Episode Eleven has a lot to unpack... including some cultural nuances that even I wasn't too knowledgeable about (so I had to ask my mom for clarification)

We're heading to Chao Fah Palace (คุ้มเจ้าฟ้า) in the province of Phrae (แพร่) for this episode... which is derivative of the old Lanna Kingdom and its culture. (We spoke a little bit about Lanna traditions when referencing the hairpins in episode five). Lanna territories are now part of modern-day Siam. In Lanna tradition, women were known as ช้างเท้าหลัง (pronounced 'chang tao lahng') which would literally translate into "the hind legs of the elephant". What it meant was that the direction of a woman's life and family were to be guided by the authority of a man, ช้างเท้าหน้า (pronounced 'chang tao nahr') "the front legs of the elephant". The woman must learn to accept her place. Lanna Buddhist tradition would preach that being born as a woman in this life meant you had not earned enough merit to be born a man, and to pray for better karma in the next lifetime. Ironically, before the rise of Buddhism, Lanna was one of the few territories to practice matrilineal succession... where lineage was passed on from mother to daughter.

Both of these beliefs were somewhat knit together for TLP's narrative in regards to Uangfah... which we'll talk about later.

ผ้าซิ่นตีนจก (pronounced 'pa sin tin jok') is a traditional skirt worn by women in Lanna. The skirts are known to have elaborate borders with strips of precious metals woven together, with spun gold or silver threads, by using a traditional loom. This technique emphasizes the beauty and value of the weaving, as well as the social status of the person wearing the skirt. The garment was generally reserved for high-ranking members of society.

Another practice steeped in Lanna tradition, is the art of making ตุง (pronounced 'toong'). In the northern dialect, this refers to a type of flag used in Lanna art and Buddhist ceremonies. The flags, adorned with various patterns and designs, are used to mark the boundaries of sacred sites as a symbol of the pathway toward enlightenment.

The series highlighted the Phra That Cho Hae Temple (พระธาตุช่อแฮ), which has rich history as a spiritual center and the most sacred Buddhism site in Phrae. Its highlight is the brass wrapped pagoda that stands 33 meters tall, which enshrines holy relics of Lord Buddha.

The Peacock Feather Dance (รำฟ้อนหางนกยูง - pronounced 'ram faan haang nohk-yuung') is a cultural piece of entertainment that sees dancers move in a circle and change positions in order to imitate the movements and courtship "dance" of a peacock. The dancers wear traditional northern costumes while holding peacock feathers. Known for its striking appearance, the peacock holds deep cultural and religious significance in Thailand. It is often associated with the ideas of beauty, royalty, prosperity, and spiritual awakening.

We are introduced to Uangfah's mother this episode. Princess Dararai holds the title of หม่อมเจ้าหญิง (mom-jao ying or M.C.) for being married to a descendant of the king. Princess Dararai wishing for her daughter to remain close to her after marriage has inklings of matrilineal customs, where the husband would typically come to live with the wife's family... and not the other way around.

The suitor Princess Dararai has chosen for her daughter to marry is Lord Muang-Rahm. Muang-Rahm holds the tilte of หม่อมราชวงศ์ (mom rat-cha-wong or M.R.) as a child of one "commoner" parent, but whose ancestry can be traced back to the king.

Uangfah has accepted the fact the she must submit to her mother's wishes and marry a man she does not care for (he's truly terrible... lesbi-honest). It's a bittersweet moment where we realize the realities of a woman who cannot openly pursue the love of another woman, given the views of society.

The proceeding conversation Uangfah has with Muang-Rahm is subtlety indicative of Lanna women who were in charge in their own relationships. Uangfah quietly inserts her authority over their future courtship by informing Muang-Rahm of her intentions to not wed straight away AND by addressing him by his nickname in front of Pia. Given his behavior, Muang-Rahm knows he cannot say anything untoward in order to save face... such a fun scene.

SHE KNOWS!!! The facial expressions 😂😂😂... you have to laugh

Anil and Pin have become more reckless the more comfortable they have become in their relationship... and that spells trouble ahead.

Zardozi or zar-douzi or zarduzi (Persian: زَردوزی, Hindi: ज़रदोज़ी, Tajik: зардӯзӣ, Urdu: زردوزی, Uzbek: zardoʻzi), is an Iranian, Indian-subcontinent and Central Asian embroidery type. Zardozi comes from two Persian words: zar or zarin meaning 'gold', and dozi meaning 'sewing'. Zardozi is a type of heavy and elaborate metal embroidery on a silk, satin, or velvet fabric base. Designs are often created using gold and silver threads and can incorporate pearls, beads, and precious stones. It is used as decoration for a wide range of applications, including clothes and household textiles. Historically, it was used to adorn the walls of royal tents, scabbards, wall hangings and the paraphernalia of regal elephants and horses. Initially, the embroidery was done with pure silver wires and real gold leaves. However, today, craftsmen make use of a combination of copper wire, with a golden or silver polish, and silk thread.

Confessions

Summary: Kalim confesses his love to you.

A/N: Second one shot complete! Kalim was a character that I was not too familiar with initially so I chose him for this chapter as a bit of a challenge for myself. I hope I got his character voice right! He's so sweet~

“That’s it! Your steps are looking great! Can you finally feel the rhythm of this song?”

Golden-red sunlight and the soft glow of hanging lamps throw evening shadows across the lush carpets and cushions of Scarabia’s dormitory lounge. Closing your eyes briefly, you listen to the sound of footsteps on cool tile and to the music coming from a nearby speaker. Various stringed instruments and drums from the Scalding Sands play against a glittering, wavering voice. You take in a deep breath and the warm scent of spices, tea, and lamp oil weave a harmonious and luxurious tapestry around you.

You continue to place your feet in the basic steps Kalim had shown you earlier and admit, slightly out of breath, “It’s a great song but I feel like I’m just copying you.”

Kalim places his hands on his hips and throws his head back in a boisterous, good-natured laugh, “You should give yourself more credit! You’re such a fast learner! It took weeks for some of my siblings to learn this particular dance.”

You raise an eyebrow as you watch him continue the dance and say teasingly, “Aren’t most of your siblings really young? Are you saying I’m as good as a baby?”

Kalim instantly stops mid-step and raises his hands in anxious defense, “No no no! That’s not what I’m saying at all! You’re way better than a baby! I mean you’re just really good! Babies have nothing to do with it!”

As he continues his stream of nervous consciousness, you notice his delicate tan shoulders seem tense and his brows are knit in frantic concentration. Kalim’s garnet-red eyes, that usually look into yours without hesitation, that usually blaze with excitement, now dart around the room like fluttering birds that greet everything but your gaze.

You reach out and softly place your fingers on his shoulders and ask gently, “Is everything okay? You know I was just kidding. Why are you acting so nervous?”

Your touch instantly silences Kalim’s rambling and he finally looks directly at you. His eyes are wide and they seem entranced, almost as if he’s stepped into a waking dream.

You begin to feel a sense of worry build up in the back of your mind. You resist the urge to shake him by the shoulders, to snap him out of it, and instead ask hesitantly, “Kalim?”

Hearing his name fall from your lips, something seems to click into place in Kalim’s expression like a key turned in a lock. It’s as if you’ve opened the gate of a canal when Kalim’s next words come rushing out like water, strong and full of life.

“I love you so much!”

Kalim immediately gasps and clasps his hands against his mouth looking as surprised as you do about the sudden declaration.

You swiftly drop your hands from his shoulders and blink rapidly from the sudden shift in the conversation, “Wait, what did you just say? Did you just say you love me?”

Closing his eyes and letting out a frustrated groan, Kalim places his hands over his face and sinks down onto a nearby pile of silken pillows. He peers out at you from between his slender fingers and explains in a disheartened voice, “I didn’t want to confess to you like that. I had a whole plan involving elephants and flowers and fireworks!”

You seat yourself on a soft and intricately designed carpet next to Kalim’s throne of cushions and smile reassuringly at him. Thinking back on the many loud and extravagant parties spontaneously thrown at Scarabia, you briefly imagine just how involved Kalim’s plans could have been and let out a slightly relieved laugh, “That sounds like it would have been intense. You don’t have to do things like that for me.”

Kalim practically lunges from his seat to clasp your hands in his and gazes into your eyes with strong concern and affection wrinkling his brows. He practically shouts, “Yes I do! I do need to do all that because you deserve to be treated like that! You deserve to be treated like royalty!”

You feel a pleasant warmth wash over your face and you look down at Kalim’s hands delicately wrapped around yours, as if they were holding irreplaceable treasure. Kalim follows your gaze and, almost apologetically, withdraws his touch. While absentmindedly spinning a golden bangle around his slender wrist, he speaks carefully in a kind voice that rises and falls with worry like a gentle wave.

"I always see you taking care of others and helping everyone with their problems. You're so diligent, and responsible, and capable! People really depend on you and it makes me so proud to just be close to someone as smart and wonderful as you. But seeing you work so hard for others makes me want to take care of you even more! I want you to rely on me in a way I've never felt before. I want to cherish you and fill your days with only happiness and joy."

Kalim falls silent and turns to look out a nearby window. His eyes have a far away look, as if he’s lost in thought. You trace his slight silhouette with an equally thoughtful gaze. You’ve never seen him so still. A warm breeze flutters in, bringing with it the dry scent of desert sand, and playfully ruffles the white feather-soft hair peeking out from under his dark red headscarf. A small, dazzling smile flickers across his face and Kalim glances over at you in a friendly and comfortable way.

He explains with a quiet laugh, “I was just thinking of something my dad told me a long time ago. Once, back when I was a kid, I asked my dad what it was like to fall in love. At first he just laughed and said I'd have to find out for myself. But I was so persistent and kept asking because I wanted a real answer."

Kalim’s voice drops wistfully quiet and his garnet eyes sparkle with memories, "My dad looked at my mom with this really gentle smile and told me that falling in love is like feeling a fire come to life inside of you. That love is warm, sometimes even scorching, but it's always there to fight the cold of loneliness."

He suddenly turns his head to face you directly. The burst of movement sets the large bow of his headscarf into a swaying, dancing motion and his golden accessories softly clink and chime against each other in metallic melody. Your eyes widen as you take in the sudden noble bearing on his face. Kalim’s expression is kind but determined and his voice rings out clear and strong.

"Seeing you smile and hearing you laugh, I finally realized what my dad was talking about. You don't just light a fire inside me, you ARE the fire! Even on the coldest days, I feel warmed by your kindness. When you smile at me, it feels like there are no more shadows because it's like the sun has come out."

Kalim reaches out towards you and purposefully takes your hand in his. Gently turning it over, he lightly traces a finger down the length of your palm. Gazing into your open hand, he smiles with quiet ease and murmurs dreamily, “Ya hayaati, when we laugh together, I feel like I could stay like that forever. When we sit together in silence, it feels like home."

You drink up Kalim’s words and his touch like morning dew in the desert. The air in the lounge is the same as it’s always been, warm and luxuriously scented, but now it sparkles with shining, unspoken affection in a way that leaves you breathless and spellbound. Somewhere, off in a distant hallway, you hear the faint echoes of pleasant laughter.

Kalim looks up into your face and his expression breaks into his usual cheerful and youthful grin. You notice a touch of worry at the corners of his eyes but it only makes his smile even sweeter.

"Don't look so serious! However you feel and whatever you say, I'll always be your friend!" he exclaims with a laugh that reminds you of starlight.

Kalim stands up with a graceful leap before turning to offer you his hand, "Now cheer up, and let's dance the night away!"

Review: The World of Sylvanian Families The Official Guide

This book is relatively new; it debuted around Christmas, 2023. It’s 110 pages, hardbound, and written with children in mind, but with value for adult collectors.

You can find some sample pictures of the interior on Amazon, but I wanted to talk a bit about what they do and don’t include, so you can decide for yourself if it’s a worthwhile addition to your own collection.

The book contains a story of the origin of Sylvania, which is heartwarming and sweet, with cute illustrations. The illustrations are the only time some of the vintage families appear in the book.

It also contains a section on the families themselves, including photos of the figures, their names, and the description of each member that you would usually find on the bottom of the box.

The most popular families get their own page and the Chocolate rabbits actually have a two-page spread. The families included are:

The older brothers and sisters have their own page called “In The Town”, separate from the families. Interestingly, this includes Lionel Grand, who I hadn’t considered to be an older sibling. I might have to check his figure now.

The book also includes maps of Sylvanian Village, Sylvania Town, Seabreeze Cape, and Sylvanian Land, the amusement park for the babies. I think this is a fine bit of inspiration for designing your own layouts.

The book also includes descriptions of the seasons and Sylvanian holidays, including both Christmas and Easter.

In the back is a short timeline of Sylvanian Families history.

It is necessarily incomplete, given the target audience and the amount they’d probably have to pack into a book if they weren’t being general. Unfortunately it does not contain the full information on each of the various families and when they were released. There is definitely still room for a collector’s book for adults that includes information on the vintage families and sets.

Finally, the last page in the book is a delightful encapsulation of Sylvanian Families values.

I think this is a wonderful addition and a perfect capstone to the book, and I am very happy with owning it. I do hope that someday there will be a book for adult collectors, with the same kind of aesthetic, but with the full details we would love to have.

C'est le Quasimodo ! 👑

It's been a loooong time since I've read NDDP but only now did I sit down and draw Quasimodo himself <3 he's my second favorite character of the whole novel and one of my favorite book characters, like, ever, so it was only fair to dedicate some art to him.

With this design (???) I tried to follow the description given in the beginning of the novel and this extract was before my eyes the whole drawing process;

... We shall not try to give the reader an idea of that tetrahedral nose, that horseshoe mouth; that little left eye obstructed with a red, bushy, bristling eyebrow, while the right eye disappeared entirely beneath an enormous wart; of those teeth in disarray, broken here and there, like the embattled parapet of a fortress; of that callous lip, upon which one of these teeth encroached, like the tusk of an elephant; of that forked chin; and above all, of the expression spread over the whole; of that mixture of malice, amazement, and sadness ...

... A huge head, bristling with red hair; between his shoulders an enormous hump, a counterpart perceptible in front; a system of thighs and legs so strangely astray that they could touch each other only at the knees, and, viewed from the front, resembled the crescents of two scythes joined by the handles; large feet, monstrous hands; and, with all this deformity, an indescribable and redoubtable air of vigor, agility, and courage ...

... motionless, squat, and almost as broad as he was tall; squared on the base, as a great man says; with his doublet half red, half violet, sown with silver bells ...

So the design isn't 100% accurate but I'm pretty happy with it :D and we can't forget the "cardboard tiara" and the "derisive robe of the Pope of the Fools" ...

The bottom left Quasimodo is from the 1998 musical which I absolutely adore <3 re-watching it a couple days ago gave me lots of inspiration for this page and other NDDP art I might make...

The tiger on top left is Kenny the Tiger, who at some point was considered "world's ugliest tiger", a claim with which I wholeheartedly disagree, imo he's cute and also he reminded me of Quasimodo :D

Elvis was in Las Vegas in December, 1975, making up for the season that was abruptly cancelled after just three nights during August.

This engagement ran from December 2nd through to the 15th, with a significantly less intense schedule; a total of 16 shows and just one show per night with the exception of the two Saturdays, the 6th and the 13th. This great quality soundboard is from the midnight show on Saturday the 13th.

The 'silver phoenix' was one example of a jumpsuit style used between 1974 and 76. The original design concept wasn't for a bird at all, as Gene Doucette, Bill Belew's design associate, recalled in an interview with The Guardian in 2010;

"…I remember once I was working on a bunch of ideas and Elvis was impatient so asked, through his assistant's assistant's assistant, could he see some samples. I was making a jungle-themed suit at this point – vines, serpents, elephants – so I sent him a sample that featured a zebra's head on it. I heard back, 'Elvis loves it, but wonders why you've made the feet on the bird so small'. I had no idea what they were talking about, until I realised that when you looked at the zebra upside down, it kind of did resemble a bird. What could I do, it's Elvis? I just widened the zebra's nose, changed its feet to ears and reworked the shape and it became a Phoenix. Then I hear back: 'Elvis loves them, can you do five more in different colours?'.."

Elvis played his final Las Vegas engagement in December 1976, but was booked to open a new showroom, the 5 000 seat Hilton Pavilion, in October 1977.

Mono pulls out a tray attached on one of the many machines in their lab. Sure enough, on the slab of metal lies the product hundreds of hours of work, and a perverse mind. The device was used for more tame wear, but there's no harm in a little flare ever once in a while. Mono picks up the clothing with a sense of pride for its design, suddenly noticing the elephant in the room as it beeps overhead.

[Didn't I shut you down?]

The smile on the ship ai's monitor turns into a frown. "Aw, come on. It's not like I can do anything. It's so boring being dead and I wanna see them in that outfit too. It's the least you can do for never giving me a damn body."

Mono turns Exael off without a second thought before exiting the room to venture to yours.

Reading a book on your bed, you set it aside as the door opens.

[Good evening, Starlight. I've brought you a gift."]

You sit up to see what they've brought. "Hey, Mono - what is it?"

[Well since you are technically co-pilot, it's only fair you have a fitting outfit.]

Mono unfurls the costume held in hand. It's a silver jumpsuit with a purple trim. There's a spilt in the sleeves the further it goes up as well as the sides; a belt hooked around the waist. The front is unzipped down to mid chest and on closer look, it doesn't seem to be a working one either. The bottom half of it is also cut where it stops right at thigh level. On the left chest is a logo of an unfamiliar planet.

Mono tilts their head as you stare eyes-wide, unsure what to say about the attire. If you could see their face, you're sure they'd be smirking.

[What's wrong? Do you not like it? I heard some humans have always dreamt of playing space ranger and exploring the vast universe. Why don't you put this on and let me do the same to you?]

Army of Darkness (1992) Having now seen the original trilogy, it baffles me that all of the Evil Dead reboots exclusively lean into horror. Two thirds of the these movies are practically Saturday-morning cartoons! I love everything about this, from the humour to the puppetry to the insane haircuts.

Mad Monster Party? (1967) This is the first feature-length Rankin-Bass production that I've seen and you can tell the animators were invested in this one. 80% of the film is visual gag it's all so much fun. Zero complaints though I am a sucker for anything that lumps a bunch of public domain monsters together.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024) While I wish they'd gone with the original sequel premise (Beetlejuice goes to Hawaii), this is still a solid comeback. Does it all work? No. But it is a great pitch for a Beetlejuice limited series.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018) Loved the original, loved this even more.

Murder at Hazelmoor by Agatha Christie (Complete) Really digging into Christie's work has given me some more perspective on which sorts of mysteries I connect. This one, which spends some time with the suspects, but not as much as in other books, made it much harder to keep track of everyone. But dang if the endings don't deliver so much satisfaction that I can't help but finishing it and thinking "Yeah! That was good."

The Fifth Elephant by Terry Pratchett (Complete) The Discworld series of novels are always great but sometimes one just really clicks for me. Loved the monsterverse setting, loved the politics, loved it all. I'm not sure I'd recommend this as a good entrypoint but if you've read any of the Discworld books featuring the Watch and you haven't read The Fifth Elephant, definitely check it out.

Richard Stark's Parker: Slayground by Donald E Westlake and Darwyn Cooke (Complete) Darwyn Cooke's adaptation are always so stylish I always feel a little sad reading it, knowing it's his final rework of the Parker series. And such a gut punch at the end when it says Parker will return. Darwyn Cooke has been such an inspiration for me and his work is incredible; please check out this series or the DC: The New Frontier comics OR his run on Catwoman OR his contributions to Spider-Man's Tangled Web.

FF Volume 1: Fantastic Faux and FF: Volume 2: Family Freakout by Matt Fraction, Lee Allred, Michael Allred, Laura Allred, Joe Quinones, and many more (Complete) I loved Matt Fraction's work on Hawkeye and Michael and Laura Allred's work on Silver Surfer so I was excited for this pairing...but it didn't really click. The writing felt surprisingly dated and even across the two volumes I felt like I was missing a lot of context. I wish I could recommend it but there are better stories from these creatives and about these characters.

Flight b741 by King GIzzard & The LIzard Wizard (2024) The beauty of King Gizzard's prolific output is that they have the freedom to experiment. Sometimes I don't connect with what they're doing, and sometimes they put out an album like this. Into it.

Shingangumi by Ginger Root (2024) The vibes are right on the mark but the majority of the album just kinda washes over you. Some of Ginger Root's singles are really catchy and it's a shame I haven't connected with any individual tracks just yet.

sydney would be microphone, they both can be a lot for some people, and they also end up meeting up with the person in the woods and working with them and believing theyll get benefits from it. just to end up being used for that person's reasons

jedidiah would be test tube, i feel like she would stay up all night while ignoring everyone else because shes working on a project. although more sciencey, she does build stuff too so i guess she can be an architect.

elijah would be taco, theyre that person in the woods from earlier. they also both like tea and from european countries (sorta? idk if countries really exist in ii, but she is british 💔). also i gave her a cat mask instead of the elephant mask, and im now realizing the taco cat thing 😭.

adam would be mephone, they have similar vibes imo, and i feel like he would have good relationship advice. and since mephone is sorta robot, i thought that would go well with adam being a demon.

rowan would be candle, with all the magic stuff from her i thought that would go well with the visions stuff. plus candle is kinda black coded, atleast most people (including my self) draw her as black for gijinkas/humanized

juniper would be silver spoon, because... 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧💔BRITISH💔🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 and i feel like he would try his best to get out of touching fish and stuff.

marisol would be lightbulb, first, lightbulb is sorta canonically trans fem, and second, shes just as loveable and goobery as marisol

salem would be paintbrush. mainly because of the whole lightbulb x paintbrush thing, but they also have that similar vibes know? (and tulip would be their pet crab, baxter!!)

yvonne would be knife. it was really hard for me to find one for yvonne, but i thought he would fit best. he sorta the though guy and pokes fun at people, but doesnt mean it in a bad way. and he canonically plays video games, so yeah

joshua would be balloon, as theyre both the scrawny type. they also can be annoying for people, and people probably believe they cant win a fight tbh.

sorin would be ying-yang, evil little mischievous dudes. similar vibes tbh

lucielle would be tea kettle, they both can be the sorta motherly like figure, but have a short temper. tries to stay calm.

matthew would be box

ok so, I wanted to answer it much sooner and I got sooo excited, but then I also got intimidated because my design for Vinnie is so fucking stupid. But, I will try to describe him now as best as I can. Why only him? Well, because the rest of the humanized pets in my head are very similar to already existing human designs of them from other people who drew them as such. In short, if you saw drawings of their humanized selves especially from older fandom days (so like 2013-2015 or so) you have seen how they look in my head. Vinnie however... well, of course as my favourite specialest little guy gets extraordinary treatment, sooo that's why I will only stick to him.

I will try my best of course, but since I can't draw his design exists solely in my head, so stick with me as I try to untangle this mess, and so my human Vinnie physical interpretation here goes:

white, but like, really really pale, like almost sickly-looking pale. So white in very literal sense. Basically what you get in google images when you type in: very pale comlexion

freckles everywhere! Like, everywhere. On his face across his cheeks and nose and a lot of them, not just a few (honestly like you draw Sunil with freckles, just more)

short, really really short, my little guy is literally little so yeah. Also skinny, really skinny

ourple eyes of course and eye bags, really visible dark eye bags (the best feature any character can have in my humble opinion <3 adding eye bags to a character makes them instantly 1000x better to me)

fangs/very sharp canines, another comparision to yours, but kinda like your Russell except that they're not like sticking out from his mouth, just when his mouth is open, you know? Basic ass idea but oh well, he's my prettiest white boy

hmmm what elseeeee, no facial hair, hmmm uhhh idk, I was going to add here other things that he doesn't have in my design but I can't think of anything else rn

short uneven nails because he bites them <3 not as a stress-thing, he does that just because yeee

and finally, the elephant in the room, the most important thing - Vinnie hair, uh oh. This is so hard to describe I'm genuinely lost but I sure will try. First, I will try to provide some visualization which is here , I know, it's just pixiv generated image but that's the best we have. Aside from that we also have my best try at drawing his hair ona stickman in paint multiple times, one of those times is here. So yeah, this in not 100% accurate, but that's the best visualization. I will try to add some stuff though to properly describe his hair: it's long, waist-long, green of course, straight but not like fully sticking to his body basically a combination of those two images of Vinnie from the first linked post. That's the best I can do to describe his hair unfortunately, all you really need to know is that it's beautiful ✨

Now that I described his body to the best of my abilities, I suppose I should also mention his outfit. Well, this is one of the things I said a lot, but a hoodie in peak character design to me so yeah, a hoodie, a green one of course. Not one with a zipper, but it has a hood. For whatever reason I also imagine it without pockets? It's not that important but whenever I think of him in my head his hoodie doesn't have any pockets. Welp.

I also imagine him with three helix piercing on his right ear, all three being silver

Nooow, to be completely honest I never quite estabilished how he looks from the waist down. I'm not sure why, but this part has always been kinda vague for me. I know his pants would be dark, black or dark gray or something and not baggy, just kinda sticking to the body kind? Not jeans however! Maybe something akin to leggings? Maybe even leggings with foot straps? Yeah, I'd say probably that. And I never thought of what shoes he would wear either. I guess just some sneakers? But that's all I have.

Oh oh and also those cool black, fingerless gloves

I think that's all? I'm analyzing him in my head now so much, but I think I said everything. As for how well I described him? You judge that I suppose xd.

As for personality? Well, I will try to generalize it as much as possible, because to really understand the way I see him obviously we'd have to go through all of my headcanons for him which is an obvious no right now xD there's too many of them. But in short: silly goofy ass, NOT stupid because no, I mean he's not a genius like Russell either but he has common sense pls, outward chill going but inward there's more happening behind scenes, his first reaction to anyone is being friendly, very loyal to his closest friends and also very determined, he doesn't give up easily. He however can't control his anger most of the time and gets jealous easily plus has abandonment issues.

Idk, I could go on and on about his personality, but again, that would require a much much longer post and/or reading laterally all my previous Vinnie stuff so yeee, I suppose I will end here.

Ok, now that that's done I just wanted to thank you so much for giving me an opportunity to talk about my special guy. And absolutely no pressure about drawing him, really! Especially given that half-baked description xd. But if you do wanna draw him, then omg. In such case (or if you wanna just in general) feel free to ask about any more details that I might have missed if you need.

Plus as I said, the rest of the humanized pets in my interpretation pretty much already exist, so I didn't include them. But, if you'd still like to hear about them then feel free to ask.
