Ending MerMay (every day is MerMay tbh) with my Moon design for my Ocean AU! In this AU, his name is Moonfall (a name given by locals).

Scars are from other astrosirens (What their species are called. The scientific name is astrum aquadraco) and attacks from poachers. These things are pure muscle, a whip from that tail could fold a catamaran in half. 

Moonfall is big. He’s 67 feet long, just past class leviathan, making him an astroleviathan instead of an astrosiren by technicality. 

His eyes become black with bright white pupils at night. Those pupils can turn bright red when provoked/hunting. His markings can also glow as an intimidation display or to attract potential mates. 

Moonfall is a lunar astrosiren subtype. This means he is darker in coloration, nocturnal, and is a man-eater. 

I could go more into detail, but I might turn this post into an essay if I do, so I’ll bite my tongue for now lol.

Hey astrosiren.

Something to say for a person who suffer of planets in 12th house. I've read about, but I still can't understand them. (I have mars, jupiter and pluto in 12th)

Hey my love, it’s actually a sensitive topic because I’ve been emotionally abused by a person with a 12th house stellium ( I know astrology shouldn’t be mixed with personal experiences but I’m still a human being) I myself have a 12th house venus :) I will be neutral in my analysis

The 12th house is a really intimate and more subconscious house. For example pluto is the planet of transformations, sex, death and taxes. It’s probably harder for you to step into your power and start transforming yourself in reality. Also your sexual desires are probably a really sensitive and closed of topic, you may grew up thinking talking about sex is something shameful and forbidden or you go all in and almost sexual anything (which you should also keep in check, it could ruin you and your relationships). Stop feeling restricted by your environment and tap into your authentic self. Start questioning if the way you live rn is making you happy and if not start changing it within yourself and cut toxic people of. 12th house also feels restricted and often times angry and frustrated, you should start working with your shadow self and keep your ego in check. Often times you disconnect with reality, missing out on your own actions towards people. Jupiter in the 12th house is a really positive placement to have. Luck comes naturally to you and you’re really good at manifesting just with your thoughts. Try to keep a healthy and positive mindset (but never repress your emotions, let them flow in and out)

(All in all having Planets in the 12th house is not bad, you choose what to do with them by making decisions in your own mind, be good and good things will come to you)

Original Fiction Fest Introduction

Hey everyone, here’s my introduction to the original fiction fest hosted by @originalficfest. I figured this would be a great way for me to tell everyone more about my two main projects.

About Me

I’m Michael, an 18 year old (soon to be) high school graduate who intends to become a creative writing teacher after college. Outside of writing and reading, I have interests in video games (Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Witcher 3 are my favorites), makeup, and astronomy. I’m openly trans and gay, which feeds into why I write LGBTQ speculative (scifi/fantasy/paranormal). I’m pretty extroverted, so it would be awesome to make some new friends through this!

About Immortality Keys: Book One

Genre: LGBTQ Speculative (scifi/fantasy)

Summary: King Jenderous and Princess Envera have been soldiers of the intergalactic ruler Salarion Vesaukx. They’ve been so since the two were children and their people, the Fendoorens, were brought to near extinction in a genocide carried out by one of Vesaukx’s rivals. To be anything less than oiled cogs in the machine of conquest is to die, and treason guarantees agony before your execution. However, the royal brother and sister are approached by their patron gods to do just that. Betray Salarion and aide the members of their sister race, the Werins, in fighting against the conquest against them, and to prevent immortality-granting keys from falling into Salarion’s grasp. Hopefully divine, and magical, intervention will allow them to pull off something impossible. 

Setting: Around 3 different planets

Main characters: Jenderous and Envera Avokmi

About In A Siren’s Orbit

Genre: LGBTQ Speculative (scifi)

Synopsis: Vyn Montellia, a researcher on the Lovian moon Opallie, is just trying to be promoted to expeditionist. When the captain of a nearly desolate spacecraft arrives at the Opallie Waystation and informs the outpost of a flock of Astrosirens approaching the planet, everyone's priorities shift to not being one of the unfortunate souls lulled away into the vacuum by the siren songs. As the melodies chorus above the research center and people go missing, Vyn and a few others remain unaffected, causing rumors to spread that the sirens have a human ally. While Vyn is no ally, he does build a friendship with Aeliel, one of the few male sirens of the flock, and someone Vyn can't stay away from. Could Vyn use his friendship to save the research center, or will another man's arrogance doom them all?

Setting: Opallie, one of the four moons orbiting a gas planet.

Main characters: Vyn Montellia and Aeliel

Continuing with the MerMay saga in @crabas-lordes' Ocean AU!

Took me all day to complete this one and last bits a bit rushed just to finish before midnight in my timezone. But I did it!

Just a lil look into astrosiren reproduction, which includes hugearse fish looking reptiles laying eggs the size of baseballs, according to my research through the server. Just wow.

More Ocean AU with OC’s, the astrosiren version of Sunflower, just out for a swim. Being covered in venomous stingers and about 35f long, is good thing this one is a vegetarian unlike most others of his kind.
