Buck who keeps falling into relationship without any thought and being in a hamster wheel. Buck who hasn't worked through his issues with his parents, and his abandonment issues. Buck who still gets too jealous when someone threatens his bonds with his friends and family. Buck who died and hasn't processed it. Buck who still thinks it's his fault people leave him. Buck whose problems got magical solved after being kissed by a man. Buck who is still in a hamster wheel, but apparently living his best life just because he got a relationship with a man who is condescending and leaves him on the curb.

If you think Eddie needs to work himself before entering a relationship then you should apply the same logic to Buck too

Lily and Mikila saying that Hunter is bad for being an "overdone trope" is so weird to me because like. Aren't ALL character archetypes over done??? In fact, this same logic can be applied to other characters within the show itself. Luz Noceda is an overdone trope; she's the bubbly "quirky" female protagonist who is also very kind and empathetic.

Her character archetype is actually more over done than Hunter's when you really think about it, especially in terms of Disney protagonists in the 2010s and early 2020s. Amity Blight is also an overdone trope; a bully character who goes through a redemption arc and becomes one of the main characters. Also has abusive parents as a way to explain their behavior and earn them sympathy from the audience. Amity's archetype, like Luz's, is arguably more overdone than Hunter's in a lot of media even outside of Disney.

Of course, this isn't exactly a bad thing; tropes are tools after all, and you can make generic ideas work with the right execution. Luz and Amity execute their respective archetypes well due to them having real depth and development over the course of the show, and, guess what? Hunter also executes his archetype pretty well too.

Story tropes are not inherently good or bad, they exist in every story and can be used effectively to create a compelling narrative, so docking points from a character for being a "over done trope" feels like a very bad faith critique, since, again, this same logic can be applied to other characters within the show.

Lily's only problem is that Hunter is an archetype she doesn't like and therefore her critique is heavily biased.

....Also he's an "angsty white boy" and Luz and Amity aren't. Sorry, I almost forgot.

Why is the pjo universe different to the Mcu? Why can't there be different stories to a universe. Why does Mcu get to get away with it and not the pjo universe? Why is there a double standard?

Cringe culture isn't just about fandom culture, or people that use terms like XD and rawr. It's about making fun of a group of people that isn't actively doing harm solely because you deem them "embarrassing". Don't say you dislike cringe culture if you stop at what YOU deem as cringe. Normalize doing whatever you want on the internet, as long as it's not hurting anybody there's no reason for you to be made fun of for it.

Ppl talking about who died or what impacted it or what the real change was are blowing me bc the REAL au has to be that it’s a world where the council would care about a dead kid from zaun. I was talking to my brother about this and for the changes to be so significant the real alternate universe had to be that the explosion blew up the entire block and everyone in it and maybe a councilor was visiting that day if we’re stretching - bc ur telling me they stopped the production of hextech over jayce? Over VI! Like yes they weren’t aware of its true potential or whatever but even a weapon of that magnitude means more than one dead kid especially a dead kid from the UNDERCITY!!
