chewing on big 3 kids being capable of absolutely devastating natural disasters and apocalypse-level outbursts of power.
Percy who creates hurricanes complete with lightning that pummel titans and flooding and whirlpools that can trap god-powered crocodile kaijus. Earthquakes that erupt volcanoes. Hazel who sunk an entire small island entirely on her own with her final breath, against giants and a primordial goddess of the earth.
If Nico dramatically wilts plants and cracks the ground when he's mildly stressed, and disintegrates enemies down to their skeletons with a single touch or rips their souls out of their still-living bodies, and can command armies of the undead, what happens if he tries to cause destruction? Even outside of total zombie apocalypse or insta-killing a crowd, he's shown enough geokinesis to absolutely be capable of the same destruction Percy and Hazel can manifest.
What about Jason? He can control the winds and storms. There's no way he can't create the most destructive tornadoes with casual effort that he can never justify using for the collateral damage they'd cause. With a single thought he can rip up a town and launch the remnants 50 miles out. (Jason in the center of a Dead Man Walking tornado, vortexes responding to his movements like an avatar...)
And what can anyone do to combat it? How can you fight the wind lifting everything you know and love into the sky, or floods sweeping you away, or the ground giving way beneath you? The Big 3 kids are scary because they are forces of nature, and their whims are the only thing preventing you from witnessing that at any given moment.

if I had a nickel for every time a character in a Superman-focused show got their body taken over by Brainiac, I would have three nickels. That’s not a lot but it’s weird that it’s happened 3 times. Get out of there, Brainiac. Stop that.

slowly realizing years late that The Crystal Kingdom was about our three surly boys meeting a series of undead spirits, who would sometimes literally show them visions and consistently try to get them to change their ways, whether that meant remembering their true pasts, uprooting the present order of life and death, or simply not dying quite so often in the future... and that it was all fucking set on Candlenights. they literally met the Ghosts of Candlenights Past, Candlenights Present, and Candlenights Yet to Come. like did Griffin do that even remotely on purpose because if so, I'm absolutely fuming

I’ve been thinking about the deadpool and wolverine movie for a minuet and I kinda wished legion was the villain instead of Cassandra.
Listen I liked Cassandra in the movie but I’ve never been a fan of her in the comics. Legion however, is my love. And yes I’m bias
Legion is super fucking powerful, has connections to Charles like Cassandra, and is pretty insane like her. They could even bring back the fox legion show actor. I loved him as legion and I love that show.
This is just bias cause I love legion but also I kinda wanna see him in the movies… a good call back to a X-men show no one really talks about anymore. I feel like he’d be as good as a fit as the revamped Cassandra they put in the movie

so there's a theory going around that posits the reason the Brotherhood of Steel is so cruel/engages in extreme brutality in the Fallout show is that it's made up of ex-legionaries (or that it's run by/has combined with Caesar's Legion.)
which sounds like a stretch, maybe, until you remember the Brotherhood characters we meet in the show have been named Maximus, Titus, and Quintus. and that the Brotherhood flags have been depicted in red and gold.
Rewatching the scene between Quintus and Maximus in episode 8, it really struck me how Quintus speaking about power being taken not given is very in line with the "survival of the fittest" mentality of the Legion. I love this theory, it would be very interesting to get a reveal in season 2 that Quintus specifically is ex-Legion.

The new Superman show is all well and good but I don’t want to see any of you watching it acting like it’s the first time Superman has ever been nice/kind/sweet/interesting/a person outside the suit. As if the DCAU Superman hasn’t been here for years and years, and the Legion of Superheroes cartoon Superman hasn’t been here for years and years and various comics Supermans haven’t been written to be the most compassionate people ever, and some live action Supermans being down to earth and kind. It’s cool if this show makes you enjoy Superman in a way you didn’t before! I def want more media to focus on him as the good person he is, not the muscle suit popularized in some circles. But know it is not the first media, and especially not the first cartoon, to show him this way. Also don’t woobify him I’m begging on my knees to treat him like the grown ass man he is orz
