I used these in my NOLA 1132 Rue Royale gameplay way back in 2022, and never got around to sharing them, oops.

IIRC the Chinoiserie Wallpapers are non-recolorable, but come in 2 variations of normal & albino peacocks.

I forgot what I changed about the Master Suites SP Fireplace. Probably the RGBY channels. Plus it's basegame compatible now.

And ofc you can see the Herringbone patterns, which I love using on floors. Has 3 RBG channels. Found under Wood.

Random CC I've been using:

I separated & retextured AikeaGuinea's Sordid Cassette Tapes, and made them stackable. IDER which category they're in--use LazyDuchess' Search Mod like god intended!

"There's a GOBLET on the table!" No worries, it's only decorative & fully recolorable--the "blood" inside is fake. (In that gif you can obvs see the Gramsims Feathers as ACC--tuxedo not included, sorry. Found under Bracelets, Everyday - Outerwear, fully recolorable. And you can also see Lorandia's Rings Male Right, which I redid to only keep 4 of the 8 original rings.)

The Clapperboard comes in 2 non-recolorable variations.

The decor Vinyl Record is fully recolorable and stackable (variations come with and without the Vampire Lestat VL logo).

I made Simsimi's Kimono ACC sheer (& unisex). Found under Necklaces, fit/fat morphs, Everyday - Outerwear, fully recolorable.

The Grue SilkySunflower Mashup Hair is a frankenmesh of Grue's Sunflower hair and Grue's Silk hair. IIRC, uses the same recolor channels. Everyday - Outerwear, Teen - AF, etc etc. I redid the Peggyzone Bag ACC cuz the original wasn't showing up in my game. Recolorable, found under Bracelets, Everyday - Outerwear, blahblah.

I made the Edible Raw Fish tuning mod for 3 reasons:

Not ALL raw fish are edible for werewolves (inc. crocodiles)--thanks a lot, EA

I needed my loup-garou/Swamp!Lestat to be able to actually eat the crocodiles on my bayou lot

OF COURSE I needed a way for Saint Louis to gulp down fish instead of killing sims (especially in my IWTV Mersim AU)

Naturally, for raw fish to fill the Vampire Thirst need, my mod REQUIRES Nona's Custom Food Script at MTS.

I made yet another EA book texture default replacement, this time with EA Book Overrides for IWTV. Browse here for the in-game swatches.

I dont know why but ive been really into doing landscaping in sims lately

this is the only part of this house thats fully done. i moved a sim in so i could use the TOOL mod so the plants wouldnt be floating on the hill and to smush the rocks into the steeper parts a bit better and THEN i found a bunch of debug planters and thought it would be cool if THOSE were set in ground and it became a whole thing

unfortunately debug items cant be rotated with the tool mod so i just had to lower them into the ground until all parts were touching the ground in some way but oh well. it looks fine so thats all that matters tho i did notice a few of the plants that i missed that are still floating. you may be able to see them in one of the pictures lol

the balconies are also both done but i didnt include pictures of them....mostly cuz i forgot.

i realized after i started taking screenshots that i forgot to stick some windows on the first floor of the side of the house that the greenhouse is on. the kitchen is gonna be in that area and i was waiting til after i got that laid out before adding windows but i meant to add some temporary ones for the screenshots and got distracted by the balconies.....which you cant even really see in the screenshots lmao

Pest Control by Twinsimming 🐞

Sims with dirty homes now run the risk of roaches spawning around their lot, similar to The Sims 2.

This is a script mod that can be placed in your Packages folder. It was built and tested on 1.69 but should work fine on 1.67.

Roaches

Once a day the number of dirty objects on your sim's home lot will be counted, and if the Dirty Threshold is met or exceeded, roaches have a chance of spawning.

There are three thresholds: Dirty, Filthy, and Vile. The dirtier the lot is, the more likely roaches are to spawn and in greater numbers.

Dirty Threshold = 5 dirty objects, 10% spawn chance (2 to 4 roach spawners)

Filthy Threshold = 10 dirty objects, 20% spawn chance (4 to 6 roach spawners)

Vile Threshold = 15 dirty objects, 30% spawn chance (6 to 8 roach spawners)

All sims in the active household will get the new Vermin custom moodlet that lasts 12 hours and subtracts -15, -20, or -25 points from your sim's mood depending on the threshold the lot meets.

Roaches spawning also carries a 10% chance of a sim getting sick (like TS2).

Vermin: Given when roaches spawn on a sim’s home lot, lasts 12 hours, -15. -20, or -25 mood (inspired by TS2 memory)

Tuning

All of the tunable values can be found on the mod download page under the header “Tuning”.

Conflicts & Known Issues

Depending on the terrain paint, roaches may be harder to see. To find any roach spawners you may have missed:

Enter build/buy mode.

Enable buydebug cheat.

Look for any white boxes on your lot. Those are the roach spawners.

Enter live mode.

Stomp on the roaches.

Success!

This is a new script mod so there shouldn’t be any conflicts.

It's time to get nostalgic.

With this update of my Sims (2000) world, you can revisit every lot and every household from the Sims 1 in an open world experience in the Sims 3! This addition adds the Magic Town and Vacation Island area's, making this a complete Sims 1 world, that includes every Sims 1 neighborhood.

I apologize for the long delay in releases this update for this Sims 3 world. My real life has gotten very hectic, so it's been hard to make time for this project. I hope it was worth the wait and that you'll enjoy reliving the Sims 1 in this Sims 3 world.

This world was made with every Sims 3 expansion pack (except for Into The Future), in addition the the High End Loft and Town Life stuff packs. You can install the world even if you do not own all of these packs. But the save file (which includes all of the premade sims, ghosts and some fixes) can only be played if you have all of these packs installed.

To everyone who has installed and played the previous version of my Sims (2000) world: to install this version, you'll need to uninstall the old one. If you have an active save file with the previous (1st) version of this world, please backup any households and builds you want to save to your library. Because that save file will probably become unplayable after installing the updated world file.

I have one little request… If you know any other long time simmers, please share this project with them. I would love it if as many people as possible get a chance to enjoy this nostalgic experience <3

Also, if you enjoy setting up high quality screenshots, I'd love to see them and use them to promote this world.

Simynthos - (almost) cc-free

With all testing done I am happy to share with you the (almost) cc-free version of Simynthos today! I was actually surprised by how quickly it could be transformed, and I have to say I'm very happy with how it turned out!

For this version I removed all decorative cc. The only cc you now need for full functionality are the rabbit hole rugs. The lots are so small, there wouldn't have been nearly enough room for the in game rabbit holes. The rabbit hole rugs can be downloaded here.

I still recommend using the performance mods from the original post here, just to make things a little more smooth and enjoyable during gameplay. But they are not strictly necessary. You could also go completely vanilla (more on that below).

There are a couple of things to note:

Some of the double beds are placed against a wall and therefore only one sim can sleep in them now. You can replace them with the one sided beds for two sims, the ones I used in the original version, if you like. The mattresses by sketchbook pixels can be found here, and some nice custom bed frames from @aroundthesims can be found here.

I did make use of @omedapixel's S3DT (Sims 3 Decorator Tool) in two or three places, just to place decorative items on surfaces where they cannot be placed in a vanilla game. You do NOT need the mod for these items to stay in place, as long as you don't move them when redecorating. Then they may slip back into normal mode and you will only be able to place them back with the mod. But it's only in a couple of places, so even if that happens, it will not have a significant impact on your game.

Replacing some of the cc did result in some interactive items not being usable at first, but I hope I caught all of those cases during the (quite extensively 😉) play-testing. So now all interactive items should be usable. If you find any place where an item can't be reached by the sims, please notify me and I will update the world.

How does it run?

I have tested this version of Simynthos in two scenarios: With the routing optimization mods I recommended for the original version (that's the save all the screenshots are from 😉), but also in a completely vanilla game, playing just a small family with one child, and it actually ran pretty well on my gaming laptop, even without any routing improvement mods (my game is optimized though)! If you're going completely vanilla, it may get a bit annoying in some places though, with sims not being able to pass each other, and toddlers not being able to be put down on the ground due to lack of space. But if you do not want to use any mods at all, it would probably still be playable with a small household that doesn't host huge parties 😉

K-202 GROUNDY MOD MAJOR UPDATE 2023

Hello everyone :)

As the last expansion is out for around a week now, we have updated from the ground the k-202 Groundy Mod ...

Maxis made some real changes inside its painting terrains since 2022 and an update was a long time due ! That's why we called it a Major Update :)

missing base ones have been added AND updated

the Get Famous terrains have been removed by Maxis so we did

the Cottage Living ones are completed

the only one terrain paint from Wedding World has been added

the Chestnut Ridge ones have been added

Most of them are Maxis match but a few are really different :) Everything has been updated until for Rent Expansion but Tomarang has no terrain paint ...

The ones which have terrain paints are : Willow Creek and Oasis Spring ( base game ) - Granite Falls - Windenburg - Evergreen Harbour - Sulani - Chestnut Ridge - Tartosa - Henford-on-Bagley

For those who do not know what is the k-202 Groundy Mod, they are terrain paints, the ones used by Maxis for the terrains you may modify AND all your inside lot terrains :) They are different from the k-505 terrains ( which cover the worlds ) ... And speaking about the k-505 : WE MADE A SILENT UPDATE OF THE K-505 BASEGAME ONLY IN ORDER TO REMOVE THE DUPLICATES AND TO BE FULL OK WITH THIS K-202 UPDATE !

Surprise! More stuff! This time, it is a set of props and terrain paints I made for a sims story I've been working on. It's "part 1" because there's just a handful more of items I need to make for the story, but I'm not quite there yet.

This is pretty niche, I know, but I thought I'd share anyway.

NOTES:

Everything is BGC! You do not need to access the debug menu to get to these.

29 items-- 20 big chunks of ice, 6 icy/snowy terrain paints, and 3 tundra terrain paints.

All the ice is recolored bits from EA's debug. Nothing should be more than a few thousand polys, so as long as you don't place like 29738 of these on a lot at once, you should be perfectly fine. (Most of them are less than 500 verts/polys, it's the really big ones that get up to 3k and there are only a few.)

LODs, norm/spec maps, shadows, included.

For storytelling, I highly recommend using the debug menu to access other EA rocks and world items.

I also recommend using TOOL (https://www.curseforge.com/sims4/mods/t-o-o-l) by TwistedMexi for off-lot decoration.

Finally, for weather cheats, I recommend using MCCC (https://deaderpool-mccc.com/downloads.html) to change the season and weather events.

my world is finally comin together !! loooong post incoming!! some info: I use Belladonna Cove (in case u want it idk :P) because I loved Sims 2 Apartment Life sm omg! it was literally my childhood, and that world was my fave. It had the BEST vibes, and I knew I needed a flat world with lots of streets and a good layout. She was the one! I did try to use tons of other worlds. The first one I obviously tried to redo was Bridgeport, but it would always crash on me. My PC also crashes when I try to use Boroughsburg ;-;. So, I had to just do it myself. BUT I do use tons of Boroughsburg items. Without that stuff, I couldn’t even be doing this, so thanks to all the CC creators who made those items and everything. It really is a game changer! I guess my world is just v loosely based off of downtown Brooklyn & places like Bayridge. Prospect Park n Bushwick idrk LOL i said LOOSELY **keep note that i have lots of unfinished builds and tons of terrain paint i need to update! i suck at completely finishing one build i kinda go back n forth between them.

I've got the Sims 3 Create a World bug - finally! Sorry for not working on this world in so long but as I had previously posted, I've had medical issues which I won't go into as of right now but will later, perhaps.

I started up my CaW a week or two ago and wouldn't you know it...I could not use the edit in game feature. Took me quite awhile to figure out a fix and low and behold I found something that worked for me. Found here - https://modthesims.info/showthread.php?p=3622222

If you are having trouble with EIG in CaW try this method but remember to close out Create a World before using. Just go to your user data in the CaW files and drag and drop your .world file onto the batch file. Works like a charm!

Anyway, I pretty much forgot how to use CaW so I just started out with something simple. I decorated around the canal/river with some trees and plants and of course the tedious terrain painting, ugh. I also fooled around with a couple lots in my now working EIG. I made the school a bit taller in the middle area and added a pool to the windmill lot that I think will make a terrific resort! Today I even tried to work on the waterfall - attempted to...not sure about it yet. It's very tall.

So anyway, I'm trying to keep inspired to continue on with this. Reading up on all the Sims shenanigans here on Tumblr helps. Love all your creations! Sorry I don't have more pics to share but as I said I'm having to relearn everything so it's kind of a slow process. I'm sure I'll get it down before long.

The Banyan (3t2 Remake - Original Lot by Copper_Penny)

What's this, I finished a lot? And am uploading it?! That's right, and it is a remake of a wonderful TS3 Mid-Century home made by Copper_Penny at MTS. I loved the original and wanted to test out one-step and two-step foundations, so that's how this came to be!

This mid-century home is low and L-shaped, with the garage on the right side of the house and the bedrooms and full bath making up their own wing on the left. From the foyer you have immediate access to the kitchen, half bath, family room, or dining room. The family room has a vaulted ceiling and lovely brick chimney, which makes it feel much larger than it really is. A stairwell takes you downstairs to the finished den and another bathroom. Go snag Lamare's new Simple Laundry items to complete the unfinished laundry room!

Aside from general 3t2 adaptation, the back is what I changed the most, expanding the lot by 10 tiles to add more usable space. The deck leads to a small patio, a soccer net, set of swings, telescope, camp fire, and a couple orchard trees. I went through a few iterations of the back and never loved any of them, but there are plenty of items to keep your sims busy if you don't want to make your own changes. And don't forget about the concealed garden plot out front!

I promised I'd upload both a CC-heavy and a CC-lite version the other day, but that ended up feeling way too laborious (and who wants to download a 20MB lot?). The 3t2 terrain paint, two walls, and two windows are essential to the look. You can surely go without the three buy mode items listed above if you choose.
