I'm gonna be a little bitch for a second GOD it's so so so fucking exhausting being a non USAmerican online. Like. Jesus fucking christ the levels of defaultism are just,,,, god. The 'default' audience for every post is Americans. American pop culture is universal obviously, and god forbid you bring up a show from your own country because no ones ever watched that! The millions of kids in your country don't count clearly. When American places are mentioned it's always Town, State, Country, but when anywhere else is mentioned you're lucky to get State, Country, or the closest major city if you're really lucky. Fahrenheit and MM/DD/YY and American spellings dominate even though they're the only country that uses them. People constantly talk about how x and y 'breaks the law'. They mean American laws, because those are obviously universal. American news and American politics are everywhere. You *have* to care about this. If you don't, you're a monster. The only time my country makes it is when we're literally burning to the ground, and even then they don't even touch the political side of things. Even international incidents somehow get brought back to America - call your representative (I dont have one). Go to these protests (they're on the other side of the world). Sign this petition (it's for US residents only). Im going to go insane.

omfg . radio play version of much ado with david as benedick from 2001

#this version of benedick is a lottttt more serious and restrained than the 2011 version #definitely due to the medium and bc it matches the energy of this version of beatrice way better #it's not david and catherine's insane comedic chemistry but it's still really good imo..#like it's obviously not as endlessly fucking funny as the 2011 version but it's still really solid #and i'm impressed with how they did the humor in a 100% audio format #and i actually really love this interpretation of benedick as more cynical and leaning into his Hater side #ironically david's benedick here generally comes off as older and more mature than his benedick 10 years later #'the prince's fool... hAhH???' is obviously extremely funny but also 'the prince's fool... [uppity hmph]' is Inspired #and his outraged 'oh!'s and gasps and sighs when he listens to don pedro/claudio/leonato talking abt beatrice being in love with him #also funnily enough i think benedick's whole monologue after this is SO good. if not better than the 2011 version #cuz it's more restrained you have benedick's haterism actively fighting and losing against his satisfaction and giddy laughter #and the bit where benedick challenges claudio is so ohhhghhgouhgghg #the way his voice deepens with 'and her death shall fall heavy on you' just FLOORS me it's fucking perfect #but also equally as fun are the line readings where they have evidently remained the same (or similar)#my dearrrrr ladyyyy disdaiiiiinnnn #and the 'she misused me past the endurance of a block' rant #and when he's bitching about claudio falling in love w hero #but the vibes are so different this feels like a whole separate guy and that's really cool #i'm not sure how much i would love this production overall if i wasn't as familiar w the play tho #much ado #essentially trying to say in the least embarrassing way possible that david tennant is now both my first and second favorite benedick

i feel like many ppl dont understand just how unwanted i am and how deeply it affects me... my presence isnt wanted anywhere, and wherever i go i feel like im not allowed to exist. im never anyone's first choice. never the first favorite friend. never this never that. like im never the first choice for anyone, just now i almost got hit by a car bc the driver chose to not hit another person close by. they would've rather hit me than that person. and that's just how it goes for me wherever i go. im lucky when and if im even tolerated. but im not wanted or the first choice or the favorite. that just makes me feel so profoundly alone, like i dont belong anywhere or is even allowed to breathe the same air as everyone else.

#frustrated sigh bc i tried expressing this in a way i felt unburdened by the thought #but i just cant find the right words #but smth like this #to never be anyone's first choice is just... makes me feel so unworthy and unimportant and unwanted #i know that like if a crazy situation happened and my mom had to choose one of us.. she wouldnt choose me #and i've never been the first choice among friends or in class or like anywhere #even strangers always rather choose someone else over me #im so repulsive and off putting clearly :')#and like psychologically it isnt that weird that i like daydream and fantasize abt being kidnapped #or idk... fucking the villain 💀 because.. idk it feels ridiculous to even dare to fantasize abt someone choosing me #but ... daydreaming abt being kidnapped bc someone wanted me so bad? 😦😦#idk idk!! 😭 i just feel so unloved and unwanted #and i get reminded of it when i go outside!! and even a stranger looks at me and is like yeah i'd rather run over that bitch !!!#like wow i really am worthless!!!! thanks #the fact that im begging the health care system for help and they just look at me indifferently... makes this all worse T-T

well that was a shortlived good feeling about my job

#maybe i should just become unemployed. maybe i should just suffer!#recap of todays further events .#that supervisor? who i kinda didnt already like but now absolutely hate?#she came down to confirm that i wasnt leaving. okay . and then she fucking tells me #oh we're going to get another person to help out from this other company. we were going to do that bc we thought you were leaving #but she thinks that even if im staying there should be another person on this floor. bc apparently more has to be done #and there are 'constant complaints' abt this floor . which doesnt make sense to me bc there shouldnt be #and so we're waiting to see what the manager decides but hes on fucking vacation and wont get back until. next week??#she said she was gonna email him and like right after she left i emailed and texted him explaining everything #and trying to very nicely say hey what the fuck are you doing you don't need to hire anyone else #and if im doing a bad job fucking tell me so i can do it better. bitch #and she had the nerve to fucking tell me when she was talking to me #that i wont find an easier job than this one #well if its so fucking easy why are we hiring someone else #by the way getting that extra person from this other company doesnt cost them anything which is why theyre doing it i think #which is making me not feel good abt my own future lmao. like why would they keep paying me when they can get someone for free #and she was saying all this stuff like oh you have it so good here we dont write you up i do all this stuff to help you like . ok #i didnt ask you to come downstairs w the coffee order and if you wanted me to i would come up . god #but the thing of me not being able to find a better job like wow! what if i killed you. for saying that to my face #and she talks abt how shes been w the company 20 years ok and that doesnt give you an excuse to treat me like a child. jesus #anyway im very pissed off and not enjoying my work situation lol. i dont wanna do this anymore #but looking at other jobs im so unemployable. sigh

captain tadashi yamaguchi is always on my mind. he was only allowed to exist for 3 seconds because furudate knew he was too powerful. captain yamaguchi could shoot lasers out of his eyes and level cities in a matter of seconds. he will also be smiling the whole time with the biggest, brightest eyes. he has the confidence of a demigod. he is breathtakingly gorgeous. he is the most horrifying person you will ever meet.

#thinking about the first time yamaguchi scolded the first years.#2 of them quit the next day. they weren't even the ones being yelled at they were just scared #i also have a scene in my head where yamaguchi and kageyama congregate and go over the application sheets together #+ captain and vice bonding i guess #and the first few applications yamaguchi's like “oh yeah these guys were pretty good. they just need some more teamwork” yadda yadda #and then one particular application comes through and yamaguchi lets out the heaviest sigh #and kageyama's like “what's wrong?” and yamaguchi's like “can i be honest with you?” and kags is like “ofc”#so yamaguchi says “he's a great player. but oh my fucking god he is such a bitch”#kageyama's eyes get soooo wide then because he's pretty sure it's the first time he's ever heard yamaguchi swear #(and maybe his cheeks get a little red too because it was kindaaaaaa)#(yes this scene is about yamakage and yamakage only they are so important to me)#anyways Captain yamaguchi tadashi my heart is yours🫶
