Headcanon that the Royal Family of Arendelle has a history of belting out songs late at night (because Iduna would absolutely be down for that) and it was considered something akin to a beloved tradition where the entire kingdom would stay up late to hear their queen's beautiful voice, singing them to sleep.

Then when Iduna died it was nothing but silence in the evenings, leading to almost a decade of restless nights.

When Elsa took the throne, people were still wary... until the evening songs returned, and the Kingdom of Arendelle knew everything was going to be okay.

(When Elsa departed to the North, everyone was really proud and supportive of Anna, who is very obviously not a naturally talented singer, for doing her best to carry on the tradition anyway. She gets better with time.)

Early 2020:

This two-part (originally 4-part, but was scraped off) fanart was amongst the first ever Jelsa pieces I've drawn. These two are very dear to me and I'm still proud of the results!!!

Mid 2022:

Just a simple angst/ post-angst comfort drawing because I was at my freaking lowest at that time and was not in the best state of mind. Another intimate piece, but I wanted to share this because I want you to know that when you're not feeling well, just do what you're a bit passionate about. Put as much effort as you could, just to soothen your state and neutralize any harmful thoughts.

Mid 2023:

I decided to not draw them again somehow, after I drew the post-angst comfort piece. I was just so moved by that, I felt terrified that such an act HELPED me. That's why there was a massive break of a year in between. Also I was studying my intermediate (11-12 std) so yeah, much intimidating times. But back in the glorious year of 2023 when I got a 4-month break before getting into college, I needed time to recover and deciding to draw them again was the best thing I did!!!!

Swan lake (wlw):

Just wanted to practice sketching with pen and got carried away ;D. Also fell in love with the movies Black Swan (2010) and Ètoile (1989) at that time, so you kinda get the influence. Here, Jack is the princess (originally the ballet has the prince), and Elsa is Odette, the white swan. I felt the same hit of nausea during the second semester of getting used to college and these two films and Jelsa helped me cope.

Ah yes!!! My second post on tumblr of my first account before it got axed. My first ever follower of that account was @therentyoupay, and I remember how I squealed in the college hallway when I got the notification!!! Kris and I chatted a bit about our shared love for mermaids and so many kind people liked this one so I'm so thankful to all of you!!!

I'll post more about this AU when I can, but for now, let's just say, the roles are reversed and Jack is a calm wizard and Elsa is wild Warrior, nothing else changes much, also size difference is present most of the time, just saying. And to provide more context for the piece, Elsa wants to turn human sized to be effective for combat and goes to Jack to seek help. In this piece, Jack is examining the growth of her body, and this is not a fast transformation, rather a progressive, delicate procedure. His assistants (the smoky, eye-hands) are the ones who extremely come in handy (iykyk).

I remember one of the first things I did when Supriya aged up into a teen was to have her take selfies. Because not only is that someting a pride generation heir would do, but at the time I also thought she was one of the prettiest teens in my game ever.

Februari

I decided to fully furnish and decorate an apartment for Supriya to live in and I think this is when I realized that I'm 100% a maximalist when it comes to interior design.

Ah, the night of the gala where Supriya and Rohan finally let their walls down 😊. I based the the outfits and the location of the gala (before they got back to Supriya's apartment) on the gala scene from the movie Maid in Manhattan which was a movie I really liked as a kid and for some reason that gala scene imprinted itself in my brain.

I love a good sunset. But what I love more is Rohan and Supriya getting engaged in front of a good sunset. The couple moved to Brindleton Bay where they fell even more in love with each other, and I fell in love with the Brindleton Bay heatwaves (when it doesn't rain that is). Rohan and Supriya eventually got married and it was my first cultural in-game wedding and, you guessed it, I loved it.

A pregnancy photoshoot with Supriya and Rohan in that little park with the blossom trees in Lykke Centre, Windenburg. The other screenshot is a screenshot with Cedia as a siren that I never posted in the Halloween post of last year, so I decided to make another post this year with the screenshots I also loved and that didn't make the cut back then.

I was still experimenting with my decorating skills and I had a lot of fun decorating the kids' playroom and Gulshan's bedroom when they were little.

July

I did an "end-of-generation" photoshoot with Supriya and also made one of my oc's, Fawzia, for Thebramblewood's vampire casting call who until then had only existed in my head. And for my legacy I wanted to try something different with the lighting in the screenshots where Gulshan and his friends are partying and I really liked how it turned out.

Gulshan got his restaurant and I love everything about it. I started building this restaurant when I started the 7 sins legacy and I was so excited when I could finally play in it.

I took this screenshot after Gulshan earned 4 stars for his restaurant. I posed everyone except for Lord Hamlet. He just walked past and it turned out perfect for this screenshot. Did I mention Lord Hamlet already? BECAUSE LOOK AT HIM! At first I wasn't sure how a pig who is actually a dog would work out in game, but he is my favorite in-game pet ever and I love him so much. The last screenshot I made to showcase the Poppy cas set by Surely-sims and Ice-creamforbreakfast and all the screenshots for this are some of my favorite lookbook screenshots ever.

Hmmmmm, I can try. Hopefully, I meet you're standers! Also, I haven't seen the My Little Pony series for like....3 years now? So I'm sorry for this seeming weird or off character.

Twilight Sparkle X Alicorn Reader

Twilight: "you're highness! We came has fast as we could! What's going on?"

Twilight and her friends were called to canterlot. Princess Celestia called for their help. When they arrived, Princess luna and Princess Cadance were also there.

Celestia: "Thank you for coming. All of you, we are having a problem. Over in the west of equestria, a massive blizzard formed. Non of the Pegasus pony's can get rid of the clouds without freezing and falling out of the sky."

Twilight: "do we know how this formed?"

Luna: "Sadly no, but we need you 6 to go there. We have a feeling this is probably the Sirens."

Twilight: "But dident they get defeated in the other world?"

Cadance: "That's what we hoped, so since you said they were. So we need you 6 to go there and see what's happening."

Celestia: "Please, equestria, realize on you 6. If the snow spreads, all the farms of equestria will be destroyed, and we will go in a great fame."

Twilight: "You can count on us! Let's go, girls!"

And with that, twilight and her friends run out of canterlot and head to the mountains in the west. When they got near the mountains, they immediately saw frozen ice spikes at the bade of the mountain. Whatever was here did not want anyone to near it.

So, with their combined strength, they go through the harsh weather.

Twilight was so first. She used her magic to telaport the group as high as she could and formed a bubble around them to make sure they do not get blown away.

Raity was next. She used her crafting skills to make clothes for the girls they do not freeze.

Applejack and pinkipie was next. AppleJack used her strength to kick ice spikes down or cause avalanche to clear a path. Pinkipie used her instruments to help applejack.

Raindowdash and fluttershy were next. They used their flight ability to try and destroy as much of the clouds as possible.

When the main 6 reached the top of the mountain, they were met with large calm winds and light snow falls. They were above the snow clouds.

But that is not what surprised them. Ontop of that mountain was a castle made of ice. When the main 6 approach the castle, they see no pony was there. No gaurds, no watchers, no nothing.

So, they knocked and gently entered the castle. When they got a good look inside of the castle, they were amazed. That was intel they heard a booming voice.

(Y/N): "WHO ARE YOU! HOW DARE YOU TRUSPASS!"

The main 6 look up and see an Alicorn that is as tall as Celestia.

They look at them in awe, but twilight snaps out of and steps forward.

Twilight: "Please, we did not come for trouble! We came to ask of you to get rid of the storm. It's spreading and could destory our farm lands."

(Y/N): "...storm?"

Twilight: "Yes, there is a snowstorm below this castle and it's spreading. Making everything frozen."

(Y/N): "...I see...then I shall, but you will leave after."

Twilight: "Wait! Who are you! The only Alicorns in equestria is me, princess luna, Celestia, and Cadance."

(Y/N): "I am a Alicorn who is wanting to stay hidden. You will leave and tell no one!"

Their booming voice shakes the castle, and the main 6 take a step back. They watch how the Alicorn gathers magic in her horn before releasing it. It goes past the main 6 and down the mountain. Making the storm clouds disappear.

Before the main 6 could say thank you or ask more question, they were suddenly attacked by a silent wind and now were standing at the bottom of the mountain.

They returned to cannterlot and told the Princesses everything. Soon, starworld the bearded arrived and heard what Twilight had to say.

Starworld: "I know who you speak of. That was (Y/N). The very first Alicorn to control one of the season elements. They are powerful. They seem to be alive."

He explains to them who they are and tells them to not go find her. Since she was known for using her magic on others when she was scared.

Dosent stop twilight, though. She was determined.

for the red carpet, chaea chose the sky split dress from aniye records ss25 collection. aniye records is one of the brands that chaea wears the most—frequently wearing their pieces during concerts, music show stages, and album jacket shoots. though this look is a little more tame than some of chaea's previous looks, it's still daring and dramatic—a thigh-high slit that teases and intrigues, with delicate ties on the sides revealing a daring amount of skin. the dress was paired with the satin sandals with fusible rhinestones from dolce & gabbana and the dion glove coat and tina choker from the same aniye records collection.

her make-up was kept somewhat simple, compared to the bold red lip she typically sports. smokey silver shadow with a little undereye sparkle, rosy cheeks, and a natural pink lip.

for her performance, chaea wore the elsa mini dress from aniye records ss25 collection. since the performance is supposed to be intimate, chaea opted for a more subdued look—choosing the elsa mini dress for its intentionally imperfect look. the worn-in knit is somewhat see-through, and the striking cutout in the back reveals bare skin. she paired the dress with the inna socks, from the same collection, and the leather cardinale pumps from dolce & gabbana. she kept the jewelry simple—chaea's said in the past that her collarbones are one of her best accessories, and likes to show them off when wearing one-shoulder dresses and tops. for earrings, she wore the easy diamond cross earrings, also from dolce & gabbana.

"So, through various iterations and some wild costume changes, what makes Mystique Mystique? Where other X-Men villains exhibit more traditionally masculine bad guy traits; anger, arrogance, and from a power standpoint, they tended to be more strenght-focused or exerting control over stuff focused, Mystique exhibits a roster of historically feminine evils, and her entire run with the X-Men and their periphery, when she's not an outright villain, includes being a double agent, joining the X-Men, betraying the X-Men, and using her sexuality as a weapon A LOT. Being duplicitous as a feminine archetype is as old as the written word. Many western mithologies present feature feminine figures that present themselves as one thing, usually to lure men into a false sense of security, only to eventually spell their doom. The sirens lured sailors to their deaths. Delilah seduced (and then metaphorically castrated) Samson, and Mystique's power is to present herself as one thing while always having a secret ulterior motive. Female science-fiction characters written in the 1970s by male writers were an interesting bag, because there was a lot of anxiety about this whole "nascent women's lib" thing. Even her name "Mystique" harkens to Mystique (coma) the Feminine, a book which completely changed the way America Women saw themselves. So it's fitting that she first appears in Ms. Marvel's original series as she is the embodiment of the 70s Wonder Woman youve-come-a-long-way-baby attitude, and all of this background, to be honest, is what allows her to be interesting. Mystique is all of these "fear of female sexuality" archetypes packaged into one character, who still managed to be one of the most interesting and textured and nuanced of all the X-Men characters. And like most X-villains, she's only, you know, sometimes a villain. She joins the X-Men, then unjoins then, and tries to seduce her daughter's boyfriend so she can break then up and set up Rogue with someone else, you know, the usual. She eventually betrays the X-Men, of course, but only sort of. And then eventually gets killed. But don't worry she gets better. At one point she is even Professor X's indentured servant in her own limited series called Mystique written by Brian K Vaughn, which is kind of James Bond inspired and, yep, once again she's a Double Agent. So because this always needs to be pointed out, apparently, having a character's basis in mysoginist archetypes as old as time is not necessarily a bad thing as long as those archetypes don't go unexamined. But it is a thing.

If there is a character who that can handle an increasingly wide swath of character traits, it's Mystique.

And it's interesting to think that a somewhat minor character was in the running to eventually get her own Wolverine-style-probably-not-very good X-Men-spin-off.

But I think it also speaks to how there is more of a demand for complex femme fatales nowadays. That's why we've got sympathetic Maleficent, Elsa the misunderstood Ice Queen, the Wicked Witch was an animal lover the whole time, and Mystique, once such a confident hard ass, is now wrapped with conflict and insecurity. But I think it works either way. We don't need to necessarily choose. She is, after all, a shape-shifter!"
