we need ao3 for fanart and I am so completely serious. A universal platform not driven by any kind of professionalism or end goal, just for creating. Most important of all it needs to share the incredibly helpful and complex filing system ao3 does. this would be beneficial I think. because I want it.

Hello Kind Soul 💕
I am trying to evacuate my family from Gaza to safe area to save our lives ASAP 🙏
I Ask if you could support us by share my blog and boost my campaign?
https://www.gofundme.com/f/Stand-With-AlBalawi-Family
If you are generous enough, you can donate any small contribution, it really helps ❤
Of course!
Anyone who can donate, please consider doing so! It looks like they're currently at just under halfway to their goal.
If you're unable to donate, please consider reblogging this so that it might reach someone who can! (And hey, maybe consider reblogging it even if you did!)
Wishing you the best; I don't generally pray, but I will keep you in mine moving forward.
Here's a photo of my cat to hopefully get this more traction (and so I can put this in more tags)

controversial take i think but i don’t like when artists say “don’t like without reblogging” on their posts or say they’ll block people who like their art without reblogging. i say this as an artist, if you feel upset often enough by people who like without reblogging then that’s not on them that’s on you. and i say this is gently as possible. you are not owed engagement.

it's been said before, but gentle reminder that artists can see what you write in the tags. so if you, say, reblog fanart of a Thing. and then proceed to complain about the quality of Thing in the tags. the artist (who presumably likes Thing enough to draw it) can see that and likely doesn't feel that great about it

Maybe my writing is totally shit. Maybe it's boring and repetitive. Maybe nobody cares.
But do I care about these characters? Do I care enough to write about them? To tell their story?
Yes. I do.
So I'll continue to write.
Because if I don't tell their story, then who will?

i'm supposed to be doing something but instead i'm thinking abt how rusty and malcolm are inextricably linked. like. both of them had their fucked up robot dads (who they thought were dead) die on the same night at the same time cos it was the same thing, it was the same incident. rusty and malcolm are the same guy but they're never going to be the same guy. they're brothers but they're not brothers. they're sons but they're NOT sons. not anymore. they both live in their father's shadows in some way, they both take up the mantle, they both kind of suck at it. idk. idk. idk.
