The girl with the guitar

As she plays the guitar

Very beautifully

The tune escapes the instrument very cheerfully

The note is low-pitched

Filled with sweetness

Which lifts her mood

From anger to Happiness

She sings along the tune

Her voice so soothing

And that's when she finds

Her head and feet swinging

The note now changes to high

She runs out in garden

And looks up at the sky

Only to find herself allured

She finds birds chirping

Sun brightly shining

Butterflies swiftly flying

And is surprised to see

Herself smiling

A warmth grin spreads

Oh her face

As the nature joins along her song with the same pace

Warmth,hope,pleasure, energy

Fills her heart

For her,the music is a lovely

Form of art

As she touches

The final string of guitar

The nature applauds

And considers her a star

Symbol Of You

A circle has no beginning or end.

It is symbol for infinity, a circle is eternal.

A ring is a celestial thing, it encircles planets, it’s made of gold.

A ring is a symbol for devotion, love ever-lasting. Precious.

My love is just as strong, my devotion is unrelenting.

Because you are just as important to me, as a spouse could ever be. 

We’ll never kiss, we’ll never touch in that way.

And that’s perfect.

Our love doesn’t look the same, no love really does.

And that’s perfect.

A ring is a symbol of many things, but for now on whenever I look to the fourth finger on your hand, and see it glinting there,

To me, forever and always,

A ring will be a symbol of you.

One year ago. When kneeling was protest but no more an act of treason than when people of various religious groups do not stand for the anthem or refuse the pledge of allegiance. These four little verses fell out. At home? At a bus stop? I cannot remember. Things haven't changed. Except now we too have a leader who is a known racist. But we're not allowed to call racism racism now. Parliamentary procedure says so. The BBC say so. Heaven forbid we call it what it is. I'm glad those simple acts of protest happen. Glad that Stevie Wonder protested too because, being better known here than NFL players, the headline in the UK was bigger. Black lives still matter. Black people are still oppressed. Racists still hold positions of power.
