BIO

Being born a man's bastard son shouldn't be a heavy burden to carry anymore in the twenty-first century, should it? And yet, Silas was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, though he was never meant to taste it himself. One bright, sunny morning Diego Muños found himself the father of a little boy he didn't know he had signed up for. He didn't and he wouldn't, because Diego Muños had a beautiful wife and a beautiful three year old son, but neither of them would take too kindly to being introduced to an affair's child. Neither would be another affair, surely, but he was out of options.

Marin Rivera was young and madly in love with a man she knew was no good for her and yet, while knowing deep down he would never give up his privileged life for her, she hoped. He didn't. Instead, he left her with a boy that wasn't even hers to fend for herself in a world that knows no mercy for the unfortunate, but regardless of that, Marin never faltered - not for long anyway. She raised that little boy, claiming him to be hers like there'd never been any doubt he was. Diego came by a few times over the years, usually only to pick up where he and Marin left off, but she wouldn't have it anymore. She took her son and left the state to start fresh in a new environment, away from past memories and sins.

Austin in Texas was.. fine. It was a decent home for them and Marin loved her little boy regardless of the troubles that came with his birth. One might think she blamed him for Diego leaving her, for ending their secret little tryst once and for all, but .. she didn't. If she did, she never once let the little boy know. She raised him a good boy, a momma's boy who'd move mountains to keep her from harm. Silas found his love for music early on in life, his mother always supportive and trying to allow him the best possible life. She worked day and night, but never failed to be there for Silas - even when she wasn't home. Guitar lessons, singing lessons, archery lessons. Anything he wanted, he got.

Silas grew up a happy little boy, with his spanish roots never quite forgotten even if they didn't settle in as prominently as Marin had hoped. She taught him how to cook and take care of himself, they spent most of their time together, because despite the joy the boy felt every day at home, school ... was different. Silas was not the social flower he appeared to be around the person he loved more than his life. So, around other kids, he struggled, but that never quite mattered to him. He didn't care what they thought of him, not in the slightest. He focused on himself, his own growth, his own ... strength. Or well, his own interests. Like music.

The first time his wings popped out was in school no less. He'd always felt out of place and that just ..confirmed it, in a way. Nobody else seemed to mind, or even notice, so for a long while he thought he imagined it. And then it happened again during PE. Too lost in a race across the obstacle course, he didn't even notice until after. To the outside world, he simply and very, very swiftly leapt over every single one. Again, he thought he'd imagined it as nobody else seemed to notice, but the next time it happened was at home. Thirteen and quite angry at his mother over a small dispute, he suddenly sprouted pitch-black and yet, incredibly soft feathers from his back. But she didn't ...notice. Not until half a year later.

She noticed her son growing .. restless. More impatient, more irritable, more ... something she didn't recognize. The constant need to trump over others, even his own mother was showing and he had only little resistance to it. He...had edges that didn't go unnoticed in school, so he drew attention to himself - unwanted, mostly. Fights broke out and at first it quickly showed Silas had no idea what he was doing, but his mother - hopeful to grant her angry little boy an outlet for his anger, signed him up for boxing lessons. Six times a week. And it turned out he wasn't half bad, really - eager to train, eager to grow, eager to be the best.

Silas did calm down somewhat, but defeat was never acceptable. All the way through school, highschool and even afterwards. It took the Satyr two years to find him and introduce him to Camp Halfblood, but when he did, everything made sense. Son of Nike. Did have a nice ring to it and explained the urges Silas hadn't quite been able to categorize. His mother ... understood, too, as much as she was able. Silas dropped out of highschool when recruited by an MMA coach who promised him the world on a silver platter.

He didn't lie ..per se. Music was never quite abandoned, but his training sessions after signing with the coach were inhuman. A normal young man probably wouldn't have even been able to attempt that schedule, but Silas rocking it only impressed the coach further. Three years later, he made it into the UFC, but ... missed the title by just a few points. Loss never quite sat well with him, so Silas quit fighting that night.

Next step, police academy, officer, detective. Silas never half-assed anything. When he signed up, he did so whole-heartedly with no remorse and no prisoners taken. Well, not quite literally, but .. it would take a lot to stop him this time. Due to him quitting school early, he ran into some issues, but nothing effort and puppy eyes couldn't fix. He rose up the ranks quickly, p1 ... p2... nothing could stop him. Even losing his heart to a fellow officer didn't stop him. Not that they needed any stopping, because sure - it was somewhat frowned upon because officers involved with another could pose potential risks or weaknesses, but they stood strong.

Up to the point where they felt ready to adopt a child. A cute, beautiful little girl. His partner put his own career on the back burner for it and Silas made the best of it. Detective in six years. New record. Life was good, life was fulfilling and sweet and he enjoyed every second of it, but he made a great mistake that would cost him everything he held dear. He took work home with him.

And it was that kind of work that pulled in all the dark, rotten souls that only had one thing in mind. Destroy. He came home late on a Friday night, his apologies via text had gone unnoticed and Silas assumed that was due to his husband being ...unhappy, so on the way home he picked up flowers and chocolates, only he didn't expect to find his life in literal shambles in the living room.

It wasn't even anything special they wanted. Money and revenge. It was always either of the two, though sometimes both. Silas found them and brought them to justice, but ... would it ever be that? Just? A life behind bars in exchange for two beautiful souls? Nah. And yet, loss never quite sat well with him, so Silas quit the police that night. Unsure where to go from there, especially now that grief hit him twice as hard after suppressing it for months during his chase, he retreated from.. everything.

Locked up at home with only himself, his thoughts and his guitar... he found a new, old outlet. He'd played for his family sometimes, but other than that he didn't touch it in quite a while. Three weeks later he had a contract and a published album and it would be a lie to claim his story didn't speed up his walk of shame fame. The next years were ... a blur. Music, concerts, albums, solitude... and recurring dreams he chose to ignore. The urge to take over the music industry overnight still there, but over the years of Silas just ... existing in a life he felt was no longer his, he'd grown somewhat calmer.

But these dreams refused to leave him alone. His mother's chants in his ears even during the way when he tried to make music. So loud, almost blinding... so he gave in.

THE ONE WHERE . . . I INTRODUCE Y'ALL TO LEO!

SOOOO…i have mentioned leo in like, 90 different posts atp and never actually made a "leo intro" (mainly bc i have weird feelings ab sharing him heavily to the rest of the world lol) but! i figured now would be the best time to get into explaining him to y'all.

LEO , commonly given the last name SCOTT (depends on the dr!) is actually originally the main character's love interest in a hockey romance book i've been in the process of writing. after getting #sickandtired of annoying ass book men i gave up and began drafting one of my own. the main character is literally me (i mean, for christ's sake her name is sloane mackintosh,) and eventually, i began thinking of him in other "au"s (i used to do this a lot on wattpad - i mean DRs but the term AU is usually more digestible to ppl that may not be aware of reality shifting. Anyways.) and began kind of placing him in everything. a list of the drs he is my love interest in is follows;

BETTER CR : (fc silasj2004*) the hockey romance book pretty much as a dr. small changes occur but basically he's the exact same as leo in the book lol

PARENT DR : (fc jack schlossberg. yes. i am one of those girlies. i am not ashamed! at least he has morals + a backbone y'all this could be much worse) the "backstory" is my better cr dr. i'm now a mother of 3 (amelia or mimi, aged 5, giselle or gigi, aged 4 and i'm pregnant with vincenzo, our final kid,) and it follows our life after what would be the events of the book. i sort-of made it also as like a WAG dr in a sense bc leo is a professional hockey player! (but he retires 2 years before this point in time so idk where my thought process is w this lol)

FORMULA 1 DRIVER DR : (fc pato o'ward MY!!!! mclaren man ln4 U ARE NOTHINGGGGGGG) leonardo dempsey, son of actor patrick dempsey (my forever celebrity crush ugh he's so fine) and driver for aston martin aramco f1 team under #99. i essentially took l*nce str*ll's daddy's boy backstory and gave it to leo bc he is indeed a daddy's boy. the only dr leo and i are enemies to lovers bc i'm too obsessed w him otherwise LMFAO

MARVEL DR : (fc marcello hernandez (MY MAAANNNN)) leo scott, secretly the speedster superhero 'comet'. hired by my dad as essentially a bodyguard (leo's not intimidating AT ALL idek how the hell this is supposed to work LMFAO) as comet and knows me out of costume as his sister's roommate (mj is also in every dr ever and actually is here in this cr. i can never leave her out i love her DOWN) basically marichat vibes (god i miss marichat)

POP STAR DR : (fc marcello hernandez, again) leo sinatra, nepo baby great-grandson of frank sinatra (there's a whole, incredibly large bit of lore ab this LMFAO + he's also a great-grandson in my better cr dr too bc i need my man RICH!) and Saturday Night Live cast member. basically i go on snl and immediately fall in love. i've stolen the 'unlikely couple' weekend update sketch for us & he does domingo, which is my song lol we're funny for it idk

i'm missing like, 18 other drs that i can think of but some important info about him;

he's half oaxacan mexican. i've tried my damnedness to find a way to make it obvious but when i was 'designing' him (aka drawing him out) i used jack, silas (*NOTE: he is leo's typical fc if i don't have an designated one for him) and marcello as references to make him look the most like him as i can. the fcs are kind of loose for him but i need a way to like fully visualize him. so. yeah. his 'color palette' (weird way to put it but idk how else) makes him tanner than all three of them i fear. all of the fcs i use (other than jack schlossberg but like. idk his main celebrity lookalike in the better cr is him so i kind of had to) are latino, but i feel like it never ever properly translates when i talk about him bc his name is fucking leopold scott. like. huh.

he's also tall AS FUCK lol and built like a tank lowkey (think tom welling clark kent GOOD GOOGLY MOOGLY) but it's mainly bc he's a hockey player. in every vers he's like. 6'3. shortest he is is w marcello as his fc and even then he's 5'11. (note in pop star dr he gets a lot of comparisons to jacob elordi for some reason??? idk my fans are weird)

he's got big brown baby cow eyes. every. single. time. like that is this man's defining trait and you know what? i would not change that for the world lol

his position in hockey is a goalie! he uses the number #29 and plays for our college and later for the new jersey devils before being traded to the anaheim ducks. after he retires he becomes a firefighter!!!! (which is sooo hot btw)

aka - chocolate clovers ♡

Inspired by midnightmah's ship intros !

Treylas (or chocolate clovers, I use them interchangeably), is one of my oc x canon ships between Trey and Silas, who's twisted from Mary Sanderson from Hocus Pocus. This post will simply be me rambling on about their relationship and sharing facts that won't make it into my oc intros.

◇How did they start?◇

During the culinary crucible, Silas, Trey, and Kalim were paired up together. Silas knew of Trey, but they had never really interacted up till then. They both sort of bonded over their baking prowess, and Kalim let it slip that Silas loves chocolate. From that point onwards, Silas noticed Trey a lot more and vice versa. And the two started to talk to each other a lot more, too. Up until fall, Silas had seen Trey as just a friend, even acquaintance, but one morning, Trey suddenly gifted Silas some chocolate cookies he made. And that's what made Silas fall in love.

◇How are they doing now?◇

Silas had never really made any friends. This was due to his monotone voice and his scary face, but those were things he couldn't control! Almost everyone at NRC was intimated by him. But not Trey. In fact, Trey would even tease Silas sometimes, barely worried about Silas's reaction. If it was anyone else who was teasing him, Silas would have been annoyed, but for some reason.... he liked it when Trey would tease him.

Throughout fall, Silas tried his absolute best to hide his crush on Trey. Silas would always hide his smile whenever Trey would talk to him, and he'd try to act calm whenever Trey would touch him. Almost every single thing Trey did would make Silas blush and have to hide his face. It was a miracle that Silas was so good at hiding his emotions. As for Trey, he loved being around Silas. Even though he was slightly frightening, Trey could sense that Silas had a softer side to him. They found themselves enjoying each other's time more and more as the school year went by.

As the days went by, both guys found themselves falling more and more in love with each other. And Silas could confidently call Trey his friend.

At this moment, Silas and Trey are not a couple. The two still have yet to confess their feelings for each other. Will they do it in the future? I guess only time will tell...

◇Random Facts◇

Trey loves baking for Silas. He loves to see his reaction to what he makes. They also bake together sometimes.

Trey is one of the only people who is allowed to touch Silas. He dislikes it when most people touch him, but Silas actually kinda likes it when Trey touches him.

Silas actually becomes a little playful around Trey. He sometimes teases Trey and even steals his glasses if he's confident enough.

with the amount of time I've been in fandom for it's atrocious I've never gotten tumblr but here we are, intro post (do people do these??send help)

★I love love lovee the Magnus Archives (haven't started listening to tmagp yet) and I'm getting into other audiodramas too, mainly Malevolent

★I LOVE horror and everything that regards it, (current fav horror movie is probably Incantation, fav horror book Exquisite Corpse) and I'm writing my own little thing too, called Post Tenebras, which I might post about in future (psychological horror mostly)

★I'm a huge literature nerd, my main topics of interest are romantic, decadent and gothic literature, (my fav book ever is Frankenstein) as well as ancient Greek and Roman mythology

★I adore lots of genres of music, mainly from the '60s-'90s, especially glam rock and new wave, my fav singers/bands are David Bowie, Tears for Fears, the Doors, Queen, plus some older Italian singers, mainly De Andrè and Mina
