New Shipping Policies / Announcements

This post is going to explain our new procedures for shipping as well as some other announcements! This will apply to both Tumblr sales and the online store.

Shipping Costs: As I've been explaining during the last week or two, we are no longer able to offer free shipping. To avoid having to close our shop for good, we will now be replacing the free shipping we used to offer with a discounted shipping rate. It costs us 25€ (~$27) to send an average-sized parcel to the US, but we will charge a reduced price of $15 per package. In the future, if you order a particularly large amount of items at once from the online store, shipping may be around $20 instead, but that is for extra large items/high quantities only.

EXCEPTIONS: If you have an open box that was started before these changes took place, this will not apply to that box. That box will follow the old rules (free shipping after $60) but, of course, if you are willing/able to pay for shipping, we deeply appreciate it. Any box opened after today will have to follow the new rules.

Open Box System: To get the most for the shipping cost, you may choose to order/pay for items from one sale and ask us to hold them here. That way you can wait until you purchase more from future sales to make the shipping price more worth it for you. You will only pay shipping once, just make sure to let me know you want to keep your box open. Once you're ready, just ask us to ship and we'll combine all your orders into one box to send out to you!

Crystal Sales Moving Forward: I am aiming to have one large crystal sale per month, from now onward. I will announce and start previewing sales about a week beforehand, and I hope to keep to a more regular schedule from now on. I am also going to focus on having these themed sales! And I will most likely be able to offer the personal shopping/mystery boxes from the gem shows like I did last year.

Jewelry: I aim to have a new jewelry collection every two months or so. There will be some other offerings in between, but we will just see what works out! Any jewelry purchase can be combined with crystal sales for open boxes. My next jewelry collection (the BG3 inspired collection) is likely to be released at the end of March!

I just want to keep you all updated so you know what to expect and you can better decide if you want to keep an open box or not. I would also love to take any requests for future crystal sales or even themes you'd like me to try to organize!

Hope everyone's been having a happy halloween! After several years (?!) I've returned with a brand new Kickstarter campaign modeled after the original Robins After Dark-- this time focused on Gotham Femme Fatales!

(Lol I know Kori and Rachel don't count but shhh they're Robbie's friends they're honorary Gothamites ahaha)

The campaign will run from 11/6 at 9pm eastern to 11/26 at 9pm eastern. The normal KS pricing for the girl pins are $15 each ($18 in-hand) while the normal KS pricing for mini pins are $10 each ($12 in-hand.) There are further discounts for people who pledge for the full set of pins! There will also be a few early bird tiers available, so if you're interested in catching those discounts at launch, mark your calendars 😊.

A list of this campaign's offerings:

2.25" tall gold-plated enamel pins featuring the Sirens, Birds of Prey, and a few Titans/Young-Justice girls! These will be double-posted to prevent spinning during wear and feature glitter and sandblast effects to give the pins a bit of pizz-azz!

1" - 1.25" tall gold-plated mini pins for those who want a more subtle nod to their fan-favorite groups. These are shaped like badges and go well on shirt collars, bags, etc. Sandblast details will give the pins a bit of a 3D look despite their simple shape.

A new 5 x 7 Matte Postcard design for those who prefer to collect prints! One of the stretch goals includes a free postcard for all backers who pledge for 3+ GG pins.

Robins-themed Washi Stamp Tape! Includes the two girl robins and a bonus mini-Dick Grayson to round out the sidekick lineup.

Early Access to my Bat Theme enamel pin set. These are limited edition pins currently in production and will be sold as a set of 2 once in-hand. I'm giving Kickstarter backers early access to these designs before their public sale. These are large pins (3.25" - 3.75") and are perfect for displaying in a shadow box or as the main piece on an ita bag.

Remember that this is a fan project for nerdy enamel pin collectors! All the illustrations in this campaign are unofficial, Sonia-interpreted renditions of girls that don't get enough official love.

If you're not familiar with kickstarter, it's a crowd-funding campaign that lets customers fund a project before it's made. So keep in mind all these pin designs are not actual items (yet)-- you're helping to fund their production! Estimated reward fulfillment date right now is March/April 2024. In return for your patience, kickstarter backers will receive the best quality pins at the earliest time. If certain stretch goals are met, backers may also receive freebies like postcards and mini pins!

Shop Update March 2024

Time for the monthly update! This month I'm launching Angelology IV: Angels of Extinction. It will feature angel pins inspired by endangered or extinct creatures. The campaign will also be part of Backerkit's Pintopia 2 event, and I've partnered with guest artist VileWorm, who is running Eldritch Entomology, to offer a pair of freebie pins to anyone who pledges for both of our campaigns. I hope you'll consider pledging or at least check out the rest of the Pintopia 2 campaigns, they are all fantastic!

Onto shop stuff. Lots of new pins are in production and hopefully will be ready in April or May. I added listings for seconds grade Cerberus Cherub and Archangel Vash and Nai if you want these pins at a discount. Speaking of discounts, since March is my birthday month, everything is on sale in my Etsy shop until the end of the month.

And finally, I have launched my Faire and Shopify storefronts. Faire is a wholesale marketplace where retailers can buy my items in bulk at a discount. Frozen Through the Years

Yearly Spotlight: 2016

2016 was a BIG YEAR for the Frozen fandom. There were not many big events, but the real-world reach of the franchise itself expanded greatly.

In Disney World, the newly-rethemed Norway in Epcot opened, including the ride Frozen Ever After, the Royal Sommerhus (where guests could meet Elsa and Anna), and a Frozen-themed shop selling everything from plush dolls to drinkware. At Disney’s California Adventure, fans celebrated the opening of Frozen: Live at the Hyperion, a 55-minute show that ran multiple times per day until the park closed for the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

Sales of Frozen merch were going strong all over the world, to the point where discount shops stocked Frozen items along with the food they sold. Of course, most of the merch was aimed at children, but the Disney Enesco figurines proved to be popular among older fans! In March, Disney in Concert brought songs from Disney classics - including Frozen - to stages in Austria, Switzerland, and Germany, allowing the magic of Frozen to be experienced by whole new audiences. The brand extension Frozen Northern Lights also began in 2016, expanding the lore of our favorite story in the form of 5 books published (4 of them in 2016) and 4 LEGO shorts (though some of this lore was decidedly not canon).

Within the fandom, 2016 was also the beginning of shipping wars; intense arguments over which characters should be together ensued, proving to be somewhat divisive for a previously unified fandom. As the official franchise and the fandom continued to grow, Frozen remained in the hearts of superfans and casual viewers alike.

My custom Sweeney Todd shadow/light boxes are on sale this Wednesday, March 6th

The first 5 prototype boxes will go on sale March 6th (around 12pm PST)

These are first prints of this design and will sell at a discounted price, $60 (plus shipping). After this initial run the price will increase.

Details:

Boxes are modeled after the stage design of the 2023 Sweeney Todd revival featuring Josh Groban and Annaleigh Ashford. Prototype boxes are first run designs and may have minor flaws (most of which are totally unnoticeable to anyone but me, an insufferable perfectionist.) Designs are hand drawn, modeled, 3D printed in white PLA, and then stacked in 8x8in shadow boxes. The back of the box is customized to hold lights that run off of 2 coin cell batteries. These boxes are meant to be freestanding, there are no attachments for hanging. Hand painted/burned vellum paper diffuses the lights creating a spooky red glow. Finally the frame of the box is splashed with red paint to give it a real demon barber vibe.

Discounted Crystal Sale - April 1st 2024 Rules & Procedures

Hello friends! Everyone planning to participate in the sale today, please read. This is how everything will work. For tonight’s sale, there will be a few older items posted at a discounted price.

I will start posting items for sale directly here on Tumblr. To claim an item and place your order, do the following:

Reply to the post (those who are unable to reply for whatever reason can reblog) saying “sold” or “mine" with the quantity you’d like to claim. It’s important you do this so we can see who claimed something first in case something sells out.

Keep a list of everything you claim (with the item number for each item). Once you’re done claiming, please message me over the instant messenger.

Include the following information in your message:

Your email address for the invoice, the country you live in (for shipping purposes - we are shipping from Austria), and the list of what you claimed (with the item numbers). Also please let me know if you want your order to be *open box* or *ready to ship*. “Open box” simply means you want us to hang onto your items after you pay so that you can continue to add things from future sales so everything can be shipped together for convenience 😊

Shipping to Europe is $12 Shipping elsewhere is $15 For extra-large packages, shipping is $20

Be sure to send your info at the end of the sale or whenever you’re sure you’re done claiming.

Going to Michaels with CE Characters

Steve Rogers:

Steve has never been to Michaels.

Steve is overwhelmed at first.

You take him to Michaels because you need to get a few things for Natasha's bridal shower.

You get the items.

You two also bring James.

James sits in his stroller, peacefully napping.

Steve gets some colored pencils, some drawing pencils, and some sketchbooks.

He loves drawing you and James.

For Mother's Day, he plans on giving you a sketchbook with tons of drawings of James.

You get some yarn, knitting supplies, and crocheting supplies because you want to make a blanket for James.

You get James some palm crayons, and a huge coloring book.

He loves it.

You also find a few picture books for James.

You get a few beads, some really cool gems, and some jewelry making supplies for Sam's girlfriend, Vanessa, who is an up and coming jewelry designer.

Why does this always kick in at the most inconvenient of times-when you're out shopping, when you're at home trying to sleep, in the car, where you keep plastic bags within reach as a just in case.

You're done throwing up, so you dig in your purse for some mouth wash to get rid of the taste of puke.

You rinse your mouth out.

You and Ransom pay for your purchase.

Ransom has also loaded you into your wheelchair.

He takes you to the yarn department and you get some yarn to make a blanket for the newest Drysdale.

Little do you know right now that it will be TWO new Drysdale's.

Nine months later, you have your blankets made in white and blue for Harlan, and white and pink for Katherine.

Ransom wouldn't trade this for the world.

He gets to make new memories.

Ransom also gets several frames to display his favorite photos of you and him, and gets a frame for each ultrasound of the twins.

Andy Barber:

Andy and you are planning a Fourth of July party and a birthday party at your new house!

Andy and you go, but you have to go to the ladies room several times to throw up.

You're pregnant, and are very sick with morning sickness because of it.

You're morning sickness is worse than it should be.

Several days later, you're hospitalized for hyperemesis gravidarum.

It's not acute morning sickness, it's the morning sickness from hell!

Andy takes you Michaels to get some yarn to make a blanket for the baby.

You also get some wedding supplies.

You and Andy have your wedding in the backyard on a nice warm weekend in September.

You and Andy wouldn't have it any other way.

Joy is born in March, so you go to Michaels and Hobby Lobby a lot for baby shower supplies.

Colin Shea:

Harper will be turning one, so you and Colin look for things like cake decorating supplies, party supplies, and little party bags.

You find a ton of stuff!

You even get some yarn.

You want to knit Harper a sweater and Colin will get a pair of socks and a sweater.

Harper has brought so much love and joy to the Shea household.

Colin is writing a journal of how much he loves you, and you are writing a journal of how much you love him.

You find some palm crayons for Harper.

You present Harper her birthday presents, and she loves her palm crayons.

Everyone loves Harper. She even has balloons that celebrate her birthday, including a balloon that says 1.

You and Colin couldn't be happier or prouder.

Frank Adler:

Mary has a project due for school.

You, Frank and Mary go to get the needed supplies.

You also walk out with some yarn to knit a blanket.

Mary sees some kids learning how to crochet, so she wants to try it.

You buy her the needed supplies, and you sign her up for a class.

She has fun with it, because it helps her unwind at the end of a long day from her advanced classes.

She has a genius level IQ.

Frank gets a few decor items for his mancave and workshop.

You get a few things for the wedding.

It's an amazing outing because you guys get McDonald's after.

You and Frank want Mary to have some normalcy.

You wouldn't trade this for the world.

Jake Jensen:

There's an old-school arcade, so you drop Jake off.

You get some yarn to knit a blanket for both of your twins.

Jake is busy trying to score the highest on Donkey Kong.

"Jake, what are you going to do once the girls come?"

You laugh, and Jake stands behind you, placing his large hands on your developing bump.

"Mmm, honey bun, this is something I'm giving up once our girls are born."

"I won't have time for video games, the girls will need all of our attention every waking minute," says Jake.

Jake kisses your shoulder.

You wouldn't trade this for the world right now.

Johnny Storm:

Johnny understands that you have to make weekly trip to Michaels.

They have deals every week.

You can't resist a bargain.

You have enough yarn, but you're knitting a sweater.

You also buy enough yarn to make Johnny a blanket.

That Christmas, you present Johnny with his hand knit sweater, and his hand knit blanket.

Johnny loves them!

Johnny gets you an amazing white gold necklace with a heart, and a yellow gold necklace with a circle on it.

You understand the symbolism of each.

He put a lot of thought into them.

You wear them layered, you wear them every day.

Johnny uses the blanket every day, and even wears the sweater often!

He picks you up bridal style, and you both make love, with the blanket right on the bed.

Johnny is the best boyfriend you've ever had.

He's very appreciative of you and of everything you give him.

You're appreciative of everything he gives you because he puts a lot of thought into each gift.

Pete Brenner:

Pete and you are shopping for wedding items.

Your mom is with the both of you, and she picks up fabric to make the ring bearer's pillow.

Your mother insists on sewing this pillow.

You pick up some yarn to make a shawl for your wedding dress.

Pete picks up some wedding favors.

He finds things like small mint tins, mints, mesh bags, and even really cool centerpieces.

It's an amazing afternoon.

You, Pete, and your mom go out for dinner afterwards.

You eat at your favorite place.

You, Pete, and your mom have pizza and lemonades for dinner.

Dessert is a nice chocolate cake with chocolate ice cream on the side.

It was the best afternoon, because it was about spending time with the people you loved the most, Pete and your family.

Cole Turner:

You need to get some classroom supplies.

Cole drives you to Michaels.

He's not going to let you carry anything.

Plus, you've been teaching all week.

You get the classroom supplies, and some yarn to knit Cole a nice sweater.

You love your fiance, Cole.

Your ex-boyfriend NEVER did this for you.

You reveal the news when you're in the yarn department.

You ask Cole which yarn would go with the white-the yellow, the green, the blue, the purple, or the pink.

"Honey, are we?"

"Yes, Cole. You're going to be a dad!"

"Honey, I love you so much!'

"No pregnant fiance of mine is going to keep pushing this cart, or carry anything," says Cole.

His hand goes right to your stomach.

When you guys check out, Cole won't let you lift or carry anything!

He helps you in his truck.

He carries you back into the house when you get home, because no pregnant fiance of his is going to be on her feet!

He takes the packages in because no pregnant fiance of his is going to carry or lift ANYTHING.

The next morning, you and Cole watch the sunrise on the porch swing, and spend the entire morning on the swing.

You'll be coming to Michaels more often!

Cole gets his sweater, and your baby boy, Lucas and his twin sister, Dawn, gets their baby blankets.
