Emperor Napoleon V and Empress Charlotte have announced the joyous news of the upcoming arrival of their first child, the future heir to the throne of Francesim. This is a momentous occasion for the imperial couple and the entire nation, which eagerly awaits the birth of this child. While the baby’s gender and name remain closely guarded secrets, anticipation is already palpable among the people, who are preparing to celebrate this new addition to the imperial lineage with great enthusiasm.

As Francesim rejoices at the news of the imperial couple’s first child, a pressing question fills public conversations and speculations: will Emperor Napoleon V be at his wife’s side in the coming months? This question is especially pertinent given the Regency, which allows the Empress to govern in the Emperor’s absence as he pursues military training.

In this unprecedented situation, observers wonder if the sovereign, already far from the palace, might set aside his ambitions temporarily to support Charlotte through this crucial period. The answer to this question could well shape the coming months and further endear the young imperial family to the French people.

Robert: Aurelia, please come out. It's your birthday and I have a surprise since nobody else in this damn castle seems to care.

Robert: Aurelia..?

*Aurelia sniffles*

Robert: There you are my dear. Whatever is the matter?

Aurelia: Leave me be Uncle Bertie. I wish to be alone today.

Robert: No, no I won't do that. It's your birthday and your foolish da-forgive me, your foolish parents can't seem to remember. Your mother is still in her bed and not dressed and your fool of a father has been off riding since the crack of dawn, which is never good, he always does that when something is troubling him.

Aurelia: He's been going off riding for long periods every morning since....you know.

Robert: Yes, I know how he reacts to death but he has other children to attend to as well. Mama says he's worse than when our Father died. Had I known it was this bad here I wouldn't have been in the city so long...

Aurelia: *wiping eyes* Well, if you should know, I asked that for my birthday nobody did anything or mentioned it, so it's not their fault. All I asked for was to be alone.

Robert: Well, I'm not respecting that wish. You don't need to be alone, especially on your birthday. None of them have any sense to realize that.

Aurelia: *sniffles* But I WANT to be alone. No birthday will ever be the same again without her. I hate my birthday.

Robert: Well I love your birthday and would like to celebrate it with you and that's why I've came all the way from Winshire. Since those fools haven't prepared you a cake, you and I will go to the sweet shop and get sorbet.

Aurelia: Why should I enjoy any sweets if she never will again? It's my fault, I-

Robert: No, sugar, quit saying that. If you'd like to blame anyone then let it be me, I can bear it. I can't bear you thinking it's your fault though.

Aurelia: But it is…

Robert: *sitting down* No, no its n-*back cracks* NOT!

Aurelia: *softly giggling*

Robert: I'm glad my pain amuses you. If I could break every bone in my body a million times just for you to be happy, I would.

Aurelia: You don't mean that.

Robert: I mean it with my whole heart.

I love you, and I do hate seeing you sad. I too, know how it feels to lose a sister, you know?

Aurelia: *sniffles* Yes, yes I know.

Granny doesn't speak about her that much, neither does Papa.

Robert: They do that because it's easier for them. It's been nearly forty years, and I assure you not a day goes by where they don't think of her. I think of her everyday, and was only eight when she passed.

Aurelia: *softly* What was she like?

Robert: *smiling* Georgiana was a lot like you, believe it or not. She was kind, compassionate, and a little shy. But she didn't really prefer naturally feminine hobbies such as embroidery, cross stitching, or anything to deal with music and that upset our Mama a lot. My Father adored her, because she shared his interests. Before bed, she would often scare your Papa and I with silly ghost stories and don't tell him I told you this, but he once got so scared he wet himself in his nightgown.

Aurelia: *hysterically laughing* Really?

Robert: Yes sugarplum, really. He was around your age when this happened.

Aurelia: *sitting on lap* Uncle Bertie?

Robert: Yes sugarplum?

Aurelia: Does it get any better?

Robert: What do you mean?

Aurelia: Will I ever stop feeling so…sad?

Robert: The pain won't go away, but in time, you'll learn how to manage it better. You won't feel so sad everyday when you're older, it'll just be some days.

Aurelia: But will I ever feel happy again?

Robert: Of course you will sugarplum! You will have many happy memories in your lifetime, trust me. The happy ones outweigh the bad ones, I know it's hard right now, but I promise you eventually it'll get better, *kisses cheek* alright?

Aurelia: Alright. Can we still maybe get sorbet..?

Robert: We will go right now. *picking up* I'll even buy you a whole cake for yourself, how does that sound?

Aurelia: *gasp* Really? But what will Papa say?

Robert: He won't know. Perhaps we will buy him one too, he might need it.

Aurelia: I think Papa needs more than a cake!

Robert: At this rate...I think he does too. We will worry about him tomorrow though, today is your birthday, not his.

Bridget: Aurelia…?

Bridget: *grabbing face* Aurelia.?

Aurelia: *pushing away* Why are you in here..?

Bridget: I couldn't sleep well, my room is too hot. Yours is always cooler...

Aurelia: *sniffling* You always say this when you want to sleep with me.

Bridget: Well, perhaps I do, but I can't because you're upset! What's wrong?

Aurelia: Why does everyone have to die?

Bridget: Is this about Harriet?

Aurelia: Uncle Bertie.

Bridget: Oh, I miss him too Aurelia. What made you think of him today?

Aurelia: I remembered how he took me for sorbet on my birthday ten years ago.

Bridget: Aurelia, it's alright. *caressing cheek* You know he wouldn't want you to be like this, you can't say he would.

Aurelia: No, *wiping eyes* no he wouldn't.

Bridget: It'll be alright Aurelia. Tonight will be the best birthday of your life and I'll make sure of it!

Aurelia: *sniffles* Oh please don't say this will be the best one. I'm already sad today, I would like to at least hope for one birthday in the future where I wake up happy and not cry.

Bridget: Fine. It will be ONE of the best birthdays of your life. *grinning* Is that better?

Aurelia: A little.

Bridget: You shall dance with your future husband, and all is well!

Aurelia: *smirking* I do hope you’re right.

Bridget: When am I not?

Aurelia: Well..

Bridget: *giggling* No do not answer that.

Aurelia: I suppose you mean not to sleep in your own bed?

Bridget: Yes! *climbing in bed* It's too much trouble to walk back.

Charlotte & Alexander were married in the summer of 1812. From that day forward, Charlotte was known as Viscountess Charlotte Sarah Beaumont. 

The couple would go on to live a long and fulfilling life together. Together, they would have three children; Amelia Catherine, Francis Arthur, and Finnegan Theodore. 

Their first was Amelia Catherine, named after her grandmother. Their two sons, Francis and Finnegan, would carry on the Beaumont name. Amelia would grow up wanting more than her life in Britechester, and would marry a banker named Edison Stanfield. Together, Amelia and Edison sailed across the vast ocean to live in Simerica.

And that was the prequel! Pretty long, I apologize. It was actually a lot longer, believe it or not! I had to keep reminding myself that this was a prequel and to not keep it going forever. Though I’m happy I got to tell the story I did, as silly as it was, I enjoyed myself and I hope you did too! Now, we will skip a few years and officially start the Decades Challenge! With Amelia’s grandchild as the founder. I’m so excited for you all to meet them! Before we officially say goodbye to Charlotte and Alexander, I leave you with a portrait of their eldest daughter all grown up! She looks a LOT like her dad, with some elements of Charlotte in there too.

Presenting a wedding venue build inspired by the regency era/Bridgerton series! Host your sims' wedding in a dreamy venue accentuated by floral extravangence and elegant decor, accompanied by a small regency-style manor.

Disclaimer: I am not a regency era expert, and this build is not meant to be authentic to the era. Rather, I was inspired by Syboulette’s Bridgerton Wedding Set and wished to create a romantic, floral, and dreamy regency-inspired build for my royals. One can adapt this build to multiple eras! (For my own story, I will be adapting it to the late-Victorian era!)

1. What has been your favorite time period to play in or which one are you most excited for?  

I’m loving 1800-1900 right now but i really love the fashion of 1700-1800.

2. Do you have a favorite piece of historical cc? (CAS or BB)  

I love all of the vintagesimstress creations but this dress is my fav

Really like Rose but i still love Selena.

4. What is your favorite world?  

Glimmerbrook and Newcrest, i love the woods of glimmerbrook but just aren’t enough lots.

5. Are you more gameplay or story focused?  

i’m a gameplay blog, yes there is a story but i don’t write it out my writting skills in english just aren’t strong enough, i’m  fluent in english but i have dyslexia so writting is a struggle.

6. Do you like to play with pets in your historical saves?  

I try to, but honestly they’re so annoying to deal with.  Like why are you running away?? you have food, pets all the time and there is always somebody on the lot.

7. What’s your biggest immersion breaking pet peeve with the game?  

NPCs.... I delete them, if they’re lucky they get an outfit pasted

8. What’s your favorite in-game historical item? (CAS or BB)  

The Vampires gamepack. I always use cc for everything but there are some good pieces in that pack

9. What would you like to see as a new pack or asset to the game?  

right now not a lot i would just love it if they fixed all the buggs. one of my sims was aged up from toddler to child with a dirty diaper she is now a teen and the stink is still following her.

10. What pack do you think is invaluable as a historical simmer?  

Cottage Living. The farming part. Even if all my chickens want to leave.

11. Do you have a favorite mod to enhance historical gameplay?  

There’s so many, but i love  Regency Romance.

For gameplay, I  prefer families of 6. but if i have a specific story 3-4

Only for if i like the sim.....

I don’t really know. my sims skincolors aren’t ea if that counts.

15. Do you, or did you, play off-the-grid during your game?  

I play on the grid, there are to many things that need to be.

16. What lifespan do you play on?  

normal/custom lifespan settings! infant is 5days toddler is 15days child is 15days teen is 35days youngadult is 30days adult is 25days elder is 15days. this is just what works for me.

17. What inspired you to start playing a historically?  

I started in fantasy gameplay. i started watching historical movies and series and the fantasy part started fading out.

Sophie of Rostock Characters: The Rostock Family

A Little Background on the Rostock Family: The Rostock Family has been a noble family in the Wardenburg Region since 1506. They were once a rich powerful family until the 1730s, when Adolphus 13th Prince of Rostock joined in the coalition against the King of Wardenburg, who was trying to reunite the country. Adolphus lost majority of the family fortune fighting in a war against the King of Wardenburg. The current reigning Prince of Rostock is His Serene Highness Prince Joseph Frederick II, 15th Prince of Rostock, he has no children but has been married to Princess Louise of Vasa for 30 years, his heir is his nephew HSH Prince Gustaf of Rostock, 22 year old son of his brother the late Prince Heinrich. 

First Character: Her Serene Highness Princess Sophie Julianne Frederike of Rostock

Born in 1792, she is the eldest daughter of her parents HSH Prince Heinrich of Rostock and HRH Princess Viktoria of Norden Princess Heinrich of Rostock. She is also the twin sister of HSH Prince Louis Frederick. Sophie was a delight to her father when she was born, she was always his favorite. Sophie was always a bright girl, she learnt all of the languages of the SImtenent and read every piece of literature at the Castle’s library. Her father was stationed in Brunsfield near the North Sea in 1795, and so her family followed. She moved from Schloss Rostock at her uncle’s small court to the lonely city of Brunsfield. She lived at a fortified castle with her siblings and mother. Her mother, Viktoria was always cold to her, she wanted more from her and expected the best. Sophie was closest to her twin Louis Frederick and was jealous of her sister Maria Gisela who was her mother’s favorite. While in Brunsfield in 1806 she fell in love with a soldier who’s father was his officer. Her father sent Sophie to her grandmother, the Dowager Duchess of Norden’s court in Graz. Once her father died in 1807, her and her family returned home to Schloss Rostock. For the past two years, Sophie has been preparing for marriage and has been meeting suitors. She is yet to come out to court in Wardenburg, but with her mother’s wealthy and influential relatives she will be sure to catch someone.

Second Character: HRH Princess Viktoria of Norden, Dowager Princess Heinrich of Rostock

Princess Viktoria was born in 1768 to the reigning Duke and Duchess of Norden, her grandfather had been the King of Vasa and her grandmother a Grand Princess of Weimar. She had come form a powerful and influential family with relatives from all over the continent and in very powerful courts. Viktoria was her parent’s youngest, and the 6th daughter. She ended up marrying last and her parents chose HSH Prince Heinrich of Rostock who was far below her station. The Court was shocked once it was heard that Viktoria had stooped so low compared to the rest of her family which the reason is still not known. Her marriage with Prince Heinrich was quite happy but she was never in love with him. She had 10 children with him, and only 4 survived childhood. Her first surviving child, Prince Gustaf was born in 1788, 6 years after they had married. Rumor was that Heinrich was going to divorce Viktoria because his mistress had gotten pregnant before she had. Viktoria hated life in Brunsfield, she was a social girl who grew up in a massive court and disliked the lonely life there. Once her husband died she was quite relieved to return back to Schloss Rostock. She always expected the best from her children, especially Sophie whom she saw as the ticket from her life as a minor Wardenburgian Princess. She has been preparing Sophie for marriage for the past few years, and her entire life to be honest.

Third Character: HSH Princess Maria Gisela of Rostock

Princess Maria Gisela is the youngest of the Rostock siblings. She was born in 1794 in Brunsfield Castle. Maria Gisela has had a much more relaxed life compared to her sister. As she is the youngest she is not expected to marry for at least another two or three years and enjoys having lots of time before worrying about that. Maria Gisela like her sister also fell in love with a soldier, General Rudolf St.Josephs and it has been rumored she has slept with him, essentially ruining her reputation in Brunsfield but it had been covered up by Viktoria. Maria Gisela enjoys going on horse rides and enjoys the ballet in Rostock. 

Fourth Character: HSH Prince Gustaf of Rostock

Prince Gustaf was born in 1788, the first surviving child of his parents. He spent his younger years at Schloss Rostock under the care of his governess and later many tutors. Gustaf stayed with his uncle at Schloss Rostock while the rest of his family moved to Brunsfield. He has been raised as the heir of Rostock by his uncle and aunt who acted as his foster parents. In 1802, he joined his parents and family at Brunsfield where he lived until his father died. He did military training there where his father was a general. Once his father had died, he took responsibility for his family. He took control of the family’s finance and made the decision to go back to Schloss Rostock. In 1808, Prince Gustaf accompanied his second cousin Crown Prince Carl of Vasa on his journey to find a bride. The Crown Prince chose Princess Amelie of Cologne to be his wife. Meanwhile Prince Gustaf became engaged to Princess Elisabeth of Bremen in December. 

Fifth Character: Prince Louis Frederick of Rostock 

Prince Louis Frederick is the twin of Princess Sophie, and was born in 1792. Similarly to Prince Gustaf, he was taught by tutors in Brunsfield and trained to be a soldier. Since his father’s death, he has been going to college at Bremen. Louis Frederick is known as the “brains” of the family and has been studying for quite some years. While his brother was the “soldier” he has been the “philosopher” of the family. He has always been more concerned with academics and has bonded with his sister Sophie over literature. 

Sixth Character: HRH Princess Helene of Vasa, Dowager Duchess of Norden

Born into the powerful Vasa Royal Family which controls the Northern Sea, she was seen as a powerful political figure. As she was the only daughter of the King of Vasa, she had married the Duke of Norden, nephew of the King of Wardenburg and son of the Grand Princess of Weimar who held major political ties to foreign countries. Her marriage cemented an alliance between the two countries and settled that Vasa controlled the Northern Sea. She is a very traditional and old fashioned woman, she grew up in a Royal Court and is extremely well versed in Court Manor. Since her husband died she has become the leading lady at the Norden Court. Most of her children married incredibly well, marrying Archdukes, HRH’s, Princes/Princesses, and Grand Princes. Viktoria was incredibly disappointed in the choice she had made for her daughter Viktoria, and has been financially supporting her family for the past few years. Viktoria now hopes to fix her mistake with Viktoria by marrying her granddaughter Sophie to a powerful family. She has given up hope for Maria Gisela and has already had a small victory for Gustaf’s engagement. 

anyway so these are going to be the main characters for the majority of part one! There will be more main characters but I do not want to give them away because it would be a spoiler! So the story will begin in April of 1809!

In a historic televised address, Emperor Napoleon V, unexpectedly, decides to temporarily hand over power to his beloved wife, Empress Charlotte, thereby instituting a Regency. This unexpected announcement surprised the French public, who had anticipated hearing about the first political actions of his reign. To reassure the nation, Napoleon explains that the Empress will be supported by a trusted council, led by Imperial Prince Henri, who will ensure the continuity and greatness of Francesim.

Dans une annonce télévisée historique, l’Empereur Napoléon V, contre toute attente, décide de céder temporairement le pouvoir à son épouse bien-aimée, l’Impératrice Charlotte, marquant ainsi la mise en place d’une Régence. Cette déclaration inattendue a surpris le peuple français, qui attendait plutôt les premières mesures politiques de son règne. Pour rassurer la nation, Napoléon indique que l'Impératrice sera épaulée par un conseil de confiance, présidé par le prince impérial Henri, qui veillera à la continuité et à la grandeur de la Francesim.
