Mayor: How are you doing?

Morgyn: Not really having the best of days.

Mayor: Understandable.

Morgyn: I can't understand how I didn't notice any of Áine's bad qualities before getting into a relationship with her. It's so obvious now.

Mayor: Being in love can cloud one's judgement.

Morgyn: I hate when she comments on my looks when I'm doing everyday stuff! I feel objectified! I accidentally did it to her once, and I felt so bad about it afterwards, but apparently she liked it, so it might be my fault that she does it to me.

Mayor: It's not your fault.

Mayor: Do you want a comforting hug?

Mayor: No pressure, of course, I don't even know if you like hugs.

Morgyn: A hug would be nice.

Morgyn: Aw, I didn't know you're so cuddly.

Mayor: I am a cat, of course I'm cuddly.

Morgyn: I really needed a hug, thank you.

Mayor: Hey, you're still here?

Morgyn: Sorry, I got lost in thoughts.

Mayor: Don't worry, everything will turn out well eventually. I know it. I could even help you, if you want to?

Morgyn: Thanks. I'll think about it.

Mayor: By the way, do you know where Ahriman is? They're not in the pub.

Morgyn: They left The Realm.

Mayor: Forever?

Morgyn: I don't know. They still live in Glimmerbrook, you could check there.

So I was bored. So I made the boys of RealAgeAU in the sims 4.

And the hardest thing was deciding what each would do to contribute to the household while staying in character.

Nightmare gets a free pass because he is a child sim and so can't do anything to help (trust me i tried. he is now just there to be cute with the other four) Horror is obviously now starting a garden and farm because he needs to feed the boys. Cross is in and out of the house doing odd jobs Dust is the handyman and go to person to help baby Nightmare with stuff and school Killer is commiting insurance fraud

I think it is going well.

Most ironic part is that Killer is bringing in most of the money

Jeanette’s time studying under Ethelred was both enlightening and comforting.

Anyway happy first proper art post of the year to me, and happy first proper comic I’ve finished since… uh… July of last year! Wow that is sad! But I think I’m starting to get a bit of my inspiration back. Every year I say “I hope I post more art this year” and then I don’t do that. I don’t think I even have enough for a “year in review” post like I normally try to do. But here’s hoping that this is the one! I’ve been drawing a lot for the last few months but haven’t completed a single piece. You know how it is. Somehow, though, this comic I drew based on a couple of my Sims 4 characters learning magic together is the thing that fixed me. 🤷‍♂️ TL;DR I’m still alive and still drawing, I hope at least one of those things continues!

My favourite Sims house is what I call the Chaos Household, a lot in Strangerville where I parked two trickster roommates, a humanized version of Discord from My Little Pony and Sheogorath from the Elder Scrolls, along with their cat Skooma. I used the Money command to give myself as much funds as I wanted, and went absolutely ham with random wall configurations, corridors that do not lead anywhere, clashing wallpaper colours, and random furniture that does not fit a room’s functionality (like the baseball court with a litterbox in the corner, or the yarn basket in the pool, which is poorly lit rn bc this is also a haunted house). And yeah, they have their own bowling alley, as well as several DJ booths and vending machines scattered throughout the premises.

Ollie) well my family works as fashion designers so I picked up a few tips and tricks how about you follow me to the bathroom and give me your dress and I'll see what I can do with it with some thread and the scissors I think I could do a good job

BUT I actually had a goal in mind for this playsession, and that goal was "get Victor some more potion recipes to play with!" And so, once Moory had been milked and the trash recycled and the laundry moved to the dryer, it was off to the Magic Realm with the help of Victor's Glimmerstone! He summoned Alice and Smiler to join him, and the trio waited at the entrance to the Realm --

While I turned on the "enablefreebuild" cheat and used that to plop down a new Magic Realm HQ! Because the EAxis one is a mess, and there are much better ones on the Gallery. This particular one is the one by LilSimsie, and it is a LOT nicer looking than the standard, as you can see. A proper place for everyone to sleep, more defined rooms without huge amounts of empty space, and a much-cooler looking basement area. I am very pleased with this choice of HQ. I even got the chance to slap some lot traits on it because I was in Free Build mode -- I gave it Chef's Kitchen to increase the quality of the food made here (don't think it'll do anything for potions, but it feels right nonetheless), Peace & Quiet to boost skill gains from reading and make Tense moods fade faster, and Study Spot to give everyone more bonuses from reading stuff. I mean, when tomes are such an important way to learn spells in this game...

However, plopping down a new HQ did mean all the people INSIDE said HQ got shunted out as the new building replaced the old. On the plus side, that meant all the sages were easily accessible to chat to! I had Victor start up a conversation with Morgyn while Smiler did their usual "hi I'm Smiler and now we're friends" routine with Simeon. XD Things went very well with Smiler and Simeon, though Victor and Morgyn had a few rough patches -- I think Morgyn may have pestered Victor for some juice-fizzing tips. You have to catch him in JUST the right mood to ask that, Morgyn! Anyway, Victor wasn't really able to get enough relationship gain with Morgyn to justify asking for a recipe, so I had him start scanning the bookshelves for tomes while Alice wandered off to do a painting of some of the nearby scenery (I mean, the Magic Realm IS a pretty beautiful place), and Smiler went collectible hunting. Results? Two time capsules, resulting in two Dr. F MySims trophies. *shakehead* Uh, game, just one would have been enough!

Elmer in his teen years started off strong, people liked him and dating came easy. Though his first relationship ended in a disaster, she invited him to a school dance and then stood him up, she then yelled at him for not inviting her. She yelled at him for not taking her out on a date on love day because he had detention after he was running late to class. They split apart and that when he met Angelica. Their first date was at a library which they both enjoyed, everything just clicked. Now Elmer is a young adult and they split ways after he moved into glimmer brook to be closer to his roots.

She’s a necromancer who lives deep in the woods of Henford-on-Bagley and uses her home as a halfway-house for resurrected spirits who are trying to figure out their next step, and uses her riches to send them to universities and skill classes. She is such endless fun and writing this is making me want to play again right NOW
