I love the way you draw Killer too, it's something about the expressions you give him and the way you draw the smudges from his eyes it's just, like I want to reach into my computer and touch your art! Also I went to your art tag to double check and I didn't realise you did the cosplay of Dust where you drew the eyes over it, I love that!!! I've never seen somebody do cosplay with drawing over it but it's so cool, especially with the kinda cartoony eyes you give Dust, it's such a cool idea! ^^

The HSR events keep getting better and better if I’m honest

I like the Museum event moderately even if I played it a lil late, but I like those kind of management styles even if it wasn’t heavy on character

The Aurum Alley event was honestly kind of a joy for me again for the management elements but additionally for the debates as well as the expansion of some lore on an area of the Luofu and the IPC plus Sushang being a goof, seriously those debates were fun for me I don’t know why

Then the Aetherium Wars event was so fun and it was so nice seeing March and Stelle’s dynamic on display and being a driving force, the gameplay was fun and all the cheeky pokemon references bc they weren’t hiding the inspo at all it was just so endearing and the way we get to keep the Warp Trotter on the Express made me so happy

And lastly, the Ghost Hunting event has managed to be the best ever! Like Gui being silly with Sushang and Huohuo is a delight, it’s so character heavy and I love that, and on top of that one of the only instances I’ve seen of internet slang being used in a way that felt more naturally applied than forcefully cringe, like whether it was the insanely accurate comments and posts on Ghostly Grove (which dear god did the team and localizers do their research) or the way that Guinaifen talks using that kind of slang verbally, plus I do love the way they also end up using the ghost stories to further expand on the Luofu and its lore/world building

A h I hope this trend keeps up, I hope they stay this good even if they end up having some similar gameplay, I’m more here for storylines and silliness than anything and I’m already excited for the leaks from the 1.6 event and I hope we get to keep those too

I'll start with the deltarune ones since those are the Easiest to explain, then ill talk about my actual Original guys lol

Cabelle is based around conspiracies and more out-there gaster theories obv, but her main inspo also comes from a tweet i saw like eons back that was essentially just: "mark my words the chapter 3 boss is gonna be like the history channel or smth". that always stuck with me, wanted to do smth with it!

Hero was based around a hyperfixation at the time, that being Murder Miners, this old xbox craft shooter my friend got me into. always loved those offbrand minecraft things, little me would be playing Survivalcraft and Eden all the time on my old busted ipad.

other ones aren't as clever or deep, like blanca being based off that berdly dialog, or peann and dexter just. being objects without much else lol

Outside of those, a lot of my characters are mishmashes of games and character's that've stuck with me through the years! for example, heres some sonas/dudes from a story/website thing im still workin on: mlmty

I didnt start with these character inspo templates, but they help organize how i wanna write em and whatnot fghjk

Sometimes the inspo will come from art as well, like my weird interdimensional private eye dude Ampersand here! He's directly inspired by a specific painting, which is next to him here

Hiiii! Please enjoy this lil post. A bit spicy but I kept it pretty tame lol.

Mikasa: She would want to go somewhere that you like. She would either ask your friends or creep your social media to see if you have a favourite restaurant. Would pick somewhere chill where you don’t need to dress up. I think she would enjoy going for a walk with you after dinner, somewhere by the beach to watch the sunset. She’d pack a blanket so the two of you can sit there and enjoy the moment. I feel like she’d enjoy getting dessert at one of those 50’s diners where you can split a sundae. She wouldn’t initiate any kisses but I think she’d hold your hand while trying not to blush. A wholesome and chill night out. 

Eren: Loves spicy food and takes you to a Mexican restaurant. Loves the music and the food. When you date Eren; you’re his. I feel like he’d want to sit on the same side of the booth as you or at the bar so that you guys are side by side. Likes holding your waist and can’t take his eyes off of you. Drives the two of you somewhere out of the city with a view and has curated the perfect playlist for the drive. Parks the car and wants to hold you and have deep long chats for hours. Wants to know everything about you and share everything about himself too. He loves to kiss your neck and watch your chest go up and down with the excitement of his touch. Lets you wear his hoodie and doesn’t want to stop holding you. One hand on the wheel and one hand on your thigh. 

Connie: He’d want to take you somewhere that the two of you could have a lot of fun at. An arcade bar where you could get burgers and fries and some fun cocktails. He would want to play all of the games with you and would always let you win. Collecting tickets to win you a stuffed animal. Is a little shy about affection so bonding over teamwork and games would be a good way to hang out and get closer. I feel like he would sneak in some touching, like nudging you or giving you a tight hug when you win games. A playful kind of love. Would ask you for a kiss at the end of the night and go sooooo pink in the cheeks. 

Hange: Y’all are going for South Asian food; they loveeee curry. Somewhere on the higher end too. Wants to share everything and try everything on the menu. Hange loves to share their ideas and I feel like if you’re on a date with them they would feel so comfortable to talk to you and share everything; you make them feel safe. After dinner they would want to do something fun like a themed cocktail night at a funky bar. Wants to go dancing with you and get moving. Silly and sweet but they’d definitely know when to turn on the charm; grinding you, kissing you and getting you so turned on. They’re a coy lover and would love making you blush. Making out on a dance floor, and kissing you until you’re love drunk. They’d walk you home late at night in the cool quiet evening, laughing about your adventures from the night. 

Armin: Armin would rather do a day date instead of one at night. I feel like he’d love brunch and indulging in foods like chicken and waffles, eggs benny and all of the delicious brunch goodness. Armin isn’t shy to voice his feelings and so I feel like he’d rather just see you in the sunlight; glowing without the veil of evening to cover you up. Would want to ask you all about work, how your friends are and just get into the nitty gritty of the week. Wants to go to a museum and look at all of the art and history, the two of you picking out your favourite paintings and walking arm in arm. He’d want to understand why you like things to understand your psyche better. Soft kisses on your cheeks throughout the date. Would compliment you so many times on you beautiful you look.

Following up to that, Algeria has the nickname of a “continent” given its very diverse landscapes and nature, it has seas and Sahara deserts, it has dunes and it has rock mountains, it has green mountains and green landscapes, it has rivers and it has ponds, it has snowy areas and it has hot areas, every corner of Algeria is like entering a whole new country, but infact you’re still in the same place

Algeria harbours one of the biggest open air museums in the whole world, aka “the Tassili”, which is a Sahara desert area located in the south of Algeria, mostly in the city of Djanet, it is full of beautiful rocks and cave painting that date to thousands of years back

Following up to that, the tassili harbours the oldest rock city “Sefar” that is full of paintings and artefacts that is said to represent tha oldest civilisation in the world

Algeria’s second president was the first man to ever speak Arabic in the United Nations without interpreting, this was at the times where Arabic was not assigned an official language in the UN

Algeria actually had many major resistances before the 1st of November revolution, the most notable one being the emirates of Abdul kader, they really made France run for its money, tho they all failed due to them being separate and all of the resistances dying with their leaders (not all the leaders were killed but still, the resistances stopped when the leader was stopped)

Speaking of Amir Abdul kader, after his resistance was stopped, he was exiled to Syria, there he had managed to actually save the lives of so many Christian folk from murder despite him being a fully Muslim man

Algeria actually had a decent Jewish population, however when France came along they found a way to separate Muslims and jews by giving jews full citizenship while leaving Muslims to eat dust and be their slaves, so when Algerians gained independence they kicked out anyone with a French citizenship, which included the Algerian jews with the citizenship, that resulted in Algeria’s Jewish population to get smaller and smaller as most of them left with the French, leaving Algeria a country that’s 99% muslim

Algeria actually suggested to cut off all gas and petrol on America and Europe to the Arabs a few days ago as a way to peer pressure the west into calling for a ceasefire on Gaza, unfortunately some Arabs countries voted against it

TOP HAT TRIO ARCHIVES: Part 1

((A small fraction of my old old old trio art, most of which has never seen the light of tumblr (under the cut)! None of this is colored. Some of this is pre-blog or just... REALLY early-era Trio art, so some of it is... dated. Also, as indicated by the top, this is part 1. Meaning there will probably be more, LOL...))

((I hope it's okay if I ramble some fun facts in the middle of this!))

We're gonna start off with this silly lil doodle of the lads! This was drawn during the era where I did my silly crossover drawings, before I mustered the courage to turn them into an askblog.

Based on the date, I must've drawn this next one while I was in the process of actually making the blog... potentially their original "profile" images? Or just a doodle I did to get me hyped...

As you can see, all the drawings so far are pencil and ink... that's because (if I remember correctly) this is when I was VERY new to computer tablets! I felt more confident in my traditional art so I would slap quick colors onto the back of a bunch of ink-drawn replies and make minor adjustments with the tablet. I remember being hesitant to switch to a fully digital style since I felt the sketchiness was almost part of the style of trio? But I've come to accept change is good! Everything post-Greed M!A is all (or mostly) digitally lined (with the occasional trad sketch), but if you look closely at the trio in this (and many other) early-day responses, you can definitely see the pencil marks!

Unposted Thneedville High Trio!!! I was SO obsessed with the Once-ler Askblog AU's back in the Once-ler Fandom's hayday... they were a lot of fun to observe on the side and I wanted to be part of that in my small way, but unfortunately, I was a coward so I never did LOL... I'm thinking this was drawn in February or March 2013...

And, something I drew on the same page, Truffula Flu Trio!!!! I think I briefly thought about making it (and thneedville high) a sideblog but I felt like I couldn't commit for multiple reasons: (1) AU hype was dying down a little, (2) It was a bit too serious a concept for Trio; I wanted to keep them lighthearted and silly (covers bad end with a hand). And (3) I was still doubting whether or not my blog counted as a Once-ler blog (being only 1/3 once-ler) and whether I was valid to participate in events. Eventually I got over that fear when I joined Camp Weehawken and participated in the fandom revival of 2015, but the fear was definitely there at the very beginning and I hesitated to jump in on some stuff because of it!!

These were some of my earliest (unanswered) asks! I think for a while I thought I accidentally deleted the Pinkie Pie one, but it mysteriously came back one day?? I don't plan to finish these but might as well get some closure since I already drew them. I had to look up which troll typing was the one being used here so I might be wrong, I know nothing about homestuck except chapter 1 and 2 and whatever I osmosis from my mutuals LOL...

Peacock was drawn before I knew anything about Skullgirls...... within the past few years I recently watched her gameplay/storyline! She's defs a fun character. Trio are probs neutral about her. I'm not confident enough to do anything major with her, but I would love to cameo her more!

I got a few asks / M!A's about genderbent versions of the trio back in early 2013 and these were my doodles for that. The designs were based off of different designs floating around tumblr at the time that I liked. I'm not interested in doing this M!A anymore, but the dresses are cute!

Some glasses shenanigans I never posted for some reason?? (For reference: (1) (2) (3) (4).) It's silly stuff like this that make me realize Trio!Professor is a little bit like "Cheerful Mystery" Professor but like... waaaaay more tame HAHA (I never read the manga back then because I was upset they made Layton OOC, but from what I've seen he's... a lot more chaotic there). Which, ykno, good chance explains why Trio!Professor stays sane around Once-ler and Warden and their wacky selves.

Some wardlers and layclaires!! Also a few super old things I doodled out for Lovestruck M!A part 2 (including warden being a perv and oncie being flustered and confused, LMAO) but... idk if I have the energy to commit to it at the moment... partially bc thinking about getting an influx of shippy-type asks gets me overwhelmed and idk if I can commit to another magic anon all my magic anons manage to kill the blog somehow 😭, but ykno... saving the anons in my inbox in case I change my mind... My first drawing of Wilson from Don't Starve!! I didn't even play Don't Starve at the time, but I wanted to do research if I was going to properly execute the magic anon and I fell in love with him immediately. Unfortunately he (and his game) became my new brainrot and I still feel really bad about that LAUGHS, but hey! Was worth it! Maybe someday I'll redo trio mods for DST...

With Yuuji because I feel like you guys would be the cutest loveliest couple around, going on adventures and spontaneous dates together, you would match each other's energy so well, and you would cherish each other till the end of time, he would put you first and your needs over everything else always, your relationship would be filled with fun times, soft kisses and sweets moments, his protective carefree nature would make you swoon. If I could describe this relationship with aesthetics and music, I would say for aesthetics: Flowers, Amusement Parks, Desserts, Shiny Colorful lights, the end of summer, Converse shoes (the colorful ones), bear hugs and piggy back rides

With Megumi, because I feel like you would balance each other, he has this bold serious nature to him almost in a tsundere way but he would be so soft with you, always holding your hand, putting his arm in front of you if something feels wrong (he's protective) and even if he acts serious most of the time he would laugh at your jokes (you're the only one that knows he can laugh until his cheeks hurt, and more often than not at Yuuji's expense) with him, I can see stargazing dates at the rooftop (the highest building of course), probably shopping (he would act like he's tired to be there but he's happy to see you twirling around every time you find something you like, he would blush and murmur a soft "pretty" ) also Park dates probably after going for ice cream, you would sit on the grass and he would lay his head on your lap, closing his eyes and just enjoying each other's presence while you play with his hair, no need for words in that moment, but he would always listen to you, specially late at night in the dark of his room, just the dim light of the moon coming from the curtains, sharing whispered secrets.

For aesthetics: Stargazing, the start of spring, walking by the beach, fairy lights, holding hands, little notes on paper, matching keychains, museum dates.

Okay so I watched Day of the Departed and OMG 😭 it's certified, I saw Morro smile and thought "BABY" and "omg what a sweet boy" it's too late for me now, the emo ghost has become my villainous babygirl. Blorbo status is unshakeable. I'm gonna be thinking about him for the next few weeks. I've also got a few questions and comments, namely: "lmaoo look at how he wakes up like an old man with stiff bones and aching joints" LOVE how Wu is just "hm what kind of omen is this" and Morro just pops in and out of the screen like a groundhog whispering ominously "bad, verryyyy baaaad" >:) and then is just :D CUTIEEE what a SILLY GUY I love him, silliest ever. How did he change so much between Cursedworld II and this??? It's like every ounce of anger is gone. Maybe the Preeminent really did affect him somehow. I always did wonder how he became so loyal to her. Also when he says, "He's made you forget one of your own. One who was already slipping away." for one, dang he is so different when talking softly and making worried expressions. second, I'm not the only one thinking about how that's JUST like Morro 40 something years ago. Him, who was slipping away, who was one of Wu's once upon a time ago. Oh, those words are personal. Not sure how he knew that tho, did I miss the part where Yang says he manipulated Cole or did Morro just come to a logical conclusion based on similar ghostly experiences? Has he ever almost faded away like that? And then the ENDING had me crying again, like its about that sweet look on his face as he says "happy day of the departed" and just peacefully goes back into the museum, I'm mourning so hard and crying and when the red lanterns lit the sky aglow, drifting a river of ruby lights into the night, I kept wondering if Morro could see them :( it's a festival for the departed after all, a signal, remembrance, a guiding light from heart to home. Idk what I'm gonna do now besides wander around tumblr and ao3, I'm fine with inflicting Morro onto my friend but they don't rlly know Ninjago enough to scream and cry with me and hnng the fic idea juice is churning, I can't let this go, it's not often I feel insane enough to write, I gotta get this written at least before I swap fandoms but with how many seasons of Ninjago I have to catch up on it may just stay for a couple months, I need to rewatch S5 until I've memorized his character 👀 then it's off to hunt down reputable, safe Ninjago discord servers.
