…really?”
“Yeah.” Sirius said emphatically. “Besides, you inherited all of mother and father’s dirty money anyway, might as well use it to spoil our girl.”
Though there were clearly tears forming in Regulus’ eyes, he turned his attention back to his goddaughter with a derisive scoff.
“I was planning on doing that anyway, Sirius. Je suis vraiment désolé de te dire ça, Aurora, mais ton père est un idiot.”
Remus snorted. “Already teaching her important life lessons.”
“Get bent, Moony.” Sirius sneered.

First Kiss - Remus Lupin
₊‧⁺˖⋆ Masterlist ⋆˖⁺‧₊
Summary: Sirius, James, and Peter tease Remus about his lack of a first kiss.
⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆
The Marauders’ dorm was a hub of noise and laughter that night, with Sirius sprawled out on his bed, proudly recounting his latest adventure with a girl he’d met in Herbology. He stretched his arms out with a smug smile. “Absolutely couldn’t keep her hands off me,” he said, punctuating the sentence with a wink. “Who could, right?”
James, perched on the edge of his bed, raised an eyebrow but couldn’t keep from laughing. “Right, because obviously, you’re the irresistible Sirius Black. Never mind your terrible reputation.”
Sirius rolled his eyes, crossing his arms. “At least I’m doing something about my love life, unlike some people here,” he said, nodding toward James. “Speaking of—how’s it going with Evans?”
James grinned, his eyes brightening. “Actually, better than usual,” he said, a bit bashfully. “Last time I asked her out, she didn’t seem nearly as annoyed. Progress, right?”
Sirius clapped his hands together in a grand show of celebration. “It’s happening! Lily Evans is finally seeing the charm of our dear Prongs!”
Remus, sitting off to the side with a book in hand, did his best to block out the conversation, though his lips twitched into a faint smile. He turned the page, not really reading it, but it was better than participating in the banter. Maybe, if he was quiet enough, they’d forget he was there.
But, of course, they didn’t.
Sirius smirked as he turned to Remus. “What about you, Moony? Got any secret admirers you’re hiding from us?”
Remus shrugged without looking up. “No,” he said simply, his eyes stubbornly fixed on the book in front of him, even though he hadn’t comprehended a single sentence since Sirius started talking.
James leaned back, resting on his hands, and squinted at Remus with a skeptical grin. “I bet you haven’t even had your first kiss yet, have you?”
Remus felt the tips of his ears go warm. “What does that have to do with anything?”
Peter let out a small, surprised gasp. “Wait, really? Remus, you haven’t?”
Remus gritted his teeth, shrinking back slightly as all eyes in the room turned to him. “Yes, really. So what?” he said, bristling defensively. He sank lower into his chair, feeling the familiar urge to just vanish.
James held up his hands in a calming gesture. “Nothing wrong with that! It’s… noble, even,” he said, nodding. “I’m waiting for mine, too. For Lily.” He leaned back with a dreamy look on his face, as if he could see her there in front of him, and Remus had to bite back a chuckle.
But Sirius wasn’t about to let it go. With a mischievous grin, he jumped to his feet and swaggered over to Remus, leaning close. “You know, Moony,” he whispered conspiratorially, “I could help you out. Want me to teach you how to kiss?”
Remus’s eyes widened, and he tried to pull back, clutching his book tightly to his chest. “What? No, stop that!” he stammered, face burning. “I know how to kiss. I’ve read books!”
But Sirius was undeterred, moving even closer and pursing his lips in a ridiculous kissy face. “Oh really? The books taught you, did they?”
Remus flinched, scrambling back as much as he could while stuck on the bed, his face turning an even deeper shade of red. Sirius was nearly nose-to-nose with him when the door creaked open, and a voice interrupted their antics.
“Um…” You paused in the doorway, eyebrows raised as you took in the scene. “Should I come back later?”
Remus jerked upright so quickly he almost fell off the bed. He shot Sirius a warning look and quickly scrambled away from him, trying to salvage whatever dignity he had left. “No! No, you don’t have to leave,” he said, still looking as flustered as ever. “Stay. Please.”
You glanced between them, an amused smile on your face as you walked over. “What’s going on?”
Remus coughed, his gaze shifting to the floor. “Nothing. Absolutely no—” He could only hope you wouldn’t ask any more questions.
But, of course, Peter piped up. “We were just talking about how Remus hasn’t had his first kiss yet,” he said with a cheerful grin, clearly oblivious to Remus’s mortification.
Remus shot him a look, but the damage was done. He glanced at you, his cheeks going pink all over again. He hadn’t wanted you to hear about it, of all people. If he’d felt embarrassed before, now he was ready to crawl under his bed and never come out.
“It’s not a big deal,” he muttered, clutching his book like a lifeline. “I was just going to go somewhere quiet to read. A place where they don’t talk about my… kissing experience,” he added, shooting a pointed look at his friends.
Without waiting for a reply, Remus turned and made his way out of the dorm room, his heart pounding in his chest. He was halfway down the corridor when he heard footsteps following him. He slowed down and turned to see you jogging to catch up, your face softened with concern.
“Hey, Remus,” you said gently when you reached him, looking him in the eyes. “Is it true? You haven’t, um…?”
Remus sighed, pressing his lips together. He’d never thought about his inexperience much before, but now it felt like a glaring flaw. “Yeah, it’s true,” he admitted, his voice barely more than a mumble. “It’s a bit pathetic, really, isn’t it? Everyone else—Sirius, James—they’re all so confident, and I’m just…” He trailed off, letting out a frustrated sigh.
You reached out, your hand resting on his arm, stopping him in his tracks. “I don’t think it’s pathetic at all. It’s kind of sweet, actually.” Then, with a small, knowing smile, you leaned in and pressed a soft, quick kiss to his lips.
It was so brief that Remus barely had time to process it, but when you pulled back, he was frozen in place, staring at you with wide eyes and a stunned expression. His cheeks went a brilliant shade of red, and he swallowed, completely speechless.
“There,” you said softly, smiling up at him. “Now you don’t have to be embarrassed about it.”
The sound of voices suddenly broke the quiet, and the two of you turned back to see James and Sirius shouting about something from inside the room. You chuckled, rolling your eyes. “I should probably go check on them before they tear the place apart. You go enjoy your book, alright?”
With a final, reassuring smile, you turned and walked back to the dorm, leaving Remus standing alone in the hallway, still clutching his book and staring after you, completely dazed.
He finally looked down at the page in his book, a foolish grin tugging at his lips. He knew that focusing on reading was going to be utterly impossible.

𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐃𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐂𝐇 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐒
♡ ︎ꜱʜɪᴘ: Mattheo Riddle x potter!Reader
It was one of those rare, crisp days at Hogwarts where the skies were clear, and the breeze was just right. The perfect day for Quidditch—or at least, that’s what your brother Harry would say if he weren’t busy being a massive diva about the whole thing.
The stands were packed with students from every House, cheering, waving banners, and clapping in anticipation of the Gryffindor versus Hufflepuff match. And to make the occasion even more dramatic than usual, your parents, James and Lily, had shown up, along with Sirius, Remus, and Peter, all seated proudly in the stands, ready to cheer Harry on.
Unfortunately for Harry, you had brought along a certain Slytherin boyfriend of yours—Mattheo Riddle.
“Merlin’s beard,” Harry groaned under his breath, glancing up at the stands where Mattheo had already worked his charm on the crowd. “Why did you bring him?”
You shrugged, a smirk playing on your lips. “Well, he wanted to support you.”
Harry snorted. “Support? Please, he’s just here to make me miserable.”
You glanced at Mattheo, who had somehow managed to get half the Hufflepuff supporters waving at him and even Remus giving him an approving nod. “He’s being perfectly nice. Maybe you’re the one being dramatic.”
Harry threw you a look that said he was this close to throwing himself off his broom. “Dramatic? I’m not dramatic. He’s just—ugh, why is he even waving at people?”
Sure enough, Mattheo was leaning casually against the railing of the Gryffindor stands, flashing a charming smile at anyone who passed by. Every few minutes, he waved, winked, or nodded at a student, causing a flurry of giggles and whispers.
“He’s not supposed to be the center of attention!” Harry muttered furiously, his grip tightening on his broom. “This is my game!”
You patted his shoulder in mock sympathy. “Don’t worry, Harry. Everyone still knows you’re the main attraction.”
“Barely,” he huffed.
Down in the stands, Sirius barked out a laugh, clapping Mattheo on the back. “You’ve got style, kid,” he said, clearly approving of Mattheo’s ability to woo an entire Quidditch crowd without even trying.
“Thanks, Sirius,” Mattheo replied, throwing an arm around you as you sat next to him. “Just here to support my favorite team, after all.”
Harry, overhearing from the pitch, yelled, “Gryffindor is not your favorite team, Riddle!”
Mattheo only grinned and gave him a two-fingered salute, causing Harry to grumble and fly off toward his team.
Remus leaned over to James and muttered, “He’s got quite the influence, doesn’t he?”
James laughed. “He’s a slippery one, that’s for sure. But if he’s got Lily’s approval, who am I to argue?”
Lily, who had been watching Mattheo’s interaction with you, gave a knowing smile. “I think he’s good for her. Keeps things interesting.”
Sirius waggled his eyebrows. “If Harry doesn’t throw him off a broom first.”
The whistle blew, and the game began. But the match wasn’t the only source of entertainment that day.
Every time Harry swooped in for a save, Mattheo would cheer—loudly. “Go on, Potter!” he yelled, cupping his hands around his mouth. “That’s my future brother-in-law!”
Harry nearly lost control of his broom at that, swerving dangerously to avoid a Bludger. “Future brother-in-law?” he shouted, his voice shrill. “Absolutely not!”
The Hufflepuff Seeker zipped past him while Harry was distracted, and you couldn’t help but bury your face in your hands in secondhand embarrassment.
Sirius howled with laughter. “He’s really got Harry rattled!”
“Not to mention the Hufflepuffs,” Peter added with a chuckle. “Look at them. They’re more focused on Mattheo than their own game.”
It was true. Several Hufflepuff players kept sneaking glances at Mattheo, who was now waving at them enthusiastically, giving them a thumbs-up and shouting words of encouragement like he was their biggest fan.
“RIDDLE!” Harry’s voice echoed across the pitch, and he shot a death glare at Mattheo, who was absolutely thriving in the attention.
Mattheo leaned back in his seat, hands behind his head, and winked up at the sky as though Harry’s rage fueled him. “Doing great, Potter!” he yelled, entirely too pleased with himself.
When the match finally ended, Gryffindor won by a hair’s breadth, mostly thanks to Harry’s furious speed after seeing Mattheo charm his way through half the match. The second his feet hit the ground, Harry stormed over to you and Mattheo, his broom still in hand.
“You,” Harry said, pointing an accusatory finger at Mattheo. “You are the most distracting person in the world.”
Mattheo, unfazed, smirked. “I’ll take that as a compliment.”
“It’s not!” Harry spluttered, his voice rising to that familiar, high-pitched squeak of frustration. “You—you made the Hufflepuffs fall for your stupid charm! And you kept shouting things about being my brother-in-law!”
Mattheo shrugged, throwing an arm around your shoulders. “Just manifesting the future, Potter. You know how it is.”
“No, I do not know how it is!” Harry snapped. “And stop manifesting things!”
You tried to hold back a laugh, patting Harry on the arm. “Come on, Harry, he was just cheering you on.”
“Cheering me on?” Harry repeated, looking at you incredulously. “He’s a Slytherin! He’s supposed to be evil and plotting things, not—this!” He gestured wildly at Mattheo, who was now sharing a victory fist-bump with Sirius.
“Well, mate,” James said, clapping a hand on Harry’s shoulder as he walked over, “he’s certainly got style. Reminds me of me back in the day.”
Harry looked at his father, horrified. “Dad, don’t encourage him!”
James just laughed, ruffling Harry’s already wild hair. “Relax, kid. He’s not so bad.”
“Not so bad?” Harry echoed, looking around at his family, all of whom seemed perfectly content with Mattheo tagging along. “Am I the only one who sees what’s happening here?”
Lily smiled warmly. “Harry, he’s good for her. You’ll see.”
Harry groaned, defeated, dragging a hand down his face. “I don’t understand this family.”
Mattheo grinned, pulling you closer as your parents walked ahead. “You’re just mad because I stole your spotlight today.”
Harry glared. “No, I’m mad because you exist.”
Mattheo laughed, a deep, genuine sound that made you roll your eyes but smile nonetheless. “Get used to it, Potter. I’m not going anywhere.”
With a final groan, Harry shook his head and trudged off to join the rest of the family, muttering to himself about how this had to be some kind of cosmic joke. You couldn’t help but laugh as Mattheo, walked beside you, his charm having worked its magic on everyone except your very, very grumpy brother.
“Harry’ll warm up to me eventually,” Mattheo said confidently, as if it were inevitable.
You smiled up at him, raising an eyebrow. “Or he’ll keep trying to hex you every chance he gets.”
“Ah, it’s all part of the fun,” Mattheo said with a wink. “Besides, I’ve got the rest of the Potters on my side. What’s one grumpy Chosen One?”
Harry, hearing that from a few feet away, let out another dramatic groan. “Merlin, why me?”
Somehow, you knew life was only going to get more interesting from here.
thank you so much for requesting, love!!

Sirius KNOWS he’s fine. He knows it and he knows all his fan girls and groupies are constantly just humping his leg but he makes sure reader knows she’ll always be his no.1
I was scavenging through my filled up inbox and found this - I can't remember if this was a prompt or just a thought but I decided to write a baby blurb for us girlies!!!
~0.25k words
You tug on Sirius's arm, frown playing on your lips, something akin to a pout jutting your lower lip out. Your boyfriend turns, ignoring the two girls clinging to his other arm and his smile softens into something more affectionate.
Sirius leans in closer to your ear, having to bend down to reach your ear. "What's up, baby? Wanna go home?" His voice is soft, breathing down your neck, making you shiver a little, to which he grins widely.
Nodding, you lean up to press a kiss under his jaw. "If you're ready," you murmur softly.
A laugh bubbles from Sirius. "You were just pouting at me a minute ago, and now you're acting all shy, hm?"
One of the girls on Sirius's arm - You think her name is Hannah something or the other, as she'd proudly declared to him at the beginning of the night, to which Sirius had given her a polite smile but his eyes had flickered to you after, like 'Get a load of her!' - lets out a whine of discontent as his attention stays on you.
Sirius slowly turns his head, untangling his arm from her grasp. "Sorry, ladies," he says rather cheekily, "My girl wants to hang out with me." He moves to wrap an arm around your shoulders, pressing a kiss to your temple, then murmurs against the side of your head, so soft so only you can hear: "How lucky did I get, huh?"

——————— ⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖ ࣪ ———————
Platform 9¾ was bursting with energy as the new group of first years clambered onto the Hogwarts Express. James had tucked himself in between Remus, Sirius, and Peter, practically jumping in his seat as he introduced himself to his new friends.
The four boys had excitedly rambled back and forth about their prospects at the exciting school of witchcraft and wizardry, only settling down when the train finally began to move as they waved goodbye to their families through the window.
The door slid open with an awkward creak, alerting the young Marauders to a small girl standing in the doorway. “Hi, um- can I sit here? The other cabins are full…” you spoke softly, twisting your feet in an anxious habit and biting your bottom lip.
James’ breath hitched, innocent eyes growing wide as he took you in. He nervously pushed up his glasses as his friends ushered you inside, moving food wrappers off of a seat to make room for your form.
You introduced yourself with a shy smile, promising not to bother them as you shoved your nose in a book for the rest of the journey.
James couldn’t help but ogle at your soft expressions, reacting to the exciting fantasy unfolding in between the pages of your novel. He gulped as his face grew visibly warmer, pushing up his glasses once more before turning back to his new entourage of mischief makers, already planning what would be their first of many pranks.
The Great Hall swarmed with chaos as students filtered in through gaping doors. The Sorting Hat had played in James’ favour, allowing all of his new friends into the house of brave hearted heroes.
He laughed with his friends as they stumbled to the Gryffindor Table, only distracted once again by the girl with the hat on her head. “Gryffindor!” The hat exclaimed, your eyes thrown wide with surprise as you tediously moved towards the four boys.
James grinned at you as you nodded in his direction, choosing to sit on the far end of the table with two girls who shared that stunned expression. When his attention returned to his three friends, he was met with a round of teasing coos and knowing smirks, causing him to sink down in his chair with a blush painted across his cheeks. The Sorting Hat really had answered all of his prayers.
——————— ⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖ ࣪ ———————
You stood tentatively in the crowd of red and gold, etched between Charlie and Hope in the stands as your eyes curiously followed Gryffindor’s seeker.
The Quidditch pitch was filled with adrenaline as Slytherin rocked and tumbled against the force of the lion. James Potter was speeding through the mass of players, a joyful laugh permanently plastered on his face as he wove through the commotion.
Your red sweater was proudly on display in the stands, disguised as your warmest clothing when asked why you were in house colours. You didn’t dare tell your roommates about your newfound support for the team after the introduction of their newest fourth year seeker, but they slowly caught on as your blush began to match your clothing every time the boy flew purposefully close.
His laugh faltered with a gasp when he caught your eye in the stands, glancing at your attire that you failed to cover with your hands. Your eyes met for another brief moment before Gryffindor’s golden boy was soaring once again with newfound vigour.
Your gaze followed his figure in the air, a soft smile evident on your lips. Charlie and Hope leaned forward slightly to pass a knowing smile across your stiff form, only returning their gaze to the field as their house won the match.
The walk back to the common room was quiet, a soft hum of nature surrounding the three of you as you marched along the path. That was until Charlie’s curiosity got the better of her.
“So…Potter looked quite dashing up there, don’t you think, Hope?” She pretended to ponder, gaze to the night sky. “Why, he was really something! That speed made his hair quite an endearing mess, right, love?” Hope turned to you with a teasing smirk, patiently awaiting your flustered answer.
“Uh- yeah! Yeah, he was good, you know, for an egomaniac…” you kept your eyes fixed on the path ahead of you, praying to Merlin that your blush wasn’t visible in the darkness.
“Mhmm…he seemed quite taken by this little number of yours,” Hope gestured up and down your body, “maybe you want to fuel that pretty little ego of his, hmm?” You were surrounded by a chorus of amused chuckles from your friends as your face burned under the interrogation.
“No! Well, maybe…he looked cute in the uniform, that’s all! Nothing to write home about…” You pouted with furrowed brows, kicking a pebble in your path as your friends broke out in teasing cheers.
——————— ⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖ ࣪ ———————
The Gryffindor table was filtered with soft morning light as your group eagerly grasped at any food they could get their hands on. James tucked himself securely into your side, a smug grin plastered on his face as you grumbled words of frustration, brows dipped and lips pouting at the lack of opportunity to serve yourself.
Sirius cheerfully loaded food onto his plate before passing the bowl to James, dodging your outstretched hands. Your look of frustration was about to shift to anger before the sweet boy beside you began scraping the leftovers in his grasp onto your empty plate. You turned to him with a grateful smile that he could stare at for hours, squeezing him around his middle in thanks before diving into your meal.
James continued to pile food in front of you, planting kisses across your cheeks between servings and spoonfuls before draping an arm across your shoulders. “Not so grumpy anymore, are you love?” James chuckled, “Maybe a certain boyfriend has lifted your spirits?”
You swallowed your mouthful as you nodded eagerly, looking up at him with wide eyes that melted his heart. “I think I’m finally getting this Gryffindor pride thing,” you mumbled as you reached for another spoonful of food, “Dating the captain of the Quidditch team is certainly an ego boost.”
James grinned at you, brushing his nose against your cheek with a mischievous expression. He was finally beginning to fall into a comforting routine with you, brushing aside any nerves your soft smile might ignite in him.
The others looked at the sweet pair with satisfaction, sharing looks of relief after you announced yourselves as an official couple.
“Merlin, it’s about time!” Sirius exclaimed, hitting the table hard enough to lift plates in the air at contact. The group laughed with amusement as James leant into your warmth, arms enclosed around your torso as he sighed into your skin.
The overbearing dread of unrequited, terrifying love that clouded his logic had melted away with your simple touch. This will be his year. The year he shares with you.

two ghosts | part 11
part one
James looks up at him with hope, and Sirius grins widely. “Look at you, you are the sweetest boy I’ve ever met. So pretty as well” Sirius’ tatted hand cups James’ soft, pale cheek and the younger boy melts against his skin. “Yeah?” he breathes, batting his eyelashes at Sirius, who nods proudly.
But when Sirius notices that James’ hand is moving up his thigh, he removes his hand from his cheek and stands up, walking towards a smaller chest of drawers, where you keep his clean clothes for when he comes over.
James’ breath hitches and tears start pooling at his eyes. He tries to be quiet, but you are still beside him and hear it. “What is it, sweet boy?” you ask, frowning.
He just shakes his head, burying his face into your soft pillow. “M sorry” he sobs, his tears most definitely soaking your pillow.
“Sorry?” you ask and he hums, still not looking at you. “Tried to touch Siri” he admits, “you have.. you’ve just been so good to me, I-”
“Oh, love, I’m not upset with you. I mean, who wouldn’t want to touch Siri?” you joke and he giggles softly, lifting his head from the pillow.
“Okay I’m back and I got you my shirt and this pair of boxers, I hope they fit you- Hey, why are you crying?” Sirius came back with a light yellow shirt, a deep frown settled on his face.
You share a look with him and his shoulders drop, immediately falling to his knees in front of James. His thumbs rubbed the boy’s hands comfortingly. “Thinking of her? Listen, I know it hurts, but maybe Lily isn’t─”
“It’s not about fucking Lily!” James finally snaps and Sirius’ eyes widen as he glances at you, and then back at the boy. James’ cheeks turn crimson and he starts shifting uncomfortably, as if wanting to leave. But you don’t let him.
Your delicate fingers wrap around his wrist and you tug him so he lays with his face against your chest, your other hand running through his mess of curls. James freezes for a few moments, you can feel it. He goes stiff, his arms tense as they press into the mattress, but immediately goes soft and melts into you.
“Tell us what you feel, baby boy. We want to know what’s going on in that pretty head of yours” you whisper soothingly, the tip of your fingers pressing gently against his scalp.
He sighs and Sirius looks at you alarmedly, unsure of what to do or what was happening. What could possibly get the poor boy to be so upset? He was better just moments ago.
“You have welcomed me here with you both..” he turns to eye Sirius for a moment, who’s biting on his lip as if he wants to rip it. “And I love you, I always have” he draws out his words, softly nosing at your exposed skin.
You let him have his moment and he is grateful for it. But who doesn’t?
“Prongs, I’m freaking out over here” Sirius finally snaps, his tone still gentle though, but his eyes wide as his hands are twitching at his sides.
James looks up, baby blue eyes red from crying. He smiles softly at Sirius, adoringly... but it only lasts for so long. “I don’t want to intrude.. I don’t want you to feel like you have to baby me now” he sighs, and you feel him leave your warmth, propping himself up on his elbows. “You are my friends, I don’t know what has gotten into me.”
You can tell that he is frustrated, and even in the state that he is in, Sirius can as well. His cheeks are crimson red, his hair messier than usual and he just seems so lost. His eyes seem to look for something, but he is unsure of what.
“Well... friends kiss too sometimes” Sirius shrugs and James grins widely, finally sparing him one more glance. “You think so?”
And with that, your boyfriend presses his lips to him for a moment, and a soft whimper escapes from James’ lips. When Sirius pulls away, the younger boy is in a daze, his eyes wide and his lips forming into an ‘o’ shape. You look down at him, and then up at Sirius, who gives you a knowing look.
After a moment, you guide him by his jaw to meet your own lips, trusting Sirius’ instinct. His lips are soft and you can feel him melting into the kiss. You are not cruel, you let him have a moment. He savours your lips, licking at your bottom lip and softly sinking his teeth into it, as if testing the waters. James seems to enjoy it, and you are sure of it the moment his hands find home on your waist, playing with the hem of your shirt.
You want to keep going but he is just too much. You can feel how gently he is handling you, but even the thought of kissing the boy is overwhelming, let alone actually doing it. So you pull away from his lips, and he blinks at you.
His lips are blood red. “Woah” he almost whispers, his eyes welling up with tears. He is inert.
“Oh yeah? You like that? Think about what she could do to your body” Sirius laughs, and you can tell he is only half joking. He doesn’t want to rush James, but he wishes for him to want those things. Well, all in good time─
“Please” it comes out as a needy whimper, and Jamie’s eyes are shifting rapidly between you and your boyfriend. Sirius’ eyes widen, but a wide grin slowly takes over his shocked expression.
“Tell us exactly what you need, baby” Sirius commands rather sternly, but you can tell he is just really desperate. Unfortunately, James can’t. So he hurries to answer, his head hanging low.
“Want to get off” he blushes, one of his hands coming up to ruffle his hair. “I want.. I want you to play with me and Y/n/n to...” and when he looks up at you, he can see you have unbuttoned your shirt, your tits spilling out of it slightly.
Sirius smirks, letting out a mocking ‘aweee’, and you glare at him just slightly. “Awh look, baby, he likes your tits just as much as I do” he pats James on the cheek, and he is right, the boy looks like he is drooling. “Mm no. Maybe even more.”
You giggle softly and James smiles at that, he feels like he is falling. As he is distracted, Sirius undresses him, throwing his clothes somewhere around the room, leaving James naked. But the boy is too preoccupied to notice, as you get closer to him, laying in one elbow and pulling your top down just enough for your tits to show perfectly.
“Ow!” James whines as Sirius tugs at his cock harshly, wide eyes meeting his.
“Ah, sorry” your boyfriend muses, looking uninterested as he takes the bespectacled boy’s cock in his hand, stroking it gently at first.
James grumbles, mouth latching around your nipple, his other hand taking care of your unattended tit. You can feel him moan against you as Sirius speeds up his movements, murmuring soft ‘please’s and ‘oh siri’s.
“Feels so good” he whispers, looking down at Sirius who is looking right back at him. And you know your boyfriend, he is no less than a tease.
You can see him smirk, through your lashes, and then James feels a wet mouth on the tip of his cock. Sirius.
“Fuck! Fuck f-fuck shit” James cries out, his eyes in tears as his nails dig into the soft flesh of your waist and arm.
“Sirius” you laugh breathily, kissing the poor boy’s head and holding him close to you as you shake your head at your boyfriend. “That’s how he is, love. A fucking tease.”
Sirius keeps working his mouth on James, watching both of you intently. “M gonna cum” the blue-eyed boy whimpers against you, unable to even suck on your tits anymore, even though that’s what he so desperately wants.
“You can, pretty boy” you coo at him, moving a stray curl from his face, giving your boyfriend a warning look. “Right, Siri?”
He rolls his eyes, pushing himself to take all of James’ dick down his throat, his eyes watering just slightly as the boy whimpers, dick pulsing down Sirius’ throat. “I’m-mhmm” he cries out, shaking as he cums, shooting his load for your boyfriend to savour. “Thank you thank you! Thank you.”
Sirius pulls away, and you can tell his mouth is still full when he towers over you, knees on either side of your waist as he uses one finger to tap at your lips. You open slightly and he leans in, kissing you and his tongue pokes into your mouth, helping you swallow James’ load, saving some for himself.
You moan at the taste and Jamie’s eyes widen, he gasps softly, making Sirius pull away from you to laugh at him. “You like this. You fucking slut.”

The platform is bustling with noise and movement – students waving goodbye to friends, trunks being hauled off the train, owls hooting from their cages. Steam rises from the scarlet red engine, swirling in the air like mist, while parents eagerly scan the crowd for their children.
“Are we still going to the Cannons’ match in July?” James asks, a grin spreading across his face. “I got us box seats, you know.”
Sirius snorts. “The Cannons? You’re making us watch them? Merlin, James, I thought we had better taste.”
Remus chuckles, shaking his head. “I think James just wants a front-row seat to the chaos. And maybe to see if they can manage to win one match this season.”
James laughs, nudging Sirius in the ribs. “What’s wrong, Padfoot? Scared they’ll finally surprise us?”
“I’d be more surprised if they made it through the match without knocking themselves out,” Sirius shoots back with a grin. “But sure, I’ll come. Someone’s got to keep you both entertained.”
Remus raises an eyebrow. “I think we’re going to need more than just your snide comments to make that game exciting.”
Lily, half-listening to their banter, scans the platform, her eyes darting through the crowd in search of her son. Finally, she spots him – Harry, stepping off the train with you by his side. There’s something different about them this time, though.
You both are standing impossibly close to one another, not leaving much room between the two of you. She can’t help but notice Harry’s gaze on you as you mouth words towards him. It’s soft, tender in a way she hadn’t seen before.
Remus raised an eyebrow and said, "I think we’re going to need more than just your snide comments to make that game exciting."
Sirius, feigning offense, replied, "Oi, my snide comments are the excitement. Admit it, you’d miss them."
James grinned and added, "Yeah, sure, Padfoot. Though I’m more excited about Harry showing off some new moves this summer. The kid’s going to be unstoppable."
When she turns her gaze back towards you and Harry, she sees him reaching for your luggage, his fingers brushing against yours in the process. You smile at him – that smile, the kind of smile that carries a meaning Lily can’t quite place, but it tugs at her heart, nonetheless.
Lily watches as Harry goes to pick up your shoulder bag, his hand brushing against yours, lingering just a second longer than necessary. You say something to him, and her laughs, the sound warm and genuine.
The way he looks at you – like you’re the only person on the platform – makes Lily’s chest tighten. There’s a gentleness in his movements, a protective instinct as he adjusts the strap on your bag and slings in over his own shoulder.
You don’t protest; instead, you smile at him in that familiar way, as if this has become routine, comfortable. Lily’s heart stirs with a mix of pride and something bittersweet as she realises just how much her son has grown – and how much he seems to care for you.
Sirius proudly declared, "I’m sure my daughter could give him a run for his money."
James chuckled and responded, "She already does, mate. But where are they? It shouldn’t take this long to get off the train."
Remus looked around, scanning the crowd, and said, "They’re probably taking their sweet time saying goodbye to everyone. You know how kids are – social butterflies."
Sirius frowned and asked, "It’s been ages, though. Lily, do you see them?"
Lily, absentmindedly still watching the crowd, replied, "They’re… just over there. By the luggage cart."
James raised an eyebrow and remarked, "Luggage cart? Still? What are they doing, planning an entire heist?"
Remus teased, "Maybe they’ve formed a secret alliance to avoid carrying their own bags."
Sirius then spotted them and grinned widely, exclaiming, "Ah, there they are! Oi, Harry! Kiddo! Get over here!"
James laughed and joined in, saying, "Yeah, before Sirius has a heart attack from waiting!"
Lily notices your startled expression at the sudden yelling, your eyes widening for just a moment before you regain your composure. Harry, on the other hand, takes it in stride, flashing that familiar, sheepish grin.
“Alright, alright! We’re coming!” Harry yells back, a hint of laughter in his voice as he glances at you. You roll your eyes playfully, nudging him with your elbow before both of you make your way over to the group.
Lily watches closely, her eyes catching the small, almost imperceptible details – the way Harry’s gaze lingers on you for just a second too long, the subtle closeness between your shoulders as you walk side by side. It’s as if you’re unconsciously drawn to each other, and though the others remain blissfully unaware, Lily sees it all.
Sirius grinned and exclaimed, "Finally! What took you two so long? Were you writing love letters on the platform?"
Remus chuckled and added, "or planning your escape from carrying all that luggage?"
James, with his arms crossed and a smirk on his face, remarked, "must’ve been deep in conversation about strategy for our Quidditch games."
Harry just laughed, shaking his head, while you offered a nonchalant shrug, trying to play along.
Harry grinned and replied, "yeah, something like that."
Lily teased, "well, next time, try not to keep us waiting too long. I’m sure Sirius was about to launch a full search party."
Sirius feigned indignation as he said, "I was not! I just-" He trailed off, catching himself and then admitted, "Okay, maybe a little."
Lily smiles softly, the warmth of the moment sinking in. The banter continues around her, light and full of laughter, but her thoughts are elsewhere – on her son and the quiet shift in his life.
The smell of roast chicken and fresh bread fills the Potter dining room as the family gathers around the large oak table. James is animated, waving his fork as he talks, recounting a tale of his latest mission at the Auror Office. Sirius is laughing along, his usual mischievous grin plastered on his face, while Remus sips his wine, smiling at his friends' antics.
You sit across from Harry, quietly listening, but your eyes occasionally flick to his. It’s subtle, barely noticeable, but Lily, from her seat at the head of the table, catches every lingering glance.
She watches as Harry, in between biting into his bread, keeps looking at you with a soft, almost tender expression that she hasn't quite seen before. There’s something unspoken between you, something that speaks louder than words.
"-so, we were staking out Knockturn Alley," James says, his fork poised midair, "and you wouldn’t believe it, this bloke just waltzes right past us, like he didn’t even notice we were there!"
"Probably didn’t," Sirius snickers. "You’ve got no subtlety, mate."
James scoffs, his glasses slipping slightly down his nose. "Oi, I’m subtle when I need to be!"
Everyone laughs, but Lily is distracted. She notices the way Harry’s eyes find you again, his gaze soft, lingering just a second longer than it should.
You meet his eyes, and there’s that flash of recognition, a smile tugging at your lips before you quickly look away, focusing on your plate. You seem flustered, like you're trying to keep something hidden.
"Y/N," Sirius calls over the table, oblivious to the exchange, "You’ll back me up here, won’t you? James is always messing up the simple stuff, right? You wouldn’t want him as your Auror partner."
You laugh, but there’s a slight hesitation to it. "I don’t know if I should get involved in this one," you reply, your voice light, though your eyes dart quickly to Harry again. He smiles at your answer, his grin softening just for you.
Lily feels something tighten in her chest, the realization slowly settling in. She glances at Remus and James, who are completely engrossed in their conversation with Sirius about the latest dark wizard they’re tracking, none of them noticing the subtle shifts. It’s as if the rest of the room fades away, and it’s just Harry and you in your own little world.
Harry reaches for the bowl of potatoes, offering them to you before anyone else. "Want some?" he asks, his voice gentle, almost careful.
You nod, your fingers brushing his as you take the bowl from him. There’s a moment – a flicker of something deeper – before you both snap out of it, returning to the larger conversation as if nothing happened. But Lily saw it, the way your cheeks flushed, and the way Harry’s hand lingered just a second too long.
"How’s the investigation going, anyway?" Remus asks, his voice pulling Lily back into the moment.
"Not too bad," James responds eagerly. "We’re closing in, just need to catch the bastard in the act. Shouldn’t be long now."
"And we’d catch him a lot faster if James could keep his head down for five minutes," Sirius teases, grinning. "Always getting caught out by something shiny, aren’t you?"
"That’s rich, coming from you!" James shoots back, laughing.
Everyone joins in, the laughter loud and bright, but Lily’s gaze is still on you and Harry. You steal another quick glance at him, and he, seemingly unaware that his mother is watching, grins back at you in that same gentle, knowing way.
Lily’s heart stirs. The signs are all there, so small that no one else notices, but to her, they are unmistakable. You and Harry – there’s something more, something deeper than friendship, and now that she’s seeing it, she can’t unsee it.
The summer sun shines brightly over the Potters’ backyard, the smell of fresh-cut grass mixing with the inviting scent of grilled food. The pool sparkles under the sunlight, its water cool and inviting as laughter echoes from the edge. Towels are scattered across the lawn, and the atmosphere is relaxed and carefree, the perfect family day.
Lily watches from her lounge chair, a glass of iced tea in hand, as Harry and you sit together at the edge of the pool, your feet dangling in the water. You’re both soaked, dripping from your recent swim, and Harry's hair is messier than usual, plastered to his forehead. You’re laughing at something he just said, your face lit up with amusement. There’s a playfulness between the two of you that seems different today, something more intimate.
Without warning, Harry flicks a handful of water at you, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. You yelp, splashing him right back, and soon both of you are engaged in a playful battle, water flying as you try to outdo each other. Lily can’t help but smile at the scene, but as she watches more closely, she begins to notice things she hadn’t seen before.
You and Harry are sitting closer than usual – almost too close for what would be considered casual. Your hands brush as you move, and while you both quickly pull away, the small, lingering touches are hard to ignore.
Every now and then, Harry’s gaze lingers on you just a second too long, his smile softer, warmer. When he laughs, it's like the sound is meant just for you.
Lily sips her tea, her eyes narrowing slightly as she watches the way you laugh at Harry’s joke, an inside joke, judging by the way your eyes twinkle with shared understanding. The rest of the family, Sirius, James, and Remus are off by the grill, completely oblivious to the shift in dynamic.
But Lily sees it – sees the way Harry gently nudges you with his shoulder, the way your hand instinctively rests on his arm for just a moment before you remember yourself and pull away.
It’s all subtle, so easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. But Lily is paying attention now.
Harry suddenly stands up, offering you his hand to help you up from the pool’s edge. "C’mon, Y/N," he says, that soft smile still playing on his lips. "I won’t splash you again, promise."
You roll your eyes, but you take his hand, and the way your fingers curl into his doesn’t escape Lily’s notice. You stand beside him, your shoulder brushing his as you both make your way to the picnic table where everyone else is seated.
There’s a closeness there, a quiet comfort that has always been present between you and Harry, but today it feels… different. More deliberate. More tender. Lily watches as you both sit down, slightly apart, but still close enough that your arms almost touch.
You catch Harry’s eye again, and though the moment is fleeting, the smile you share speaks volumes.
Lily’s heart tightens. It’s not that she’s surprised – Harry has always been close to you, and you’ve known each other for years – but now, in this quiet, unspoken way, she’s starting to see the truth. The small moments, the hidden touches, the way you both light up around each other… they’re no longer just friends.
And for the first time, Lily wonders if maybe they haven’t been for quite a while.
Lily stands in the quiet kitchen, the hum of the refrigerator the only sound breaking the evening stillness. She fills a glass with cool water, her thoughts drifting as she waits for the glass to fill. The soft glow of the moonlight filters through the window, casting a gentle light on the countertops, and she glances outside, her gaze drawn to the garden.
It’s then she sees them.
Under the expansive blanket of stars, you and Harry sprawled on the grass, their figures outlined against the shimmering night. They lie close together, a warmth radiating between them that Lily can almost feel from where she stands.
Harry has his arm draped over you, fingers idly playing with your hair, while you lean into him, your head nestled against his shoulder. They seem oblivious to the world around them, lost in their own little universe.
Lily’s heart swells as she watches. Their body language speaks volumes – Harry’s hand cradles yours, their fingers intertwined, while the closeness of their faces suggests a bond that goes beyond mere friendship.
They share quiet laughter, the kind that seems to bubble up from a deep-seated happiness, and for a moment, Lily is entranced by the tender scene unfolding before her.
She sips her water, careful to keep quiet, not wanting to interrupt this precious moment. She knows they’ve snuck out – Harry has a tendency to bend the rules when it comes to you – but she doesn’t mind. Not tonight. The joy radiating from them is a welcome sight, a reminder of the innocence of youth and the sweetness of first love.
In the moonlight, Harry glances down at you, his expression softening as he catches your gaze. You smile up at him, a smile that lights up your face, and Lily can’t help but smile herself.
It’s clear they haven’t shared their feelings with anyone yet, keeping their blossoming relationship a secret, but Lily knows. She sees the way they look at each other, the way they are together, and it fills her with a sense of warmth and pride.
You laugh at something Harry says, your laughter ringing like music in the still night, Lily feels a bittersweet pang in her chest. She knows this time is fleeting, these moments of pure bliss will eventually shift into something more complicated as they grow up. But for now, she cherishes the sight of you and her son, wrapped up in their own little world, oblivious to everything else.
After a moment, she quietly retreats into the kitchen, letting them have their space, knowing that this is a memory she’ll carry with her. A moment of magic, hidden under the stars.
The evening has come to a gentle close, the once lively hum of conversation now reduced to soft murmurs as the last few guests filter out of the house. Plates, cups, and party decorations are scattered across the living room, remnants of the night’s gathering. Lily stands in the kitchen doorway, observing the scene with a satisfied sigh, already bracing herself for the inevitable clean-up.
Harry is lingering by the door, chatting with James and Sirius, but something catches his eye. You’re crouching by the coffee table, collecting stray cups and stacking them in a neat pile. A small smile tugs at the corner of his mouth as he watches you for a second, and Lily notices that soft look in his eyes – the same one she’s been catching more and more recently.
Without a word, Harry breaks away from the conversation, crossing the room to where you’re picking up a plate that teeters on the edge of falling.
“Hey,” he says, voice warm and casual. “Let me help with that.”
You look up, startled but smiling, brushing a lock of hair behind your ear. “Oh, thanks, but it’s fine. I’ve got it.”
“I know you do,” Harry replies with a grin, reaching down to pick up a few more plates. “But it’ll go faster if I help. Plus, I don’t mind.”
They exchange a glance, and Lily, leaning against the kitchen counter, can see the way their faces soften when they look at each other. There’s something gentle in the way they smile – like they’re sharing a secret, like the whole room fades away whenever they’re together.
You let out a quiet laugh, shaking her head. “Okay, fine. But don’t blame me if you end up with dish duty.”
Harry chuckles, stacking a few cups in his hand. “I’ve faced worse.” He winks at you, and your laugh echoes softly through the room.
As they work together, their movements fall into an easy rhythm. Harry is close – closer than necessary, really – but Y/N don’t seem to mind. He hands you plates without you asking, their hands brushing lightly with each exchange, and each time it happens, they both glance up at each other, eyes sparkling.
Lily notices how Harry stays by your side, making sure you don’t carry too much, subtly taking the heavier load without making a fuss. When you reach for a large stack of plates, Harry steps in front of you with a playful smile.
“Here, let me get that,” he says, lifting the stack before she can protest.
You cross your arms, giving him a mock stern look. “You’re making me look bad, Potter.”
Harry grins at you, his eyes crinkling in the corners. “Just being chivalrous. You can thank me later.”
Lily suppresses a smile, pretending to be absorbed in cleaning the counter but really watching the two of them from the corner of her eye. There’s something unspoken in their interactions, a bond so clear that it makes the simplest moments – like cleaning up after a party – feel intimate. She can see it in the way Harry’s always drawn to you, how he goes out of his way to be near you, as if it’s second nature now.
They finish clearing the table, but Harry stays close to you, picking up a stray cup even though the bulk of the mess is already gone. You don’t seem to mind his presence, and Lily can tell by the way they keep stealing glances, their eyes meeting and holding for a beat too long.
“Thanks for helping,” you say quietly, your voice sincere. “I didn’t think you’d want to stick around for the boring part.”
Harry shrugs, smiling at you. “Anytime. Besides…” He hesitates for a moment, his gaze lingering on your face. “I don’t mind as long as I’m with you.”
Your cheeks flush slightly, and you duck your head with a small smile, busying yourself with wiping down the table to avoid meeting his gaze.
Lily’s heart swells as she watches them. She’s always been aware of the bond between you and Harry, but moments like this make it undeniable. It’s not just friendship or affection. There’s something deeper, something glowing between them, like they bring out the best in each other just by being close.
The room is quiet now, the clatter of dishes and laughter replaced with a kind of peaceful contentment. You and Harry finish tidying, but they don’t move apart. Even in the simple act of cleaning up, they’re glowing in each other’s presence, the connection between them unspoken yet unmistakable.
Lily watches them from her place in the kitchen, her heart warm with understanding. They don’t have to say anything for her to know what’s growing between them. It’s already there, shining in every glance, every smile, every small gesture. And though they’re not ready to share it with the world, Lily knows. It’s only a matter of time.
Lily tiptoes through the quiet house, the soft creak of the floorboards barely audible in the stillness of the night. The clock on the wall reads just after midnight – closer to 2 a.m., she thinks – as she heads into the kitchen for a glass of water.
As she nears the living room, something catches her eye. At first, she thinks it’s a shadow, but then she hears a soft sniffle – a quiet, muffled sound. Lily freezes, peeking around the corner, her hand halfway raised to turn on the kitchen light.
There, on the couch, is Harry. His arm is wrapped around you, curled into him, your face buried against his chest as if the world might shatter if you let go. His hand moves in slow, soothing strokes up and down your back, his lips close to your ear, whispering sweet words Lily can’t quite make out. You cling to him like he’s your anchor, the only thing keeping you grounded.
Lily’s heart tugs at the sight. She knows exactly why you need comforting tonight – your father, Remus, is out under the full moon, fighting the battle that comes with his condition. And though you have known your whole life what this night means, it doesn’t make it any easier.
Lily doesn’t need to get closer to see the red puffiness around your eyes, the way your shoulders shake slightly, even though you’re quiet now. You’ve been crying. And Harry… her sweet boy… is there, holding you together.
For a moment, Lily can’t move. She watches the way Harry cradles you like you’re something precious, whispering things only meant for your ears. His voice is soft but firm. “I’ve got you,” he murmurs, pressing a gentle kiss to the top of your head. “It’s going to be okay, Starlight. I promise. I’m right here. I won’t let go.”
Lily feels something stir deep within her at the tenderness in Harry’s words, the nickname Starlight. She’s heard him call you that in passing, but here, in the dim glow of the room, it carries a deeper meaning – an intimacy she hadn’t quite registered before.
She watches Harry pull you closer, if that’s even possible. His arms wrap around you tighter, as if trying to shield you from every pain in the world. And you, for all your quiet strength, look so fragile in this moment. The way you curl into him, your breath still a little shaky, makes it clear you only just stopped crying.
Lily’s heart aches, but it also swells with pride. Her son… her sweet, kind Harry… is exactly the person she raised him to be. Gentle. Compassionate. He’s the one you turn to, the one who can make you feel whole when everything else is spinning out of control.
When did this happen? she wonders, her gaze softening as she takes in the scene. She knew you were close, of course. You had always been a part of their lives, but this… this is different. The way you hold each other, how Harry’s entire focus is on you, as if nothing else in the world matters. Lily realizes then that this isn’t just friendship. It’s something much deeper.
They love each other, Lily thinks, her heart both heavy and warm at the same time. She’s seen love before – felt it in her own bones with James – but seeing it blossom between her son and you are something else entirely. She didn’t expect to see it so soon, but it’s undeniable now. The way Harry whispers your name, the way you seem to find comfort in his touch alone.
Harry’s voice breaks through her thoughts again, soft and gentle as he reassures you. “Your dad’s going to be alright. Just breathe with me, okay? We’ll get through this together.”
You nod weakly, sniffling into his chest, your fingers clutching at the fabric of his shirt. “I know… I just hate waiting. I feel so helpless.”
“I know,” Harry soothes, his thumb brushing against your shoulder in slow circles. He wipes away your tears with the pads of his fingers, pressing gentle kisses to your forehead as if he could kiss away all your worries. “But you’re not alone, Y/N. You’ve got me. You’ve got all of us. I’m right here, and I’m not going anywhere.”
Lily can barely breathe. There’s something about Harry’s words that feels almost sacred in this moment. He’s so sure, so steady, offering you the kind of comfort that only comes from someone who truly understands the weight of your worry. It’s more than just words; it’s a promise.
She can feel the depth of your connection now, the unspoken bond between you that has quietly grown over the summer. Maybe longer, she muses, realizing how blind she’s been to this. But now that she sees it, she can’t unsee it.
You’re in love. And it’s the kind of love that warms her heart to witness. Harry isn’t just comforting you tonight because he’s a kind friend – he’s holding you because he needs to, because he can’t stand to see you in pain.
Lily stands there for a few more moments, not wanting to intrude. She feels a swell of pride, mixed with a bittersweet realization that her little boy isn’t so little anymore. He’s growing up, finding his own path, just like she and James once did.
With a soft sigh, Lily turns on her heel, quietly retreating back down the hall. She doesn’t need to say anything. Not tonight. You have your moment, and it’s yours to keep. As she heads back upstairs, she allows herself a small smile, knowing that Harry is exactly where he needs to be, with the person who makes him happy.
The living room buzzes with energy as James shuffles the cards with a dramatic flair, his brow furrowed in mock concentration. “Right, everyone, brace yourselves,” he declares. “Tonight’s the night I finally beat all of you – and you can’t blame your bad luck on the moon, Moony.”
Remus snorts, leaning back in his chair, his arms crossed. “Considering I’ve beaten you the last three game nights, I’d say luck has nothing to do with it.”
“Remus, I’ve been letting you win,” James retorts, grinning as he deals the cards, throwing them to each player with exaggerated force. “It’s all part of my long-term strategy to lull you into a false sense of security.”
“Is that what we’re calling your losing streak now?” Sirius quips from the other side of the table, his feet kicked up on an ottoman, his eyes lazily scanning his cards. “Because, mate, I was starting to think you’d peaked in your Quidditch days, and it’s been downhill ever since.”
“Excuse you,” James shoots back, faking offense. “I’m still in my prime. Potter magic never fades. Right, Lil?” He looks over his shoulder at Lily, who smirks from her spot on the couch.
“I don’t know, love,” she teases, shaking her head with a knowing smile. “You were just complaining about your back this morning.”
Sirius cackles, slapping the arm of his chair. “Potter, the Quidditch legend, brought down by back pain! You really are getting old, mate.”
“Oh, shove off, Pads,” James grumbles, though he’s laughing. “It’s all tactical. I’m pacing myself, saving my energy for the crucial moments.”
“Sure, sure,” Remus mutters, shaking his head as he gathers his cards. “Because complaining about your back is all part of a master plan.”
Lily chuckles quietly, her eyes drifting over the table to where you and Harry sit across from each other. Their banter continues to fill the room, but Lily notices how Harry’s eyes flick to you every time you adjust your cards. His expression softens in those brief moments, like he’s more interested in her than the game.
You, too, sneak glances at Harry, especially when he’s not paying attention. It’s subtle, but Lily catches every lingering look, every quiet smile, like they’re sharing something no one else in the room can see.
“Well, if we’re done with the lovebirds' reunion,” Sirius drawls, pulling Lily’s attention back to the game. “Shall we get this over with? Remus, I fully expect you to lose miserably this time. No excuses.”
Remus raises an eyebrow. “We’ll see, Pads. Though if I were you, I’d focus more on keeping up with the game and less on running your mouth.”
James laughs, flipping his first card onto the table. “Oh, you know he can’t help himself, Moony. It’s all part of his charm.”
Sirius opens his mouth to respond, but Lily notices that Harry has just made a clever move, earning a cheer from James. “Well played, Harry!” James calls out, though his grin is full of fatherly pride.
While the others are still reacting to Harry’s success, Lily notices how your face lights up. You shoot a proud, affectionate smile toward Harry, your eyes sparkling, though you quickly glance down at your cards again before anyone else can catch you.
Harry, seemingly aware of your admiration, glances your way and meets your eyes. His lips curl into a soft, almost secretive smile, one that’s just for you.
Sirius interrupts the moment, pointing at the cards on the table. “All right, no more distractions! Let’s see if Harry can keep this streak going, or if James’s legendary losing streak is contagious.”
“Oi!” James retorts, but it’s clear everyone’s having fun. Remus, always the voice of calm, rolls his eyes.
Lily, watching from the sidelines, can’t help but smile to herself. Even amid the playful banter and noise, Harry and yours quiet, unspoken connection stands out. They’re on the verge of something, even if no one else sees it just yet.
Sirius throws another playful insult across the table, and everyone laughs, but Lily’s focus remains on the two of them. No one else seems to notice the way Harry and you keep sneaking those glances at each other – except her. They’re playing their own game tonight, one that has nothing to do with cards.
The afternoon sun filters softly through the large windows of the Potter house, casting golden light across the garden. The last few minutes of lunch are winding down, the conversation at the table growing quieter as everyone settles into a relaxed, post-meal calm. Plates are scattered with crumbs, and empty glasses glisten in the sunlight. James and Sirius are still chatting, their voices loud and animated, while Remus listens quietly with a soft smile, nodding occasionally at their banter.
Lily sits back in her chair, her gaze drifting across the table to where Harry and you sit side by side. They’re not speaking much, but there’s a comfortable ease between them, a kind of unspoken understanding that Lily has become used to noticing.
Harry’s hand moves subtly under the table. It’s a small, almost imperceptible gesture, but Lily catches it. He slips something into your hand – something small, delicate. His expression remains neutral, but there’s a flicker of something playful in his eyes, something secretive.
Your fingers close around whatever it is, and your cheeks flush a soft pink. You glance quickly at Harry, a shy smile playing at the corners of your lips, and then down at your lap where your hand still holds the small gift.
Lily doesn’t need to see what Harry has given her to know it’s something meaningful. It’s the way they’re both trying to be discreet, as if they’re sharing a secret, just the two of them. Your blush deepens, and you bite your lip, trying to stifle your grin. You peek at the tiny object in your hand before tucking it away in your pocket.
Harry leans back casually, pretending to listen to James and Sirius’s conversation, but there’s a quiet satisfaction in his expression. His foot nudges yours under the table, a soft, playful touch that goes unnoticed by everyone except you – and Lily.
Your eyes flicker toward Harry, your smile growing. You lift your hand slightly under the table, as if to squeeze his fingers in thanks, but the moment is so brief, so subtle, it’s almost invisible. Almost.
But not to Lily.
She watches, her heart swelling with warmth. It’s such a small, tender thing – this exchange between them. A tiny note or perhaps a flower from the garden, passed between them like a secret promise. Whatever it is, it makes you glow, your usual calm demeanour softening into something more vulnerable and open. Harry, too, seems lighter, more at ease, like being close to her is enough.
Lily keeps her gaze on them for another beat, a knowing smile tugging at her lips. It’s clear they’re doing their best to keep this little gesture between themselves, but she can’t help but feel a sense of pride watching them. They’re careful, quiet about whatever is growing between them, but it’s undeniable.
James laughs loudly at something Sirius says, the sound breaking through the soft quiet of the moment. You shift in your seat, pulling your hand out of your pocket, your expression carefully neutral again, though your blush still lingers. Harry, ever so casual, stretches his arms over his head, flashing you another quick smile.
Lily turns back to the conversation around her, but the image of Harry and you, their subtle exchange, stays with her. It’s moments like this that make it all so clear – the way they move around each other, how even the smallest touches and quiet gestures hold so much meaning. They’re trying to keep their feelings hidden, but for Lily, it’s as obvious as the sunshine pouring through the windows.
She says nothing, though. There’s no need to rush them. Let them have their secrets. Let them enjoy these little moments for themselves, for now. Lily watches them out of the corner of her eye, and her smile lingers, knowing that, whatever it is they’re sharing, it’s something special.
Lily moves quietly through the hallway, a folded pile of laundry in her arms, when the soft murmur of voices catches her attention. It’s coming from the sitting room, and she recognises them instantly – Harry’s low, familiar tone and the softer voice of you.
She slows her pace, curious but careful, not wanting to interrupt. Their voices are hushed, intimate, and though she doesn’t mean to eavesdrop, something about the tension in the air makes her stop just outside the doorway.
“I just… I don’t know how much longer we can keep this secret,” Harry says, his voice carrying an undercurrent of vulnerability. "I mean, I hate that we have to hide it – us. You mean everything to me, Y/N."
There’s a pause, and Lily can practically hear the nervous energy between them. Your voice, softer now, almost hesitant, responds, “I know, Harry. I feel the same. But what if things change once everyone knows? What if-”
“They won’t,” he cuts her off gently but firmly. “Not for me. Not ever.”
Lily’s breath catches in her throat. She leans subtly against the wall, not daring to move, not wanting to miss a word. Harry sounds so sure, so ready to take that next step, and it’s clear to Lily what’s coming next. A confession. A leap.
There’s a moment of silence, and then Harry’s voice comes again, quieter now, almost as if he’s gathering his courage. “Y/N, I – there’s something I’ve been wanting to say. For a while now.” His words are filled with emotion, raw and unguarded. “I think I’m ready to-”
A sudden noise from the kitchen shatters the moment – Sirius, unmistakably, laughing loudly as he fumbles with something. The clattering of dishes follows, and you and Harry both fall silent, the intimate atmosphere broken in an instant.
Lily hears you let out a soft laugh, the tension between them easing, though she can tell they’re still lingering on the edge of something unspoken. “Of course,” you mutter, clearly trying to mask her disappointment with humour. "Always at the best part."
Harry chuckles too, but it’s strained, like he’s lost the momentum he had been building. "Yeah, typical timing."
Lily feels the weight of the moment slip away, but there’s no denying what she’s just witnessed. They’re both holding back, hovering on the brink of admitting how deep their feelings run, but something keeps stopping them. Maybe it’s the fear of what comes next – of sharing their love with the world – or maybe it’s simply the enormity of the words themselves.
As she listens to them exchange a few more quiet words, something stirs within Lily. She knows that this moment isn’t the last. Whatever Harry was about to say, whatever you were feeling, it’s only a matter of time before they find the courage to cross that line. It’s inevitable.
Smiling softly to herself, Lily moves away from the doorway, careful not to draw attention. She leaves them to their half-finished conversation, knowing that they’ll find their way back to it soon enough. And when they do, she’ll be ready for the day they finally share their secret with the world.
Lily stands at the dresser, brushing her hair, her eyes distant as she watches James change into his pyjamas. The room is warm, softly lit by the bedside lamp, casting a cozy glow over the space. James flops down onto the bed, stretching with a contented sigh, but he notices that Lily seems unusually quiet tonight.
He glances at her, a playful smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. “Alright, what is it? I can practically see the wheels turning in your head.”
Lily bites her lip, unsure of where to begin. She puts down her brush and turns to face him. “It’s about Harry,” she says softly, moving to sit on the edge of the bed.
James props himself up on his elbows, intrigued. “Harry? What’s he done now? He’s not sneaking out to play Quidditch at midnight again, is he?”
Lily chuckles, shaking her head. “No, no… it’s not that.” She takes a deep breath, searching for the right words. “It’s about him and her.”
James raises an eyebrow, clearly not following. “Her?”
Lily gives him a look, as if it should be obvious. “Y/N.”
James sits up a little straighter, his curiosity piqued. “Ohhh, I see. What about them?”
Lily hesitates, her voice dropping to a whisper. “I think… I think they’re more than just friends, James.”
James’ eyebrows shoot up in surprise. “Really? Harry? And Y/N?” He leans back, processing this information. “What makes you think that?”
Lily smiles softly, her thoughts drifting back to the moments she’s seen. “I’ve noticed little things, over the summer. They’re always together, which isn’t unusual, but… they’ve been holding hands when they think no one’s looking. And the way they glance at each other… it’s not just friendly. There’s something deeper there.”
James stares at her, a bit stunned. “Holding hands? Are you sure?”
Lily nods. “I’ve seen it more than once. And tonight, during dinner… I saw them giggling, soft little laughs that only they seemed to share. Harry even gave her something – a small gift, I think, but I couldn’t see what it was. She looked so happy, James. I’ve never seen him look at anyone like that before.”
James runs a hand through his hair, letting out a low whistle. “Blimey. I mean, I knew they were close, but… this is different. Our boy’s in deep, isn’t he?”
Lily lets out a small, wistful sigh, folding her hands in her lap. “I’ve been watching them, and it’s not just puppy love. I think they really care about each other.”
James watches her carefully, sensing there’s more to this. “You’re holding something back,” he says, his voice gentler now. “What else have you noticed?”
Lily hesitates, her cheeks warming slightly. “I… I saw them kiss,” she admits quietly, her eyes flickering up to meet his. “In the garden a few days ago. It wasn’t anything dramatic, just… sweet. Soft. But it felt like I was seeing something private, so I didn’t say anything.”
James blinks, clearly surprised but also slightly impressed. “Kissed? Harry?” He chuckles, shaking his head in disbelief. “Our little Harry, snogging my best friend’s daughter. Merlin, I never thought I’d see the day.”
Lily lets out a soft laugh, though there’s a touch of emotion in it. “He’s growing up, James. Faster than I expected. And I know he’ll come to us when he’s ready to tell us, but… it’s strange, seeing it happen before our eyes.”
James moves closer, taking her hand in his. “It’s bound to be strange, love. We’ve had him to ourselves all this time, and now… well, he’s finding his own way. But if he’s found someone who makes him happy, then that’s all we can ask for, isn’t it?”
Lily nods, her voice soft. “I just wasn’t ready to see it. I’ve watched him grow from that little boy who’d follow me around everywhere, to this young man who’s falling in love.” She smiles, though her eyes are misty. “It makes me proud… and a little sad, all at once.”
James wraps an arm around her, pulling her close. “I get it. It’s hard watching them grow up. But you know what? He’s a good kid. And if he’s with her, I’m sure he’s doing alright. Besides, she’s practically family. Can’t imagine a better match for him.”
Lily leans into his embrace, finding comfort in his words. “I know,” she whispers. “I just hope they both know what they’re doing.”
James kisses the top of her head, smiling down at her. “They’ll figure it out, just like we did. Let them have their moments, and when Harry’s ready, he’ll come to us.”
Lily nods, feeling the weight lift slightly from her chest. “You’re right. We’ll wait. But it does make me happy, seeing him like this. He’s… different with her. Softer, more open. And she cares for him, I can tell.”
James grins, a teasing glint in his eye. “Just like you and me, then?”
Lily laughs, swatting his arm. “Don’t get too smug.”
“Can’t help it. He’s got my charm, after all,” James quips, waggling his eyebrows at her.
Lily rolls her eyes, but there’s affection in her smile. “You’re impossible.”
“But you love me anyway,” James says, pulling her down beside him with a grin.
Lily rests her head on his chest, the soft sound of his heartbeat calming her. “Yeah,” she whispers. “I do. And I’m sure, one day, Harry will feel the same way about her.”
James presses a kiss to her forehead, holding her close as they settle into bed, knowing that their boy is growing up, and trusting that, just like them, he’ll find his way.

The first time it happened, it was in your third year herbology class shared between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff.
The lesson was based on the defanging of vampiric vegetation. The plants themselves were somewhat sentient and could sense the advances of other living beings, which made it quite burdensome to collect its fangs for potion ingredients. However, with the right tools and technique, demonstrated by Professor Sprout, it could prove to be quite a prompt and uncomplicated task to labour.
“Does everyone have their gardening and dental tools?” Professor Sprout asks, encouraging everyone to survey their workstations before confirming that they were ready to try their hand at defanging, “Brilliant! You may begin when you are ready and I will make rounds about the greenhouse if anyone needs assistance.” And so everyone got to work.
You found that the toiling and labour came naturally to you so it wasn’t surprising that you were the first in the whole class to complete the work. With a proud smile and huff of satisfaction, Professor Sprout approached you, singing praises for her fellow Hufflepuff. She awarded you ten points before persuading you with extra should you be willing to help out your other classmates. “I’d be happy to, professor,” you smile as she nods proudly. “15 more points to Hufflepuff,” she gave you a wink before sending you on your way. Naturally, you floated about the greenhouse, helping your fellow Hufflepuffs with their defanging technique as well as some Gryffindors. You were just about to approach another struggling student when you heard a shout of pain to your far left. Instantly, your caring nature took control and you rushed to the person, who you quickly discovered was Sirius Black. The notorious prankster shared a workstation with Peter, his fellow marauder, who fussed about him uselessly, not knowing what to do. “What happened?” you asked with furrowed brows and concerned eyes. “Sirius was getting a little frustrated with the plant and decided to take off his gloves—” that was all you needed before you were at Sirius’s side and inspecting the scratch he had retained from his idiocy. “Never compromise your safety, okay? Thank goodness it’s nothing serious, nevertheless…” you crouched down to open up the bottom cupboard of their workstation for the first aid kit and immediately went about treating the shallow wound on Sirius’s hand. As you focused on treating his injury, you completely missed his fascinated stare and rosy cheeks.
Despite Sirius finally finding his family in the marauders, this was the first time he had experienced such tender care and loving hands. And with such a pretty face too…Sirius thought to himself, lost in the image of you and wholly forgetting the pain from his injury. Your gentle touch, worried profile and pleasant disposition throughout the interaction left quite the impression on him. “What’s your name?” was his quiet question - unusual for his standardly loud and boisterous expressions. Only after you had taken care of his wound, did you finally introduce yourself with a warm smile. He whispers your name with a growing grin before regarding your appearance thoughtfully. It was, somewhat, intimidating to be under his steel-grey stare but his admiring nod and toothy grin was reassuring enough, “I’m Sirius,” he introduces and grins when you giggle and explain that you already knew.
“Ah!” Sirius cries before shouting for you. You were both in your sixth year now and his theatrical antics around you have only grown more common, progressing from intentionally acquired small wounds from ‘accidents’ in shared classes to staged aches and pains from a simple brushing of the hand in corridors, “Help me, doll! I’m in pain,” always so dramatic, Sirius flails his arms and attempts to forge tears on his way to you. This occurrence had become so common that nobody bats an eye whenever Sirius lets out a pained cry anymore. Everyone knows that it’s only because Sirius has somehow spotted you in the crowd and wants your attention. It was attention you were more than willing to give, however, so you had no complaints. “Awww~ Sirius~” you coo, playing to his wants every time and never discouraging him from approaching you despite his obvious intentions. To meet him, you stand from your seat in the open courtyard bench and open your arms for him to fall into. His tall figure, however, keeps him standing, his arms wrapping around your smaller stature from above your shoulders. Sirius nuzzles his face into your hair and hums in content when he is able to indulge in your familiar, comforting scent., “are you alright?” He doesn’t say anything and instead pulls back to look at you with an unsatisfied pout, as if he was upset at you for something— “are you alright darling?~” you repeat, eliciting a wide grin before he’s back to cuddling you and burying his face into your hair. “James hit me!” he whines pathetically and you giggle to yourself when you see the accused give Sirius an incredulous look from behind. Lily giggles at James’s dismay and hugs him from the side, the brunette rolls his eyes and smiles good-naturedly, adjusting his glasses before returning her embrace.
“I’m sure he didn’t mean it, sweetheart,” you swear you can hear Sirius purr from the nickname you call him by. He, at some point in your fifth year, demanded that he be the only one you call by such loving endearments after going into a strop when he overheard you calling your Ravenclaw friend with similar affection.
“It still hurts,” was his pouty response. Some people may argue that Sirius was taking full advantage of your established kindness but you always shook off the comments. Kindness was a part of your nature and it felt good to take care of others so it was a win-win situation for both of you. A majority of the time, it wasn’t a serious issue, like now, but for if and when Sirius actually needed medical attention, you had practised some healing spells and carried a small muggle and wizard first aid kit with you everywhere. When Sirius found this out, he had somehow managed to increase the amount of times he would go to you for attention. He would dramatise everything: a brushing of someone's shoulder, an incident with a potion, another accident in herbology or even a playful hit from one of his friends.
Patting his back softly, you pull your face away from his chest to look up at him, “what do you want me to do to make it feel better?” you prompt with a warm smile.
Following all your usual dialogue, you guess that he may ask for a longer hug, sweets, for you to make him his favourite tea or to lay his head on your lap while you pet his hair and pretend to cast a healing spell on him through your consoling touch.
There was a pause as Sirius thought over what he wanted, staring off to the side before finally meeting your attentive, warm eyes once more. His lips pull up into a small smile as he leans down close enough for your noses to touch. The action makes the air catch in your throat as his request sends your heart racing in your chest.
“I want a kiss…”

Just like old times
Sirius Black X Female!Reader
SMUT AT THE END
CW: character deaths, smut
Post Azkaban
·.★·.·´¯`·.·★ ·.★·.·´¯`·.·★ ·.★·.·´¯`·.·★ ·.★·.·´¯`·.·★
The order of the phoenix is once again in need, as more cases involving Voldemort rise. With actions to be done, the members work hard together to devise a plan against him. The old home of the Black family is quiet and dark, yet filled with small chatter.
As a member of the order of the phoenix, You weren’t a stranger to the place, in fact, you’ve been there before. Before his imprisonment in Azkaban, you were close with Sirius Black and spent quite a bit of time in his home in secret.
You quietly walk around the place before the routinely meeting started. Silently admiring the intricate walls and antique furniture, almost as though you were walking through a distant memory.
“(Y/n)!” You hear a voice call
You turn your head and see Nymphadora , giving her a warm smile.
“Meeting in 15” she grins, you thank her and nod and make your way down the corridors of the house.
As you continue walking you come across a familiar room, one that you recognize just from the door itself.
You open the door slowly and look around to see a messy room with red duvets on the bed and of course; a gryfindor banner still proudly hanging on the wall. Smiling at the sight, you ignore the dust flying everywhere and step in, obvious that the room hasn’t been touched in many years.
This was Sirius’s room.
A soft solemn feeling washes over you along with the memories you held deep within you. The memories of your time in hogwarts spent with him. With nights filled with endless conversations and laughs, contrasting with the secrecy of your friendship with him, the memory was a bittersweet one. You remember how it all eventually came to an end soon after the Marauders fell apart. The many promises made to one another to stay in contact even after leaving hogwarts.
You slide a finger across the cover of a dusty book
You can’t help but remember the news you received learning about the death of James and Peter, along with Sirius’s imprisonment in Azkaban. All the fingers pointed to Sirius after the death of the muggles and Peter, even going as far as saying he betrayed Lily and James, but you knew that wasn’t true. You knew him far too well, but no one seemed to believe it but you. After that the thought of Sirius filled you with sorrow and worry, you knew he was supposed to be a free man.
Breaking out your trance, you let out a sigh and have a seat on the bed. Looking over at the nightstand, a thin layer of dust covered the lamp from head to toe, along with a framed group photo of everyone, including you. With gentle hands, you pick up the frame to get a better look. Blowing the dust off it you can now clearly see all the smiling faces you remembered and cherished. Even though the group was no longer complete, you couldn’t help but smile. Setting the photo back down onto the stand, you open its drawer. Inside the bottom was littered with numerous letters.
Your eyes widen at the sight, you wrote all of these many years ago over the summer when you and Sirius were apart. Lying near the faded parchment, your eyes darted to a small necklace with a gem pendant. The one you left at his home all those years ago. Your mouth parted slightly shocked that he kept them, you gently close the drawers and let out a small content sigh.
Though it’s been over ten years since you’ve seen any of them, the countless tears shed will always be a reminder of what things were before; you missed all of them dearly.
You missed Sirius dearly.
You would be lying to yourself if you said that you’ve never liked him at some point when you were in hogwarts. But seeing how so many girls swooned over the rebellious handsome dark haired Sirius Black, your teen self decided not to pursue him. Remembering how much James and Remus teased you about how your feelings for Sirius was as clear as day, a slight tinge of regret fills you. You ignore the thoughts of regret, what’s done is done anyways.
You get up and brush off the dust on you and leave the room, remembering the meeting being held. You make your way back into the main room, hearing dumbledores voice you worried you may be a tad bit late.
You peek over the corner of the door and see that the meeting has already starting, you jump when you hear dumbledore speak
“(Y/n), just in time, please have a seat” he smiles gently
Before you could even make another step into the room, your eyes widen as they fall on a rugged man at a table.
“Ah, you finally decided to show” Sirius says voice rough yet still melodious. Your heart does a little jump at the sound of his voice. The eyes in the room direct to you, all seeing your surprised face.
You nervously make your way to the table and have a seat, while your eyes left the familiar man, he stayed in your mind the whole time. With a relaxed expression Sirius’s watched you as you sat, his grey eyes never leaving you.
However you suddenly feel very aware, aware of the fact that you were sitting across from the man whom you missed so dearly. As the meeting goes on, your eyes peek back at him every so often, studying his face noticing the obvious change caused by Azkaban, nonetheless he was still the handsome boy from hogwarts all those years ago. A soft tender feeling along with one of relief fills your heart as you plan on reconnecting with the man after the meeting.
As you tried to focus still on dumbledores words, Sirius eyes dart across the room remembering in the familiar faces of old acquaintances. His eyes fall upon you and your nostalgic presence. He hadn't seen you since the fateful night everything changed. As he locked gazes with you, a mix of emotions shows on his face, one of regret and longing. Your face softens as you look at him, bringing your lips to a small smile.
The meeting continues on as the two of you share stolen glances at each other, both with heavy yet joyful hearts at the sight at one another. Your heart feels the same as it did all those years ago, so many questions yet to be answered.
The meeting eventually comes to an end, you and Sirius share a longing glance at each other as the rest of the members begin to get up from the table. Everyone exchanged their goodbyes for the time being while you and Sirius still sat quietly at the table.
“Still as pretty as always (y/n), you haven’t changed one bit” you hear Sirius say from across the table.
You roll your eyes playfully at his response.
“What happened to hello you sly dog?” You say laughing, a tender feeling fills your heart to see he was still the same as well. As the laughter dies down the room once again returns to silence.
“Sirius..” you say breaking the silence of the now empty room. The sound of you saying his name brought him a nostalgic warmth.
"(Y/n), I didn't think I'd see you again," he said with a soft yet regretful voice “been a while hasn’t it doll?” You can feel that his words carry years of pain and longing.
You nod, “it has hasn’t it?, we should catch up Sirius” you say getting up from the table. “Let’s walk around for old times sake, this time without fear” you laugh remembering you couldn’t freely roam around here in fear of his parents seeing you.
A grin appears on his face as he gets up from the table as well. "Ah, the good old days, I have to admit, I do miss causing trouble with you (y/n)” he said chuckling
The two of you walk side by side in the halls as the familiarity of the home begin to set in.
"How... how have you been?" Sirius asked his voice filled with curiosity. Despite the years and his own troubles, he wanted to know about your life since he had been gone. He missed you all this time.
Everyone knew he went to Azkaban shortly after the events of James and Peter for over a decade. But not everyone knew it was to be locked away, for a crime he didn’t commit. Being known as the man who betrayed his friends. Even then, you never left his thoughts, he was filled with regret and guilt being away from you. He had no one but himself those 12 years, he had desperately hoped at least someone would believe him.
“Been alright Siri, after hogwarts I started working at an apothecary now, so it’s been quite busy, especially with the meetings.” You say smiling letting him lead the way now.
"An apothecary, huh? That sounds... fitting. Potions was always your thing." Sirius said with a surprised but affectionate look
“I guess you could say that Siri” you grin widely
"I imagine you're probably quite successful at it too. Always were a bit of a secret genius, weren't you?" His smile cheekily as he continued walking
A sweet feeling washes over the two of you as you walked and made small conversation to catch up with each others lives. You see Sirius stop when he reaches his old bedroom door.
“Merlin… I haven’t been in here for forever” he said with a nostalgic but sad look on his face.
You gently hold onto his arm as he opens the bedroom door.
He moved further inside, his eyes lingering on the old memories in which the room held. He settled down on the edge of the dusty bed, with heavy thoughts; patting the spot next to him to signal you to sit as well. As the two of you sit the air grows weary by the second.
"It's strange, being back here... Seeing everything again..." Sirius says with his eyes wandering around the room still. You rub his back trying to comfort him and he lets out a soft sigh. The feeling of your touch comforts him, brings him back to a time before all those years In Azkaban, to a time where life was kinder. But deeper than that, it brought him back to a time where he was with you.
“It is isn’t it? I remember you used to sneak me over Siri, that was a lot of fun wasnt it?” You say looking at him with a smile trying to lighten the situation; hoping it’ll help him look past it
"Sneaking you in was certainly... eventful. I remember the risk... the moments where we laughed all night and told stories to each other, and the way you took up half the bed when you slept” he said laughing, but his eyes looked somber remembering those memories, the simplicity of youth so distant now.
You nudge him playfully at the bed remark and lean slightly on his shoulder.
"There's so much I haven't told you.” He said looked around
(y/n)..." Sirius said breaking the silence, his voice quiet. He stared straight ahead at the tattered curtains; avoiding your gaze. "After... everything. Azkaban too. So many things I wish I could explain... and apologize for..." his voice trailed on
You shake your head, “you don’t have to apologize for anything Sirius” you said quietly.
He lets out a dry laugh, doubting your words as he shakes his head.
"But I do,(y/n)... I owe you so much more than an apology." His eyes met yours eventually, looking remorseful “I never wanted to leave you, you know that, right? Everything that happened... feels like it was my fault.” He says with a sigh.
“But it wasn’t Siri, and you know that too.” You begin to rub his back again, you can tell that he’s still carrying all the weight from the past. He stirs slightly under your touch, but doesn’t pull away. Your heart hurts from seeing him like this.
"I should've... done more. Should've been there for you. For Harry. For James and Lily... I should've done something," Sirius said, his voice heavy with guilt.
“You did all that you could, you did your best, none of this was your fault Sirius, I know what you’ve heard what others have said but I’ve believed you from the start.” You say almost pleading
Sirius looks at you with a mixture of surprise and gratitude at your words. For the first time in years, someone believed in him, trusted him even. He feels some guilt wash away upon hearing it, a sense of comfort replacing it.
"You... believed me?" He whispered quietly, his voice still showing his disbelief.
“Of course, I’ve always have Siri” you said with a soft smile.
Leaning slightly closer to him you see small tears brimming in his eyes, with mixture of relief and regret. You reached out, your hand gently cradling the side of his face, your soft fingers caressing his stubbled cheeks. All you wanted to do was make him feel safe again.
"Thank you. You... you have no idea how much that means to me." He said his voice breaking.
His gaze lingered on your face, studying your features carefully full as if he was trying to make up for the years he spent away from you. The weight of his past seemed to lift ever so slightly with your presence. He leaned in closer, his face now inches from yours
"I've missed you, (y/n). So damn much. You were... the one thing I held onto during my darkest time, you were my light, the thing I looked forward to when I broke out." Sirius said his voice quivering as a tear ran down his face.
“I’m here now Sirius, I missed you so much too, I always worried about you while you were away, I missed everything we had before it all changed” you cooed as you continued to caress his face.
He closed his eyes, giving into your touch, your words soothing his aching soul. Sirius out a shaky exhale, a mixture of pain and longing. All he wanted was for time to stop, to keep this brief moment of vulnerability with you forever.
"(Y/n)... I've dreamed of this... seeing you again, hearing your voice. It felt like a lost hope, a distant memory I would never relive, I thought I was gonna die there..."
He pulled you closer, his arm wrapping around your waist, pulling you onto his lap.
You held him close as held you intimately, he buried his face into the crook of your neck, his arms holding onto you as if he feared you'd slip away from his grasp forever. He took in the familiar scent of you, the one always remembered.
“I really missed being held by you Siri.. it was the one thing i looked forward to when I hoped to see you again, I’m so happy you’re here.” You muttered quietly as you savored the moment.
"All those years... the loneliness, the fear, the despair. It's all faded now, just having you here... feels like I can breathe again." Sirius said softly still holding you right.
“And I’ll stay right here with you, where I’m meant to be, always” you say nuzzling into his neck.
Your breathing became more relaxed as you felt his hair tickle your face, everything felt like how it was meant to be in that moment.
Sirius pulls back slightly and lets out a soft huff, feeling his lips ghost over the skin of your neck, peppering kisses along it. You savor the feeling and let out a small content hum.
"(Y/n)... I need to tell you something. Something I should've said a long time ago. Before everything changed, I regret not saying it before...." he said his voice gruff.
You pull away to meet his gaze, head tilting slightly waiting for him to tell you, feeling his arms tighten around you, the air grew tense.
"I... I love you my sweet girl. I always have. From the first moment we met, I knew... I knew you were special. I just... couldn't admit it. Couldn't allow myself that happiness, that vulnerability, didn’t think I deserved it." He muttered quietly
Your heart leapt through your chest hearing those words, the words you dreamed of hearing ever since you met him, you stayed in his embrace just a little longer not knowing how to get the words out.
“Sirius.. you.. you don’t know how long I’ve been waiting for you to say those words” “I love you, ever since we were at hogwarts, I just couldn’t say anything because I didn’t think you felt the same.” You said your grip on his back tightening as you feel yourself begin to tremble slightly.
“you don’t give yourself as much credit as you deserve dear, only a fool wouldn’t see that.” Sirius lets out small huff as he sees your face full of truth and honesty.
Your expression softens as he admires your (e/c) eyes, he can’t help but let out a smile.
“I never want to let go of you (y/n), never again. I want to be by your side once more.” He said still looking into your eyes, his voice trembling with emotion
You respond by placing a rough needy kiss on his lips, one you should’ve done a long time ago, he pulled you closer deepening the kiss desperately. The kiss was ravishing and hungry yet still filled with love. You feel the desire grow as his hands roam around your body on his lap.
Countless years of pent up longing in such a brief moment.
His hands found their way under your shirt grabbing onto your bare flesh. you shuddered at the rough feeling of his palms, your need growing by the second. You grip his back even tighter wanting more. After what seems like an eternity, Sirius pulls away with a low growl.
“(Y/n).. Merlin I need you badly.. now.. here.” Sirius said panting.
You whimper at the lost warmth, looking up at him with pleasing eyes along with your swollen lips. The way you look sends him into a spiral, pinning you down on the dusty bed.
His lips roughly bit at your neck, desperate to mark you as he should’ve done so long ago. He continued to nip at your neck sucking at the delicate skin as you wince and squirm at the feeling of it. His hands come down to the bottom of your shirt, carelessly pulling it off and tossing it aside, his eyes growing hungry at the sight of your naked top half.
"You're so damn beautiful... How did I ever stay away from you for so long?" He says while his eyes roaming your body
“Sirius.. more please.” You say your breathing becoming shallow. Your hands trail down his tattooed chest, fuck.. you thought to yourself. You desperately wanted more.
Sirius let’s out a small chuckle at your pleas, his mouth met yours again as he obliged, tongue exploring every part of your mouth as his hands has free rein over your entire body. You felt pure bliss he touched you, you pull him close and nipped at his ear
“I need you.. all of you” you said panting in his ear
His lips down trailed your body, stopping and letting down a huff of desire as he reaches the edge of your shorts.
“You have no idea how much I wanted this.. I’ve only imagined it in dream.. may I?” He asks looking up your face
You frantically nod, Sirius laughs at your eagerness
He leans back slightly, his fingers hooking the waistband’s edge along with your panties, taking his time to inch them down your delicate hips. Your body was now fully exposed to him, he groans at the sight of your wet cunt, the sight of you undressed driving him wild.
“(Y/n).. my god.. you’re perfect in every way.” Sirius said his eyes not leaving your sopping pussy for even a second
You stir slightly in embarrassment covering your face instinctively at the thought of being completely bare beneath him
Sirius playfully laughed at your shy gesture and blushed cheeks, he gently tugged at your hands, a feeling of endearment filling him.
"No need to hide, love. You're utterly beautiful. Let me see you... all of you." He said placing a kiss on your lips
You removed your hands, feeling your shyness melt away under his reassurance, his eyes once again returns to roaming over your body, remembering every little detail of it.
"You're a goddamn masterpiece..." he said gruff and full of desire as he ran two fingers down your sopping cunt, making you shudder
He gently positioned himself between your legs, his hands gripping and caressing your thighs, He looked up at you, his gaze radiating heat and love.
"Can I...? I need to taste you... I need to... worship you..." you hear him say
“Sirius please.. I need it” Your legs shake slightly at his words.
His eyes darkened at your words, gaze locked, letting out a low growl as you feel his face not even an inch from your core. You let out a surprised moan as you feel his tongue run up and down your slit spreading them open.
“Sirius fuck!” You say with your back arching slightly at the pleasure
Sirius hums in response , not stopping for even a second as he continues to ravish your pussy, using one hand to gently rub on your clit while using the other to hold you in place.
You continue to wince and moan at his tongue, your face growing redder by the second, you couldn’t help but grab onto his long dark locks for more.
“Sirius more please don’t make m’ wait I’m begging you” you cry out loudly your breathing now heavy
“You want it that bad don’t you doll?” He says looking up from your trembling legs.
You throw your head back against the pillow and continue to spew out pleas and moans. Sirius laughs at your reaction again as he reaches back up to meet your face.
“You’re so beautiful..” he murmured. “Let me make you you feel even better, let me make you mine” he growls
You nod as you brush a strand of hair away from your sweating face. “Make me yours please Sirius.” You say pulling him into another kiss
He groans as you share another passionate kiss with him. He pulls down his boxers, his aching cock hitting right before his navel dripping with need, eventually pulling back to brush against your core before guiding himself to meet your entrance. and my god was he big..
You shudder at the feeling and spread your legs further, he looked up at you for final approval and you gave him a nod.
He pushed himself in slowly watching your face letting out a guttural sound, you moan out at the feeling of being stretched, being stretched by Sirius. You throw your head back at the feeling. He briefly stops to let you adjust to the feeling before pushing more of his throbbing cock into your cunt. His eyebrows furrow at the feeling of you clamping down on his length. Another minute or so goes on and he’s completely sheathed in your heat.
You felt so full.
Your breathing turned into pants and Sirius looks up at you and caresses your face gently, he inches back up to meet your face and places a kiss on your forehead.
“I love you (y/n)” he mutters softly with his eyes full of love and trust
“I love you too Sirius” you whisper back smiling
He holds the back of your knees up and pressed them to your chest as he quickens his pace. Your moans growing even louder. Sirius presses himself on top of you, allowing him to go even deeper inside your core, and you can’t help but yell out in pleasure from being claimed as his. Now balls deeps; he’s completely lost in you as his pace quicks once more. The feeling of his entire cock ravishing your core sends you over the edge wanting even more. Sirius’s pace becomes unforgiving as he pushes your legs down even further.
“Fuck you’re so tight.” he says gritting his teeth
“More Sirius!” You scream out trying to hold onto his neck and he pounds you from underneath, your arms grow weak as you give into the feeling as pleas for more turning into babbling as he gives you what you ask for. The bed creaks loudly under the two of you adding to the intensity of the situation. You continue to moan loudly as you dig your nails into his back. The wet slick sound of your hips slapping against his fueling your need even further. Your mind starts to give out as you feel his cock hitting the tip of your cervix. You look up at Sirius to see his shut eyes with sweat beading on his forehead. His hair falling over his shoulder was a sight to see.
And god was it all you’ve ever wanted and more.
“Don’t fucking stop Sirius” you groan holding him close to you. Your dripping cunt hugging him so well. As if you were meant to take his cock alone. You bite his shoulder to keep yourself from screaming your lungs out, making him moan at the feeling. His grip on your hips tightens; almost bruising as he continues to fuck you hard. You become a drooling mess under him and he loved seeing you come undone all for his touch. His hips rocked against your sopping cunt, as his breathing got even more ragged. You shut your eyes hard as you feel yourself grow closer to your climax.
“Fuck (y/n) I’m getting close” he groans as his thrusts become more sloppy as his breathing becomes more intense.
“Inside Sirius, cum inside please!” You babble loudly feeling myself grow even closer to finishing.
“Fuck doll you’re mine and mine alone” Sirius pants as he buries his face in your neck. You lock your legs around him to feel him ravish your pussy even further. It doesn’t take long for you to finish, a small dribble of drool leaving the corner of your mouth as you moan. A warm feeling fills you as Sirius lets out one final groan as he pushes himself into you as much as you can; his grip on your thighs feral, attempting to cum inside you as deeply as possible. You let out a cry as you feel your own climax come to you. Your legs now loosening their grip around his waist trembling.
Sirius lays on top of you for a while , placing kisses all around your face and neck before he pulls his softening cock out your cunt, letting the evidence of your love drip out slightly. He lets out a content sigh as he pulls away just enough to see your worn out face.
“You alright there doll?” He asks breathing heavily
“Yes surprisingly” you smile at him huffing to catch your breath.
He lets out a tired laugh before placing a soft kiss on your cheek.
“Wish I’ve done that sooner” he says
“Me too Siri” I mutter quietly
He pulls you into an embrace for a while, a much needed break for the both of you. The room is filled with laughs as you continue to catch each other up with minuscule stories. The house that you both cherished no longer feels bleak as the life it needed returns with the company of the two of you.
Just like old times.

to the moon and back
Once upon a time, there was a wizarding family that was powerful and mighty. Nicholas Selwyn was the last of their family, and he and his wife Calliope had yet to have a child—an heir to continue the Selwyn name.
Then a miracle happened: Calliope had finally borne a child. A child born of the Selwyn and Rosier bloodline, the heir for whom they have waited so long. On the summer solstice of 1962, a daughter was born. And she was given the name Y/N, a fitting name for a princess. Families from the Sacred Twenty-Eight came from all around to offer gifts and praise for the little girl.
Among those families were the Blacks. Walburga and Orion Black had two sons. An almost two-year-old Sirius clung to his father's leg, hiding from everyone else. While the almost-one-year-old Regulus was sitting comfortably in his mother's arms.
“Oh, Calliope, you are glowing!” Walburga Black praised the new mother, balancing her son on her hip. Walburga peered over the little girl that was bundled in a pink swaddle in Calliope's arms. “She's a darling!”
“Yes, she is.” Calliope agreed with a wide grin. “The sweetest angel I've ever seen.”
Calliope looked up at the tiny hand that was a few inches away from her daughter's face. Six-month-old Regulus had his tiny hand over the newborn's face, seemingly admiring her.
“It looks like Regulus likes Y/N.” Walburga laughed, beaming at her son. Suddenly, Regulus' smacked Y/N square in the face.
“Regulus Arcturus Black, you do not hit women!” Walburga scolded the boy in her arms, who had no idea what was happening. Meanwhile, the little baby in Calliope's arms was screaming her head off, her face red as her cries echoed in the banquet hall.
Calliope soothed her daughter, an amused smile on her lips as she glanced at the little boy who had just hit her child.
"Oh, hush, Walburga. The boy doesn't know any better; he's just a boy.” Calliope chuckled. “I think he just really likes my daughter.”
“Regulus has great taste, then.”
“Maybe one day they'll fall in love.” Calliope mused, a twinkle in her eye as she looked at the little boy who had his eyes locked on her sleeping daughter. Walburga laughed, shaking her head. “We'll see.”
June 21st, 1968
Selwyn Manor was filled with colourful decorations, bright pink and lavender ribbons, and balloons lining the parlour and hallway. There were beautiful floral arrangements in tall vases, and even pink and purple flowers have been planted in the garden outside.
It was Y/N's sixth birthday, and she was beyond excited. Her mother and father opted not to throw another lavish party, but the house elves insisted on decorating the manor according to their young mistress' desires. Calliope and Nicholas proposed that instead of a party, they would take her on a summer trip to France as a gift for their daughter's birthday.
“Mummy, how do I look?” Y/N asked, twirling around as she modelled the dress in front of her mother. She was wearing a frilly lavender-coloured dress made by Miffy—their house elf—that doted on Y/N far too much.
Calliope beamed proudly at her daughter. “You look enchanting, mon ange.”
The little girl furrowed her eyebrows. “Mon ange? What does that mean, mummy?”
Her mother chuckled. “It means 'my angel' in French, my love. This summer, I'll be teaching you French, alright?”
Y/N nodded eagerly, nearly jumping with excitement at the mention of learning another language. “When are we going? When, when?”
“We'll just wait for your father to finish up at the ministry, my love. After that, we'll go ahead.”
“Okay, okay. Can I go to the garden now, Mummy? I want to play with Miffy.”
Calliope laughed. “Alright, alright. Just don't get messy, okay?”
Y/N nodded before darting out of the room, the little house elf hot on her heels. Calliope shook her head at her daughter amusedly. Her little girl is going to get along quite nicely with the youngest Black son.
“Both of you shall be on your best behaviour for the whole summer in France; do you understand me?” Walburga reminded her sons, her gaze narrowing at her eldest. “Do you understand me?”
Sirius tried his best not to roll his eyes at his mother, but he failed miserably. “You've told us that at least ten times this week, Mother.”
Walburga glared at her eldest, letting out an annoyed sigh before turning to her youngest with a smile. “Do you understand, Regulus?”
The boy nodded, not wanting to get on his mother's bad side, like Sirius always did.
Walburga beamed at her youngest son, patting him on the cheek. “We are to leave eave at six in the evening, after your father gets done with business. You two better be ready to leave before five.” She turned to her eldest, snarling at him before turning and walking away from the young boys.
“Reggie, wanna go play in the garden?” Sirius asked as soon as their mother was out of earshot, a mischievous grin on his face. Sirius was often the troublemaker between the two, always rebelling against their mother's rules. Sirius despised their parents' belief in blood supremacy. It was a load of dung, according to Sirius, who loved watching muggle children play out in the streets in Grimmauld Place.
“But mother said to behave, Sirius.” Regulus hissed at his brother. Regulus hated it when Sirius got in trouble with their mother, usually persuading Sirius to go along with their mother's wishes in order to keep him from getting punished, but his brother was one stubborn git.
“Come on, Reggie,” Sirius urged, wiggling his eyebrows. “It'll be fun! We can pretend to have wands and duel.”
Regulus rolled his eyes at his brother. “If Mother-”
“You're goody-goody with the elf; ask him to zip his mouth.”
Regulus scowled. “That elf has a name, you know.”
Sirius waved a hand dismissively. “Yeah, yeah. So, are you coming or not?” Regulus sighed before giving in and following his older brother outside. As soon as the two boys got outside, Sirius looked around in search of a branch they could use as make-believe wands.
“Aha! Here you go, baby brother, a wand.” Sirius grinned, passing a thin branch to him. Regulus eyed the branch in his hand. “Do all wands look like this?” He asked, his nose scrunching in disgust.
“I dunno, s'pose so,” Sirius shrugged. “Bella's wand looks like a wonky twig, though.” Regulus cringed at the mention of their eldest cousin.
“I don't like Bellatrix.” Regulus muttered.
Sirius chuckled. “Who doesn't? Bella's a bit...mad. Glad we're not spending summer with them this year.”
Regulus smiled at the thought of spending the summer away from London. It was going to be their first time in France, and both boys were ecstatic. They have heard so much about the Black estate in France from their uncle Alphard, who spent all of his summers along with his siblings in the estate. Sirius and Regulus could not believe that their mother was once a happy child, much to Alphard's amusement.
“You think Mother and Father will leave us alone in France?” Regulus asked, fiddling with the stick in his hands.
“They do it every day, Reg.” Sirius rolled his eyes at his younger brother. Walburga Black was not the maternal kind; she had no patience for things related to child care. She decidedly left it all to the house-elves to care for her sons.
“Right,” Regulus cleared his throat, “so are we duelling or not?”
Sirius gripped his wand and waved it around. “Prepare to duel!” He grinned mischievously, aiming the faux wand at his brother. “Jelly legs!”
Regulus pretended his legs had turned to jelly and stumbled around clumsily. Making Sirius burst out into laughter. Regulus quickly turned and pointed his wand at his brother. “Tickles!”
Sirius twitched his nose and looked around himself, pretending that he could feel the invisible tickles. He aimed his stick at his brother again. “Eat slugs!”
Regulus fell to his knees, pretending to vomit on the ground with a smirk. The garden was filled with giggles from the two boys as they duelled each other.
“That was fun!” Regulus laughed, trailing behind his brother as they carefully walked back inside the house.
Sirius turned to look at his brother and grinned triumphantly. “Told you.”
“You two look filthy!” Sirius and Regulus turned around, only to see their mother glowering at them.
“What did I tell you?” Walburga seethed at her sons. Regulus hid behind Sirius, who stood defiantly in front of his mother. “We just went out to the garden, Mother.”
“Kreacher! ” Sirius and Regulus flinched as their mother's shrill voice echoed through the house.
There was a loud popping sound, and the elf appeared next to their mother. “Mistress be wanting Kreacher?”
“Take the boys and make them look presentable. After that, pack their trunks for the summer.” Walburga ordered the elf before yanking Sirius by the arm and pushing him to Kreacher. Regulus whimpered, shifting under his mother's gaze, before walking to his brother's side.
“Keep them in line, Kreacher. We leave at six sharp.”
The elf bowed. “Yes Mistress. All shall be done, oh yes, shall be done.”
“Oh, for Merlin's sake! Hurry up!” Walburga screamed for her children. It was already five forty-five in the evening, fifteen minutes before the Blacks had to leave. She turned to her husband with an annoyed look. “Go get your children.”
Orion let out a loud sigh before turning to walk up the stairs to the boys' room. “Bloody woman, treating me like a dog.” he muttered under his breath.
“What was that!?”
“Nothing, nothing.” Orion quickly ran up, evading his wife's anger.
“Boys, what's taking so long-” Orion opened the door to his sons' room, expecting them to be slacking, only to see Sirius fixing his brother's hair.
“There you go, Reggie!” Sirius declared proudly, handing his little brother a mirror. “You look good, if I do say so myself.”
Regulus took the mirror and looked at himself. His curls were slightly slicked back, with a few tendrils hanging loose and framing his face perfectly. Regulus grinned, passing back the mirror to his brother. “You should do my hair often, Sirius.”
Orion smiled at the sight of his sons. He never had that kind of bond with his own brother. He opened the door and stepped inside, the smile gone from his lips.
Orion cleared his throat, making both boys jump. “Boys, come on. Your mother's waiting downstairs, and you know she's not fond of waiting.”
“Yes, father.” Sirius turned to Regulus, taking his hand in his. “Come on, Reg, summer awaits!” All three of the Black men descended down the stairs. Walburga scowled at the sight of her oldest son's hair.
“I said to look presentable, Sirius.”
Sirius smirked, running a hand through his black mane. “I am presentable, Mother."
“You little-” Walburga raised her hand to strike her son when her husband cut her off.
“Just get in the fireplace, Sirius, Regulus,” Orion sighed, shaking his head. When they didn't move, he lightly pushed his eldest. “Now!”
Both boys scrambled to the dusty old fireplace, Regulus gripping the ends of his brother's robes. Sirius had a grin plastered on his lips, provoking his mother further.
“Get a handful of floo powder, Sirius,” Orion ordered. Sirius turned to the pot of black powder on the side of the wall, taking a handful of it in his small hands.
“Now you must say this clearly; otherwise, you and your brother would get transported to the wrong place. Black Manor, Dinard, loud and clear, Sirius.” The seven-year-old boy nodded, clearing his throat before loudly speaking.
“Black Manor, Dinard!”
Green flames engulfed the two brothers as they were transported into a beautiful sitting room. The smell of wood and spice immediately invaded their nostrils as soon as the two boys stepped out of the fireplace. Sirius and Regulus were awestrucked. The manor in France was far better than Grimmauld Place.
It was a sight to behold. It had a grandiose feeling, as if it had been lifted straight from the pages of an old French novel.
The walls of the elegant room were a deep forest green, the shade of which had been carefully matched to the hue of the lush gardens outside. In the centre of the room was the focal point, a large emerald green velvet sofa that seemed to invite anyone to sink into its depths. On either side of the sofa were two matching armchairs, upholstered in the same emerald velvet. The cushioning was studded with silver buttons that shone when the sunlight hit them, and the legs were carved from dazzling marble. Behind the sofa, the walls were lined with large, dark wood bookcases and cabinets filled with fine silver trinkets and antique books. An old-style grandfather clock was tucked away in the corner, counting down the minutes with its sombre ticking. Rich tapestries hung from the walls, and Persian rugs covered the floor.
For illumination, several grand candelabras rested on the tables and were held aloft by marble pillars, which were intricately carved with rococo details. Each candelabra was adorned with five burning white candles that cast a soft, golden glow over the room.
A grand piano sat in the corner by the arched window, while a gleaming bronze chandelier hung above it. There were gilded mirrors on the walls with silver frames that gave the room an extra sparkle. There were huge windows around the room, with rich green velvet curtains in a silver pattern parted in the middle to let light in.
A place of true elegance and sophistication. It was as if every detail was chosen with care, from the luxurious green and silver brocade that draped the walls to the gleaming marble floors and the grand mahogany-framed clock overlooking the room.
The flames roared again, revealing their parents. Walburga stepped out and immediately screamed for a house elf.
With a loud pop, a small elf appeared. It looked better than what Kreacher looked like. The elf wore a tea towel around its waist and a huge green ribbon atop its head.
“Mistress be needing Dilly?”
Walburga turned to her sons. “These are my sons, your young masters. They will be spending the whole summer here. I trust that my sons will be taken care of.”
“Dilly will take very good care of her young Masters; yes, she will. Only the best for the heir of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black.”
Walburga nodded curtly before turning her attention to her sons. “You both shall be on your best behaviour for the whole of summer. Do you understand? If word gets out to me that you two show anything less of what I have taught you, there will be consequences.”
Regulus visibly gulped, shifting under his mother's gaze. “Yes, mother.”
Sirius looked unaffected by their mother's gaze. “Yeah, yeah, behave and all that.”
Suddenly, the fireplaces erupted into green flames once more. Out stepped a little girl with long (y/h/c) hair tied in pigtails and bright (y/e/c) eyes dressed in a frilly lavender-coloured dress. She was clutching a white-stuffed bunny in her arms as she looked around.
“Greetings, little one.” Orion greeted the little girl, who gave him a small, shy smile. Y/N fiddled with her hair as she stood by the fireplace, waiting for her parents. A little while later, the flames erupted again, revealing Nicholas and Calliope Selwyn. Y/N quickly hid behind her mother, clutching the skirt of her robes.
“Walburga, Orion, it's been so long,” Calliope greeted, taking a step closer to the Black matriarch, leaning in for a hug.
Y/N eyed the older woman curiously. She had aristocratic features, high cheekbones, and full lips, making her look regal and elegant as she stood. The little girl tugged on her mother's skirt. “Mummy!” she whispered fiercely, tugging on her mother's skirt harder. Calliope pulled away from the raven-haired witch with a chuckle as she looked down at her daughter.
Regulus looked at Y/N with an unamused look, scrunching his nose in annoyance. “She looks like a spoiled brat.” he whispered to Sirius, who nodded in agreement.
Walburga smiled down at the little girl, which shocked Sirius and Regulus. “You must be Y/N.”
Y/N raised an eyebrow at the older woman. She looks scary, Y/N thought before promptly hiding behind her mother's back.
Walburga chuckled. “She's a bit shy, I see.”
Calliope laughed. “Oh no, my daughter is anything but shy.” Her gaze then fell onto the two boys huddled in the corner.
“Sirius, Regulus, come forward and introduce yourselves,” Orion instructed. Both boys stepped forward, standing tall and proud.
“Sirius Orion Black, the third at your service.” Sirius grinned proudly before bowing, his long hair falling over his face.
Calliope laughed at the young boy's enthusiasm. “You've gotten bigger since the last time I've seen you, young Sirius.”
“My name's Regulus, Regulus Arcturus Black.” Regulus smirked proudly, bowing like his brother.
“My, my, such well-mannered boys.” Calliope praised.
Walburga beamed proudly. “I taught them well.”
Sirius snorted, making Regulus chuckle. Their mother did not teach them anything because she threatened them if they did not comply with all her rules.
"Y/N, darling, introduce yourself to Mr. and Mrs. Black, my love."
“No.” Y/N huffed behind her mother.
“Come on, darling. Introduce yourself; tell them how you love dressing up.” Nicholas chuckled, nudging his daughter from behind his wife. Y/N reluctantly stepped out, a scowl etched on her lips. “Y/N Artemis Rosier Selwyn.” She introduced herself with a curtsy.
“Sirius, Regulus, go ahead and kiss Y/N's hand like a true gentleman.” Walburga urged, pushing Sirius slightly.
Sirius grinned mischievously as he took Y/N's hand and softly placed a kiss on her knuckles. “I am pleased to meet you, my fair maiden.”
“Likewise.” Y/N gave him a small smile.
Regulus rolled his eyes at Y/N. She looked like a girly girl. And he hated those kinds of girls. His cousins Narcissa and Andromeda were like that, and it wasn't fun. The two older girls would always drag him and his brother into whatever they pleased. And it annoyed Regulus more than it annoyed Sirius.
“Go on, Regulus,” Walburga urged her youngest son, who scowled.
“Hello, Y/N. I'm very pleased to meet you,” Regulus said, his tone annoyed.
“Pleased to meet you, Regulus.” Y/N curtsied. Regulus walked back to Sirius, only to be stopped by his mother. “Ah, ah, ah!” She urged her son, pushing him to kiss Y/N's hand.
Y/N raised an eyebrow as Regulus' face contorted in disgust. He looks conceited, and Y/N wanted to punch him in the face just because of it. Regulus reluctantly took her hand, scrunching his nose in disgust before kissing her hand as quickly as he could.
“So happy you could come.” Regulus sneered.
“So happy to be here.” Y/N said with a sickening sweet voice, rolling her eyes at the boy.
“She's a darling, Calliope. Such a fine young lady!” Walburga complimented the little girl with a smile.
“Yes, she is.” Calliope chuckled, beaming at her daughter.
“But don't let that innocent face fool you. She has the famous Rosier temper.” Nicholas laughed.
“Ah yes, the famous Rosier temper.” Orion agreed. “I do believe we all know what that temper is capable of.”
“Ah, so you've been a victim of it?” Calliope asked with a smirk.
“Cygnus' wife, Druella.” Orion laughed. “Let's just say that I couldn't utter a word for a week.”
All the adults burst out laughing, leaving the children confused. Regulus perked up at the mention of his aunt Druella, whom he liked the most because she gave him the most sweets.
“I remember that! Drue was absolutely furious that you called her fat once when she was pregnant with her first.” Walburga snorted, almost forgetting about her manners.
“Mummy, can I go play?” Y/N asked, interrupting the adults' laughter.
Calliope looked down at her daughter. “Why don't you ask Mrs. Black, mon ange?”
Y/N scowled, much to her father's amusement. She then reluctantly turned to Walburga, with a pleading look in her big, bright eyes—a look her father knew so well.
“Can I please go and play, Mrs. Black?” Y/N asked, her voice sweet and innocent.
Walburga chuckled. “Yes, my dear. After all, the manor will be your home for the summer. Go ahead and play in the garden with Sirius and Regulus while your parents and I catch up.”
“Thank you!” Y/N grinned before running out to the garden.
Sirius chuckled while Regulus groaned. “What a total bummer.” He couldn't believe he was going to be stuck with her all summer long. Regulus was sure she didn't like anything that he and Sirius liked to do, like quidditch or playing in the dirt. She looked so stuck up, and it made Regulus want to run away from her. He'd rather get chicken pox than be in the same room with her.
Walburga cocked an eyebrow at her sons, telling them to go and follow Y/N. Sirius ran outside to the garden with Regulus hot on his heels. The boys spotted Y/N sitting on the grass as she looked up at the starry sky.
“Whatcha lookin' at?” Sirius asked as he sat beside Y/N.
“What do you think I'm looking at?” Y/N said sarcastically, not batting an eye at the two boys who were beside her.
“Ouch, venomous.” Sirius grinned, scooting closer to Y/N. “You looking at the stars? Looking for me, huh?”
Y/N rolled her eyes at the older boy beside her. Her eyes then landed on Regulus, who had his lips curled into a scowl, as if it were normal.
“What are you scowling at?” Y/N snapped at Regulus.
“Nothing,” Regulus sneered, turning his gaze away from Y/N. He couldn't stand her; just looking at her made him want to vomit. Y/N rolled her eyes, wanting so badly to just run away and never come back.
“Your brother's a git.” Y/N whispered in Sirius' ear.
“He'll grow on you.” Sirius promised with a smirk.
“Regulus looks conceited.”
Regulus' ears perked up at the mention of his name. He was conceited!? How dare she!?
“What did you say?” Regulus snapped, stepping closer to Y/N.
Y/N smirked. “You heard me.” She then turned back to face the stars.
Regulus huffed, his annoyance towards the girl turning into anger. He walked up to the flower beds and scooped up a handful of mud before walking back to Y/N and Sirius.
“Oi, Y/N!” Regulus yelled. As soon as she turned around, Regulus threw the clump of mud at the younger girl.
“My dress!” Y/N shrieked as mud splattered across her face and dress. She tried to wipe it off, but it was of no use. She glared at Regulus, who was smirking. Y/N balled her hands, clenching them into tight fists before storming up to Regulus and punching him square in the nose. Regulus stumbled back as he clutched his bleeding nose.
“You git!” Y/N screamed angrily as she tried to land a punch again. Regulus then pushed Y/N into a nearby bush. “I hate you! I hate you to the moon and back!” Y/N screamed at him, standing up and running back inside the house.
Sirius and Regulus burst out in a fit of giggles. That girl is certainly a spoiled brat.
“Mummy! Mummy! He threw mud at me!” Y/N shrieked as she approached her mother from the Black's back garden. Her dress was covered in mud, her pigtails were dishevelled, and she had twigs and leaves stuck in her hair. “Mummy! Regulus threw mud at me!” Y/N yelled again, tears forming in her big, bright eyes.
Meanwhile, the boy in question was snickering from behind the large oak door.
“The little spoiled princess got what she deserved.” Regulus grinned triumphantly at his older brother, who was trying his best not to burst out laughing at the sight of little Y/N Selwyn, stomping her foot at her mother and father, demanding that they do something about Regulus' behaviour towards her.
This was not her idea of fun.

I have an idea! Imagine reader and james are bestfriend, reader ask james to help her find a lingerie (bcs she want to impress a boy she like) so there he is sitting infront of the changing room and having to watch the reader change into multiple lingerie w a hard on.
Maybe then he realize that he doesn’t want anyone to see his bestf like this?
I love a possessive jamie!
Thanks for requesting!
cw: sexual implications, nothing explicit though
bestfriend!James x fem!reader ♡ 472 words
“It was fucking awful,” James laments, nursing a cup of tea and shoving biscuit after biscuit into his mouth. He’s at Remus and Sirius’ flat, after inventing some plans with his friends as an excuse to get away from you. “I had to think of my gran wearing that stuff just to be able to stand up when she was ready to leave.”
“I still don’t understand why you agreed to go in the first place,” Remus says while Sirius tries to get his giggling under control. “Why would you help the woman you’re in love with pick out lingerie for another guy?”
“I’m not in love with her!” James throws up his hands, sick of having this same argument every time you come up. “I mean, I do love her—she’s my best friend. But I mean, you could put me in front of any attractive girl when she’s wearing something like that, and I’m bound to have some thoughts. It didn’t matter that it was her, specifically. It was…it was boobs. It’s boobs’ fault.”
Sirius cackles, and James lobs a biscuit at him.
“I’d like to see you try to keep yourself under control in that situation, Pads. It’s biology, I couldn’t help it!”
“Oh, I know the feeling.” Sirius grins, reclining back against Remus’ chest. “Seems like exactly how I felt when I found out Moony here had made out with half of Gryffindor.”
Remus rolls his eyes, as sick of this joke as James is of the ones about you. Still, he wraps a hand around Sirius’ thigh in solidarity.
“It’s different,” James grumbles. “That was…well, that was you two.”
“He makes a good point,” Remus says, and Sirius tilts his head back to beam up at his boyfriend proudly. “We both know what it feels like to think you love someone as a friend when it’s really something more.”
James glowers. “She was in a black. Lacy. Set. I am not made of stone!”
Remus only hums, sipping at his tea. “If it was your gran, you wouldn’t think the same.”
James shudders. “Why would you remind me of that?”
“So what’s next?” Sirius asks, raising a brow. “Do you want us to go sabotage her date with this bloke? Or better yet, lock her in her house so she can’t meet up with him at all?”
“I’m glad you’re on board,” James says, recovering from his disgust and beginning to look rather satisfied as he munches on another biscuit. “I’m thinking we hex him to be horrifically ugly. She won’t think of showing him her little outfit if he shows up and he’s got a face made entirely of warts.”
Remus and Sirius exchange a look. With a sigh, Remus begins stroking his hand up and down his boyfriend’s thigh consolingly.
“He’ll get it eventually,” he says.

You pant slightly as you shut the door behind you, and for Sirius's benefit, you lean back against it and heave a dramatic sigh.
"Got it," You gush, holding up the bag in your hands with a cheshire cat grin, "Your fans are intense."
"What- darling, what is that?" Sirius frowns at the record store bag in your hands, tossing his phone to the side where he'd been scrolling through twitter.
"Your new album," You gloat, pulling the shrinkwrapped vinyl out of the plastic bag, "I had to elbow a teenage boy out of the way," You admit, "But I think I deserved it more."
"Baby," Sirius laughs, a pitying sound, "I could have gotten you one. You didn't have to do that, have you forgotten I'm with the band?"
"But I wanted the real fan experience," You gush, snatching a sharpie off of the table and kneeling on the couch beside him, staring up at him with pleading eyes, "Will you sign it, Siri?"
He lets out a raucous bark of laughter, plucking the sharpie from your hands, "Sure, darling. I'll sign it for you."
He gets busy with the sharpie, scribbling this way and that, scrawling his signature along with a note. When he presents it proudly back to you, and your eyes rove over the striking black ink, 'I love you', your eyes fill with stinging tears.
"I love you too, Siri." You gush, leaning over the album to ring your arms around his neck.
"M'biggest fan," He croons, kissing your earlobe after he's murmured into it, "The songs on there were f'you, y'know?"
