what was supposed to be a fun harmless little crush and a nice distraction has turned into something so scary. not scary as in hideous and terrible. it's lovely as blooming feelings usually are. but... still scary because of past experiences. scary because i don't think i'm ready for anything to actually come out of it yet even though my heart really wants it. scary because what if they're untrustworthy? what if they're worse than all the people i met before? i fear it has the potential to break my heart even more than last time

i think one of the reasons why i love otome isekais is because lots of times the two leads are childhood friends, and their lives and identities are simply so intertwined that you cannot imagine them existing without the other. they simply would not be the same person.

like obviously there are plenty of OIs who do not fall into this trope, and i love that flavour and the diversity, but i also just really really love a good codependent relationship in fiction

Cinema

Dear Diary...

Leaving the house, driving or taking the bus, walking to the mall, going into the ticket office to pay, sitting on those comfortable chairs and watch a film is the sign of a beautiful day.

Going to the cinema is a unique experience, every time. Tomorrow I'm going to watch Deadpool and Wolverine for the third time. I love that movie, but smelling that musty smell that isn't nauseating, watching the commercials even if they're boring and chatting with my friend about the movie is so beautiful.

I don't care if I've seen this movie twice, I know this time it will be as beautiful as the first. I really need to go to the movies, because it's an experience that detaches you from reality in the most beautiful way possible, stunned in front of a giant screen with loud speakers.

How do people who don't go there do it? My father is one of them, he says he doesn't like being around people, and I can understand that because of the annoying noises they can create, but I don't care, even if I'm also offended by children laughing or people eating, when the film starts I can completely isolate myself.

And... Tomorrow I'm going to see the movie with my best friend, and he's already seen it too, but he's not interested just to spend time with me (I love him), and then the cinema is our safe place, since we met we go there mostly to watch horror/thriller And oh my god it feels so good to be held onto him through jump scares or even just anxiety.

I love cinema, nothing to say honestly, I will look forward to tomorrow.
