Side Effects Of Ketu With Remedies
Ketu, the shadow planet in Vedic astrology, is often associated with mystical, spiritual, and karmic influences. Ketu has no physical presence, unlike the visible planets, but significantly impacts the astrological chart. Understanding Ketu’s side effects and remedies can help individuals mitigate its challenges and harness its potential for spiritual growth.

Random astrology observations (very shallow but fun ig)
- Mercury conjunct sun in a chart gives very logical/mathematical intelligence you will find that the best student in the classroom always have this conjunction, the closest is the orb, the more pronounced are these qualities.
- Venus in exaltation gives deep thinking abilities and it is perfect for philosophy, think about philosophers like Kant, Plato (allegedly), Karl Marx. Or even scientists like Albert Einstein ( Venus in revati),all influenced our modern world in an unthinkable way.
-Jupiterians remind me of the perfect rennaissance man who is all-rounded excelling in every sphere of intelligence: you will find that they really have a deep love for education: absorbing information and utilizing it in everyday of their lives.
- Ketu people are so funny, the funniest imo like they are kind of lost and dgaf about people so they are really blunt and random it's just very comical
- Mars men are popular or rather notorious: they just have an effect on girls from what I observed: Chitra and Dhanista men most of the time. I know a Chitra sun guy that winks at you everytime you cross eyes with him lol, a dhanista sun and ascendant boy that I know had girls writing their snapchats all over his backpack in high-school also he would get purchased by them like they would form circles around him it was pretty funny to see
- Purva bhadrapada men are SASSY
- Rohini women are really sensitive about their appearance and love when people are jealous of them
- Venusians have a keen eye for aesthetics
- When it comes to writing poetry: Virgo people are simply the best : Uttara phalguni, Hasta and Chitra
- Ketu women are able to see through the illusions of life: especially ketu on the ascendant, their intuition is simply always right
- Having your sun in the 11th house makes you very likable, if it is not afflicted you will have a large circle of friends, be well known in your area.
- A lot of energy in the 12th house add an air of mystery on an individual it can really scare some people off: they can be excluded from their community, can be deemed as scary or weird
- If you want a venusian to like you : be pleasant, smell good, be funny, make them eat well, give out thoughtful gifts. Venus loves sensorial stimulation
- If you want to know what life direction you should be taking, look at your d9 and d60 charts
- Pisces women are in tune with their sexualities: they can loose their virginity at a really young age and are curious about this side of life
- Ashlesha people need to be careful about what they say: they grow up in really harsh environments so they internalize this harshness and sometimes they can really projects on others and hurt with their words for nothing kind of like a snake
Anyways I think that's all I will comeback with more astrology observations on more specific subjects.
Also be mindful, you can not analyze a chart without looking at it completely so these are not to be taken at the letter close, it can always differ depending on the chart: it is simply for entertainment.

ASTRO OBSERVATIONS PT.20
⚫ Opposite to the stereotype of Leo being a narcissist, its the Aquarians who are more narcissist than ANY other zodiac. Esp its the Dhanishta naks out of the Aqua naks who are so.
⚫ I have seen 3 Aquarian moons (of Dhanishta nak) who had a poverty stricken first half of life (childhood, teenage years) but then they become well off like rlly very well off in their second half (esp after marriage). They marry rich 🤑 too. What i am saying here is the dramatic transformation of their financial life.
⚫ Pisces men are physically abusive. That's it. Esp the March Pisces. They literally are a bully. (Dont be fooled by the beautiful doe eyes lol)
⚫ "WOW What voluminous and luscious hair he's got!" -my ♌ rising and moon mom commenting on a side character with insignificant role in a movie 🤣. I wasn't noticing that at all...but she seemed to be stuck on that feature 😂.
⚫ Martian influence on a chart can actually have a liking to dangerous weapons and ammunitions. (Like idk I weirdly love them 😂😂)
⚫ Females with Ketu ruled naks are the first group of people whom male perceive as "threat". (Second is mars btw). Like if the other person is a typical male (egoistic, chauvinist) they will literally hate you to the core coz they know you equal them in all ways (except you know what LMAO 🤣). So they'll try to pin you down or belittle you etc. (sad, but since I have experienced I wanted it to share w you guys)
⚫ Also I love the way Ketu Nak women get along becoz mostly they have so much in common. And by that I mean how the society (male dom) treats them. I am not saying they're an "outcast" but the reaction they face just coz the male species get intimidated by us which has an cascading effect on our mental peace is beyond tolerance.
⚫Ketu naks are sexyyyyyy 🖤👁️🫦👁️❤️🔥❤️🔥
(I always imagine a smokin hot biker girl 👩🏻🎤with leather jacket and smoky eyeshadow whenever I hear "Ashwini, Magha and Mula")
⚫ I have seen a Chart which was totally "Mars" chart and I'll tell you, that person has Aries asc, Moon, Mars and (Mercury ig is in Scorpio?idr) along with Scorpio sun. And that person is like personified version of the planet itself. So cunning and so shrewd, potentially be a mastermind. Statergic. Secretive af. (Might be their middle name to exaggerate). Close to their mom. Loves friends (friends over anything). Also they have a "reddish" tint to their skin (no health probs, but yeah that planet does that). Knows how to tackle any embarrassing moment in public and deal with it. (I am jealous of him coz i wanted to be like him in every way 😂)
⚫Lilith and Pluto aspects in natal chart can actually survive 8H synastry. Almost same energy and themes. 💀
⚫Why are Maghas the "scapegoat" of the family? Like they be framed in a situation with which they have no relation with. Its annoying to see. Its like you're locked in your room chilling and as soon as you step out, everyone in the family is blaming you for something or the other. Now you're the "bad guy". (Yo wtf 🤡). Added to the generosity of Leos, people target you often. 😕
⚫Libra men CANNOT stand loneliness and being ostracized at all in any way. I have seen this in every Libra I came across. For eg: if you're the "black sheep" they won't talk to you and will go with what the crowd says. And if people have outcasted them just becoz they're with you/involved with you, they'll drop you like hot potato. People say and stereotype Capricorns for being the one who cares about reputation and all, but her 'Venus-ruled-Saturn-exalted' sister also is same. 💀
(no wonder they're besties lol)
P.S: I read a post here which said "Eye contact with 8H synastry hits different" ( i am not copying, i don't remember the username) and boy is that true 💀💀💀. Like I was -->😯😳🫣. Coz I have experienced that 🤣🤣. It does, than any other eye contact I have seen. Lmao 🤣🤣.{Edit: its @zeldasnotes 🖤😁}
Hope you liked it 😁😊. Until next time! 👋🏻
Love you y'all ❤️❤️❤️

Journey of a Human soul through different Signs/Nakshatras :
> We will consider each sign as a stage of a soul when it is sent here on this planet to experience different aspects of life from birth to death.
1. Aries ♈, at this stage the soul is very very immature, even at times too demanding *just like a little child who gets angry or cries when things don't go their way*. But the most important thing about this sign is its honesty and assertiveness. It never shy away from speaking the truth even if its harsh. Still a stage when the soul has just begun its journey of understanding basics of life but has to work more on their subconscious as their subconscious is what keeps them in the backfoot.
The first part of Aries *Ashwini* makes a person very headstrong and very very quick with each and every task that they set to accomplish. They don't like to listen to what others have to say about their work or way of working since Ashwini is a Ketu ruled Nakshatra which makes it detached at times from their dear ones especially because it is only then they learn the basic meaning of independence. Ketu makes them disciplined at a very young age. *More about nakshatras in depth in other post for sure*.
The second part *Bharani* makes a person with enormous amount of
tolerance or patience for literally anything in life. Bharani influenced are often seen in caretaking facilities and hospitals which is no wonder they like to help and nurture people as much as possible. Some of these natives are also rigid and stubborn when it comes to their expenses as they spend recklessly and don't think twice.
The last part *1st pada of Kritika* makes someone who's a great leader but lacks proper finance management knowledge. They are also counted among impulsive shoppers because of their nature to get the most luxurious or solid item that's out there.
.
Basically at the Aries ♈ stage a soul is still quite impulsive and lacks proper analysis that is required to work/function at the best level. Still Aries makes a soul honest, diligent and confident in their decisions.
2. Taurus ♉, at this stage the soul has started to understand about materialistic and other values from the family and elders especially. *Just like the little kid who likes to play with toys and gets possessive over things which it owns*. The best about this sign is that the soul here is very very loyal but at times can act stubborn instead of thinking practically.
The first part of Taurus *Last three padas of Kritika* makes a person very materialistic, lack emotional stability at times but brings greater understanding of humans due to early success. Are often seen leading many companies where the ego 🌞 is important.
The second part of Taurus *Rohini* is yet another best placements especially for moon to be at since Moon & Rohini are closely linked in Vedic.
Storytime: *as according to the Vedic history, Moon/Chandra had 27 wives (all these constellations), but he truly loved Rohini and spent most of his time with her due to which the other sisters complained to their father Prajapati Daksha(the first son that Lord Brahma/creator of the universe had in first manvantra), which later resulted in Daksha giving Chandra the curse that his light would get completely turned into darkness (which is the new moon today). But later after requests of Chandra and other deities, Lord Shiva 🕉️(The Destroyer of Universe) decreased the effect of the curse by granting Moon the wish to keep changing its lunar cycle. *Instead of always being a full moon, now the moon was supposed to undergo various cycles for almost a month.
Rohini part of Taurus makes a person involved in beauty, luxury and other comforts of live with keen interest in family & personal endeavours. This makes the person's mind very balanced for the most part.
The last part of this sign *1st & 2nd pada of Mrigashirsa* brings out the more conversational side of the person. The person influenced more by this part of Taurus sign often like to involve in artistic or other unique pursuits which make them successful.
.
Hence at Taurus ♉, a soul truly understands what are the things that make it feel secure and safe. Whether it is emotional, physical, material or even spiritual. The soul has learnt how to make a living for itself by being grounded and self efficient.
3. Gemini ♊, at this stage the soul has started to get involved in more stimulating conversations and gets to understand more about courage, communication, intellectual side and other things meant to survive in the society. *Just like a kid who's learning to make new friends by making good use of their speech and thoughts*. This is naturally an outgoing sign which is meant to be quite extrovert and makes people like to delve more into stimulating conversations.
The first part of Gemini *Mrigashirsa pada 3rd & 4th* makes a person focused towards mental side of every relationship and also makes him restless at times due to constant fear that comes with putting their guard down at times. Mrigashirsa is linked with deer. Deers are highly susceptible of even the little dangers so Mrigashirsa people usually got those sixth sense in them.
The second part *Ardra* (which is considered to be Lord Shiva's birth constellation) is another one of the best sides of Gemini. This nakshatra influence makes a person intellectual and sharp minded to a level which is sometimes above those who doubt them. Ardra also makes a person quite intimidating as they never sit quiet unless & until they fulfill that very purpose. Ardra knows how to use their communication and other skills to defend/help someone who's unprivileged & are at the losing end of the war of LIFE.
The last part of Gemini *first three Punarvasu* deals with the more communicative and humble side of the sign. It makes a person very group work oriented and using their intellect towards every day matters *even family related*.
.
Hence at Gemini ♊ a soul truly understand that one needs to understand the proper manner to communicate with others especially the family, friends and people we're working with. Get a proper understanding of how one thinks and operates on a mental level & what do they actual mean by saying.
*Couldn't add gemini and cancer sign photos due to 10 images limit max in a post 🚶💀*.
4. Cancer, at this stage the soul has started to understand the emotions a lot more than the previous signs, the focus here is on the moon/mind in our lives.
*there's 3 parts/Nakshatras which come in the cancer sign*
The first being punarvasu (4th pada) which is more about playing the role of guru in people's life and having an optimistic approach as well. In other words living a life full of good karmas, honest, obedient and detached approach as well.
The second part *Pushya* is a very very emotional Cancer Nakshatra. It makes a person very intuitive and nurturing to the capacity of them going out of their way to help somebody just because they can feel their pain.
The last part comes *ashlesha* is a bit different from the first two. This is mercury ruled Nakshatra and makes one very intellectual & analytical towards their approach. They are also nurturing and caring like the other two signs but in a more practical sense.
.
Hence, Cancer is the stage where a soul is starting to under understanding life in the form of emotions. Delving deep into their emotions and figuring out what is it that they like or don't like.
5. Leo, at this stage the soul has started to function at its ego *Sun*. The soul still operates on emotions but the emotions here are detached for the most part *Leo/Sun influenced like to show their care for someone by their actions not by words*.
*I'll talk more about nakshatras after this but let's make this just a highlight on Signs in general*
The first half *magha* of Leo helps in understanding detachment at its best, gives seat of authority at a young but brings on lessons revolving around detachment with possessions as well as loved ones.
The second half *purva Phalguni* teaches a person how to become more creative & still lead others. It also makes someone who's not able to take anyone's order & is likely to give their work to others instead. They know how to manage someone under them/their subordinates.
The third part *Uttaraphalguni* teaches one how to to act in a more introspecting and know more about how to enhance their innate qualities to even more refined level.
.
At Leo the soul understands his/her place in the society and his thoughts about what they want to truly do. *follow someone and always rely on guidance living a life full of honesty, or become someone who has the purpose to lead others in their respective field of expertise*.
Leo teaches many things about one's personality, ego, decision making ability and on top of that Detachment as well *magha mostly*.
6. Virgo, at this stage the soul is starting to get started working on daily affairs and other things that need to be perfected in life. At Virgo and virgo one can truly become their best self to the highest level *skill wise*.
Virgo also shows the point where a soul is starting to learn to become more disciplined, understanding their purpose as well & working towards that onna regular basis.
*Virgo produces excellent craftsman, software engineers, architects & other different professionals which are expert in works which require attention to detail, practical approach.
The first part *other padas of Uttaraphalguni which come under Virgo sign* makes a person serious and even quite intimidating at times. They are very honest and like to ask the same from everyone else around them.
The second part *hasta* produces excellent craftsman who are very good with work related to their hands. They are skillful & have high emotion quotient as well due to Moon lordship over this constellation.
The last part *Chitra* makes one of the best architects, visual artists, and creative to a very high level sometimes *depending on the rest of the chart*. They have one of the best ability which is "attention to detail".
.
Virgo ♍ is hence the point where the soul is understanding life in a critical, disciplined & creative manner. Afterall it is very important to become critical after understanding the meaning of leadership *Leo ♌*.
7. Libra, at this stage the soul is at a quite successful level *financially* due to all the hardwork & methodical approach it followed, but now the main focus in Libra ♎ is to learn how to balance all the relationships, partnerships one has in life. The soul has to understand how to balance its ego even when it has achieved much success. The soul understands that it needs to calm down its ego *that which it understood in Leo*.
The first part *Chitra last padas falls in Libra* makes one creative in business and likes to live out there in the society rather than staying at home, and also makes one quite secretive with dealings *chitra 4th pada*
The second part *Swati* makes a person very very self going and independent. Swati influence also makes one initiate good within their relationships & they are very humble as well.
The last part *Vishakha till 3rd pada* makes a person very curious about life *Relationships/partnerships wise as well* and due to that curiousity they tend to get good guidance in life thus learning to stay firm within their bonds with others and growing together but towards different directions. The last part of Libra makes a person at times very very indecisive.
.
Hence at Libra ♎ the soul learns the importance of relationships & true bonding & also learns to maintain partnerships in life.
8. Scorpio ♏, at this the soul has now understood each and every relationship in his/her life. Now the time is to delve deep into your own mind and the most deepest & vulnerable part or sides of you. Now comes the stage where one has to strengthen the relationship even more and learn to avoid attachment to things & possessiveness to anything.
The first part *vishakha 4th pada* makes one quite wise but still secretive with their dealings of any sort whether emotional or physical.
The second part *Anuradha* makes a person firstly very very hardworking, they don't shy away from their shadow side and work towards improving themselves to even better level. Secondly, Anuradha also makes one understand hardships at a very young age due to Saturn lordship over this constellation, but the life after their self growth is always the best and the most luxurious.
The last part *jyestha* makes a person quite more secretive than the first two parts/nakshatras. Jyestha makes an authoritative & secretive at the same time. They are also very intellectual & communicative individuals & also understand the basic/complex psychology of themselves.
*Apart from this all the parts/Nakshatras under scorpio ♏ have to understand difference between protective nature & possessive nature. They need to learn to give the other person their space even if they mean a lot to them*
.
.
Hence at Scorpio one truly understands life (relationships, self psychology, finance management even many other esoteric aspects of life) at a very deep level. Since scorpio 🦂 likes to go deep into the ocean of wisdom and hidden knowledge which would benefit the humanity in general.
9. Sagittarius ♐, at this stage the soul is learning to understand the adventurous, philosophical, religious and freedom side of Life. The soul needs to understand what true freedom means whether its freedom of speech or action *only if the action and speech aren't ill intended*.
The first part *Mula* of Sagittarius is more about wisdom, diving deep into the roots/knowledge from our ancestors, practicing detachment & other forms of methods to control the mind *like meditation*.
The second part *Purva Ashadha* makes a person very creative and achieve early victory in life, also makes people enjoy the luxury of travelling and other adventures that life has to offer.
The last part *Uttarashadha upto 3rd pada* makes a person a Leader as well as very adventurous. A very wise soul but young by actions and outwardly nature at times with close ones.
At all these parts Sagittarius teaches the person different aspects of life in philosophical sense and much spiritual manner as well.
.
.
Thus at Sagittarius ♐ the soul learns philosophy, religion and other higher learning by living a life full of adventure now away from all the work and stress *even work is imp but it's imp to take time out for yourselves and be out there in the nature*.
10. Capricorn, at this stage the soul starts working towards its career and obligation towards the society even more after learning the philosophy and truths that life taught him/her after passing through Scorpio & Sagittarius.
Capricorn is about work, ambition, sense of duty & purpose.
The first part *last pada of Uttarashadha comes under Capricorn* makes a person very ambitious but still lacks the clarity between spiritual and material values at times.
Natives of this part/nakshatra pada are seen to be quite successful in career.
The second part *Shravana* makes a person very intuitive and empathetic. Makes a person a very good listener and is quite popular in their respective fields.
The last part *first two padas of Dhanishta* makes a first very athletic and outgoing individuals who are quite independent & successful in life. At times these natives are seen to stay single for the most part if their life *until they're finally ready to commit to someone after achieving a lot in life*.
.
.
Hence at Capricorn ♑ a soul truly understands ambitions, goals and gather material security for later life.
11. Aquarius at this stage the soul is now beginning to become more friendly, social *mostly at career or world out there*. The soul is meant to understand what's humanity truly about.
The first part *Dhanistha last two padas* makes a person very artistic and successful in everything they pursue. These are better for marital harmony than the first two padas under Capricorn ♑.
The second part *Shatabhisha* makes a person very very friendly, intellectual, sharp and even secretive at times *when it comes to things that are personal*. These people are also very successful and accomplished in their given work sectors. Most are also seen in divination related works as they tend to be spiritual too a certain extent.
The last part *Purva Bhadrapada till 3rd pada comes under Aquarius* makes a person intense, wealthy through own efforts, at times one of the worst tempers. This is also very friendly and humanitarian side of Aquarius but a lot more anger issues are seen here. The people influenced by this constellation have to only focus on two things : Their temper & their dual nature *deciding one thing & doing the complete opposite then*.
Hence at Aquarius ♒ a soul truly understands what humanity and spirituality is about. And how the material and spiritual can truly be balanced after all the hardships.
.
Now now now comes the final and most interesting sign of them all *my own moon sign which is my I can explain this one in much depth as I live that way in my mind*
.
.
12) Pisces, at this stage the soul has now reached a point where it has understood everything about materialism and what's spirituality about in his/her life. Pisces teaches the soul how to delve deep into the cosmic ocean of subconscious to a much much farther level than the rest of the signs because this is the higher plane the point where one is truly able to connect to the Divine Consciousness.
The first part *4th pada of Purvabhadrapada comes under Pisces* makes a person quite spiritual and honest but with the anger issues revolving around their life. They get frustrated even the little things which is the short side of this pada but apart from that this part of Pisces is about work towards the society and being at service to others.
The second part*Uttarabhadrapada* makes one very noble & beautiful inside out. Whatever they think is what they speak and that's the honesty about this Pisces constellation. UBP makes one very humane and generous with their wealth and quite introspective towards research about Humanity and origin in much more depth than other constellations. This constellation also signfies the spiritual awakening one experiences early in life which guides them to follow a spiritual path early.
The last part *Revati* makes a person very intuitive upto the highest level, sharp witted and curious individual. They are quite successful at a young age due to their sharp mercury qualities *Mercury rules over Revati Nakshatra* & also learn about spirituality early due to Jupiter influence, so they end up sharing their wealth of knowledge & material wealth with those who aren't able to experience those luxuries in life. *Another very humane constellation with a highly charitable nature*. They are also quite detached which helps them in the path of enlightenment.
.
Hence at Pisces ♓ a soul truly understands what their soul purpose is truly in life *at times quite early in life due to good fortune of Jupiter over the Pisces sign*.
The soul now has now surrendered to God & is now at his service *service towards the other children of God*.
.
.

MOVIE RANT " the ugly truth" (spoilers)
Saturn/solar woman and ketu/jupiter man dynamic
Watching this movie again and omgg the lead male (gerard butler as Mike) is so mula coded , mula men are the type to be acting like oh they're so brutally honest and real while also being the most deceptive mfs 💀 anyways I get the appeal cuz he literally oozes sex and in the movie women were throwing themselves at him , even him as an actor I imagine he gets that alot (the ketu male effect)
But then he met a saturnian/solar woman to challenge him (Katherine heigl as Abby) .. we'll get to that in a bit , first let's talk about the mula of it all 😭
So, more about Mike's character , this man actually pissed me lmao 😩 bro was straight up misogynistic , vulgar and objectifying women .. I can see the vishaka in him for sure w his excessive sexual nature and how he loves pissing ppl off esp women, his delivery is tactless and messy but his charisma makes it work.
There's men who hide their hidden agendas and how they're after sex and then there's men like mike who talk about it openly which makes them seem "honest" not necessarily right but not misleading either
Mula Nakshatra natives, particularly men, do have a reputation for speaking uncomfortable truths and expressing unconventional ideas. This is largely due to the energy of Ketu, the ruling planet of Mula, which is associated with detachment, enlightenment, and breaking illusions
Lets dive more into mula and why mula natives speak ugly truths
Rooted in Truth: The symbol of Mula Nakshatra is a bunch of roots, signifying its connection to the core or root of things. Natives tend to dig beneath the surface and expose what’s hidden, often unearthing unpleasant or harsh realities that others might prefer to ignore. They’re driven by a need to uncover the absolute truth, even if it makes others uncomfortable.
Ketu’s Influence: Ketu is associated with cutting off illusions and attachments. This energy makes Mula natives more focused on higher truths rather than societal norms or emotional niceties. They are not afraid to shatter delusions, even if it’s seen as disruptive.
Unconventional Thinkers: Mula natives often have a rebellious streak when it comes to tradition or societal expectations. They question norms, challenge authority, and bring up topics others may find taboo or uncomfortable. This makes them unconventional in their communication and thought processes. They might say things that are considered too blunt or radical, but it's because they see things from a broader, detached perspective.
In essence, Mula Nakshatra natives are the kind of people who aren't afraid to say what others are thinking but are too polite to express. They reveal truths that people often avoid or deny, and while this can make them seem unconventional or blunt, it’s part of their deep-seated desire for authenticity and transformation.
Mula's truth is subjective when it's stemming from unresolved issues or trauma , mula needs to dig deep and go to the root of the issue in order to find out the actual truth about themselves first and why they think the way they think. Are they operating from trauma and is their personal truth an extension of that? Or is their truth coming from their core being, spiritual and enlightened?
As for Mike in the movie , his views and his personal truth is clearly stemming from hurt, which is why he didn't want to love again
Let's move on to miss Abby
Abby's character is described as this "neurotic control freak" but I actually don't see her that way, I think she just knows what she wants and is assertive about it like in a true saturn woman fashion. We can also see she's a quite idealistic in love and needs her man to fit a specific criteria , we can see that more in the beginning when she's fantasising about her dream man however when she meets Mike , her wounds around masculinity comes up .. he brings out her frustration and aggressive side
Which makes me think, ofc a saturnian/solar woman can spot a ketu man's bullshit from a mile away and call him out for it LMAO like it must be so frustrating being around eachother but there's also alot of sexual chemistry bc of the obvious tension between them .. her being unlike other women like she's not throwing herself at him or seeking his approval made him want her more
In the beginning Mike starts teaching Abby about the art of seduction how to make the guy she's into , Colin (who happens to be a saturnian as well) chase her and desire her by playing into some character and being hard to get. (Ketu men understand feminine energy and attraction which is why they can come off passive and more so on the receiving end of affection and attention from the opposite gender)
Abby's saturn nature (anuradha) resonates w Colin (uttarabhadrapada) which explains why she sees him as a reliable, capable and respectful man .. very much opposite from Mike the mula man LOL
In the context of love and relationships, Anuradha is known for the quest for ideal love. However, this journey isn’t always smooth, as the mythology suggests a constant tension between desire and the discipline needed to maintain harmony.
Search for the Perfect Love: Natives can have an idealistic view of love, constantly seeking the perfect partner or relationship. They may feel like they are chasing after something elusive, driven by a deep emotional need to find someone who truly understands and fulfills them. This quest can sometimes lead to frustration, as they may feel that their expectations are difficult to meet.
A saturnian woman (and any woman being in her feminine nature for that matter) actually benefits more from applying this especially when it comes to dating , raising your standards and even being hard to get will make her more desirable. The moment abby started doing this she got the saturn guy Colin hooked , not only him but Mike as well.
Even tho Abby clearly despised Mike in the beginning ig she couldn't deny the sexual tension but on a deep level it was the fact that mike saw her for who she is (the control freak and her neurotic side) and still fell in love w her , while Colin the saturn guy was totally under the false impression of her being spontaneous and chill LOL , so she broke up w Colin and went for Mike bc he 'accepted her as she is therefore she accepted him as he is' he pushed her out of her limitations which was her idealized image of the perfect partner/man to where she feels more "sexually liberated" and overall open being her true self around him (on the other hand she challenged him to face his fear of commitment and actually be true to his heart and feelings for her , which was kinda cute ngl )
This is where her solar uttaraphalguni energy came thro to me the most, I feel like solar women hate being anything but their true selves , they're not rly good at pretending or manipulating at least not for long , the facade drops quickly as they realize it'll get them nowhere and they feel restricted by this false image
They appreciate people who see them for who they are and love them for it
Final Thoughts:
While the dynamic between an Anuradha (saturn) woman and a Mula (ketu) man may not always be easy, it offers the opportunity for deep transformation. The Anuradha woman’s grounded, disciplined approach can help anchor the Mula man, while the Mula man can inspire the Anuradha woman to break free from limitations and embrace new perspectives. This relationship can thrive if both partners are willing to respect each other’s differences and work towards a balanced partnership based on shared spiritual and emotional growth.
Rant over

Nakshatra Gunas - The Study of Underlying Motivations
I am part of that power which eternally wills evil and eternally works good.
For those unfamiliar with the concept, the Gunas of Nakshatras translate to the essential energetic disposition of the natives and the effect their have on their environment. This energy goes beyond words and simple communication. It is simply the vibrational imprint that these Nakshatras produce.
To understand the Gunas, we first need to understand the concepts of Rajas, Tamas and Sattva.
Rajas is the human pursuit of fulfillment of desire. It’s the material enjoyment and the planning, preserving and organizing that comes with that enjoyment as the prerequisite. It’s linked strictly to the concept that there is a certain lack that one must fulfill through the material world, but that lack is in reality lack of self awareness, that we are developing here. Rajasic planets are Mercury and Venus.
Tamas is the difficulties that are put in front of us for the purpose of our development, what we discover once we got to know ourselves enough through Rajas. Tamas is simply where we show spiritual ignorance, but the goal of Tamas is ultimately wrestling the dragon and breaking that ignorance. Here is where we face and overcome our “shadow side”, or fail to do so if the planet doesn’t perform well. Tamasic bodies are Rahu, Ketu, Saturn and Mars.
Sattva is the state of spiritual enlightenment. With that enlightenment comes satisfaction even among difficult circumstances, because Sattva is aware that even any difficulties of the Tamasic stage are an act of God for our self betterment. As a result, Sattvic natives are detached from obsessive desires but also excessive worries about the future. Sattvic planets are Sun, Moon and Jupiter.
If you look at the table above, you will see that each Nakshatra has three levels to it’s Guna nature.
Level one is the basic nature of each Nakshatra, but that only puts them into each group, showing that the first one through Rajas is achieving self awareness, the second one through Tamas confronts their darkness in interpersonal relationships and the last one achieves Sattvic bliss in collective participation. However, once we go beyond a certain level of simplicity, we discover a deeper story in levels two and three.
I will give you an example with Pushya, because it has all 3 Gunas in its nature. In its base, Pushya is a Rajasic Nakshatra, which means it desires to establish a structure in the physical world, based on its Dharmic interests. But as we move to level 2, we can see that Pushya’s underlying motivation is Sattva, meaning that there is desire in this Nakshatra to build physical, Rajasic structures as abodes to Sattvic practices. So the Rajasic desire has a spiritual tinge to it, because it allows one to feel the presence of God on Earth. Then, we get to level 3, the deepest, most hidden expression of what Pushya does. It creates Tamas, triggers in eyes of other people, because when structures of both Rajasic and Sattvic splendor appear in front of people, all their insecurities are lit up through contrast. As a result, actual contact with such splendor forces people into very deep self reflection, which causes discomfort and so reveals people’s lowest nature through Tamas. Pushya’s deepest desire is for all that splendor to purify their lowest parts also.
Another example that contains all 3 Gunas, Vishakha. Vishaka’s basis is Tamasic, showing its intimidating, fiery facade and overpowering nature. This Nakshatra causes superficial conflict or discomfort due to submission of either party in its immediate environment at first glance. However, as we go deeper to level 2, we discover Vishakha actually has a desire for a peaceful Sattvic state, and they are more assured in their chaos than people give them credit for. So the intentions of these natives are more pure than we expect at first glance, as they have an inherent positivity at their core and enjoy a friendly atmosphere. However, as we descend into level 3 we discover the presence of Rajas, their passionate desire nature and their talent to conquer the world, themselves and immerse in self development. This is also where these natives realize that the Tamas they were facing was due to others sensing their competitive nature and wanting to subdue them to eliminate them as potential rivals for their desires, and admit their own desire for growth and progress to themselves.
As you can see, each Nakshatra has a unique story that shows its progress, desires and complexities. Level 1 is the part of Nakshatras nature that seems the most obvious, down to level 3 which translates as energetic consequences that you might even think are unexpected. You can meet people who seem chaotic but desire peace, and people who seem polite but secretly want to create chaos. And all of these traits exist for a reason of the Nakshatras fulfilling their karmic destiny.

Vedic Astrology Observations
Moon Dominant Men: “Deep and Mysterious”
🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔
(GIF context: Taken from Shadowhunters depicting a gay couple with Matt Daddario (left) who is Moon Dominant [Hasta sun and ketu with ketu as moon nakshatra ruler] and Harry Shum Jr. (right) who is Rahu Dominant [Ardra moon and Swati Jupiter with Sun in Jupiter ruled nakshatra]. Both actors identify as straight.)
In Vedic astrology, the Moon, or “Chandra”, occupies a position of profound significance. It is coveted as the very embodiment of the mind, a symbol resonant with clarity, reflection, instincts, and cycles, which when combined come to form what we know as perceptual consciousness. Like the Moon, which shines by reflecting the Sun's light, the mind similarly reflects its environment. It captures and reinterprets external stimuli, forming a consciousness that is, in essence, an image similar to that of a mirror of the surrounding world. In Vedic astrology, the Moon is a celestial body that stands as the fundamental indicator of one’s capacity for emotion and extends to one’s ability of cogitation, shaping the manner in which thoughts and emotions are processed and articulated. In contrast to Western philosophical perspectives, which tend to dichotomize emotions and logic, framing them as diametric to one another, Vedic astrology presents the Moon as a mediator that brings the two faculties together through upholding the position that our cognitive and decision-making processes are inextricably linked with emotional undercurrents. It echoes a sentiment that, even in endeavors that ostensibly try to prioritize objectivity, such as with epistemological pursuits, true objective knowledge is nothing but an elusive ideal. This stems from the notion that our perception forms our reality, encapsulated in the phrase, “I am my universe.” This is where the significance of the Moon in Vedic astrology becomes particularly relevant. It posits the idea that our subconscious greatly influences our conscious mind, thereby molding our individual perceptions of reality and shaping the way we experience the world. It recognizes the limitations in our control over our mental faculties and how emotions actively play a part in deciding our thoughts and life trajectories, whether we like it or not. This allows the symbolism of the Moon in Vedic astrology to effectively capture the human condition's amalgamation of thought and feeling, thereby speaking to the interaction of light and shadow in the psyche and the ongoing process of mental transformation.
Men with a pronounced lunar influence in their astrological charts, notably distinguished by those with primary placements (Sun, Moon, or Ascendant) in or aspects with Moon-ruled nakshatras such as Rohini, Hasta, and Shravana (planetary dominance can be determined in more subtle ways as well), present an intriguing study into the nuanced expressions of masculinity and relational dynamics. Examples of Public figures like Henry Cavill, with his Shravana Ascendant and Moon in the first house, or fictional characters like Flynn Ryder, voiced by an actor with a Hasta Sun and Rohini Moon, exemplify a unique blend of characteristics associated with lunar dominance that I will continue to explore further.
(GIF and image contexts: The first GIF shown depicts Henry Cavill as Clark Kent in Man of Steel. The second is an image showing the fictional character Flynn Ryder side by side with his voice actor Zachary Levi.)
The influence of the Moon on men can be understood through the influence of the mother and the lens of "Yin and Yang" in Eastern philosophy. In Vedic astrology, the Moon's connection with the mother can be said to link the development and characteristics of individuals to the amount of nurture and emotional sustenance they were provided with as a child. This nurturing shapes the robusticity of their intrinsic Yin qualities – receptivity, passivity, intuition, and a deep connection with the maternal aspects of life, often linked to the feminine. These qualities are further symbolized by the Moon and its cycles, traditionally associated with menstruation, highlighting the cyclical and nurturing features of femininity. In contrast, Yang represents the dynamic, assertive, and outward energy projection, typically linked to the masculine and more solar sattvic energies. Men with Moon-dominance in their astrological profiles embody this Yin energy, exemplifying a reflective masculinity and an inward understanding of femininity. This inward orientation of Yin, shaped significantly by the emotional and nurturing bond with mother figures, provides these men with a deeper understanding and connection to various feminine aspects of life. At the same time, the outward orientation of Yang allows for an external connection to the masculine, producing a self-identified masculinity that is introspective and emotionally/mentally attuned to the feminine while still being confident in its own nature. This ultimately does have a dampening effect on their exhibition of traditionally masculine behaviors, being that men as a whole are ruled by the Sun and are said to be more solar, while women as a whole are ruled by the Moon and are said to be more lunar. (The 24-hour circadian rhythm is based on the male hormone cycle and aligns with the Earth's orbit relative to the sun, while women have what is known as an infradian rhythm, which follows the 28-day lunar cycle, for reference). This internal emphasis on Yin but external reflection of Yang in Moon-dominant men's personalities makes them emotionally rich and empathetic, displaying a unique blend of masculine and feminine energies that is both introspective and in harmony with the external world. The Moon serves to harmonize the intense energy of the Sun, offering calming and nurturing attributes, ultimately leading to the formation of a kind of masculinity in these men that is fluid and can express strength in gentleness and assertiveness in sensitivity. However, this can also make them uniquely susceptible to certain challenges, which I will continue to discuss further in the following paragraphs.
The Moon is also tied with its nodes: Rahu and Ketu, the two mathematical points where the Moon's orbit meets the ecliptic (if you didn’t know, the Moon does not directly follow the ecliptic itself, which is the sun's path in the sky; it’s about 5° off approaching either node). The Moon's astrological significance is intricately linked to Rahu and Ketu, with all three governing distinct facets of consciousness. Rahu, often depicted as the head of a dragon or the head without a body, symbolizes material desires and is associated with the future, representing the qualities we need to develop and the experiences we must have to grow. Rahu is primarily concerned with the rational mind and the projection of consciousness into the material realm, epitomizing ambition, desire, and worldly aspirations. It represents the part of the psyche that is outwardly focused, engaging with the tangible aspects of life that are said to paradoxically represent the illusion of Maya. Conversely, Ketu, commonly depicted as the dragon’s tail or a headless body, represents detachment, spirituality, and the internal journey. It is associated with the past and karmic baggage, indicating the lessons we have learned and the experiences we must release to evolve through Samsara to achieve Moksha. Ketu is about letting go and achieving spiritual enlightenment. It is associated with intense spirituality, introspection, and the aspects of the psyche that delve into the depths of the subconscious and the ineffable. Ketu represents the part of the mind that seeks to understand and connect with the intangible, the mystical, and the existential. (In Vedic mythology, Rahu and Ketu are said to be the same demon killed by Vishnu)
The Moon acts as a mediating conduit between these two nodes, attempting to balance the rational, materialistic impulses of Rahu with the spiritual, introspective tendencies of Ketu. It symbolizes the emotional and perceptual aspects of consciousness, playing a supreme role in how feelings and intuition are integrated with rational thought and spiritual insight. The Moon's position in a chart thus reflects the ongoing dance between the material and spiritual dimensions of human existence, influencing how individuals perceive and interact with the world around them. And because the moon works with the energy of both nodes, we can gain knowledge into the expression of Moon-dominant individuals by looking at aspects of Rahu-dominant and Ketu-dominant natives.
Rahu-dominant men often exhibit a desire for control, particularly in their mental environments. Their creativity often manifests in unique, sometimes eccentric ways, setting them apart in their expression and thought processes. These individuals typically lean towards liberal ideologies, embracing progressive and forward-thinking concepts but is often against society as a whole. Rahu-dominant men are often driven by ambition and a desire to achieve success and recognition. They are inclined to be more outwardly assertive in their quest for control, sometimes pursuing their goals with a relentless, almost aggressive, determination. This pursuit often leads them to challenge established norms and push boundaries, both socially and professionally. And while Moon-dominant men share traits with Rahu-dominant men, they exhibit distinct differences in how these characteristics are expressed and integrated into their personalities. Moon-dominant men tend to internalize their need for control, focusing more on emotional and psychological self-mastery. They are more concerned with understanding and regulating emotions rather than exerting control over external circumstances for the sake of gaining power, and they are more satiated with what they have rather than desiring what they don't, making them less materially-orirented than Rahu. Rahu men often have an obsession with external appearances and how others perceive them, trying to enforce their own rules or standards on others in order to gain the upper hand, but Moon men just want to maintain their own sense of security. They may still try to subtly reshape situations though, not to become the dominant power, but as a means to maintain their personal well-being, even at times to the detriment to others. Additionally, their approach to creativity is more reflective and introspective than what you might expect to see from Rahu, often drawing from deep emotional reservoirs and personal memories. Moon-dominant men may too challenge conventional thinking like Rahu dominant men, but their methods are typically more subtle and under the radar. For example, if a Moon-dominant man wants to avoid an arranged marriage, he might subtly express concerns or sadness about the marriage in a manner that is meant to gently persuade his family to rethink their decision. Simultaneously, he might engage in covert actions to disrupt the arrangement, such as discreetly creating scheduling conflicts and other minor obstacles that prevent it from happening efficiently as if to send unconscious signals that it was not "meant to be." In more extreme instances, he may feign agreement, choosing instead to engage in extramarital affairs, all while maintaining a cloak of compliance to avoid direct confrontation. This is in stark contrast to a Rahu man who will openly question and criticize the tradition, speaking out against his family to say it is stupid, and he may even actively rebel against it by running away to marry someone else.
(Add-on: both Rahu and Moon men possess an acute awareness of the perils of straying too far from rationality and thus are inclined to maintain a strong connection with external reality. They may encounter challenges when they engage too much with the immaterial, like dreaming, drugs, alcohol, gambling, etc., leading to their connection with external reality becoming tenuous. This disconnection can lead to issues such as escapism, addiction, and emotional disturbances, so be wary and try not to get to the point of obsession where you lose sight of your life.)
Conversely, Ketu-dominant men often possess a deep internal focus and an inclination towards introspection. Ketu-dominant men are often characterized by their profound spiritual orientation and a tendency towards seeking inner peace and enlightenment. They may exhibit a strong interest in the metaphysical or the mystical, delving into areas that transcend the material world. This spiritual pursuit often leads them to detach from worldly ambitions and superficial desires, making them appear aloof or disinterested in material success, paradoxically leading them to attract immense power. They tend to absorb energy from their surroundings, revealing truths in impactful ways and arousing servitude in others due to their stilled, void-like nature that makes people want to give to these men tirelessly. Ketu-dominant men might display a more pronounced detachment from their emotions. While they are capable of deep feeling, they often approach their emotions from a place of observation and analysis, rather than immersion. This detachment can sometimes be misinterpreted as coldness or indifference, but it is more accurately a sign of their deep internal processing and preference for solitude. Moon-dominant men, while sharing certain introspective and internal qualities with Ketu-dominant individuals, exhibit these traits in distinctly different ways, shaped by the unique lunar influence. while Moon-dominant individuals also exhibit introspection and depth, their focus is more on the emotional and psychological features. They are keenly attuned to the nuances of their own emotions as well as those of others, and this emotional sensitivity often translates into a strong sense of empathy and an intuitive understanding of human nature. Unlike the Ketu-dominant detachment, Moon-dominant men are more engaged with their immediate environment, forming deep emotional connections and valuing interpersonal relationships more than Ketu men (note that this also depends on the placement of moon in the chart as a whole, like 12 house Moon in Jyeshtha will be more Ketu-like for example). Moreover, Moon-dominant individuals may exhibit a fluctuating nature, akin to the waxing and waning phases of the Moon. They can be adaptable and receptive, often reflecting the energies around them, which can lead to a rich, albeit sometimes confusing, emotional life. This contrasts with the more consistent, inward-focused nature of Ketu-dominant men, who may remain unfazed by external circumstances, steadfast in their introspective approach for better or worse. People are drawn to both Moon and Ketu dominant men due to their compelling allure of hiddenness, but unlike the Ketu man that will remain still and almost hollow, absorbing all of the energy and power they come in contact with through their tamasic nature, Moon men will reflect energy back. This reflection of energy, softer and more reciprocal, differentiates Moon-dominant men from their Ketu-dominant counterparts, in the way that it doesn’t illicit as much discomfort in others. What usually happens with Ketu men is that others sense their inherent “emptiness,” which causes them dis-ease to the point where they will shower these men with energy in hopes that doing so will change the Ketu man or stabilize him. But Ketu men don’t work like that; their purpose is to take and consume, so no matter how much energy people give them, it is never going to be enough to make that penetrating uneasiness they give off go away. This isn’t a bad thing though. In fact, it is beneficial to the energies whose purpose it is to give, like Jupiter. It just comes down to the role people are meant to serve in this life. The differences between Moon and Ketu men highlight the unique ways in which they connect with and respond to the world around them as it relates to their Dharma.
Connecting Rahu and Ketu, because of the Moon’s relationship with both of these astrological energies, Moon-dominant natives will not only resonate with the powerful spiritual and subconscious layers of Ketu, but also to the more tangible, worldly, and reasoned aspirations represented by Rahu. This connection with Rahu and Ketu instills Moon-dominant men with a magnetic charm, characteristic of Ketu men, that is less domineering and still grounded in the more rational world of Rahu, making their allure more accessible and relatable to others. Unlike the piercing, sometimes overwhelming and obsessive depth of Ketu and the overbearing frigidity and judgments associated with Rahu, the Moon's influence results in more of a balanced persuasive appeal, empowering them with an immensely vitalizing aura. Overall, while there is a resemblance between the effects of Rahu/Ketu and the Moon, the way they manifest and are perceived is distinct. I think it bears mentioning that since the Moon deals with the energies of both, its natives are also susceptible to accompanying pitfalls for either. Because despite their inter-relation, the Moon’s integration of these energies can be messy. Rahu and Ketu are the extremes, which can end up eclipsing the Moon and/or the Sun, “swallowing” their energies (light) to try and destroy them. This solidifies the nodes’ place as natural adversaries of the luminaries.
(Add-on: There’s a balance that must be struck when dealing with these energies, and sometimes they can just be too difficult to manage, leading to things like insanity. While the Moon, Rahu, and Ketu are similar, it is important to remember the differences, with the main takeaway being to exercise awareness and moderation, as these energies can be seriously harmful when experienced in excess. Intriguingly, individuals under the influence of the Moon, Rahu, or Ketu bodies often show the most fascination with understanding psychology, perhaps drawn to explore the very forces that make them uniquely susceptible to emotional and mental turbulence. And oh… isn’t that poetic?)
Alright, now let’s get into the juice of things. As alluded to before, men whose astrological charts are heavily influenced by the moon have the ability to understand emotions and empathize deeply with the feelings of those around them, allowing them to form powerful connections within their relationships. Their insight into the human mind and “heart,” much like the Moon's light that gently illuminates the night, shines on the more hidden aspects of those they interact with. They are known for their exceptional depth of emotional acuity as well as having an intuitive grasp of mental states, including their own. This is typically not overt, however, since there is a concealed nature to the Moon, being traditionally associated with obscurity and subtle aspects of the human psyche. In addition to this, since men perceived as being outwardly feminine have historically been subjects of abuse and harsh treatment from society, Moon-dominant men are more inclined to sheath the less hardened parts of themselves for fear of social scorn. This is important to keep in mind, since Shravana is the most refined and mature expression of the Moon.
Symbolized by an ear, this nakshatra signifies listening, learning, and connection. It is associated with the acquisition of knowledge and the understanding of the world. Men influenced by Shravana may possess a strong inclination towards gathering information, being attentive listeners, and showing a deep interest in the narratives and experiences of others. This attentive and perceptive nature is a personification of the Moon's influence, producing qualities like empathy and understanding, which can be seen as more feminine in nature. Being in Capricorn (the natural ruler of house ten: career and reputation), it is also deeply entwined with themes of reputation and public perception in addition to control. This comes into focus when we consider how Vishnu, the Deity ruling over Shravana for men, is the preserver, suggesting a proclivity of these men to maintain their public reputations and personas through discipline (Saturn deals with control and discipline and is the ruler of Capricorn, for reference). Interestingly, I’ve noticed that Rohini and Hasta men tend to be more openly receptive than Shravana. Hasta is a nakshatra that is linked with dexterity and skill, symbolized by a hand, and more specifically with the ability to manifest one’s desires into the hand. The influence of its ruling deity Savitar, an incarnation of the Sun (contradictory, I know), gives Hasta characteristics of vigor, intelligence, and the ability to dispel ignorance. However, this solar influence is juxtaposed with the Moon's governance over Hasta, which brings in a more calculative desire for energy exchange through things like conversations, meetings, sex, negotiations, fighting, etc., which is not carried out in quite the same way as Sun-dominant men, being that the Moon introduces a more emotionally intelligent approach to these interactions. While the Sun's influence might drive a person towards externally focused actions where they expend energy carelessly, the Moon's guidance in Hasta gives a deeper sensitivity and awareness in their engagements. This means that their approach to energy exchanges, whether in professional settings, personal relationships, or even in conflict, tends to be more reflective and considerate of the emotional context. Men influenced by Hasta may exhibit a strong, vibrant persona, often marked by a commanding yet undeniably soft presence (I’ll reference him again, but the best example of this I could find is Leonardo DiCaprio who is Hasta Moon and Ascendant). Rohini, the first nakshatra under the dominion of the Moon and co-ruled by Venus in Taurus, is emblematic of the chariot, an ancient symbol related with themes of progress, movement, and evolution. This nakshatra's associations with growth, creation, and fertility find their roots in the nurturing energies of the Moon, where it is in exaltation, and the artistic, sensual qualities of Venus. The deity overseeing Rohini, Brahma, is revered as the creator in the Hindu pantheon, further intensifying the nakshatra's intrinsic connection to creativity, nurture, the enjoyment of creation, and the genesis of life. Rohini men often exude natural charm, emphasized by a creative and nurturing disposition. These qualities, resonating with the creative and generative aspects of Brahma, can be seen as more feminine in nature. However, due to societal pressures to adhere to traditional masculine norms, Rohini men might feel compelled to mask these traits. The pressure to conform to traditional masculine norms might lead Rohini men to stifle or conceal these aspects of their personalities, as I've come to acknowledge can be a facet of all Moon men.
The Moon's dominance in a man's chart can influence his expression of gender and identity, modulated by whether he is accepting of his femininity, as observed in public figures like David Bowie (Shravana asc. and Rohini rahu), Prince (Rohini sun and mercury), Troye Sivan (Rohini sun and mercury), etc. These men, embracing their lunar qualities, often work to defy traditional gender norms, adopting androgynous styles that symbolize the fluidity of their gender identity. Their choices in fashion - long, flowing hairstyles, delicate fabrics, and makeup or nail polish - are external manifestations of their inner lunar essence. Some even go as far as dressing up like women! It is not done in a castigating manner where they make fun of the idea as a form of humiliation either; rather, it is more of an attempt to make a full embrace of what it would be like to genuinely exist as a woman, albeit a tad bit over-exaggerated in terms of femininity, but to be fair, that’s the same for Moon-dominant women as well. (This is a bit of a tangent, so skip if you aren't interested. Interestingly I think these men’s personas of women are closer to Ashlesha [in cancer rashi ruled by moon but nakshatra ruler Mercury] than of Moon nakshatra women, possibly being a result of these men having so much pent up female sexuality that yearns to be dominated in much the same way as Ashlesha women, who act outwardly dominant to test the virality of others – beckoning to be overpowered. I noticed this in the new movie Expendables, which stars Jason Statham and Megan Fox (Ashlesha moon). In one scene, they are fighting and Megan Fox comes out on top before again being overpowered, demonstrating that the man is virile enough to "have"/contain/satisfy her. And then she redirects his penetrative energy yet again, which is a common theme of Ashlesha. The "cutesy" fake innocence at the beginning is also something Ashlesha women are known for.)
(GIF context: It shows Troye Sivan dressed in drag for his latest music video and song "One of Your Girls". He is also openly gay and for the time being has not declared he is trans, nonbinary, etc. For fun, you can compare that with this music video with Megan Fox, who is an Ashlesha woman to see what I mean when I compare them: video.)
However, most Moon-dominant men are not as comfortable expressing this duality so openly. Many, in response to societal pressures that valorize hyper-masculine traits and often stigmatize femininity in men, adopt a façade of heightened contentment, stoicism, and control. This outward show, mirroring the characteristics of Sun and Saturn-dominant men, is an attempt to conceal their innate Yin nature. Yet, akin to the Moon which only reflects the Sun's light in a softer, cooler manner, their portrayal of hyper-masculine traits is not pure or without cracks. People can still very much pick up on their the fact that they are simply reflecting masculinity while still internally housing receptive feminine energies, since they reveal themselves in small but noticeable ways that make them stand out from other men. They usually carry with them an undercurrent of mystery, farce, and a general tendency to be overly, and dare I say even comically, brutish, while their emotionally expressive nature still peeks through. This divergence from the archetype they emulate within imparts an illusory, intriguing energy to their persona, attracting some while aggravating others who are less willing to accept the illusion. The struggle to mask their true nature often leads to complex interpretations of these men. It reflects the multifaceted nature of the Moon, continuously oscillating between visibility and concealment, constantly changing from clarity to mystery. This theater play of lunar influence in their lives makes these men seem as though they are impossible to understand fully, impressing, confusing, perplexing, and captivating all who come across them.
Celebrities like Theo James (Hasta moon and Shravana venus), Christian Bale (Shravana sun), Noah Centineo (Shravana moon and ketu), Joe Jonas (Shravana moon and Hasta asc.), etc. find their sexuality and morality subject to speculation and even denial by the general public. This scrutiny mimics the way women are often doubted and judged, suggesting a societal judgement of the feminine nature. The public's perception and scrutiny of the sexuality and morality of these men often reaches a point where rumors and allegations, ranging from them secretly being gay or abusive, become rampant. This perceived incongruence between their public persona and private self can trigger a sense of being "lied to" in observers, leading to a backlash or a desire to uncover the 'truth' about these men. The Moon's influence, thus, extends beyond the individual to affect public perceptions and reactions in this way. This phenomenon also offers insight into why Moon-dominant male celebrities (in addition to Rahu and Ketu-dominant men, I’ve noticed) often find themselves cast in roles as gay characters, even while being openly straight, such as in the case of Jake Gyllenhaal (Rohini moon, Hasta jupiter and saturn, and Shravana ketu [his second dominant]) in "Brokeback Mountain,” Harry Styles (Hasta moon & Shravana sun and venus) in “My Policeman,” Ewan Mcgregor (Hasta asc. and cancer rashi ketu in Ashlesha) in “The Pillow Book,” Nick Robinson (Hasta sun) in “Love, Simon,” the examples I gave in the caption at the very beginning for Shadowhunter, etc.
(GIF contexts: The first GIF shows Theo James in the TV series "Sanditon" as Sidney Parker giving a cheekish smile. The second shows Harry Styles in "My Policeman" getting his neck kissed by his male lover while he smiles with enjoyment.)
The Moon's association with fluidity, hidden depths, and possessing understanding of emotions and identity makes these actors particularly adept at portraying complex, non-traditional roles (they are great at portraying emotions at all levels of intensity in general, with a prime example being Leonardo DiCaprio [Hasta moon and Asc. moon in 1st house]), who is known to be a phenomenal actor, almost shapeshifting into whatever a movie expects of him and displaying deep, powerful emotions). However, that being the case, Ketu and Rahu might still be more prominent when it comes to this trope of casting straight men to play gay roles, possibly due to homosexuality often being seen merely as the act of having sex with other men, rather than an intimately personal aspect of identity that has an impact on all areas of an individual’s life. This has the effect of reducing gay characters to straight men more willing to engage with ideas seen as non-conventional or morally perverse (more commonly associated with Rahu and Ketu), while still maintaining their straight charm that appeals to mainstream audiences. It is easier to depict gay men as "devouring" or Ketu-like, as seen in associations with Mula Nakshatra, which is related to the act of excretion from the anus, but this narrow depiction overlooks the complexity of sexual orientation, reducing it to pure physicality of external behavior. It fails to acknowledge that being gay encompasses a broad array of emotions, experiences, and identities far beyond superficial characteristics. Moon-dominant mens’ ability to resonate with and express a wide spectrum of human experiences, including those that challenge conventional norms, is enhanced by their lunar characteristics, but these themes might also be more prone to attracting false representation due to widespread misunderstandings. I’d also like to make it known that I am aware that there are many gay and bi Moon, Rahu, and Ketu-dominant men as well; they just aren’t nearly as common and hardly, if ever, get casted in the kind of deeper gay roles I'm referring to.
Continuing this exploration, it's evident that the very qualities that lend Moon-dominant men their depth, intrigue, and warmth can also lead to significant challenges. The Moon's inherent receptivity endows these individuals with a remarkable adaptability, which, while often a strength, can manifest in less positive avenues. Their exceptional ability to influence perceptions and beliefs, a direct result of their emotional responsiveness and innate understanding of the mind's energies, can become problematic. In certain circumstances, this lunar influence may veer into darker territories with one major potential downside in particular being emotional manipulation, where their intuitive grasp of human emotions can be misused for personal gain or to sway others unduly. Their innate power over emotion and human psychology can lead them to engage in behaviors such as lying, espionage, cheating/betrayal, infidelity, illegal clandestine activities, and exploitation. The Moon's association with hidden aspects and the subconscious mind makes its natives highly skilled at navigating these activities, sometimes even leading them into antisocial or unethical paths, which can be seen in many different media portrayals I’ll cover later on. But for now, I will point to the personal life example of Ryan Philippe (Shravana asc. & Hasta mercury), who is notorious for his multiple instances of cheating on his wife and other subsequent partners, in addition to a history of drug misuse and allegations of domestic violence. An important thing to note when I speak about these things, however, is that while they can be masters of manipulation, Moon-nakshatra men do not possess complete control over the mind to the point where they always get people to do anything they want. Similar to the Moon relying on the Sun's light, their "power" actually depends on people willing to project onto and exchange energy with them, which can make Moon-dominant men extremely vulnerable, even more so than Moon women (people will instinctually try to defend moon women because they perceive them as being pure and innocent, unable to protect themselves; the same sentiment is not afforded to Moon men, who people think should be able to defend themselves with their physical power). In fact, Moon-dominant men often struggle to set boundaries due to a fear of direct confrontation as well as a desire to be what other people want of them, often worshipping the people they are closest to (they really want respect and attention from others and will endure harsh treatment or act untoward if it means getting that from someone they respect themselves, sometimes to an unhealthy extreme). That brings me to my next point of abuse... Whether inflicted or incurred, abuse (especially relating to domesticity and women) is another shadowy aspect of the Moon's influence in Vedic astrology, aligning with many of the experiences of Moon-dominant men in media and in real life. The frequent association of moon-dominant men with themes of abuse in media – be it as perpetrators, victims, or both – intertwines notions of vulnerability and aggression, showing the darker side that emotions can take, and subsequently, the darker side humanity can take as well. Overall, it makes sense why people often connect Moon men to ideas of abuse in media and in real life, such as with Evan Peters (Hasta moon and Shravana mercury) in “American Horror Story—Coven” where he was sexually abused by his mother (among other things; that show put him through it...), Christian Bale (Shravana sun) in American Psycho being abusive towards women, Tom Hardy (Hasta moon and Rahu) in “Peaky Blinders” being extremely violent and hedonistic, etc.
(Add-on: This is a bit of sensitive topic related to sexualization, so discretion is advised. Just as women traditionally face sexual objectification, Moon-dominant men may also encounter similar treatment due to their inherent passivity and receptive nature, leading to sexualization and other forms of scrutiny that stem from societal tendencies to view individuals who are more passive and receptive as feminine as being more accessible to take advantage of. This sexualization, particularly prevalent in the portrayal of these men in scenes of nudity [I've yet to find a Moon-dominant male actor who has not done a nude scene, even though many speak about how they did not want to do it at the time and felt uncomfortable] or in the adult film industry (an industry known for its connections with abuse) where I've found Moon men to be most over-represented in terms of planetary dominance, showcases a societal inclination to exploit those exhibiting traits diverging from traditional assertiveness.)
(GIF contexts: The first GIF shows Evan Peters in American Horror Story Crying. The second GIF is of Tom Hardy in Peaky Blinders smoking.)
In the film industry, the energies of Moon-dominant men, characterized by their complex emotions, adaptability, and concealed depths, are astutely recognized by directors. This insight informs casting decisions, often placing Moon-dominant actors in roles that mirror the multifaceted nature inherent in them. Christian Bale's (Shravana sun) portrayal of Jim Luther in "Harsh Times" exemplifies this, exploring the darker recesses of the human psyche, a reflection of the Moon's association with concealed motives and intricate emotional situations. Similarly, Denzel Washington's (Shravana moon, Hasta asc.) performances in "American Gangster" and "Training Day" depict a tough exterior masking a softer core, Michele Morrone (Hasta sun & venus and Shravana rahu) in "365 Days" intertwines criminal elements with deep emotional entanglement, and Tom Hiddleston's (this one is super interesting because, while he doesn't have any primary moon placements, he does have Hasta jupiter & saturn— the moon nakshatra ruler and subruler of his chart plus Shravana Venus and ketu, so I consider him moon-dominant) Loki across Marvel films embodies cunning coupled with hidden vulnerability. Matt Daddario (see top of post) and Matt Bomer (Hasta moon, mercury, and rahu), in "Shadowhunters" and "White Collar" respectively, delve into the realms of a secret society of demon hunting & then crime/subterfuge with personal attachments to it, personifying the Moon's nature.
(GIF contexts: The first GIF shows Michele Morrone in 365 days shirtless and talking while looking down. The second GIF is taken from White Collar showing Matt Bomer talking frantically.)
Zachary Levi as Flynn Ryder personifies this duality - mischievous yet sensitive, conniving yet protective, masculine yet feminine, seeking introspective depth yet maintaining material asperations, and so on. Followed by Henry Cavill's roles, particularly Superman and Geralt, further illustrate this theme of his invincible, hyper-masculine superhero persona of Superman veiling the sensitive, complex nature of Clark Kent that he must keep hidden through great discipline (The original actor for Superman Kirk Alyn was also moon dominant (Hasta sun and mars with a lot of his chart's energy tracing back to sun). One the other hand, Christoper Reeve– arguably one of the most popular actors to play Superman– has his Sun and Mercury less than one degree away from being in Hasta, but overall, his chart is still Sun-dominated with a lot of Uttara Phalguni and Krikita, which makes sense because one: it was old hollywood, and two: the reason people love him is for his portrayal as the hyper-masculine persona of Superman, which would have been closer to Reeve's true nature anyway. In my opinion, his portrayal as Clark Kent is kind of bad because he treats that like it is supposed to be his geeky alter-ego rather than the fact that he would have been raised as Clark Kent– the humble farm boy from Kansas, not as Superman. Anyway, rant over). And Geralt, who presents a facade of absolute masculine strength defeating monsters for a living and projecting a sense of detachment from others, all while concealing a deeper, more nurturing and intimate side of himself. These portrayals, necessitating depth and often grappling with themes of manipulation and other complex moral dynamics, go hand-in-hand with the Moon's influence on hidden emotional strata and ethical complexities. The performances of these actors align with the experiences of many Moon-dominant men, reflecting the nature of their personalities. (Thank you so much to anyone who read this entire thing! 🙂 I know it’s a ton of information to get through, so I do really appreciate any time and effort people put into reading this!)

Algol and Perseus
The rescuer and the demon
Sebastiano Ricci Antonio Canova
Algol is the beta star of the constellation Perseus, currently sitting at 26° Taurus, known as “the demon star” or "blinking demon", its name comes from the arabic Al Ghul meaning "the demon". To hellenistic astrology it represents Medusa’s head, which Perseus holds on one hand, while on the other he has his sword. An important characteristic of Algol is that its glow has a regular variation, it loses half of its brightness for hours and then it gains back. It was believed by astrologers to be an eclipsing star, which means that another non-visible body would be orbiting it and therefore eclipsing its light from time to time. They were half right, because it was later discovered to be an eclipsing star system, and that Algol was actually 3 stars, just like the Gorgon sisters are three: the imortals Stheno and Euryale, and the mortal Medusa. This is such a hallmark of Algol that it gave its name to its class of eclipsing variable: Algol variable.
Eclipses are associated with death, basically because light in astrology is life-giving, and loss of light is death. But it’s interesting that it's frequently associated with the "demonic", capital punishment and decapitation. Algol is telling a story about the decapitation of a “demon”, just like the lunar nodes (Rahu and Ketu) do in the Jyotish tradition when they cause eclipses. Ptolemy only tells us that the constellation of Perseus is like Jupiter and Saturn. Although Robson agrees with Agrippa about Algol specifically being of the nature of Saturn-Jupiter, and “the most evil star in the heavens”, causing a lot of fear whenever we see it activated in a chart. But I’m not here to scare anybody, don’t worry. It’s difficult, but I’ll try to lighten this up, because the most overlooked fact about Algol is that it also protects and can make revolutions and revolutionary heros.
"Perseus is like Jupiter and Saturn: but the nebula, in the hilt of the sword, is like Mars and Mercury." (Ptolemy - Tetrabiblos) "It causes misfortune, violence, decapitation, hanging, electrocution and mob violence, and gives a dogged and violent nature that causes death to the native or others. It is the most evil star in the heavens" (Vivian E. Robson - The Fixed Stars and Constellations in Astrology)
Illustrations from Al-Sūfī's book of fixed stars
Eletrocution or electrical problems are an issue with eclipses and apparently also eclipsing star-systems like Algol. This is noted by Christopher Warnock about his Algol talismans:
"I have had multiple reports and have myself experienced Algol’s tendency to cause electrical and electronic interference when the talisman is first used. I mysteriously lost my Internet connection for an hour and my electronic thermostat died. One user had his entire block lose power. Less frequently but still regularly clients have reported that while wearing their Algol talisman, “weird” or “freaky” people took one look at them and fled." (Christopher Warnock - Fixed star, Sign and Constellation Magic)
Other one of its proeminent themes is vengeance, or the dichotomy of justice vs vengeance, but the effect of reflecting back evil that's sent towards its direction, or of ending curses describes it better in my opinion. About the images of the fixed Behenian stars, Agrippa says that:
“Under Caput Algol, they made an image whose figure was the head of a man with a long beard, having a bloody neck. This brought the good outcome of petitions, gave the bearer boldness and nobility, preserved members of the body from injury, helped against sorceries, and reflected evil attempts and evil incantations from enemies”. (Agrippa's Three Books of Occult Philosophy - Eric Purdue's translation)
Piero di Cosimo
This protection side of the star is illustrated by the story of the champion Perseus not just decapitating the demon but using its head to free Andromeda from her chains and saving her and her city from another monster, and then Athena herself starts using the head of Medusa as a symbol on her shield. As established, this is a star of the nature of Jupiter and Saturn. The nature of Saturn is evidenced even by the names given to the star: demon, cacodaemon, which is also the greek name for the 12th house. Imprisonment, monstruosity and madness are clearly the most important Saturn and 12th house themes. But Algol is a protective star, particularly in astrological magic, although I'll show how this kinda manifests in nativities as well. Algol is mainly of a jupiterian nature, that's why it does liberates. The head is an evil daemon but also a protection amulet. This is interesting regarding the eclipsing factor and the similarity of the significations with the Jyotish Rahu and Ketu. In western astrology the nodes are considered to have effects like Jupiter and Saturn, and the topic of imprisonment-liberation is explored in the dynamic of the two*.
With the new interpretations of the Medusa myth, some astrologers say that Algol can be about "female rage" or "dark feminine", or "feminine jealousy" etc. I think this is one of the stories that people mix the astrological meaning with the morality of the greek myth associated with the star the most. The greek myth is not really the star and the star is not the greek myth. In my opinion, you always must take into consideration that some things can be just the way the greeks or romans viewed a certain theme, and of course they would put a violated woman to represent a monster on a mindless vendetta, and it's not meant to be complimentary. I believe that's already way beyond Algol's effects, it could be just their misogyny projected onto the stars. I can think of examples where I can see that kind of story taking place, but that doesn’t mean that the star is about those things, but just that this is one possibility because we live in patriarchy and things around women's issues can get ugly in an Algol manner. The star can be about capital punishment, monstruosity, madness, captivity, violation, injustice, vengeance, evil daemonic influences etc, but it's not really about cishet women. So, even though I’m also using the greek myth here, I’m not giving the most importance to the detail that it is a story about a woman receiving unfair punishment and that there's a lack of comradery between women, because I'm interested in the star beyond what greeks and romans said, because the stars can’t be represented by just one hegemonic narrative. A lot of other cultures had their different stories about Algol, the Medusa one isn’t special to the point that we could assume every detail about it, even its moral issues (which are also in this case suffering a bit from anachronism), has meaning for the star associated.
Perseus is a spring time constellation very near the bull (taurus), and that may sound too nice for such a scary one. But in babylonian astrology, the stars of Perseus actually formed the constellation of the Old Man, who also held a decapitated head and a rod instead of a sword. Of it, Gavin White has an interesting perspective to share:
“At this time of natural abundance, the earth was thought to ‘open up’ in order to yield her bounty, but to the archaic mind this opening up was accompanied by a host of dangers, chief of which was the potential pollution from the dead who could gain easy access to the upper worlds at this pivotal time. In light of this belief, I would suggest that the Old Man, with his wand and prophylactic head, is banishing the ghosts of the old year and driving them back to the underworld.”
Illutration from Gavin White's Babylonian Star-Lore
There's a lot of examples of charts for literal decapitation or capital punishment, injuries to the head or neck area as obvious manifestations of the star: The most famous is probably the catholic Saint George, who is said to have been executed by decapitation on April 23 back when that was the time of year when the Sun would conjunct Algol, and he later became associated with the constellation. Back then, Algol was at 2° Taurus. Gianni Versace, who had Algol on the descendant, famously made Medusa the logo of his brand and also died with a bullet to the head. Freud had Mercury with Algol, his 8th house ruler, and he died with throat cancer. Nick Yarris, who spent two decades on death row after he was wrongfully convicted of murder, has the Sun with Algol. Patrick Henry had Jupiter, and he was a murderer whose case influenced the abolition of the death penalty in France, which was done by the method of guillotine until its abolition. He was defended by Robert Badinter, who was an activist against the death penalty and could sucessfully propose its abolition in 1981. Badinter has Jupiter with the alpha of Andromeda in the first house. France has a thing with decapitation, some of the charts for its republics have either Algol or Mirfak activated, the alpha star of Perseus.
Algol and Madness
But I want to talk about Algol's special relationship with madness, in the demonized/criminalized sense, because after all, "the demon" is unwanted, it frequently represents the marginalized and their opression. In Brazil's history, especially during the military dictatorship organized and imposed by usamerican capitalist imperialism, asylums imprisoned and tortured mainly black people, women and queer people. Some asylums got so overwhelmed that they became concentration camps, like the famous case of Hospital Colônia in Barbacena, known as the Brazilian Holocaust case, where people died by the thousands from starvation, hypothermia, anemia, STI's, untreated diseases from the lack of hygiene etc. Some important psychiatrists, psychologists, psychoanalysts have Algol activated by some planet. Freud has Mercury, Fritz Perls has Jupiter, David Healy, who literally has a book titled "The Decapitation of Care", has Venus. But what's more interesting to me is the protection element of Algol in some cases and its role in mad liberation movements, after all, Perseus is a liberator. Algol shows up in very important people in the pysch field who question medical power and have antipsych views, and on important events of the psychiatric reform.
Hospital Colônia de Barbacena - MG
Franco Basaglia, the main responsible for the dismantling of psychiatric hospitals and for the psychiatric reform in Italy and for inspiring the one in Brazil, had the Moon with Algol in the 10th house, representing his deeds, while ruling the 12th. In Italy, the Law 180 (Basaglia Law), the Psychiatric Reform law that determined the progressive extinction of asylums throughout the italian territory, was sanctioned with the Sun on Algol. In Brazil, on May 18, 1987, the exact day of the year that the Sun conjuncts Algol, a meeting of mental health workers at a conference was the major milestone for Brazilian health reform and the anti-asylum movement. And since that event, May 18th has become our national anti-asylum movement day, and it becomes more and more culturally relevant as a day to discuss psychiatric reform and the fight to guarantee the rights and autonomy of mental patients.
Marches on May 18th
An important activist, Austregésilo Bueno, born with the Sun with Algol, survivor of compulsory hospitalization in asylums in the 70s, wrote a book "Canto dos Malditos" about his horrible experiences as a psychiatric patient treated with eletroshock therapy (another one of Algol's effects). He had his book adapted to film and his story played by the actor Rodrigo Santoro, who has Algol on the Ascendant. The name of the film is Brainstorm in English, but I find the original "Bicho de Sete Cabeças" much more compelling. It's a truly devastating story, and it's the story of thousands unfortunately.
One thing about Saturn and madness is the recurring idea of wearing masks. Masks and theatre have always been associated with Saturn. Saturnalia was a roman festival where all the roles switched, where kings pretended to be fools and fools pretended to be kings. In modern astrology Saturn ended up associated a lot with a raw and harsh reality, disregarding the most mystical and unreal characteristics of Saturn that have always been present. Although life, reality, identity and reason are always a performance, we're always wearing a mask and performing life. There's a point in the movie "Bicho de Sete Cabeças" when the protagonist is having a difficult time on his first days of being an inmate, he's fighting too much against the forced treatment and expressing too much unsatisfaction with his imprisonment, thus getting even more forcebly medicated and punished by the staff. At this point one of the older inmates shares an important advice with him:
"You have to pretend, who in this world doesn't pretend? You have to say that you're in a good mood, you have to say that you're not hungry, you have to say that you don't have a toothache, you have to say that you're not afraid, otherwise you can't do it, you can't do it. No doctor ever told me that hunger and poverty can lead to mental disorders, but those who don't eat become nervous, those who don't eat and see their family go without eating can go crazy, a discontentment can lead to madness, a death in the family, the abandonment of the great love. We even need to pretend to be insane when we're insane, pretend to be a poet when we're a poet."
It's a powerful speech about the farce of medicine's ownership over the subject of madness, the farce of reason and that it must subjugate or dominate madness. Pretending and acting out the platonic ideal behavior at all situations under all circumstances, as if it's normal, that's the only way anyone is seen as sane.
Bicho de Sete Cabeças (2000)
Another important date in brazillian history is the 13th of May 1888, the day of the passing of the law that abolished slavery, which also had Algol activated by the Sun. This was obviously not the definite end of slavery and not the end of the struggle of black brazilians, just like the Basaglia Law didn't mean mad liberation, but I'm just demonstrating how powerful Algol is to protect from evil and put an end to injustice in an official and legislative manner. Like Saint George defeating the dragon, Perseus defeats a monster that is impossible to defeat, the "impossible victory" and liberation is recurrent in the stories linked to it. Systemic opression and injustices a lot of times seem like impossible problems, it becomes harder and harder to imagine a world where they don't exist, but Algol events revolutionize the impossible.
"The important thing is that we have proven that the impossible becomes possible. Ten, fifteen, twenty years ago it was unthinkable that a mental hospital could be destroyed. Maybe mental hospitals will return to being closed and more closed than before, I don't know, but in any case we have demonstrated that the mad can be cared for in another way, and testimony is fundamental. I don't think that the fact that an action manages to energize itself means that it has been won. The important point is another, it is that now we know what can be done." (Franco Basaglia - Conferenze brasiliane)
An important honorable mention should be made to Carlos Marighella, a guerrilheiro in the resistance of the brazilian military dictatorship who was executed before he could see our democratization. He had Mars with Algol.
"The urban guerrilheiro is an implacable enemy of the government and inflicts systematic harm on authorities and men who dominate and exercise power. The main work of the urban guerrilheiro is to distract, tire and demoralize the military, the military dictatorship and repressive forces, and also attack and destroy the wealth of north americans, foreign managers, and the Brazilian upper class. But the fundamental and decisive characteristic of the urban guerrilheiro is that he is a man who fights with weapons; given this condition, there is little chance that he will be able to pursue his normal profession for a long time or the reference of the class struggle, since it is inevitable and necessarily expected, the armed conflict of urban guerrilla against the essential objectives: A. The physical extermination of the leaders and assistants of the armed forces and the police. B. The expropriation of government resources and those who belong to the big capitalists, landowners, and imperialists, with small expropriations used to maintain the individual urban guerrilheiro and large expropriations for the support of the same revolution. (Carlos Marighella - Manual do Guerrilheiro Urbano)
Algol in Cannes
Lunga in Bacurau (2019), the first queer Perseus I know. The actor Silvero Pereira has Venus on Algol.
I’ve said here before how much I love Bacurau. The movie premiered in Cannes, on May 15, 2019, at 10 pm**. This is a chart full of fixed stars, with the Sun with Algol in the 6th house. You'll find in the film the Algol classic of extreme injustice being overcome. But one curious thing is that the Cannes Film Festival always happens around the same time of year when the Sun is at the last degrees of Taurus and beginning of Gemini, making a lot of the movies premiered at Cannes have Algol activated. And it shows. It’s a great opportunity to watch how varied the Algol themes can be. On that same year of 2019, they had: THE DEAD DON’T DIE by JIM JARMUSCH, a pretty obvious Algol movie about zombies, whom you defeat by cutting off the head, of course; LES MISÉRABLES by LADJ LY, inspired by a real-life event of police violence that inspired the 2005 riots in Paris, it seems to have a very radicalized discourse about raging against violent injustices; ATLANTIQUE (ATLANTICS) by MATI DIOP has dead unpaid workers coming back as spirits possessing their city’s inhabitants to take vengeance on the tycoon who withheld their payment; LITTLE JOE by JESSICA HAUSNER is a film about a lab created flower that alters people's behavior in strange ways, and these last two kinda have the feeling of that "spring danger" Gavin White talks about. DOLOR Y GLORIA (PAIN AND GLORY) by PEDRO ALMODÓVAR has Antonio Banderas as the protagonist who develops dysphagia, caused by a caucified growth in his neck. Etc. And these are all just some of the 2019 films. I haven't watched most of them, but you can always look for the films which had their first screenings around 14-20 of May and they'll be rich in Algol content.
So, I'll leave you with that: a bunch of movie recommendations. Thank you for reading.
--
*Adam Elenbaas has my favorite content on the subject of the nodes or Rahu-Ketu.
** You can research the screening guide for an edition to find the time.

Power of your first house .
Hello my dear love ❤️.
I am truly grateful for all positive and lovely responses and reply, shows that how much we we all want to learn and evolve..
Difficult situations that we face in our lives caused by debi or afflicted planets are not only because of our bad karma, it is very wrong way of interpreting astrology.
Remember "Greater the struggles higher is the reward" sometimes struggles change us, isolation change us for our good, so let us stop judging our own chart as good and bad planets because even devine planet like Jupiter can also have side effects and bad side
Every planet has good and bad so let us not use Astrology just to know how bad it can get but use it as powerful tool to know our energy and allign with it.
If your intentions are bad then even good karma could become bad and if intentions are good bad karma also becomes good, it is said, if you speak lie to save someone then it is not wrong
So stop blaming and judging yourself on the basis of planet and chart and focus on knowing you better.
Moon is the only planet that can make us cheater or even saint, and moon rules your mind, even if all planets are debilitated or afflicted and only one planet that is Moon or your mind is in control then no planet can harm you..
So, always focus on Moon as moon is also your subconscious mind and power of subconscious mind is unlimited.
Moon is fastest moving planet hence it should be one and only planet we all should focus on is controlling your mind
If you suffer from anxiety, depression, confusion then you don't have to look in your chart your moon is afflicted.
Other planet which is important is Ketu that is your "Intention ' and your ability to let go, that is why ketu is exalted in eighth and 12thbhouse, if you can let go things easily from your mind, then you don't need remedy for any house or any planet.
First house is very important and it is the house of self, that is why Start astrology with self awareness that is your first house don't jump to 12th or eight house directly without knowing yourself.
Make your first house strong, if you know yourself then you know the universe.
Sit in isolation to improve your Moon and ask your self " Who am I"?
This meditation will improve your moon and first house both.
Astrology starts from inside first and knowing yourself..

South Node and how we detached from our partners: Synastry Edition part 2
Ok, I have to say that even though SN is a really karmic point in our chart, I recently found out that all that theory of reincarnation and past life is something really recent (apparently) and in old vendic astrology they consider North Node and South Node shadow planets, I don't necessarily dismiss the reincarnation and past karma theory, but in my little research I found interesting how they see this shadow planets like a challenging energy (malefics), for North Node is mainly known for its obsessive, tricky and materialistic characteristics (due to its lack of a physical body) and the South Node is known for it's detachment, elusive and introspective characteristics (due to the lack of a head).
Accordingly to what I already explained, I notice that it makes a lot of sense to see their effect in that area of our chart, and in the area of others chart (synastry), I notice something that change a lot in old vendic astrology is that they don't try to make people erase their SN, instead they encourage people to learn both lesson (Rahu and Ketu) and also Ketu, even with it's malefic energy, is really prominent in charts of great astrologers.
With that in mind, we can say Ketu make us detached from all the material word and the tangible, so it's effects force an introspection (the kind of introspection is going to be dictated by the sign Ketu is in) that is going to take away our physical sense in the area of our life, example: if you have Ketu in cancer in the 5th house, your going to have an emotional introspection that make you detached to your children, your creative project, your childhood or your inner child, this is to gain a sense of reflection and individualism (a head) in that area of our life.
Now we will see how ketu detachment can manifest in synastry depending of the axis it touch:
Their/ your ketu in the 7th house: This is twin flames placement for sure, Ketu person probably find a lot in common with the house person (Rahu in the 1st house), this can be great, but also can bring a lot of jealousy into the interaction, Ketu person may feel lacking in front of house person, and this could turn an instant click into a passive aggressive approach to the other, ketu person is unable to not notice house person, but they'll try to dismiss any potential relationships they could have with house person; that's when Ketu person may start to mimic house person behavior (trying to get a reaction), but then dismissing house person likeability or attractiveness, ketu person motivated by their own insecurities (Rahu in the 1st house) will denied any interest they may feel in the other person. I studied a case where Ketu person actively did stuff to provoke the house person, but then just acted like house person was crazy when confronted, honestly this placement can bring a lot of gaslighting if not develop.
Their/ your Ketu in the 8th house: Stalker tendencies can come with this placement, specially the house person can feel a lot of intrigue for the Ketu person. House person feel extreme dislike for Ketu person, but somehow they still obsess with what Ketu person do, may even extort Ketu person cause they feel a need to control Ketu person dangerous side; also Ketu person may feel entitled of house person possessions, so it's not unusual seeing this in s*x workers who trick guys, or guys (house person) who wants to dominate s*x workers (Ketu person). Ketu person may wants house person money and nothing else (Rahu in the 2nd house), and may refuse any intimate request make by the house person, this can make the house person aggressively pursue Ketu person and try to control financially what they do or don't do. Ketu person may feel disrespected emotionally by house person intense approach. I've seen this in criminal-victim dynamics, and some of them ended violently.
Their/ your Ketu in the 9th house: like with any Ketu placements, there's always going to be some difficulties, but actually Ketu in the 9th house tend to be a good placement in synastry, cause even when they see their big picture or future quite different, they relate deep mentally, so it's not uncommon to see Ketu person being that friend who left town, but still keeping up with their old friend, cause they feel deeply understood by house person. Long-lasting conversations are the norm for these people, they tend to get along so well that even the smallest details can get into a endless talk, they may know so well what the other is thinking, but struggles to get what the other wants for the future (communication is the key, and they already have it), also can be hard for cultural exchange cause Ketu person may feel apathy for the house person tradition, religion and patriotism, even though I seem people with this synastry that get married, cause even when they don't get along in future plans, they feel more connected to Ketu person (Rahu in the 3rd house) than they feel attached to their traditions (strong Mercury or 3rd house people). Any way Ketu energy is actually really familiar with 9th house energy, so even with this apathy, these people can find a meaningful connection through detachment.
Their/ your Ketu in the 10th house: This is 50's ladies coming back home and letting their husbands work to provide them, I mean not always, but this is a really intimate and obsessive relationships, Ketu person doesn't care about house person place in the world, but their place in their heart and life (Rahu in the 4th house), house person may feel intended to be with Ketu person cause they see who they indeed are. Ketu person could want to start a family, and want house person to compromise early in the relationship, this could manifest like those inseparable partners; the huge level of codependency with this placement is scary, and even though these natives can have a kinda private and reclusive relationships, most people could not notice house person interest in Ketu person, or house person could actively seek to dismiss their feeling for Ketu person when they are in public. Ketu person may feel apathy for public reactions to their relationship, and totally disregard house person feeling, they couldn't care less about high aspirations house person may have, they could threathen house person into giving up their dreams and stay at home. House person may feel ashamed of ketu person, or just feeling vulnerable to what people can think about them.
Their/ your Ketu in the 11th house: This is quite similar to Ketu in 9th house, Ketu person doesn't fit house person ideals, but somehow, there's a spark between these two that intoxicated them (Rahu in the 5th house), house person could feel ketu person can't get what they're planning, but, at the same time, Ketu person scenically recognize their authentic self. Ketu person may find house person dream way too fanciful and unpractical, but, they just can help, but feel revitalize when they are around house person. Collective practices and efforts done by the house person, will be seen as annoying cause this would keep house person away from Ketu person. Ketu person is unsupportive and pessimistic with house person dreams and idealistic views, but at the same time this would bring some realistic perspective into the relationship and its projects. If house person lack 11th house energy, this couple can turn self-centered and loose contact with others realities, but if house person resonates way too much with 11th house energy this could make them feel divided between love (Rahu in the 5th house) and social obligation (Ketu in the 11th house); generally their personal desires end up winning, and this relationship is intense and passionate, but, hardly long-lasted.
Their/ your Ketu in the 12th house: I call this the magical feeling you loose to find the realness in daily life with other, as everything with Ketu, we always have to detached from something in other to get something else, that's how House person could feel that what they have to left is too much; with Ketu person there's no sparkly eyes, castles or white horses, there's just a comfortable company and a helpful disposition, they both find the other ordinary, but, that's exactly what drive them crazy about the other, the typical couple that didn't know what they found attractive about the other, House person just can scape Ketu person company, and actually they don't want to (Rahu in the 6th house). House person is going to find a sense of productiveness in there every day life when they are with Ketu person; any frustration, sadness or sorrow will be notice by Ketu person, meanwhile any victimization or delusional behavior will be shut down or dismissed by ketu person indiference. If there's an strong Neptune, 12th house or pisces, house person will be obligated to be realistic when they are with Ketu person, if otherwise ketu person could mean a deep cut with esoteric forces in the house person life, this could leave to really long lasting relationship, cause they will feel drawn to be together.
...
Disclaimer: This interpretation can change according to other synastry aspects, example: if you have sn in someone 3rd house, if can change if mercury is trine Jupiter, cause Jupiter is going to expand communication in a harmonious way (trine).
Note: Well that was it, I did enjoy to deep a little into these aspects, honestly something I just found out recently, but I didn't write last time, it's that Ketu doesn't just detached us from our partners, but also make themselves detached from something in order to be with us; ex: if someone has your Ketu in their 4th house, they will feel your detached in that area, but also as long as they keep you in their lives, they will detached themselves from that area. Ketu and Rahu are what we detached from, in order to get something else, balance is required in this process, cause, one can loose in Rahu excessiveness, or in Ketu apathy. Any way if you want me to deep a little more on Rahu leave a comment ✌️

I think two months ago I talked about feeling drawn to a certain color of nail polish because I felt that it had magical significance but also a check in and reflection of this new energy that I was stepping in and that I should embody more of.
Onychomancy is a form of divination, where the source of messages comes from the nails of a person. There's occultic meaning behind the shape of your nails, the health state of your nails, and metaphysical properties that signify intention of what you're attracting, based off the style of how you wear your nails.
I've read a lot of interpretations of what certain nail shapes, specific changes (both good and bad) in nails, and nail aesthetics. But I feel like more analytics behind the significance of nail polish colors is hard to find or there's just simply not much information that is out there.
I've found a new comfort and interest in investing in my nails and thought it would be cool to start a new series based off of my personal observations of wearing specific nail colors.
This post will be about my magical experience with wearing brown nail polish.
✦ The Symbolism ✦
Planet: I personally associate the planet Saturn with this Nail Color, but I've read that in Vedic Astrology, Brown in general is also a color of Ketu.
Season: Fall! Without a doubt I associate the color Brown with this season. This could also explain why I felt the urge paint my nails with this shade, but what I find interesting is that Libra season starts during Fall, and Libra exalts in Saturn.
Element: Earth/Air
Numerology: 7 (Ketu)
Chakra: Root
Animal: Snake. Before I get into the spiritual and magical effects of wearing brown for nail polish, I'd like to mention that I noticed major Kundalini energy from this, and Kundalini is normally represented by a snake which could also explain the ketuvian influence since Ketu is also represented by a snake.
✦ The Effect ✦
From what I initially gathered thanks to this article. Brown Nail Polish metaphysically symbolizes vigor, tenacity, stability, consistency, and perseverance.
Now based off of my personal experience from wearing brown nail polish for a month and pairing it with astrology, the magical effect behind brown nail polish initiates drive, powering through new transformations in your self concept, surroundings, relationships, opportunities, and priorities when you come across moments where you internally feel too stubborn or stuck to adapt to what's changing for you and what needs to be left behind. Fall is the part of the year where we naturally feel more sluggish and are in need of a push in taking care of both ourselves and our goals.
The Saturn in Libra vibe that I got from this, was how it promoted more balance for me. On one side of this, it's making commitments towards getting things in order, following through on when I needed to stand on business which at times could feel like I was detaching myself from the more pleasurable things in life like romance and knowing when it's time to rest. An increase in my initiative for hard work but also measuring my limits while learning more on how to improve my time management.
On the other side, was more about what I was attracting and was unconsciously giving. I attracted a lot of good opportunities with money and even compliments from people on almost anything the more that I took time in pouring back into myself. The effects from how this color made me achieve more balance, was receiving creative ideas for both small and long term goals for me to act on, but the patience to work on things thoroughly, slowly, and in a realistic lens.
I found myself embracing the small things in life like enjoying being outside to look at simple stuff like the sky, trees, or just feeling how good the air is, knowing that it is safe to spend money and that I have time to explore things in my city or to do things outside of school and work.
The aesthetic behind this nail polish for the people that noticed that I was wearing it, intrigued them because they never thought to wear such a color on their nails, I saw this as a representation of how the energy behind the nail polish introducing newer ways of seeing things related to beauty, moderation, healing, and timing.
Extras: If you like this shade of brown that I'm wearing, it's called "Dark Horse" and you can get it here from this brand called Moon Cat 🌙
I hope that this post was insightful for you guys, if you have any recommendations for how I can make this more in depth, interesting, clarifying, then your feedback is much appreciated.

PAIN UNSPOKEN
(DEPRESSION)
Right before your eyes we all see and deal with depression one way or another many are just better at hiding It. It gets overlooked and treated like everyone's symptom is the same. In many cases their not, there are so many different symptoms and signs of depression. Now their are some people who self afflict depression on theirselves by always wanting things their way or not being happy over what they were blessed with. The real cases are, clinical depression ( which can deal with appetite loss, energy loss, lack of sleep, self esteem, and suicide thoughts.) Persistent depressive disorder ( just like clinical but on a more milder side, also loss of sleep, appetite, energy levels, only different these symptoms are mild but can become long term in a persons life.) Bipolar disorder ( which deal with episodes of mood swings and lows and highs of manic highs, can make a person very indecisive in life and needs.) Also their is a bipolar disorder level 2 ( its the same as the original bipolar but it can make person have one particular depress state weeks at a time then jumping to another class depress state for a couple days, and make the person very irritable.) Postpartum depression ( called PPD, which a mom deals with after conceiving a newborn, she gets random mood swings, crying, anxiety, can last for weeks if not treated or recognized can become a long term illness.) The list doesn't stop, their are so many illness that we all deal with everyday, everybody brain haves something going, doesn't mean that you are crazy or you experience this symptoms like others. Everyone brain is unique in their own way, some just obtain knowledge faster or at a different capacity than other while many may need to break it down and compartmentalize different situations is sections to understand. We see people behaving at a maniac and abnormal way we are so quick to judge a person and classify them in such terms like they are a subject or a science experiment. When dealing with such people it takes patience, understanding, and knowledge to apply the care and healing. This all stems from are different genetic makeup, past-life, upbringing, natal alignments, aspects, and lifestyle you live. If you are familiar with astrology there are some placements that could justify these symptoms. The moon can cause depression, not the moon alone but its conjunction or if its debilitated. The moon deals with the mind, emotions and how you react to different situations everyday. also, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu, Mercury and Jupiter can also effect your mood. If the moon is your peace and solitude and Saturn is cold and heavy these two will cause your mental to be at a detached way of thinking and look at the world as cold and not inviting. You begin to make yourself feel unworthy and criticize your own thoughts, which would put u at a depress stage. When Ketu get involved it digs in your subconscious so if you have deep rooted issues and bad habits that never been corrected it can be brought forward by a conjunction, transit, or progressed planet alignment. The moon is so sensitive in our chart, its the place we run to for solitude and protection when the world seems to be cold and not comforting. So being said, if your moon is debilitated or in conjunction with a harsh planet can cause your brain and thoughts to stem from a dark and not rational place. Like the planets the natal houses play a major factor, since they represent the part of life actions take place. The 6th, 8th, and 12th are the Dusthana houses, which means difficulties and where life is faced with challenges, bring sorrows, suffering, and so on. By having one of these houses contributing towards a bad malefic can be detrimental. not saying everyone who has planets in these houses will have mental conditions or depression just stating it can be a cause to someones symptoms. We tend to let our emotions control our actions, and mind control our thoughts, when we should always follow our hearts.
Since the heart is the first organ made in us why not follow its rythum. Depression is a real symptom and some people cant or don't know how to accept it or deal with the symptoms that effects their brain and the way they make day to day decisions. We all have a complex brain and never really unlocked our full potentials, we cloud our brains more and more with technology and negative sensory thats helps contribute towards our unlaying illnesses. Everyone is out here crying for help in different ways we just tend to do it in our own subconscious ways. Alot of people shop , spend alot of money on items they dont need, eat alot of food, sleep excessively, and when it gets very serious some try to commit suicide thinking thats the way out. Statistics show that 7 out of 100 men and 1 out of every 100 women will go through with suicide thats crazy and messed up. This needs to change its too many people on this earth to let the next person walk by you and not try to understand these symptoms when they are shown in their body language, facial expressions, and conversations. At times their are people who are dealing with heavy cases of depression and you wouldn't even know. Thats why its important to ask a person " how you feel ? ", "how was your day ? ", " are you ok ? ", "you sure you are ok? ". These little actions can and could make a persons day better or even keep a person from trying or commiting suicide. Depression can even be a deep rooted family generational curse or bad karma that needs to be broken by you understanding its underlying habits. Medication only contains the symptoms but doesn't cure it, the more you take the meds the more you become dependent on it. These situations need to be addressed from a deeper biological way, even the foods we consume, energy we take in puts our mental health at risk to putting us in a global detriment to society. We our so caught up in our own lifes and problems that we don't acknowledge others issues, not that its your responsibility or obligation. I do feel we all have Dharma as a collective, so helping someone when their are down and uplifting them is a strong way to create a generational revolutionary change.

Why is it Best to Avoid Living in Apartments or Houses with a Number 4 or 7
The Frequency of the House Number you live in has a huge impact on your life, as it magnetises you with its energy, for better or for worse. Thus, the choice of a living location with an appropriate number becomes vital for one's quality of life.
House numbers 4 and 7 are respectively ruled by Rahu and Ketu. These are shadowy points in the ecliptic, that obstruct our clear thinking. At the same time, they are not physical planets, so they don't offer energetic tangibility. So living literally in any house number that is not a 4 or a 7 is going to improve your life. Why? Because it will activate an actual solid planetary energy as opposed to experiencing lack of clarity.
4s and 7s can make you feel perpetually dissatisfied or just not straight in thought. You might feel like you’re not really going anywhere substantial. Not saying that it’s impossible, but it takes a lot of hard work to accomplish things living in those house numbers. That effort is most likely going to happen outside of the house also. It may feel like you’re going nowhere, despite years of effort.
From my experience, the 4 makes you want to leave the house a lot. It pretty much makes you want to wander around and do all the outdoorsy activities, or maybe committing strongly to a goal that keeps you away from home...without really enjoying the benefit of the home itself. It can make you renounce the idea altogether, because of how obsessive and restless you can feel inside it. It works for extreme workaholics, whose lives are devoted to working in an office and socializing out of the house, at best.
The 7 has an opposite effect. It can make you hypersensitive to a past idea of what a home was to you. It can make you cling to that, but doesn't really bring safety or stability, making you chase ghosts of the past. It can also make you paranoid, compulsive, fearful, and locked away from the land of the living. On the plus side, it's good for cleaning up emotional baggage and developing your spirituality and connecting with higher energies. I did my best mantra practice in a number 7. If you want to be a hermit and don't care if you neglect your physical life, go for it.
The only exception to this rule is using these house numbers as a remedy for a difficult stellium, if it's conjunct Sun or Moon. Especially strong afflictions to the Moon by malefics, including Nodes, can be balanced out through living in a house number with the opposite Node.

Amrita Talon Abraxas
Amrita is the nectar of immortality which was churned out of celestial ocean of milk (Kshherasagaram) by the Gods and demons. The story of getting Amrita is described in ancient Hindu scriptures. The legend has great importance in both ‘Shaivite’ and ‘Vaishnavite’ system of beliefs.
Myths of Amrita
Hindu texts explain amrita as an elixir, consumed by the Gods which made them eternal. According to the legends, four drops of the nectar fell upon earth at Ujjain, Prayag, Haridwar and Nasik. Once, there was continuous war between Gods and demons. The Gods were afraid of losing the battle. Lord Vishnu suggested them to churn the ocean of milk to get Amrita. By drinking Amrita, Gods will be immortal. Devas and Asuras (gods and demons) united their efforts to churn the ocean of milk in quest of Amrita. Gods were holding the tail of Vasuki while the demons were holding the side of the head of the serpent. Mandara Mountain was used as a churning stick and mythological serpent Vasuki was used as the churning rope.
Lord Vishnu took the form of his incarnation, ‘Koorma’ (tortoise) to hold the Mandara Mountain in place so that it does not sink into the ocean. Many precious things came out by churning the sea. Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth emerged from the ocean and also the moon God Chandra. The divine elephant Airavata came out which was occupied by king of God, Indra. After that emerged the precious stone, ‘Kaustuva’, which Lord Vishnu had put on his chest. After all these, came the dreaded poison, ‘Kalkoota’, which was so toxic that all the creation was about to destroy. Gods and demons appealed to Lord Shiva to save them from the fumes that the poison yielded. Lord Shiva consumed the poison to save the world and retained it in his throat, which turned blue due to the effect of the poison. Henceforth, Shiva is known as the name of 'Neelakantha' or 'Vishaapaharana Murthy'.
Devasand Asuras continued with the churning of ocean after their obstacles were overcome in quest of their ultimate goal, Amrita. Finally, they got their reward when the divine physician Dhanvantariemerged out of the ocean with a pot bearing the celestial nectar of immortality or Amrita. A fierce tussle followed between the Gods and the demons regarding who will have the share of Amrita. Again Lord Vishnu took the responsibility of protecting the God. He took the guise of a beautiful charming lady named Mohini. Mohini persuaded the Asuras with her charm and served all the Amrita or ambrosia to the Gods. Thus, Lord Vishnu saved the world from the calamity that was about to take place if the Asuras had attained immortality by drinking Amrita.
Two of the Asuras were aware of the trick of Mohini. They took the guise of Gods and got a dose of Amrita. Vishnu came to know the fact and when the Asuras had consumed only half the dose of Amrita, he proceeded to destroy them. The Demons took the form of Rahu and Ketu respectively. Rahu had snake's head and human body while Ketu had human head and snake's body. Vishnu destroyed Rahu's body but his head was saved due to consuming Amrita up to the throat. It is believed that Rahu is the cause of solar and lunar eclipse as he engulfs Sun and Moon because they could see him through his guise. Another legend tells that serpent Vasuki consumed the Amrita against the wishes of sun and moon and his body was split into two demons, Rahu and Ketu and thus they became permanent enemy of sun and moon causing the eclipse.
