Cait acts like she’s so wronged, that no one could feel her pain except her, and so many people suffer from it. Don’t get me wrong, I understand that her mother died, and that is definitely a tragedy, but Vi lost both of her dads, Jinx lost all three of her’s, and the undercity is swarmed with orphans, like, babe, the dictatorship was a little much for the loss of your mom.

This is the worst lie Jinx has ever told herself.

Felicia's literally just Vi with a braid.

Now young Silco, that's just male Jinx with less baby fat, but we all know Jinx's face is only getting sharper.

Forget the Felicia, it's like the artists decided Silco was literally Jinx's only parent. The resemblance is still there even when Silco gets older.

You think anyone who knew Silco when he was young looked at Jinx and went, "yh that's Silco in blue".

Unpopular opinion :/

But, imo, by making Silco more 'Jinx-adjacent' in S2 and in the artbook, they ended up making him TOO pretty. And prettiness is not supposed to be the point of Silco's character. It's meant to be about inadequacy, about a meteor-sized chip on the shoulder, about never having enough to go around and always feeling as if the system is rigged against you.

I do adore how attractive young Silco is in S2 and all the attention it's getting his character. But I also can't help but feel they yassified him for palatability's sake - in every sense - and kinda robbed the character of the bite and bitterness that made him such an intriguing revolutionary type villain in the first place.

Viktor's Fall / Silco's Dreams

Viktor was born with a weak leg from some sort of nerve damage. It was not a big impairment, until the day his leg gave out and he fell from his village's cliffside, breaking that same leg when he landed.

It was a bad fall, broken by vegetation as much as he could manage.

Silco saw him fall and jumped after him. That day had haunted him ever since, sometimes turning to nightmares...

Tried something very different for this comic... I used a fluffy sketch pencil and painted directly on the lines. No references were used, all to save time and keep from perfectionism taking me by the throat.

It's my final entry specifically for the avatar event! It has been a blast. I will continue to have fun with the Arcane/Avatar crossover, but I'm going to focus on fic for a bit and rest my weary bones.

What fun this has been! Will definitely do more when A3 fever seizes all of us!

The lack of Vander&Jinx(Powder) fan content is criminal to me.

Although not much was shown, we could see how close they were

We could see it in that bar scene

and by how Powder drew hearts and rainbow around him, unlike poor Mylo.

His last words were about Powder goddamnit.

I REALLY like to think this YOU is Vander (aka Warwick). Especially since Jinx here sounds like she's holding back tears, and we hear Warwick howl at the end.

Arcane plz give me more of THIS tragic father/daughter bond!!!

“When was the last time you had a bath?” Silco japed, leaning against the wall, watching you repair the jukebox. “A year ago?”

“When was the last time you minded your own business?”

Silco barked out a laugh. Needling you had become one of his favourite pastimes.

“Everything is my business, little grease monkey,” he chuckled.

More smutty Silco chapters will come, but I really liked how this one turned out. Lots of angst, surprises, multiple betrayals, girl boss friends, Y!Vander will be very manipulative in this story so if that rubs you the wrong way, then this fic probably won’t be your tea. Keeping with S1 -- I’m writing a more ruthless, manipulative, jealous and power struggle between Silco and Vander.

I am honestly flabbergasted with the fans that actively hate on objectively good characters like jayce or mylo and then swoon over how silco is such a "good girl dad". honey he was a CHEM BARON TERRORIZING AN ENTIRE CITY THROUGH DRUG WARS AND RAISED A BROKEN GIRL BY PROJECTING HIS OWN TRAUMA ON HER, MAKING HER THE MONSTER HE WANTED TO DO HIS DIRTY WORK.

and jayce is just a himbo with a big ego that was manipulated by power to do things he's not proud of and killed a child ON ACCIDENT and mylo....... was just a kid??? a mean kid but still a kid???
