Could you do a Miguel O’Hara x wife!spider reader, when he lost his daughter he lost her too until they meet during the start of spider society, and he’s smitten with her and they have a baby who’s friends with mayday and she calms down Miguel when he starts to get anger at miles and guides miles. Also to see he’s smitten with her and their baby who is Gabriella.
I don’t know if this is what you meant but hopefully it is (:
My Spanish is prolly shitty because I don’t remember junk from Spanish class but I tried 😭 correct me if anything’s wrong cause I only speak fluent English and Hindi
His two sweet girls
Tumblr media
He tried to find an answer for years on how you survived but Gabriella didn’t, coming up with nothing. He was happy you were alive, of course he was. But he wished Gabriella was with you both.
“Miggie, I think we should have another child.”
“What..? What if I can’t protect them? What if they die just like Gabriella?” He said, voice shaking slightly.
You flinched at his voice, trying to calm him down.
“It’ll be good for us. I love and miss her too. Every single day. And don’t you remember how she said she always wanted a baby sister or brother? You can protect them, because it’s not your fault she died.”
He stayed silent for a while. After a lot more talking and thinking, he agreed.
And that was last year, your baby now a year old, and your marriage stronger than ever.
Your daughter was also friends with Peter B Parker’s baby, Mayday. She played with her a lot, and had spider like powers. She liked to climb walls and ceilings with mayday, making it a chore to watch them both.
One day, Miguel started yelling and getting pissed off while you were trying to put the baby to sleep.
“Miggie.” You said, everyone turning to you. Miles looked in confusion.
“Ay, Vuelve al apartamento, mi amor.”
(Go back in the apartment, my love.)
“Es ese el niño de 1610?”
(Is that the kid from 1610?)
“Sí, por favor solo entra. Estaré callado.” He grew aggravated.
(Yes, please just go inside. I’ll be quiet.)
You sighed, walking towards him. He cocked an eyebrow.
“What are you doing?”
“Quit being so hard on him. He’s a kid.” You handed him your guy’s daughter and he sighed as your baby climbed up on his shoulder, then climbed down and went over to Hobie. Hobie picked her up and started playing with her, which made you laugh quietly.
“Look, Miles, you don’t get it. You can destroy your world if you do this.” He continued.
“You just expect me to let my dad die?”
“I lost my dad. And my daughter. We’ve all lost something, but it makes us who we are. Time heals all wounds.” You said.
He stayed silent for a moment.
“You might feel guilt, but you have to understand that that’s just the sacrifice of being who we are. We all lose somebody, and that’s okay. And you may never get over it, but if you save him, your whole world collapses. Your dad dies, your mom, your friends, the people you care about. They all die because you decided to save him.” You continued, and Miguel silently listened to the whole thing.
“Just.. stay here for two days, kid. Then we’ll let you go.” Miguel said.
He stared at the baby hobie was currently throwing in the air and talking to with admiration and love. He loved his two girls, his two sweet girls, and he wasn’t going to lose them again.

The art of flexibility- 141
Based on a request:
hii!! here to make a request if this makes u uncomfortable or ur just not in the mood, feel free to ignore !! 141 x flexible! reader and im talking really flexible. and 141 walks in on reader doing one of these poses just a fun idea i thought of!!
GN!Reader, flexible!reader
A/N: The picture for the poses will be at the end :)
It was a usual day at the base. Breakfast, meeting, training, another meeting, lunch and then working out. But as their day finally was coming to an end, Gaz and Soap wanted to try some new moves out. Ghost said he was willing to watch and Price too, mainly because he was bored. Who would be the subject of the newly discovered moves? You. The only one who fell into the trap of volunteering.
"Alright mate, just stretch a little and then we start to see if what we learned can be used in the field," Gaz spoke as he and Soap smiled at each other. In their minds, you wouldn't be able to fight them off.
You slowly started to stretch your arms and legs, it wasn't anything too advanced, yet. Ghost and Price made small talk as they waited for what the sergeants wanted to show them. Once Gaz and Soap were done doing some basic warmup, they turned to you who by now was raising your leg higher than any of them thought possible.
Price panicked a little, Ghost was more amused but he would not let himself feed your ego.
"Mate, this is literally unfair," Gaz complained as he knew the first move he wanted to try would not work on you. Soap was almost like a child, crossing his arms and pouting just a little. "Fuckin' well, first last week with ya speakin' Hindi and now this? Try 'ard." It was not your intention to show off such skill but you know that you had to warm up and stretch enough for whatever those two had in mind.
Then you arch your back and touch your ankle while doing so. The poor men didn't know a human could even do that. "Alright, Grim, you'll fucking break yourself, stop that." What a concerned father was Price in this instant. Ghost and Gaz moved their head as they watched you arch your back, curious little things they were.
"Price, tell 'em to stop, they are ruining Gaz's and mine moment."
"Quit crying ya baby." Ghost says, never taking his eyes off the weird position you were in.
Price walks to you and then physically stops you, makes you stand up normally and sighs in relief. You look at the men, three of them surprised, confused and amused, the other mad like a child.
A/N: I literally am terrible at describing this.

Honey, our boyfriend drowned!
Barbie dolls: jegulus x gn!reader
Word:5.1k
Summary: lemme set the scene: Regulus' car crashes into the lake on his drive to work most definitely killing him and then some mystique happens and I get too lazy to write actual plot but I add some sad and cute and JUST FUCKING READ IT ITS FUN AND NICE
Warnings: regulus dies (or does he mwhahaahha), lots.of talk of grief and death and blood and nasty and self hatred you and James are going through it, regulus with a cane and long hair, talks of the war but it's the tiniest mention, Barty has attachment issues, there is some cringe bc believe it or not Im cringey as a person so it just happens, regulus speaks Google translate French, James speaks Google translate Hindi, I had so much fun writing this.one and that's so stupid bc Its literally about death but it was a hoot, brotherly love, peter included SUCK MY DiCK OH MY GOD, oh James takes a picture OH and there's a cordless phone but I was personally thinking of the big clunky ones that sat on the wall you know, insinuations of the cave, Sirius says Jesus Christ in shock you say Gods no in shock yodabba dabba, everyone are friends I watched MLP okay everyone loves each other now, take a shot everytime I say warm, you cry, I quit
While you and James were in school, you started dating a boy named Regulus. He was beautiful and graceful. Your relationship continued outside the bounds of the school walls. Once you and James graduated you got a home and Regulus joined you both a year later when he graduated. Domestic life was wonderful for the three of you. And then Regulus died.
It was hard to believe. How could your boyfriend disappear right out from under both of your noses? He left for work one day and didn’t come back. It was like the world paused after that. The walls wept with you both. The house seemed smaller and tighter because everywhere you looked were remnants of him. His books were on the shelf with his writing inside. His additions to the grocery list were still on the fridge. His fancy shoes for events sitting by the door. His winter coat is on the rack. You could still smell his cologne. Maybe that was because James would spray it on Regulus' pillow and clutch it to his chest while he slept. Your day together as a couple consisted of sitting on the couch in silence and staring ahead listening to the clock tick.
His death put a strain on your relationship. You could barely take care of yourselves. How could you love another person when you could barely work up enough energy to cry? So you both floated around the house silently like you were the ones dead. You didn’t talk to James for weeks.
Everyone around you seemed to take a hit from Regulus’ death. Evans and Barty became reclusive, you hadn’t heard from them in months.
Dorcas started bouncing around her friends’ homes, staying the night on a new person’s couch because she was scared to leave anyone alone. They’d slip from her grasp like Regulus did if she didn’t stay with them.
After a few weeks, Mary and Lily took on the role of caretaker. Bringing people dinners and shoving them into the shower so they’d bathe every once in and while.
Marlene tried to crack jokes with people, she was most definitely the kind of person to joke until her pain went away.
Pandora spent all her days sitting in a rocking chair in front of the window. You checked on her once and asked her how she was. She told you, without looking away from the window, ‘I had a premonition about this four years ago. It’s scarier in real life. I can’t just crawl into his bed and press my fingers to his pulse. I’m living in a nightmare.’ You sighed and patted her shoulder, leaving her with the wisest words you could muster: ‘Me too, Panda. Me too.’
Peter is in the nearest Library every day, reading all of Regulus’ favorites. He even came over a few times to borrow some of Regulus’ personal books.
Remus found a French cookbook and started making his way through it one recipe at a time as a way to get up and do something. He said he thought of Regulus with each dish and it made the pain recede like an ocean wave.
Sirius took it the hardest, for obvious reasons. He laid on his couch all day, staring at the bookshelf next to the TV. Remus said he couldn’t convince Sirius to move to the bed. He’d only to get up to use the bathroom. Remus would have to sit next to the couch on the floor and feed him so he didn’t wither away. Remus eventually realized Sirius was staring at the picture of him and Regulus sitting on the shelf. After a long time, Sirius finally moved from the couch, instead taking his tears to his bed. You didn’t see Sirius for weeks.
When Regulus’ funeral arrived it was obvious the impact he left. All 12 of you stared at the empty coffin as it settled into the ground. You didn’t even get the peace of knowing his body was resting in the coffin. They never found it. They found his car in the lake with a massive hole the size of his fancy car on the side of the bridge overhead. The police said his body probably drifted down the attached river into the woods. It was likely his body was scavenged by animals. It did nothing to settle your mind.
Your lover drowned and then was torn apart by wild animals? Great, glad he’s resting peacefully. All of his things were in the car too. The book he was trying to finish during the month of the crash. His bag with his wallet and every other personal item you could think of. He even still had Pandora’s hair clip on the strap. His blood was on the seat and front windshield. Cops said it was impossible for him to have survived, especially with the amount of blood that was lost. He left for work, taking the route he always did, and died in the process.
It took a long time but you all eventually healed from it. Of course, it still hurt when you were reminded of it but you slowly got back to your average life.
Sirius got off the couch. Dorcas slept in her own bed. Marlene finally cried. Lily and Mary started making food only for themselves. Remus put his cookbook on the shelf, next to the picture. Peter moved out of the libraries, finding new books. Barty and Evan even joined you and James on a double date once. Pandora moved away from the window. You and James stopped being zombies dancing around each other. You finally talked it through and cradled the other through the night, Regulus' pillow was shoved into the closet.
You asked your friends for help to pack all of Regulus’ things into boxes. It was terribly hard to move on when his presence was still staring you in the eye. You told Sirius he could stay home but he still showed up. He helped you pack up Regulus’ clothes, taking back the band shirts Regulus stole from him. He even used one as a tissue when he cried about it.
With too many people in your house, you were all able to stuff Regulus into three separate boxes. Remus helped James move them into the attic. even though you wanted him hidden away in boxes didn’t mean you wanted to sell his presence away. You hugged everyone goodbye. It was a sour goodbye, the memory of Regulus’ loss fresh on their minds but happy they got to see all their friends again.
You, along with all the others, had your good and bad days. You’d say an inside joke Regulus came up with and spend the rest of the day crying next to the window. Some days you’d blossom and be like you were years ago. As time went by your bad days became more and more far apart. You and James’ relationship was going strong, you felt like you were in school again. In a positive way.
After a long brunch with Remus and Sirius full of laughs, you and James went home and relaxed. James left to go take a nap and you started reading by the window facing out towards the road that led to your doorstep. After you got through four chapters, James was rising from his nap and kissing you good morning. Though it was really more of a late afternoon, you didn’t correct him. He left to go make himself a snack, still in his pajamas. You continued reading.
As you heard the timer go off for James’ food you glanced up to see if he was getting it. You saw him through the opening, reaching over for the pot on the oven. You moved to look back at your book, pausing when you saw someone on the sidewalk. You were an avid enjoyer of people-watching.
It was a man who left your boots feeling shaken. His hair was longer, reaching down to kiss his back between his shoulder blades. He walked with a limp. He was classily dressed. At the top of his cane was a bird skull. He was dressed in all black and had various silver jewelry hanging from his body. His hair was falling into his face as he stared at the ground. You glanced down at the ground to see his shoes, finding they were just as fancy and put together as he was. You looked back up at his hair, trying to see if you could figure out how he maintained it so perfectly.
As you dragged your eyes up, he shook his head back. His hair flew back revealing his scarred face. There was a scar parting his eyebrow and making a trail across his cheek to his ear. You saw one peeking out from the bottom of his jaw and dipping under his high-collared shirt.
Even with all the changes you recognized him. You sprung out of your chair, flinging your book back towards the coffee table. You heard it clatter to the floor.
“James! Call Sirius!” You yelled as you scattered towards the front door, knocking over items on your way.
“What? Why?” James asked from the kitchen opening. You spun your head back towards him. You probably looked like a frazzled crazy person. You felt like a frazzled crazy person. You were either hallucinating or really watching your dead lover walk down the street.
“Call Sirius, James.” You said, your tone nipping at his hand and making him turn around for the phone hanging in the kitchen. You flung open the front door, ignoring your shoes and the fact the door smacked against the wall.
You weren’t entirely sure Regulus, or at least what you thought was Regulus, wouldn’t run away if he saw you coming. You ran down the concrete steps and your driveway. You ignored the fire the rough ground started on the bottoms of your feet. James stood on front doorstep with the phone pressed to his ear. You caught snippets of his words as you moved to the end of the driveway, staring down the sidewalk.
“I don’t know.” Your chest heaved as your mind caught up with what you were looking at. “Just said to call you.” You stared at the man in black walking down the center of the sidewalk. “Bein’ weird.” You saw the man stop his walking as you stood in his way.
“Regulus?” You yelled. The man stood still. You took a step towards him. James had settled silent. “Regulus? Baby, is that you?” You yelled down the sidewalk. He was standing on the sidewalk in front of your neighbor's house, still staring at the ground. Hr pulled his head up, facing you. Even from a far distance, you could recognize him.
Your body started running before your brain could even tell you to. Regulus picked up his pace, a nice brisk walk. You doubted he could go much faster with his apparent hurt leg but you didn’t care. Your undead lover was on your sidewalk. You picked up your pace, letting your lungs burn. Your heart was burning more, the pain from knowing you’d never see Regulus mixing with the hope that he was really walking down your sidewalk.
“Holy shit.” You heard James say from the first doorstep. “Listen uh, Sirius, I’m going to have to call you back. I think we might be hallucinating right now.” James said. You heard the quiet clatter of the phone on the table next to the front door. You and Regulus stopped with barely two feet between you too. Your chest heaved. You thought your ribs might explode.
Regulus was beautiful even with the scars and obvious dark experiences lingering behind his eyes. You couldn’t imagine what happened in the past year and a half but he was still Regulus after all this time. You felt like you shouldn’t cry because he might feel guilty and leave again. You closed the gap between you two, wrapping your arms around him. Regulus sighed with his chin pulled over your shoulder. You heard his cane drop to the sidewalk, his weight leaning into yours.
You gripped the onto the back of his shirt, crying into his shoulder. Regulus held onto you just as hard. You felt James’ arms join yours, holding onto Regulus. After a few moments of Regulus finally feeling at home and you and James realizing you did all that crying for nothing, you all pulled back. Regulus wobbled a second, before leaning on his other side. James quickly dipped down and held Regulus’ cane out to him. Regulus thanked him, leaning his weight back on the cane.
“You’re alive.” You said, sticking your hands your hands out at Regulus. He gave you a one-shouldered shrug.
“There’s a lot I need to tell you,” Regulus muttered, glancing down at the cane. You shook your head, reaching out for him again. You let your hands cup his face.
“Oh let me look at you.” You traced the scars on his face. You tugged lightly on the ends of his hair. You let your hands dip down, tracing over the necklaces. You looked down at the metal skull buckle on his belt, grinning at his fancy shoes again. Even after all the changes, he was still in his stupid shoes.
“You’re so beautiful, my love. I can’t believe you’re alive.” You said, cupping his face again. Regulus hummed and tilted his face into your hand. You pulled back and let James pull Regulus into his arms. James cradled Regulus’ head to his chest just as he used to when Regulus got bad nightmares. Regulus let out a gasping sob, digging his nails into James’ forearm. James closed his eyes and pressed his nose to Regulus’ hair.
  A few minutes later Regulus was sat at the table with his favorite tea hugged between his hands. You watched him from across the table, tracking his every move. It was weird looking at him. Aside from the fact you thought he was dead, it was a stark change.
You got to watch James slowly change parts of himself over the year. The wrinkles near his eyes got more prominent, he cut his hair, and he got new shoes, etcetera. You went from seeing Regulus with hair shorter than his chin to watching him flick it over his shoulder. You saw him with the clear and pristine skin he took pride in the scarred look he was sporting now. Regulus pursed his lips and blew on the hot tea in his hands before flicking his eyes up to you. You didn’t shy away from the fact you were staring at him. James wandered into the dining room his phone pressed to his ear.
“No Sirius, I’m being ser-I’m being for real. You need to get over here now, you’re not going to believe this.” James said, leaning on the doorframe and staring at Regulus. Regulus stuck his hand out at James, wiggling his fingers. James raised an eyebrow ‘You sure?’. Regulus shook his hand, ‘yes.’. James handed the phone to Regulus. Regulus pressed the phone to his ear. He cleared his throat.
“That coffin was uncomfortable, dickhead.” Regulus said before pulling the phone away from his ear and hanging it up. He set it on the table and took a slow sip from his tea.
“I think you just gave him a heart attack,” James said. You hummed, staring down at the phone.
“Yeah I’m not sure if that was the best action but it was a very Regulus thing for you to do so at least some things haven’t changed. “ You said, handing the phone off to James. Regulus closed his eyes as he pulled his tea away from his lips.
Minutes later Sirius was bursting through your door with Remus tailing fast behind him. Sirius peered into each room, making haste to search the house. Regulus set his tea down. Sirius stood in the dining room doorway, frozen in place. Regulus stood from his chair, leaning on his cane and sighing as he did so. He tilted his head to the side, making a small spin to show off his new look.
“Jesus Christ,” Sirius muttered.
“that’s who he looks like, I was trying to place it,”  you said, sighing and smacking James’ bicep. Regulus faces Sirius again, holding his arm out. Sirius closed the space, pulling Regulus into a hug. They rocked side to side. You thought of shooing everyone out but you also wanted to watch Sirius’ reaction. Sirius pulled back and smacked Regulus on the crown of his head. Regulus glared at him, obviously, it wasn’t hard.
“Don’t you ever do that again you dick,” Sirius said, before cupping Regulus’ face. He grimaced and shook his head.
“You look like me in fourth year,” Sirius whispered, running his hand through the length of Regulus’ hair. Regulus hummed.
“I thought so too. I missed home, so I grew it out. I plan on trimming it soon though, not really me.” Regulus whispered. Sirius hummed and traced the scar down Regulus’ eyebrow with his thumb.
“What’d you do?” Sirius asked.
“I ended a war before it started, the usual break year plans. I almost drowned and fought off some weird gremlin things. It’s a story.” Regulus said, waving off Sirius’ look of concern. “I’m fine now, other than the trauma I hold with water. But I managed to figure it out. I just take showers weird now.” Regulus added, once again downplaying the severity.
“Well, your funeral was a waste of time,” Sirius said, turning back around to stand next to Remus. Regulus shrugged.
“Did you guys cry?” You, James, Remus, and Sirius shared looks. You all shrugged.
“Eh, not really.”
“I mean what even classifies as crying these days, you know.”
"So much I got dehydrated"
“After the first couple of days, it was a breeze.” Regulus rolled his eyes and pulled his tea off the table.
“So did you guys sell all my shit?” He whispered into his cup. You and James quickly shook your heads.
“Oh gods, no. It’s all in the attic.” You said, pointing at the ceiling above you. James and Remus left for the attic as you and Sirius chased after Regulus. Regulus took his tea from the dining room to the living room, setting it on the coffee table. You and Sirius stared at him as he settled onto the couch. Regulus propped his cane against the side table, taking a sip from his tea. Regulus lifted an eyebrow at the floor. He leaned over and held your book up.
“Thought I taught you better than to throw books,” Regulus said, setting the book on the coffee table. You crossed your arms over your chest. You scoffed.
“I was a little more focused on my undead lover walking into my garden.” You said. Regulus shrugged and gently set the book down on the coffee table. Regulus kicked his foot up, resting his ankle on his knee. James and Remus joined you with all three boxes. They were all labeled with a different form of his name, three different handwritings. Evan wrote R.A.B. in his swirly handwriting. Sirius had written Regulus in his pristine handwriting. You scribbled down Reggie on the top with an almost empty Sharpie. It looked like you didn’t care but you couldn’t bear to look at the boxes any more than you had to.
Regulus leaned forward, tearing open the nearest box. He started rummaging through it and you wished Evan was here. You couldn’t fold things as perfectly as he could. Regulus pulled out his favorite stuffed animal, setting it on the couch next to him. He closed the box, reaching for the next one. He tore it open just as fast. He pulled out his favorite blanket and book. Regulus threw the blanket next to his stuffed animal. He set the book on the coffee table and as you watched him close up the box again, you sucked in a shaky breath. Regulus lifted his head, looking at you. You turned into James’ arms. James tightened his hold. You hated to get James’ shirt dirty but watching Regulue tear through the boxes you were sure you’d never touch again made your throat close up.
“Sorry did I do something?” You heard Rehgulus’ voice behind you. James’ hand ran up and down your back. You felt SIrius’ hand land on your shoulder.
“No, we’re just processing, I think. Lots of changes today.” James said, rocking you back and forth. Sirius took on the role of changing the subject so you still had a little bit of dignity.
“We need to call the others. I mean this is a big change we’ll have to get every-“ Regulus cut off Sirius.
“Listen, I know okay. I know, but I haven’t felt at home in over a year. I just want to spend today here. Tomorrow I will tell everyone of my resurrection but right now I just want a nap. You and Remus can stay if you want, I really don’t care. As long as I get a nap on the couch, I’m okay. I will gather everyone tomorrow but today is just..” Regulus sighed, a visible weight lifting from his shoulders. “Just for me. Is that okay?” Regulus asked. Sirius stayed silent a moment. He glanced around the living room. He shrugged, looking back at Regulus.
“Yeah, that’s okay.” Regulus slipped his shoes off, setting them next to his cane, and laid across the couch. You pulled back from James, wiping at your eyes. You headed off for the bedroom, tearing open the closet. You pulled down Regulus’ pillow and brought it back to the living room. Regulus gave you a soft smile and gently took the pillow from your hands. He set it down before quickly sandwiching your hands between his. He was warm, not cold like a dead body. Maybe he was real. Regulus stared up at you.
“I learned how to cook traditional French dishes,” Remus said, picking at one of the boxes. Regulus hummed. He was on the brink of sleep but still wanted Remus to feel heard. “You should come over for dinner some night.” Regulus nodded against his pillow. Remus left after SIrius and not long after you heard SIrius’ motorcycle fade away. You imagined Remus’ long legs cramped behind Sirius on the back of his bike and snorted.
“I love you, you know that? Every day I wasn’t here I worried for you. I missed you so much I’d feel sick. I’m sorry I left like that.” Regulus said. Your eyebrows pinched and you sank your teeth into your bottom lip, trying your hardest to not cry again. You nodded. Regulus hummed and pressed your palm to his lips. You sighed and rubbed his cheek lightly. He dropped your hands and laid back on the couch, now with his pillow propped behind his head.
Regulus turned onto his side, clutching his stuffed animal to his chest. He pulled his blanket up to his nose. Sirius stood next to Regulus, brushing hair out of his face and gently rubbing his cheek before roughly smacking him and messing up his hair again. Regulus groaned and swatted his hands away. Sirius pulled back and slipped out the front door.
“Mon Soleil?” Regulus whispered into his blanket. You glanced at James, watching his water line fill.
“छोटा राजा?”  James whispered, his voice fragile. You looked back to Regulus. His eyes were still closed.
When James heard Regulus’ snores next to his ear he slid the bookmark into their place and set it on the coffee table. James leaned his head back, resting it on the couch armrest. You sighed, watching Regulus sleep peacefully.
“Read to me?” Regulus asked. James nodded and grabbed the book Regulus pulled from the box off the coffee table. James sat on the floor next to where Regulus head was on the couch. He opened the book to the page they left off last time, and you felt like James might cry. He started reading and as he went on you started to wish Regulus had given you a task too. You were just standing there watching them. You quietly joined James on the floor. You sat a foot and a half away from James. He paused his sentence for a second to look up at you and give you a soft smile. You returned it and slipped a hand under Regulus’ blanket. It probably smelled like the attic but Regulus didn’t seem to care, snoozing away. You rested your hand on his hip, lightly rubbing it before getting your hand to sit. You wished to hold his hand but one was clutching his stuffed animal and the other was pressing his blanket to his face.
“I don’t think we’ll be getting much sleep tonight.” You whispered, not wanting to wake up Regulus. James turned his head to face you. He reached over and held onto your other hand, kissing the back. He nodded and looked over towards the wall.
“I feel like we shouldn’t go to sleep because when we wake up, the boxes will be back in the attic. Sirius will be back on the couch and we’ll be sitting on the bed sobbing together.”James whispered. You humed. You slipped your thumb under the edge of Regulus’ shirt, pressing your finger into his warm skin.
“He won’t be warm anymore.” You muttered, eyes still caught on Regulus. James’ thumb rubbed against the back of your hand. You wondered if he was testing to see if you were warm still.
“We’ll visit his grave on Wednesday together and wonder if those wild animals were well fed. If it was all worth it. Stare down at the dirt and know six feet under is an empty wooden box with nothing but a copy of Regulus’ favorite poetry book inside.” James’ voice wobbled and you gripped his hand tighter.
“I thought every day that I would wake up and it’d all be a nightmare. I was just dreaming. All those crime shows got to me and my brain inserted me into an episode while I was sleeping. Every morning I’d wake up to find out we were still planning his funeral. I thought I was dead for a while. Thought this was my punishment for not recycling enough or something.” You said, pressing your thumb further into Regulus’ skin. Not to hurt him, but you needed to feel his pulse.
“I can’t go back there,” James whispered.
“Then maybe we go to sleep tonight. Maybe we’ll wake up and he’ll be in bed with us.” You said giving the side of James' face a sour smile.
“Then we start again. We heal again.” James gave you a sad look and stared ahead again. You decided to lighten the mood a little. “And we had a freaky joint dream.” James snorted. He sniffed and stared down at his lap. He kissed the back of your hand again. You focused on Regulus’ skin under your finger. Still warm.
“And if we wake up to find ourselves right back where we started? What then?” James asked, turning his head to face you. You paused for a moment and let his words stir in your head. You thought about getting thrown right back into that dark and messy place.
You didn’t take showers unless Mary forced you and you hated yourself for everything you did. Why didn’t you stop Regulus and tell him to stay home that day? Why didn’t you drive him to work yourself? Why didn’t you deviate from your routine, anything to save Regulus’ life? And when you got over what ifs that could’ve stopped this all from happening, then you hated yourself for not helping James more. Why couldn’t you take care of him? His parents called every day and he could barely pull himself out of bed to answer the phone. You couldn’t look away from the floor to pick the phone up. You picked apart yourself with sharp nails and then let your pieces rot into something awful that barely resembled yourself anymore. All in the name of grief.
“So sorry to break up such a sweet moment, however I am trying to sleep. So if you two could shut up: that’d be preferable. “ You heard Regulus say. James turned his head back, glancing at Regulus. He looked back at you.
“Seems pretty real to me.” You whispered.
Regulus stayed true to his word, calling every one of your friends to your home. When he joined them in the living room there were screams and cries and most definitely noise complaints from the neighbors. Barty fell to his knees, taking Regulus down with him, and sobbed into his hair. He was an ugly crier too, saliva connecting his two lips when he opened his mouth in a silent cry.
Dorcas and Evan were quick to join them on the floor, wrapping Regulus up in a sea of arms. Probably the first body of water he felt comfortable in a while.
Eventually, Regulus made it to his feet, giving everyone their own hug. Peter told him he had books he found that Regulus would enjoy. Mary smacked him on the back of the head and told him to brighten the fuck up before dragging him into a tight hug. Lily told him she had a new bread recipe she’d been meaning to try. Marlene cracked a stupid joke through her tears and lightly punched Regulus in the arm. Regulus made it to Pandora and she pulled him to her chest, squeezing him as tight as she could.
“I didn’t see this.” She whispered in his hair. Regulus gripped her back just as tight.
You all had a warm dinner made by Remus and Lily. Regulus and Sirius share a nostalgic look after the first bite. You didn’t have a big enough table so you all crowded into the living room, gathering around the rug. Regulus earned a spot on the couch. Barty was at his feet, arms wrapped around Regulus’ leg.
James shot up halfway through dinner, dashing across the house. He came back with his camera. He took one shot of everyone in the living room before turning the camera around and squeezing himself into frame too. He labeled them both ‘Regulus’ first family dinner back’ on the backs. He added the date and set the camera and photos on the kitchen counter deciding to deal with them later.
On his way back into the living room, he kissed you before pecking Regulus on the cheek. As he settled back into his seat on the floor, the group broke into ruckus laughter from a joke Sirius made. Sirius beamed and your and James’ eyes shot for Regulus. You found him snorting out his tea through his nose. His pain, disgust, and laughter all conjoined and you knew when you woke up tomorrow, he’d once again be in your bed. Warm.

M pt. 4
Tumblr media
he’s extra moody today and nobody seems to know why
miguel o’hara might just be more interested than just animal curiosity…maybe?
————
the next day you come in late, you weren’t going to but when you woke up your head hurt so bad you just needed to lay in bed for another hour… maybe two.
you were woken up around 10 again by Lyla buzzing on your watch
“Lyla i’m coming in late what’s wrong”
“uhh I think it might be time for a little “chat” with the boss.. like.. now. he’s acting extra… uh peeved today.”
“that’s a nice way of putting it”
“he’s already thrown two chairs this morning.”
“perhaps,” you say as you start to try and get out of bed, “he’s acting that way because he is simply just an aggravated prick.”
“Y/N this is serious, i’m worried i haven’t seen him this-“
she hesitates before using the word to describe her boss
“..moody in a long time. i mean sure he’s always brooding but somethings different, he’s upset i’m worried it might trigger something”
you sigh and then groan before dragging yourself up
“ok Lyla i’ll be there as soon as I can.”
“thank you… please hurry.”
“only he would find a way to drag me in even after giving me the day off.”
you walk through the lobby and everyone seems slightly on edge.
Hobie and Pavitr run up to you,
“thank god you’re here”
Is it that bad?
the boys look between each other
“he threw Peter B in the go home machine.”
“was mayday with him?!”
“no not today, which probably would’ve saved him”
“Ay dios mío, el hombre es un dolor en mi trasero”
this man is a pain in my ass
Hobie looks at Pavitr
“don’t look at me dude i speak hindi not spanish.”
after you walk away Pavitr nudges Hobie
P- “hey do you think after they finally do it they’ll fight more or less”
H- “more.. definitely more.”
you march up to his office and there’s no one around it, it’s cleared it like a fallout zone.
you don’t even knock you just push the door open. he’s sitting on the ledge that his desk stands on. brooding, of course.
unfortunately you were not a spider person so you couldn’t just swing up.
“O’hara would you like to explain to me why i get woken up by Lyla calling to tell me you’re throwing chairs and then i get here to find out you’re chucking people into the go home machine.”
no answer.
“seriously? nothing. ~now~ youve got nothing”
no answer.
“when you’re ready to communicate like an adult i’ll be in my lab. try not to throw any thing or any ~one~ else.”
you turn but he jumps down suddenly and lands behind you. you turn around and find him standing right there.
“you left.”
“what”
“you left that night, you were gone before i woke up and all i got was a note telling me to come in for blood tests
and then you lecture me about communication and not being able to give you this that and the next thing and tell me i don’t care
you couldn’t even bother to mention it”
“we’re not teenagers, i didn’t think i needed to kiss you goodbye and send a sappy text so we could discuss our feelings. we ~sort of~ hooked up big deal”
“wow.. should’ve put that in the note too”
“oh my god you and the note, i didn’t know what to say, i ~thought~ we could talk about it in the morning-“
“-how was i-“
“-but noooo-“
“-supposed to know that-“
“-you had to leave for another one of your dark op solo missions with no warning!”
“oh i’m sorry that’s kind of part of my job description honey”
“honey? don’t you honey me o’hara”
“well i wasn’t aware that i had to explain myself to you”
“Oh por favor cállate niño crecido”
oh please shut up you overgrown child
“i’m the child?! you showed up here last night stumbling over yourself like a teenager who drank too much at a party”
“well at least my heads not so far up my spandex covered ass that i don’t know how to have fun you glorified action figure”
“ah de verdad? ok. Bueno, ¿por qué no empiezas a comunicarte como un adulto y entonces tal vez tengamos algo de qué hablar contigo, mujer demonio?”
oh really? ok. well why dont you start communicating like an adult and then maybe we'll have something to talk about you demon woman
“you know what?”
“no i don’t know! please tell me id love to hear it”
“you’re an ass miguel. i’m going home.”
“oh great just come in late and then leave early sure, tal vez deberías dejarlo entonces”
maybe you should just quit then.
“maybe i should!”
you slam his office door and you’ve never been more greatful for nobody being around because you’re sure they would’ve heard everything
you walk past the boys again
Pavitr “what was all that that about?”
“don’t ask, he’s just in a particularly impossible mood today. he’ll get over it”
Hobie: “are you ok?”
“yeah hobie i’m fine”
“really mate? cuz your eyes are red. and we didn’t have that kind of fun last night far as i know.”
“i’m good, you should be getting back. if i remember correctly one of you has an 1130 lecture and you, you say wagging a finger at hobie, have band practice.”
the check their watches and curse when they see the time
“See ya y/n!”
you rush to your apartment before the tears that have been stinging your eyes can escape and collapse on your couch again. you spend the rest of the day napping snacking and just watching movies.
you just finished cleaning up dinner when you hear a soft short knock on your door. you figure it’s one of the kids or peter asking you to babysit which both happened frequently
so you open the door, not expecting miguel to be standing right in front of you. you just scoff and close the door in his face. but he just calls softly from the other side of the door
“can i come in?”
“no. was that not clear?”
“y/n please. i fucked up”
“you didn’t have to come all the way here to tell me that”
he groans in frustration, “look if you would just open the door so i don’t have to stand out here like an idiot”
“why so you can stand in here like an idiot instead”
“will you please stop being so childish and just talk to me”
you whip the door open.
“so you went from a sorry excuse for trying to apologize to insulting me in the span in thirty seconds and you thought that would help how?”
he sighs
“you’re right i’m sorry i just wanted to say that-“
“nope don’t care.”
you try to close the door but this time he catches it and let’s himself in.
“what the fuck get out o’hara”
“no! no.”
he grabs you by the shoulders
“all i want to say— is that i am an idiot and i messed up. i should’ve come to see you after the mission was over instead of chasing after anomalies to avoid dealing with the situation.”
you won’t even look at him.
“and that i shouldn’t have spoken to you like that this morning especially at work”
“are you done?”
“no uhm also i didn’t mean to treat you like a child last night or invade your space. i was worried that you could’ve gotten hurt and i handled it poorly. so uhm i’m sorry.. for that”
“did lyla write that for you”
“..no… maybe”
you still won’t look at him so he lets go and sighs in defeat snd starts to head for the door
“o’hara wait”
he half turns back to you
“i guess i didn’t handle everything as well as i could have either so”
“is that what you call an apology”
you look at him with annoyance
“oh cmon i did it”
you don’t budge
“it’s just two words”
you roll your eyes and through gritted teeth you say, “i’m sorry”
he chuckles
“god you’re even more stubborn then i am cariño”
you look uncomfortable at the pet name
“… right.”
“you should go”
he steps towards you
“we still have to talk about..”
“what’s there to talk about. you weren’t in your right mind, something happened, and then it ended.”
“is that all it was”
“i don’t know? can you tell me for certain that that night was more than your equivalent of a drunken nothing”
“i-“
“then we have nothing to talk about.”
his eyes are pleading but your guard is up and you refuse to let him of all people tear it down.
he slips out out the door wordlessly leaving you to finish putting away dishes.

Hi lovelyyyy, I remember seeing ur post about wanting to write something desi x harry potter vibe related and as a desi myself I LOVE THIS IDEA SM and have always wanted to read something like this!!
So I wanted to request - could you do something Severus x reader (who are already in an established relationship), where reader is an indian girl and has a indian boy best friend. They sometimes talk to each other in Hindi (or whatever indian language you speak) so ofc they seem super close to everyone + one day in Potions class he starts teasing her about Severus in Hindi and she starts blushing, laughing and hitting him playfully etc and Severus notices and gets jealous?
Severus can like confront her about it later and she reassures him before she starts expressing her love to him in Hindi, giving translations too and then its just full of fluff
If not dw!! Just really wanna read something desi related and im a killer for jealous severus fics ahah
Absolutely love all ur work btw :)

Severus Snape x Indian! Fem! Reader
Severus clenched his quill when he heard Y/n giggling. Normally his heart would fill with warmth when he would hear her laugh but now that her new friend Aditya was making her laugh, his heart burned.
It had all started a week ago. It was supposed to be a lovely day, just him and his Y/n, enjoying the pleasant weather with him laying on her lap as she gently massaged his scalp. But as they were walking towards the black lake Y/n bumped into Aditya. He told her he was lost as he is an exchange student. As they talked more Y/n realised Aditya belonged from her native place. Now she wouldn't budge from her place even if Severus tugged her sleeve with a pout on his lips as they talked about their favourite places to visit.
He looked up from his notes to see Aditya whispering in Y/n's ear and noticed her cheeks blush from his words. Severus got irritated and scratched his nose as the scowl deepened on his forehead. Severus got up with a huff as soon as the class got over, ignoring Y/n's voice calling his name despite feeling fireworks in his heart at how his name sounded in her voice.
"Sev, wait." The speed of his footsteps increased as he heard her call his name again, the sound of his heartbreaking was louder. He was on the verge of tears the thought of losing Y/n clouded his mind so much he didn't realise when she caught up to him.
Y/n tugged his arm and her heart shattered at the sight of his tear-filled eyes. She went to comfort him by touching his arm but he avoided her touch. His glare was cold. "No need to put up with me. If I have started to feel like a burden to you, you can leave. I won't stop you." He spat the bitter words at her, finding it easier to do than confront her.
"What are you talking about Sev? What's the matter?" Y/n asked trying to hold his hand to calm him. Severus couldn’t retract his hand, he always felt grounded whenever he felt her hand in his.
“You don’t have to be with me because you pity me Y/n. You are free to be with someone you actually love.” he diverted his eyes trying not to let her see his teary eyes.
Y/n tried to pull his chin up but he looked away again. “Sev please don’t look away from me. Tell me what’s wrong?”
“Do you love Aditya?” the way his voice cracked made her heartbreak. He thought this was an endgame and that this will the last time he will get to look into her eyes.
“Oh, Severus.” Y/n tugged him closer and cupped his cheek. “Why would you think like that?” Severus sighed as Y/n hugged him. He gave up all the fight as soon as he felt her hands massaging his scalp.
“I was scared. He is so much better, you understand each other better and you were blushing when he spoke to you"
Y/n cupped his face with both her hands, looking deep into his dark eyes. "Severus, my love, my life…I was blushing because he was teasing me how I act like lovesick puppy around you and it's the truth. Yes it's nice that he speaks my language but you understand me better than anyone."
Y/n wiped his tears "Severus, jab tumhe dekhti hu na lagta hai jaise subah subah ki dhoop mil gayi ho par jab tum nahi dikhte to lagta hai jaise main akele thand main khari hu"
His lips involuntarily smiled at her words. He couldn't understand anything she said but the way she looked at him like he was the only person in the corridor right now.
"It sounds beautiful. What does it mean?" He asked brushing her cheek with his thumb.
"It means that when I see you it feels like early morning sunshine and when I don't I feel like I'm standing alone in the cold."
"I'm so sorry lovie. I let my fear win over my trust. You are always so patient with me, so loving. And I always push you away with my insecurity. Honestly it felt like my worst fear came true when I saw you getting close with Aditya." Severus wanted to embrace her but with so many students in the corridor he was only able to hold her hands.
"Sev-"
"No, let me finish. I doubted your love. You are so kind to me and I doubted you. You take care of me and this is how I repay it by doubting you. I'm so sorry my love." Severus almost wrapped his arms around her waist but retracted his hands quickly noticing eyes on them.
His eyes widened when she placed his arms on her waist. "I'm yours, Severus. I love you so much." She confessed peppering his face with kisses, his chuckles encouraging her more to kiss him.
Severus smirked as he tugged her closer to him but Y/n pushed him away. "Wait, you said you were going to make it up to me for doubting me."
"Y/n'' Severus jokingly groaned. "Ok tell me what can I do to win you back. I will do anything."
"Anything?" She teased him by nudging his nose with hers.
"Anything. I promise."
"Get me chocolate ice-cream in a chocolate dipped cone."
Severus let out a relieved sigh. "For you my love. I'll bring 10 ice cream cones.. maybe more."
"I just want one and promise me that before you decide to have the great idea that I don't love you, talk to me before you decide to distance yourself from me."
Severus guiltily kissed the back of her hand. "I'm sorry, love. Come on, one chocolate ice-cream in a chocolate dipped cone is waiting for us."
"One? You won't be having ice cream?"
"No lovie, I'll take a few bites from your icecream." Severus teased her back by bumping his shoulder with her. He felt like his cheeks warm up when she squeezed his hand, falling more in love with her.

hinata shoyo is one heck of a hunk in college. kada lakad niya, hindi talaga mapipigilan ng mga tao kung hindi sundan siya ng tingin. the way his eyes form crescent whenever he smiles, and it is all the time. he smiles all the time, at parang biniyayaan ang lahat ng nakakakita noon.
he was almost literally shining so bright kahit nakatayo lamang siya at naghihintay ng aya kung saan man sila pupunta ng teammates niya.
yet, this comes with disadvantage. kahit na sanay siyang makipag-usap sa tao, he could not help but feel discomfort whenever people would just barge in their classroom para magbigay ng kung ano. he likes the attention, and he understands, grateful even. pero minsan ay naiilang siya.
it's just... he doesn't have the heart to reject everyone, especially as most of them are literally handmade. he could not break their hearts like that.
so his answer? fake dating.
and that's what yn's here for. katulad na lang ngayon. kanina pa siya nakatago sa likod ng pader, pinagmamasdan si hinata na mukhang hinihintay siya para sa usapan nilang kain mamaya. she was just about to go to him when a group of friend went to him first.
"hinata, pwedeng pa-picture!"
she watched as hinata pushed himself from the wall, smiling at them, his typical business smile. "sure," simpleng sagot ng binata.
a sigh escaped her lips. hindi talaga marunong humindi ito. instead of waiting for them to finish, she walked towards the group. hindi pa man siya nakalalapit ay namataan na siya ng boyfriend, well, fake boyfriend. she could see relief through his eyes, making her think that her decision's just correct.
"love, hi! kanina ka pa?" bungad niya nang makalapit.
"sorry, excuse me." hindi na nito hinintay ang sasabihin ng mga babae. instead, he immediately went to her. tila ba automatic ang paghila nito sa kamay niya, at automatic na rin sa kaniyang ibigyay kamay.
"nagp-picture pa kayo," malumanay niyang sabi para hindi mainis sa kaniya ang mga fangirls nito.
hinata shook his head. "i think we've taken enough. and no, halos kadarating ko lang din."
with that, she nodded her head to the girls direction. kita ang inggit, at the same time admiration sa mga mata nito. "una na kami."
the girls could only nod and smile as they left.
"so, kumusta araw mo?"
nakangiti siyang nag-angat ng tingin kay shoyo. she couldn't help but find him cute as he tilted his head while looking at her. nakatalikod pa itong naglalakad para lamang nakaharap sa kaniya.
"masaya naman. kahit pumasok si de mesa." she sighed. "alam ko kasi gusto kong magdoktor, bakit parang audition ng pbb kapag nagtuturo siya?"
shoyo's hearty laugh echoed. "naging prof ko rin yan last year, minsan gusto ko na lang siyang tulugan."
"i know. kung hindi lang malikot mata niya," she replied with a laugh.
their conversation went on as they got out of the campus. dahil late na ang naging labas niya ngayon, halos iilan na lang ang estudyante sa labas. madilim na rin at tanging liwanag na lang ng buwan at street light ang nagbibigay ilaw.
as they talked, her eyes remained on shoyo. it's almost always like this, lalo kung wala itong practice. silang dalawa, kwentuhan hanggang maihatid siya nito sa dorm niya o minsan kapag may oras pa, kakain sila. palagi silang may topic dahil na rin kay shoyo. his days are always interesting.
"nga pala, nag-aaya sila yamaguchi sa linggo. reunion daw lalo kasi aalis na pa-italy si kageyama next week." umpisa nito.
"really? akala ko next year pa siya?"
nagkibit balikat ito. "i guess sa linggo pa namin malalaman." saka ito sumulyap sa kaniya. "well, kung papayag ka."
dito umangat ang kilay niya. "i always tell you na huwag ka nang magpaalam, ayan ka na naman."
"eh..." shoyo frowned. she sighed at the thought of wanting to keep her to herslef as he looked adorable doing so. "gusto ko lang magsabi."
nanlaki ang mata niya nang kumapit ito sa braso niya, at habang naglalakad sila ay idinantay nito ang baba sa balikat niya. unti-unti siyang huminga upang hindi mahalata nito na nahirapan siya.
hinata shoyo, pwede ba kasing totoong akin ka na lang?
she clenched her fist at the thought. "edi magsabi ka. magsabi ka lang para hindi ako mag-alala, pero hindi mo na kailangan ng permission ko." then that's when she remembered. "at isa pa, linggo na 'yon, shoyo."
"noted, madam!" sagot nito, at umalis na lamang bigla mula sa pagkakadantay sa kaniya.
naiwan siyang pinanood ang likod nitong maglakad papasok sa paborito nilang kinakainan. her eyes melted at the sight of his arms pushing the door, waiting for her kahit na nahinto siya sa paglalakad.
sa linggo ang lakad nito.
sabado, tapos na sila.
fake lang naman kasi dapat eh. nagkataon lang na magkaibigan sila ni yachi at siya ang naisip nitong ipakilala kay shoyo. she could not blame the woman kasi she's known not to fall for anyone that easy. bato siya dapat eh.
sa dami ng nagco-commit sa paligid niya, hindi siya nadala. sa ilang bulaklak na naitabi niya, wala namang feelings na namuo.
pero hindi niya inasahang masyadong mainit si shoyo.
of course, she didn't fall easily. she had done her role very well the very first month, even on the second month as his fake girlfriend. pero lintik, mapaglaro talaga si universe.
who would've thought that shoyo can penetrate the walls she built around herself by being her fake boyfriend?
he was bright enough to lighten up her dull world. his smiles could unite the heaven and hell, and whenever he smiles at her, something snaps. his shoulders were strong enough for her to depend on, at hindi niya alam na kailangan niya pala iyon dahi sanay naman siyang dumipende sa sarili niya.
"dalawang sisig po."
her attention went to him when he guided her towards their spot. mabuti na lang at walang masyadong tao dahil kapag tanghali ay hindi bakante ang pwestong ito.
"wait here. bili lang ako lemonade." lord, ngumiti na naman siya.
naglakad muli palabas si shoyo at wala siyang ginawa kundi panoorin na lamang hanginin ang puting t-shirt nito. mukhang uulan pa yata base na rin sa paglipad ng buhok nito.
simula nang marealize niya sa sarili niyang hindi niya yata kayang makitang ganito sa iba ang binata, alam niyang tinamaan na siya. she could not accept the fact that someday he'd hold another's hand. someone's gonna run their hands on his hair, and they would feel the joy of it.
hindi niya pala kaya.
suminghap siya nang bumalik ito at ibinaba ang inumin nila. "sho," she started.
marahan itong ngumiti sa kaniya. "bakit?"
"sa linggo ka aalis. wala na tayo sa sabado." she decided not to beat around the bush.
"anong plano natin?"
"may nagawa ba ako?" finally, nagsalita ang binata.
sa gulat sa sinabi nito, muli siyang nag-angat ng tingin. "wala. what made you say that?"
mukhang nakahinga ito nang maluwag. "ah." he smiled sheepishly, scratching his brows. "i just thought... i did something."
"wala naman. iyon lang kasi 'yung napag-usapan."
"i figured." tumango ito. "actually, salamat pala sa pagpayag. bago ka pa kasi maipakilala ni yachi, kilala na kita kasi madalas ka niyang kasama last year-orgmates pala kayo."
doon siya nagulat. well, of course she knew him dahil player ito, pero hindi niya inasahang kilala rin siya nito noon pa.
"no'ng sinabi ni yachi na ikaw raw yung ipapakilala niya, natakot ako. you looked intimidating dati, like someone who wouldn't even dare to look at me." natawa ito, parang maraming naalala. "si hirugami nga, binasted mo, ako pa kaya? though fake, boyfriend pa rin para sa paningin ng iba."
"pa'no mo nalaman?" hindi niya inaasahang magugulat siya sa mga sinasabi nito ngayon. not that she's mad. pero hindi niya talaga alam na marami itong alam tungkol sa kaniya. sikat ito, gwapo, mabait-he's a literal star, someone to challenge celestial beings, so paano dadapo ang tingin nito sa kaniya?
"hindi naman pinublicize ni hirugami, huwag ka mag-alala. kaibigan ko lang si hoshiumi, so i heard it from him when she found out girlfriend kita." uminom ito. "but, going back, hesitant talaga ako sa pag-alok sa'yo. ikaw na 'yan, ito lang ako-"
"what do you mean iyan ka lang?" she cut him. hindi niya mapigilang magsalubong ang kilay dahil sa narinig.
mukha namang nagulat ito sa naging reaksyon niya. amusement dance in his eyes as he leaned closer. "ang cute mo." natawa ito, at iniunat ang kilay niya. "relax, i'm confident with my skills. with myself, pero sa'yo, noon hindi. pakiramdam ko may kailangan akong i-prove para matanggap sa tabi mo."
"what are you saying hinata shoyo, have you seen yourself?"
shoyo didn't let go of her cheeks. "have you seen yourself?" he retorted.
natahimik siya. una hindi siya makahinga sa mga sinasabi nito, pangalawa, she likes the feeling of his hands on her cheeks too much.
hindi nawala ang ngiti sa labi nito. "pero sabi ko, bahala na. naging selfish din ako eh, kailangan ko talaga."
natawa silang dalawa sa sinabi nito. give it to shoyo to lighten up everything.
"and everything went smooth. hindi ko inexpect na ganito ka pala. ang sarap palang magpaalaga sa'yo, at ang sarap na alagaan ka." marahan itong ngumiti. "pwede ko bang sabihin sa'yo ngayon ang plano ko?"
tumango siya, hindi makapagsalita.
"can i be selfish once again? pwede bang this time, totoo na? can i prove myself to you? pursue you in a way na malinaw sa'yo kung ano ba talagang habol ko?"
she was left dumbfounded for a few seconds. kanina lang hinihilang niyang sana totoo lahat. sana shoyo was also looking at her the way she looks at him. at ngayon, ito ang sinasabi niya.
is she dreaming? is this okay?
"kung ayos lang sa'yo..." ang tanging nasabi niya.
muli, natawa ito. "no, it's your call. everything, basta nandito lang ako."
"do it." pumikit siya. huminga nang malalim, bago muling tumingin dito. "iextend natin. without holding back. this time, no one will hold back."

“I don’t understand what you want from me, Alistair,” Jas sneered at him as she took a step away from him. She was glad he did not push it and he remained standing from where he was. Jas came up from the basement studio for some fresh air, being inside there for most of her remaining day eventually got her head stuffy that she had to get up for a while. They were practicing all day, after all. Elijah and Gwen came up with her, leaving the men downstairs to yap about whatever.
“I am asking you for another chance,” he sighed. He wasn’t threatening, like Eli described Isaac was a while ago. Alistair was… just there. “Is it really that hard to give? Hindi ka naman mamahalin ni Park in the way you want him to.”
“You think saying all that will magically make me consider giving you another chance?” Jas spat, turning harshly, arms crossed against her chest, afraid that it might move in ways that she did not want to if she did not restrain herself. “I knew you were one narcissistic fuck, Ali, but I never saw you as someone this low.”
“Bakit mali ba ako?” Alistair scoffed, rubbing his temple in frustration. “Tobias Park is using you for your body and you’re just letting him? Does he even love you? It really seems like I’m only one looking out for how you feel!”
“I shouldn’t matter to you!” her voice raised, full of anger that she didn’t care if Gwen and Eli heard her from the inside of Eli’s house. “You didn’t seem to give a flying fuck about how I felt when you disappeared out of no where! You didn’t seem to give a fuck when you decided to just move to LA without even warming me up to the idea of it! You broke up with me out of nowhere and told me you were migrating! Inisip mo ba ang mararamdaman ko noon, Alistair?”
Alistair, once again, just stood there dumbfounded as he watched Jacynthe explode on him. “Sige nga? Why does it matter to you so much about how I feel? Tobi has made me feel more important than you ever did when you promised me friendship while you were on the other side of the fucking world!”
“So did friendship mean casually having sex with your friends, now–”
“You’re going overboard, Kuya,” Eli barked at him, yanking his arm angrily, tugging him inside of the kitchen connecting the backyard to the rest of the house.
“Hey,” Gwen hummed, pulling Jas for a hug as she held back tears. “I don’t want to apologize for what my brother did. It’s not my apology to make.”
“You don’t need to consider him in anything you decide to do,” Gwen continued, holding Jas’ shaking figure when she finally broke into tears. “I will talk to him, alright?”
Before they could even hide the aftermath Tobias was already standing by the kitchen door, looking at the both of them. Jas couldn’t quite paint the expression plastered on his face—did he feel bad? Is he pitying her? Did he do something he shouldn’t? Is he considering leaving her? Whatever it was, it scared Jas, to the point that she hurriedly wiped the tears on her face and tried with all her might to pretend that what just happened did not affect her at all—except that it did, and it was already too late to just hide behind a lie.
“Sinaktan ka ba?” He asked, as he walked towards her and Gwen. Gwen quickly excused himself and left it to Tobi to comfort her.
Jas shook her head, still reading the expression on his face. He was stoic as ever. They were the OA and nonchalant duo after all. It was at these moments where she wished that Tobi was easy to read—that she could just read him like the back of her hand like how it is for her and her friends. But Tobi always had this resting bitch face expression on his face that always made it hard to determine how he felt.
“That’s good,” he hummed, pulling her into a hug, holding her tight. It was only then did Jas realize that she was holding her breath and that first inhale, laced with his Dior Sauvage perfume that she recalls they bought together when they went shopping for Bianca’s gift, never failed to remind her how thankful she was that she could still breathe. “Gusto mo na umuwi?”
Jas glanced inside the house from the kitchen window, she could hear the faint sound of Eli reprimanding Alistair for what he had just done. Actually, reprimand would be an understatement. Elijah was furious, she was shouting at him and Leon was trying to pull her away from the situation. Elijah has been through a lot today, Jas takes a mental note to apologize for adding up to it.
She then looked back at Tobi and nodded. She didn’t have the face to present to her friends and Tobi’s friends after causing a scene. She thought that was enough shame for the day—going back there would only make her feel more embarrassed that she even talked to Alistair in the first place when she fully knew that she shouldn’t have.
“Okay, here are my keys,” Tobi told her calmly, unclipping his car keys from his belt loop and handing it to her. “Ako na ang kukuha ng gamit mo sa studio. Antayin mo nalang ako.”
“Kailangan ko pa magsabi kay Eli na aalis na ako–”
“I’ll have Eli come with me kapag lumabas ako,” he hummed, before pressing a kiss on her forehead. “Is that okay with you?”
Jas nodded before Tobi smiled at her softly, pressing a soft kiss on her lips to which, though it was short and sweet, she still managed to kiss back. “Okay,” he says. “Wait for me in the car.”
She did what he told her to do, there was nothing else to do after all. She was too ashamed to go back in there to collect her stuff, it’s a good thing that Tobi offered to get it for her because it would’ve raised hell for her to go within a 2 feet radius from Alistair after their encounter earlier.
Tobi tried to avoid eye contact with anyone but Eli and Leon by the time he was back inside the house. He knew he had to get their stuff as soon as he could to keep Jas from waiting in the car for too long.
“Jas wants to go home,” he mumbled to Eli, showing her Jas’s mini Louis Vuitton bag. “She wants to talk to you though bago umalis.”
Elijah nodded understandingly. She couldn’t blame her after all. Being faced with confrontation all of a sudden was overwhelming—she had first hand experience of that just a few hours earlier.
Jacynthe, on the other hand, sat in the passenger seat of Tobi’s Aston Martin, rehearsing her apology for Elijah. She wasn’t one to be nervous around Eli but after everything that happened, sitting there in silence while she waited for Tobi to come made her antsy. She knew Eli has been going through a lot—a lot more than she is. It was rude to cause a scene like that and add more to her stress. The wedding is coming up, she can't be one more problem to deal with.
“Honey?” Eli’s soft voice muffled through the closed windows. Jas immediately unlocked and pushed the door open. Elijah immediately pulled her into a hug before she could even start her apology. “I’m sorry about Kuya Ali. I didn’t think he’s still going to bother you! I already told him to stay away from you!”
“It’s… It’s my fault,” she mumbled against Eli’s shoulder. “Don’t worry about it. Kasalanan ko naman—”
“No, honey!” She argued. “Kuya Ali is just a little shit. Magpahinga ka na, okay?”
Jas nodded before Eli turned to Tobi who was still standing behind her with Jas’ bag. “Kuya, sa bahay n’ya okay? Magpapahinga!”
Tobi laughed at her innuendo, which made her hit his arm harshly. “Seryoso ako! Baka gumawa pa kayo ng milagro, ay nako! Done for the day na kayong dalawa narinig ko kayo kanina noong lumabas ako ng studio!”
“Sabi kasi sa’yo!” Jas whined, stomping over to Tobi to pinch his side.
“Bakit ako? Ikaw ang maingay tapos ako ang sinisisi mo!” Tobi cackled, pulling Jas into a hug.
From everyone watching inside the house, Amir and Leon mostly, it wasn’t hard to see how in love Tobi looked whenever he looked at Jas. It wasn’t hard to tell—Tobi never looked at anyone that softly, eyes literally turning into hearts whenever he looks at her. It’s the same look they see themselves having whenever they look at their respective partners. It would be a big fat lie to say that isn’t love.
“Can we drive for a bit more?” Jas hummed, playing with Tobi’s calloused fingertips while the other held on the steering wheel. “I’ll pay for your gas. Let’s just not go home muna.”
“Where do you want to go?”
“I don’t know,” she mumbled, tracing the sides of Tobi’s hand. “Hindi pa ako ready umuwi.”
A lot of things bothered her. From ignoring her dad constantly to being one of Eli’s headaches today—she hasn’t been a good daughter or a good friend—not even a good person probably. The thought of it only diminished her worth to be loved—because if she isn’t good, what is there to love?
“What’s bothering you, pretty?” he hummed, keeping his eyes on the street lights lit as he turned to change routes. Normally that would’ve scared Jas, luckily she’s never had to be in that kind of sticky situation but threats did come along once in her life. This is why she always preferred to drive herself to places—well, until Tobi.
“Nothing,” she replied quietly, focusing on fiddling with his hand. “Ayoko palang umuwi.”
“Then something is bothering you,” he chuckled. “Sabihin mo na.”
“I don’t feel like a good person,” she replied so quietly it came out as a whisper.
“Only a good person would worry about not being a good person, Jas,” he replied curtly. “Besides, what’s the point of pretending we’re all nice? We’re not saints at all, anyway. May mga tao at may mga tao na hindi maganda ang tingin sa atin. Someone is always going to favor someone else over us. Someone is always going to wish you bad things.”
In reality, Tobi felt bad that he was preaching that to Jas when he was conflicted about it too. After living his entire life watching his brother get favored over him, he still doesn’t know how to accept it. He’s still trying to be nice, hoping that one day he’s going to wake up and his parents love him a bit more to the level of Leon’s. It was hypocritical.
“Saints don’t fuck each other in the bathroom anyway,” she sniggered bitterly. “I mean, at least I’m getting good sex, no?”
“Still want to get married sa church though,” she mumbled as they passed by one. “Kung ikakasal nga ako.”
“I’ll marry you there then,” Tobi chuckled, interlacing his hand with hers before giving it a light squeeze. “When you’re single and thirty.”
“Don’t keep my hopes up,” she chuckled, sandwiching his hand between the both of hers when she realized that his hand was cold. His hand was always cold for the record, but the airconditioning of his car made it even colder, she thought it was concerning. He could be anemic, she thought.
“Hindi nga!” Tobi laughed at her. “I agreed to it. Gagawin na’tin ‘yon kapag wala ka pang relationship by 30.”
Jas could only smile. Maybe it’s not too bad to be delusional every once and a while and believe him. So, she did.
“Pasaan tayo?”
“Intramuros,” he replied shortly.
“‘Di pa ba sarado?” Jas asked curiously, glancing at the time display on the dashboard screen. “It’s almost 8:30 na.”
“The Myoi’s own the night touring service, Jacynthe, calm down,” he chuckled, tugging her hand to press a soft kiss on the back of her hand as they took a turn towards the parking lot.
Tobi made some calls before he opened the door to get out. Jas was about to open the door herself but Tobi had already jogged around the car to open the door for her. The romantic gesture made her blush. She was lucky the parking space was dimly lit that Tobi didn’t notice.
Tobi reached for her hand, interlocking them. They rarely ever hold hands whenever they go out. In the car, they do. But once they’re out, there’s always been this awkward distance between them, somehow to remind everyone who can see them that they were friends and couldn’t be anything more.
Jacynthe fought the urge to think it was going to be something more. After all, it’s Tobi, one of the most strong-headed people she’s ever met. He doesn’t change his mind easily.
Tobi managed to take one of his zip-up hoodies in the trunk before handing it to Jas. He always had extra clothes in his trunk for whenever his bandmates would spontaneously drag him to the gym with them after practice. Perfect timing, he thought, because Jas would be the type of person who would rather be too cold than carry a jacket around. Admittedly, he would get annoyed whenever he had to take his jacket off and give it to her because the shops in BGC got cold, but it would be a lie to tell that he hadn’t got horny seeing her in his clothes with the amount of times they had to rush home so he could fuck the living daylights out of her while she was wearing his hoodie. He grew to like taking his jacket off for her or just bringing an extra for her even if it meant that he’d be the one carrying it around.
“Amina Myoi really built a tourism empire ano?” Jas hummed, as soon as got inside of the place. Sila lang ang tao na it-tour ngayong gabi. It was well past their working hours, but Tobi managed to pull some strings for one last tour before they closed.
Tobi nodded. His mother's side of the family, his mom especially, was responsible for greatly expanding the empire in tourism in the country that the Myoi’s have long started. She and Soren Yang have been business partners long before he was born. After getting arranged to marry the engineer son of one of the most successful architects in the country, the empire began to expand with multiple resort and hotel projects all around the country. Balesin might have been one of their biggest projects. The acquisition and development of the island from start to end almost sent Park Group and Myoi Tours bankrupt, which back then resulted into Amina Park agreeing to arrange one of her children to one of Soren’s to ensure that Yang ENT. and Yoon Hotels will back their businesses up if they do end up in a situation.
Tobi was too young to understand what was happening back then—what kind of deals with the devil his parents were making. He just knew it was for work and he couldn’t say anything about the jobs that feed them and provide all their luxuries. He was young. Looking back at everything now, with Elysia Skyline finally being put into work in Cebu, all those deals were slowly resurfacing. Only then did he realized how fucked up everything was.
The very empire that established their family names was the very empire that put their children in a position to break.
And that was fucked up.
“I’ve never been here ng gabi,” Jas chuckled, rubbing circles on the back of his hand.
Jas was very lucky to never have been forced into anything her parents wanted. She was free to do whatever she wanted and would still have a home to go to whenever her decisions weren’t very good.
“We got lucky nandito pa si Kuya Herman,” he smiled, leaning over to kiss her temple.
“Thank you,” she smiled, leaning her head against him shoulder.
“Girlfriend n’yo sir?” a guy asked. Tobi chucked at him and shrugged.
“Bakit? Bagay ba kami Kuya Herman?” he asked playfully, resting his head on top of Jas’.
“Aba s’yempre sir!” Kuya Herman replied enthusiastically. “Bagay na bagay kayo! Nililigawan n’yo ba sir?”
“Ayaw nga ako ligawan, kuya!” Jas playfully replied.
“Nako sir, mauunahan ka kay madam kapag hindi mo pa niligawan!”
“I doubt,” Tobi chuckled, placing a soft kiss on the side of her head once again.
Jas found it annoying that he was so complacent that no one will come while he’s still there. Mainly because it was true even if there’s on label on it.
She doesn’t know if it hurts or if it was annoying.
“Jacynthe,” Tobi called. Jas turned to see him and Kuya Herman a good 5 feet away. She found herself standing in front of the San Agustin church, just staring at the architecture in all its glory.
“Are you okay?” he asked, jogging back to where she stood.
“Why are you calling me by my name?” she asked, blankly. She hasn’t called her by her nickname since the incident a while ago. It was evident thay above everything else, it bothered her too.
“Your name is Jacynthe,” he smiled, innocently. Well, he knew what he was doing. He was jealous, and out of irrationality, he hasn’t been calling her such because for a good moment, he was insecure. As much as he hated to admit it, Alistair got into his head.
He ran into him when he went out just a few minutes after Jas did. He was petty. He told him things he had to convince himself he wasn’t. God. He knew all of those things already but hearing it from someone else? That he doesn’t deserve Jas?
He almost melted into the cracks of the floor he stood on as soon as he saw tears form in her eyes.
“Are you going to leave me?” Jas asked softly, voice breaking as she avoided his gaze. “Why are you acting like this?”
“Pretty,” he sighed, realizing the effects of what he had done, moving to pull her closer.
“I’ll go home at your place tonight,” she proposed desperately, holding both of his hands to wrap around her waist. “You can have me anyway you want, Tobi. I promise I rejected him right away—”
“Hey, pretty,” he panics, removing both his hands from his waist to her face. “Hindi ako aalis,” he says firmly. “Kakasabi ko lang na pakakasalan kita dito tapos iniisip mo na iiwanan kita?”
Jas looks up at him finally, eyes welling with tears. “Nothing will make me leave you, Jas. Unless of course, you want me to.”
Jas didn’t say anything but wrapped her arms around his neck as she cried. She had already been crying for more than she should today. She really hopes the makeup artist tomorrow will find a way to hide it.
“I’ll let you rest muna, hmm? Go home muna sa White Plains tapos susunduin kita bukas pa-Aurora, okay?”
Jas nodded carefully at him. “Good girl,” Tobi replied before pressing a soft kiss on her lips. It was short and sweet… addictingly sweet, she craved for more and more but she couldn’t quite ask for it.
“Let’s go?” he hummed, hand moving to reach for her hand once again.
Then there was quiet, deafening quiet, as they walked through the equally eerie and beautiful halls of the century old buildings.  “I wasn’t raised religious,” Tobi mumbled out of the blue. “I only ever went to ask God for anything noong inoperahan si Bianca. She was very young with a heart disease that could cost her life if she was left untreated. That time no one would take her operation because she was only days old and the risks were very high. I went and prayed to God with Leon. Dahil hindi naman nga kami tinuruan ng ganoon, hindi namin alam kung anong sinasabi namin sa loob ng chapel ng Valiente. All I knew was we were begging to God for someone to save Bianca because we were running out of time. But then your mom stepped in.”
Jas looked at him attentively. He was just speaking quietly, pretending to listen to what Kuya Herman had to say about Philippine History. Tobi had it all memorized already by the amount of times he’s been here to clear up his mind in the past few years.
“All I knew from your mom back then was that it was her first high-risk surgery. She had only gained her license to perform surgery a few months prior, ayaw pa noon ni Mom and Dad na pumayag but Leon and I had to beg them to let her because she was our only chance to save Bia. Flying her to the States would be a higher risk. But then your mom managed to save Bianca. I began to pray a lot more after that pero parang hindi na ako pinapakinggan ng langit. At first I thought naubos nalang ang mga panalangin ko noong niligtas si Bianca, but I grew to think that maybe it was Leon that they heard and not me.”
Jas couldn’t help but squeeze his hand. Tobi never opened up about his feelings. He’d occasionally talk about how things happened in his life, childhood memories and the trivial things that he remembers, but he never talked about how he feels. It was a big thing that he was saying all these. It must’ve weighed heavy on him for him to finally say it.
“People always picked Leon over me. I mean maybe except Amir but we’ve been friends long before Leon was born. Leon was everyone’s golden boy, I’m pretty sure the world would kneel before him if he asked and that’s never going to happen for me. Noong nakita kita na kausap si Ali kanina, handa na akong kausapin mo ako at sabahin sa akin na babalikan mo na s’ya but it only broke me when I saw you crying because of him.”
“You thought I was going to leave you?”
Tobi nodded. Jas’ heart dropped to the floor at the confession.
“I don’t have nice things given to me often,” he hummed. “I thought the only good person that I managed to hold was going to be taken away from me.”

Eli was a sight to see on stage. Jas has never seen her smile like that before, you really do glow like nothing else when you’re doing something you love with the knowledge that someone loves you above anything else, right? Hearing Leon confess his love for Eli was an entire level of disgustingly sweet but it’s rotting deep inside of her because she knew she wasn’t going to be loved like that by his brother.
Better to love than not love at all.
Why can’t Tobi just hang on to that? Why can’t he just give all of himself for once? Why can’t he love someone the way he loves music?
At the end of the day, maybe she’s just not that worth trying for.
She loves Ellie. Don’t get her wrong. She loves Eli like her own blood sister. She and Bella somehow fit perfectly into that little sister figure that she always imagined to have and the two of them were never hesitant to accept those positions. Life was better with them, Jas knows it.
But she couldn’t help but be jealous. She spent her entire life craving and chasing after love and she still doesn’t have it while Ellie has love chasing every strand of her hair. Love just naturally grows with her no matter how afraid of it she is. She’s always proud that Ellie eventually learned how to accept and understand love. But damn. When is it going to be her turn?
“I’m sure kilala n’yo kung sino ang sunod naming alas,” Kyle announced, laughing as he glanced towards me and Leon. “Dahil wala si Leon, syempre babawi kami sa inyo. Kilala n’yo si Honey?”
The crowd roared as soon as Kyle mentioned her nickname. Tobi could not help but smile as soon as his eye caught the mop of red hair from the side of the stage. His heart raced a bit, it would be a shame to not admit. She was beautiful. She was stunning. She always glowed differently under the stage lights; almost as if she belonged there—like she was meant to be there. He didn’t quite understand why she stayed behind production and rarely went on stage when she had an amazing voice and an impecable stage presence. His pretty can devour anyone in stage if she wanted to.
“Ay nakapasweet naman,” Ellie teased.
“The woman who is currently producing half of the songs in our next album, I present to you, Jacynthe Clair Huh!” Kyle jumped excitedly.
“Good luck, Jassy,” Leon cheered her on before she entered on her cue. She stood before a bedazzled white microphone on the stand, something the boys gave her as a gift after their last album that she helped with did very well.
“Hello, ako po si Jas,” she smiled. The crowd went wild on her fingertips. “Hindi po ako girlfriend ng kahit na sino kaya wala akong iyayabang sa inyo gaya ni Eli but I did write a couple of songs for Midnight Covey, so I guess that counts for something right?”
“This is Bagong Tradisyon, sing with us if you know it,” she took off the microphone as she went up to sit from on the tall chair that was placed on stage before her set. Tobi had already switched his electric guitar for an acoustic one and Kyle’s keyboard was moved next to her chair, he was also sitting down at this point. Everyone had already left the stage for their break as they began singing.
The song itself was inspired by the wedding of a friend that both Kyle and Jacynthe had in college. At the point where Jas was constantly getting cheated on, their friends were beginning their love story which started its new beginning just last year. And yes, it was a big fat lie that she didn’t imagine herself getting married. It was all that she longed for when she was young and growing up. She wanted to marry someone who isn't like her father. She wanted someone who will never leave her, love the good things and correct the wrong ones. At first she thought maybe it’d be Alistair—Jesus. She’s glad she didn’t end up with him. After him there were several others that in her feeble little mind, she imagined herself getting married to. Then there’s the most far fetched person she wishes she’d see at the end of the altar—Tobias Park.
The idea of getting married, starting a new life, celebrating every holiday of the year, the birthdays, anniversaries—the idea of never being alone anymore—made her heart happy. It made her happy that someone decided they were going to swear in front of a divine entity that they are not going to leave and they will love her until the day that they cannot anymore.
And she longed for that day to come.
Now Elijah is going to do just that. Before she does. Before anyone in their friend group does. With someone she loved all her life.
Will she ever be in that position?

•Based on this post I made a while back
Also, idk why but I like the idea of Poe randomly saying stuff in Hindi to Ranpo
↷♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎↶
It was a calm day at the agency, or It would’ve stayed that way if hadn’t Dazai finally arrived, 3 hours late, As expected; Kunikida yelled at him for it, Dazai ignoring him like always. Like any other day, it caused annoyance to everyone from the yelling.
“Oh my fuck, both of you shut up.” Yosano said with an annoyed groan. “Just give up Kunikida, you know he’s never gonna be on time unless it has to do with a certain someone he supposedly says he ‘hates’. ” Ranpo said with a sly smile. Poe just looked up with a unsurprised expression. Poe isn’t always at the agency, but when he is he’s always sitting in a chair next to Ranpo’s desk, along with being there enough times, it’s no surprise to him anymore when everyone is being chaotic. Ranpo’s statement caused a little scoffed laugh from Yosano, Kenji, Junichirou and Naomi.
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.” Dazai lied. Yes, dazai is a skilled deceiver, but that doesn't necessarily mean he can't also be a dreadful one. Just as it is evident now, the lie was clearly awful and easily discernible to everyone, including Karl who is literally a fucking raccoon. “Dazai-San, You’re terrible at lying when it comes to this stuff so don’t even try.” Atsushi stated. “See? Even Atsushi can tell, and he’s almost always oblivious.” Ranpo said. “Hey!” Atsushi yelled with an offended tone. “Alright, everyone just drop it. There’s no point in arguing so get back to your paper work.” Kunikida slightly shouted, sitting back down. Dazai just walked away, ignoring him. Ranpo sighed and popped a sour gummy worm into his mouth, stating, "Nope, work is just too dull." “Ranpo, you only have two papers to do, it’s not that bad.” Yosano said. As Ranpo rolled his eyes, he noticed Poe looking at him with a stern expression. Despite Poe having his eyes covered by his hair, Ranpo could always tell what expressions he gives. “Ranpo, writing on two pieces of paper isn’t the end of the world.” Looking back down at his book, Poe’s voice had a hint of annoyance to it that only Ranpo knew. “But it’s boring.” He whined. “Ranpo—” Kunikida started but was interrupted by Poe. “ ऐसे मत बनो और बस उनकी बात सुनो। लेकिन, अगर तुम चाहो तो बदमाश बने रहो, यानी कि अगर तुम कल चलना नहीं चाहोगे (aise mat bano aur bas unakee baat suno. lekin, agar tum chaaho to badamaash bane raho, yaanee ki agar tum kal chalana nahin chaahoge) Don’t be like that and just listen to them. but, continue being a brat if you want, that is if you wouldnt like to walk tomorrow”
That seemed to Shut Ranpo up. Along with the confused faces of everyone around them. Soon shocked took over their faces when they see Ranpo’s face flush with color. They have no idea what Poe just said to him, but whatever it was quickly made Ranpo grab his pen and start his paper work. They notice the seductive grin on Poes face, kind of understanding what could’ve been said.(yes, even Kenji and Kyoka, they are 14, they should know what sex is considering most of us learn that shit I’m fourth and fifth grade)
Never in a million years did they think they’d seen a flustered Ranpo, it was hilarious considering it’s Poe who’s usually flustered easily. “I have no idea what you just said to him, but thank you.” Kunikida said. “What language was that?” Kenji asked. “It was Hindi.” Poe explained. Kenji made an “ohhh” expression. “What did you say.” Yosano asked. “That’s for us to know and you to never find out.” Poe said with a fake innocent looking smile. “Yeah…im gonna go get coffee, anyone want some…?” Atsushi asked while trying to leave so he didn’t have to hear the rest of this conversation. “I’ll take one.” Yosano said. “Me too.” Tanizaki also indicated. “Alright.” Atsushi then left and shut the door.
↷♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎♥︎↶
Id like to think that when Poe starts using explicit words to Ranpo he does it in a different language so no one else knows what he’s saying, which makes Poe saying suggestive comments in public easier. Plus, Poe always finds it amusing to see Ranpo stutter with his words as his face turns red as a result.

┊ one hot arrangement. [seokmin and seungcheol x fem oc]
“I w-was joking!” She exclaimed, and Seokmin only chuckled at her remarks.
“Oh? You were? Would you have preferred it if we were fucking in front of you?”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
title: one hot arrangement word count: 1,236 words pairing: seokmin and seungcheol x fem oc characters: seokmin, seungcheol, fem oc language: english (narration), tagalog (dialogue) genre: nsfw, threesome, polyship, r18+ content warning: contains nsfw and threesome contents.
Rianne rushed home, to hers and Seokmin’s shared apartment. She was astounded to find both Seokmin and Seungcheol sitting in the living room. They were talking casually and stopped when she entered their apartment.
She knew what she read from Seokmin’s messages were true when her boyfriend grinned at her.
“She’s here. Should we discuss things first?” Seungcheol asked as they both looked at her.
Rianne could feel the heat rushing down her spine. She did imagine scenarios like these, unconsciously, whenever she wrote updates from the manhwa she had been working on these past few days. Though truthfully, that was of a different concept where Seokmin and Seungcheol would be fucking in front of her.
“Mukhang ‘wag muna. I could sense her imagination running wild na agad,” Seokmin said as he approached his girlfriend. “How would you like to do this, bubby?”
“What? I didn’t…” She trailed off as she felt Seungcheol moving closer to them. “I-I was…” She swallowed hard as she tried to take a step away from them, but Seokmin caught her by the arm.
“You were? Say it, bub. Ano ‘yun?” His voice sounded gentle, but the smirk was evident on his face.
“I w-was joking!” She exclaimed, and Seokmin only chuckled at her remarks.
“Oh? You were? Would you have preferred it if we were fucking in front of you?”
The answer was quite evident on her face as she blushed at the thought.
“You’re really something, bubby. Pero ayaw mong makipaghiwalay sa’kin? And you even said open ka sa three way?” Seokmin clicked his tongue then he lifted his girlfriend, carrying her in bridal style.
“Seokmin! Hindi na… Please…” She wasn’t scared, but heat was oddly burning inside her as the thought of them both playing with her flashed in her mind. She had only seen that stuff in mangas, which she avoided reading at first.
“Don’t worry, Rianne. We’ll be gentle, really gentle,” Seungcheol said as he followed them to their room.
She didn’t know what took over her. Rianne was extremely against this arrangement at first, but eventually, as they all started making out on the same huge bed, the need to be touched by these men roused inside her. And now he found herself naked and kneeling on the bed between Seokmin and Seungcheol.
“Akala ko ba ayaw mo? Bakit parang nagmamadali ka ngayon?” Seungcheol teased him as he whispered in her ear. He was behind her, his cock poking against her ass hole.
“Huwag mo nang asarin, Seungcheol. F.O. tayo kapag nagbackout ‘yung girlfriend ko,” Seokmin chuckled as he held her girlfriend’s waist. “Go ahead, Rianne. Put our cocks inside you,” he urged her as he rubbed himself against her pussy.
Rianne looked up to him, letting out soft sighs as she grabbed Seungcheol’s cock from behind. Her lips parted wider as she panted heavily, eyes locked on his boyfriend as Seungcheol’s cock made its way inside her. Fortunately, they have done enough foreplay earlier, making it less painful as Seungcheol’s cock stretches her ass hole open.
“You’re so tight,” he grunted as he held onto her hips, just above Seokmin’s hands, making sure to stay still to let her adjust to his size.
“Ahh… Seokmin…” She moaned softly, moving back a bit, unconsciously pressing her back against Seungcheol’s chest as she arched her hips forward. Seokmin’s cock was slowly slipping inside her, stretching her pussy.
Her head fell backwards, resting on Seungcheol’s shoulder as their cocks buried inside her. The two men stayed still as they both let her adjust to their cocks’ sizes. And when they felt Rianne’s hips moving, they both started following her slowed pace.
Seokmin shoved his cock deeper in a painfully slow pace, letting her feel his thick, veiny cock rubbing against her walls. Seungcheol did the same thing while his hand reached for her chest. He buried his face on his shoulder as he cupped and squeezed her breast.
“Unnng… Seokmin…” She moaned as her boyfriend pushed her closer to Seungcheol, his hand around her girlfriend’s neck.
The feeling of being restricted with two cocks thrusting inside her simultaneously was enough to drive her on edge. She arched her chest and bucked her hips up, as if trying to follow their every movement. “Oh, ano? Masarap?” He teased her as he slammed his cock a bit roughly this time, wanting to reach the deepest parts of her.
Rianne could only moan in response as her insides squeezed their cocks. She wanted to move her hips, but the two were holding her still, so she moved her head instead, turning a bit to face Seungcheol. She reached for his cheek and claimed his lips.
Soft, muffled moans brushed past her lips as she deepened the kiss, her tongue making its way inside his mouth. They were in the midst of tasting each other’s mouth when Seokmin thrusted deeper inside her, making her jolt then he pulled her away from Seungcheol, breaking their kiss only to claim her girlfriend’s lips.
The kiss was loud and sloppy and Rianne couldn’t hide as excitement brewed within her. Her hands were on Seokmin’s shoulder and Seungcheol’s arm as if grabbing on them for support as they continued to pound on her.
“Ugh… Hah…” She moaned on Seokmin’s mouth before forcing her tongue inside his mouth. She moved her face closer, wanting to kiss him more as Seokmin sucked her tongue.
Seungcheol on the contrary started playing with her breasts and nipples, pinching and tugging them, confusing her senses as he stimulated her body even more. He shoved his cock deeper, finally increasing his pace as he tugged her hips down.
The bed was creaking loudly with the way they were moving on top of it. His hand then snaked from her hips up to her chest, grabbing her neck and pulling him away from Seokmin. A loud whine escaped her mouth before Seungcheol shoved his tongue inside her mouth.
He kissed him torridly as they thrash their hips faster, shoving their cocks deeper and abusing her sweet bundle of nerves even more. Seokmin started slamming his cock deeper, pulling his cock halfway out before shoving it back swiftly.
The heat burned inside her as they abused her holes, hitting her sweet spots continuously. She could feel the heat dragging her even deeper as pleasure exploded on her chest. She only pulled away from the kiss as she felt that sweet sensation pooling on the pits of her stomach.
Her head fell on Seungcheol’s shoulder, her mouth agape and eyes tightly shut as a series of loud moans escaped her throat. The two were even moaning and groaning as they, too, were slowly reaching their orgasms. Seokmin pulled the two of them closer by wrapping his arms around Seungcheol’s waist, squeezing Rianne’s breasts against his chest.
"Seokmin... I'm gonna... I’m gonna cum..." She cried as pleasure seeped through her nerves, driving her more on edge. “Hah… Ahh... Unnng... Fuck... Fuck..." She chanted breathlessly, arching her chest and bucking her hips up. Her body shuddered, as she moaned their names loudly. She could feel her warm juice exploding inside her as she came.
It didn't take long for the both of them to reach their climax. The moment Rianne came, they both slammed their cocks shoving it deeper. They moaned and groaned loudly as they came inside her, filling her up on each hole.

Emily left, and I switched to playing as Safiya. Saf hung out with her family, and headed to bed at 11:30 pm. The next morning, she got up early and wandered around the house. She stopped in the front entrance by the wedding photo of her moms, and smiled to herself. When her moms divorced and her mom moved out, Safiya had begged her amma not to take down this photo, since she loved it so much.
She went into her room and decided to call her mom, hoping it wasn't too early. "Mom, can I talk to you?" She asked in Mandarin(she speaks Hindi and some Spanish at home with her amma and Mandarin with her mom) as a sleepy Megan picked up. Safiya could hear her stepmom Tess, Megan’s wife, murmuring something and Megan said. "Sure, nooboo. Let me just go out to the backyard so I won't disturb Tess." Safiya nodded, and a second later Megan said. "Everything okay Saf?" Safiya automatically nodded. "Yeah, I was just thinking about Bailey. She proposed to me a few days ago but I don't know if I'm ready." Megan sounded more alert. "She did?" Megan asked. "Yeah, it feels right on paper. She's so sweet and beautiful and makes me laugh, but I don't know if I'm ready." Megan sighed. "I understand. Safiya, I'll be happy with whatever choice you make, but make sure you really want this, not just because it seems right. I know you've heard from me and your amma how we got married too soon in our early twenties." Safiya bit her lip. "Yeah, she also told me she'd support me but I had to choose for myself. You're right, I like Bailey but I'm not ready to get married yet." Megan let out a relieved sigh. "Good, but you'll be ready one day with the right sim. Like how I was with your stepmom Tess." She said, and Safiya could hear her smiling. Safiya rolled her eyes but smiled too. "Yeah, yeah, I don't need to hear about you guys being lovey dovey." She said teasingly, but smiled. She loved that her mom was so happy with Tess.
Safiya called Bailey up and told her she wasn't ready. Bailey was dissapointed but understood, and said they'd talk once they both got back to their dorms (Bailey was in Sixam visiting her relatives). Plus, Megan came over, and everytime I see her when I'm not playing the Hecking-Feldman-Chen-Liao household, she's carrying this thick yellow book with no description. 🤔😅 Anyway, Megan hugged both nooboos, Safiya and Amir, and greeted Amira, who had just woken up and came downstairs looking groggy.

So Long, London
mingyu x oc
— stitches undone, two graves, one gun
- pure angst - mentions of depression, profanities, self doubt - 2.5k words, taglish - somehow depicts a true-to-life experience
--------------------------
Cassidy and Mingyu had been inseparable for years. Every moment was fraught with both exhilaration and anxiety. They were everything to each other—the streets they wandered, the cafés where they laughed, the parks where they stole kisses under the cover of the trees.
But the weight of the city’s pulse warned her that some love stories weren’t meant to last.
"Hey.."
It was the kind of rainy evening that draped over Mingyu like a tired blanket. The streets shimmered with droplets, each reflecting the muted colors of the world around them. Cassidy was standing by the window of their small flat, watching the raindrops race down the glass.
“I think we need to talk,” he said, his voice soft yet heavy. Cassidy felt her heart leap in her chest, an instinctive awareness that this conversation could change everything. Ilang linggo na rin silang umiiwas pag-usapan ‘to, so Mingyu initiated, being the man he is.
She turned to look at Mingyu on the edge of the couch, his face silhouetted by the dim light of the room. They had once filled this space with laughter and dreams, but now it felt hollow, echoing only with unspoken words and the weight of disappointment.
“Okay,” she replied and sat beside him, her voice barely a whisper as she set aside the thoughts of their happier times, the laughter shared over meals, the long walks through their favorite park, and the lazy Sunday mornings spent tangled in bedsheets.
He ran a hand through his hair, a gesture she’d always found endearing. “Okay pa ba tayo?"
"I don’t know, Gyu, I, uh..." Cass took a deep breath, struggling to find the right words amidst the turbulence of her emotions. "I just don't feel happy anymore,” she feared deep down, that she already knew.
He took a deep breath, his expression pained. The words landed like a physical blow, and Mingyu’s breath caught in his throat. “I know," he echoed, struggling to keep his voice steady.
“Is it more like…” he took a deep sigh. “...you’re afraid to talk about it?”
Pinipigilan nalang ni Cass ang sarili na humikbi. He’s right. Noon niya pa siya natatakot at alam niyang nararamdaman na din ni Mingyu. She chose to ignore it for days, until it became weeks, turned to months. She’s fighting it, unwilling to show him her pain. “Aayusin pa ba natin?”
They had been missing the warmth in their embraces, the shared glances that once spoke volumes, and now it was here like a storm making its way through the horizon.
“Cassidy, alam mong mahal kita,” Mingyu said, caressing her face and wiping her tears that already fell from her eyes, she failed.
“𝙂𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙝𝙞𝙣 𝙠𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙮𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣, 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙤 𝙠𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙬 𝙣𝙖 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙢𝙤 𝙮𝙪𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞 𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙖, 𝙥𝙖𝙖𝙣𝙤 𝙩𝙖𝙮𝙤?”
“Ano bang nangyari satin?” she implored, searching his eyes for a hint of the love they once shared.
His gaze softened, as if he were trying to memorize her face for the last time. He can't think of words he wanted to say without hurting her. Parehas na silang nasasaktan sa bagay na hindi nila kasalanan, sa bagay na hindi nila ginusto, at sa bagay na bigla nalang nilang naramdaman.
A heaviness settled in her chest, one that refused to lift even as the reality wrapped around them. The air thickened with unspoken words and promises, and she could feel the clock ticking down every second they spent standing together.
“I'll give you time to think. I’m listening,” he said softly, his voice a gentle balm against the storm brewing inside her.
Her eyes darted to his, searching for something or anything that would break the silence hanging over them. But his gaze was steady, unwavering, and filled with a patience she both appreciated and resented. It was as if he knew deep down that whatever words were about to come would change everything.
He was wrong.
His words hung in the air, wrapping around her like a lifeline and yet feeling like a chain tethering her to this moment of decision. Gusto niyang magsalita at ilabas lahat ng nararamdaman niya, pero sa sobrang bigat, she can’t put the right words and it kept her silent.
𝘔𝘢𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘨𝘰 𝘣𝘢 𝘬𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘴𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘢 𝘢𝘬𝘰? She thought. Would they convey the fear of losing something precious or the hope that maybe, just maybe, things could be different?
“I think I need to go,” her voice trembled, and Mingyu could see in her, the desire to hold on countered by the knowledge that something vital was missing. “This…. thing is not gonna work anymore,” she braced herself for what would come next, hoping that when the words finally came, it would be enough.
“Thing?” he repeated, hoping he heard her wrong.
The single word is heavy with disbelief and a hint of accusation. It hung in the air between them like a lifeline or a tether. His voice was low and steady, but the tremor in his hands betrayed the storm inside.
It seemed to encapsulate everything—the hopes, the dreams, the late-night whispers, and the promises of forever but now, it was just a thing for her, a fragile construct that had somehow lost its meaning.
“What else should I call it then?” Cass stood up. “Do you think I would still call it love kung di na tayo masaya?” she ran a hand to her hair as she fought herself to scream.
“Ikaw lang ang hindi masaya, Cassidy. Hindi ko alam kung anong nangyari sayo,”
“We both know that we’re not happy anymore, Mingyu!” she once again failed, fighting the urge to scream. “You just chose to ignore it dahil nanghihinayang ka sa pagsasama natin for 12 fucking years. You think I wouldn't see that? Anong akala mo sakin, tanga?”
A moment of silence stretched between them, full of unfulfilled love and the memories of what once made them whole. Huminga siya ng malalim, pinipigilan ulit ang sarili sa kung ano pa ang pwedeng masabi. Kasabay ng pag iyak niya ang pagbuhos ng malakas na ulan sa labas.
“We are not who we are, who we used to be years ago. I know you already saw it coming, hindi ko alam bakit nagtatanga tangahan ka,” her voice cracked under the weight of emotions she had kept bottled up for far too long.
“Ang sabi mo mahal mo ako, Mingyu, pero tangina... I was dying to wait for you.. to settle down. Nasaan ka nung panahong napapagod na ko?” her eyes locked onto his, searching for some sign of understanding or acknowledgment of the pain she had endured in silence.
“Nasaan ka nung panahong gusto ko na tapusin ang lahat ng paghihirap ko?”
Mingyu stood across from her at sinubukang lapitan si Cass, but she stepped backwards. He felt a tightening in his chest that she’s avoiding him face to face, an ache that came from the realization that these words had been waiting to spill forth, waiting for a moment when the dam would finally break.
He wanted to say something, anything to make it better, but the words wouldn’t come. What could he possibly say that would undo the hurt he had caused? He stood there, helpless, as her pain spilled out into the open, no longer contained by the walls she had built around herself.
"You were too engrossed with your job and some freelance shits while hoping for a promotion na sa una palang ay alam mong hindi mo makukuha. Nagpapaka-alipin ka sa boss mong hindi ka naman tinatrato ng tama. Inuutus-utusan ka lang na parang hindi ka tao, and you can't see that dahil bulag ka,” she continued, her voice rising with a mix of frustration and sorrow. Humahagulgol na siya sa lahat ng nasabi niya.
“I was so tired from my own job that I couldn't see myself in the same path anymore…”
Cassidy had kept these thoughts buried deep within her, trying to convince herself that things would change, that he would change. Her body shook as she spoke, her heart breaking all over again as she voiced the pain she had been holding back for so long. She would be lying kung sasabihin niyang hindi siya nakaramdam ng konting ginhawa sa mga sinabi niya.
Besides, she had kept it for so long.
Mingyu’s heart ached as he watched her cry, knowing that he was the cause of her pain. He wanted to reach out and hold her, to comfort her in some way but he knew that his touch would only make things worse. He had failed her in ways he hadn’t even realized until now, and there was nothing he could do to take that back.
Cassidy's sobs grew louder, echoing off the walls of the room, he felt the crushing weight of regret settle over him. Masyadong nag-focus si Mingyu sa future niya—nila, on what he thought they needed to be happy, that he had completely missed the present and the moments that really mattered. He now feared it was too late to make things right.
𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘨𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦? 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴—𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘶𝘨 𝘰𝘧 𝘸𝘢𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦, 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘦𝘳?
“Cass, I-” Mingyu tried to reach for her. Cassidy wanted to hold him, too.
She knew that if she let him touch her, she would crumble. All the strength she had mustered to keep her distance, to protect herself from more pain, would dissolve in an instant.
She wanted nothing more than to fall into his arms, to let him hold her and make everything right again.
But she can't..
“I’m sorry,” Mingyu managed to whisper. He knew that no apology could make up for the time lost, for the nights she had spent alone, waiting for him to see her, to be there for her when she needed him most.
Without second guessing, Mingyu closed the distance between them in a few swift steps and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a tight embrace even before Cassidy could react.
"I’m sorry, love..” he whispered, his voice breaking as he held her close, feeling her body tremble against his.
Her sobs started as quiet, restrained hiccups, but as the reality of their situation hit her full force, they grew louder.
Cassidy buried her face in Mingyu’s chest, her tears soaking into his hoodie as she let out all the grief, frustration, and heartache she had been carrying for so long. Hindi niya kayang kontrolin ang emosyon niya. She was consumed by them, overwhelmed by the sheer weight of the sorrow that had built up inside her.
Mingyu cuddled Cassidy as he led her to their room. He was caressing her back and his lips stayed in her head. Mingyu didn't know what to say. Ayaw niya lang matapos ang araw because he was unsure na kung sa oras na gumising siya ay katabi pa ba niya si Cass.
---
They fell asleep and woke up the next morning, still in each other's arms. He was holding her tightly. The events of the previous night weighed heavily on him, even in his sleep. When he opened his eyes, he found himself caressing and staring at Cassidy’s peaceful face, her eyes still closed na para bang walang nangyari kagabi.
“Good morning,” Mingyu whispered, his voice low and rough from sleep. He tightened his arms around her, a sign of not wanting to let go.
Cassidy hummed softly in response as she opened her eyes. She felt a pang of anxiety as she remembered the things she had said, the tears she had shed. But she also felt a strange sense of calm, like the storm had passed, leaving behind a quiet aftermath.
Tahimik nilang tinitigan ang isa’t isa, neither of them wanting to break the fragile peace that had settled over them. But Mingyu knew he couldn’t avoid the conversation they needed to have.
“Cass…” he began, his voice hesitant. “I really do wanna marry you but… I was scared,”
Cassidy’s heart skipped a beat with a mix of fear and hope swelling inside her. “I was scared na baka hindi ko mabigay yung mga bagay na gusto at kailangan mo without achieving something for myself. Naduduwag ako every time our friends talked about getting married..”
Cassidy listened intently, her heart is breaking as she heard the longing in his voice. Mingyu knew about Cassidy’s past, about the fractured family she had grown up in, and how much she had always wanted to create something different for herself—a family that could heal the wounds left by her parents.
“It’s not like I’m rushing you, Gyu,” she finally said. “These days, I feel like I’m being left behind. Pakiramdam ko this relationship will lead us to nothing na para lang tayong nagsasayang ng panahon.. just like what happened to Mia and Dee..”
Mingyu felt a lump form in his throat. She was right. He had been so caught up in his pursuit of a perfect life that he had overlooked the simple, profound happiness that came from just being with her.
Cassidy closed her eyes, feeling the tears well up once again, but this time they were different—softer, full of the love she still held for him, despite everything.
“We tried to compromise pero ang totoo nyan…” she paused for a moment. “...we’re not happy anymore. Hindi tayo masaya sa sarili natin, we weren't able to aim the dream we want for ourselves that is why we can’t bring back the happiness we used to have in our relationship.”
"𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙬𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨 𝙨𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮?"
With that, Mingyu stood up staring at Cass. His heart broke, not wanting to let go of what they had, he doesn't want everything to end like this but a part of him agreed. Siguro kailangan na nilang hanapin ang sarili nila. They need to grow apart from each other.
Mingyu’s eyes were filled with sadness as he nodded slowly. The pain of the decision was palpable, but he could see the hurt in Cassidy’s eyes and knew that staying together was causing her more anguish. His heart ached at the thought of causing her further suffering and with a heavy sigh, he agreed.
“Hindi kita kakalimutan, Gyu..” Cass said and kissed Mingyu’s forehead. “You’re the greatest and the most precious thing ever happened to me. I hope you could walk a path you wanted without holding my hand..”
Mingyu looked into her eyes and kissed her lips for the last time. It was a soft kiss filled with love. Cassidy broke the kiss at inilapat ang noo niya kay Mingyu. Despite the overwhelming sadness, Cassidy stood up and began to gather her things. She thought of staying in her friend’s house outside Metro Manila.
Cassidy took one last look around the home that had once been a sanctuary. Alam niyang pagsisisihan niya ang desisyon niya. Bago pa man mangyari yun ay lumabas na siya.
Mingyu watched her leave, feeling the sting of their parting. The emptiness in the room was a stark reminder of the end of their shared journey. He stood there for a long time, grappling with his emotions, knowing that both of them would need time to heal and find their way forward.

CHAPTER 17
I woke up feeling euphoric.  Kinikilig pa akong nagpagulong gulong sa kama ko habang inaalala kung anong nangyari kagabi.
Oh my God! I have a boyfriend now! So this is the feeling ah, I can really feel the butterflies in the stomach that every author puts in their story whenever their characters are getting excited and kilig.
Impit akong tumili sa unan at sumipa sumipa sa kama sa kilig. Umangat lang ang ulo ko mula sa unan nang biglang tumunog ang cellphone ko.
1 message from Neighbor
I immediately smiled as I saw his number. Before I opened his message, I went through my contacts and changed his name on it.
From: Boyfriend ♡
Good morning Señorita. Or babe na?
I chuckled and replied 'Good morning' to him as well.
I energetically get up to my bed and start my routine. I even played some good songs while I cleaned my unit. I was planning to cook something for my boyfriend so I took a bath first and preferred all the ingredients.
I was cutting the carrots already when someone knocked on my door.
I smiled. Thinking that it is Benedict but to my dismay, It was Yna who is wearing high-waisted shorts and a pink tube top. She is also wearing black knee-high boots and gentle monster shades.
"You look disappointed? Why oh why?" I sigh
"Why are you here?" She shrugged her shoulder at walang hiyang pumasok sa unit ko.
"Waiting for someone else?" She placed her Gucci Marmont handbag on my couch and removed her glasses then sat gracefully on the couch.
"Why are you here, Yna?" Nakapamewang kong tanong.
"Why else? I'm visiting you." I raised my eyebrow at her.
"Fine. I want you to come with me sa Arton." I furrowed my brows at her
"Ano namang gagawin natin doon?" Sumandal ito sa couch at ipinatong ang paa nito sa glass table na nasa harap niya.
"Kalilipat lang ni Jacksion doon and I want to pay him a visit." I sigh and shook my head
Eh? As far as I can remember ay sa Vasco mansion siya nakatira.
"He moved?"
"Yes! Pinayagan na daw siya ni Kuya Hades lumipat. And malapit din kasi yun sa School niya, so, let's go. Let's visit him." Pagpipilit nito sakin.
"Paano mo naman nalaman yung mga yan?"
"Duh! We have a GC kaya. Nandoon ka ah, di mo alam?" Eh? I took my phone and fished it out to see if we do really have a gc and to my surprise ay meron nga. Kaso ay natabunan dahil sa dami kong gc galing sa ibat ibang organization na sinalihan ko.
"Let's go, let's go na! Go dress up, bilisan mo ah. Wag mo akong subukang paghintayin." Tinulak ako nito papunta sa kwarto ko.
"Wait, wait, wait. Hindi pa ako pumapayag, Yna. And it's Saturday, it's my rest day. Next time nalang tayo bumisita." Her eyes widened and agape his mouth at me.
"What? No, nandito na ako ngayon. We needed to go, now." Tuluyan na ako nitong naitulak at iiling iling nalang akong pumunta sa walk in closet ko at naghanap ng damit.
Good thing I already took a bath. I just wore a pair of denim shorts and paired them with my loose polo shirt striped with orange and blue. I wear white Balenciaga chunky sneakers and tie my hair into a bun.
I took my phone to messaged Benedict para magpaalam kasi hindi talaga ako titigilan ni Yna. Lumabas ako ng kwarto after I sent the message and gasped when I saw Benedict na mukhang gulat ding nakaharap kay Yna. Yna on the other hand is smirking at him and surveying him from head to toe.
"Babe!" Gulat kong sabi pero mas nagulat si Yna sa narinig. Marahas na pumaling ang ulo nito sakin.
"BABE?" I froze when I suddenly realized what I just said.
"U-uhm.. " Mabilis si Yna na lumakad papunta sakin.
"You! Did you just call him, Babe?" Tinuro niya si Benedict na lumilipad ang paningin sa kung saan saan.
"Parang one week lang akong walang balita sa inyo tapos may babe babe na? Tell me, what the hell is happening?" Nilagay nito ang dalawang kamay niya sa bewang nito at papalit palit na tumingin saming dalawa.
I sigh and tell her the truth. I looked at her and she was just emotionless the whole time we were talking. I furrowed my brow. I suddenly can't read her.
"Are you mad?" Benedict was also watching her reaction, afraid that she might be mad but he shouldn't be.
Yna shook her head and looked at Benedict. "I hate you." Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa narinig.
"Huh? S-sorry." Benedict bowed his head nervously.
"Why do you hate him? It's not like he had done something bad." I said while furrowing my brows.
"Woah! See? You managed to get her trust so easily while I needed to work hard for it. Amazing!" I bit my lip as I heard the disappointment in Yna's voice.
Anong ibig niyang sabihin? Work hard for my trust? Bakit? Hindi naman na kailangan dahil hinahayaan ko naman na siyang gamitin ako para makuha ang mga connections na gusto niya.
Yna sighs and smiles at us. "Congrats! I'm happy for both of you. Well, hihiramin ko lang tong jowa mo. Kami muna ang magdadate." Hinila ako nito at sabay sabay kaming lumabas ng unit ko.
Hinatid naman kami ni Benedict sa parking lot. Nauna nang sumakay si Yna sa kotse ko, Tinanong ko siya kung nasaan ang kotse niya pero ang sabi niya ay hinatid lang siya ng driver niya papunta dito.
Bago ako sumakay sa kotse ay tinignan ko muna si Benedict.
"Uhm.. aalis muna kami." He smiled and nodded. I was waiting for him to do something like a kiss. Or perhaps a hug at least?
"Ingat kayo." I pouted when he just waved his hands at me. Lumapit ako sakanya and he then furrowed his brow in confusion.
"Hala! Bakit? Okay ka lang?" I hugged him tightly, I felt him flinch but answered my hug immediately.
"I'm sorry about Yna." Benedict turns his gaze to Yna who is pouting and glaring at us. He chuckled.
"It's fine. She just really loves you, Naiintindihan ko naman." I furrowed my brows and looked at him while my arm was still on his waist.
"She's straight, Babe. We are nothing like that." He then laughed and lightly messed my hair before he kissed my forehead.
"Alam ko naman yun. Masaya nga ako na meron kang katulad niya. Treasured her, Babe. She's a keeper." I blinked and looked at Yna.
She rolled the car window down and raised her middle finger to us.
"Mamaya na yan love birds! Tangina niyo talaga." Tumawa naman kami ni Benedict. I turn to Benedict and plant a kiss on his lips.
"I love you." Benedict then smiled at me
"I love you too."
It was almost lunch when we got into Arton. This is my first time going here kaya naman muntik pa kaming maligaw ni Yna. Buti nalang at nakaonline si Jacksion at tinawagan ni Yna saka kami nito tinulungan.
I bought pastries for Jacksion since I don't have any gifts for him. Jacksion's dislikes sweet kaya ito agad ang binili ko. Tamang pang asar lang. And I also got mesmerized by how sweet and pretty the one who's selling them is. I even asked her name and she said it was Anissa, she also said that she's the one who made all of them.
She looks like an angel. I felt really at peace when I was talking to her, she seemed very kind and soft-spoken. I wanna go there again and buy some pastries next time.
"What's up, kumusta naman yung mga naligaw?" I rolled my eyes at Jacksion.
He opens his door wide and I was surprised when I saw all of the Vasco brothers inside.
"What the?"
"Oh Hi, Girls! Long time no see." Lucas greets us.
Kuya Haides is in the kitchen wearing an apron, he is cooking lunch. Kuya Snoah is also in the kitchen helping Kuya Haides slice the meat like he was in an operating room.
"Putcha, alam kong Surgeon ka pero pwede ba, hindi ka nagoopera okay? Bilis bilisan mo paghiwa tol." Kuya Snoah then glared at him and turned to us.
He greets us and waves his hands with a knife habang seryoso ito, kaya bahagya kaming napangiwi ni Yna. Mabilis naman siyang binatukan ni Kuya Haides kaya naman nakakuha din siya ng batok dito.
"Why are we the ones who are cooking again? Shouldn't that asshole be the one who's suffering here in the kitchen instead of us since this is his condo?"
I saw Kuya Tim reading some books about Law. I shook my head at hindi na namin siya inabala. Lucas on the other hand is handing us a glass of juice.
"Drink some, Kuya Haides and Kuya Snoah is just cooking for lunch pero matatapos na din yun." Lucas gently said.
"Hay nako! kay babagal kumilos kasi. Partida kanina pa nasa kusina yung dalawa na yun ah." Napa aray naman bigla si Jacksion nang bigla siyang hampasin ng makapal na libro ni Kuya Tim na kanina lang ay binabasa niya.
"Matuto kang gumalang sa matatanda sayo." Jacksion then pouted.
"Eh totoo naman! Lalo na si Kuya Haides abay ikakasal na at lahat mukhang hindi pa marunong magluto. Anong mahihita ni Ate sayo? Kung sana gwapo ka eh, kaso hindi. Galingan mo nalang siguro sa performance." Muling napa aray si Jacksion nang kotongan siya ni Kuya Haides ng sauteing pan.
"Putcha! masakit ah." Himas nito sa ulo niya
"Ang daldal mo." Yna rolled her eyes to Jacksion.
"Ay wow, andito ka pala? Bakit? Sino nag imbita dito sa babaeng ito --aray" Yna hit his arm at naghabulan pa sila sa unit dahil hindi siya tinigilan ni Jacskon sa pang aasar.
"How are you, Rae?" Kuya Snoah asked.
"Ayos naman po ako Kuya Snoah. Same old." He arched his brow and looked at Kuya Tim knowingly.
"That's not what I heard from Theo though." I looked at Kuya Tim who is now smirking.
"H-huh?"
"Theo said he saw you with a guy, are you on a date with someone?" Nanlaki naman ang mga mata ko at napakagat sa ibabang labi.
"Date? Sino? Sinong may date?" Bigla naman lumitaw sa kung saan si Kuya Haides na may hawak pang stainless steel spatula sa kamay. Nginuso naman ako ni Lucas kay Kuya Haides at nanlalaki ang mga mata nitong tumingin sakin
"What? Paano na si Jacksion?" I frowned
"Ano yan ah, bakit niyo ako pinag uusapan?" I rolled my eyes at him and shook my head
"May boyfriend na daw itong bebe girl natin." I cringed sa tinawag sakin ni Lucas.
Bebe girl? Ewww.
"Aba, buti at may pumatol?" I hit Jacksion's chest.
"Stop teasing your childhood crush, Jacksion." Kuya Snoah said while smirking. I furrowed my brows and looked at Jackson.
"Crush amputa. Kilabutan nga kayo!" Pagdedepensa ni Jacksion. Yumakap pa ito sa sarili na akala mo ay siya pa ang lugi.
"Oh please! Alam naming lahat na may crush ka kay Rae. Kayo lang atang dalawa ang oblivious doon. Umamin ka na, at least ngayon may reason kang masasabi sa iba kapag nireject ka ni Rae. Kaysa naman kapag single siya, at nireject ka niya, kahihiyan!" Yna shrugged her shoulders and sipped her juice.
"Puta!" Jacksion exclaimed. I arched my brow and lifted my gaze at him. Hmmm...
"Crush mo ako?" I asked Jacksion curiously.
"Tangina. Kilabutan ka nga. Labas lang ako, bibili akong wine." Sinundan namin siya nang tingin hanggang sa makalabas ito ng condo niya.
"See? Walk out si gago haha." Nag high five naman ang apat na magkakapatid at iiling iling na tumatawa.
This is how they bond, teasing their troublemaker brother– Jacksion.
"Nageeskandalo?" I furrowed my brows. Jackson then coughed on his drink at hilaw na ngumiti samin.
"He was caught two-timing girls." Kuya Snoah shakes his head at Jacksion because of disappointment.
"Muntik na mahimatay si Mama dahil sa mga babae niya. Pasalamat nalang talaga siya at kaya ihandle ni Kuya Haides yun kung hindi patay siya kay Papa." Lucas said.
I agreed.
Naiisip ko tuloy siyang magiging sunod sunuran sa isang babae na parang aso, ano kayang itsura niya nun?
"Eh kaso may boyfriend na." Yna whispered while raising her eyebrow at me. I furrowed mine at her and she just shrugged her shoulders.
"Nga pala, gusto kong makilala yang boyfriend mo, Rae ah. Ipakilatis mo samin yan. Mamaya hindi pala mapagkakatiwalaan yan." I smile at Kuya Haides.
"He's kind." Yna then nodded.
"Just kind? Sounds like a bull." I frowned at Kuya Snoah and he just chuckled.
"He is, he looks kind of decent." Kuya Tim said at napangiti naman ako doon. At Least there's someone who believes in my boyfriend's kindness.
"Yes, he is. And he is also head over heels to Rae." Yna rolled her eyes.
"Aba dapat lang, si Rae natin yan. Hindi ako papayag na mas mahal niya yung lalaki, gusto ko mas mahal siya. Doon lang ako makakampante." I shook my head at them as they agreed.
Well, there is nothing to worry about Benedict. Even if I love him more, it doesn't matter. What's important is that we love each other and that our intentions are pure. I can feel that he is genuine, and I love him for that.

Maroon x Blue Sunday Lovin'
Side Note: This was penned right after the game and debrief with second dad. So yes, late post, yet again. Was talking to my second dad after getting home as he can still outrun millennials on a full court basketball game. LOL. He even joked that during their time, height is not an advantage. Also, those hey days were spent in no less than Katipunan. He pushed the envelope further saying that he used to watch games live but traffic is just so bad; and he's glad that he didn't get a cardiac arrest live via satellite, too. There goes today's game debriefing. Later, I slid a note about how maroon mixes so well with blue. Ang ganda. Parang kumikinang siya sa mata ko.
Meanwhile, a friend who is a legit UAAP fan slid a DM asking since when I became a fan. This is a really funny story, sobrang babaw to be precise. Back in college I sighed over the thought of going to a game to represent your school in UAAP basketball. It's like a euphoric pill I can not swallow because I am but an outsider. One of the reasons why I commute from Las Pinas to Diliman is because I wanted to watch a game live and to cheer for my school. HAHAHAHAHHA. Never mind that I'm but a graduate school student with 36 units down and a thesis that's left to rot. Never mind that I still feel like an outsider. There's something about this little dream turned reality that makes me really giddy.
Going back to second dad... I found an opening to say that blue looks more and more tempting. Of course, he whacked back saying that I already have blue in my blood, only from Leon Guinto. UGH. And that, my LS dream will just turn my heart black. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. He reminded me that he gave it a try himself and that I just need to focus on my digital game. LOL. Eto na naman po kami ng second dad ko. Nagde-debate na naman na akala mo totoong anak niya ako. JUSQ. I knew what he means naman. But, I didn't back down saying that since I'm dabbling with AI, I'm wondering if using it in LS will make things better and faster.
One of the things I shared to him was that I'd most likely fail the exam. He said: Panigurado papasa ka. I was taken aback since I feel like I'm so clunky and can be labelled as sakto lang in all things I do. Ang bitbit ko lang is my intention, thus being intentional. (Redundancy is the key to me. CHZ.)
So, what's my take on today's game?
Hindi ako pikon. Start pa lang, I said sana matawid ng UP pero I have a hunch this would either be a close and tough fight OR we'll go home without the bacon.
Also, ang ganda ng galaw ng Katips. Pero, and weird lang din ng mga tawag. Unli freethrow Sunday po tayo, ladies and chemenemen. In fairness, may certain certainty bawat bitaw ng Blue Eagles. 'Yung tipong humihinga muna, sisipat, saka babato. Dagdagan mo pa ng dasal na may Jesuit vibe 'yan. I even saw a few female lolas na nag-antanda bago mag-game. HAHAHAHA. Heswita pong tunay. Tabi na agad Maroons. LOL.
UP naman today parang more of instincts and tactics. LOLOLLOLLOLLOLL. Sorry but true. This is only the second live game I watched. The first is the UP-Ateneo final game a few years back. I don't follow UAAP in general unlike my college days. Wala lang. Gusto ko lang talaga salpukan ng maroon and blue. Ganda. Visual appeal: 1000000. The stark contrast is such a vibe. The cool blues and the heated maroons.
Lemme add that the school hymns and cheers actually show that legit stark contrast. 'Yung Maroons, very high horse na emotionally packed. Medyo bordering na ng you can't sit with us. Ganun din naman Blue Eagles kaso mas subtle and mas brainy and poetic. LOL. Gets ba? Same alley but different store fronts and merchs. EMS. Me to myself: UP pa U-U-U pa kayo, U-WI tuloy tayo neto. Hahahaha. Also me: Buti na lang nanalo Katips para choosing the school won't need a spoonful of sugar that night. Also me ulit: Win or lose, it's maroon I CHZ. Tabi.
I won't go down the commentary route because that's not my cup of tea. My voice is raspy because it's just so nice to let loose after so much work and personal stuff that's happening. I just need a distraction. Watching games live is an experience on its own. Parang may pasavogue and of course, seeing the asses of players who perform is cute; walang pagnanasa. Saka, true pa rin, napapansin ko lang players kapag may silbi sila sa game like my super crush LA Tenorio. Mula noon, hanggang ngayon. Masipag. Maangas. Grounded. Magaling mag-English and Tagalog. Simple pero bumabaon. Ganern. 'Di ko sure if perky ba ass niya kasi ilong niya nakikita kong nauuna e. LOL.
BTW, I saw the shushing up close. In fairness to the Atenistas, unbothered. ALAVEETTTT. 'Yan ang isang strength nila. Tahimik lang pero 'pag may magandang play, they babble. CHZ. And it's so fun to be near the side of Ateneo, too. Nag-sorry pa 'yung girl sa unahan ko nung natalo. I replied naman that deserving sa win and that it's just a game. She smiled back. Hihihihihihihi.
I wanna see UP and Ateneo in the finals!!!

The Sun And The Moon
Chapter 10 - Threatened
The ceremony was short and pretty boring. Divyanshi spent her time eating with Krishnn and clicking pictures.
"Can I click your picture?" She asked Krishnn.
"I suggest you to not do that. You know what happens to people when they try to sneak in the Prem mandir at night." He said.
She sighed, "Not gonna try to do that."
She clicked more pictures, mostly of Karn. No one noticed her doing that except Krishnn, of course and Jaydrath. He had his eyes set on her the moment he entered the palace. He knew that she was the girl from the future and was curious to know her deeply.
After the ceremony, Divyanshi was stuffed. She decided to walk around the palace. Not knowing that some other person might have the same idea, she bumped into someone while blindly walking.
"Ouch! My head!" She held her head as it ached.
"Does it hurt?" Karn asked, he looked sad when he realised that his armor hurt her.
"Obviously it does!" She said.
"Let me." He said and touched her head, she looked in his eyes while he set his hand on her forehead observing the injury. "There isn't any blood thankfully. The bruise has faded so it won't pain now."
"What are you-you doing at this hour?" Divyanshi asked out of the blue.
"I could ask you the same." He said.
They both stayed in silence looking at every possible direction but not eachother. "I am sorry for what I did that day. I panicked and it was inappropriate according to this yug."
"No, it was good!" He said, "I-I mean it's ok. I don't blame you. I raised my-my voice too." He stammered.
"We're square?" She confirmed.
"I guess." He softly spoke, "We can walk together. We should I guess."
"Yes, yes. You are right." Divyanshi agreed.
It was awkward for them to look at eachother without those hundred questions popping up in their mind.
"Your yug, how do people talk? You seem to struggle a bit to translate a few words." He asked, they stopped at the corridor at a balcony.
"Bharat is now a smaller country comparative to this time. It has been invaded a lot so there are many languages. Most of them are ours but languages like English and Urdu are foreign, not ours." She explained.
"So, you people use English a lot, right?" He asked.
"Mostly but I like Hindi more. It has emotion. Hindi is a sanskari language to be honest. But it can be romantic." She said.
"How does a man greet a woman in your yug?" He asked.
She smirked, she thought that her smirk would distract him from the loud thumps of heartbeat, "Well, romantically he takes her hand and kisses it."
He slowly took her near his mouth and kissed it gently, "Like this?" He asked.
"Oh this is nothing!" She smirked.
"What is then? A kiss?" He asked. He brought his brought his lips near her's and waited.
"Don't keep me waiting." She said.
He smirked and kissed her passionately. She enjoyed the moment while holding on his neck as he grabbed her tight by the waist. They both were distracted by eachother that they didn't notice someone looking at them.
~~~~~~~~
"He is Guru Dron." Duryodhan introduced Divyanshi to Dronacharya.
"Pranaam!" She greeted him, "You must be Aswathama." She looked at a tall man who had a blue stone studded on his forehead.
"And you are correct." He said.
"As always!" She smiled.
The morning after the 'incident' was good for Divyanshi as she enjoyed everything she did. From dressing up to talking to the person she didn't like much, Dushasan; she was calm.
"What has happened to you?" asked Draupadi.
"You don't want to know, trust me." Divyanshi said remembering the last time she told her about her kiss.
The next event was haldi, Divyanshi couldn't stop looking at Karn. Draupadi knew something had happened between the two them because they made it obvious by passing eachother smirks.
"What are you doing?" Draupadi inquired when she saw Divyanshi taking a picture of Karn, when Karn spotted Draupadi, he ran away from her sight.
"Oh just taking pictures of a beautiful view!" Divyanshi answered.
"What is it between you two," Draupadi said, "I can help you both."
"Trust me, whatever is going between 'us' is going fine." Divyanshi told her.
"I hope so." Draupadi said.
"By the way, this Sindhraj looks awful in that outfit." Divyanshi whispered to her, "It's so basic."
"Don't say that. It's rude." Draupadi scolded.
"Truth is often brutal, darling." Divyanshi said.
Sindhraj got off the alter, he was covered in haldi, he bumped into Divyanshi on his way out.
"Oh! I didn't see you." He said.
"No, it's ok." She tried to wipe of the haldi stain of her saree but it was one nasty stain.
"Could you help me with this?" He asked.
"Sure." Divyanshi had to agree as she had no option. She gave Draupadi a look, Draupadi nodded.
Washing of the stains was a mess. Divyanshi sighed when her favourite saree was ruined. "This was my favourite." She said.
"I can gift you the exact same saree." He said grinning.
Knowing his intentions she denied, "Good gesture but please no."
"Why not?" He asked.
"I just don't want another." She said and tried to leave.
"I saw your yantr filled with Karn." Jaydrath smirked. She stopped, she knew what he meant. He had seen her clicking Karn's pictures. "So you agree." He set his' lustful gaze on her.
"How will you even prove it?" She asked confidently.
"They know I won't lie. Also, they know what you are like." He walked closer to her, "What would their reaction be when they hear what you and 'him' did last night?"
"You saw it?" She asked, "Are you jealous?"
"If you spend one night with me, just one, I will not tell anyone about what happened." He smirked and tried to grab her by her waist.
She slapped his hand and pushed him back, "What if I say 'no', ball-chined!" She sneered.
"How dare you!" He yelled.
"There! You messed up." She smirked.
"What's happening?" Karn asked. He was followed by Duryodhan and Krishnn.
"Look at him, such shameless person he is!" Divyanshi said dramatically.
"What do you mean?" Duryodhan inquired.
"He is trying to threaten me to sleep with him. How disgusting! The audacity he has-I mean look at his face, ew!" Divyanshi explained the situation
"She is a shameless girl. You have no idea what she did!" Jaydrath defended himself.
"Don't you dare say that about her!" All the three men said in unison. Divyanshi looked at them in awe, she smiled to herself knowing she had good people in her life.
"You don't trust me, Yuvraj Duryodhan? You have no idea what they both have done!" Jaydrath continued, he pointed at Karn and Divyanshi.
Divyanshi signed Karn that Jaydrath knew about the kiss. Karn nodded understanding the situation whereas Krishnn was smiling enjoying the drama.
"What have we done, Sindhraj? Do you care to explain?" asked Karn.
"You both kissed last night, I saw it!" Jaydrath said.
"You did?" Duryodhan asked to Karn.
"You trust him? Not me?" Karn asked him back.
Divyanshi and Krishnn snickered and hid their face.
"Of course, I trust you, mitr Karn." Duryodhan patted Karn's shoulder. He turned to Jaydrath, "But I don't trust you. What were you doing late night?"
"I know I saw them. I know it because I was troubling the maid to sleep with-" Jaydrath paused.
"How dare you! You are marrying my sister for the sake of the peace treaty. Had not I swear to not kill you, you would be dead by now!" Duryodhan grabbed his neck.
"Oh man! Such a disgusting personality he has!" Divyanshi whispered to Krishnn.
"Exactly! How will Dushala manage with him!" He whispered back.
"He sucks!" She whispered.
"The show had a better looking actor but him? He is awful!" Krishnn whispered.
"Wait! Which one?"
"The 2013 Mahabharat. I like the actor who played me."
"Yeah, Sourabh Jain is a fine actor."
"Mere bacche, is everything ok?" Shakuni walked in.
"It's not! He threatened Divyanshi moments ago and forced a maid to sleep with him last night." Duryodhan explained.
"That's unpunishable!" Shakuni exclaimed.
"Great! Now, execute him!" Divyanshi mumbled and Krishnn laughed. "I should leave. It would be awkward if so many people get missing from the event."
"Yes, you should leave." Duryodhan said, "I apologise for what he did."
"It's fine. You saved him from my punch, you better beat him with yours." Divyanshi said, "Angraj, Krishnn, let's go."
They all left the room and joined th party as though nothing had happened. Draupadi noticed the awkwardness between Karn and Divyanshi and approached her.
"What happened there?" She asked.
"You have no idea!" Divyanshi said.
“Hi, pretty,” Jas had to stop herself from physically cringing at the name that just slipped out of Amina Park’s lips. It still baffles her that this woman, despite how many people would describe her as the scariest woman alive, is also the kindest person that she has ever met (aside from her mom, she would be jealous). It would be a crime to physically cringe in front of her—even if it was because of his own son’s doings. “How’s your vacation in New York, so far?”
Jas smiled at her. Terrible, She wanted to say. She has already been in New York for 5 days and she hasn’t written anything that didn’t allude to Tobi hurting her and it was beginning to frustrate her. She has writing credits for almost all of Midnight Covey’s most romantic songs. For god’s sake she’s written songs about two weddings at this point—and now she can’t write anything that doesn’t say “Midnight Covey’s lead guitarist just fucked me over and I hate it” all over it.
“Good,” she resorted to lying. “I’ve been writing songs with a friend po. So I’ve been trying to be as productive while I’m still here.”
“Well, New York does have the feel to it, no?” she smiled, looking down on the city lights below the high rise restaurant of the business connoisseur’s choice. “It’s a little chaotic though. But it’s fun naman, right?”
“It is,” Jas replied shortly, fighting the urge to move to try and shake away the awkward tension between the both of them. It seemed like Amina Park knew something that she didn’t and she was itching to ask but it was too embarrassing to ask for the elephant in the room to be addressed.
“You did very well in the Aurora Festival, I heard. Bianca has been talking about your performance non-stop. At this point I won’t be too surprised if she tells us she wants to pursue music one of these days. She can sing very well pa naman,” Amina Park chuckles. “That kid adores you very much.”
Jas didn’t know how to respond to that. Thank you? Mas talented po ang mga anak n’yo? Every response she had in her head sounded wrong so she chose to do what she has been doing since dinner began—just smile.
God, it seemed like Amina Park was waiting for her to open the topic up. Even though she wanted to, she would very much rather throw herself off the deck and fall 101 stories down to the busy streets of NYC. She had fallen for her son embarrassingly hard and the fact that the moment his ex girlfriend—probably the only one everyone knew of—showed up, he didn’t seem to give a flying fuck about her anymore. Falling 101 stories down to the busy streets of NYC would’ve probably hurt less because she would be dead on impact. But falling in love with Tobias Park was the one she’s unfortunately experienced, something that she needs to endure for as long as it’s there.
And sitting here with his mom only adds up on the pain that she already has to endure.
“My other kid adores you too,” she finally blurts out. “He looks so much like his dad it’s almost disgusting to see him look at you with heart eyes when we had dinner a few weeks ago. I felt like I was looking at the younger Alonzo flirting with another woman.”
“He didn’t seem to be that way when Kashiana came back,” she sighed, avoiding the older woman’s gaze.
“I would have to apologize for not teaching my son to be sensitive enough,” she hummed. “I wasn’t around them most of the time. They practically raised Bianca for me, which is embarrassing to admit. I’m slowly trying to make it up to them, though.”
“It’s really not your fault, Ma’am,”
“Jas, it’s Tita,” she chuckled. “C’mon it’s not that hard to call me Tita. Hindi naman kita empleyado.”
“Hindi n’yo naman po kasalanan ‘yon, Tita,” Jas repeats herself, trying not to make it seem obvious that she wanted the ground to open and swallow her whole.
“Oh believe me, pretty,” she smiled upon hearing her say it. “I’ve been absent for more times than not to be responsible for that.”
“But that’s not the point I’m trying to make,” she sighed. “I’m not going to apologize for what he did, but I do take accountability on why he is like that. Even so, alam n’ya ang tama at mali. He did what he did, and he’ll have to face the consequences of his actions. But Tobi is one of the most strong-willed people I know and when you get back, I hope you give him a chance to apologize and better himself.”
“We’re just friends naman po,” Jas replied, feeling her chest squeeze upon saying it. Damn. It still stung to say it, despite how much Amina Park tried to explain that Tobi felt remorse for what he did. “He doesn’t have to do all that.”
“Louis is in love with you, Jas,” Amina Park blurts out, finally. “He texted me a few days ago asking for help. He said he was in love with you. And this is as much help that I could give him. Now, pretty, tell me, are you in love with Louis?”
She could feel tears beginning to trickle in her eyes as she looked down on her almost empty glass of wine that she has been swirling around for a while now. God. It’s so embarrassing to cry in front of Amina Park right now. Get it together, Jas.
“Jacynthe?” Amina calls softly as she reaches for her hand. “It’s okay if you aren’t.”
“The problem is I am,” she responds quickly, voice breaking as she looks up to Amina Park, embarrassingly.
Fuck it. She is in love with Tobi and he is such an asshole. The fact that she allowed this set up for so long to te point that she hates herself for liking him in the first place when she should’ve just stayed exactly where she was. She hates that she enjoyed toeing the line too much to the point that she did end up falling. Hard.
“Why do you think it’s a problem, pretty?” Amina Park asked, concerned as she squeezed her hand.
“Tobi is never going to love me half as much as I do,” she sighed honestly. “And I don’t know how to see life in the same light ever again without your son. It’s cliche and sick and twisted that I rely on your son so much for love that he can’t give.” Jacynthe was just word vomiting at this point, confessing her deep (and also disgusting but also undying) affection to somebody’s mom.
Amina Park on the other hand, has a huge grin on her face, as if proud of herself that she is finally seeing progress between her son and her prospective daughter-in-law.
“It’s okay to cry,” she coos, handing her a piece of paper tissue to wipe her tears that she somehow managed to not fall and drip on her very expensive glass of red wine. “I cried too when I first admitted that I was in love with Alonzo too. And I used to hate that man with every fiber of my being.”
“I hope you two figure it out once you’re back in QC,” she squeezed her hand one more time as Jas nodded. “I will surely give him an earful for hurting you and going out with the senator’s daughter. You can count on me with that.”
