People of Ashlesha Nakshatra often display a profound sense of attachment to things they love, forming strong emotional bonds that influence their interactions and relationships. This intrinsic need for connection can lead to behaviors that may seem overprotective or controlling. Ashlesha natives seek to safeguard their emotional ties, which may be rooted in past experiences of loss or abandonment.
Consequently, Ashlesha natives may respond defensively in situations that threaten these connections, resulting in feelings of insecurity and anxiety. While stemming from genuine concern, their protective instincts can sometimes lead to misunderstandings or conflicts with those around them.
The emotional intensity typical of Ashlesha Nakshatra individuals can occasionally drive them to exhibit aggressive or unkind behavior when they feel their attachments are at risk. This tendency often arises not from a desire to harm others, but from a fear of loss that urges them to defend their relationships or material attachments at all costs. Such reactions can alienate others, making it difficult for the Ashlesha individual and their loved ones to navigate the complexities of their emotional dynamics.

The primordial horror of Ashlesha🐍
And a timeless tale
You might have heard that in vedic posts on the internet Bharani and Ashlesha are almost always talked about when topics of femininity, mother nature, primordial feminine, female passivity, raw sexuality and feminine harshness (in any sense) are being discussed. And for good reason too. Bharani and Ashlesha_ two mleccha nakshatras associated with feminine planets (Bharani's nakshatra lord Venus and Ashlesha's rashi lord Moon) and saturated with feminine symbolism, are both connected to primordial, raw, pure power of passive femininity.
I'm going to explore Ashlesha's role in this in a less sexual and more internal context.
Do recommend this for Jyeshtas, Revatis, Bharanis and Punarvasus too, as the themes are going to be familiar to all of these, in different ways.
The medicine and the poison, the monster and the pure angel
To start with, Ashlesha's main symbol_ the coiled serpent, already spells danger. Something is reaching its critical point and cannot be contained, for better or for worse.
Ashlesha's power is vishashleshana shakti ("Vish" means poison, "ashlesha" means control). Ashlesha, having the power to control its energy, power and reactions, learns how to be immune to things, out of necessity.
In a way, Ashlesha's power is to simply have power over things, but that exchange of energy between you and the thing/person you're controlling can be dangerous.
4th house and the sign of Cancer deal with the spiritual/mental/emotional safety of the person, 4th house sitting at the bottom of the zodiac wheel. Being a water sign and ruled by the Moon, it is related to extreme vulnerability and energy flow. Moon is dependancy. Ashlesha's nakshatra lord_ Mercury, is the nervous system. Ashlesha is the very force that binds and connects your emotions to your nerves and their sensations.
Sidenote: Ashlesha is about nourishing(Moon's sign) the nerves(Mercury ruled), Hasta is about controlling(Mercury's sign) the nourishment(Moon ruled).
Those reptilian instincts, that primal awareness and animalistic conciousness that Ashlesha leaves you with are as vulnerable as they are scary. To the person themselves, they have been stripped bare of their defences, and no matter how hard they try to find a way to be safe, it feels like the only safety is in no defence. Building or cultivating defence is not natural to the pure, passive Ashlesha. It requires some kind of action, and any action, in its essence, requires the disregard of absolute receptivity_ the state in which Ashlesha is naturally in (Bharani too, by the way).
Ashlesha is about not lying to yourself about your weaknesses, it's about knowing how vulnerable you really are. In a way, it's also about testing the limits of pain to know how much you can hurt, how much of that pain you really feel and have been repressing, how much of it you can handle. It's about settling in your nature and slowly gaining strength, so that your weaknesses are not really weaknesses, but just parts of you that have not yet reached their full potential. It's not a place of excess, but a place of economy and necessities.
From the viewpoint of the feminine, it's their natural place_ the watery, sensitive, impressionable, pure force. But it does not want to stay in that one place. It's known that still water is dangerous, it's been associated with all kinds of unpleasant things. Being in the state of Ashlesha is like that_ it's like the water that has nowhere else to go and wants to flow (release) with any opportunity to do so, but there's danger there too.
For the feminine in that state, there is danger in staying and there is danger in going.
There is a lot of concern for purity because it recognizes that it needs to move on but it absolutely cannot do so without doing it correctly, or the purpose will be defeated and all the work will be wasted.
Some hate medicine, some favor all kinds of vaccinations. Ashlesha needs to build immunity but it's also paramount for it to feel everything with as little interference as possible, preferably none at all. Purity has to be radical.
So, there is struggle and patience built into them. But whatever they do, in the end, their strength, their energy, their power is growing towards a critical point. It's like if you take a sensation from one part of the body to the other or if water goes from one end of the vessel toward the other_ it's still there, the only temporary relief might be moving that energy inside you, waiting more and more impatiently towards that perfect opportunity to release.
So we go back to the start_ the coiled serpent, the dangerous force, the deep need.
In terms of sexual energy, the feminine is both intensely desirous and incredibly cautious. The need/desire of Ashlesha to move on to the next stage while waiting indefinitely to do so because of safety concerns can be interpreted as the desire/need for sexual experience, and the fear of abuse/not being pure anymore. The theme of the complete passivity is intertwined with this nakshatra, as if the origin and rules that were set in Bharani demand to be fulfilled.
The law of nature and the passive feminine are restrictive and suffocating to masculine, active forces. If the feminine does not settle and gain power through her natural passivity (flow, receptivity, being as opposed to doing), then she's at the risk of being annihilated.
The result of Ashlesha nakshatra: "destruction of the victim"
No mention of who the victim is. The point is, that in Ashlesha, a place of dependancy, attachment and control, where everyone is either the abuser or the abused, there is no place for mercy. The stronger one wins.
This is the game of subtelty and ruthlessness_ trying to gain some sense of humanity after feeling like a dangerous, vulnerable animal_ a monster that wants to take, because it's an innocent creature that has little.
But no matter how much you wait, how much you gain, it's all going to turn to poison, unless you can dare to oppose.
To break the chain_ it's a risk, but what else is there to do when safety becomes a cage?
But the smart, calculative Ashlesha knows the dangers, it just waits for when it's strong enough to attack, it waits until it knows every medicine and poison, until it hurts so much that it does not hurt anymore, so that when it faces the enemy, the victim will no longer be a victim, but an opponent, who has been hiding its strength under the covers of fragility, who uses what others called a weakness to strike. Until the poison is medicine and the tears are poison, it waits. But when the milk turns sour and the gentle touch suffocates, it's ready to go.
The tale of Snow White
🍎🪞
Crediting Claire Nakti for mentioning this association in her Ashlesha video
Snow White's story is a great example of how Ashlesha's energies play out.
I'm not going to go into too much detail of why it's related to Ashlesha, as I think it's going to be obvious as I go on, but the key associations are: the pure young woman (reinforced by the symbolism and imagery that her name evokes), the controlling feminine authority, danger, poison, power struggles.
I love the 2012 film "Mirror Mirror", because it does not hesitate to show the power struggle between Snow White and the evil queen. The struggle is depicted mostly through metaphors and/or symbolism in the original tale.
Tumblr media
It'd be great to mention that Snow White's tale is said to be based on actual real life women. The first_ Margaretha von Waldeck who lived in the 16th century Germany, died young and as evidence by her last letter suggests (her handwiting indicated that her hand was shaking), she died by being poisoned, and it was also known that her stepmother was jealous of her. She also lived in a town where children had to work in the mines (inspiring the seven dwarves).
In "Mirror Mirror" Snow White is played by Ashlesha moon 🐈‍⬛ Lily Collins, and Evil Queen is played by Magha moon 🐀 Julia Roberts.
There is tiny chance that Lily is Pushya moon but that would only be true if she was born before one in the night, so I'd say she's Ashlesha, especially after observing her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The beginning of the movie: the queen is sitting on her lavish golden throne (Magha's symbol), dressed in an equally lavish golden dress (Sun's color), positioned above Snow White, who is forced to kneel before her. The Queen is weaving her insults and humiliations into her words that seem genuinely caring at first, even Snow White falls for it in the beginning. That's how the feminine repression and bullying works in Ashlesha_ it's all the more powerful because it's gradual and seems non-threatening, especially to masculine people.
As always, the villain and the hero are determined by which nakshatra is the focus of the story. In this case, from Ashlesha's perspective, the its enemy nakshatra_ Magha, is obviously the villain. This theme of "whose story is this" is another display of the power struggle in this transition. I highly recommend watching this film, because for all of its jokes and slight changes, it still retains the original message.
"The kingdom fell into an icy despair..."
_ narration from the queen
Ashlesha's yoni animal is the male cat, Magha's is the male rat, its enemy yoni. As Magha comes directly after Ashlesha and begins the second stage of nakshatras, marking the start of the sign of Leo, together they also mark the first gandanta point.
The Evil Queen is a blatant example of a Magha character, especially symbolically. It is implied and then obvious that she married the king for power and material advantages. Her ego is almost cartoonishly bloated, and all of these qualities are amazingly contrasted to Snow White_ a quieter character, who is naturally humble and subtler, not as direct as the rat yoni Magha.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the beginning of the film she's dressed in a more golden dress, symbolizing her merging with and submission to the queen, stuck in the helpless state. After she gets the bravery to sneak out into the town, she wears a hooded cape the color of cooler, brighter yellow (more her coloring). When she comes back to attend the ball, she wears a pure white (symbolizing her purity and cool energy, resonant to Ashlesha) dress as her swan (grace, humility) costume. The Queen is dressed in bright red as a peacock (confidence, vanity, pride). That white dress is the one she stays in as she runs away and finds the home of the seven dwarves, the same white as the snow in the forest. In this adaptation, the whole kingdom is in an eternal winter under the queen's enchantment, just like the Ashlesha stage.
Tumblr media
As she finds dwarves, they quickly become each other's allies and supporters, and, in a way, it taught her her own power. As she was gathering strength to attack and become the new ruler of the kingdom, she already was a ruler of her new tiny kingdom (dwarves_ her new family).
In the Ashlesha stage there is a separation from the things you were clinging to. At first it's seen as a tragedy, but with distance and time, the individual realizes that it needed solitude. Snow White is forced to run away (because of danger, to literally not die), but she thrives away from the queen (restrictive, abusuve influences). There's another side to this: an avoidant person, aware of its sensitivity, who does not realize how much they crave real connection. Attachment to the "wrong" people and environments and longing for the "right" ones is the issue here, along with the paradox of needing to escape and move on (critical point, built up tension and energy) but risking the much needed purity by doing so (just what I've discussed above).
Since a lot of the time the vulnerable Ashlesha feels dependant on outside forces, the movement is forced, for better or for worse, but it never recoils completely or gives all of its energy away, as it feels like it has to remain guarded.
Snow White learns to fight on her own, with the support from a genuinely nurturing environment.
She starts to wear a blue dress (cool toned, contrasting Queen's gold and red) while she's literally fighting on the side of the Queen's exiles.
When the prince joins her and the dwarves, they hear the "beast" that has been terrorizing the kingdom. She locks everyone else in the hut so that she alone can face the enemy (even though they don't let her), which is a key point in retaining your power in the state of Ashlesha. Her desire to face it alone shows not only the growth of her bravery, but mainly, her strength, as it was precisely what allows bravery for her.
Transition to Magha
There's a blatant display of power from snow white, right at the end, after she reclaims the kingdom (and at the end she's wearing a blue dress with a bright golden-orange ribbon_ finding her own power and embracing it, without losing herself). It's the last test and a chilling reminder that Ashlesha's stage is prolonged, almost never over, and can subtly sneak up on you and defeat you if you lower your guard.
At her wedding with the prince, she's given a ripe, red apple.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"And so it was Snow White's story, after all"
_ the magic mirror.
She gives the Queen her apple back, finally cleansing herself completely from that poison and using it to harm her enemy. Now she's the one in power, repeating the queen's own words back to her.
The result of Ashlesha nakshatra: the destruction of the victim.
The individual moves to Magha nakshatra_ ruling, power, lineages, detachment from the body (Ashlesha is the attachment to the body), and takes their own place on their throne.

Nakshatra Observations:
Accuracy is dependent on ENTIRE chart. I find it most helpful to read for your Moon's nakshatra for yourself. For spouse, read for DK, or planet in 7th or 7th H ruler.
JYESTHA:
Often, they are the eldest child. If they are not, they may be the eldest child for one parent while the other has older children from a previous relationship.
They are usually the most successful amongst their siblings. They are likely to experience difficulty with siblings at some point. They can have siblings who resent them/are jealous of them. If they have an elder siblings, it is more than likely it will be the elder sibling who grows to feel this way about them.
SHATABHISHA:
If this is the asc sign nakshatra, they can be tall, lean and possibly bony. 1st H ruler placement and planets in 1st will influence this heavily.
Pada 4 specifically is more likely to experience luck and good fortune. They can be stubborn. Visual people who are attracted to luxurious aesthetics.
Shatabhisha nakshatra are extremely likely to defeat their enemies. Often, they will deal with hardships early on. Later in life, they rise and become fortunate. These people are often charitable to those in need but those who harmed them will not see this side of them.
ASHLESHA:
This nakshatra is connected to snakes. Like a snake, they are suspicious/cautious, they observe, calculate and then act. Depending on the entire chart, they can use this to be successful in business or deceptive in personal relationships/life.
Pada 2: the most likely to do well in business. They can be highly ambitious and calculated.
Pada 3: the most likely to be secretive and cold natured. Despite being in the sign of cancer, their warmth is buried deep inside. They do not feel comfortable with being vunerable.
This nakshatra is very misunderstood. These people will act aloof convincing the other person they are harmless or unaware. In reality, these people are the most aware, highly observant and calculated. This is not the nakshatra to be underestimated. They are very vengeful too.
Due to being misunderstood, they often become highly independent. They don't share much about themselves easily. They are likely to move in silence.
SHATABHISHA + ASHLESHA in relationships:
They can both hide things from one another. This doesn't meant they're cheating or something extreme. Instead, they can be not completely truthful when it comes to their past or their family. It won't exactly be a lie but it's not the truth. Depending on the "lies", this relationship can have a level of emotional distance and coldness. Why do they lie? Because they can refuse to let their guard down. Yet, they can be very attracted to one another's mystery.
UTTARA PHALGUNI:
Usually, they have a mole or beauty mark on their face.
Generally, their wealth is often tied to their social connections in some way. They can be popular and social climbers. They become well connected, this moves them up in their career and wealth.
Generally, they end up at least moderately wealthy later in life. The ones who are not wealthy are still secure in their family/marriage and home life.
They must be cautious of showing off their lifestyle in a distasteful manner. This is because they can become the target of envy/gossip. Things they don't want other knowing about their personal life, struggles and/or past become very well known. In certain cases, this can be seen as karma as these individuals are prone to enjoy gossip themselves.
MRIGASHIRA:
This is one indicator for having a child before marriage - ex: marrying someone with a kid, having a kid before marriage, being pregnant during the wedding. It would have to be a prominent placement.
Of course this is not always the case. If ketu is in 8th H of navamsa that is 2 indicators.

Mercury Nakshatras Style
In this post, I’ll be observing some consistent fashion styles in Mercury Nakshatras that I’ve noticed and explaining the meaning behind the influence. You can find my analysis on Saturn Nakshatra style [here].
Tumblr media
Stella Lucia - Ashlesha ☉
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Abbey Lee - Jyestha ☽ ☿ FKA Twigs- Jyestha ☽ ↑
Mercury nakshatra can lean towards a very bohemian-influenced style with flowy silhouettes, layered fabrics—especially patterns—intricate embroidery, and an abundance of accessories like sunglasses, beaded jewelry, scarves, and crystals. Much like Saturn-ruled Nakshatras, there is a deep love for textured materials and chokers. The boho style was most popular during the mid-60s to 70s, often represented by icons like Anita Pallenberg (Revati ☉, Jyestha ☽), who embodied its free-spirited essence.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
FKA Twigs - Jyestha ☽ ↑
Anita Pallenberg - Revati ☉ Jyestha ☽ ☿
Abbey Lee - Jyestha ☽
At its core, boho fashion represents artistic, intellectual, and creative freedom—a more down-to-earth connection, as if the clothing were effortlessly gathered from different people’s closets. This aligns well with Mercury Nakshatras, as Mercury governs communication, intellect, and how we process and express ideas. With its connection to water sign rulership, there’s a sentimental depth to their fashion—every piece carries purpose or meaning.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Georgia May Jagger - revati ☽
Teyanna Taylor - Jyestha ☉ ☿
Frances Bean Cobain - revati ☽
Mercury Nakshatras tend to gravitate toward an indie sleaze style, often incorporating patterned tights, combat or ankle boots paired with feminine, petite dresses, oversized ripped sweaters, or band tees—all with a deliberately messy, “unkempt” look. Footwear plays a significant role, especially for Revati natives, as Pisces rules the 12th house, which governs the feet. Meanwhile, Jyestha’s love for combat boots comes from Scorpio’s co-ruler, Mars, which governs war attire and tough, utilitarian aesthetics. Mercury Nakshatras often accessorize with sunglasses and even cigarettes, embodying a hedonistic, unpolished, and authentic style. Mercury itself carries a playful, indulgent nature, making these Nakshatras naturally drawn to a reckless, party-fueled aesthetic—think smudged makeup after a long night out. Much like their Gandanta Nakshatra counterparts (Ketu Nakshatras), they approach both fashion and life with an unfiltered, raw sense of authenticity.
Tumblr media
Kim Daul - Revati ☽
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Stella Lucia - Ashlesha ☉
Alexa Demie - Jyestha ☉ Ashlesha ↑ ☿
Sinead O’Connor - Jyestha ☉
I’ve noticed that Jyestha natives often gravitate toward a biker/punk aesthetic, favoring all-black clothing, tank tops, and fitted pants paired with leather jackets. mercury is seen as neutral gendered planet meaning a lot of mercury influence natives can take on a very androgynous and genderfluid look. A perfect example is Vivienne Westwood (Revati ☉, Jyestha ↑), whose revolutionary designs helped define the punk movement as well as breaking boundaries in gendered styling.
Tumblr media
Vivienne Westwood - Revati ☉ Jyestha ↑
Punk fashion, at its core, represents rebellion, anti-establishment ideals, and a DIY ethos—rejecting mainstream norms in favor of individuality and raw self-expression. It emerged in the 1970s as a reaction to societal constraints, blending elements of distressed clothing, leather, spikes, and provocative statements to challenge authority.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
1. Vivienne Westwood “Horned Tiara” the Mercury symbol itself has horns “☿”
2. Stella Lucia - Ashlesha ☉ modeling for Vivienne Westwood
This aligns deeply with Mercury Nakshatras, as Mercury governs intellect, communication, and subversive thinking. Those influenced by Mercury, especially Jyestha and Revati, often use fashion as a form of protest and self-expression. Their style is bold, strategic, and deliberately unfiltered, reflecting both Mercury’s quick-witted nature and Jyestha’s intense, transformative energy. The punk aesthetic, much like these Nakshatras, thrives on pushing boundaries, questioning norms, and embracing an unapologetic, rebellious identity.

Why no one talks about ashlesha nakshtara native's controlling parents?
I know sharvana and mom issues. But whenever I see a controlled environment overperfectionst parents with unrealistic expectations (very much ocd symptoms) it's always an ashlesha child.
I don't know the reason honestly. But not just controlling the parents are too involved to the point of suffocation. Wanting to know everything about the child, never giving them privacy, and always wanting the child to bent to the things patents think are best.
I see ashlesha natives being most considerate in social settings. Like if everyone is excluding you they will be the one to include you and make you friends with everyone. And I feel this unappreciated empathy does come from because of this same environment. Maybe I don't know.
People do put a lot on ashlesha. Lots of expectations, lots of pressure, lots of responsibilities. No matter the sector. Friends, love especially family.
And ashlesha always feel responsible to be the bearer for people. Typical cancer thing right? ♋️
Yes and I think this is the product both bro and con of the unrealistic expectations put on them. Their childish parents making them feel responsible for theirs emotions putting too much on ashlesha.
I hope you guys heal honestly. I feel very bad when I see an ashlesha's life. I feel like Honestly ashleshas does have slightly tougher lives than others. But well they are the mothers afterall.
Always having everything to give to world but struggle to give themselves anything. Which also in future makes them horrible parents if unhealed. Why? Cause they want their kids and spouse to be same to give in to everyones wishes and ideals of what is good for according to others on them. Always thinking about "what will society say" the most. It makes them nitpick on every single thing too, making them critics in a taunty way.
I wish they do mother themselves too. My heart does go out to all of you guys. The bearer of everyone's trauma. And though people might call you two faced or fake or whatever. Trust me you guys have the purest of the hearts people don't Come to you for nothing. You accept them and trust me not everyone does it like you, accepting people without judging. But this is also depleting you from inside. You don't have to mother no one now.
Just mother the unmothered child in you. Take a moment out. And don't just accept everyone making people use you. Give that energy first to yourself.
Lots and lots of love. In my eyes you guys will never be Bad. ♋️✨️

smh how could i miss such an obvious co-relation: mahalakshmi is the significator of venus and is associated with movement. she is called 'chanchala' or she, who is never constant and ever flowing. venus is money. that's why people who don't invest money or don't use it for the finer things in life are bound to lose it, because mahalakshmi dislikes having to be still. she adores movement, and blesses those who move her to the right places. putting this money in the wrong places is like putting mahalakshmi in a drug store or an alcohol shop, obviously she would hate it.
now, in nakshatras, we follow this order: ketu, venus, sun, moon, mars, rahu, jupiter, saturn, and mercury.
many nakshatras are associated with the 'birth' of mahalakshmi, that is, when she was churned out of the ocean but i personally believe it to be either pushya or anuradha; both saturn naks. the thing with saturn naks is self-containment. where punarvasu is outward expansion and ashlesha is inward expansion, pushya is consistency and the ability to control expansion.
jupiterian punarvasu expands to give, and is associated with charity or giving away or spreading light. giving is not always a good thing because if you give away your best, you will no longer matter. like the sun giving away its shine. ashlesha expands inwardly, and if it missteps, ends up poisoning itself. it's like a star collapsing in on itself and creating a black hole which mindlessly consumes.
but pushya is about balance and understanding that neither simply giving away or endless consumption is the path to any form of happiness or satisfaction. it's like knowing where to keep and where to give away. this is part of the reason pushya is considered a wealth giving nakshatra, because it's natives have this intrinsic understanding of the nature of happiness and mahalakshmi.
now, after saturn comes mercury. when saturn achieved wealth and these ideals, it had the choice of giving it, or withholding it from mercury. this is why struggles with gaining wealth, or inheritances is a mercurial theme. forgetting what it learnt when it was back in saturn leads it to lose its wealth and start over again. most saturnian people give mercurials a hard time with receiving things, and it can even be about knowledge or family traditions.
if, however, mercury manages to sustain itself, and withhold enough knowledge, then when it moves again towards ketu, it carries this wealth with itself which is why most ketuvian people are privileged somehow.
but the thing is that there is immense difficulty here because at the gandanta points, water and fire meet to create a dangerous situation. this is why you will rarely see any ketu or mercury dominant person having stable money, or being able to sustain money. and this is why the saturnian naks are beheld as the wealth giving nakshatras because away from turbulance, saturn learns to thrive. but it creates the space and desperation for the native to want to pursue something and not just sit around in life.
wealth is not necessary, but a certain royalty is transferred from ketu into venus and sun but is lost in moon. which is not to say that lunar nakshatras are bad or poor, but going into mythology chandra has always been problematic or controversial. stealing tara who was jupiter's wife, laughing at ganesha... there are many stories associated with him which highlight this nature of his.
from moon onwards we see a shift towards forming the baseline for the nakshatras to start learning about the nature of mahalakshmi. in mars we see the struggle to be perceived correctly and not be over-idealised to the point of self ruin. with rahu we see the struggle of polarity and recklessness as mars' immense passion is given to a body-less planet. in jupiter this passion or this energy is converted into the ability to create and then donate or give away before it again reaches saturn and the cycle continues.

Ashlesha Nakshatra natives' homes are often filled with a unique atmosphere that reflects their spiritual interests. Gemstones may be strategically placed throughout the house to enhance energy and promote a sense of well-being. The choice of colors in different rooms may have psychological reasoning behind them, aiming to create a harmonious and calming environment. Essential oils and incense are used to cleanse the energy within the home, aiding in the removal of negative influences. Various statues, figures, and posters of important spiritual figures may be present in the homes of Ashlesha Nakshatra, serving as reminders of their beliefs and values. Numerology might play a role in why a specific home was chosen, adding an extra layer of meaning to why someplace is important.

MY VEDIC ASTRO OBSERVATIONS 2
Tiger yonis (Chitra and Vishakha) can sometimes appear petty. Chitra is more outwardly so, but Vishakhas often bottle everything up and then suddenly become a completely different person, very confrontational about every little thing.(don't come for me not all of them are like that and this is just my observation)
Revatis are actually very nurturing and I don't see them often looked at in that way. The fact that they're tricksters and jesters doesn't take away the fact that they're very humanitarian and wordly, and they are like that naturally.
As a Bharani girl i've always felt connection and a similarity to Ashlesha girls? Both are mleccha(outcaste), ruled by rajastic planets(venus and mercury) and deal with all things feminine, but in different ways and at different stages. They're very similar but also completely different.
I think Uttara Phalguni and Uttara Bhadrapada INVENTED enemies to lovers, especially ones with a physical fight scene. Some content for reference: The Mask of Zorro, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, The Great. I think it's because they're yoni consorts(cow yoni) but opposite each other, and also warrior caste. Personally, I'm obsessed.
Cat yonis (Punarvasu and Ashlesha), on the other hand, love slow burn and pining. A really good example is Mary and Matthew from Downton Abbey.
Rat yonis ( Magha and Purva Phalguni) have an ego to them that's often noticable. Sometimes that ego is well deserved and very healthy, sometimes not.
I've noticed Hasta women are often disliked. Jyeshtas are also disliked, but more because they're hard to relate to. Hasta women usually irk people for seemingly no reason.
Speaking of Jyeshta, they often might feel alone inside because they cannot trust anyone. Jyeshta's stage is the battlefield where everyone is ultimately for themselves, so they're wise enough to realize that they somehow have to manage alone and that people will dislike them either way, but they have to not care about it.
Please interact if you found this interesting, don't be afraid to start discussions in the comments. Take care everyone 🤍

Rohini & Ashlesha ruling over, "The Siren Archetype"
Siren means a seductively beautiful or irresistible woman, especially one who beguiles men with a alluring voice but is also very dangerous.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I observed for the past few months of female celebrities who are considered to be "Sirens" and the two nakshatras that arose the highest in a lot of these women big 3, big 6, atmakaraka, lagnesh, or ascendant lord were Rohini and Ashlesha! In my opinion it 100% makes sense because Rohini and Ashlesha are known to be the most seductive nakshatras.
Rohini is naturally a seductive and alluring nakshatra, they have a huge amount of magnetism and irresistibility. Many perceive them to be docile and innocent which is a little true but at the same time Rohini individuals have a beguiling dark side and it's shown through fashion, makeup, and mannerisms. Their hypnotic snake-like eyes and allure will lure you in like a moth to a flame.
Ashlesha possess an tantalizing and enticing quality that's hard resist with a lot of people deeming them as incredibly sexy beauties. Their aura and the way they talk is very tempting almost attracting everyone towards them in just one minute. They already are rule the dark feminine aesthetic and the Siren eyed look, the gaze is hypnotizing and captivating. Ashlesha women are extremely powerful seductress.
Another thing that Rohini and Ashlesha have in common is the power attraction able to pull masses with ease due to their enthralling and entrancing talents and they're both connected to snakes which grants them seduction and hypnotism, but also snakes has connections to water too some snakes know how to swim and those that are born with snake yoni nakshatras can be excellent swimmers and sensual dancers. Snake nakshatras make great singers, they have breathy, sultry, and trance-inducing vocals. Both of these nakshatras tend to attract people that want to abuse, and take advantage of them because of their beauty, charm, and seductiveness. It's similar to a snake it'll be minding its own business just passing through and then all of a sudden humans or animals will catch hold of the its presence admiring it or immediately freaking out wanting to attack it, this is why snakes are constantly on defense mode from things and people that'll want to harm them much similar to Siren and her singing. Thanks to the venom that snakes maintain that is too used to protect themselves as well.

Before I finish up this post I'd like to add Ailyn here, she was a former singer in the Norwegian metal band called, "Sirenia" and when she was still in the group they had a album named, "Perils of the Deep Blue" that came out in 2013 with the cover image of Siren. All of the songs in the album is dedicated to Siren, Ailyn's singing and essence alone is reminding me of a Siren.

I was watching an episode of Columbo (1977) – 'Try and Catch Me' in which the killer, played by Ruth Gordon, murders her late niece's husband because she suspects he was responsible for her niece's mysterious death.
I believed Gordon to be an Ashlesha moon and when I checked her chart it turns out she has her moon and ketu conjunct in Ashlesha.
Her character is shown to be a famous murder-mystery author which strongly ties in with Ashlesha and Mercury, but two things she said specifically really made me believe she was an Ashlesha native:
"There are murderers and then there are murders. Once upon a time, the offended party could issue a challenge to a duel. What a wonderful solution to a problem! By the time the duel ended, the problem no longer existed. Of course, dueling existed only for our forefathers, not our foremothers. Chauvinism at its very worst... However, however, women were the cooks and there was all sorts of poison available."
The shakti of Ashlesha is visashleshana shakti, which is the power to inflict poison and destroy an enemy.
Another thing which Ruth's character, Abigail Mitchell, said in the episode that struck me as definitively Ashlesha was in response to her secretary's attempt at blackmailing her. Veronica, the secretary, says to Abigail, "I've been meaning to speak to you about my salary. After all, we've been together nearly four years. [...] Oh, Abby, I do hope you don't think I'm forcing myself."
To which our Ashlesha killer responds,
"Oh, my dear, I'm always been baffled by people who say they won't submit to force. I can't think of anything else to submit to, can you?"
Ashlesha is associated with the aspect of the feminine which only submits to the greatest force exerted upon it, whilst devouring that which is weak.
An IMDb synopsis of thie episode states, "An old lady who writes popular mystery novels strongly suspects that her niece's husband murdered her, so she exacts revenge by asphyxiating him in her house safe while devising a solid alibi. It's up to Columbo to unravel the subterfuge."
The presiding deity of Ashlesha are the Nagas, the Serpent Gods and the yoni animal of this nakshatra is a snake. Snakes kill their prey via asphyxiation or by inflicting venom.

Vedic Astro Observations 5
Accuracy influenced by entire chart.
Mercury in 4th: Word gets around fast in your family. You can have a parent that is quick to share about your personal life.
You may move around a lot with this placement (as an adult or a kid)
- If mercury is debilitated or harshly aspected, any of the above can emotionally hurt you.
Moon with Mars or Saturn in 4th House are two indicators the spouse works in construction.
10th H Ruler in 12th H can indicate working abroad or with foreign people - especially if 12th H or 10th is in sag. This also can indicate not being as recognized for your work. You can be a behind the scenes type of person. EX: Correctional's officer, they do a very important job but often aren't respected or remembered in society the same way police officers are.
DK in sag can indicate a spouse from a different background - ethnicity, country, city, religion, culture, etc.
Jupiter DK in home sign (pisces or sag) can show a tall spouse. However, accuracy is influenced by the ENTIRE chart. One placement only offers general insight.
Mars in Pisces - even if Mars has no connection to your 7th H - shows tall boyfriend. This observation has been true in EVERY single person - gay or straight as long as they are seeking a man.
DK in 10th House can be an indicator of working with the spouse. You may meet at work. You may have the same job. You may years later decide to open a business. All the couples ik who work together have DK in 10th, the DK is usually sun or saturn.
5th H ruler in 12th H is one indicator for having children be born abroad or very far from your own birthplace.
Venus conjunct Sun or Mercury are indicators for a younger spouse. The spouse being younger is even more likely if this conjunction is in gemini. Sometimes this shows the spouse will be shorter or near your own height. Accuracy will depend on ENTIRE chart.
Moon in 4th H or Moon in 7th in a man's chart are the biggest indicators of being a mama's boy. The relationship with the mother can be complicated depending on the entire chart. However, either way these dude's are the most likely to let their mother influence their relationships. ex: picking a partner who looks or acts like their mom.
Jupiter in Ashlesha shows the spouse has seductive or intense eyes/gaze. In certain cases, they may literally be a scorpio rising or have scorpio placements.

I’ve noticed that Ashlesha and Mula energy can often be confused for each other, as they share similar qualities and even look alike. Ashlesha is the birth star of Ketu, while Mula represents Ketu at its highest expression. Both are often seen as “drainers” and possess a magnetic, intense stare.
The same goes for Shatabhisha and Uttara Bhadrapada, as they are often mistaken for each other and even look alike. Shatabhisha carries strong Saturnian energy due to its Aquarius rulership, especially with Rahu, which is said to function similarly to Saturn. Meanwhile, Uttara Bhadrapada represents Saturn at its highest expression. Both have an ethereal beauty and embody Cinderella-like themes.
