That's right guys, Rain Wool is back in business!! Now that I'm getting back into the swing of needle-felting and FINALLY have lots more core wool to make all sorts of projects with, it's only right that I keep on going with this project, especially since, after Saint, I'm only one away from being done with the slugcats! I apologize for waiting so long to continue on with this project, but going forward I hope to start felting more of these guys more frequently.

In the meantime, however, I'm happy to finally share this fluffy little green bean!

It probably isn't very visible in these images, but on the cheeks, arms, and tail I intentionally left the wool less felted in for a softer, fluffier appearance. Since I have barely any of the straight wool roving felters normally use for long hair, this is my general go-to method for fluffy creatures.

I still think he looks adorable though, and I'm so excited to be close to finishing the slugcats!

Hunter broke the mold by switching to become a carnivore, something other slugcats don't seem able to do, and as a result is spiritually shunned and abandoned...

It's illness is likely related to the fact its eating meat too. I thiunk it has a prion diseases

I need more Gregory Edgeworth lives AU's just because I want to see more of the dynamic of Gregory being the most normal person ever while Miles is just like that. Like Gregory comes to the station one day, beaming with pride, telling everybody that his son passed the bar and is now starting his own career. All of them go to Miles' first trial expecting to see Edgeworth 2.0 and collectively going what the fuck after the first ten minutes. How the hell did Gregory Edgeworth make this kid? Meanwhile Gregory himself is just like isn't he great? I love my son so much :)

I don’t know if this is a hot take or not, but I dislike it when in modern Greek myth retellings nowadays there’s a side plot of Hera having an affair with one of Zeus’ brothers, Hades or Poseidon.

Webtoon’s Lore Olympus and Netflix’s series Kaos have both done this and I’m already tired of it.

Why I think the Fifth Urge being tied to the Concept Of "The Self" Is Really Cool!!

(aka my Apocryphal Texts personal interpretation of the fifth urge lol) - by egguca/mewguca

My personal favorite label/title for the Fifth Urge is "Self-Preservation", as it lends itself quite nicely into double-meanings. I also interpret the Urges as manifesting differently on a base level VS on a higher level. (like with animals vs with people, though people can still regress to displaying baser forms of the urges. Hopefully that makes sense?)

On a base level, "self-preservation" manifests as a survival instinct.

To preserve one's current life, rather than accepting death and rebirth. Lesser beings seem to struggle with this greatly, as the slugcats we play as (vanilla) cannot move past Fifth Karma without external assistance (FP or Echoes). I think a lot of people tend to focus on this due to Survivor's association with the symbol.

On a higher level, this is the preservation of the "Ego." Of the very idea of the self. One's self-image. Ascension is often referred to as

"crossing oneself out", so wouldn't that naturally mean to accept an extinguishment of the self? Of course, Ascension is intentionally vague, but I feel like it makes a lot of sense for the Fifth Urge to be tied to ego, at least on a higher level.

This stresses the importance of shedding the Fifth Urge in all its manifestations.

How would karma deal with a winged fae! Mc? Like would he know the rules?

Well Lotus Anon, Karma would just pretend that he doesn't know. But in truth, he knows a variety of different species - along with their biology, customs, and culture. His mother also communicated and was quite deft with faes. Although it was quite short, she had a infamous yet respected reputation among them.

And as a result, Karma feels a little irritated when it comes to faes. He won't engage in a large group unless absolutely necessary; so prepare yourself to be isolated from your habitat.

But if your group of faes are so damn persistent, then he'll just kill them. After all, what's the point of going through so many damn rules when you can just kill the competition?
