Carnosaur 3: Primal Species (1996)

Plot: A military group attempt to transport a killer Carnosaur but they managed to lose it inside a box factory. With cunning and plenty of fodder, will they capture the creature?  Who knows.

^^^I must say pretty cool font compared to other horror flicks.

^^^^ Allergies even effect the most crappiest looking dinosaurs.

^^^^ Nothing like a blur movement to cover up the fact it doesn’t have feet.

^^^ So the dinosaur runs around and kills people in a heart beat but it hesitates on hovering food.

Ok but does anyone else remember when the dreadful spec script that became Netflix DN was going round, and how we all laughed? “Luke Turner” (or whatever the fuck his name was), we said, “how very amusing”.

You know though, I would have given them that if they’d actually made a movie that had anything in common with DN. Like, okay, we can lose the name, it isn’t ultimately relevant to the character. But don’t keep the name and lose everything that makes the character and the story recognisable, that’s not how this works! That’s not how any of this works aughskghjasuuuuuuugh

The best observation I’ve seen was that Netflix DN is to actual DN as the pilot manga chapter is: it has a notebook, and Ryuk, and a mystical way to undo dead people, and occasionally if you squint a bit you think you might have caught the briefest glimpse of what made the manga good. But ultimately, the pilot was unoriginal and shit, and so is the Netflix movie.

Also if writing “Watari” was good enough, why didn’t they just write down “L”, and why did it never occur to anyone to do that oh wait it’s because L is never a threat to anyone in this shitmovie.

Here is a video I pieced together from gifs: An appropriately shitty tribute to one of the greatest pieces of garbage ever made — Nightbeast. This movie is terrible in the very best way. There are multiple mullets, too much flannel and requisite terrible acting, but the best part is the alien, who wears a silver Bee Gees-looking tracksuit and rips people's guts out for seemingly zero reason. He also zaps them with a laser that makes them disappear with cut-rate Star Trek transporter special effects. It's perfect. Trivia: A 16-year-old J.J.
