'It's Complicated'-Sonadow Fan Fic-Chapter 1

Chapter 1-The Mean Bean Coffee Co

The black quilled Hedgehog with crimson tips looked up at the entrance to the corner coffee shop, raising an eyebrow curiously while folding his arms against his chest. His white patch of chest fur puffed up with the brisk icy wind—Montana was not known for gentle climate, especially not in the dead of Winter—and he stowed the thought that he was freezing cold deep down inside his mind, letting his child-self seize in pain whilst he took on a dour expression.

“The Mean Bean,” he grunted softly to himself, his hot breath instantly becoming a miniature cloud on the cold breeze. He blinked his bright red eyes, shook his head, and let out a bemused, “Tch!”

“Hello, other Hedgehog,” the more heavy-set Dr. Ivo Robotnik—Sonic often called him Eggman—had somehow snuck up behind the black and crimson quilled creature in question. He dramatically pivoted to block the creature from entering his beloved slice of Americana—as well as his secret lab. “I see you’ve found my quaint establishment in the heart of Green Hills! I trust you—hoofed it—all this way okay?” He swept his white gloves through his comical moustache, getting icicles off its wiry mass, and grinned maniacally, his red snow goggles obscuring his eyes from the Hedgehog before him. “You know—all you Hedgehogs look awfully alike. What’s your name again?” He paused grooming his moustache to fold his arms across his chest, doing his best to mimic the Hedgehog’s pose. “Don’t tell me—wait—it’s something contrived and simplistic, isn’t it? I mean, the red one with those big, meaty paws is called Knuckles, the fox with two tails is called Tails, so you must be—”

“Shadow,” the Hedgehog grunted, rolling his eyes. “And I know who you are. Move aside, Doctor. I’m here to investigate this little…coffee shop…of yours.”

“GUN didn’t make you part of the Health and Wellness Advisory board, did they?” Robotnik spread his arms out wide, lightly tapping his fingers to sections of his palms as he did so in a rapid-fire text. Agent Stone, within the shop, shuttered the blinds and switched out the F- grade placard to an A placard, catching a glimpse of Shadow with fear in his large brown eyes.

“Doctor—who is that?!” Stone typed frantically while shutting down his Robotnik Cosplay Device 2.0, now with an added Sims 4 component.

“I have no idea, Stone,” Robotnik typed back while facing Shadow. “Let’s play nice for now and see where it gets us. You know my order by now, baby.” He smiled even wider at the scowling creature.

“Latte—with steamed Austrian goat milk!” Robotnik heard Stone say, and the lab was now a storefront once again, with warm lighting, a fireplace in one corner, and coffee grinders revving up, crunching down the beans that sat within them loudly.

Shadow sniffed the air. A memory hit him—one where he found a container of Professor Gerald’s prized Arabica coffee beans while he and Maria were playing hide and seek aboard the ARK. He let the memory stay, the cold mountainous town drifting away into a sea of starlight below his air shoe clad feet. Robotnik marveled as he levitated, watching the fire from the boosters instantly melt the snow on the ground.

“Oh ho! Where did you get those? I haven’t seen air shoes since…since…!” Robotnik was about to sink into his own reverie when he broke Shadow’s.

“I must get inside,” Shadow gruffed, and pushed past Robotnik toward the doors. Robotnik’s jaw dropped and he whirled about with a sound mimicking one of his badniks turning on its chassis.

“Eager to try our Mean Beans, I see!” beamed Agent Stone, in his barista outfit. The slender, olive-skinned man with short black hair and a well-groomed beard-and-goatee rushed around the counter to meet Shadow, and to ensure Robotnik’s rage was quelled long enough to develop a customer service façade.

“Coffee,” was all Shadow could mumble, overwhelmed now by the sight of the grinders and state-of-the-art dispensers, in polished stainless steel. The smell of coffee is what made his head spin more than when he performed a homing attack—the rich, heavy, earthy smell that reminded him of home, of the love of his beloved Maria and her comfort. His air shoes hit the tile floor and singed the grout slightly, making Stone inwardly sigh, Oh great. Another space porcupine to clean up after…I hope Ivo knows what’s he’s dealing with this time…I’d…I’d really like for just us to… “Barista…Stone. I’d like to try some of your coffee, please.” Shadow read his crooked nametag, which Robotnik narrowed his eyes at, and then Stone straightened it nervously.

“Absolutely—uh--?” Stone replied as he scuttled back behind the counter, holding the creature’s cold, soul-piercing gaze, waiting for the name. He swallowed hard. This space porcupine…why does he remind me of Ivo in our younger years? Focus, Stone! Focus!

“Shadow,” the softest hint of a smile started to thaw the iciness in his gaze. “Shadow the Hedgehog.”

Stone scribbled on a cup while Robotnik ambled over and took a seat in a booth by the front counter, staring at both of them curiously. Why my fate continues to be tied to these…Hedgehogs…is beyond me. Still, the gems they keep bringing to this world will make for an incredible source of power…and this one. This one will be the one to beat! I wonder…what makes this creature tick? He seemed to be lost in thought with the smell of the coffee—perhaps a loved one? A lover? Maybe both? Who cares? I have to get into his head before he gets into mine! Robotnik thought, all while Stone served him a lovingly etched cup of hot Austrian goat milk latte.

“Would you like a latte? An espresso? If you’re feeling cheeky, maybe a flat white’ll do ya right, mate!” Stone tried to impress Shadow and failed miserably as he returned to the counter of the shop. Shadow just stared at Stone, blinking. Robotnik rolled his eyes and sipped his latte slowly, loudly.

“Stone,” Robotnik’s tone made the other man freeze. Stone looked down at the floor, his eyes wide, his smile fading. He was expecting a rebuke, a sharp retort, a cruel jab at his big heart. Robotnik lifted his chin, and winked. “You did excellent, adding just the right amount of mushroom. Keep it up, and you might get a raise!”

“Yes, Doctor!” Stone felt the spring in his step as he continued to address Shadow. Shadow raised an eyebrow again, staring at them both even more curiously than he stared at the false storefront moments ago. What an odd mating ritual. Humph. Pathetic humans, groveling for attention.

“Mmh,” Shadow thought for a moment. Then, “Can you do me a favor, Barista Stone?”

“Yes, whatever you’d like!” Stone felt his voice crack. Robotnik furrowed his brows at that, and Stone cleared his throat, waiting expectantly while leaning over the counter slightly.

“Put only your finest roast beans in the cup. No water, no espresso, no grinding. Just whole beans.”

“You don’t drink coffee?” Robotnik mumbled aloud. “Fascinating.” What a little weirdo, he thought, finishing his cup.

“Of—of course?” Stone asked Shadow, looking over at Robotnik for clarification. The doctor shrugged and started adding notes into his watch. “Any specific flavor?”

“Hm…” Shadow stood there, thinking, letting the recesses of his memory rise to the surface, like the twisted tendrils of Black Arms aliens, turning his gaze distant. He recalled popping open Gerald’s glass coffee container and eating the beans with his hands, soiling his gloves, struggling to chew them. He read the small white label on the container’s glass surface as he ate. “Ah-ra-bick-uh,” he grunted aloud, phonetically sounding out the word as he did when he was young.

“Dark or light roast?”

“Dark, of course,” Shadow returned from his reverie. Just the way Gerald and Maria liked them…as did I… “Oh, and please include a serving spoon. I don’t want to get my hands dirty.”

“Not yet you don’t!” Robotnik chortled, a glint in his eyes that only Stone could catch.

“What’s that supposed to mean, Doctor?” Shadow asked, genuinely unsure of his double entendre.

“Nothing at all, my fine black and red quilled fellow!” Robotnik grinned, wandering over to Stone and Shadow. He set his goggles on one end of the counter and balanced his weight with his elbows against it. “So. What brings you here tonight? Your…usual den too cold?”

Stone prepped the coffee and listened in on the conversation attentively.

“I’m no mere Hedgehog, Doctor. I thought your grandfather clued you in on that ages ago,” Shadow gruffed in response, avoiding the man’s eye contact.

“Well an alien Hedgehog, at least to us here on Earth, yes,” Robotnik nodded, fidgeting with his moustache. He steepled his fingers beneath his chin, raising an eyebrow at Shadow.

“You know why I am here. I was sent by Gerald and GUN to investigate your establishment,” Shadow gruffed.

“Are you familiar with the other Hedgehog that lives here on Earth?” Robotnik wanted to know, ignoring his statement.

“There’s…there’s another?” Shadow wondered. I thought they were all extinct, wiped out with the Siege of Longclaw! I thought I was the last…!

“Yes, and he’s been…antagonizing…” Robotnik gritted his teeth, “the residents of this town for years, including yours truly. His name…is Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog!” and with Hedgehog! Robotnik shouted angrily, making Stone wince and Shadow’s eyes widen in alarm.

When the echo of his voice died down, Robotnik caught his breath, and he cleared his throat.

“I take it you know of him? I know GUN does…”

Shadow was quiet for a long time. Stone peered at him from behind the counter, blinking slowly.

A blush had risen to Shadow’s cheeks. He tried to force down his feelings, tried to hide the years of longing that welled up in his chest and in the tears he felt moving to the corners of his eyes. He closed them, taking in a few deep breaths, his chest hairs quivering with the attempt to calm down.

Another Hedgehog? A…a chance to have a mate at last? A chance to…be happy?

Then, aloud, softly, “The story goes all Hedgehogs, as you know of us, died out along with the owls years ago. I…I didn’t know…another had…escaped that fate!”

“You see,” Robotnik continued, chewing on a cookie Stone presented to him. He wiped away the crumbs with taps of his fingers, infinitesimally tiny bots cleaning them away from his suit, and started to pace the floor between Stone and Shadow. “I’ve been trying to track the origins of that blue quilled menace for a while now. Alas, I can only pinpoint a comet that orbits close to our solar system once every 50 years.”

“A…a comet?” Shadow felt an internal shudder. An unbidden memory arrived, a roving slimy yellow and red eye, moving listlessly in a black and red skinned alien being, hissing his name after he emerged from his incubator tank…

“It turns out that my grandpapa, as brilliant as he was, had to make a deal with an extraterrestrial devil to keep his business alive. And this devil was involved with these…Hedgehogs…and this comet, too.”

“I am more than a mere Hedgehog, and more than Gerald’s business, Doctor,” Shadow growled, his quills and fur hackles rising with the implication. He pointed a finger at the mustachioed man and continued, “I am the Ultimate Lifeform on this planet! The only hope we have against such…intruders! How dare you insinuate that I am allied with them!”

“Ah, but Sonic is allied with this comet and this devil, it seems!” Robotnik nodded, pausing in his pacing to face Shadow.

“What!” Shadow was taken aback. At that moment, Stone gave him a cup full of the roasted beans.

Shadow chewed on the new information and the dark roasted Arabica beans. He grunted in pleasure, which Stone and Robotnik found oddly arousing, and they stared at him as he ate, enraptured.

“It’s never good,” Shadow continued while swallowing, “to dilute the flavor.” He cleared his throat, noting the shocked expressions of both men.

“Stone,” Robotnik whispered. Stone started to blush and sweat, adjusting his collar.

“Yes Doctor?” Stone wanted to know, unable to take his eyes off Shadow as he dug in another spoonful and ate, rolling his red eyes in bliss.

Robotnik hissed to Stone: “This Hedgehog is not the same as Sonic. Clearly not. He’s got to be some kind of mutant hybrid. I mean, who eats raw coffee beans?”

“I…I honestly don’t know, Doctor. I can’t help but watch him…! I mean, how does he--?!” and Stone let out a gurk! as Robotnik grabbed the man’s necktie below his barista smock and yanked him close.

“The way he looked when I mentioned our blue rat…do you think there’s a possibility, an inkling that he could be…attracted to Sonic?”

“I thought they were related!”

“No, you buffoon! I was using that information as a decoy, to set him up into thinking that somehow, someway, they might be distantly related. Obviously not direct, Shadow was supposedly a project my grandpapa kept secret from the government for decades! But is this Shadow…my Shadow? Catch my drift?” Robotnik set Stone down, who gasped for air gratefully.

“I…I think so, Doctor…” Stone swallowed, recovering and adjusting his tie, straightening his barista smock.

“This coffee…is…most…excellent,” Shadow proclaimed, nearly finished with his cup. His quills began to stand on end and he started to rev up his air shoes instinctively. “I will need to go on a run soon to burn it all off. So tell me, Doctor and Barista Stone…is this Sonic…am I…somehow involved with this…comet? Is Sonic allied with the ones known to me as the Black Arms? Did he betray us, betray…me?”

The Black Arms? Could that be the devil alien race my grandpapa knows?! Robotnik leaned in even closer to Stone, his voice an imperceptible whisper that made the latter’s neck hair stand on end: “He’s into him, Stone. Hook, line and sinker.”

Then, pulling away and ambling toward Shadow: “This Sonic…ever since he came here, he’s been nothing but trouble toward me and Stone here. He’s nearly destroyed this town with his buddy cop daddy, and last I checked, he has the Chaos Emeralds.”

“The Chaos Emeralds?” Shadow wanted to know. He coughed slightly, the coarse beans sticking to his throat. Then, Robotnik continued:

“We both know the kind of power he has with those—he could be some kind of terrorist, out to conquer the world for Hedgehog kind! So we’ve been trying to get the Emeralds back—”

“Why?” Shadow wondered, tossing his cup in the trash and giving the spoon back to Stone, who grimaced in disgust—it was covered in his saliva, and teeth marks made divots into it. “Doctor, there’s no need to safeguard the Emeralds for GUN. That’s my job, last I checked.”

Robotnik sneered and then put on a wide fake smile. “I’m the smartest man on this planet. Well, aside from Stone. And I know what’s at stake here, Shadow. I know what that power means, in the wrong hands. Shouldn’t I—I mean, shouldn’t we, as humans that are the stewards of this blue planet—do the responsible thing, and prevent chaos from reigning supreme over this world? Isn’t that what Maria wanted?”

Maria! Shadow’s heart nearly stopped on hearing her name. His angel, the blonde human girl with blue eyes deeper than the ocean floor; the one who, despite being sickly, loved him unconditionally. The one who sent him to Earth 50 years ago…the one whose name once again brought him back to life.

Shadow’s rage began to rise on thinking of his loss, and he scrunched up his nose in a deep scowl.

“A Hedgehog like Sonic cannot be captured. Only bested, Doctor,” Shadow tsked. His eyes glowed red like coals on an open flame, and energy started to surge through his quills, turning them neon orange. The lights in the Mean Bean began to dim and flicker as Shadow’s energy started to build. Shadow’s limiter rings tightened on his wrists and ankles, making him wince for a split second.

Robotnik noted the rings and tapped on his watch, taking photos of them silently. Then, “Race that blue rat to the ends of the Earth if you have to, Shadow. I want you to fulfill my grandpapa’s—no, Maria’s!—promise. You say you’re here to protect mankind? Prove it, and bring that Hedgehog back to me, so I can…deal with him…accordingly.”

Then, he snarled, “Sonic will be mine, Doctor. I will make sure of it, because I am the Ultimate Life!”

Before Robotnik could give a single quip in response, Shadow was gone, blasting out the doors of the Mean Bean Coffee Shop in the dead of night, his quills and air shoes the only brief light before total darkness surrounded the streets of the mountain town.

INZOI - Love in limbo - Challenge GEN 1

GEN 1 - GEN 2 and 3 coming soon

💫Episode 1: "New city, New me"

🎭The setup (CAS):

Your zoi is moving to the city to start over after a mysterious incident. Choose to live in either Dowon or Bliss Bay.

Choose one aspiration that reflects what they want from this fresh start (career, love, freedom etc.)

Give them two contrasting outfits:

One for who they pretend to be (polished, confident, city-ready)

One for who they really are (vulnerable, quirky, dramatic, cozy etc.)

📸In-game task:

Take a photo of your zoi arriving at their new home.

Build a small starterhome, worth 20.000M. The remaining M can not be used until episode 3.

🏙Episode 2: "This Wasn`t the Plan"

Your zoi starts a job, but something throws them off.

💔They fall in love with someone completely wrong for them.

"Wrong person, right vibe?"

The setup:

Your zoi is trying to focus on work, dreams, and fresh starts...but then they meet them. The person who throws everything off.

Rules:

This love interest must oppose your zoi`s personality or goals in some way. For example: your zoi is tidy - the love interest is messy and chaotic. Your zoi is career-focused - the love interest is a flirty drifter. Your zoi wants kids - the love interest says "no thanks".

They can be a coworker, neighbor, customer, or even an NPC they meet randomly. The more inconvenient, the better.

🎯Challenge objectives:

🌪1. Build the tension

Interact daily until there is at least a mutual crush

Have a negative conversation (argument, disagreement, jealousy, awkward moment)

💬2. Keep it a secret

Your zoi and their love interest can only meet up in your or their home, or at evenings in the park.

In-game task:

Create a “secret date spot” somewhere on the map (a hidden lot or cozy room). Decorate it like a hideout. Take a photo of you together to hang on the wall

🎭"This can`t work"

Your Zoi must:

Try to break things off at least once.

Experience a sad or uncomfortable moment because of this love interest (e.g., they flirt with someone else, bail on plans, or say the wrong thing).

🎬Trigger a life moment after that:

Give your Sim a “self-care day” (yoga, new outfit, journaling).

Build something to represent their inner conflict (a painting, a messy room etc.)

🍼 EPISODE 3: "Now It's Real"

Your Zoi, despite all the drama, ends up having a child with the love interest. This changes everything.

🎯 Challenge Objectives:

👶 Have the Baby

The child must be from the original love interest.

Take a family picture— the vibes/poses should feel different (uncertain, bittersweet, dramatic).

💔 The Break Point Soon after the child is born, the relationship falls apart for good.

✅ In-game:

Break up or divorce officially.

One Zoi moves out

Take a photo of the breakup moment or aftermath.

🧼 Reset Your Life Your Zoi enters their "Clean Slate Era":

Move to a smaller or cozier home.

Get rid of at least 3 things that remind you of your ex.

Add 3 new things that represent your new identity (plants, mood lighting, fresh wardrobe, etc).

💪 EPISODE 4: "Me, Myself & Gym"

This is the redemption arc. Your Zoi’s building a new life and working on themselves.

🎯 Challenge Objectives:

🏋️‍♀️ Level Up

Get Fitness to Level 10 or max out one skill (music, art, cooking, etc).

Create a “me zone” at home: gym corner, yoga deck, painting room, gaming den—whatever feels like you.

🚗 Get the Car, Symbol of Freedom

Save up and buy a car.

Take a “freedom photo”: your Zoi standing by the car, smiling or leaving the house confidently.

🎨 Optional:

Do a solo hobby photoshoot (your Zoi with their painting, lifting weights, in the mirror looking fire).

👶 Parenting goals:

Bond with the child regularly.

Build a “parent & child” space at home (reading nook, play corner, shared project, etc).

Have a family picture together one the wall

💘 EPISODE 5: “Someone Unexpected”

Your Zoi meets someone new—but this time, it’s easy. No secrets, no games. Just respect and vibes.

🎯 Challenge Objectives:

💌 Meet the New Love Interest

They must be opposite of your ex. (e.g., calm where the ex was chaotic, loyal where the ex was messy.)

Get to Friendship 50% before Romance.

Go on at least two dates before the first kiss.

Let them meet your child early on. If the child dislikes them—your Zoi has to take it slow.

💍 Optional:

Build a romantic rooftop, garden café, or city-view balcony for your new dates.

🏁 FINAL GOAL: “The Life You Built”

Your Zoi has made it through heartbreak, single parenting, personal growth, and found love again—but on their terms.

🎯 Endgame Checklist:

✅ Memory board with:

A photo from each life phase (toxic love, the baby, solo era, hobby wins, new love).

✅ House includes:

A dedicated space for your Zoi’s hobby.

A safe, creative or playful space for your child.

A shared space that reflects the new relationship (romantic, calm, respectful).

✅ Personal:

One maxed-out skill.

One personal “trophy” or decoration that symbolizes everything they’ve been through (e.g., a framed photo of family, guitar, car keys, etc).

🎭💞✨🖤GEN 2 AND 3 IS COMING SOON WITH ALL THE DRAMA AND BUILDING UP THEIR NEW LIFE

hello I'm bored but happy so here are sum 'bloopers' and outtakes from scs simspost bc I feel like showing you

childsim body distortion (bug after recent patch. very functional game) got to sebas and I very nearly cried. here are some more pics I took for the purpose of complaining about it online

glitch was fixed easily by making him transgender in cas then detransitioning him again. a win

turned bloom adjustment up too high for rafa and emiliano💔

kasia's horse took a shit and I had to completely redo poses. never work with animals or kids

two of my many accidental ingame screenshots. here you can see the platform used for final shay shot and the błyskawica/kasia shot as well as the light source used for that shot, and shay being 'lifted' into goofy position. all needs are in the green I'm not going to risk them starving to death mid shoot. again

alternative for my nosebleed shot. didn't get used bc I didn't like the hair or expression for it but still lowkey....

alternative kasiashay shot which I didn't like the colours or framing of and also the pose for the one I used is just so much better. still like this one tho tbh

alternative shay end shot. halo through chest this time but I decided against it because I wanted full side profile silhouette and headhalo. the shot is v special to me also

honestly I loved making the post so so so much even if it did cause a few grey hairs to appear and it was so fun and I am so happy w how it turned out love u lots

Ruby (Gen 4) & Fae (Gen 5)

Ruby, our 4th generation heir. Technically, her occult does not exist in sims - aside from the Vampire aspect. So we had to really play through her generation and build up some story line to incorporate her generation - probably the most dramatic generation with all life drama we had to include. lol! I also had probably done a lot of pose, change in CAS on her generation and added few vampire mods that would match her occult. There was a succubus mod available but didn’t add it, coz my game is already lagging with all the mods I have. I think the Actress career also fits her very well. She’s probably my most fit sim ever (look at those cuts!). Anyways, I think on another universe, she will be like one those perfect parents, like what Mavis did. Fae, is one my interesting sim - coz I have played through genetics to get her. It wasn't really my intention for her to inherit his father's colors - but I think it really turned up really good!

Get ready because today I have something beefy for you all- it’s an episode -to- episode NekoRenge comparison ! I put this together months ago when rewatching the series. The goal of this was taking note of interesting parallels. Enjoy!

Important note: by “Scene A, Scene B”, i was mainly just counting the scenes in which the characters in question appeared (Renge, Nekozawa). There are parts of the episodes that are not present in these breakdowns because they do not showcase the characters or because they do not offer the parallel information I was seeking out. Hope this makes sense!

EP 4 ATTACK OF THE LADY MANAGER

Scene A (Renge)

We first see her shrouded in darkness with only the light of her screens. Clearly comfortable with the dark, maybe even used to it.

Comfortable being alone, stays in her room in the dark, door closed, playing games.

Is not entirely a loud and dramatic person as seen by her interactions in this first scene.

Is interested in a “prince charming” (but NOT a “phony” tamaki type [see later])

Scene B (Renge)

Has a deep despise for ingenuine or “phony” people, especially in regards to “princely” characters. (Take a drink whenever you read ‘prince’ or ‘princely’ in this breakdown lol)

Wants someone who does not “spread their love around so easily”- not a naturally flirty type

Against narcissists and commoners (im compiling all related information so i guess i’ll mention it)

Again, shes looking for her “one and only prince charming”…

Scene C (Renge)

Wants a “love at first sight”

Her favorite dating sim character adores flowers when he thinks no one else is looking and (“sweet”ly) reaches out to a (poor little) injured kitten (remember this)

Wants a “gentleman who’s kind to everyone but doesnt ask for anything in return” and “likes solitude but in fact sometimes gets lonely”

Likes that kyoya manages their club and wants to help advertise at first

Scene D (Renge)

Finds it essential that the hosts all have a “dark” side otherwise they are “lukewarm” and annoy her

“Girls” are vulnerable to “handsome young men that are troubled”

When Tamaki poses dramatically she really loves it (“would be even more effective if you were standing in the rain!”)

Scene E (Renge)

Appreciates haruhi stepping in the way and protecting her

Scene F (Renge)

“It was so chivalrous of you to risk your life to protect me” (i wonder if we will see anyone else perform any self-sacrificial moves to protect someone they love)

EP 11 BIG BROTHER IS A PRINCE

Scene A (Kirimi)

Nekozawa is immediately established as a “strong, handsome prince”, chivalrous, who would “defeat a monster”.

Scene B (Nekozawa)

Nekozawa emerges dramatically and inexplicably from nowhere in Music Room 3

Caring towards his sister “all i want is for my sister to be happy. Make sure she gets the love she deserves!”, always trying to reach out to her

Evil iconic laughter

Loves cats!

Unintentionally scares people away (i.e. kirimi)

Genuine and in touch with his emotions

CONSTANT mentions of nekozawa as a “prince”

Scene A (Renge)

Renge emerges dramatically and inexplicably from nowhere in Music Room 3

Somehow everyone’s a phony but when she starts feeding Nekozawa scripts its okay (i know she scripts the hosts too but i just think her hypocrisy is funny)

They both have their strong passions tbh

The lines she is giving him are as mentioned questionable for his sister. Then who are they for? Did she get carried away? At the bare minimum, they relate back to her obsessive gaming but even still in that case there is the implication that it would or could be lines that she likes?

He cowers and just apologizes when she goes medusa mode

Coaching him on being “princely”…

“Its okay to have a dark side, “some girls” like that”. “Cute, brooding male characters always go over well” This by itself but also the illustrations portray a brunette with a big hair bow fawning over the nekozawa stand-in (not to mention the parallels to uki doki memorial with the cat image AND the way shes reacted to the dark sides of the host club boys in ep 4)

She’s the only person who he’s shown this side when up against and seems intimidated by

Shes encouraging him…….. in her own way..

“Even Edgar was able to face the cross once he built up his courage” “but i thought you rejected the occult” “occult fiction is good, occult fashion is not” COME ON. literally. They have common interests. This is a slam dunk for me

“Youre the one who’s always wearing weird cosplay” -hikaru (direct comparison between her cosplays and his outfits of choice. IM not even having to make these comparisons the show is doing it for me)

Seems to already be romanticizing him in some regard if the “eyes of your heart” is any indication (albeit with some aggression because she’s Renge)

Shots where the two are positioned with a chalkboard heart between them (worth at least mentioning!)

She silently watches and encourages him, seems a little proud of or amazed by his bravery?

Her eyes are shining with what seems to be actual pride when he shines the flashlight

He isnt afraid to be genuine, and cares passionately

Leaps out the window to save his sister even forgetting his cloak

Renge’s pleased (she’s one of the most genuinely excited of the group to see him conquer his fear and come to his sister’s rescue- twins are sarcastic)

Scene C (Kirimi)

“I have a princely big brother who will fight to protect me, even if it means dashing out into the sunlight, the one thing he fears most of all.”

Ok, I think I’ve color coded most of the key parallel stuff! Some of this… reaches more than others, but I think when you start looking at it this way it looks more and more solid. I was going to go through the whole series episode by episode with this sort of analysis in regards to the ship but honestly these are some of the most key episodes. I think if i were to look into any others, my goals would be to look into Haruhi in Wonderland and Until the Day it Becomes a Pumpkin, because off the top of my head those are the last ones with any interactions.

The Intro : Hello & Welcome to my blog, this new blog is a sims blog I hope and pray isn't a one time thing and causes me to end it's lifespan because my game crashes sometimes or rarely.

But thankfully I've been recently playing the sins 2 on my pc through a downloaded Ultimate Collection version, I can totally see the reason why ppl and true sims players/fans say Sims 2 is the most fun and fan-favorite of the franchise!

But why pray tell is it better and what was my experience playing it comparing it my other old sims game I love equally as 2 like The Sims 3 then let's find out..

Pt 1 : "The Lore"

"So The Sims 2 was released back in 2007 and I was only 6 during that year, and I sadly never gotten to discover the sims since I guess I was always out with my family, or had school or stupid homework to do. But now cut to 25 years(Sims Franchise) and for myself 23 years later(my current age as a 2000s-Gen Z person) and I've discovered this all mighty and amazing lore ridden and obsessively fun af game!"

"Now my first time playing, Sims 2 I was really impressed by just how cool it is, the lore for each base game world but mainly I'll pick 2 for this post on this blog : Pleasantview & Strangetown are very very fun. But if I had to chose it would be most definitely strangetown"

Anyways back to the lore, the lore for each household or sim families in this game entry is insanely good, like movie quality or TV series good it's too damn obsessive for my melo-dramatic and crazy lore loving self as a writer of my own stories!

For Pleasantview it's about 25 years later, the town had changed and mainly there's a few families that got cool and funny lore to them like the pleasant family, the oldie family(yes that's literary their family name and their related to the former family) and my personal favorite The Goths! I love their lore, I think by now if you told anyone who has never played the sims or has as a true die hard fan that hates and despises EA as a greedy lame as f*ck company with only care about making the mediocre sims 4 as a game entry then you'll somewhat know the goth family and the missing Bella Goth lore or just plain a noob to it all.

But basically Mortimer is a older man who's grieving over his missing wife Bella whom the latter was abducted by aliens one night and never came back, and now with Cassandra Goth his daughter whom was left I guess insane and heartbroken by Don Lonthario who left her at the altar during their wedding day at their house! And is the playboy of the town, and with little Alexander Goth still way too young to understand his family is broken apart by their mother's disappearance. It's absolutely amazing how the lore for this family is set up but let's get to the real and most fun family I've been playing a bunch, in a small deserted town called Strangetown!

*Family Drama and Player Choice interactions*

"The Drama in each town of the sims 2 is really fun and there's so many interactions I've never thought they had even ones unlocked with mods that are just *chefs kiss* like there's a cute tuck in to bed one, or when your sims are dating(sims 4 wishes it could have these cute things without the use of mods) your sims could sit down and you'll see little icons i.e a chair icon of which interactions your sim couple could do, and once fully unlocked you can use those interactions anytime! That's really freaking cool to me and it's all in base game and you will need every pack so thankfully I'm over the moon about interactions like couple dates, weddings and other things(only thing is there's no holidays only items that let your sims celebrate those holidays but thankfully there's a few holiday or anniversary mods I have in my game which I'm super blessed my computer didn't blow up at all while having them and it didn't cause my game to crash)

Anyways, other than those kind of interactions there's modded ones, I loved the creator squinge who's mods are super fun, there's poses but their called pose boxes? Which I think that's a neat name for them where of course you can use your sims to pose them if your a storyteller like me, tbh I like just to do a click and pause routine of a interaction with my sims for good takes!

And with storytelling there's a adorable book/diary where you can write plenty stories about the course of your sim familys lives and more it's super underrated feature that i wish more sims games had(looking at you sims 4, ugh you disgust me)

*The Characters*

"Each and Every Character in the sims 2 is so damn interesting, and fun to play with even making your own in CAS but you sadly can only use cas once in the create a family box on the bottom left corner of when opening any world you choose and after that you can't do it again but if your a mods player that plays plenty mods to customize and make the most average sims in base game default looks get tha✨️ glow up then your one of the luckiest people ever and I love you but if you like the base game stuff you can use that's fine too!

But however there's also the actual characters themselves and each one I love in Strangetown the most just because of how edgy, dark, sad, mysterious and overall well strange it is. There's about 6 families and yet I've only played one which is the inter-galatic, inter-racial family of The Smith Family!

The Smith Family is the most fun I've ever had with in my game, and I love they are somewhat parodying that classic "American Dream Suburbian Family" from the 40s and 50s only difference is one is a alien, one of the children are a half alien-human breed. But the family all are very sweet and I've portrayed them as a happy "normal" loving family that suffers tragedy as the rest of strangetown did.

*In my gameplay, The Smiths aren't doing their best they went through a lot together as a family but now with a few deaths that happened to siblings Johnny Smith & his sister Jill Smith they were very distant. Pollination Tech #9 Smith or just called P9 as a definitive needed name change and his wife Jenny Smith both tragically died while swimming in their pool at their elder stages of their lives they both died together drowning to their untimely deaths*

*After the death of both of their parents, Jill moved on and kept in touch with her older brother but it wasn't just them suffering but their friends of the Grunt Household with Tank, Ripp and Buck Grunt all suddenly going through the recent loss of their only living parent, their dear father General Buzz Grunt, with Tank being head de facto of the Household and taking care of his younger brothers*

"So Now it's currently the 2nd generation of Strangetown being the Kids I use for the storytelling. The Smiths & The Grunts.

The Smiths Family(Gen 2 Lives, YA to A lifestyles)

-P9 and Jenny are Deceased aswell as their youngest daughter dying before them in a satellite crashing on her.

-Jill Smith(new last name after marrying Ava Cavandara being now Jill Danielle Smith Cavandara and will soon have a baby boy or girl in the future as wives.

-Johnny Smith(still single and trying to get back with Ripp Grunt), is currently at Canyon Cactus University(a custom hood college I added into my game!), is trying to find a major that fits him so he can maturely graduate and not cheat in slightest aswell as get Ripp to be his college roommate.

The Grunt Family

-Lyla Grunt(Buzz's late wife, their 3 sons biological mother been deceased)

-Buzz Grunt himself is next nearing death in the face with a strong willed pride to his 3 boys he's raised as a "not so great" father.

-Tank still resides at the house, along with his Dad Buzz & his younger middle brother Ripp Grunt while the youngest brother Buck Grunt is currently in the same college as Ripp's ex boyfriend/past fling that's trying to reconnect with him.

-Ripp still lives at the big house with his father Buzz and older brother Tank. Currently going through a breakup phase with Johnny, wanting to try and talk things out while he's in CCU. His younger brother Buck as a small opportunity to getting him to talk to him while so far away from his old home.

-Buck is in ccu with Johnny Smith, he used to love Cassie and planned a date with her but now their gone and has been lonely and depressed ever since. Is still loving to his brothers and dad, misses them and unaware of what majors he's wanting to try out at college.. and knows his brother ripp is begging to hear Johnny's voice again and plans on helping him while rookies with the young alien male.

And that's the story for both families so far, Im focusing on Johnny's side for now with trying to get him and Buck to get along, become best friends and with Johnny calling Ripp as a way to try and get back together with his past lover with Ophelia Nigmos now married to Pascal Curious!.
