Update about ShizuLee (Shizuka Ryusu X Marshall Lee)

Wow. Has it been a while since I brought up this ship?

This OC X Canon ship is now 4 years old and I've kind of forgotten it existed, not gonna lie. And it seems to me that the ship is dead by now so… ShizuLee update is not a really bad thing, let's say.

For those wondering what's going on with ShizuLee, well unfortunately, I lost interest as time went on, and by the way at the time, it was just me trying to make things work out with the ideas I had. I had very little help to execute it, and writing is not my best thing, I'll be honest with that. Also lost interest with Marshall Lee from Adventure Time in general because, as a matter of fact, I just moved on… naturally, and got other interests. And I also kind of matured.

And I'll be honest, I must admit that I don't ship my OC Shizuka Ryusu the Scene Fox and Marshall Lee the Vampire King from Adventure Time anymore. I mean it by the way, because Marshall Lee has a human version of himself. 'Cause, you know, Marshall's vampire design and human design is not a really good cocktail. So yeah, let me tell you something about Fionna and Cake.

I am feeling like that Cartoon Network really doesn't care about the original version of Fionna and Cake, or its story, or at least not enough to use it outside merchandising, or doing the good ol' Hasbro technique, as I like to say it. And it truly sucks to me because fans like me wanted more to the original Fionna and Cake from Adventure Time or the spin-off that they released in 2023, and what did they do? Those human designs of Gary Prince Gumball and Marshall Lee slapped onto it, and it really fucking sucks. This only proved to me that Cartoon Network really doesn't give a shit about the original version of Fionna and Cake and only wanted the spin-off instead. And with that in consideration, I kind of understand why I lost interest in my OC X Canon ship ShizuLee, aside from my attention getting all over places, and why I lost interest with Marshall Lee in general.

All I can see now is a story of fans dealing with a company's corporate greed and lack of interest for the character designs that they make. And it makes me really sad.

Well, my OC X Canon ship ShizuLee is already dead so… I don't see a lot of hopes in reviving the ship. So I won't be posting about this matter publicly anymore unless I see legitimate news for Fionna and Cake, but at this point, it's too late, and… yeah.

By the way, I pretty much never post about Marshall Lee the Vampire King from Adventure Time anymore. So if you're wanting that from me, you're not gonna find it unfortunately.

Today is the day I created this ship, and it’s their 1 year anniversary!

Little known fact, I originally saw Marshall Lee when I was about nine years old when my sister and I are watching an Adventure Time episode called "Fionna and Cake", but on December 12th 2020, I was literally obsessed with him this whole time, and I love everything about him, such as his emo black hair, his vampire fangs, his elven ears, his red Converse sneakers, his levitation, his demon eyes, his Bat form and his Beast form. So I made a ship name for those two, Shizulee, which is actually a ship name for Shizuka X Marshall Lee, to fit in despite the fact that I'VE NEVER EVEN SEEN HIM FOR THE REST OF THE SERIES UNTIL I SAW THE EPISODE "FIVE SHORT TABLES" SO LOL.

Okay, so… First of all, Marshall Lee is Shizuka’s love interest. Why? Because both Shizuka and Marshall have the same hair color, though Shizuka has black scene hair and Marshall has black emo hair. I may support Fionna X Marshall Lee (or Fiolee), but I am a strong supporter of Shizuka X Marshall Lee (or Shizulee).
