The last Ampharos fusion adopt for a while! This was probably the funkiest of them all, a Meltan fusion!

A friend recommended this one and I accepted the challenge, for how long could I keep some of Ampharos features while maintaining the unique silly from Meltan! I also did my best to keep some of the shading style that makes Meltan :3

Pokefusion notes - Liquid Metal

This Pokefusion can be spotted close to metallurgical industries, they will consume metal pieces by corroding them using the liquid metal in their body. A difference they have with the common Meltan is that this fusion possess an electric core inside their body, this allows them to launch electric attacks at any moment or even accidentally zap anything around them.

The faux ears are part the hexagonal nut, which they can spin along with it!

Oh. Looks like we're at the end of the generation again. Only two more!

And you know what, this one's shiny is actually obtainable. ...but only if you play Pokemon Go.

Meltan is a pokemon that can be shiny during special events, but gigantamax Melmetal will never be legitimately shiny. The only way to get a gmax Melmetal is through pokemon home, and this Melemtal is always shiny locked.

hmm ok so they fixed the item drops for the gimmighoul raids, but the shiny rates seem to be intentional.

like, i kinda get it. it's kind of a special mon and they want the shiny to have high value or whatever. but considering it's a limited time event, and only the 5 star raids even have a chance to be shiny, i think they could've handled it a little differently. like, either boost the odds a little - maybe around 1/2000 for about double the standard rate - or make it so ANY of the raids could be shiny, not just 5 star.

i think the latter would've been ideal, since i know lots of full odds hunters out there are thrilled about this. but i think locking it behind 5 star raids only is a bit too much. especially since. yknow. they intend for this to be an 11 day event; you aren't actually intended to timeskip to reroll your dens, or avoid going online so the event stays past the end date. they want us to check all our dens and join online raids for 11 days and just hope we manage to hit a 1/4100 chance in that timeframe. which sucks.

so yeah. idk. weird choice. really hope this isn't the only chance we get for several years (:
