Hello everyone! I had a new idea for a februari challenge 🌟
Within fandom, there’s a big focus on romantic and sexual relationships, in my opinion sometimes to the detriment of other types of relations. Friendships, familiar bonds, queer platonic characters and aspec characters more often than not get the short end of the stick in these kind of spaces. I fear this notion reinforces amatonormativity and makes fandom spaces less comfortable for aspec folks.
In fanfiction spaces, gen fics are a good way to filter out romantic content! I love ao3’s tagging and filtering system in particular, as you can look up fanfics that explore non romantic relationships easily. I appreciate the ampersand and slash differentiation.
I would like to take the idea of gen fics further, and develop the presence of non romantic or sexual relationships in fandom spaces more. For example, I want to coin the term “gen art”! This would be fanart, that much like gen fics, explores characters and character bonds that aren’t focused on romance. I think it would also be great to develop a tagging system for platonic bonds. Creating this type of language within fandom is the first step to changing the relationship hierarchy we so often see there.
For this challenge, the idea is that for every day you create a gen fan work inspired by the prompt of that day. This can be art as the name suggests, but any type of media is welcome! Fanfics, art, edits, poems, moodboards, photography, the sky’s the limit. Don’t worry about skipping any days or changing up the prompts! This is all in good fun ✨💕
You are very welcome to join in! Please tag your posts with #genartfebruari so I can find them and reblog them 💖 I will be reblogging all entries! I'm of course joining myself too 😊
Even if you don’t plan to join, I would very much appreciate reblogs as it would help spread the word 🙏
It would be really nice if we could make this into a solid thing together. We could have fun creating together, but also try our hand at changing fandom spaces to be more safe and comfortable for everyone ✨
The prompt list (text version):
1. Hug
2. Goodbye
3. Pets
4. Garden
5. D&D Party
6. Birthday
7. Plushies
8. Pride
9. Cosplay
10. Comfort
11. Stars
12. Childhood friends
13. Dancing
14. Love
15. Reading
16. Snuggle
17. Karaoke
18. Picknick
19. Texting
20. Rain
21. Road trip
22. Silly
23. Found family

I think many of you would enjoy Lost Terminal. It's future sci-fi, and hopepunk, and just, deeply kind.
There's an AI living in a satellite and he's very lonely. His name is Seth, he's inarguably a sweetie, and the Earth below him looks very very different to when he was first created. The climate has changed, the lights of cities have gone out, and there's a whole new ocean.
The only people who talk to him now are two other AI on the Earth: St. Petersburg, who was designed to predict the future and is now perpetually stressed because of it, and Antarctica, who was sent to the South pole in a massive research vehicle awaiting her crew, who never came.
Atypical to AI backstories, Seth's mother cared for him dearly, letting him choose his own voice, reading him stories, teaching him everything she could, and making sure he knew he was a real person. He similarly had good relations with the rest of his crew, who were never offered a way home to Earth.
The show delights in talking about all kinds of interesting things, like radio, seed vaults, radiation, orbital mechanics, sleep cycles, lunar photography, and of course, tabletop games.
One thing I value about it greatly is this sense, both in the story and from a meta perspective, of doing the best with what you have to help other people. In the show this often takes the form of community, sharing information and resources, being there to help where you can, and a theme of learning, both in terms of knowledge and just how to be. It doesn't pretend humans are perfect, but it also really believes that people will more often than not, help where they can.
Externally, this comes from some of the topics and representation in the show, which has plenty of queer characters, and an interest in mental health. A few of these feel as though they're not something the creator has much direct experience with, but that he's made an effort to research, understand, and give a simple but meaningful (and always kind) portrayal of. Asexuality, dissociative identity disorder, being trans, to name a few, and none of these characters are insignificant. I personally find it a comforting reminder that we always have allies out there, people who might know a lot or almost nothing, but who are still willing to listen and support. And that it's good to be someone who doesn't know, but is willing to learn.
There's transcripts for free on the Patreon, which come out with each episode, there's gorgeous original music, they've got simple but clean and effective soundwork (good for lab listening), Seth has a nice voice, there's no ads, and a new episode a week with surprisingly short breaks between seasons.
There's currently 12 seasons of 10 episodes each, and each episode is about 10-20 minutes. They aren't too heavy, and it's an easy podcast to pick up where you left off without feeling lost, if that number intimidates you.
I've adored this show since it was only a season long, and still do. It's worth the listen.
#lost terminal#Whenever I catch up with this show I am struck with fondness for both it and for Seth#So it's about time I entice more of you into it.#audio drama

(WIP)Diabolik Lovers: College AU
It’s been a while since I’ve posted any headcanon type stuff on this blog! But I wanted to post about a college au, it’s the one I typically write in and how I perceive the characters. Since the diaboys are really old, and the stuff that happens in the series is kinda (ehh), I aged them up a few years and added a night college.
There’s only a few big differences;
Students range from 18+, the uniform is slightly different, the school has dorms available, and no Yui ): she’s a human minor (set the girl free) but there are two MC’s (male and female) to play as.
Ryoutei University
A night school for the rich, working, and inhuman. The school is partnered with the Demon World’s top university. Though the existence of demons attending the school is not publicly know, the faction of the church that supervises the school knows. The school was made a sort of co-Ed (in terms of species) after a war took place in the human world, and they wanted to come to an agreement.
The school has one main building with additional buildings around the campus that hold events for sports, music, and other social gatherings.
There are dorms on the campus divided between male and female students. The female students are on the east side of the campus, and the male students are on the west. They are not allowed to cross between dorms. There’s a student led security team that surveys the dorms every day.
The schools budget is seemingly endless, they have just about everything in this school: pools, tracks, courts, a church, and other recreational activities for the full time students to enjoy.
━━━━༺❀༻━━━━
Basic Timetable of the schools schedule:
Classes begin: 8pm
Classes end: 3am
After school activities offered from 3:30am to 7am.
Classes are an hour and a half long. Depending on the student, they may have lunch starting from 11pm to 1am.
Cafeteria serves food until 2am
A typical meal consists of: rice, meat, miso soup, and a chosen desert.
━━━━༺❀༻━━━━
Diaboys Grades!
This is based off of a four year graduation system.
Sakamaki Family:
Subaru: freshman
Triplets: sophomore
Reiji: Junior (completing graduate classes)
Shu: Junior (he doesn’t have enough credits to be one, though…)
Mukami Family
Azusa: Sophomore
Yuma: Sophomore
Kou: Freshman (he was held back a year due to his work….)
Ruki: Junior (he hasn’t been at this school as long as Reiji, so he has about ten less credits than Reiji.)
Tsukinami Family
Shin: Sophomore
Carla: Senior (he couldn’t lie about the copious amounts of school credits he had collected)
MC: Freshman! MC came to this school recently and (if they had any) didn’t have their school record transferred to this school, so they have to start over regardless.
Because this is college, depending on the MC’s skill level in different courses they have a chance to take classes with all of the boys!
━━━━༺❀༻━━━━
School Events
There are school events that the students can join! Monthly events sponsored by the school to places like the “Princess land amusement park” at night.
Sports festivals happen often as the students are encouraged to exercise and maintain school spirit.
Art exhibits hosted by the art department happen often, usually when the students are having their exams to showcase their work this semester.
There’s a swim, basketball, football, and tennis team along with various indoor club activities. In short, almost everyone can join a club activity they’d want to. (Laito tried out the photography club, but was promptly banned after he took naughty photos…)
━━━━༺❀༻━━━━
Tuition??
The school is EXPENSIVE!! All of the students tuition is double the price of a community university (not counting dorms)! Karlheinz is emptying his wallet for his kids…

Sooo I finished Queen Charlotte and let me tell you it was a rollercoaster ride. I liked it and then I didn't like it then I sort of reached the middle ground of ' I didn't hate it but It's one of those series I'd only see once, because I didn't end up feeling that entertained while I watched it '
So here's my very honest review of Queen Charlotte a Bridgerton story
Starting from episode 1 I absolutely hated it, in fact if I had decided to form an opinion by just watching episode 1, I wouldn't have continued seeing the rest of the series what? I said I was going to be honest, but I continued watching because that is what you do when you're watching something that you said that you were going to watch since like 5 months ago so here it goes the good the bad the funny.
The good: of course in a photography and artistry and wardrobe oh my gosh these sets have the most amazing wardrobe they deserve an Emmy for that. the reason that I didn't like episode 1 that much is that Charlotte came off as everything you expect a very young spoiled princess to be. But then I got two episode two and I realized okay maybe they are trying to show the progression that goes from beginning at point a as this sort of person and ended up at point B as this very different sort of person which is where the good comes in.
because I think the series really achieved that in walking the viewer through the maturity of Queen Charlotte. And how does a person go from the headstrong outspoken out of touch teenager to the Queen Charlotte that we have all come to love and respect in the series. And I feel like the spin off really conveyed that.
So it came off less of a romance and more of a coming of age story because Queen Charlotte grew on me and I mean young Queen Charlotte you guys know that I love old Queen Charlotte. Lady Danbury also grew on me admittedly her scenes were kind of uncomfortable to watch because really you feel sad for her stuck in a loveless marriage with a man like that ultimately finding her own voice and deciding to stay unmarried but on her own terms.
I only started enjoying the show when I saw it through the lens of a coming of age story instead of through the lens of a Romance story which is kind of what I went there expecting. Queen Charlotte and King George have their own version of The Notebook and it is kind of sad and you know that I don't vibe what's sad movies. But I do vibe with this show telling the realities of what it is to experience a major life event at 18 and find out that this means that you have to grow up a lot in a short space of time. From this on you can actually see the woman that Queen Charlotte progresses to be until she is old, because the foundation is absolutely there and the show walks you through that for me that was amazing storytelling #teamQueenCharlotte #TeamKingGeorge. How she goes from being this young woman that can't imagine getting married to someone she doesn't know to being this mature adult that is considering doing the same thing to her children and what's the motivation behind that.
The medium: oh you know the drill there was a bunch of drama I didn't care about, there was a bunch of secondary characters that only existed for exposition, the pacing was kind of slow. Not exactly good but not bad either just average but for a spinoff that had 6 episodes I'm not surprised
The bad: I think that annoyed me the most is that the spinoff had a lot of saying not showing and I do not like that.
As viewer I am not a child, I do not need to be told that King George is happy with Queen Charlotte time and time again, I can see it in his face and if I as a viewer I cannot tell that King George is happy with Queen Charlotte then it is not the responsibility of the side characters to say it to me.
There Are a lot of instances in this show where you could tell that the dialogue was put in place to let the viwer know stuff that they could very well have guessed from watching the characters interact. You Know which parts I'm talking about, we could start a drinking game, take a shot everytime one of the characters tells you something you are supposed to have already found out by just watching the show.
Don't tell me lady Danbury sponsors a school for girls, because her husband hated educated women, we can already tell by looking at his interactions with women in the show, the dialogue explaining that is out of place it makes me think that the showrunners believe the viewer is dumb. Show me Lady Danbury praising little girls who are studying after paying their tuition at the church and then cut to Lord Danbury shutting her up anytime she tried to say something. That would have been a better way to show not tell. So yes those were my issues with the spinoff
Now let's get to the funny: lets start with my favorite part of any Bridgerton story and that's Lady Whistledown. I just found it hilarious that every single time that Lady Whistledown is taking pot shots at the Royal family little Penelope Featherington is writing somewhere with her favorite pen, the way TMZ writes about celebrities. Everyone thinks later Whistledown is this sort of huge force of nature when it's really your local fanfic writer making observations about celebrities in her diary. This is why we support fanfiction writing guys
The part where Violet found out that lady Danbury advanced the dance with her dad, that was also objectively hilarious because I think that in terms of the book, if Violet Bridgerton ever found out something like that about Lady Danbury, she would have totally high fived the old lady like a homie. This is the type of mother that will go to the dirtiest jail in the county and bail out a girl just because her son likes her. I realize show Violet ain't there yet, but if this Revelation had come after Benedict's season you would have seen a Violet that had no Fs left to give and that is objectively hilarious to me. I'm like Violet, baby why are you acting so innocent. Your eldest daughter jilted a prince to hook up with a Duke that had to be marched to the altar at gunpoint, and your eldest son fell in love with the older sister of his fiance and left that fiance in the altar to marry the sister. While the queen was watching. You should have a lower tolerance for finding out about your family's indecencies. All your kids are horny idiots and they sure didn't get that from Edmund. Stop acting like you don't know what happens when people are horny.
Objectively all the servants in Queen Charlotte special mention because these people have seen some Royal shenanigans and I respect them for that. I mean I find their job must be funny as hell but they have my respect
I'm sure that I will think of more funny things that I found in the spinoff but for now those were my takes tell me if you agree if you disagree but overall I did my duty and I watched it. It wasn't for me but I think it could have been for me if I had been a little bit more invested in Queen Charlotte's romance with King George but I wasn't invested in their love story because I knew it was going to end in tragedy it's sort of like how I wasn't that invested in the Notebook because I already knew that they we're not meant for a happily ever after kind of thing and that it had a sad ending and I like things with happy endings you know and you guys can't fault me for that.
I am the type of person that actively stays away from anything marketed as romance with a sad ending and I knew what I was getting into with Queen Charlotte so it should surprise none of us that I found that it was good as a coming of age story but as a romance it wasn't for me.
And that's the tea

Random thought that's probably unoriginal but hay it's 4 AM and I've been thinking about this for awhile. Ever find it funny the comparison between Oswald's and Mickey's relationship with Walt Disney's and Ub Iwerks'? It's a funny parallel that doesn't get talked about much largely because people seem to forget Ub Iwerks (ironic). WARNING: RANT!
Wanna note this rant is by a person who hasn't properly played Epic Mickey 1, 2, and 2.5 (power of illusion) so sorry if I get some stuff wrong yet I know the premise and key story points. Anyways:
For those who don't know Ub Iwerks was longtime friend of Walt Disney and basically the man who would lead the Walt Disney Studios into being what it is today Ub's technical influence on the animations shouldn't be dismissed at all. The man is responsible for some of the most iconic stuff in Disney history like the colors of Dumbo's "Pink Elephants" musical number, a photography technique for the rain in Bambi, creation of a specialized Xerox machine allowing for drawings to go directly onto cels for 101 dalmatians, and he himself earned an Oscar for his efforts in bringing the mix of 2D and live action together in Mary Poppins. He even directed and worked on while going went uncredited for his creation of the wartime shorts that saved Disney Studios during WW2. From there Ub went back to working on SFX after the war and was responsible for a lot of technical magicry behind Disneyland. Oh he also was responsible for some technical stuff behind Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" where he won another Oscar. So ya know the man had clear innovative talent. Despite this work Ub was a humble man and the only real reason why we know of most of his influence and his history with Walt is because of his grand daughter's own creation of a documentary involving him. Arguably Ub is the real creator of Mickey Mouse although that debate isn't what I wanna talk about and I'm neutral on the subject regarding it. What I wanna talk about is how Ub was always there from the very beginning, he and Walt were together way before Disney was the thing it is today and to get it there they bankrupted 3 different companies before finally making it big. Despite this Ub is mostly forgotten, his input on the legacy of Disney Studios being treated as nothing more than a footnote despite his feats. Ub stayed in the background being the hard working man and animator while Walt was a director and charismatic face. Ub did win two Oscars yet now and days he's severely undercutted and even forgotten despite making most of the original cartoons (dude made Plane Crazy aka Mickey's first cartoon in garage on a nothing budget FFS) and being one of the major catalyst for animation as we know it today.
One person gets all the credit and is the face of a company while the other who helped create it is usually left forgotten and only really known by a certain group of people who are more invested in history. Sound familiar? Of course Oswald isn't as important to Disney as Ub was (sorry Ozzie) yet I still find the parallel really cool and thematically fitting. In Epic Mickey there is a statue that parodies the famous one of Mickey and Walt holding hands, yet Oswald made it about himself instead with him replacing Mickey. This no doubt shows bitterness and resentment and the plot of Epic Mickey features the two eventually making up after it all. Not after ya know after Oswald gets mad and releases the blot and all that after rightfully getting pissed knowing his world was put in danger and his wife was basically killed by Mickey. Everything works out in the end thankfully and in the second game the two are on much better terms of course, in the first game Oswald also does make an attempt to be nice to Mickey because it's what Ortensia would of wanted.
Despite them reconnecting and acting as brothers I still feel like Oswald would hold some sorta grudge. If not for the fame stealing thing at least for the whole "you ruined my world and turned my wife to stone" thing. Oswald is petty enough to make faces at Mickey behind his back, no way is the rabbit THAT mature to forgive Mickey 100% for everything. Still, I feel like the only real way Oswald could ever get over the fact that Mickey took his spot as the mascot and face of Disney is by learning about Ub and his input. This is a neat little head canon I have that Oswald would embrace Ub as his creator instead of Walt. There would be something so fitting if Oswald learned he had two dads and his creation was a joint effort and actively learning about Ub and his contributions to Disney. I feel like instead of yearning for the attention his brother has he'd take a page out of Ub's book, he'd sit in the background and let the fame and popularity go to another despite the fact that there would be no popularity without him.
I made this rant because I was too lazy to draw this but: the idea of Oswald making a statue featuring him holding Ub Iwerks' hand as opposed to Walt's is such a cool and cute idea to me. It would not only show Oswald's acceptance of not being in the spotlight yet it would also honor the legacy of another who was "forgotten".
Anyways rant over, I'm excited for Epic Mickey rebrushed and can't wait to experience it and I probably need to sleep for classes i got later.
#rant#walt disney#ub iwerks#oswald the lucky rabbit#mickey mouse#epic mickey#headcanon#this was started at 4 AM#i'm gonna sleep now

Rainny Aesthetic Photography!
13/04/2024
Hey there! Happy Sinhala and Tamil New Year!!🙏❤️
These days I haven’t been updating the blog much because I’m on holiday🥳 But of course during this holiday period I have to keep in touch with my blog so I’m doing that now.
From the title of this blog you can already tell what I’ll be posting. It may not seem too important, but since we learned about lighting in film, I thought it would be relevant to post these pictures I took when it was raining in the night day before yesterday!
For context, day before yesterday I went out for a drive with my fam. It was raining cats and dogs. On top of that, there was thunder and lightning. While I was sitting next to the car door, I noticed how beautiful the rain drops looked on the shutter. So I decided to take some pictures!

I also took a picture of Tea Avenue while we were passing by. The blur in the photo makes the shot look aesthetic.

Once we reached home and I had open and close the gate before going home, I noticed how the red lights from our vehicle bathed the tree branches close by. I had to take a picture.

I have to admit that I did a few edits to some of the original pictures to make them look more eye catching in terms of brightness, tint, noise reduction, saturation, etc.
It's safe to say that I have a liking towards cinematography and lighting. I still have a lot to learn about these two topics, but I believe these pictures are a good start.
That's all for this post! I hope to post the three short videos I made with Thameena, Shiza and Ayodya on an upcoming post.
Thank you for reading! Have an amazing day! <3

Art History: Doing Art History
The course is taking on board both certificate students and BA, with a focus more towards adult students. A preference is made towards handing in anything that’s not paper written, must be electronic.
SHORT VISUAL ANALYSIS:
Choose an artwork (painting, statue, photograph, sculpture etc), spend time looking at it. One you can preferably visit in person. Compose 500 words, highlighting the significant details that help you understand the work better. The artists intentions. Talk about Texture, Shape, Colour, Narrative, Emotions. How does the composition invite you in? How does it do it?
I have chosen this artwork…It evokes…
FOCUS ON JUST LOOKING – Please refer to my written piece on The Execution of Lady Jane Grey if necessary. Although this is also a historical analysis there is a part of it that just focuses on breaking down the painting and what it visually represents, and how it achieves that.
What is ‘art’?
Sir Ernst Gombrich: ‘There is no such thing as Art. There are only artists.’ The Story of Art (1950)
The most elusive of terms, its validity is only vouchsafed in cultures which admit to such a concept. Broadly speaking, the term ‘art’ in the visual sense can be applied to any work/subject which engenders, by intent or otherwise, aesthetic and/or intellectual appreciation. In a teasing subversion of the title of his magisterial survey The Story of Art (1950) the great art historian Sir Ernst Gombrich declared, ‘There really is no such thing as Art. There are only artists.’ Clarke, Michael. "art." The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms. : Oxford University Press, . Oxford Reference online. [Accessed 01.10.2022]
The term ‘art’ in the visual sense can be applied to all manner of creative forms/subjects: Photography, painting, sculpture, performance piece, architecture etc. Looking at Art as opposed to studying it, when we look at artwork, where it is placed will have great significance on our interpretation of it and understanding. For instance, if you see a poster by a bus stop and an oil painting in a gallery, you will have varied responses to it. Will take longer to consider one, of course their intentions vary wildly, but that does not change the fact that the poster is still a creative piece of media. An artwork.
“Art originally meant skill, possessing the ability to do something. But if you know precisely how to do it, it can soon become boring. Actually, I would define art as something you don’t know how to do - not yet, that is. You’re learning. Art is always alive, always moving. It never stands still.” Vilhelm Lundstrøm, quoted in Wilmann, Preben, and Marianne Brøns. Lundstrøm. Copenhagen: Gyldendal, 1977, p.428
Take also for instance the place in which you were raised and the views you have, that will create unconscious preferences and biases towards certain art. Not only that but it impacts our understanding and presentation of an artwork/reading. Especially from a curator who may be of Western descent about an artwork from the East. Studying as opposed to being raised in the culture will have an immense impact.
youtube
Also consider the perception of the artwork and how it has changed historically. An artist’s body of work, artworks that have gone missing and the ideas surrounding forgery or duplication/mass copying (less valuable to collectors).
Old ways of studying art and what it meant in the wider context of national development:
People created casts of original classical works, to shape a nations museum or art school and to develop their country creatively. Mainly European and American museums focused on this practice, an example of this can be found in the Royal Academy in London.
The Westmacott Athlete, marble, 1st century AD (after a Greek bronze original of about 430 BC) British museum
Brian McMorrow, Royal Cast Collection, Copenhagen, 2013
Note: How did the understanding of artists get created?
Everything you write joins an evolving discourse about art, nothing in the art world is ever final or determined. Do not be afraid to explore ideas, and the changing perceptions as we view them through our own lens and perspectives. Explore how these ideas are shared.
Public and Private collections: accessibility also shapes value and meaning.
Mass reproductions (example: on mugs, clothes, bookmarks etc) changes an artwork. An artwork should excite many emotional responses, otherwise it has failed.
Certain museums are either exploring this aspect by making more of their collections private or public, see British Museum and its vast collection and how that causes problems/opportunities.
Brief History of Art History: Male scholars first were taught the subject, which then bled into universities. Which then opened to undergraduates. Shown in dual projections on a screen/board to compare and contrast, as a large aspect of art history is comparing.
Karl Friedrich Schinkel, Perspective view of the main staircase gallery (Plate 43 of 'Altes Museum' from Sammlung Architektonischer Entwürfe) (1822-30, National Galleries of Scotland)
The Warburg Institute, part of the University of London from 1944.

How I Think Elizabeth Afton would interpret The Gen 4 Mane Six
…If she was only exposed to the toys and a couple of other fun facts, of course.
I know I might be a little off in terms of Elizabeth’s imagination, but I’m rolling with these anyway.
Anyway, let’s get started.
—
The Basic Premise: Twilight Sparkle is sent to Ponyville by Princess Queen Celestia to oversee a local Eclipse Viewing. Unfortunately, what was once a temporary stay becomes a bit more permanent— Nightmare Moon returns, and Twilight is duty-bound to take her down…
Twilight Sparkle - A unicorn who’s in Queen Celestia’s Royal Court. She is a wizard who specializes in light-centered abilities, such as spawning fireworks from her horn or becoming a walking glow stick. She attempts to tolerate her less studious companions, but they do get on her nerves sometimes.
Rainbow Dash - A pegasus who always wears roller skates, especially when she has packages to deliver. She’s very confident in her skills and has a great sense of direction— Which sometimes backfires when she goes too fast. At least her ever-shifting rainbow hair makes her easy to spot.
Pinkie Pie - A regular pony who uses balloons to reach very tall apartments. As she also delivers stuff, Rainbow Dash and she have a decent rivalry… Except Pinkie only sees it as a game rather than a job-ending move. Then again, she thinks everything’s a game if she gets creative enough.
Flutter Shy - A pegasus who spends most of her days taking wildlife photos. Though she’s very timid, she will start rambling about photography or nature if the opportunity arises. Because of her quiet nature and encyclopedic knowledge, Twilight finds her the most pleasant to talk to.
Apple Jack-O’Lantern — ..Or just “Applejack” for short. She lives in the outskirts of Ponyville, spending most of her time on her ranch. She has to upkeep her apple orchard and her pumpkin patch, which makes going out and socializing pretty rare… Not that she minds that, of course.
Pristine - A business-savvy unicorn whose fashion empire is growing by the day— And her upcoming boutique in Ponyville will be another prize jewel in her collection… So long as Nightmare Moon’s own protégée doesn’t ruin her lucky streak…
…Yes, Nightmare Moon has her own protégée in Lizzy’s story. And no, it’s not Luna. I don’t even know if Luna would exist in her story yet.
(Oh and Bonus headcanon for Lizzy herself before I go: imagine Elizabeth detailing all of this to Mike and Lefty and they start theorizing. Like they combine what they know about Gen 4 Ponies and start getting even wilder storylines.)

How to Earn Online Money In the USA
There are various ways to earn money online in the USA. Keep in mind that like any other form of income, online earning requires effort, time, and sometimes initial investment. Here are some legitimate methods to make money online:
Freelancing: Offer your skills and services on freelance platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, or Toptal. Depending on your expertise, you can find opportunities in writing, graphic design, web development, digital marketing, and more.
Online Surveys and Market Research: Participate in paid surveys and market research studies on websites like Swagbucks, Survey Junkie, and Vindale Research. While this won't make you rich, it's an easy way to earn some extra cash.
Content Creation: If you have a passion for creating content, you can start a blog, YouTube channel, or podcast. Once you gain an audience, you can monetize through ads, sponsorships, and affiliate marketing.
Online Teaching: If you have expertise in a subject or skill, consider teaching online. Platforms like VIPKid and Teachable allow you to create and sell courses to students worldwide.
Selling Products: Start an online store using platforms like Shopify or Etsy to sell physical or digital products. You can also leverage Amazon's FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) to sell products without the hassle of shipping and handling.
Stock Photography: If you're a photographer, you can sell your photos on stock photography websites like Shutterstock or Adobe Stock.
Virtual Assistant: Offer virtual assistant services to businesses and entrepreneurs. Tasks may include managing emails, scheduling, data entry, and more.
Affiliate Marketing: Promote products or services through affiliate links, and earn a commission for every sale made through your unique referral link.
Online Investing: Consider investing in stocks, cryptocurrencies, or peer-to-peer lending platforms, but always remember that investing involves risk.
Online Gaming and Streaming: If you're skilled in gaming, you can earn money through live streaming on platforms like Twitch, YouTube Gaming, or Facebook Gaming. Additionally, some games offer opportunities to earn money through in-game items and currencies.
Dropshipping: Start an e-commerce business without holding any inventory. With dropshipping, you sell products to customers, and the supplier ships the products directly to them. Platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce can help you set up your online store.
Remote Work: Many companies offer remote job opportunities. Websites like Remote.co and FlexJobs list remote positions across various industries.
Transcription Services: If you have good typing skills, consider providing transcription services to convert audio or video content into text. Websites like Rev and TranscribeMe offer such opportunities.
Online Consulting: If you have expertise in a particular field (e.g., business, finance, marketing, health), offer consulting services online via video calls or email.
Rent Out Your Space: If you have extra space, you can rent it out through platforms like Airbnb for short-term rentals or use Peerspace for events and meetings.
Online Surplus Sales: Sell items you no longer need on online marketplaces like eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or Craigslist.
Language Tutoring: If you are fluent in multiple languages, offer language tutoring or translation services through websites like italki or Verbling.
Remote Programming: If you're a programmer or software developer, you can find remote coding projects on platforms like GitHub, GitLab, and Stack Overflow Jobs.
Online Data Entry: Some companies offer data entry tasks that can be completed remotely. Look for opportunities on job boards or freelancing platforms.
Social Media Management: Help businesses manage their social media presence and create content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Create and Sell Printables: If you have design skills, create printable templates or digital products like planners, calendars, and artwork to sell on platforms like Etsy or your website.
Online Gaming Tournaments: If you're a skilled gamer, participate in online gaming tournaments that offer cash prizes.
Remote Customer Service: Some companies hire remote customer service representatives to handle customer inquiries via phone, chat, or email.
Virtual Events and Webinars: Host virtual events or webinars on topics of interest and charge attendees for access.
Remember that success in online ventures often requires consistency, dedication, and adaptability. It may take time to build a sustainable income stream, so be patient and keep learning and improving your skills. Always be cautious of scams and never invest money you can't afford to lose in any online opportunity.

I've played Cyberpunk twice before but your posts have inspired me to go for my third playthrough and first as male V so I can try out the Kerry romance. Also attempting to learn my way around the AMM mod so I can play around in photo mode more, cause I'm loving the virtual photography stuff. I'm hesitant to share though cause I feel like I barely know what I'm doing (especially since photography is my actual job and I feel like I should know what I'm doing 🤦♀️) and you're the only person I follow that's even into Cyberpunk. Anyway, sorry for the rambling, I guess I just wanted you to know your blog inspired someone 😊
aöskdjfaödsjfdffj !!! I feel like I've unlocked a new fandom achievement :D that honestly means so much to hear that I inspired you like aaaahhh ;A;
Okayokayokay, but yes, first things first: I'm extremely biased obviously, but definitely go an play Kerry's romance! It's short (I'm just gonna assume you know his questline if you played the game twice before) but personally I found it so heartwarming and lighthearted and chaotic in a good way after all the horros V went through for the entirety of the game until then xD Also, Kerry is such a good, multilayered character and you're not gonna be in the slightest prepared for some of things he'll say to a romanced V (at least I wasn't, but I also mean that in the best way XD). Would love to hear your thoughts once you get there and I hope you'll love it as much as I do xD
Also!! Don't be shy to share your virtual photography stuff! Photography isn't my job, I do have a tiny bit of experience with it through uni (we had a half-year course once, with outdoor and photostudio shootings and all that, and I learned a lot and really enjoyed it). And it's true, there are some similarities, in terms of how to pick and frame your motives for example, but also: it's still very different tools you're using, so it's normal to not immediately get the hang of everything. I quickly went digging through my screenshot folder for some of my first pics I took in Cyberpunk just with basic photomode:
I still genuinely like all of these (even though I think I didn't share all of them publically so far). But looking back with what I've learned since then (the oldest is the one with Vince on his bike, from Dec 15th '22, the newest is the one with Kerry and Nibbles, from February 22nd '23) I also know what I'd do differently to make them even cooler now xD
AMM also had a bit of a learning curve for me, still does in some regards XD But it really brought my VP to the next level, just for the immense amount of new poses compared to the 20-something or so in vanilla photomode, the nicer and more natural facial expressions, and yeah... the ability to spawn multiple characters xD You can do shippy stuff even with vanilla photomode, but with AMM there's... so... many... possibilities...
ALSO! What I'm still trying to get the hang of but which is so so nice and one of the main things I'd change about my old screenies: custom lights. Spawning different colour lights, basically having your own little photostudio setup wherever you want, however complex or simple you want, is amazing and makes a huuuge difference!!
An example of my learning curve with AMM and one of my favourite photo subjects: Arasaka!Vince
Feb 2nd 2023: The first time I styled Vince to look like he did during his time with Arasaka, vanilla photomode, the only mod I had was one to enter full CC with a shortcut whenever and everywhere. Already pretty cool shot, but in hindsight, the lighting is so bad xD I think I have a version of this edited to death in Photoshop somewhere, but I can't find it atm. PS helped fix the lighting a bit, but yeh... it's still not ideal, but not much you can do about it in vanilla except play with exposure and contrast more in the effects tab.
March 12th 2023: Spawned Vince with AMM, I think the pose is still a basic one that you also have in Photomode though. But his expression is an AMM one, there's custom lights, and I made use of AMM's awesome feature that lets you teleport to locations that are usually off limits (here the Arasaka Counterintel office you only get to see during the Corpo lifepath quest). Already so much better just with some red backlight and a bright frontal light that actually makes his face visible! XD This is also completely unedited!
May 7th 2023: One of my recent faves, post-graphics update, which also made everything look so much nicer in general! I think I had three custom lights (pale blue from the front, bright yellow from the left, and a small white one from top). And I've become a bit less scared about getting up close and personal into his personal space XD
TL;DR: It's a process! We're all starting somewhere, and if you're not comfortable sharing your stuff yet, that's completely fine. It's a learning curve, too, but don't give up :D I think I've really discovered an amazing new creative hobby through this game in the shape of virtual photography (and unlike real people, silly pixel men will hold their pose forever without flinching and I can fly around them and take pics from every angle... but admittedly, getting them to do exactly what I want is definitely a challenge sometimes, cause I can only say "noo, go 20 pixels further in Z direction... noo, too far, 1 pixel back again!! noo, look at Kerry, don't look at yourself, that's weird, stop moving your head around so much!" but when you then get that one perfect shot it's worth the effort and fiddling XD patience really really is key though).
If you ever decide you wanna share some stuff I'd love to see :D and if you need help don't hesitate to reach out! Now I gotta apologize for rambling, but yes :D Have lots of fun with male V and virtual photography :3
