hc that lena used to be in a band back in her 20's, and the only existing proof of this is an extremely low-quality video someone took at one of their concerts that's just her with an acoustic guitar that's a bit too big for her to look comfortable with, playing a rendition of the diaz brothers by the mountain goats. but she's barely recognizable as lena kelley. two decades younger, energetic, surrounded by people she loves, significantly less scars and wrinkles and far less prominent eyebags. she looks relaxed and in her lane, and at the very end of the video, when the (extremely scarce yet enthusiastic) audience starts applauding, she giggles to herself and does a little bow.
