going through the tag was so much fun before the movie dropped, now i get annoyed at every other post i see. the expectations some of you had for this movie? unfathomable to me. imagine they had included june and rafael and leo and all the plot points you cry about not making the final cut and think about the scenes they would have had to delete to make room for all of that. idk about y'all but i rather have them focus on the love story and make the most of that instead of taking bits and pieces from every other storyline without fleshing out any of them. would it have made a great tv show? YES. did we get a tv show? no, we got a movie and a damn good one at that. if you miss june or "cornbread knows my sins, henry" that's valid but how about you just read the book again? it isn't gone just because the movie came out. read the book, love the book and simply view the movie as additional content instead of a replacement of the source material, it's not that hard.

I've been falling in love with books again while being away from social media. And it's silly because before this summer I haven't really touched books, I always hated how slow reader I am and how hard it is to focus getting forward. Reading just calms my thoughts in a way no other hobby does. And I love good stories!!

If you guys have any books to recommend please throw them to me, my tbr list is never gonna be long enough. I have enjoyed reading fantasy, romance and scifi themes, but there is space for everything else too because I'm curious .u.

Honestly the insane lack of communication has made me lose most of my trust and respect for them. Like for what reason?? Why would they do this?? It baffles me to no end…. The only conclusion that makes sense to me is that they just. don’t care. and the cake situation was kind of the final straw for me? I do think people blew the original tweet way way WAY out of proportion but the way they responded to it by just. not even saying anything themselves and just going through a youtuber was. no taht made me feel so so icky. why would they do that? what’s the point? it just feels really callous to me. or well. pretty much the entire lack of communication feels pretty callous to me.

Look I will fully admit that I'm excited for Silksong. I'm so fucking excited. I'm not normal and I'll never be normal. I saw that Rickroll video about the release date and for a whole moment it felt like my heart fucking stopped. Ive been watching and waiting since 2019-2020, eager and hungry
