She certainly seems to have had a full life.

Oh, there are a lot of lousy people in the world. Also, a lot of terrific people. You've gotta remember that, and you've got to move in the right circles. I have days where I just want everyone to go fuck themselves or walk off a cliff, but I only say that to myself, and I smile and I walk home and I have some tea, I talk to Garson [Kanin, her husband], I might take a nap. Then I wake up and I write, and in writing, I wipe away all the unpleasantness of the day, of the people, of the city, whatever. We have it in our power to overcome assholes, and I think we have them thrown into our path to see if we have the chops to handle them. Handle them.

ashlesha
I was watching an episode of Columbo (1977) – 'Try and Catch Me' in which the killer, played by Ruth Gordon, murders her late niece's husband because she suspects he was responsible for her niece's mysterious death.
I believed Gordon to be an Ashlesha moon and when I checked her chart it turns out she has her moon and ketu conjunct in Ashlesha.
Her character is shown to be a famous murder-mystery author which strongly ties in with Ashlesha and Mercury, but two things she said specifically really made me believe she was an Ashlesha native:
"There are murderers and then there are murders. Once upon a time, the offended party could issue a challenge to a duel. What a wonderful solution to a problem! By the time the duel ended, the problem no longer existed. Of course, dueling existed only for our forefathers, not our foremothers. Chauvinism at its very worst... However, however, women were the cooks and there was all sorts of poison available."
The shakti of Ashlesha is visashleshana shakti, which is the power to inflict poison and destroy an enemy.
Another thing which Ruth's character, Abigail Mitchell, said in the episode that struck me as definitively Ashlesha was in response to her secretary's attempt at blackmailing her. Veronica, the secretary, says to Abigail, "I've been meaning to speak to you about my salary. After all, we've been together nearly four years. [...] Oh, Abby, I do hope you don't think I'm forcing myself."
To which our Ashlesha killer responds,
"Oh, my dear, I'm always been baffled by people who say they won't submit to force. I can't think of anything else to submit to, can you?"
Ashlesha is associated with the aspect of the feminine which only submits to the greatest force exerted upon it, whilst devouring that which is weak.
An IMDb synopsis of thie episode states, "An old lady who writes popular mystery novels strongly suspects that her niece's husband murdered her, so she exacts revenge by asphyxiating him in her house safe while devising a solid alibi. It's up to Columbo to unravel the subterfuge."
The presiding deity of Ashlesha are the Nagas, the Serpent Gods and the yoni animal of this nakshatra is a snake. Snakes kill their prey via asphyxiation or by inflicting venom.

Ruth Gordon (Rosemary's Baby)—Look. I know "Harold & Maude" is just past the cutoff, and that's without a doubt her scrungliest performance. But this is THEE Ruth Gordon! She's the most persistent of the scrungly little guys, and probably among the littlest while we're at it. This legend-ass legend scrungled her way through Hollywood, on screen and off, for decades until finally getting the recognition she deserved for "Rosemary's Baby." And that performance worked largely in part because she was scrungly with style and pizzazz. Few people could pull that off the way Ruth did. Even if we're not allowed to consider Maude because of a silly little thing like "dates" and "rules" (your rules aren't silly, I love and respect this blog), Minnie is more than enough to prove Ruth Gordons scrunglitude
Cantinflas (Around the World in 80 Days, Ahí está el detalle, Ni Sangre, ni Arena)—OH BOY I GET TO TALK ABOUT CANTINFLAS!! Honestly, I’m not the most qualified to even be talking about him: he was famously a king of wordplay, but Spanish is my second language so I always feel like I’m missing some of the jokes…..but even so he is so SO funny it’s like unbelievable. Ok so also. One movie I can talk confidently about is him in around the world in 80 days, which i have watched so many times and he just rocks. Like. ROCKS. Here he is on his dumb little bike [included below the cut]. This is how we meet him in th movie and I think they should have just put the words “SCRUNGLY” across the scene. He also does little tricks, wears his dumb little shoes, has some kind of weird romantic thing going on with David niven…..it makes me so sad we dont have even more movies from him because honestly his whole thing (esp in 80 days with his silly trousers) is just Gender.
This is round 2 of the contest. All other polls in this bracket can be found here. If you're confused on what a scrungle is, or any of the rules of the contest, click here.

It’s a real moron who waits for the world—and the people in it—to inform him or her what life holds. Come on! We are the authors of our life; we are the architects, the designers. Build the life you think you deserve, and then deserve it. Work your ass off. It’s great fun. I pity the person who looks to the stars or cards or so-called wise men or fashion or anything but their own heart to tell them how to think or live or be. Do what only you can do and do it well and do it now. Right now! Time’s wasting, and time needs you.
