average day on gallifrey. i go to my Bathroom of Rassilon and brush my teeth with the Eternal Toothbrush of Rassilon. get into my hovercar of Rassilon to go to my work (complaining about the younguns). turns out that fucking lungbarrow brat (beta shrigma or whatever his name is) reversed the polarity of the neutron flow over here again. huge Traffic Jam of Rassilon. terrible Rassilondamn day guys

Mutual 1: I hate living the the academy dorms, the guys below me won’t shut up

Mutual 2: that beta shrigma kid set my fucking homework on fire

Mutual 3: if I was one of the tardises they use to teach the academy students to fly with I’d kill myself

Book 2 Preview Excerpt?? SPOILERS!

You ask, you receive. It's in caps right there but... SPOILERS AHEAD! This comes from Chapter 2 of Book 2 of The World as Colony: These Other Coasts.

Gulls. Those are gulls. I can hear the waves, hear the creaking of the wood of the ship. I knew this—I know this. The fight, on the docks, the smoke in the air, the sparks of steel against steel, him—no. A ship, right, the ship, focus on the ship, I’m on a ship, how long? Days, weeks—couldn’t be more. The ship, the waves— my eyes, open my eyes—

Opening his eyes felt like he was prying open a door. They were crusty with salt and pus, but this hadn’t been the first time he tried to wake up. He felt sleep coming back to him but, unlike before, he fought against it. His vision was flooded with blinding blue skies and the mast of a ship, rising straight up towards the sun. He felt himself swaying with the waves, and realized he was in a hammock atop the deck. 

“I had a feeling the sun would wake you,” he heard a woman say. “It’s noon, princess.”

Wickham tried to speak, but his voice failed him, and he coughed up old saliva and salty brown blood. 

These Other Coasts is done, it's just in editing. I'm aiming for a September release!

Help I took too much ibuprofen, saw a picture of a Thin Mint cookie, and am now wondering if Gallifrey has an equivalent of Girl Scout where a bunch of Time Tots go around trying to sell cookies or whatever to grown up Time Lords who are equally excited for cookie season.

Just thinking about Borusa rolling up to Beta Shrigma and Costco's cookie stand and ordering 20 boxes of the Shortbread of Rassilon.
