pt update!! i’ve been using a .5 kg weight and it seems a good size, i get around 7 in a 10 set and it starts to get difficult so i’ll stick with it at least until i can do the full 10 without pushing. i started with single bicep curls, side raises and overheads and overheads are the absolute worst lmao. now i’ve added double bicep curls and front raises!
i thought i wasn’t really getting much better bc the weight is so light (even though i know it takes time and i’ve only been doing it for like two weeks) but then i did the front raises for the first time, got to 3 and was like this fucking sucks lmaoo
#theres still a part of my brain that thinks its basically not worth it if im doing such a light weight#but im doing 50 weighted arm movements! thats still doing a lot!#and remembering im going from entirely deconditioned and exercise intolerant thats pretty huge#and ive literally noticed improvement! i used to start to struggle around 3 when i did the side raises and overheads and now i can get to 7#before it starts to suck#i need to add my bed exercises for my legs then ill have a pretty decent workout going#the only thing is my shoulders pop and click both when i go up and down and i have no idea if theyre bad noises or just my body noises#bc all of my joints constantly pop when i move#so it could just be that but i wouldnt really know if it was something bad#i havent had any pain but thats not really a good indicator either since joint pain is normal too#coming out of my cage and ive been doing just fine.txt

Taking 3 days off from the gym, barely moving for those 3 days, and eating pizza and popcorn tomorrow and going to bed hungry was not the right plan before going to the gym this morning.
Every exercise was a struggle. I was extra irritated with Mr. Sex Noises today. Honestly why. We're all impressed you show up everyday and lift heavy, but are the noises necessary? Considering how X rated they sound, they can't possibly be necessary.
Anyway, I'm eating better today. Hydrating and walking around. I have a lot to do at work because the boss doesn't do anything. I had yesterday off. A truck dropped, price tag labels had to go out (that I printed for them ahead of time). Miscellaneous things. And they did zero of them. It's always frustrating when your coworkers don't help out, but when they're your boss it's extra annoying. I'm a lead by example type and apparently there's too many "no I'm the boss and tell you to do the work" types in life.
Anyway, I think it's time I ate something cause I think I'm hangry.

#OWWWW MY ARMSSSSS#workout update but I genuinely do not have anywhere to continue progressing the pullups#so I’m replacing that with some arm weight training#realizing that my fucked up shoulder that juts out a bit is actually making workouts harder tho 😭#I need to do some stuff to fix that I think? there’s physical therapy exercises for it but yeah#my left shoulder is all weird and the blade sticks out enough#that if u touched my back and compared the two blades it would be Noticeable definitely#ANYWAYYY#hopr lore time <- I say grumbling (affectionately)#I have more on their fucking GESTALT than I do on them it feels like#there’s so many ways I want to take these little assholes but!!!
